“Ambrosius, my boy.” The Director brushed Ambrosius’ arm gently, making his skin crawl. “I know the last few months have been difficult for you, but you must hold firm. You’re so bright and full of hope, and I wanted to spare you some pain. Please, stop pursuing senseless dreams. You know, deep down, that Ballister cannot be innocent. You know that he is a traitor and monster.” She smiled sweetly. “And you know what we do to monsters, right? We destroy them and everything they hold dear.”
Ambrosius swallowed, but his voice stayed steady. “Yes, Ma’am.”

Pollux found a little boy sobbing in the woods, hugging a tree like it was his mother. The boy didn’t hear Pollux coming closer, busy shivering as he was. (It’ll have to be fixed, as a demigod you couldn’t just be this blind to your environment, unless you wanted to be a dead demigod.)
“So, what’s your name, bud? I spotted you the other day, but we didn’t have the occasion to meet properly.”
The boy hugged his knees. “I’m Will.”

"He is… sleeping?" Arthur frowned.
"Yes, yes, we believe so. It has been quite some time since one of us spot him traveling the world. But some children discovered him here and we don’t think he left since." The old druid laughed gently, his eyes sparkling, "He is always so kind with the children."
Arthur felt his face turn pale. "And when- when was it? For how long has he been ‘sleeping’ here?"
"Oh, for at least thirty years."
