    Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.

    Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

    At the end of the world, Touya finds himself saved by glowing green eyes and a blindingly bright grin, a hand held out to him in his time of need. There's not much left aside from Izuku and Touya, the two of them against a country-turned-warzone. They only have each other, and Touya can't help it. He can't help the devotion that blossoms in him, the love that claws its way up his throat and threatens to strangle him. The need to be near, and touch, and--

    Touya is never going to take that risk, that chance of losing Izuku if he makes one misstep too daunting. But them Izuku almost dies, and suddenly they're hurtled into a past with a chance to save everyone and settle down somewhere safe, where they can be secure and together. And really, Touya just can't help himself.
