Summary
To say that today was a bad day would be the understatement of the century.
It was horrible. Terrible. Awful. The worst day of your life, possibly. Which maybe wasn’t really that hard, because you have only been alive for three days, but you think your first worst day of your life shouldn’t suck as much as today did. By the end of it you just felt so exhausted and drained you barely even resisted Kris when they pulled you out of their body and threw you into that forsaken cage. You didn’t register when you hit the metal bars either, or maybe it’s just that Kris, too, had been too tired to treat you with all the hatred and aggression they usually directed at you. Whatever the case, the conclusion was the same: today just sucked. Badly.
The Soul ponders about the events of the day.

Summary
What does it mean to be human?
Is it the way we think? The bodies we inhabit? The morals we live by?
This question has echoed since the first spoken word — and still it churns, shifting with us as time moves forward.
But what happens when something far beyond human asks that same question? A being so vast, so unbound by our logic that it cannot truly understand what it means to be human — even if it has been one before. Could it live as we do? Could it choose to stay human, to remain shackled, even when offered a taste of the infinite it truly is?
The answer has always been NO.
But what if that certainty isn’t as absolute as it seems? Can fate be rewritten? Can even inevitability change?
One curious scientist — who has glimpsed the infinite and survived — is ready to help answer that question.
Together, they begin an experiment.
It all begins with a connection — one that might unravel everything.
