And of course, Leon insisted on being there every step of the way as Sasha relearned how to walk. So who’s surprised when Leon ends up falling for a man he can't be with thanks to his dangerous and life-threatening job? Leon, the dumbass himself.

Leon fights against the parasite inside him and is allergic to showing any weakness willingly. Luis notices him stumble and makes them take a break, during which they talk and Leon admits to himself that maybe he does enjoy another human being's company, though he will take that to his grave before saying it to Luis' face lest the man's ego get any bigger.

When Satan comes to take Rin home to Gehenna, Rin has to think of some way to save himself and Shiro all on his own. Out of impulse, he makes a deal with Satan–after hearing Satan complaining about how he can't exist in Assiah because he destroys everything he touches, Rin suggests having a small piece of himself in Rin all the time–specifically, his head. Satan agrees as long as Rin doesn't give them away and no one is any the wiser as he starts as a student and Exorcist-in-Training at True Cross Academy.
