Bio

I've written fan fiction in the following fandoms: Due South, Emergency, X-Men (movie), and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don't write traditional fan fictions with tons of details. Mine focus on slices of life, many of them are ficlets, while some are rambling book length. I'll be posting them here bit by bit as I edit and make corrections as they have been posted elsewhere a number of years ago. Hopefully I will be adding new fics in the future when I find the time.

due South and it's characters belong to Alliance. I just use them for fun. Emergency! doesn't belong to me and neither does Johnny Gage, but I like to give him some rescues and fun that the series never got to while in production.

My Pet Fan Fic Peeves:
I hate death fics. I don't really like fics where the characters are old and grey. To me they will remain forever young, just the way they are on film.

I hate slash fics when the characters on the show aren't portrayed as gay. Jack Harkness is gay. Johnny Gage isn't (seriously, the man was the biggest woman chaser in the series, almost legendary - so not gay). Sherlock isn't (He's married to his work, but flirts and dances his way around Molly Hooper). Benton Fraser isn't (Victoria, Thatcher, Frannie, and a few other women). I just don't understand why women feel the need to take men who are friends on tv shows and movies and have them wake up gay.

I despise fics that portray the actual actors. Too weird and stalkish for my tastes. They're actors portraying characters, not the characters.

I hate it when the men are portrayed as crying, sobbing, and weeping like weak women, especially in the Emergency fandom. In the 70's, men didn't sob and weep out in public or on tv shows.

No rape fics and trolling slash writer comments will be deleted. Remember, it's supposed to be fun to write this stuff, not a chance to bash people anonomysly.
