Summary
The camera zooms in, showing small flames that lick the ice, which melts away from the victim’s hand. The middle-school hero then works to unfreeze just enough of the villain to free his friend, who falls to his knees and starts coughing. When the villain starts moving again, the hero re-freezes him using his right hand. Then he steps back, runs a hand through messy green hair, and flashes a sheepish smile towards the camera.
A fire and ice quirk. Endeavor’s eyes are boring into Shouto.
It’s the quirk Shouto should have had.
Even though Todoroki Shouto is quirkless, he still wants to be a hero. He knows it will never happen. However, when he saves a classmate during the sports festival, he captures the attention of his father’s greatest rival. For the first time, somebody believes in him. This changes everything.
Or, the story of how Todoroki Shouto became the greatest hero.
(I took a long hiatus and am currently reacquainting myself with this to try to continue it)

But Izuku is back home for the holidays, and he wonders if he could see Katsuki again. Unfortunately, when he looks up his old friend's name, he learns that Kacchan is dead.

Summary
When he feels his time is up, Grian lets his eyes slide shut. It’s going to be nice to return to Hermitcraft again; he’s come to miss it dearly. Grian dies. It feels like falling asleep.
Grian’s awakening is quite rude. Rather than the cavernous ceiling of his base on Hermitcraft, Grian opens his eyes to a low wooden roof in a small room. He’s back at home, as if he just respawned. But he was on his last life, this shouldn’t be possible. He’s in pain, still feeling the effects of Bdubs’ trap, but he’s not on his deathbed. It doesn’t make sense. Why is he back here? He looks out the window – the sun is rising.
There’s a book on his bedside table. A book that he burned yesterday.
Or, Grian’s last task during secret life is a little different, and he cannot leave until he accomplishes it.

Summary
After the mysterious deaths of four townspeople, the hermits decide to hold a meeting at town hall to try to get to the bottom of things. Scar, for one, is not happy to be here. He'd rather be safe in his home than stuck in this stuffy building - but he's not safe anywhere, is he? So he sits in the middle of it all and watches the townspeople try to deduce who the real killer is while he quietly fans himself with a piece of parchment.
Written for Seasons Skirmish! My prompt was "murder mystery (botc / mafia style), inexperienced group must root out the culprit(s) amongst them" for spencespinch!

Summary
Tommy isn’t really the best with children. Ironic, considering he’s studying to become a music teacher. Well, that’s neither here nor there. He has time with that, he’s not in a classroom yet.
This? This is immediate. This is arriving in just two hours. He probably shouldn’t be calling Fundy “This.”
Yeah, Fundy’s arrival was a surprise. Who knew that when Tommy’s estranged older brother fucked off to America he knocked somebody up?
Certainly not Tommy. He didn’t even know that his brother was getting pissed and getting on the roads.
Or, there aren't enough fics where Ghostbur is explored as a character separate from Wilbur, especially in alternate universes. I've decided to change that (and take Tommy and Fundy along for the ride)

The guard stared at him for a moment, blue eyes blown wide behind his mask.
It was then the Pythia looked down at the hand outstretched between them. The prosthetic was made of intricately carved metal, covered in vines and flowers twisting together with the shimmer of enchantments reflecting in the purple glow.
And although the guard’s sleeve was covering his wrist, he knew that in the place where metal met flesh, there was a pair of dark angel wings tattooed on his skin.
He was right. This wasn’t a real guard.
This was a Deathling.
or, Wilbur is an oracle known as the Pythia, chosen to receive dreams of the future from the goddess Clara. One day, he receives a dream warning him that during a ball Emperor Schlatt is hosting, the Deathlings—terrorists who worship the goddess of Death—will launch an attack. He glanced up again, and this time his eyes caught on the TV playing in the corner of the cafe. The volume was turned down, but Wilbur read the headline and found himself forgetting all about the drawings on Tommy’s jacket.
Coven cleared of all legal suspicion for recent Turning
The captions were on for the TV, and while they weren’t very accurate, Wilbur tried to read what the newscaster was saying anyway.
”The Turning was ruled by a judge to be an act of the Good Samaritan Law, and no criminal charges will be brought to the vampire or his coven as a whole.”
or, vampires and humans have coexisted for over a century now, each minding their own business. Frankly, Wilbur barely knows anything about vampires, and he likes it that way. All that matters to him is his bookstore job, his motorcycle, and his best friend, Tommy. It's not like he has any reason to get involved in the world of the undead. That's not his problem.
At least until the undead start knocking on his door, telling him that Tommy is somehow far more involved in the world of vampires than Wilbur could've ever guessed. Then it becomes his problem.

“At least until we can contact your mom,” he said. “That’s step one.”
“There’s more steps?” Tommy asked incredulously.
“Well, it’s a complicated situation. The fact that they’re already struggling to make contact is… well, it’s a red flag. You lived with your brother, but your mother never transferred sole custody, and considering the situation that left you in, there's some question as to whether or not she may be involved in your brother’s… business.”
“Drugs,” Tommy said.
“Yes. Drugs.”
