I scoff. “As much as I’d like to, I don’t think that’s an appropriate thing to do right now, considering my physical situation.”
He chuckles and raises his eyebrows at me, amused by my crude humor, as always. Then he nudges my injured shoulder, pulling up the fabric. “Not for that, silly. I need to clean your cuts.”
I move to stand up and take it off, but he guides my back against the mirror.

She straightened, then hugged me again- on the left side, this time. She’d always said that she preferred hugging on the left side, because the two people’s hearts were closer and connected better that way. I’d never believed it until now.

I watch Shailene carefully as she speaks to the interviewer, rambling on about how great of a "friend" I am. I almost want to laugh. I force the memory of last night- of how her lips tasted, how we woke up, tangled in the cheap hotel bedsheets, and how she awoke me with a kiss on my cheek and her fingers on my chest- out of my mind.
For a moment, I wonder if she'll drop a hint.
She'd just gone off on a tangent, talked about how our good personal friendship led to their onscreen romance.
Bullshit.But I don't fucking care.

I've kissed him before. Plenty of times. It took a lot of filming to get the first Tris and Four kiss right. I always felt butterflies in my stomach when he kissed me on set, but I thought it was just because I was in tune with Tris's emotions. But this isn't Tris. This is me. And it's not like butterflies, instead it feels like a cage of crows was set loose in my stomach, and they're fighting, clawing their way through my chest to escape.

I raise an eyebrow at him. “Do you know me at all, James?” I tease.
He smirks, stepping closer until his hands rest on my hips. “I think I do,” he says, his voice hushed. As if to prove his point, he leans forward, tilting his head, and attaching his lips on the skin directly below my ear- something he knows drives me crazy.
Theo's hands continue to roam my body, massaging my hips and stomach softly. He flicks his tongue against my earlobe and I can sense that he's grinning when my breath hitches.
“Yeah, I definitely know you,” he mutters against my collarbone. -
