“I'm worried about Tim.”
Dick signs the words to Jason furtively, glancing up through the surface at the littlest mer in their pod to check that he isn’t looking their way.
Jason follows his gaze, frowning.
They're in one of the upper pools, above ground in the Manor’s generous courtyard. Tim is curled up on a smooth rock feature above the surface, napping in the rare Gotham summer sun. To Jason's eyes, he looks perfectly fine. Content.

Jason and Tim’s first kiss is a violent thing.
He’s not sure which of them starts it. He thinks it might have been him who shoved Tim against the grimy alley wall, but with the way the omega is kissing back like he’s aiming to draw blood, his memory isn’t very reliable at the moment.
Sirens approach, blue and red flashing through the alley as the car shoots past their hiding spot heading in the direction they just came.
No one is looking for them, but Jason hunches over Tim reflexively, pressing him harder against the wall as he hides him from the lights.
Tim’s chest rises and falls quickly against his. His hands are on Jason’s waist, fingers hooked into the sides of his utility belt. His hair is mussed, falling in loose strands out of his ponytail. There’s a bruise blossoming across his jaw, a smear of blood at the edge of his lip from the blow causing him to bite his own tongue.
Jason tastes iron. He licks his fangs, jaw aching with the urge to bite.
“Oh, that got to you, didn’t it?” Tim breathes, his eyes big and black in the darkness. He sounds delighted. “You like watching me get beat up? Imagining it was you again?”

He opens his eyes, and stares up at the canopy of the four poster bed he's in. It takes a second, his vision is a bit blurry, but it clears up quick enough.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
Four seconds.
Part of Jason keeps the count going, while the rest of him kind of just...seizes. Because he knows this canopy. He knows the the posts it's attached to. He—fuck—he knows the notch in the bottom left post he'd put in it when he'd stolen one of Bruce's batarangs when he was twelve and thrown it around like the stupid kid he'd been.
This was Jason's room.
Or, the one where Jason gets zapped with magic, wakes up in his teenage body, and decides to let the timeline know exactly how fucked it is. He also becomes the president of the Tim Drake Appreciation Club.

Summary
Tim Drake leads a...mostly normal life, helping people get the best insurance they can afford. Soon though, he finds himself embroiled in a plot that involves Robin trying to take him down, and Batgirl possibly helping. Add to the mix Red Hood using him for information, and a strange young man walking into his office under false pretenses, Tim finds that his mostly normal life is about to completely change.
Tim knew there were worse jobs in Gotham than insurance agent, but he’s hard pressed to think of another at the moment. As he shoots off an email to a client about looking into their claim asap, he hears the glass door to the small insurance office open and watches Stephanie Brown,the goddamn Batgirl, walk into the agency and catch his eye. He puts 'masked vigilante' at the top of the list.
