pheonix1710 asked: There this thing in my head since the last time someone mentioned that B is pregnant again :) :Bruce Wayne is expecting again. The paparazzi caught him and his baby boy(idk I always have the feeling C&B's first child will be a boy -_- silly me) on the street. The photo of him being beautiful while carrying and his gorgeous baby cause some gossips like:'BW is even more beautiful when he's pregnant','BW and his adorable son in the Gotham's sunshine'... :) forgive me! Part 2: Cause the baby is so beautiful the tabloid started to gossip about how good-looking the baby's father must be. Well it's just Clark and his tall frame, washboard abs, no body fat, with his alien blue eyes look at you like you are the most important thing. You know, normal daddy Clark. P/s: sorry for bothering you with these. They are a beautiful family and I have to get it out.

BRUCE WAYNE EXPECTING SECOND CHILD WITH REPORTER HUSBAND.

Gotham’s Prince was spotted today with a very unmistakable baby bump while shopping at Jezebel Plaza together with four-year-old son Richard, his first child with the Daily Planet reporter. It seems like Richard has taken a liking to comic books since they were seen exiting Blaze Comics bookstore with Richard holding the latest issue of Wendy The Werewolf Stalker.

Our favorite Prince was sporting not his usual Armani from head to toe, but a comfortable pair of loose pants, a dark gray poncho, and some Birkenstock sandals. Little Richard was as usual, the most dapper four-year-old in Gotham, wearing stone washed jeans, a tennis shirt, a jacket, and Gucci loafers.

The philanthropist looks even more radiant with child, and son Richard is getting more and more handsome, possibly looking just like daddy. Omega Wayne’s been very private about the identity of his alpha husband, but we are sure he’s good looking enough to sweep us off our feet, too.

The pair have not taken to announcing their celebrations through social media, since Richard’s birth five years ago and his marriage to the reporter a year before that sent Gotham into total shock. Most of Wayne’s media accounts are run by his PR and contain news and photos about the milestones of Wayne Enterprises, and his charity work and philanthropy, but we’re hoping that will change. Bruce, share with us your beautiful family, please!

Comments

  • dudewithnostyle: That four-year-old has more style than I ever will.
  • wetwipes: Looking good, Bruce!
  • BlondViking: Since when does Gucci make shoes for toddlers? Those shoes are to die for.
  • goodbyekitty: How exciting! Congratulations to the both of them.
  • friedDumplings: Maybe it’s better that his husband stays out of the limelight. The dude’s got a job, you know.
  • momof5: How the hell does he make a poncho look fucking good oh my god the injustice
  • somedude: how is this news wtf
    • bigbird replied: pretty sure the dude who provides free healthcare to the whole city always has a place in the news.
  • catdog: Good job, Bruce! Starting them early with the comic books!
  • hotwings: I knew Wayne was a closet nerd!

Bruce Wayne glows at the GBC Gala!
[Start Gallery]

Bruce Wayne seems to be taking the omega maternity fashion sphere by storm! Today on the red carpet of the 32nd Annual GBC Gala at the Cyrus Pinkney Institute for Natural History, the again expecting omega mother looked radiant as ever as he slayed in head-to-toe Tom Ford, a change from the usual Armani. The crisp untucked navy dress shirt and custom open front black batwing coat looked as stylish as it is comfortable, just somewhat hiding that growing baby bump.

His son Richard, however, stole the red carpet as he strode in with mom in his own tiny Tom Ford suit that could give even James Bond a run for his money. The stylish four-year-old charmed both red carpeters and the media alike as he waved and smiled.

Bruce’s husband of course was absent and was probably with the rest of us in the sea of reporters, but Mr. Wayne did bring a date: his childhood friend and also fellow philanthropist, Dr. Thomas Elliot, owner of Elliot Memorial Hospital.

Joining our Prince on the carpet was the owner of GBC himself, Alan Scott, with husband Sam Zhao, who personally welcomed his son and Dr. Elliot to the carpet.

Big names from other cities attended the gala as well, such as Lex Luthor of LexCorp Metropolis who looked dashing in Hugo Boss as he smirked at the cameras. Cat Grant of National City’s CatCo., also in attendance, wowed in a red off shoulder mermaid gown from Prada. Veronica Cale of Cale-Anderson Pharmaceuticals dazzled guests in v-cut, long sleeved black dress by Alexander McQueen. And Oliver Queen and wife Dinah Lance of Queen Industries of Star City, both looked effortlessly chic in Versace.

Along with big corporate names, personalities leading the top and most advanced research laboratories in the US were also in attendance, such as Dr. Harrison Wells of STAR Labs and Dr. Tina McGee of Mercury Labs. Both laboratories are based in Central City.

Attendees of the 32nd annual GBC Gala are celebrating Bruce Wayne’s acceptance of Gotham City’s Humanitarian Award two weeks ago in recognition of his philanthropy and charity work for the more unfortunate citizens of the city, and will be joining an auction to raise funds for the benefit of Gotham Museum of Antiquities, the Cyrus Pinkney Institute for Natural History, and the Martha Wayne Foundation.

The 32nd annual GBC Gala is possible with its partnership with Soder Cola and Wayne Enterprises, with the participation of the Cyrus Pinkney Institute for Natural History.

  • sweetnsour: that slit in Dinah Lance’s dress holy shit Angelina Jolie you better run.
  • unicorncandy: Luthor’s head is still brighter than my future fml
  • singleanddesperate: IS DR. ELLIOT SINGLE??
  • rottenegg: if all the big people are here, where’s Cobblepot? Doesn’t he own the museum?
    • redhead: Gotham’s city government now owns the museum since Cobblepot can’t afford the upkeep. Bruce holds fundraisers for its upkeep.
    • lostboy replied: that’s asking for trouble. You know that douchebag hates Wayne for being prettier, richer, and all around better person.
    • pikachu: Cobblepot might be a big name, he’s got an attitude worse than Ferris Boyle. I’m disgusted that both pieces of shit even got invited to Bruce’s acceptance ceremony.
    • Teddy replied: I’d rather him far, far away from Bruce and his sweet, adorable baby.
      • Cattykit replied: Dr. Elliot can beat the shit out of that creep if he tries to get anywhere near Bruce or Richard!
  • momof5: this gives me reasons why I need to get tiny suits for my kids, too. then pretend we’re on the red carpet.

Description: Bruce Wayne shares with us his thoughts on the award, and then little Richard steals Gotham’s heart away.

“Hi, Mr. Wayne!”

Bruce adjusts his coat while Dr. Elliot, carrying Richard, moves to the side to talk with the reporter to the right. “Please call me Bruce,”

“Hi, Bruce!”

“Hi, good evening,” Bruce smiles.

“I’m Billy Batson for Whiz Radio News. It’s so great to meet you!”

Billy offers the microphone to Bruce. “It’s great to meet you, too! Are you doing this for the YouTube channel?”

“Yes, yes, I am,” Billy laughs from behind the camera. “You look stunning tonight! Not wearing Armani tonight, though?”

“Thank you! You’re looking quite dashing yourself, Mr. Batson. But honestly, Richard said he wanted to come with me to the party and be James Bond, so the best way I can let him be James Bond is to let him wear Tom Ford,”

“I maybe dashing, but not as dashing as Richard,”

“You both have your place on the runway, Mr. Batson,” Bruce chuckles.

“So what’s it like being celebrated for your humanitarian efforts? But you don’t only do philanthropy in Gotham City, you’ve also been helping with the food and water shortages, and of course getting people to safety in war torn Qurac and Bialya,”

“Well, I never really expected anything in return for helping my fellow citizens. I have more than enough and I love sharing it with them. Thank you so much, Gotham, for recognizing the help I give to you. It’s an honor to help you,” Bruce cups his belly, and rubs the underside of the swelling midsection. “And I never wanted anyone to know I’ve been helping the people of Qurac and Bialya, but still, you know how the media is. I haven’t gone back there in a while since Richard’s been born and of course I’ve got another one on board, but I still send help and still try to help with the peace talks. I would love to go back and meet the people—they’re so beautiful and kind, and like everybody else, they deserve a life of peace,”

“Speaking of another one on board, is it a boy or a girl?”

Bruce narrows his eyes at the reporter in faux annoyance. “I’m kidding,” he laughs. “We don’t know yet. We want to be surprised,”

“Any ideas on the room color?”

“We painted Richard’s nursery green, but recently he’s been into blue, so he’s moving into a blue room,” answers Bruce. “So baby’s getting a green nursery,”

“We’ll be seeing a rise in green nurseries, aren’t we?”

Bruce laughs again. “Oh goodness, people think I’m a trendsetter, but really, I’m not,”

Dr. Elliot comes into view, holding Richard who’s reaching for Bruce. “Mommy!” says Richard.

“Hi, sweetheart,” Bruce gently plucks the child from Dr. Elliot’s arms and gathers him in his. “Richard, say hi to the nice reporter,”

“Daddy?” Richard looks past the reporter in front of them and searches for someone in the crowd.

“No, it’s not Daddy,” answers Bruce.

“Isn’t he just adorable!” says Billy.

“Say hi, sweetheart,” says Bruce again.

“Hello!” Richard gives Billy a big smile. “I’m four!”

“Yes, you are four!” Billy chuckles.

Richard turns to Bruce. “I love you, Mommy,” he kisses Bruce on the cheek.

“Aww, I love you too,” Bruce kisses Richard’s temple as the child tries to hug him.

“Thank you so much, Bruce,” says Billy.

“And thank you, too, Mr. Batson, have a good night!” Bruce waves goodbye as Dr. Elliot herds him off to the center of the carpet.

Chapter 3

Summary:

I’ve been planning this for a long time, and I only got around to writing it late yesterday night before going to bed and finished it in about two hours tonight. I got bit by the writing bug and the plot bunny wouldn’t go away so I just wrote and wrote and it got bigger and longer than I anticipated. I really, really, hope you like it, and I hope it makes sense. And I hope it’s any good. xD this is the longest chapter yet.

Modern Omega Magazine

[cover: Bruce lounging on the sofa wearing white, with Richard on his lap, both smiling and effortlessly beautiful in the living room of his penthouse]

[text: Gotham’s Prince sits down with an up close and personal chat]

Bruce is nothing short of stunning as he steps out to meet the MO staff for an exclusive private interview in his penthouse in downtown Gotham. He greets everyone with a smile and a handshake. Servers in gray uniforms step into the living room with trays of fruit parfaits for the MO staff. The food looks absolutely lovely, and for a moment it seemed as if the interview would be heading to the kitchen. As expected, even something as simple as a fruit parfait is culinary heaven.

Gotham is forever thankful to this generous Prince who never tires of sharing his blessings with her citizens. Now, Modern Omega has an exclusive tell-all interview with Gotham’s biggest star, Bruce Wayne.

Bruce: Good morning! Has everybody had breakfast? It’s a bit late, I know, but I’ve got some yoghurt parfaits coming out for everyone. We can’t start hungry, now can we?

MO: Oh, Bruce, you really didn’t have to, but thank you.

Bruce: Ask for seconds, okay? We’ve got a lot. But save some room for lunch. We’ve got quite the spread and I hope you’ll enjoy it. I hope the traffic wasn’t too much for you and your equipment.

MO: Not at all, but who am I kidding?

Bruce: [laughs] Just a little bit more patience and time, and our new and improved public transport will be available to use soon.

MO: How’s the construction going?

Bruce: I’ve been on a few check-ins and all I have to say is that I’m excited for everybody to try it out. I wanted it to be faster and more energy efficient, and the fare cheaper. And with a little arrangement from the local government, we added some more stations in farther and impoverished areas such as those living at the edge of Park Row, and in more populated areas, such as the Thomas Elliott Memorial Hospital, so that jobs and healthcare can be accessed by everybody.

MO: That’s amazing. You’ve really thought this out.

Bruce: My mate and I had been ironing it out for years with an urban planner and a civil engineer to make sure it’s achievable and not just a plan on blueprint. And I really do hope you like our new trains.

MO: Speaking of blueprints and plans, thank you for making time for us today.

Bruce: You’re very welcome and I, too, have to thank you for considering me as your cover.

MO: It’s an honor to have you as our cover!

Bruce: Gotham is probably tired of my face! Are you sure this will sell?

MO: We’ll never get tired of you, and of course this will sell! I’m already calling it, they’ll ask for a second print.

Bruce: I hope so!

MO: Again, thank you for having us. I’m sure you’re supposed to be somewhere more important than entertain us today.

Bruce: Yes, my son’s morning bath. [laughs]

MO: Aaw! Will little Richard be joining us later?

Bruce: Maybe, when he’s not cranky.

MO: Okay, so we genuinely want to know how do you manage work and caring for Richard?

Bruce: It’s not easy, I’ll tell you that. As much as possible, my mate and I try to do everything ourselves and I’m thankful he’s always been there every step of the way. We’ve both got jobs, but we always make time for each other and for Richard no matter how stressful it gets at work. For the time being, I work from home and don’t work as many hours, so I’ve got a lot more time with Richard and I enjoy having him at a moment’s reach. But do believe that it’s a struggle to manage our time between family and work, especially since Richard is still so small and I’m pregnant again, and leading a company as large and far reaching as WE is difficult even with so many talented people helping manage it. My mate and I don’t want to rely on nannies, and however grateful we are to Alfred and those who support our household, we want to be hands-on with our children.

MO: Do you have any advice for working parents?

Bruce: Don’t be afraid to have a support system or ask for help. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but my mate’s parents have been monumental in their support. Not just because I can ask them to look after Richard when my mate and I have too much work to sort through, or when I’m feeling too under the weather because of the pregnancy, but because of their advice and their reassurances that we’re being good parents, that we’re doing well, that they found it just as difficult as they did, and we’re not ruining our child’s life. New parents don’t get to hear that often.

MO: They really don’t. I sure would’ve loved to have heard that when I was struggling with my newborn.

Bruce: Right? Because at times you can’t stop those thoughts and feelings of inadequacy, those what ifs that aren’t really true. ‘What if I’m not doing a good job,’ or ‘What if he grows up resenting me,’ or even, ‘Do I even know what I’m doing?’ And I felt helpless when I couldn’t figure out why Richard was crying or what he wanted, and it is your support system, your mate, your parents, your mate’s parents, or people who have more experience than you, and of course your doctors, that can help you.

MO: It’s never a walk in the park for anyone. I think some people are afraid to ask for help in fear of judgement. Now you’ve been under the spotlight your entire life, always under scrutiny and judged. How’s that affected you?

Bruce: I cried. I cried a lot when I was younger. It was and still is hurtful. When I learned how to use the internet, I looked up myself and needless to say it was something I swore to never do again. I got angry and I wanted to know why I deserved such cruel words. I’m still learning how to handle what I hear or read. I try not to go online. I don’t think I’m mature enough, or emotionally ready to handle such vulnerability. Now I try to brush off what is said of me, they can say whatever they want about me, but it will truly break my heart to read such vile things about my mate or my babies, or how I mother my children. Maybe in time I can overcome it.

MO: Have you tried fighting back? Most celebrities nowadays aren’t afraid of calling people out on their nonsense. Vicki Vale isn’t one to mince words when it comes to her critics.

Bruce: Oh, no. I’ve come close to, but Alfred always talked me out of it. He always said nothing good will come out to retaliation and that it’s a waste of time and effort, and when I was young it didn’t make sense to me yet. I wanted to hurt them back. Maybe more so than they’ve hurt me, because I couldn’t and didn’t understand how someone I’ve never met, someone who knew nothing about me, could have such vicious words.

MO: Do you want to address these people now?

Bruce: They’re not worth the time. Though I do hope they like the new trains.

MO: Circling back to the roots of our trains, your father had them built. He was also a doctor, and he wasn’t the chairman of Wayne Enterprises, was he?

Bruce: No, he owned the company but he worked in hospital. I always wanted to become a doctor like my father. However, when I didn’t like where William Earle, the former CEO of Wayne Enterprises who took charge when I was underage, was leading the company. I went on to study engineering and business instead and got back the company.

MO: Why didn’t you become a doctor like you wanted?

Bruce: I wanted to keep the legacy of my parents alive. What Earle was doing wasn’t what my father would have wanted. So I may not be a doctor but I try to open as many free clinics as I can. And of course, the Martha Wayne Foundation is there to help orphans and the abused find safe homes, and the Thomas Wayne Foundation to help fund those with graver medical needs. I do also donate to Tommy’s hospital because there are always people to help.

MO: Is there anything you can’t do?

Bruce: Please everyone.

MO: Point taken.

Bruce: Oh, and a work-life balance! I swear, I do try.

MO: Related question. Is there anything you couldn’t do but learned to?

Bruce: When my mate and I first met, before we started dating, I used to be a little stuck up, a huge jerk. Oh my, this is going to turn into a story about how we met!

MO: Please do go on!

Bruce: I’m telling you now that it’s not that magical or interesting. We actually started off on the wrong foot. He was assigned to interview me about opening a public library and study hall in Metropolis, near Metropolis University. I didn’t like what his words implied, and I might have insulted and walked out on him, and got him in trouble at work.

MO: Is that interview available for us to read? Maybe Gotham can finally get a glimpse of Alpha Wayne?

Bruce: [laughs] I knew you’d ask that. I asked the newspaper to hold the article and it was never published and instead had my PR send them something to print.

MO: Surely your mate was devastated when you basically cancelled his article.

Bruce: He was and at that time I really didn’t think about it! For a moment I didn’t think about the repercussions of what I’d done. Like I said I was still stuck up and I hated and dismissed anyone who was within a hairline of saying or asking anything I didn’t want to hear or answer. I was a big jerk.

MO: It seems like he had the worst first impression. Is it safe to say you are the last person anyone should make a bad impression on?

Bruce: Oh, no, don’t say that. People change. And apparently that first impression didn’t last because we’re about to have our second child. [laughs]

MO: [laughs] True!

Bruce: What made me change my mind about him—and I was absolutely livid with him—is that he came to see me at our satellite office in Metropolis the very next day and apologized, even though I’d insulted him! He had a single pink stargazer lily and it was in a small, plastic, turquoise pot! Nobody had ever given me such sincere flowers before. He looked like kicked puppy, poor thing. I accepted his apology and we had lunch.

MO: He’s the sweetest thing! Not all alphas would admit mistakes like that.

Bruce: He is! I kept the pot and it’s in my office here in Gotham. I was upset when the lily died, so he got me another lily to plant in the pot. It’s always had stargazer lilies ever since. He would often comment on how much I scowled at paperwork, and make me laugh. When we weren’t together, I’d look at the lily and smile. I honestly believe I was lost with how rarely I smiled. But he made me look forward to spending time with him, and for the longest time I never looked forward to anything. That’s what I couldn’t do before and have learned to do now. Look forward. Finding joy in the small things and being grateful—spending time with him and our son, kisses in the morning, hearing Richard learn a new word, Alfred’s birthday, our birthdays, getting greeted in the street and greeting them back, a new day. I’m grateful every day.

MO: Why do you say you couldn’t look forward to, or find joy in, and be grateful for anything before?

Bruce: I was gray. When my parents died, I withdrew from society and became a workaholic and I’m happy to say I’ve overcome that with a lot of help from Alfred, who, bless his beautiful heart, has been there through thick and thin, my psych doctors and therapists, my mate, my friends, and surprisingly, those in my employ. I was a jerk to everybody and I’ve shed many tears of, and offered many words of joy and gratitude for those who thought I was still worth their time, love, effort, and friendship at my lowest. I like to think I treat everybody kindlier now. And I look forward to life. I used to think my birthdays are just one more year closer to me joining my parents and thankfully I don’t think that way anymore. I have too much to live for now.

MO: It is quite difficult to look forward to anything when you’ve lost so much. And like you, there are some who deal with their grief by turning to work and seclusion.

Bruce: There is so much more to life than working. Though I do know that for some there is no choice in that, and I’m sorry to say something so insensitive, but I am trying my best to help Gotham provide more stable jobs for its citizens, so that they have more time with their family.

MO: Do you still see your therapists?

Bruce: Of course! She is a gift to me and I’ll forever cherish her. It is my experience in emotional and mental health that also pushed me to put more effort in making psychological help available to those who need it.

MO: Okay, next question. Everybody wants to be you. How did you break that glass ceiling over omegas?

Bruce: I sent Mr. Earle a memo, for starters.

MO: Really? That’s a bit radical!

Bruce: Not when he tried to tarnish my parents’ names. That’s the first thing I did. I don’t know, or remember if this made the papers. I know I pissed off a huge chunk of our PR for causing such a ruckus. But I do remember being told I was an omega that didn’t know his place.

MO: No, I don’t believe this was in any paper.

Bruce: He was a disgusting alpha who thought he could control me. And then I did a management review with our human resources across all divisions and countries, and threw away the dynamic requirement and preference. Anybody can be hired and promoted, whether you’re an alpha, beta, or omega, as long as you have the skills. And of course, severe consequences to those who commit sexual harassment. I wasn’t having any of that ‘alphas will be alphas’ nonsense.

MO: Were there any members of your board that objected to this company wide change?

Bruce: Not if they wanted the same memo. A few left, but most stayed and agreed with my vision.

MO: Was it difficult to implement something so drastic?

Bruce: It was, definitely. Many quit but even more joined us. But it improved with time. We’re still improving. And I still try to find ways to making working for WE and all of its divisions and subsidiaries rewarding for all.

MO: It was a big thing a few years ago when you raised the maternity leave for mothers to six months, with a month transferable to paternity leave for fathers regardless of dynamic.

Bruce: Yes! I was absolutely delighted to have been finally able to give that to WE. And should we continue to grow, I will push and fight harder to give new parents more time for their newborns.

MO: Speaking of newborns, how about your unborn, Bruce? Doing well, I hope!

Bruce: The baby is healthy. We had a visit to the doctor yesterday and they’re on the right track, size, with all their fingers and toes, but it’s been dreadful. Non-stop nausea and I’m so picky with food, it’s frustrating. This? This is all makeup and your lighting is making me look well rested, but if I wipe off this concealer, I swear, I look like I haven’t slept in weeks, and I really haven’t had proper sleep in a while!

MO: Was it the same way with Richard?

Bruce: Totally different. The nausea wasn’t as bad and I can’t recall any food that I disagreed with, however, I ate nothing but cereal. I loved it.

MO: Cereal?

Bruce: Yes! You name it, whatever’s in the cereal aisle, we had it and I just had to choose one out of a number of boxes. But I know I must have eaten pounds and pounds of Krocky Krunch. That was my absolutely weakness. I had to eat a bowl every time I saw the box in the kitchen, or munch on it without milk whenever I think I caught the smell of chocolate.

MO: Were you able to manage it? Some can’t resist the call of the craving.

Bruce: My mate managed it. He was a hawk! We got a glucometer to make sure I wasn’t giving myself diabetes because of all that cereal, and an automatic blood pressure monitor so we could do it ourselves when Alfred can’t. He had to control the food because it was way too unhealthy.

MO: What about now? Any cravings?

Bruce: Burgers! Sometimes I would wake up at two in the morning and ask him to go to Big Belly Burger for me. I love it with extra pickles and caramelized onions. He and Alfred limit my intake because that’s still unhealthy, and though Richard was perfect when he arrived, I won’t do the same with this one. As much as possible, veggies and fruits.

MO: I know what you mean. You really can’t help it. I’d bawl if I didn’t get what I wanted.

Bruce: You really can’t. I’d be really upset when my mate would deny me the second cereal bowl of the day, or when I ask for more fries. But he always reminds me that I eat, the baby eats.

MO: Was it difficult to get your body back after you gave birth to Richard?

Bruce: Of course! But I didn’t force myself to lose the weight I gained with the pregnancy. And it was a lot! I focused on Richard. There’s nothing else but Richard to focus on. I may have had too much sugar when I was pregnant with him but I took care of what I eat when he breastfed from me. There’s a lot of stigma around post-pregnancy bodies, about how you should try your best to lose the weight and look good again so your mate wouldn’t lose interest in you.

MO: So many celebrities are quick to post photos of after-baby bodies. Do you think that does more harm than good?

Bruce: There are pros and cons. People aspire to live the lifestyles of these celebrities. Eat their food, have their things, do what they do, have their body. I think you should take care of yourself and your baby first. If your reason for losing that weight as fast as you possibly can after your baby arrives is what people will think of your body or your mate’s knot, you need to sort out your priorities. Other people’s opinion or likes and reactions, or your mate’s knot shouldn’t matter at all when your baby comes out. That knot, no matter how good it feels, no matter how many times it made you orgasm your brains out, does not get a say when you’re a day post-birth with a swollen uterus wearing adult diapers because of post birth bleeding, breastfeeding your newborn baby. My mate isn’t bonded with me because he likes my body on his knot. We are bonded we because we love each other.

MO: It’s true that social media has bridged some gap between celebrities and their fans. It’s good that they can hear from those to admire them, but at times it can be a bit problematic.

Bruce: It is, yes. However, I do believe you should take care of yourself. It is important to keep yourself at the recommended weight. Which is why I am thankful I found my mate. He takes care of me and I love him so much.

MO: You’re making us blush!

Bruce: But really, he’s more than I deserve and he means the world to me.

Richard: MOMMY!

Bruce: Hello, my darling. Say hi to the nice journalist.

Richard, in soft denim dungarees, a white undershirt, and blue Nike sneakers, gives the MO staff a quick wave and tries to hide in his mother’s bosom. There is a collective aww from the room.

Richard: Mommy.

MO: Isn’t he just adorable!

Bruce: He is when he’s not cranky.

MO: Well, Bruce, thank you so much for your stories! We’ve learned a great deal about you, and we hope to sit down and chat more with you in the future.

Bruce: Of course! It was absolutely lovely.

Notes:

Places are all according to Arkham Knight. Gotham City according to the game has three islands: Miagani, Bleake, and Founders'. These islands are connected by four bridges, Mercy bridge from Bleake Island to Miagani Island, Penitence Bridge and Salvation Bridge from Miagani Island to Founders' Island. And Perdition Bridge from Founders' Island to Bleake Island.

Wayne Tower is on Miagani Island, hence, Miagani Flowers. Noggin's Books and Sharpe's Bookies are also bookstores on Miagani Island in the game. Larcey's Department Store is also a shop in the game on Miagani Island. I OPENED THE GAME AND DROVE AROUND FOR 30 MINS LOOKING FOR SHOPS DO I TAKE THIS FANFIC TOO SERIOUSLY??

GOTHAM GAZETTE

EXCLUSIVE: Bruce Wayne says he’s fine after hospital stay

MIAGANI ISLAND – Gotham’s Bruce Wayne spent a fortnight in the hospital following a rushed trip to the emergency room, but is out now and is doing fine, says his public relations officer, Sasha Bordeaux.

“He’s doing well, has gone home with his mate, and is recovering. He’s received all of your love through letters, gifts, and flowers that flooded Elliot Memorial and is eternally grateful and thankful,” says Bordeaux through a Skype call with Gotham Gazette editor, Mario Ito. “For now, would like spend all of his time with his family. He’d like to address you when he’s fully recovered. We ask everybody to please respect his privacy. Thank you,”

Omega Wayne had been in the middle of a charity function held by fellow philanthropist Dr. Thomas Elliot when he was rushed to Elliot Memorial for an undisclosed diagnosis. In a recent interview published by Modern Omega, Mr. Wayne had given a little indication of his health during his current pregnancy.

Bordeaux has also said that Mr. Wayne has taken a leave from work and will not be engaging in any public appearances any time soon and until his health is stable.

tagged: bruce wayne, baby, news, photos

Gotham socialite and close friend of Bruce Wayne, Veronica Vreeland (@ronnievree), today tweeted photo of Wayne holding his newborn son. This is the first contact Wayne has had with the public since his PR officer Sasha Bordeaux gave a statement about his release from the hospital two weeks after he was rushed to the emergency room.

According to the tweet, the newborn alpha, named Jason Peter, was born premature and 12 weeks early. The child is now a healthy three-month-old.

Chapter 9

Notes:

Rutger Hauer, the Dutch actor who played William Earle, the mean CEO from Batman Begins died last week. This is for him.

I wanted to post some news somewhat unrelated to Bruce and his family. He's an "antagonist" in this story and in Batman Begins and the people in this story don't like him doesn't mean I'm putting him in bad light. I just wanted to post something for him.

RIP Rutger Hauer. Your talent is boundless, your artistry will be remembered.

Chapter Text

Wayne Enterprises announces with a heavy heart that after battling illness, on July 19, 20XX, former CEO William Earle passed away peacefully in his Gotham home. He was 75.

William Earle was one of the driving forces behind the exponential growth and development of WE. His time and dedication with WE will be forever cherished. He and the memories he left will be unforgettable.

Twitter:

@chilicheese: heavy heart my butt .@WE downplaying William Earle’s bullshit 🙄 if u read bruce’s interview with modern omega he had real beef with that sexist pig.

@postit: @chilicheese .@WE they said his time & dedication is cherished but he & his memories there will be unforgettable. didnt say they were good memories 😂

@kook: he did let WE grow tho, just not how thomas wayne would’ve wanted

@clockodile: @kook omg remember it made the news when bruce shut down the weapons department earle had put up! that wasnt supposed to make the news but someone blew the whistle! 1/2

@clockodile: thomas wayne was a fucking DOCTOR tryna save lives and there he was using his company to MAKE GUNS. the AUDACITY of this bitch. good riddance bye felicia 2/2

@bluesora: @kook @clockodile i was in one of the wayne foundation shelters while he was ceo and we almost got kicked out cos he literally pulled out all the funding!! the shelter administration were running the homes with their own money!! 😢 1/2

@bluesora: but issok now cos bruce is funding everything again and im trying to donate now too to give back and help someone else 2/2

@angiethomps: but remember guys!! if not for william earle’s greed, WE wouldnt have grown far beyond what it was!! bruce is just giving gotham what earle refused to give in the first place!

@r4inbo: @angiethomps yeah but still bruce’s charity work wouldnt have screeched to a halt if not for him. a lot of people suffered. bruce is the one making up for earle’s shit.

@fatbunn1: guys guys @postit has a point tho, his work will be remembered bc he did make .@WE grow, maybe not for the better & not how papa wayne would have wanted however that growth gave bruce the power resources & capability to do what he’s doing now. 1/2

@fatbunn1: bruce can do MORE now bc of him. so maybe .@WE is choosing to look the positive effects he had on the company & not look at his greed. 2/2

@denhunter95: THIS 🙌 [retweeted @fatbunn1’s tweet: bruce can do MORE now bc of him. so maybe .@WE is choosing to look the positive effects he had on the company & not look at his greed. 2/2]

Notes:

Man, I had to reinstall Arkham Origins and play it for about 20 minutes just so I could roam around Jezebel Plaza (a mall in Gotham) and look for something Bruce could do that that warrants an article on some tabloid online (though he could probably shit in his own home and it’d be tabloid article worthy).
