Tankhun hums and turns his attention back to the piece of paper in his hands.
“Will hold a soirée next Saturday, and on the two consecutive Saturdays a well. Any girl that will succeed in gaining Vegas’ attention will be wedded to him without further ado, blah, blah, blah,” Tankhun finishes, scrunches up the piece of paper and throws it over his head. “A wife, really? For Vegas?! I mean, doesn’t uncle know my cousin’s not into women?”

Summary
Chinese New Year dinner is the only family event where bodyguards are strictly forbidden. For the last five years, Pete has stood outside the closed dining room doors, waiting to see which Theerapanyakul is going to storm out first and what crockery/furniture/limbs will be broken by the end of the night.
Unfortunately, Pete isn't allowed to stay outside this year. So he arranges for some...extra insurance. It does not help.

He flicks half of the cigarette to the ground and stomps on it, taking a deep, long breath, before he reaches for the door. He’s about to come inside, when he hears the noise again. He pulls out his gun and carefully goes to investigate.
The closer he gets to the big dumpster, the louder the cries are. God, it sounds like a baby. He jogs the rest of the way and swears loudly, pocketing the gun.
On the ground lies body of a young woman and right across her chest rest a small baby, Porsche has no idea how old, something around half a year probably.
“Shh,” he shushes, kneeling next to the small child. “Hey, it’s okay.”

Wu Suowei drew in a shaky breath. “Why?” he asked.
“You are for me,” Chi Cheng replied as his lips ghosted over Wu Suowei’s neck and his hand moved over the panting man’s growing erection.
