“Ivan…” Till had kept repeating, starting around the time the sun was starting to rise already. They had spent at least an hour on the call already and only then did its purpose start to actually happen: Till was getting lulled to sleep.
“Yes, Till?” Ivan had patiently replied each time, just to show he was there, probably not expecting anything substantial, unaware that Till was swallowing down a bunch of desperate questions.

This was the stupid thing about creating in reaction to everything: the things a person would want to keep to themself will keep bleeding into their work even when they want to keep their feelings settled deep down for once in their life.
Just because it seemed like Till had a chance with Ivan did not mean Ivan would want Till like that. Till really needed to get a grip on himself and stop falling for his friends. It was pathetic.

Ivan is smiling at his phone. Well, no, that sounds ridiculous, dishonest, and dishonorable, as he is actually smiling at the picture of Till, which he accesses through his phone. Not any old picture. A recently sent one.

‘I’ve been blessed. Thank you for sending me this. Can I get a second angle’

‘Please’He doesn’t even try to hide his desperation. Believe it or not, Till gave him permission. He has permission to “yearn in plain sight.” Till said so thrice so far throughout their three-week-long established relationship. The last time was about a week ago, so that means it hasn’t expired yet. Till said it makes him happy when he’s like this. Let him be the desperate simp of a boyfriend that Till deserves.
