It's not that Light disagrees with Kira, really. It's just that he believes he could do a better job.

But Light cannot write any of this down, of course. Should not have even written what he wrote. He looks down at it and makes a face, and then tears the entire page out. The ragged edge doesn't look too pretty in the notebook, but at least it was a new page; nothing on the other side to rewrite. He folds it up and puts it in his pocket to burn later.
He feels no hurry to do so.
This is his first mistake.

It's just, well. There was something about shaking his hand that made you remember-- upside down or tilted sideways, fitting into the angle perfect for you in between--
