It just wasn’t really a plausible possibility, what with Denki being a huge top ten pro hero with every aspect of his privacy stripped from him and Hitoshi being some big secretive agent that works entirely underground and doesn’t exist to the public eye. It’s just not really a ThingTM that they can do. So they weren’t dating. But that absolutely didn’t stop Denki from stealing Hitoshi’s hoodies or t-shirts (or sweatpants after they’d worked out or sparred together) to bury his nose in at night and dream that Hitoshi could live with him and that they could fall asleep together and live together like a couple.

Hitoshi Shinsou wakes up to a note from Kaminari asking to take things to the "next level"
It isn’t until the warm, rich brew is scalding over his taste buds that his eyes fully open and he sees the small note pinned to the refrigerator. He pulls it down and leans back over the counter for another sip of his coffee before reading the note. Kaminari’s chicken-scratch scrawl is a sharp contrast to the cutesy blue and white Squirtle shaped note paper his note is scrawled on. Shinsou has to rub the sleep from his still hazy eyes before reading it.
I want to take our relationship to the next level.
Can we talk tonight?The words sear in Shinsou’s mind, setting him off balance and when he sets his mug down a little too hard coffee sloshes over the counter and Kaminari’s note. “Fuck…”

Shinsou nods, face lost in thought. “Okay but when you did, how did you know you just didn’t like them as a friend? How did you know it was more?”
“I guess…” Aizawa exhales, he really despises remembering. “When you like someone, you feel like you want to be closer to them in every way, closer than anybody else. You want them to need you as much as you need them, but you know they’re not just a friend because you want to hold their hand and know what it feels like to kiss them.”
It’s too late to stop the images flooding his mind now, Yamada’s wedding day on a loop in his mind.
“Mmh, I see…”
Aizawa takes off his glasses, tosses them on his desk and digs the heels of his palms in his eyes until he sees white spots dancing over his vision instead of the smile Hizashi had on his face when he said I do.

Summary
One time Kaminari falls asleep on Shinsou, one time Shinsou falls asleep on Kaminari, and one time they fall asleep on each other—not necessarily in that order.
In which Shinsou has a gay crisis when his crush sits on his lap during movie night, Kaminari jumps to incorrect conclusions yet somehow gets a boyfriend out of it anyway, and Aizawa is just tired and glad his son found someone that makes him happy.
“Hey Shin-dawg, mind sharing your seat?”
“Only if you never call me ‘Shin-dawg’ ever again,” he replies dryly.
The blond pouts for a moment as he cries “Nooo!” before his smile returns and he says “Fine, I suppose if that is the price I must pay then so be it.”
Hitoshi rolls his eyes at the dramatics and starts to move over to make room, but freezes as Kaminari gently plops down on top of his thighs. Underneath him Hitoshi is frozen like a deer in the headlights. Kaminari is sitting in his lap. What the fuck. What the fuck. Hitoshi isn’t opposed to it, but the truth of the matter is that he feels like he might spontaneously combust at any moment. Kaminari is sitting on his lap. He’s just. There. Perched on top of Hitoshi’s thighs. What the fuck.
