    Kronos was a really interesting God, in Percy’s opinion. He was a Titan God who had killed his dad to take over, then ruled for a long time and created the Golden Age... before he ate his kids and they got revenge by cutting him up. Percy related to him though, not on the eating his kids part, but the part where Kronos murdered his own dad.
    Percy very much wished he could murder Gabe. Kronos probably had loads of ideas for killing horrible (step)parents. And people prayed to Gods for help all the time, why not for help with murder?
    Or: Percy starts worshipping Kronos as a kid, hoping for some advice on how to off Gabe. Kronos is happy to assist.

    Inspired by the disney short “Paperman” (2012)

    After meeting an interesting stranger at the train station on a winter morning, William Solace was convinced he’d never see him again.

    However, that changed when he spotted said man through the open window of his university classroom across from Will’s office’s window. After failing to get the raven to spot him, he begins to look for another way to catch his attention.

    And so, Will starts throwing paper planes in his direction hoping they will reach his stranger.

    Little did he know this decision would not only have an impact on his love life, but also in the lives of several people who, like him, seemed to have fate against them.

     

    TLDR;
    A pretty short story in which Will starts throwing paper planes out of his window trying to reach the cute stranger from the opposite building. Unbeknownst to him, all those planes that didn’t meet their purpose ended up helping other people who seemed to be down on their luck.

    Annabeth elbowed him in the ribs: "Stop it. Everyone's looking at us."

    "I'm trying!"

    "It doesn't look like it!"

    "Okay, but doesn't it seem pretty spot on?"

    "What?"

    "The description of the work," he clarified, pointing to the caption under the statue.
    It said: "Human degradation and loss of values ​​post-20th century."

    It took him a while to figure it out—dyslexia was a real pain—but when he did, he couldn't help but think it was spot on.

    After all, that was Smelly Gabe. Who better to represent human degradation?
