Summary
When the attempt at healing Uther backfires and kills him instead—thereby reinforcing Arthur’s hatred of magic—Merlin decides that the time has come to give up on destiny and leave Camelot before he can make things even worse. After giving up his magic so that it might guard the citadel in his absence, he sets out for Ealdor for some much-needed rest. He is pleasantly surprised when Gwaine rides out after him to escort him on the journey. The question is why…

Summary
Gwaine returns to Camelot after a lengthy diplomatic visit to Nemeth, only to find that Merlin has been so busy saving the kingdom in his absence that he has not even had time to shave. Spellbound by Merlin’s new look, Gwaine resolves to find a way to convince his friend to both keep the beard and let himself relax and be taken care of for a change.

Summary
When Merlin recuperates from what Gwaine was almost certain would be his death, he kisses him out of sheer relief and definitely nothing more—at least that’s what he tells Merlin. Unfortunately, Merlin believes him. It’s not the first time something like this has happened to him, after all…

Summary
Merlin had failed. Despite all his efforts, Arthur had ended up dead in his arms on the shores of Avalon, so close to salvation. Surely, this could not be how their shared destiny was supposed to end? No, it was all Merlin’s fault—he had made all the wrong choices, misinterpreting prophecy after prophecy. If only he could go back and try again, now that he knew better, maybe he could right his wrongs. Maybe he— Oh. Maybe he could go back…
Ignoring Kilgharrah’s protests about the impossibility of what he aimed to do, Merlin let all his power loose, becoming one with the fabric of the world and the magic he was born of. After following the bond he shared with Arthur through the winding paths of time, he finally emerged a decade into the past, having successfully seized a second chance to get this whole destiny thing right. Unfortunately, he would have to win Arthur’s trust all over again, seeing as Merlin was alone in remembering anything of the future he was hoping to change. Or…was he?

Summary
The man in the front row of Hob's Introductory Literary History class is attractive. Very attractive. Distractingly attractive, in fact, especially since he appears to be attracted to Hob in return, judging by the heat in his unwavering gaze. This is a problem, seeing as Hob is the lecturer of said class, and the man his student. Obviously nothing can come of it...unless Hob has misread the situation...?

Merlin has to keep this secret, otherwise she'd never be allowed to sit in a Tavern with the Knights of Camelot.

Summary
“... Won’t you be warmer closer to the fire?” Merlin mumbled without opening his eyes, as Gwaine wriggled close enough to be able to smell the saffron-roasted fish-scent which stuck to Merlin’s hair. He looked really tired up close—Merlin always looked really tired, and somewhat sickly at that—and Gwaine had to resist the urge to indulge in behaviours which were far from charismatic and aloof.
“No,” he lied, good-humoured, and threw an arm about him.
[Or: Merlin and Gwaine embark on a deeply necessary Herb-Foraging Quest which has nothing to do with finding a way to release various kinds of tension. Dragons and destiny inevitably become involved.]

Summary
There’s a weird, crawling tension that permeates a room in the moments before a tavern brawl begins. Merlin would really be paying much closer attention to the potential danger, if only she wasn’t so suddenly and completely captivated by a mysterious woman, who holds a tankard of ale in her hands and has a self-assured grin on her lips.
