He’s not sure when his life became so entwined with Merlin’s. Perhaps it was that first day on the train, seeing that pale-faced little boy by the sweets trolley. Their first potions lesson together, their fight in the Great Hall, when that Griffin was rampaging in the forest.
He hadn’t known then; you don’t see someone’s face for the first time and think ‘one day I will not be able to live without you.’
But Arthur thinks it now. He’s been thinking it for quite some time.
Arthur and Merlin have always been joined at the hip, despite the fractious start to their friendship. Arthur's not sure when it became something more, or if it's always been there. But when he heads to Merlin's for Christmas, it becomes too huge to deal with - Gwaine's new interest in Merlin, Morgana's strange distance and the odd whisper that calls to Arthur in the middle of the night...

Summary
The waiting was hard, of course. But it wasn't the hardest part.
The hardest part was how everything kept changing. Everything was fast and slow; each life a small story that played out across the long messy scrawl of time.
And Arthur sleeps, missing it all -- so Merlin is determined to take in as much as he can. Over the centuries he forges on through terror and triumph, loneliness and love -- sometimes helping and sometimes hurting, but always striving with every passing life to be closer to the man he wants to be when Arthur finally returns to him.

Summary
Does anyone know Lance is in love with Keith?
Of course not. And Lance would very much like to keep it that way, thank you! Keith already doesn't want anything to do with him ever since coming back from that space whale; the last thing Lance needs on top of his crumbling self-worth and shaky standing in the team is a rejection that shatters his heart in pieces, too.
But now, Lance got himself in a bit of a pickle. Which is fine, because Lance has a plan to get out of it! A wonderful, brilliant, masterful, completely fool-proof plan. His team won't look at him like he's more incompetent than they already do, he won't have to spend the rest of his life trapped on some alien planet, and Keith will never find out just how head over heels he is for him. It's a win-win-win situation.
Of course, with Keith, things are never quite so simple, and Lance's plan soon causes a domino effect that changes the entire course of his life.

Maybe Lance should have been a little more specific when he said he'd do anything to get home. Because now...
"You must bestow a kiss on the one your soul most desires."
