Well, up until the day he’s forced to take the Dark Mark. Actually, his regular life is terrible enough to make up a lot of Worst Days. If not for Barty and Evan, he probably would have given up a long time ago. Still, this day ranks among his top five Worst Days at the very least.

Regulus Black is drowning in his parents expectations, his brothers rejection, and unrequited love for one James Potter. Evan and Barty are all he's got. Then everything goes wrong. But at least they'll remember him fondly for this, right?
