Izuku is back in his hometown and plenty hasn't changed much from the 8 years he was gone. Except, Katsuki Bakugou, the alpha king of their small town. He's hotter- because that's fair, right, God? -, stronger, a now-famous pro fighter, and noticeably nicer this round.
Not that he cares, pfft.
Ha, Izuku Midoriya caring about Katsuki Bakugou, thinking he's pretty cute and not half bad once you get past the asshole persona; though that gargantuan ego of his could take a dive off a very tall cliff.

Izuku sighed as he figured he may as well bring his thoughts full-circle. He was about to close his notebook when his thoughts took a different turn. He’s been so self-deprecating in most of his entries. No. It’s time for a change. He needs to focus on himself.

“But you are!” Suddenly his vision was filled with bright yellow.
Izuku shrieked, trying not to throw himself off his perch. “E-excuse me?”
“I think you are very attractive,” honey colored eyes roamed over Izuku’s startled form, “and not just because of that gorgeous singing voice.”
“Singing?” Izuku began to panic internally, “...but I wasn’t-”
“Hey, man, don’t be so modest!” The stranger rested his hand on Izuku’s shoulder, “I like it. Your voice is so raw, so emotional so-” he gasped, gripping Izuku’s shoulder tighter in the process, “so perfect!” The blond released his shoulder and jumped up and down.
“P-perfect? For what, exactly?” Izuku stared at the boy, perplexed and guarded.

These are not words Katsuki Bakugou ever thought he would hear. Especially since the blond wasn’t aware he was in love with anyone. He cared about the dumb extras in his class, yes, but couldn’t pinpoint a singular person that he truly loved. He’s never been in love before, so it takes him a while to figure out who it is.
“Oi, Kirishima.”
“What’s up bro?”
“Kiss me.”
“What?!”
“Kiss me so I stop barfing up flowers and shit.”
“You love me?!”
“No, dumbass. I want to kiss because I don’t want anything to do with you.”

Somewhere that could make him look like a hero, while causing havoc and mayhem with his help?
