Summary
All the gems I've found in my time digging through A03. Any length, any fandom, any genre, but no explicit fics. There will be warnings for sexual content.
Each bookmark will have notes abt what I like in the piece, warnings (if applicable), and sometimes a 'vibe'. AKA my description of the piece's tone/aesthetic. Don't be worried if it doesn't make sense!
There are also tags for length and feel. They are:
Short story(0-30k), novella (30k-50k), novel (50k-100K), and Epic (100k+)
Silly (humor/crack), Scary (horror), Soft (fluff), Sharp (angst), Smarp (light angst), and Smooth (narrative)
the last three of those are really badly defined and I'm not quite sure how to explain them. Smooth is, like, 'this is an engaging story' and Sharp is about the emotional impact?? You'll figure it out
Format fuckery is for epistolary fics/anything that plays with its medium
Romance is also tagged. I'm not sure why.
To skip to my faves, check out the 'must read' and 'something else' tags! These are the best of the best. There's about 15 of them, ranging in length, and I love all of them dearly.

Summary
Made for Harpieisthecarpie on tumblr! public collection for any and all "get your (attack) dog on a leash" fiction (their words). Add whatever you like! If a work isn't available to be added to collections you can add a bookmark instead, which gives the added bonus of being able to leave a little note of why you like the fic.
As for a tagging system, I propose any authors who want to make this theme/motif/vibe searchable use 'dog motif' as a content tag?

I've noticed that fandom spaces tend to ignore female characters entirely. This can make it really hard to find good female characters!

There's some fics on A03 that exude such a genuine love for their world that it makes something inside of you start vibrating intensely. Be it technobabble filled magic systems, fleshed out OCs, or just plain WORLDBUILDING, every fic in this collection has a palpable sense of place that leaves you wanting more.
