The chains bit into Leo's wrists with familiar cruelty, metal warmed by his blood where it dripped steadily onto concrete. The Purple Dragons circled him like vultures, brass knuckles and knives glinting dully in the warehouse light. But they hadn't caught him. He'd let them take him. Let them chain him up. Let them think they had the upper hand. Because two days ago, these same Dragons had put Raph in the infirmary. And Leo was here to return the favor.

Summary
Raph woke up to a feeling that tasted sour coating his head. His mouth was dry, like he'd gone without drinking for a week, but even just the idea of that made nausea clog up his throat. His thoughts were heavy, clouded in a way that stuck to his skin like honey and made him want to bash his head in. His limbs dragged his body down, too heavy to be moved but also too brittle to carry his weight.
Still, somehow despite all of that, he pushed himself up—and immediately regretted it. Vertigo hit him like a tidal wave. Raph let himself fall back onto his bed, too afraid of toppling over if he stayed upright a second longer.
