Summary
This is a series of one-shots that happen in the same universe: one in which Gotham is sentient and sapient, and in a symbiotic relationship with it's people. Civilians sing/hum/talk to her, which gives her the ability to siphon/lessen the bad things they're feeling. (Basically singing gives them comfort.) These feelings are an energy source for her, and allows her to become more powerful and able to protect her citizens in small ways (Like moving an uneven rock to the left so a poor underworked barista who's running late doesn't eat shit and break their nose.)

Bullying?
Damian scoffed at the word. He wasn't being bullied.
What a quaint idea. It conjured up visions of being smacked around or shoved into toilets. Of being forced to ingest alcohol or some other mind-altering drug. Of having his locker defaced with filthy insults or stuffed with trash. Which wasn’t what was happening to him at all.

"I am safe," he responded crisply. "I am with Red Hood, who is unconscious but stable. There has been one casualty."
Grayson's indrawn breath was sharp in Damian's ear. It felt like something was squeezing, squeezing, squeezing Damian's chest.
"Casualty? Did Hood—"
"No!" Damian had practically shouted that. He clenched his hands into fists. He needed to get himself under control.
He took another deep breath. "I did."

Summary
Someone trips his window alarm at 4:08 in the morning and Jason twitches awake. He grabs his sword as he rolls out of bed. His current safe house is located in one of the better neighborhoods in the Fashion District, and he doesn’t want to shoot a gun here if he can help it.
In the living room, he sees a shadowy figure straighten out of a crouch.
“Don’t shoot,” the intruder says.

Or: Jason can't believe the Replacement has the audacity to come through his window looking for help. -

Summary
The man who'd caught his attention was not that rich loser. It was someone much worse—the aptly named Richard Summers who'd been all but running a campaign in the news lately, claiming Bruce was abusing him.
Robin was hardly scared of anyone or anything.
Except for one thing: being taken away.
