There is a certain air about yourself you need to present when you are undercover. A mailable identity of trust and malice that takes a long time on a cops career to hone let alone perfect. Walking up to a criminal and convincing them that you not only anyone they want to see, but also someone they need, all the while teasing information and evidence out naturally. You can tell a lot about a cop with how they play undercover.
Detective Terry Bruno was more than a little curious how Captain Renee Curry would play hers. In the almost year they have worked together, he has yet to see her as anyone else than who she is. Straightforward, meticulous, and passionate. What layers could she dig up for a case. And how much of it would be an act.
