Bio

I've been in fandom since 1971 and have done just about everything fannish you can do, including illustration, writing, working on and giving conventions, and publishing zines cunningly made out of dried flats of wood pulp glued together on one side.

I love AO3 and wonder what awesome thing fandom will do next. We do seem to have taken over pop culture, although it's a little weird how some of the mens-fans seem to think they created media fandom and we awful women are messing up their wonderful media-fandom world with our fake and opportunistic neo-fannishness. Can somebody explain that to me? I was there and media fandom was 90-percent-plus female until the early 90s, except for anime, which reversed that statistic.
