Summary
Percy loved the water. He'd spend his whole life in the water if he could! The ocean always seemed so gentle when he and his mom were at the beach.
But.
Sometimes, if the ocean was especially dark or choppy, he felt a striking fear rush through him. And sometimes, if a wave crashed over him while he was swimming, he swore he could feel something sharp pushing him further and further down.
It was weird. Just like how he felt a strange familiarity when his mom told him about Greek Mythology. The fondness for Athena and Hermes. The absolute dread he felt for Poseidon. Especially odd given his love of the ocean.

Morgoth has Lúthien's heirs kidnapped and brought to Angband as revenge against her and to hurt Maedhros and Maglor, who have by all accounts grown quite attached.
Maedhros and Maglor have no choice but to go and rescue them.

Esther attempts to break the deal to save the future firstborns from Dahlia, who keeps her word and returns for Finn and Elijah. The oldest three grow up together under Dahlia, it isn’t pleasant.
Mostly started because of Whumptober 2023 and the based around the idea of what if Dahlia had returned for 'little Finn, even unborn Elijah.'Freya isn't alone, Finn reunites with her and Elijah grows up the youngest, elsewhere Henrik lives and Klaus and Kol are stuck as the oldest.

“We are not fighting about this right now,” Gandalf snaps. “Anyway, Bilbo’s the one who found it. Practically tripped over it. Thorin had his heart set on finding the stone, but Bilbo could see that the dragon-sickness was getting to him. So the crazy little fucker claimed the Silmaril as his share of the treasure.”
Galadriel whistles in appreciation. She’s messing with her hair, twisting it into tiny braids. “And then Thorin threw him off the battlements?”
“And then Thorin tried to throw him off the battlements. Thankfully, I was there to stop him.” Gandalf shrugs. He will not brag in front of the Lady of Lórien, no matter how much he wants to. “I got Bilbo back to our camp, asked to borrow the rock for a moment, and here we are.”
“Damn.”
“Yes.” Gandalf looks around. It’s nearly midnight by now, and the camp is deserted. “Galadriel?”
“Yes?”

When Gellert Grindelwald escapes prison after getting a vision of Dumbledore's death, he learns that Hogwarts is looking for yet another Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. But with Albus more suspicious than ever and the Ministry determined to get its talons into Hogwarts, how long can he hide his identity?
