   Summary

   Inara, a simple farmgirl, is out hunting one autumn when she finds a strange blue stone in a burning crater. Fascinated, she takes the stone back home, thinking of selling it. Before too long however the stone hatches, and out comes a dragon, upending her once simple life. This sets her on a long and dangerous journey, one that takes her to every corner of the world and into the struggles of a great war, one she must fight to win lest the world be swallowed forever in darkness.

   A complete rewrite of the Inheritance Cycle, and a thorough reconstruction of the world of Alagaësia, all with a female protagonist.
