Barbatos drank for many reasons, one for the death of his greatest friends, and another to drown out the cries of a very close and very dear friend that was trapped in a guilded cage, at least until the cage finally was broken.
The citizens find that the prophecy has passed and Neuvillette is the hero, but some how Furina is still alive, despite getting the death sentence, they are not happy that the "fake archon" and the "traitor" has survived completely ignorant to the sacrifice their archon made for them, they wont be for long.

Mona is leading a quiet, if troubled, life in Mondstadt. Scaramouche has taken up a new name and is on the run from his past. When the pair violently collide, the only option is to flee to Sumeru together.
It doesn't take long, however, for the true motivation behind Wanderer's journey to come to light. The Fatui are hunting him down, and he in turn dreams of the day when he can finally wrap his hands around the throat of the Doctor who betrayed him. For this, he needs Mona's help, and he will use everything in his power to keep her by his side.

A What-If? story where Ganondorf is reincarnated in Teyvat, but during a time where both Link and Princess Zelda are mere children, so to protect them and Mondstadt, Lumine has to team up with the Knights, the 11th Harbinger, and her own brother. What could possibly go wrong in that scenario?

Things have never been more dire for Mondstadt, as Jean struggles to lead the Knights despite Diluc's disappearance, Venti requires Barbara's assistance for something he is certain the elder sister would never approve, Scaramouche must prove his change by assisting Mona in deciphering the upcoming Calamity, Aether ends up with accidentally encountering Amber in his attempts to find the truth, and Lumine must believe Childe's intentions as they try to protect a young Link and Zelda from the reincarnated Dark Wizard Ganondorf.
