The only reason he kept that kid around at all was the 100K he’d been promised at summer’s end. That's what he needs - money. Money to buy the best, damn fighter bot out there.

Summary
No one in the world was born equal. Luckily for him, Katsuki Bakugo was born at the top. He had it all – the money, training and sheer arrogance that created the backbone of a Formula One driver. They could all complain about the rookie’s narcissistic attitude and the constant scowl on his face, but the fact was that he had the lap times to back it up. The championship was his game to win.
It was all going to plan.
He was going to be the best there ever was.Until the incident.
Two fractured arms. Two years off the grid.Formula One moved on without him. He thought he could leave it behind. He was done.
However, Katsuki had a problem. His addiction to adrenaline. The glory of battle on the circuits. The title of ‘World Champion’. Worst of all, he made a promise. He was going to win. So, with an auspicious opportunity meeting him at his doorstep and his past haunting him, the question remains – does he have what it takes to fulfill his promise?
Or, will his desire for speed be overridden by the intrusive doubts whispering around in his head?
