Summary
Danny was sent away by his father Bruce Wayne for his safety to go and live with his uncle in a small town in Illinois. Danny then grows up there feeling unwanted and has a lab accident that kills him and becomes the future ghost king. Guess Bruce’s plan didn’t work and to top it off the Justice league has to save Danny who has been trapped in the GIW then he has to go back home to Gotham with that family that has been keeping secrets from him for years, but Danny is also has secrets that he doesn’t trust with his family who gave him up…well other than Jason. I mean can you blame him.

Summary
Danny Fenton's parents were scientists. They had spent most of their adult lives working on making an interdimensional portal to the land of the dead. They succeeded in constructing it, but when they went to activate it, nothing happened. Retreating to look at their blueprints and sulk, they didn't notice their 15 year old son, Danny, tinkering with the machine. It was a frequent occurrence for their kids to be in the lab, and they weren't worried.
Then Danny stumbled, and hit a button they had missed switching on.
The portal opened, and stayed open. The explosion vaperised down into solid stone, the naboring buildings were scorched and rubble calapsed into the crator, and the portal remained, the area echoing with the cries of the death throws of a child.

Growing up as the son of the local mad scientists wasn't the most fun for Danny. There was always radioactive waist or tools cluttering the dining table. Or his parents were too busy with an invention to come to his sports games or music shows or school play... or cook dinner... or notice that Danny wasn't eating. Jazz had noticed, but after...
But at least they had been home, a constant noise of activity for him to fall back on so he wasn't alone.
He missed that, he missed them all so much. He wished they had survived the fight with Pariah Dark.
