Tony’s blood ran cold. Shit, he’d forgotten about that. It always came- like clockwork. It always came when he allowed himself to relax a little too much. He’d ordered FRIDAY to make sure of that. Despite knowing full well about it, despite the words haunting his dreams and passing thoughts, it always made his blood run colder. Tony’s eyes opened wearily. He hated being awake.
“FRIDAY.” Tony’s voice was suddenly firm. “Hologram off.” The hologram didn’t shut off.
