    When the Archon War first began, there existed a god with no followers of its own. Some believed that the god was the God of Love while others argued that the god was the God of Lust. Even after thousands of years had passed, the Curse of Asmodeus remained. In present days, twenty percent of humanity has secondary genders known as Doms and Subs.

    Kunikuzushi—formally known as Scaramouche—was a Sub without a Dom. After turning into a human, his body began to deteriorate without having a partner so he locked himself within a realm of dream created by the Dendro Archon, where he planned to spend his remaining days alone.

    …Until two Doms who were apparently lovers suddenly intruded into his realm and decided to make a home here, that is.

    I genuinely adore this fic a lot. Really nice to see rare ships shine like this, espacially as a crossover!
    The love and effort the creator put is evident, I found myself enjoying and looking forward to the word building and to see how our two Adepti get settled in on the Luofu, even more than the fluff at times ngl, it's written very well imo.
    tbh I cried a bit when Xiao said he would follow Morax, and that whole scene, and also the inclusion of Fontaine was very cool too.
    the ending is very lovely aswell.

    psa: an idea another commentor mentioned on the last chapter to which I also agree. that the ship and the characters as individuals are characterized very well. And also love their suggestion of more Xiao and Yanqing shenanigans. I would also love to see them in the wardance, etc. lowkey feel like they could be besties.

    --TLDR; 10/10 reread-value, would recommend.--
