Dressed in a black and white cropped hoodie with a checkered hood, a black pleated skirt with chains dangling from the waist, and black thigh highs with little cat faces on the front is his roommate. The pierced beanie sitting atop their head adds to their image as well. Their curly black hair drapes over their shoulders and frames the pale skin of their face. Add raccoon bites and a spiked septum that rests just above black painted lips and you have Benrey. Narrow black eyes and all.
“You like it?” They snicker, doing a stupid little twirl with their arms slightly out at their sides.
Gordon swears he doesn’t look at it.

Summary
A year ago, an endless storm swallowed the world, trapping the people of Belle Isle on their small island indefinitely. Legends dating back centuries say that storms at sea are caused by the Great Dragon of the Sea, a god that dwells in the deep, and that the only way to stop them is to appease its anger. Hank’s not sure he believes all of the stories– not until the storms take his son. Desperate to get him back, Hank joins a team of adventurers on a quest to find the Dragon in the hope that it will have answers about Cole’s fate.
Hank isn’t the only one looking for answers. Out at sea, the crew discover they have a stowaway on board, an amnesiac named Connor who’s forgotten everything about who he is and believes the sea has answers. Wow, this guy asked a lot of questions. He looked adorably lost. Tommy could point him in the right direction, but his mention of the break room reminded him of the nonsense on the wall in there, and he fought down a snort of laughter. Maybe the new guy would appreciate the signs.

After staying up too long Gordon foolishly makes a mistake with his current work project and gets stuck in a wall. This late at night the only other person around is the security guard Benrey who he totally hates and isn't in denial about being friends with. Benrey helping out goes about as well as expected but it's okay! They learn a whole bunch of new things about each other : )
