the lore so far, so nobody gets lost:
nathan walker is an fbi agent who was sent in to interview christopher langley, a serial killer. he's one narcissistic, cold-hearted SOB, and a tough nut to crack, but walker agrees to talk to him anyway. they eventually get on and spend years talking to each other and sending each other letters. their relationship is strange and complicated, but it doesn't truly bother either of them. the fbi keeps them talking as long as langley can provide them with information on the psyche and mindset of a serial murderer (perhaps at the cost of walker's own mental stability), but it's all fine- until chris escapes.- Words:
