Chapter Text
Taehyung sighed as he rubbed his face, going in the club. He needed a drink, and he needed one bad . His two shifts had really taken all his energy out, and his stress level along with exams, don’t even get him started.
He had a fake I.D, but it was done well, so he could get in any club he wanted. Right now, he was in a very large and expensive club, where he could pick pocket a drunk person easily. He ordered a martini, and looked around the room, looking for someone easy. The crowd was dancing, hips rocking against a strangers everywhere. Drunk people making out in corners, and other passed out drunk on the side.
Taehyung grinned and thanked the bartender for his drink and sipped from it, moaning softly at the burn. He really needed this. His eye drifted over the dance floor, trying to find someone rich and fucked up. There was one guy that caught his eye, but Taehyung wasn’t here to find a hookup, no, he was only here for money. His rent was coming, not to mention the people he owed money to wanted the money, and he didn’t have it. And he knew what happened to those who didn’t pay them on time.
Taehyung sipped his drink slowly, trying to find someone. He would check the bathrooms first, there was always people passed out in there. Taehyung took in the last bit of his drink and checked his watch for the time. A little passed midnight, but he didn’t have school, nor work until the late afternoon.
Perfect.
Taehyung slapped money on the table when he finished his drink, making his way to the bathroom. He ignored the moans and slapping of skin as he searched the bathroom. Three, no, four. He grinned, Jackpot.
Taehyung made sure that no one was around him, kicking the first man a few times. The man groaned, but didn’t wake, and Taehyung deemed him good. He put on his gloves and searched the man’s pockets, finding a very fat wallet. He nearly screamed in joy.
Easily, $2,000, cash. He tucked it in his pocket before looking at the man's wallet. He saw an I.D, and read the name, Park Jimin. Taehyung chuckled quietly as he tucked the wallet back in Jimin’s pocket. “Sorry Jimin, but I kinda want to live.” Taehyung muttered to himself as he moved onto the next person. Not much cash, maybe $300, but then again, it was quite stupid to have so much cash on him.
The moans had stopped, and Taehyung rushed, quickly swiping $670 from the next two men. He left quietly, his pocket feeling heavy, with $2,970 cash. Taehyung hummed to himself as he walked passed the dance floor, uninterested in anything until he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Taehyung stiffened and a shiver of fear went down his spine. He turned around stiffly, trying to relax as he looked at the person who grabbed him. It was the man he was eyeing earlier from the dance floor.
“Where do you think you’re going?” The man's dark voice made Taehyung’s heart froze. Was he caught? “W-What?” Taehyung stuttered, he never stuttered. Maybe it was fear of being caught or the man's dark gaze as he raked over Taehyung’s body, he wasn’t sure. “You don't think I wouldn’t notice?” The man snaked a strong arm around his waist, pulling Taehyung’s smaller frame against his more muscular one.
“Notice what?” Taehyung asked nervously, eyes flicking everywhere but his eyes. “The way you were eyeing me earlier. Don’t deny it, you want me.” The man’s cocky smirk made Taehyung flush. “You’re pores are sleeping with overconfidence, you're a cocky bastard, aren't you?” Taehyung was now realized that he wasn't getting caught, but he really did need to leave. The man shrugged, licking his plush lips.
“What can I say? With a handsome face like mine, and a very nice body, how can I not?” The man was starting to get on Taehyung’s nerves. He hated people like this, cocky, rich, fucking hot , he probably had it easy, sleeping with money and using it as firewood. Taehyung rolled his eyes and tried to get away, but the man didn’t let go. “Let me go,” Taehyung said, looking at the man's face with murder in his eyes while the other had eyes full of amusement.
“Fine,” The man sighed, letting his grip loose before gripping Taehyung before he could leave.
“But I gotta ask,” Taehyung rolled his eyes, playfully placing his arms over the man's shoulder, playing along.
“That’s a pretty full wallet for someone who doesn't eat.”
Not a question, a statement. Taehyung stiffened, and he knew he was in trouble.
He let his arms fall from the man's shoulders and remained silent for too long as he tried to come up with a reason. The man smirked and tightened his grip on Taehyung’s waist, making him flinch back.
His heart was pounding in his head and his hands began to feel clammy. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Taehyung muttered, hands gripping the fabric of the boys shirt. “Really? Cause it seems to me like you know exactly what I’m talking about.” The man’s voice dropped, full-on serious. “You better let me go.” Taehyung warned, not like how the arm around his waist was feeling, bringing up unwanted memories . “Or what?” The man challenged.
“ I’ll fucking freak on you because you're fucking triggering my PTSD.” Taehyung hissed, the large room feeling smaller. The man knew he was serious and let him go instantly.
Taehyung bent over, hands on his knees, trying to calm himself. The man stood there confused, before reaching out to touch Taehyung’s back. “No touch.” Taehyung spoke brokenly, panting, closing his eyes. He needed to get out of here. He shakily walked out, leaning against the wall, and ignoring the man following him.
He got outside, and breathed in the fresh air. Taehyung kept muttering reassurances to himself, trying to tell himself that he wasn’t back there and he was safe. Mostly. The man stood awkwardly, frowning at Taehyung. “What the fuck do you want?” Taehyung asked, looking at the man.
“I’m a fucking whore, okay? I just got paid now leave me alone.” Taehyung lied, but he seemed upset, so it worked. The man eyed Taehyung again, knowing that something was off. “What’s your name?” The man asked instead.
“I don’t give my name to strangers who don't fuck off .” Taehyung growled.
The man smirked. “I'll tell you my name.”
“I don't give a shit about your-”
“Golden Boy.”
Taehyung froze, looking at the ground. Please tell me that I didn’t just hear that Taehyung thought. But it was true, because anyone who would pretend to be Golden boy would be killed in the next few hours by the very hitman himself.
“You gotta be kidding me.” Taehyung whimpered as he finally took in the mans face and clothing. A casual dress, black ripped jeans with a black shirt tucked into his pants, a Gucci belt around his waist, the material defienty made from God’s shit or something. The tattoo on his arm was the symbol of BTS, which was two trapezoids facing each other with the longest ends facing each other, kind of looking like a door.
Only BTS members would get it, and if someone got it that wasn’t part of the group, one of the members would personally skin the tattoo off.
Taehyung looked up to see his smirking face, large eyes, black hair and red lips. Taehyung swallowed. He just insulted the worlds most feared hitman. “Oh my god, please don’t kill me.” Taehyung said, feeling too vulnerable for his own good. On the verge of slipping into dissociation, a panic attack and wanting to cry.
Not good.
Not good.
Not good.
Not good.
Not good.
“I’m not going to kill you as long as you give me the truth.” Jeongguk- his real name- said darkly as he stepped towards Taehyung making the younger stepped back. “I-I can’t tell you because, I’ll be killed by them if I say anything.” Taehyung rambled on as Jeongguk appeared closer to him.
“But I really will freak on you.” Taehyung added, and Jeongguk nodded. “I know that look very well and I know not to test it.” Taehyung gulped, barely breathing from fear.
“Anyways, you took the money?” Taehyung remained silent, before nodding softly. “From how many people?”
“Why does it matter? Compare to what you do, this is nothing. I’m doing this to survive so stop playing with me. If you want to kill me, then go do it. If you don’t leave me alone .” Taehyung said bitterly. Jeongguk remained silent, and Taehyung knew that he crossed a line that he could never get back from.
Then, Jeongguk walked away, going back in the club. Taehyung stood there, shaking waiting for a bullet to go between his eyes. When one didn’t, Taehyung looked around to see if anyone was around him, waiting.
Taehyung’s sharp eyes didn’t spot anything, and he walked back to his car, his knees giving out a few times. Taehyung’s shaky hands tried to put the key in the lock so he could unlock it. His fear of someone getting him rose as he stood alone in the darkness. He dropped his keys, cursing.
His eyes were getting wet, completely terrified. Taehyung picked up the keys and went to put them in again, but screamed when he saw a dark silhouette in the windows reflection, showing what was behind him.
Instead of turning around and going to fight the bastard like he always do, his mind instantly turned into one of a child’s and he dropped to the ground, covering his neck and head with his hands whimpering in fear.
“Get the fuck up, I’m not going to hurt you.” Jeongguk’s voice was behind him and he slowly turned his head to see Jeongguk’s pissed off expression. Taehyung remained where he was, not moving an inch. Jeongguk sighed sharply and grabbed Taehyung’s arm, pulling him up.
Taehyung’s knees buckled as he stood up and was turned around so he was facing the hitman. Jeongguk lifted his other hand up, and Taehyung flinched back violently, head bumping against his car. Jeongguk watched him under a strong gaze, before pulling out from his back pocket his wallet.
“Cash or credit?” Jeongguk sighed as he opened his thick wallet. Taehyung tilted his head to the side. “What?” He asked quietly, confused, but coming to again. “The people you’re paying, what do they take?” Jeongguk groaned, too tired to deal with him right now.
“C-cash, why-” Taehyung began to question, but was cut short as Jeongguk pulled out 30 a hundred dollar bills. He hands them to Taehyung, but shoved them in his pocket when Taehyung didn’t move.
Taehyung frowned as he looked at his pocket that was now stuffed with cash. “Why?” Taehyung whispered. Jeongguk sighed and didn’t answer.
“Where do you live?” Taehyung didn’t really want to answer. Afterall, he was talking to the worlds most feared hitman, not even the FBI wanted to mess with him. “Look you could just tell me, or I could find you. It doesn’t really matter, but you’ll just be taking up time if I need to figure it out myself.” Jeongguk said, crossing his arms and shifting, setting more weight on one leg than the other.
Taehyung swallowed, weighing his options. He could always move… “And even if you were to run away, I would still find you. I always find them.” Jeongguk reminded him. Taehyung sighed and told the hitman his address.
Jeongguk nodded and looked at the car behind him. “Will you be okay to drive home?” Taehyung nodded his head hesitantly. Jeongguk bobbed his head to nonexistent music and walked away. Taehyung stood there frozen before shouting out, “Kim Taehyung, thats my name!” Jeongguk turned around and nodded his head, as if he was saying thank you.
Taehyung was confused. No, confused was an understatement. He was astonished at what had just happened.
Taehyung blinked a few times before looking at the ground for his keys. He found them and picked them up, unlocking the car with steady hands and turned the car on. He sat down and took out the cash he was, staring at it for a long time. 5,970$ . Taehyung never had this much money before. He would save 50$ for food, and give the rest to Wiheom, which literally meant danger . Taehyung called them.
It rang and rang until Taehyung thought they wouldn’t answer, but they picked up.
“Taehyung, my boy. You either have good or bad news, and I do hope you have good news.” The voice darkened and Taehyung shifted uncomfortably. He eyed the money before responding.
“I can make a payment.”
“That’s a good boy Taehyung. I’ll be there in the morning to pick it up.” And hung up. Taehyung let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding and relax. Everything was somewhat okay, besides the creepy hitman, he would be okay. He would get food tomorrow and finally eat something other than cheap ramen.
Taehyung smiled to himself as he drive home, at peace in a way. He was still very aware that the hitman could kill him. He reached his shitty apartment, and parked the car, bring the money with him and tucking it in his pockets he locked the car.
He lived on the top floor of the apartment building, which was less expensive for some reason, but then again he didn’t really care because it was near his college.
He was a art student, but he knew that he was very behind in his work, and he was wasting precious money when he didn’t go to school. He might need to drop out and he really didn’t want to do that. He really enjoyed drawing and painting, but he hasn't been able to do it in months. It was just too expensive, and he could barely afford something like food.
Taehyung sighed as he unlocked the door to his apartment, taking his shoes off and collapsing on the small couch. He couldn’t afford a bed, so all he had was a couch, and roll up mattress, a pillow and blanket.
You would think that between two jobs and stealing money that he would be to support himself a little bit, but unfonunelty, nothing was really looking up for him yet. His stomach growled in the quiet, dark room. He tried his best not to use electricity, taking candles and lighters from stores to give himself light.
Heat and AC wasn’t really an option, but it didn’t really matter because he would work constantly so he was provided with AC or heat, a bathroom and food sometimes. He really should drop out of college, but a part of him didn’t want to. Taehyung got up and walked to the fridge to see if he could make something with bread and beer.
Taehyung gasped when he saw the fridge was full . Bread, meat, condiments like ketchup, mustard, relish, hot sauce, milk and butter, vegetables and fruits, water and juice. Taehyung was in awe of how much food was in there. He doesnt think a time in his life where he had a full fridge before.
Taehyung was going through the food when he saw a note on his countertop with a knife in it. It was an ordinary knife, from his kitchen. He grabbed the knife and pulled it out of the old wooden countertop and note and read it.
I’m not just someone who kills people, but I also help them
~GB
P.S, check the drawer if you haven't yet. <3
Taehyung rubbed his eyes to see if that really was a heart. Taehyung giggled, feeling like a highschool girl. He ran over to the drawers and saw it was filled with expensive ramen, sweets and chips. Another note laid on top of the snacks.
Didn’t know what you liked, so I got all of them. Enjoy, you deserve it
~GB
Taehyung didn’t know what he meant by “you deserve it”, but honestly he wasn’t complaining. Taehyung went back to the fridge and pulled out udon noodles and set water to boil. He decided to make Kalguksu, some nice warm soup. Taehyung licked his lips as he pulled out a kitchen knife and took out some the needed ingredients.
Taehyung sighed as he sat in the candle lit room, stomach full and warm, and empty bowl with dirty chopsticks on the ground. There was leftovers, and he would probably eat the rest tomorrow. Taehyung closed his eyes, feeling drowsy and content.
“Ow fuck.” Taehyung snapped his eyes open and searched the room to find where the voice came from. Taehyung stood up slowly and walked to where his new knife was. Jeongguk stumbled out of his “room”, tripping over nothing, dusting himself off. “What the fuck .” Taehyung screeched, looking at the hitman.
“Do I even want to know?” Taehyung mumbled, walking back to his couch. Jeongguk walked over to him like he didn’t trip over nothing and walked in the kitchen. He came back with a full bowl and chopsticks. “Yes Mr. Hitman, break into my apartment and feed yourself.” Taehyung said sarcastically.
Jeongguk ignored him and walked over to the small couch. “Scoot over.” Taehyung raised an eyebrow, but did as he was told. Jeongguk sat down close to him, thighs brushing against each others, and his elbow bumped into Taehyung’s a few times. “This is good,” Jeongguk said, slurping up the noodles. Taehyung hummed, tired.
“Why is it so dark? Turn on the lights.” Jeongguk said, getting up to turn the lights on. Taehyung winced at the brightness and glared at him. “I keep the lights off so I don't need to pay for unnecessary things.” Taehyung retorted. Jeongguk frowned but said nothing as he sat down beside Taehyung again, and continued eating.
“Did I get you enough food?” Jeongguk asked once he was done the bowl. “ You bought me it?” Taehyung said, surprised. “Who else?” Jeongguk frowned and Taehyung shrugged. “Not a hitman.” Taehyung replied snarky. Jeongguk glared at him, and Taehyung gulped. “And I didn’t break in,” Jeongguk argued. “Mm,” Taehyung hummed, picking at something in his nails.
“I was setting up your bed.” Taehyung looked up and stared at his face. “Stop that.” Taehyung said angry. “Stop what?” Jeongguk asked, truly curious. “Stop giving me stuff. It's creepy and I don’t like owing people favours or money so leave me alone.” Taehyung barked out, picking up his bowl and walking to the kitchen to set it in the sink.
“You don’t need to owe me anything. Well, you could at least be nice to me.” Jeongguk grumbled, walking to the kitchen with his own bowl in hand. Taehyung watched as he set the bowl gently and turned on the water. Taehyung’s eye twitched. “Who do you think pays the water bill?” Taehyung barked out. Jeongguk looked at him straight in the eye. “I do now.” Taehyung shoved him away.
“Get out.” Taehyung shoved him again and Jeongguk let him. Taehyung knew that the hitman could easily stop him, but he didn't. “Get out!” Taehyung yelled grabbing a bowl from the sink, water still running, and throwing it at Jeongguk’s head. He dogged it easily, hearing the bowl smash into the wall.
“ OUT!” Taehyung yelled getting ready to grab the other one. Jeongguk stepped in front of him, grabbing both of his wrists in one hand and keeping them down. “Calm, Taehyung.” Jeongguk ordered and Taehyung fell to his knees in shock. “Why? Why me?” Taehyung looked up at him with teary eyes, wrists still on his hand.
“Who knows?” Jeongguk shrugged, and walked out. He popped his head in the door to tell him one more thing. “I’ll pop by in the morning. Sleep well, Kim.” And left. Taehyung sat there shocked, sitting back on his heels, and hugged himself. Taehyung sniffed and stayed there for a minute before standing up.
He turned the water off, and looked at the broken bowl on the ground. He sighed and walked to his room to see what else the man had put in there. A giant double was in the middle of the room with frames and everything.
A set of pjs laid there, folded on the bed. Taehyung felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He saw that he had a text from an unknown number.
Unknown: take a shower too, i got everything u need
Taehyung walked to the bathroom carefully, like there would be a trapped. There wasn't and he turned on the light. Jeongguk true to his word, had gotten his body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Taehyung sighed as he looked around for cameras, but found none.
He walked back into his room and went to the closet where he kept a chest full of money. He emptied his pocket of the money and added it to his 2,000$ that he earned from his jobs. He locked it and hid it underneath his clothing, walking out of the shower.
He stripped and turned on the shower. He normally would ignore whatever someone did something like this, and if it wasn’t Jeongguk, he would have thrown out all the food and told them to fuck off. But because it was Jeongguk, he didn’t want to turn it down for some reason. He hopped in the shower, moaning at the heat from water.
He took a hot shower, and he felt like he was going to fall asleep soon. He washed his hair, rubbing his scalp. When he stepped out, the mirror was fogged up, and he wiped it away with his hand, staring at himself. He looked tired, but there was a high flush on cheeks from the heat. His skin was red, but it felt good.
He dried his hair and body, walking out with a towel around his waist, He looked around his room, before settling his gaze on the pjs that Jeongguk had gotten him. He put them on quickly, sighing at the silkyness.
He went to the living room to turn off the lights and lock the door, not like that really mattered, and and grabbed a small box of chocolates and heading to his room. He sat down, but felt something hard and bumpy underneath the covers. He took off the blankets and gasped, giant and small canvases with high quality paint and brushes laid before him.
Taehyung touched over the artistic accessories like it would break underneath his touch. Taehyung smiled, when was the last time he painted? Taehyung got out of bed and stripped down and put on his painting clothes. He grinned, he was going to be up for a while.
-
Knock Knock Knock
Taehyung grinned, thinking it was Jeongguk. He ran to the door, and was met with a member of Wiheom, Taemin. His smile fell from his lips, and he straightened his back. “Hello,” Taehyung greeted, bowing at 90 o . Taemin glared at him, eyes raking over the paint.
“Painting, are we?” Taehyung nodded. “I’ll be right back with the money.” Taehyung said, walking to his room and unlocking his chest.
His room was a mess from painting, but the ideas that he had for months, he finally painted. He cleaned his hands and grabbed the money. He walked through the kitchen and his heart stopped when Taemin was looking in his fridge. “Really Taehyung? So you spend money on food when you could've given us the money?” Taemin’s dark voice made Taehyung step back.
“What? No, no, no, I-I didn’t buy it! M-My friend got me it, I-I swear!” Taehyung stammered, stepping back further as Taemin stepped towards him. He grabbed the money from Taehyung and counted it. Taehyung gulped, knowing from experience that this was not going to end good.
“You see Taehyung, easily , you could have given us, mmm, around 400$ more if you just didn’t spend it on this .” Taemin gestured to the fridge. Taemin walked towards Taehyung, pocketing the money, and swinging his fist. Taehyung knew he could’ve ducked, he didn’t, letting Taemin’s first make contact with his face. Taehyung rolled his weight so he didn’t drop.
Taemin was clearly mad, and the only thing Taehyung could do was be his punching bag. Taemin hit him again, and again. Taehyung fell to the floor when his stomach was hit. He groan silently, looking up at Taemin. He kneed his face, and left. Taehyung fell back, back hitting the wall. He groaned and spit out the blood from his mouth, onto the floor.
He got back up on unsteady legs and grabbed an ice pack from the freezer. He winced as he placed it on his face, already throbbing. He walked over to the living room, shutting the fridge, and sitting on the couch.
Five minutes later, he heard the door opening and shutting. He heard sniffling, and he knew if wasn’t Taemin again. Jeongguk. He watched Jeongguk look in the kitchen first, and seeing the blood before calling his name out. Taehyung whined, not wanting to talk. Jeongguk looked in the living room and saw Taehyung’s face bruising already.
Jeongguk ran over to him, taking the ice pack off to check the bruises out. Jeongguk felt something in his stomach, anger. Pure white-hot anger, wanting to destroy whoever did this. Jeongguk felt his own shock from his feelings, never feeling like this with anyone else before.
“You okay?” Jeongguk asked, and Taehyung glared at him for asking the stupid question. “Right sorry. What happened?” Jeongguk’s soft voice made Taehyung shiver. “Because of you, and the food you bought, he thought that I bought it and told me that I shouldn’t have spent it money on food and given him the money.” Taehyung said softly, feeling Jeongguk’s rough fingers lightly run across his cheek, before taking Taehyung’s hand off the ice pack and holding it there himself. “Fuck, I’m sorry, I should've guessed.” Jeongguk cursed himself for being dumb.
“No, its my fault, I should've thrown out the food.” Taehyung said closing his eyes. Jeongguk felt his stomach turn. “No, next time, I’ll make sure that this won’t happen again.” Jeongguk tried to reassure him. “Oh hush, this is barely a scratch. I should be grateful that this was all he did.” Taehyung mumbled, feeling tired. Jeongguk frowned when he said that.
“I see that you painted.” Jeongguk said, changing the subject. Taehyung smiled when he said that. “I did, I didn’t sleep at all, I painted all night. Thank you for the art supplies.” Jeongguk was mesmerized by his smile.
Granted it wasn’t a full smile, it was small, but Jeongguk wanted to see more. “Want to show me?” Jeongguk asked, and Taehyung agreed, getting up, but feeling dizzy, so he stumbled slightly. Jeongguk steadied him, and helped him to the bedroom.
“Wow you made a mess of the place.” Jeongguk joked and Taehyung huffed. He walked over to where the paintings were drying and looked over them.
“Wow Tae, these are, really nice.” Jeongguk was honestly impressed with his work. One was a old carousel, and on the banner was the words, forever young . In was in the middle of nowhere, but a man was standing beside it, looking up at it. ( Here )
Another painting was a flower, very details to the least point. There were raindrops on the purple petals, and if Jeongguk could look very closely, he swore he saw his reflection. ( Here )
The last one was a purple sky, and rocky hills. There was a small line where people would walk, and it was stacked up like a pyramid, so little indents where the path was, wrapping around the mountain. ( Here )
“These are amazing.” Jeongguk breathed out, looking over every detail. “Thanks, but you’re the one who got the materials for me.” Taehyung said, blushing at the praise. No one had ever told him his artwork was good, so hearing it from a hitman, who probably has been invited to many art galleries, called his art good.
Taehyung yawned and watched as Jeongguk stared at the art. Taehyung felt his face numb enough, and took the ice pack off. “I’m going to go change.” Taehyung murmured, changing into his new pjs.
Jeongguk watch Taehyung walk away, and come back not a minute later in the pjs. He watched Taehyung close the dark drapes, making it completely dark in the room. Taehyung patted the bed, trying to find where he put the ice pack.
He jumped when he felt Jeongguk move behind him, not hearing him move at all. Jeongguk turned Taehyung around, and placed his arm underneath Taehyung’s head, bringing it to his shoulder. He gently placed the ice pack on Taehyung’s blackening eye.
“What are you doing?” Taehyung asked, stiff. “I’m staying here with you.” Jeongguk said, putting the blankets above them, pulling it up to their chests. “But- why in my bed?” Taehyung asked, blushing.
“I’m tired too.” Jeongguk said, as if that would explain everything. Taehyung felt his eyes close against his will, and he could smell was Jeongguk, musky like smoke, but sweet like cotton candy. Taehyung shifted closer to Jeongguk, turning his body so it was facing him. Taehyung placed his face in his neck, breathing in the scent. He felt dizzy, too tired to stay awake.
--
It's been two weeks since the whole thing happened, his bruises had faded and he’s eating plenty too. Taehyung had been going back to school, and he’s been trying really hard to get all the work he’s miss, done and handed. He explained to the teacher that he was having difficulty in the beginning, but things were looking better, so he would try and get things to date. His teacher agreed to extend all the work for a months time. But if he didn’t have one thing done, he would fail the course. Taehyung nodded, and thanked his teacher many times.
Jeongguk… Jeongguk was Jeongguk. He would come by the apartment every now and then to drop off some groceries, and just to crash sometimes. Taehyung was still very effy to be around him, but he knew he couldn’t do anything about that. Jeongguk was nice, for the most part, but Taehyung would constantly test his patience.
But Jeongguk knew what the other was trying to do; he was trying to get him to leave for good, trying to annoy him to the point where he would leave. But there was also another reason too, it was to test Jeongguk’s limits and what he would do if his buttons were pushed. Taehyung was expecting things to do flying, insults to be thrown, and punches to be swung, like it always happened. But it didn’t and Taehyung was very confused.
But he wasn’t complaining, he guessed. Taehyung really didn’t know how to act around a fucking hitman , so he was either very rude, very shy, or very nice. And to say the least Taehyung was very aware of how attractive the man was, so he tended to not look right him, that, and because his gaze was really strong and intense, so Taehyung once threw a pillow at him when they made eye contact for too long.
Taehyung sighed, thanking the bartender for his drink. He was at the same bar again, not to steal money to get laid because he was deprived . He would normally fuck girls, just because it wouldn’t set off bad memories. Find, fuck, leave and repeat, was basically what Taehyung was doing tonight. But first, he needed to get a drink. Well, more like three, but who was counting?
Not Taehyung.
He ordered the strongest shots possible, getting drunk real fast after having two. He was a really heavy weight, due to his past, so it took a lot to get him shit faced. Taehyung slurred for one more, no longer sober enough to walk straight.
The bartender looked at him worriedly from the amount he was consuming, but gave him another. He grabbed the drink and tilted his head back, slamming the glass down and ordering another one.
“I think you should take it easy bud, you took a lot.” The bartender said, wiping down some glasses. “Come on pretty boy, I’m not drunk enough yet.” Taehyung said, words falling from his mouth. The bartender frowned when Taehyung called him that. Taehyung huffed when he wasn’t getting anywhere with him, and stumbled to the dance floor.
It was hot and the smell of sweat was in Taehyung’s nose, but he moved to the middle and started to move his hips to the music. Not too soon, he felt a girl wrap her skinny arms around Taehyung’s neck, before turning around and grinding her ass on Taehyung’s dick. Taehyung grinned, and he gripped her hip, moving their bodies to the music. Taehyung gave opened-mouth kisses to her neck, her back arching.
She turned around to kiss him, but backed away for some reason, bowing and leaving hurriedly. Taehyung whipped around and was met with a muscular chest. He looked up, glaring at the hitman that chase away his dinner. “Fuck you. Why did ya do that?” Taehyung slurred losing his balance but finding it quickly. He pushed Jeongguk’s chest, but the other didn’t move a bit. “Why you here anyways?” Taehyung asked, slurring.
“I own this place, my headquarters are underneath this place.” Jeongguk said, thinking that Taehyung would’ve figured it out. “Oh~” Taehyung said, looking around the floor for another person. Taehyung found a girl dancing by herself, and he smirked walking towards her, but stopped when he felt a strong grip on his arm. “Where do you think you’re going?” Jeongguk’s deep voice made Taehyung look back. “I’m gonna go get fuckin’ laid.” Taehyung barked back, trying to shake Jeongguk’s hand off him, but it only tightened.
Jeongguk knew that something terrible happened to Taehyung when he was younger, but it wasn’t explained in his file, skipping years ahead to the age 14. There was no family, or place where he was born, so Jeongguk could only think that he was kidnapped, or his parents gave him away as soon as he was born or something .
“You’re not going anywhere.” Jeongguk said, pulling Taehyung away. Taehyung whined and dug his nails into the hand hold him, but it didn’t even budge. He even bit it, and Jeongguk didn’t even look back. Taehyung huffed and sat down, letting his weight keep him from being pulled.
Jeongguk sighed sharply when he looked back and saw Taehyung sitting on the dirty floor, looking like a child throwing a tantrum. Jeongguk stooped low, and grabbed Taehyung’s hips, throwing him over his shoulder. Taehyung whined and hit his back, trying to get Jeongguk to let him down.
“Seokjin-hyung, I’m off. I won’t be back until morning. I gotta take this idiot home.” Jeongguk said, showing Taehyung. “Bye Mr. Bartender, I’ll be back soon~” Taehyung waved at him, but Jeongguk huffed. “You’re not going anywhere.” Jeongguk said, walking out the door. He walked over to Taehyung’s car and opened it, setting Taehyung inside and buckling his seatbelt. He grabbed his keys from Taehyung’s pocket. He shut the door and walked around, trying to open it, but it didn’t work.
He looked inside, and saw Taehyung playful expression, his fingers on the lock and unlock button. Jeongguk closed his eyes, trying to compose himself and clicked the button to open the door. Taehyung locked it instantly.
They looked at each other through the window, Taehyung giggling drunkenly while Jeongguk was glaring at him. He tried two more times, but the third time, he clicked the lock button instead of the unlock, the sound making Taehyung lock it twice, and Jeongguk swiftly unlocked the door, opening it.
“You little shit I’ll fucking dump your body in a river.” Jeongguk hissed, sitting down and turning the car on. Taehyung giggled, and watched as the car started to move. Taehyung seemed to forget his anger and unbuckled his seatbelt, and climbed over his seat to palm Jeongguk’s cock. The car swerved, and he grabbed Taehyung’s wrist. “I’m not doing this while you’re drunk.” He said through his clenched jaw.
Taehyung bit his lip and placed his knee on the thing between seats, and hopped over it, straddling Jeongguk’s hips. The car swerved again, but this time it was because of Taehyung hitting the wheel, turning it a bit. “Fuck Taehyung, get back in your seat.” Jeongugk demanded, switching hands with driving so the one closest to the door was holding Taehyung.
Taehyung hummed kissing along his neck and jawline. Jeongguk made sure that Taehyung never blocked his view of the road, but it didn’t help with the fact that he was distracted. Taehyung was giving him hickeys, while rocking his hips into his.
“Taehyung stop. ” The tone in his voice made Taehyung still, even drunk he knew that he was going to get his ass whooped if he went any further. Taehyung grumbled, and rubbed his face in the assassin’s neck, getting comfortable. Jeongguk sighed in relief, and gently rubbed Taehyung’s back as the other snuggled down. They were silent, almost at Taehyung’s apartment. They reached it, and Jeongguk opened the door, telling Taehyung to get off.
The latter said nothing, and didn’t move, only making himself more comfortable. Jeongguk sighed and undid his seatbelt, getting a good grip on the still drunk Taehyung and lifting him out of the car with him still attached. Jeongguk shifted him a few times, making sure he wouldn’t fall and placing an arm underneath his ass to support him.
Taehyung’s legs didn’t move staying by his side, making it all the more difficult. Jeongguk groaned and shut the door with his free hand, locking it and going inside the building, and walked to the elevator and stepped in it when it opened.
There was a old lady there, judging his neck now filled with red hickeys that will turn purple by tomorrow, and the man in his arms. But the women stiffened when he set gaze on his tattoo, and set her gaze on the ground. Jeongguk pressed the button for the top floor and leaned against the wall, still holding Taehyung up.
“You still awake?” He nudged Taehyung, and the boy lifted his head before setting it down. Almost asleep then Jeongguk thought, shifting from foot to foot when Taehyung’s floor was next. He pushed himself off the wall and let the lady walk out first, and then stepping out himself, grabbing his own keys to unlock the door.
He got his own set of keys because Taehyung didn’t want to fix a broken door knob everytime Jeongguk came, so he just gave him the spare key. He unlocked it and went to Taehyung’s room, and dropped him on the bed.
“Fuck you.” Taehyung moaned rolling around. “You stink, wanna take a bath or a shower?” Jeongguk asked, taking Taehyung’s jacket off. Taehyung grumbled, dead weight in Jeongguk’s arms. “If you want to take a shower, you’re going to need to stand up, but if you take a bath you might drown.” Jeongguk bit his lip, trying to think of a way for Taehyung to not smell like cheap perfume.
“You don't have anything tomorrow but work in the afternoon,” Jeongguk reminded himself, looking over Taehyung’s sprawled out form on the bed. “It’s still early, so I can try to sober you up a bit,” Taehyung only rolled off the bed, a thump followed by a “ow”. Jeongguk snorted and walked to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water and a banana.
He walked back to the room, Taehyung still in the position, not having moved an inch. Jeongguk nudged Taehyung as he sat down beside him. Taehyung groaned and sat up with the help of the other, blinking owlishly.
Jeongguk uncapped the bottle and pressed it to his chapped lips. Taehyung drank, hand coming up halfway before dropping down and letting Jeongguk do what he wanted. When Jeongguk thought that was enough, not wanting Taehyung to drink too much to throw up, he peeled the banana, taking a bite for himself before pressing in against Taehyung’s lips. Taehyung on any other day would shove Jeongguk away, and tell him to fuck off and that he can feed himself.
But he was drunk and tired, so he let Jeongguk do what he wanted. Taehyung opened his mouth and bit it, chewing tiredly. He really didn’t want to eat, but he was already sobering up a bit, and he wanted to take a shower, feeling greasy and disgusting. Jeongguk watched as he took the last bit, and let Taehyung have a little more water before going to throw out the peel.
He came back and they lazed around while Taehyung sobered up enough to be able to stand in the shower. Jeongguk went to the bathroom real quick, and took a glance in the mirror, heart fluttering at the sight of the already darkening hickeys.
He sighed, knowing that he would get a lot of questions in the morning. There was a crash in the kitchen, and Jeongguk pulled his small pocket knife from his pocket, slowing moving towards the kitchen. He relaxed when it was only Taehyung, but really wanted to stabbed the boy when he saw that he had a secret stash of strong alcohol. There was a bottle of vodka in his hand, drinking from it.
There was a glass on the ground, probably something Taehyung just knocked over. “Are you fucking kidding me? Give me that,” Jeongguk swiped the bottle from the already drunk Taehyung, and took a sip himself. He cringed, and looked to see how much alcohol it contained. “88%! What the fuck Taehyung, Pincer Vodka is hella expensive, how did you even afford it?” Jeongguk asked, amazed that someone could drink that, nonetheless half the bottle in one go.
“Stole ittttt~” Taehyung hiccuped, smiling. “Of course you did.” Jeongguk grumbled, putting the bottle back in the cupboard and closing it. He picked Taehyung up and brought him to the bathroom.
“Strip, I’ll fucking wash you myself. It doesn't seem you’re going to sober up anytime soon.” Jeongguk said, dropping Taehyung on the closed toilet seat. “Mmm Kookie, didn’t know you were dominant.” Taehyung purred, taking his long sleeve off from the bottom. He got stuck in the shirt and Jeongguk rolled his eyes, helping him out.
Jeongguk’s eyes were wide as he looked over Taehyung’s front half. Pink and white scars ran up and down his arms, up until his elbow. Self harm, Jeongguk thought as he ran his eyes up and down both arms. Taehyung didn’t pay any mind to Jeongguk, attempting to unbuckle his belt. Jeongguk swallowed and made Taehyung stand up, going down in his knees so the other could lean on his shoulders while he removed the pants and boxers.
He paid no mind to Taehyung’s dick, that was right in front of his face, and helped Taehyung take his clothes off. More scars, but this time there were burn marks, and a very large scar was on his left thigh, small white holes around it. He got stitches , Jeongguk thought, gulping. Taehyung huffed as his foot got stuck, leaning most if his weight of Jeongguk’s shoulders and he tried to shake it off. Jeongguk helped him, and then stood up, jaw dropping when Taehyung turned around, showing his very very scarred back.
Deep jagged lines, and raised ones made the skin stand out, white and pink lines were scattered here and there. It was gross, the amount of scars overlapping each other. There was more on the back of his thighs, but not many.
“Holy fuck Taehyung. What happened to you?” Jeongguk gasped, fingers brushing against his back. Taehyung looked behind him, and looked at the hitman. “I was a bad boy.” Was all he said, making Jeongguk’s blood run cold.
He turned on the shower and waited for the water to warm up. Jeongguk gulped and stripped himself down, showing a few of his own scars around his body, but nothing like Taehyung’s. He stepped in with Taehyung and told him to kneel down. Taehyung obeyed, and stayed silent.
Jeongguk took the shower head and put it over Taehyung’s head, wetting his hair and body. Jeongguk did the same with himself, and put it back in its place, water spraying over both of them. Jeongguk’s eyes kept flickering down to Taehyung’s back as he poured shampoo in his hair and rubbed it in Taehyung’s scalp.
He flinched before leaning in his hands, sighing at the feeling. Jeongguk’s fingers worked quickly, but carefully, making sure not to put any in Taehyung's eyes. “Lean back,” Jeongguk whispered, barely over the water, but Taehyung heard it, and leaned his head back, staring up at Jeongguk. His ripped abdomen and thick thighs were die for. Taehyung looked up at Jeongguk’s eyes and smirked.
“Like what you see?” Jeongguk joked, but Taehyung hummed, shamelessly looking up and down his body. Jeongguk rolled his eyes, smiling softly as he washed out all the shampoo, and moved to conditioner.
As it set in his hair, Jeongguk moved onto body wash. He squirted it into his hand, and gently rubbed Taehyung’s body, spreading the body wash. His fingers were cleaning his back, every bump made his heart hurt. He moved to the front of his body and gently rubbed his neck to get it cleaned. Taehyung purred like a kitten, liking the soft and gentle touch of the other. Jeongguk felt Taehyung jump when he cleaned his dick, but there was no sexul movement intented.
Jeongguk then carefully washed away all the soap, and told Taehyung to turn around so he could clean his face. He carefully rubbed Taehyung’s face with his skin care, making sure not to miss any. He finished and Taehyung was squeaky clean.
“Can I wash you?” Taehyung pleaded, and Jeongguk couldn’t resist. Jeongguk nodded and him and Taehyung switched positions, him sitting on the ground and Taehyung standing up, wobbly but standing.
He did the exact same thing Jeongguk had done with him, but took longer, survey not subtly, running his hands over Jeongguk’s pecs and abs, mouth watering as he felt the ridges of his abs. Jeongguk stood up and made sure there wasn’t any soap or spots Taehyung had missed- there were a few- and turned the water off. Taehyung yawned and stepped out, Jeongguk looking at his ass this time. It was a nice ass, plump and full, but nothing like his friend, Jimin.
Jeongguk dried Taehyung as the other leaned onto him, nearly falling asleep. He told Taehyung to wait as he went and got clothing for them, Jeongguk only sneaking a pair of boxers for himself because he knew that he wouldn’t fit in Taehyung’s clothes comfortably. He was much broader and thicker than Taehyung, where he was all muscle, and Taehyung was all… not muscle.
He walked back and helped Taehyung get dressed, carrying him to the bedroom. Taehyung patted a spot beside him as he tucked himself underneath the cool sheets, looking up at him expectantly. Jeongguk sighed, he was tired too, and let himself slip in beside Taehyung.
Taehyung turned off the lights, and turned around, grabbing Jeongguk’s arm and making him wrap it around his waist, and pressed against Jeongguk’s front with his back. Jeongguk tightened his arm and brought him even closer, Taehyung shivering when he felt his hot breath on the back of his neck. Taehyung closed his eyes and fell asleep with the hitman behind him, spooning.
-
When Jeongguk woke up, he was woke up to the feeling of Taehyung jumping out of bed and not a second later he heard the sound of someone throwing up. Jeongguk groaned and sat up, going to the bathroom, finding Taehyung- unsurprisingly- throwing up in the toilet. He groaned, and Jeongguk kneeled back, patting his back in a way to comfort him.
Taehyung felt a hand snake it’s way too his forehead, and held up his head. Taehyung panted, feeling his mouth water again. He vomited again, feeling the acid burn his throat. He stayed there for a few more minutes, feeling like he wasn’t going to throw up anymore, and lifted his head to look at Jeongguk.
There was vomit on his chin, and Jeongguk wiped it with toilet paper, flushing the toilet and helping Taehyung stand up, and set him on the countertop. Taehyung looked confused as to why he was sitting on the counter, but didn’t say anything, just trying to keep whatever was left in his stomach down. Jeongguk didn’t turn the lights on, only keeping the door open to the natural light was enough to see that Taehyung looked like shit.
His face was puffy, his lips chapped and broken, eyes swollen, and there was a high flush against his cheeks. “Did we do anything last night? Or are those hickeys from someone else?” Taehyung asked, voice rough, studying the purple bruises on Jeongguk’s neck. “They’re from someone else.” Jeongguk lied smoothly, not wanting to tell Taehyung what happened.
Jeongguk grabbed the toothpaste, and put some on the toothbrush, wetting it and bringing it to Taehyung mouth. “I can do it.” Taehyung grumbled as he tried to reach for the toothbrush, but Jeongguk pulled his hand away and let out a tsk. “Let me,” Was all the man said before bringing it to Taehyung’s lips, waiting for the latter to open his mouth.
Taehyung glared at the other, before opening his mouth, letting Jeongguk do what he wanted. Jeongguk brushed his teeth, making sure not to press too hard or to go back too far. He was constantly wiping any excess paste that fell from Taehyung’s lips, making sure not to make a mess. He told Taehyung to spit it out, and he did, rinsing out his mouth. Taehyung smiled sarcastically, showing off his clean teeth.
Jeongguk nodded to himself, pleased, and picked Taehyung up., walking towards the living room. “Woah hey, manners please. I don't like being picked up!” Taehyung shrieked, kicking his legs and pushing Jeongguk’s face away. “Stop struggling.” Jeongguk’s voice was dark but it didn’t hold any malice, but those words made Taehyung stiffen.
“Don’t say that ever again.” Taehyung gasped, wanting to be let down. Jeongguk frowned, but let him, watching him fall to the ground, shaking. “Say what? ‘Stop struggling’?” Jeongguk questioned, tilting his head to the side.
“No!” Taehyung’s head shook as he brought his knees up to his chest.
Jeongguk blinked a few times, reaching out to touch Taehyung, but thought that it probably wasn’t the best thing to do, so he let his arm fall back down to his side. “Hey I’m sorry.” Jeongguk said, crouching down to Taehyung’s height. “Want some medication for your hangover?” Jeongguk asked, reminding him about his pounding head. Taehyung breathed out shakily before nodded, but kept his head down.
“I’ll be right back.” Jeongguk murmured, going to find where he put the newly bought medication. He found some advil, and took one, and a bottle of water, before heading back. Taehyung wasn’t there when he walked back, and he frowned, going to his room to find Taehyung sitting on the bed, looking at something. “Hey,” Taehyung’s head snapped up, and shoved the thing back into the drawer. Jeongguk looked suspiciously at the younger, but he didn’t say anything. He would check it later.
“I got some pills and water.” Jeongguk said, giving the pills and drink to him. Taehyung nodded, and grabbed the things, swallowing the pills and chugging water down after. “Why don’t you go to bed. You have work later, do you want me to call in for you saying you’re sick or something else?” Jeongguk asked, pushing Taehyung until he fell back against the bed, and Jeongguk brought the covers up to his neck. Taehyung sighed and told Jeongguk to wake him around that time and see how he feels. Jeongguk nodded his head and left the room, going to the couch to make a few calls.
-
Jeongguk looked at the time and saw that it was almost five. Taehyung had his shift at six, but he needed to get there and change and wake up, so it would be best if Jeongguk woke him now. He got up and walked to Taehyung’s room, opening the door slowly. Before he went to go wake the other up, he went to go check what the thing Taehyung was holding before he came into the room. He quietly opened the drawer, and immediately found the thing, as it stood out, as clear as day.
A big shavette razor blade was in the middle of the drawer. Jeongguk’s mouth twitched, wanting to gasp, but he knew he needed to be quiet. He picked it up and studied it. It had old rusty blood on it, and looked dull from the years, but Jeongguk nearly cut his finger from the sharpness.
Jeongguk swallowed thickly and tried not to think of Taehyung would’ve done. He isn’t the first person Jeongguk has met that cuts, but it felt different from the others. He wasn't sure why, but all he knew was that he didn’t want Taehyung using that. Jeongguk placed it back where it belonged and closed it. He then sat on Taehyung’s bed and shook his shoulder lightly.
“Hey Taehyung, you gotta wake up.” Jeongguk said softly, watching Taehyung stirr. He groaned and shook the others hand off, rolling away from whatever was trying to pull him from sleep. Jeongguk’s mouth twitched upwards, amused at the reaction. “Come on Tae, time to go to work.” Jeongguk said, gripping Taehyung’s shoulder a little tighter and shook it again.
Taehyung suddenly shot up, yelling no . Taehyung blinked a few times, before looking around the room, and setting his gaze on Jeongguk. His unfocused eyes became clearer as he remembered where he was. “Oh hey,” Taehyung mumbled, rubbing his eyes. Jeongguk nodded and watched Taehyung stretch.
“Feel good enough for work?” Jeongguk questioned, ignoring what Taehyung yelled out, as he walked over to the curtains and pulled them back. Taehyung winced at the dull light, the sun blocked by clouds but it was bright enough to hurt his eyes.
“Sure, I mean, I don’t really want to, but whatever.” Taehyung shrugged and got out, eyes barely open. Jeongguk watched Taehyung stumble around, trying to find his clothes for work. Jeongguk stood there while Taehyung found his clothes for work, which was a short-sleeve uniform. Jeongguk had an idea, wanting to see how Taehyung talked his way out of this one.
Taehyung told Jeongguk to get out so he could change, and he did, fixing Taehyung a sandwich to eat on the way to work. Taehyung walked out with a black long sleeve underneath his uniform, covering his arms. Jeongguk gave Taehyung the food and told him that they should get going. They rode in the elevator in silence, not awkward but not comfortable.
Jeongguk made sure to drive Taehyung, and while they were driving there Jeongguk finally asked the question. “Why are you wearing long sleeve underneath?” Jeongguk asked, and from the corner of his eye he was Taehyung stiffened and pull his sleeve down so it covered his hand. “It’s cold,” Was all he said. “It’s not that cold, plus I’m sure they have heating in the building.” Jeongguk expressed, taking a turn.
“Because of my past, my body can’t hold heat as well as a normal body can. Now drop it.” Taehyung snapped and Jeongguk shut right up. It was the truth, just not the whole truth. Jeongguk somehow knew that what he said was true, so he didn’t question it.
Now there was awkward silence.
Jeongguk dropped Taehyung off, and he was going to say bye, but Taehyung slammed the door shut. Jeongguk made sure that he went inside okay before driving away. Not a minutes later he got a call from Taehyung. “Yes?” Jeongguk answered. “Come pick me up now.” Taehyung voice shook, and Jeongguk did a U-turn, ignoring the cars honking behind him. He drove back to Taehyung work, and it didn’t take more than a minute.
Taehyung was waiting for him on the sidewalk, talking on the phone with someone. More like yelling with someone. He braked in front and Taehyung walked over to the drivers side, and moved his hands around, signaling for Jeongguk to get out. Jeongguk frowned and got out, switching over to the passenger seat, listening to Taehyung yelling on the phone.
“No! Fuck you and your fucking cunt wife! I couldn’t give a flying fuck what you think of me! I need the job!” Taehyung shouted Jeongguk not even closing the door before he drove away. He sped away, taking sharp turns until he was met with country roads.
“You little fucking cunt, you will give me my job back or I’ll fucking do things to you that is unimaginable.” Taehyung hissed, and Jeongguk has never seen him so mad before. Jeongguk has met many mad people, but Taehyung made him feel scared, and that was something.
“I’m gonna fucking rip your guts out and strangle you with them!” Taehyung threatened. He stood silent for a second, before sighing. “Fuck you, I’ll see you in hell fucker.” Taehyung growled and hung up. He pulled over and got out, leaving the engine running.
Jeongguk turned it off, but kept the keys in the ignition, and followed Taehyung to where he was punching a tree. His knuckles immediately got scraped up, but Taehyung continued to punch until Jeongguk physically stopped him.
“Taehyung, calm down.” Jeongguk grabbed Taehyung waist and pulled him away from the tree, covering his eyes. Taehyung screamed, his voice echoing through the empty forest. Taehyung sobbed out, hands weakly gripping Jeongguk’s.
“They, they called my workplace and told a bunch lies saying how I stole and how I did bad things. I got fired from both my jobs.” Taehyung said, sniffling. “Who?” Jeongguk asked, hoping to get a answer from Taehyung. “ Wiheom. They were made because of the food that you bought when we first met.” Taehyung spilled, before gasping. “W-wait!” Taehyung yelled out when Jeongguk grinned.
“Wiheom, huh?” Jeongguk chuckled. “Thanks Taehyung.” “No, you can’t do anything!” Taehyung twisted in his grasp. “Things will happen!” He gripped his shirt with numb fingers. “I-I tried before. It didn’t work before and it wouldn’t work now. Please don’t.” Taehyung gasped, looking Jeongguk in the eye for the first time willingly. Jeongguk felt naked underneath his stare, but something was off.
“I won’t,” Taehyung’s shoulder sagged in relief, “but only if you tell me what happened last time you told someone.” Taehyung tensed again. “No, ask me anything but that.” Taehyung begged. “No. Tell me and I won’t do anything.” Jeongguk commanded. “You don’t have to tell me.” Jeongguk shrugged. “No, but you’re kinda forcing me to say something.” Taehyung glared. Jeongguk raised an eyebrow.
“Well you are! I don’t want to tell you but you’ll do something to them and then they’ll get mad. An-and then I’ll go through the same thing. But if I tell you what happened, you’re going to want to kill them!” Taehyung cried out, tears pricking his eyes. Jeongguk chewed on the bottom of his lip. “Taehyung, I just want to help.” Jeongguk said, puppy eyes looking at the younger.
“Well don’t.” Taehyung snarled, pushing Jeongguk away, but he kept a grip on Taehyung’s waist. “Let go.” Taehyung said, completely serious. Jeongguk’s eyes narrowed but didn’t let go nor say anything. Taehyung swung his already bruised and bloodied knuckles, and hit Jeongguk’s face.
He truly was surprised that he hit him, expecting the hitman to stop him, or duck, but he really wasn’t expecting his fist to make contact with his face. Taehyung groaned loudly in pain from his hand, it was probably broken, and shoving Jeongguk away. He did and he ran to the car, starting it, and drove off.
He left Jeongguk alone in the woods, and Jeongguk stood there shocked. Did he really just leave him stranded in the middle of nowhere? The answer was yes and he huffed, rubbing his jaw from the pain. He moved it around a bit, before walking to the road.
He called his hyung to come get him, hissing at him when the other laughed at him, and his situation. So he waited.
-
When Taehyung got home, he knew something was off. The door was ajar, the lock broken physically, and he pulled out his pocket knife, stepping inside slowly and cautiously. He walked inside, holding the knife tightly, looking around to see if anyone was in the room.
“Hello Taehyung~” A voice behind him said, and then the click of his gun. Taehyung froze, not even breathing. He knew that voice too well. “Taemin.” Taehyung spoke calmly.
“Pretty shitty weather we’re having.” Taemin nudged the back on his head with the gun, and Taehyung walked forwards. He did until he reached the living room, lights on and tv smashed. “We need to talk,”
-
Jeongguk thanked his hyung for the ride, and looked up the building to see Taehyung’s balcony open and his curtains flying out from the wind. That was strange, Taehyung never opened the door when it was cold out. Jeongguk frowned and made sure his gun was tucked into his pants before going in the building.
He climbed the stairs, not trusting the elevator. He felt like something was off, big-time. He walked to Taehyung’s door and heard grunts coming from the otherside. The door was closed, but the lock was broken. Jeongguk pressed his ear to the door, listening to someone laughing cruelly, while someone else cried. It was Taehyung, the other recognizing the deep voice. Jeongguk slowly peeked inside, and heard whatever Taehyung and the other person was saying.
“You gonna be my good boy Tae? Just like last time?” A voice purred. “N-no!” Taehyung cried out, before hearing a belt unbuckle. Jeongguk went inside slowly, making sure not to bring attention, gun already loaded.
“No? Oh Tae, you don’t have a choice.” That’s when Jeongguk moved forward, seeing Taehyung underneath a man, who was unbuckling his belt, his shirt raised up. Jeongguk brought his gun up and shot. The body slumped on Taehyung, blood dripping on his face.
“Taehyung!” Jeongguk ran to him, pushing the body off and bringing the shaking boy to him. Taehyung gripped his jacket tightly, crying softly as he leaned his weight on the hitman. Jeongguk shushed him, holding him to his body, stroking his hair. Taehyung calmed down enough to be able to talk.
“They a-are gonna come for me!” Taehyung gasped, looking at Jeongguk. “No they’re not. I’ll keep you safe.” Jeongguk promised, picking Taehyung up and walking out of the apartment, closing the door behind him. He quickly sent a text to one of his workers to come to Taehyung apartment with one of his hyungs and take the body and to bring it to him.
Taehyung was still very shaken as they reached his car, and gently set Taehyung in the passenger seat, buckling him because it seemed like his hands were shaking too much. “W-where are we going?” Taehyung asked when they drove away from the apartment. “My house. You’ll be staying there until I figure things out.” Jeongguk responded, looking over at Taehyung.
They stood in silence, before Taehyung spoke. “They took me away when I tried telling someone. They did things to me that no one should ever go through.” Taehyung whispered, and Jeongguk stiffened, not saying anything in hopes of knowing more information.
“They, they… touched me in places when I was a kid. I didn’t understand at the time, but I do now. They, uh, still do things to me.” Taehyung whispered, playing with his fingers, ignoring the pain of his knuckles roaring in protest.
Jeongguk clenched his jaw, and his grip on the steering wheel tightened. “They raped you?” Jeongguk asked quietly. “That wasn’t the worse thing. I’ll tell you with time, just, not now.” Taehyung shuddered and whimpered softly, head knocking against the window. “I understand.” Jeongguk said, looking over at him.
They reached his house, which was huge, and the amount of security was almost ridiculous. There was a thumbprint, and cameras everywhere, Taehyung was expecting a machine to scan your eye or something. His car looked like shit against the house, and he felt small.
Jeongguk walked around the car and helped Taehyung out, walking slowly to make sure that he wasn’t pushing him or anything. Jeongguk unlocked the door after multiple locks and safety, finally pushing in the doors. Taehyung felt something heavy knocked into he and would’ve fallen over, because something barreled into him.
“Down boy, he’s a friend.” Jeongguk chuckled, taking the weight off of him. Taehyung opened his eyes and saw a bulldog, who was snorting and slobbering all over the place. Five more dogs came around the corner, all different types of dogs.
“Oh yeah, I hope you like dogs.” Jeongguk chuckled nervously and pushed Taehyung into the room filled with all sorts of vicious dogs. A pitbull, doberman, bulldog, rottweiler, and a boxer. But each dog had certain things wrong. Clipped ear, shorter tails, some had three legs, and had scars. Taehyung nearly melted as the dogs sniffed him, cheering him up immensely.
“Oh my god, hi .” Taehyung cooed, kneeling down and his face was instantly licked. Taehyung spluttered, and fell backwards trying to get away from all the tongues and slobber. Taehyung giggled and pet the boxers head, who had a docked tail and and half an ear.
“That one’s Diana,” Jeongguk pointed to the boxer, helping Taehyung up. “This is Doxy,” He patted bulldog, whose one eye was light blue grey, blind. “This gorgeous girl is Lyla.” He lightly pulled on the ears of the pitbull, spine naked with scars. “Mocha,” The docked tail, doberman. “Chuchu,” Jeongguk laughed when the three legged rottweilers head snapped up to look at Jeongguk.
“I rescue them, they were going to get put down, so I bought them. Yes, I bought you.” Jeongguk cooed at Chuchu, holding his head and shaking it back and forth playfully. “I have a couple cats too, but they live up.” Jeongguk explained. “Live up, what do you mean?” Taehyung questioned. “You’ll see.” Jeongguk smiled and made his way in the living room. The living room was bigger than Taehyung’s whole fucking apartment, and Taehyung instantly knew what Jeongguk meant by ‘live up’.
The whole was filled with giant cat towers, and shelves that went up to the ceiling, bridges and boxes were attached to the ceiling, it was literally a cat playground. Black cats were everywhere what the fuck . Taehyung gasped and one of the dogs nudged the back of his knee, it was the doberman, Mocha. Taehyung pet him, amazed. “Jeongguk what the fuck. You’re like a cat lady.” Taehyung looked at him, waiting for an explanation.
“I like animals, so I rescue them. I have a lot of black cats, and old ones, the ones that don’t get adopted.” Jeongguk explained, petting a black cat that was in reach. “Don’t they fall?” Taehyung questioned. “Some do, but they always land on their feet.” Jeongguk told him. “Why have you never told me?” Taehyung asked, picking up a stray black cat and petting it, purring loudly. “You never asked, plus I didn’t know if you like animals.” He shrugged, looking at the younger.
“I mean, I got fucked by a couple dogs in my past by being placed in a mating stand and they put some type of female dog scent on me, but I really do like them.” Taehyung said, explaining it to Jeongguk like it was the weather. Jeongguk was silent for a moment, processing the new information.
“We need to check out your knuckles. They might be broken, but there’s nothing I can do about that.” Jeongguk changed the topic, and Taehyung didn’t blame him. Jeongguk led him to a different room, and this one, no animals were allowed. They had quite a big space and room so it wasn’t cruel or anything. Jeongguk led Taehyung upstairs, and opened the door to a bedroom. Taehyung felt so small, the room was huge, and so was the bed, which was high off the ground and wide.
It looked so soft, he just wanted to jump in and wrap himself in the blankets. It was obviously Jeongguk’s room, the walls filled with writing. Some were song lyrics, others were simple poems and quotes and others were facts.
His room was a light grey, so the black ink stood out. He had a couple posters of girl and boy bands, and on the ceiling, on top of the bed was a mirror. Why that was there, Taehyung didn’t really want to know, but he didn’t have enough time to process the whole thing because Jeongguk walked in the bathroom that was attached to the bedroom was bigger than Taehyung’s own bedroom.
“What the fuck, how rich are you?” Taehyung meant it as a rhetorical question, but he answered anyway. “Richer than any government.” Jeongguk smiled and told Taehyung to sit on the closed toilet seat while he got a first aid kit. “Did he hit you anywhere?” Jeongguk asked as he opened the kit and took out a achol wipes.
“No, he just held a gun to my head.” Taehyung responded, giving his hand to Jeongguk. He took it in his own, his hands were gentle, and had a rough texture. Taehyung never really liked hands, but he like Jeongguk’s.
The nails were trimmed short, while Taehyung’s were jagged and chewed. Taehyung hissed and tried to pull his hand back when Jeongguk dabbed at the open wounds, but the grip tightened and continued. Taehyung really wasn’t sure what to think about Jeongguk, if he was honest.
He was still weary around him, but slowly was trusting him, but slowly. He still waits for the day Jeongguk gets so pissed at him that he’ll put a bullet between his eyes, but Jeongguk could never hurt Taehyung in that sense.
Jeongguk looked at Taehyung’s expression, eyebrows furrowed and he was chewing his lips, deep in thought. Jeongguk stopped cleaning his knuckles, and thumbed at Taehyung’s bottom lip, taking it away from his teeth.
Taehyung snapped out of his trance and stared at his eyes before looking away just as quick, a faint blush on his tan cheek made Jeongguk smirk to himself and continued to clean. “Why can’t you look at me in the eyes for more than a second?” Jeongguk teased, but he really was curious.
“I agree with the saying “the eyes are the window to the soul,”, and when I was taken, I could easily tell what was going to happen to me just by looking them in the eyes. I don’t tend to look at people in the eyes because it’s very intimate and scary for me. Plus your gaze is really intense.” Taehyung mumbled, twitching his fingers and tracing unknown patterns on Jeongguk’s wrist.
“Oh, well what happens if you do, though? Do you just get really shy or does it trigger you?” Jeongguk questioned, looking at Taehyung’s eyes, but he wasn’t looking at Jeongguk. “It scares me, I’ve never held eye contact with someone and not be scared. I need to fully trust the person before doing so.” Taehyung explained, feeling Jeongguk’s eyes on him. “I feel like, I feel naked.” Taehyung shuttered, accidentally making eye contact with him for a brief second as he was shifting his eyes around.
Jeongguk smiled sadly. “Okay, it’s quite amusing though.” Taehyung huffed. “Glad to know my shyness and awkwardness amuses you.” “I didn’t mean it like that.” Jeongguk argued, his sentence made Jeongguk feel like a pervert. “I’m joking.” Taehyung said, “So am I.” He retorted. Taehyung smiled softly and watched as Jeongguk put a cream on the open scabs and did the other one. Taehyung winced but only his fingers twitched, which caught his attention.
“Why do you always twitch your fingers?” Jeongguk asked, never looking up from his hand. “I need to make sure that they aren’t broken, they would break my fingers and toes a lot, so it’s kinda a subconscious thing. You’re just full of questions tonight.” Taehyung explained, glaring at Jeongguk playfully.
“Well you’re just full of answers tonight, so please excuse my curiosity. It’s not in one of your files or anything explaining what happened. There is one, but it protected greatly, even my hacker is having a hard time cracking it.” Jeongguk said, finishing up.
“You hacked into my file?! Why don’t you just ask?” Taehyung really seemed worried for some reason. “I’m trying . But if you just told me-” “No!” Taehyung shouted, standing up, yanking his hand from Jeongguk’s grip.
“Ok, I’m sorry. Just don’t freak out.” Jeongguk raised his hands up, jaw clenched in anger because if he had just kept his mouth shut, he would’ve gotten more information. Taehyung huffed and crossed his arms, clearly trying to hold his tears back.
Jeongguk looked at him, and Taehyung slumped, and sighed. “I just, I don’t like talking about what happened. I barely know you, and it scares me how much I trust you already.” Taehyung whispered, trying to blink away the tears.
Jeongguk stepped towards him, and very hesitantly, wrapped his arms around Taehyung. It was gentle, but Taehyung still stiffened, before relaxing and burying his nose in Jeongguk’s neck, sniffling.
“They did unimaginable things to me for years .” Taehyung said softly, taking in his scent. “No, I understand Tae. I’m sorry.” Jeongguk apologized. He pulled away from Taehyung, looking at his face.
“Go take a shower. I put waterproof bandaids on your knuckles, so just go.” Jeongguk smiled and turned Taehyung around, gently pushing him towards the shower. Taehyung snickered and told Jeongguk to get out.
Soon after he left, Taehyung took his shirt off, wincing at the pain in his hands. He turned the shower on and waited for the water to turn warm. While it was doing so, he took of his pants and underwear. He hopped in, sighing in content at the warmth. He washed his hair, and while he was waiting for the conditioner to sink in his hair, there was a knock at the door before it opened.
Taehyung squeaked and covered his sex, very glad that the bathroom door to the shower was a curtain. “I’m just giving you some towels and clothes. Pizzas on it way.” Jeongguk laughed at Taehyung's sounds, before leaving the room once again. Taehyung washed himself quickly, rubbing his body with Jeongguk’s body wash, smelling like him. Taehyung turned off the water and hopped out, drying himself.
He tried to find his old clothes, but it seemed like Jeongguk had taken it. He picked up his boxers and sweatpants, putting them on, and having to tighten the elastic band many times to make sure that it didn’t fall off. He then picked up a large red sweater. Taehyung put it on, and it was big, but it smelled like Jeongguk, so he didn’t really care.
It fell off his shoulder a bit, reaching down mid-thigh, and him having sweater paws. He dried his hair with the towel, taking out as much water as he could before stepping out, leaving the towels on the rack to dry. He found Jeongguk’s sitting on the bed, looking a lot more comfortable, in his own sweater and sweatpants. Jeongguk looked up from his phone and giggled like a fucking teenage girl.
“I thought I gave you my smaller clothes.” Jeongguk snickered at how thin and narrow his body was in comparison to himself. There was a box of pizza on the bed too, and it smelled like heaven. Taehyung licked his lips, ignoring what Jeongguk said, and walked over to where the pizza was, opening the box. He moaned at the pure sight of it, it looked so delicious . Taehyung grabbed a slice and moaned even louder at the taste of it.
“Oh my god, this is heaven.” He groaned, scarfing down the whole piece before moving onto the next. Jeongguk was sitting still, a faint blush on his cheeks at the sounds Taehyung made. “It’s not that good.” Jeongguk rolled his eyes, taking a bite himself. Taehyung shrugged and finished his second piece.
“Fuck Tae, you should’ve said you were hungry. I would’ve gotten more.” Jeongguk laughed, Taehyung stilling when he was called out on, his filled cheeks like a chipmunk. “I think I’ll just raid your kitchen for something sweet.” Taehyung jokes. “You’re welcomed to. I don’t mind.” Jeongguk said, serious. Taehyung seemed shocked but then smiled and nodded his head.
They made small talk, Jeongguk telling him not eat so much because he’ll fucking throw up, but all Taehyung said was fuck you Jeon right before shoving another slice in his mouth. Taehyung ate most of the pizza, not that Jeongguk minded. When they finished, Jeongguk placed the empty box, after arguing with Taehyung about eating the fuck crusts (Jeongguk ate them), on the ground.
“Is there a room I’m staying in?” Taehyung asked, rubbing his full stomach. “Here.” Jeongguk said, pulled the sheets back. “Where are you staying?” “Here. Do you mind?” Taehyung shook his head. “It’s fine.” Taehyung said, slowly waddling over to the pillows and collapsed.
“God I’m so full.” Taehyung whined, his stomach hurting from overeating, and the feeling like he was going to throw up from how much it was. Jeongguk snickered and got into the bed also, pulling the covers over them. “I told you not to eat so much, you fucker.” Jeongguk playfully flicked his forehead, and Taehyung weakly swatted away.
“I’m so gonna have the worst shit tomorrow.” Taehyung said, rubbing his bloated stomach. “Ew,” Jeongguk laughed, and shut the lights off, leaving them in darkness except from the brightness of the moon. Jeongguk listened to Taehyung’s breathes slow down and even out, making sure that Taehyung was fully asleep before he went to bed.
-
Jeongguk reached for his gun under his pillow when someone screamed. He sat up and pointed the gun to the door before searching the dark room. His eyes were trained to adjust to the darkness quickly, and so it was easy to spot Taehyung sitting up, hunched.
“Taehyung.” Jeongguk breathed out, frowning when he didn’t get a response. “Tae?” Jeongguk gently touched his shoulder, and he jerked so violently he fell out of the bed. “Taehyung!” Jeongguk dropped the gun and crawled over to the ledge, seeing Taehyung staring up at the ceiling, but not seeing him.
Taehyung suddenly gasped and covered the face, crying in his hands, shaking. Jeongguk dropped of the bed and pried his hands off his face. “It- its, I.” Taehyung slurred, eye glazed, but it seemed like he was back. Jeongguk slowly lifted Taehyung off the ground and set him on the bed, going behind him. Taehyung fell between his legs, his back against Jeongguk’s chest, shaking.
“I- its, I don’t-” Taehyung tried but he got interrupted. “I know. It’s okay.” Jeongguk shushed him, rocking them back and forth. Taehyung shook, it was if he was having a seizure with how violent his shakes were. Jeongguk shushed him, calming him down. “Shh– No, no, don’t panic, love. You’re safe now.” Taehyung whimpered and gripped Jeongguk’s hand, bringing to his nose and just keeping it there, his lips on Jeongguk’s knuckles.
Taehyung ignored the throbbing pain of his own knuckles and just tried to focus on Jeongguk. He took in a deep, shaky breath, and exhaled, his warm breath against Jeongguk’s hand. Jeongguk let him do whatever, not that he minded. Taehyung eventually relaxed, even though it was over an hour. Jeongguk had bad insomnia at times, and he knew that he wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep, even if it was five in the morning.
Taehyung sniffed, and flinched away from the lamp light when Jeongguk turned it on. His eyes were puffy and red, and the end of his nose was red too. His lips were bitten and swollen, and his face was blotchy. Jeongguk cooed softly, nosing Taehyung’s cheek gently. Taehyung hummed, and sighed, letting his head fall on Jeongguk’s shoulder.
“‘M sorry.” Taehyung mumbled, feeling tired again. “Don’t be.” Jeongguk hushed. “I, is there someone here?” Taehyung whispered, eyes flicking around the room. “No, there’s nobody. You want me to show you around just to make sure?” Jeongguk questioned, getting ready to get out bed. Taehyung shook his head.
“I believe you, just scared.” He said. “You’re really warm Tae, you wanna grab some meds?” Jeongguk asked, turning Taehyung’s head and kissing his forehead. Taehyung’s eyes were wide open, the feeling of Jeongguk soft and wet lips on his forehead, keeping it there for a second before pulling back, frowning.
“You definitely have a fever. You probably had a nightmare fever, so unless you’re sick, it should be gone by tomorrow.” Jeongguk acted like he didn’t do anything, reaching in his drawer and pulling out some ibuprofen, and a bottle of water. Taehyung didn’t complain, his head was pounding, and his hands were hurting too. Jeongguk pressed the pill against his lips and then the water, making sure Taehyung didn’t choke. Taehyung pushed his hand away once he swallowed the pill, and Jeongguk set the bottle down.
“Do you want to go back to sleep, or shall I make you a cup of tea?” Jeongguk asked, looking at his clock. They’ve only been asleep for four hours, but to Jeongguk, it was a lot. Taehyung shook his head. “I don’t know. Tea would be nice.” Taehyung said shyly, hoping he wasn’t pushing his luck. Jeongguk smiled.
“You wanna come downstairs with me, or do you want to wait-” “I want to go with you.” Taehyung interrupted, too scared to be alone. Jeongguk smiled. “Okay.” Then wrapped Taehyung in the blanket and carried his downstairs, blanket and all. Taehyung huffed and said he could walk, but Jeongguk could tell that he really didn’t mind, or at least, didn’t mind when he was sleepy.
The dogs were sleeping, their snores enough to prove it. “Up!” Jeongguk said, and all dogs were pulled out of their slumber, looking up at Jeongguk. He set Taehyung down on the couch, and pointed at him. “Protect,” And all the dogs went and circled Taehyung.
They stayed on the ground, but Chuchu was on the couch, staying by his feet. They were in a different room than the cats, so it must be his office or something, but Taehyung had no clue.
“I’ll be back in a sec.” Jeongguk said, running his fingers through Taehyung hair, the latter loving the feeling. He nearly whined when he felt Jeongguk’s hand leave, but didn’t say anything. Taehyung turned over and hugged Chuchu, sighing at the warmth. Taehyung nearly fell asleep, his eyelids snapping open and seconds later shutting closed.
Jeongguk came back with a cup of coffee for him, and some sweet tea for Taehyung. Taehyung jerked at the sound of the cups hitting the coffee table, and looked up sleepily. “Sorry, I thought you were awake.” He said, apologizing. “I am awake,” Taehyung groaned, pulling himself up and falling against the elder’s shoulder. “Sure.” Jeongguk snorted and gave Taehyung the tea.
He took it, not minding the nearly too hot cup, and sipped from it. He felt it go down and warmed his stomach nicely. He hummed and rested his head on Jeongguk’s shoulder, his headache finally going down. “Coffee?” Taehyung asked, frowning at Jeongguk. “I’m not going back to sleep.” Jeongguk replied, taking a sip. Taehyung looked down guilty, and Jeongguk immediately reassured him.
“No, don’t worry, I have bad sleeping problems, and once I go to sleep and wake up, I can’t go back. I was gonna wake up soon anyways.” Taehyung nodded, but said nothing else, not entirely convinced. Jeongguk made sure that he drank all of the tea.
He would never tell Taehyung that he put some melatonin in his drink, but he wanted to make sure Taehyung slept.
Taehyung yawn and scooted down, setting his head on Jeongguk’s thick muscular thighs. He sighed contently when Jeongguk ran his fingers through his hair. Sleep was creeping behind him, and he didn’t even know that he fell asleep.
Jeongguk looked down and smiled, gently tracing over his features. He memorized every little detail about him, before moving his hand back to his soft hair. He pulled out his paperwork, and started to go through them.
-
When Taehyung woke up, he knew that he slept much longer than he needed. But he felt someone deliberately trying to wake him, and how fucking dare they . Taehyung mumbled and turned around, immediately feeling ridges underneath his nose and lips. He opened one eye, trying to figure out what fucking planet he was on.
Jeongguk was looking down at him, on the opposite side, where he stuffed his face in a stomach. Taehyung remembered what happened last night, and what happened. Jeongguk’s hair was dripping, probably just taken a shower. Taehyung frowned, if Jeongguk had just taken a shower, and was standing beside him, who was he on? Taehyung looked up to see the person who he was using as his pillow.
A angry looking blonde, was looking down at him, moving his phone out of the way. “Can you get off me now?” His deep voice made Taehyung wide awake, and he shot up, hitting Jeongguk’s chin in the process.
“ Ow fuck.” Jeongguk groaned, holding his chin, and Taehyung holding his head. “Tae, this is my hacker Yoongi. Yoongi, you already know Taehyung.” Jeongguk gestured to them, rubbing his chin, though he’s sure that Taehyung took most of the hit.
“Nice to meet you,” Taehyung whimpered, holding his head. “Me too. JK, I’m off.” Yoongi said, ruffling Jeongguk’s hair and letting himself out, Taehyung noticing his own dog that was following him. It was small, brown and curly, it was really cute.
Taehyung snickered at such a intimidating guy having such a small dog. The door closed and Taehyung looked up at Jeongguk’s whose chin was red. “Sorry.” Taehyung winced. Jeongguk shrugged and gestured to the plate that was steaming on the coffee table. Eggs, toast, and bacon was set on the plate, and it looked amazing. Taehyung lit up and grabbed the plate, shoving the food in his mouth.
“You gonna eat too?” He asked, looking up at the hitman. “I already ate. I gotta go, is it alright if I leave you here for a few hours?” Jeongguk asked, fixing his buttoned top. “Where are you going?” Taehyung frowned, taking a bite out of his toast. “I gotta go get some grocery, and I need to do a job.” Jeongguk said, nonchalant.
“Oh,” Taehyung said, eyeing the other carefully. “Do you want to come groceries with me?” Jeongguk asked. Taehyung thought about it for a second. “Yeah, sure.” Taehyung nodded. “I’ll text you. Make sure to take more ibuprofen if your head hurts again.” Jeongguk’s caring voice made Taehyung’s stomach flutter.
He nodded and said bye to Jeongguk. Diana was staring at him, whining for food. “My food, stop.” Taehyung grumbled childishly, flicking the dozers with his toe gently. She whined but sat down, looking as if she was going to cry. Taehyung rolled his eyes, and looked to what else was on the table.
He saw a file, and his curiosity got the best of him, even though he ignored it for a while. He took the file into his lap, setting his food down, and opened the file. There was a ugly looking man, tattoos on his neck and face. It was a photo taken by someone across the street, full body covered in a suit. He was looking behind him when the photo was taken. It must’ve been Jeongguk’s target.
Taehyung flipped the photo over and saw zeros. Lot and lots of zeros. The price was something Taehyung couldn’t even imagine having that much. More than a million dollars, Taehyung was jealous, if he was honest. Jeongguk had all this money while Taehyung couldn’t even pay the bills, but he was grateful for everything Jeongguk has done for him.
Taehyung turned the page and saw gruesome photos of children. Some were naked, crying, dead, rotting, starved, but Taehyung had seen worse, he’s been through worse. Taehyung got quick flashbacks, but turned the page over.
There was a paragraph explaining the children were kidnapped earlier and were his victims the man. Taehyung swallowed and shut the file. He felt like puking, the images were graphic, and so were the memories he had.
He put it back and lost his appetite, giving it to the dogs. They licked the plate clean and he went to go set it in the sink. He sighed and decided to look around. He went upstairs, and found three guest bedroom, two bathroom, and two more closet space where he kept all his extra pillows and blankets, while the other one kept shower things.
Taehyung snooped around Jeongguk’s room, finding a secret drawer underneath his bed, with drugs. Cannabis, coke, cookies and brownies, crystal meth, shrooms, and ecstasy, along with some pills. Taehyung really wanted to have some, but he didn’t even want to know what Jeongguk would do if he found out.
He looked in his closet and found a box, and opened it and gasped. It was a box filled with sex toys. Taehyung never felt so embarrassed before, looking in the box full toys. Dildos, vibreators, cock-rings, whips, ropes, nipple clamps, normal buttplugs and ones with tails at the end, handcuffs , and literally every sex toy.
Taehyung noticed that the toys were both for girls and guys. Taehyung face was very red, and he felt his own cock twitch at the thought of Jeongguk using these on him or himself. Taehyung set the box back, and made sure that it looked exactly like it was before he touched it.
There was nothing else upstairs except for the workout room down the hall from Jeongguk’s room, so he decided to check in the basement. He would’ve, if he had Jeongguk’s fingerprint. He huffed and left the door alone, searching around the main floor. There was at least knives or a gun or something in every room, he must’ve been really paranoid.
Taehyung let the dogs out in the backyard, petting some cats that wound around his legs. He walked out on the patio, finding some spare slippers to put on. He watched the dogs play a bit before going back inside because it was too cold.
Taehyung sighed and turned on the tv in the living room, and checked his phone for any calls. He was really pissed off that he got fired from both of his jobs, and he knew that if he tried to get another job they wouldn’t let him.
Now, he was waiting for the school to kick him out, so he really wasn’t looking forward with that. Taehyung found a stray cat and and let the cat lay down on him as he waited for Jeongguk to come back.
-
Jeongguk came through the doors, blood stained on his shirt, and face. Taehyung shot up, the cat yowling as he was moved off. “Hey Tae, let me go clean up and we’ll go for some shopping.” Jeongguk said as if he wasn’t covered in blood. Taehyung could tell none of it was his and he was grateful. Taehyung nodded and sat back down.
Jeongguk set his phone down on the table. “Can you tell me if anyone calls me? I would bring it in the shower I won’t be able to answer it. Just barge in, I won’t be jacking off or anything.” Jeongguk smiled and went upstairs to go take a shower. Taehyung blinked and flushed at what Jeongguk had said, but didn’t do anything.
He kept looking at the phone to make sure that it wasn’t ringing. But he jumped when it did. Taehyung grabbed the phone and ran upstairs, knocking on the door, answering the phone to make sure he didn’t hang up.
“The phone!” Taehyung yelled and Jeongguk was so startled by the sound of Taehyung yelled, he slipped and fell down. Taehyung gasped and told the person to wait. “Jeongguk, are you ok?” Taehyung ripped the shower curtain away, ignoring his nakedness, and helped Jeongguk sit up.
“I’m sorry,” Taehyung snickered, trying not to laugh at the fact the world’s most feared hitman slipped in the shower because he got scared. Jeongguk groaned, his own smile was spread out.
“Shut up and give me the phone.” He huffed and turned the shower off. Taehyung gave it to him, and waited to make sure Jeongguk was okay. “Hello? Oh hey Jimin. I slipped in the shower. Shut up.” Jeongguk growled and stepped out, not ashamed at all. Taehyung gave him the towel, looking away. He wrapped it around his waist and grabbed Taehyung's hand, walking to his room and sitting on the bed.
“Okay, yes I’m busy tonight, no- fuck you.” Jeongguk sighed, falling backwards, bringing Taehyung with him. Taehyung fell awkwardly on his chest, accidently kneeling Jeongguk’s crotch. “Ow, fuck Taehyung. Are you trying to kill me?” Jeongguk groaned, cupping his crotch in pain.
“Sorry,” Taehyung giggled, not sorry at all. “Yeah I just got kneed in the dick by a little shit-” “-Hey!” “Yeah so tell hyung to send the file, I’ll take a look at it.” Jeongguk said, flicking Taehyung’s head.
Jeongguk said bye, and attacked Taehyung, they rough-housed until Jeongguk fell on the floor, Taehyung landing on him, and accidently pressed his elbow in the hitman’s rib.
Jeongguk groaned, and flipped them around, Taehyung underneath him, towel almost falling off. “This is the fourth time today Tae, fourth! ” Jeongguk growled, while Taehyung laughed. “Only four?” He giggled.
“You’re so damn lucky I like you.” Jeongguk whined, shifting his hips. Taehyung tried to flip them around by bucking his hips, but Jeongguk pressed all his weight on Taehyung, and with all those muscle he was fucking heavy. Jeongguk squeezed Taehyung’s side, and he cried for mercy. Jeongguk laughed while the younger pouted.
“You like me?” Taehyung asked playfully. “Unfortunately.” Jeongguk sighed, ignoring Taehyung kicking out on him. “Hey! I’m a very nice and likeable person!” Taehyung shot back. “You literally threw a plate at me when I tried to help you.” Jeongguk rolled his eyes.
“I’m not used to people helping me. So it was a little strange when the world’s most feared hitman want to.” Taehyung said, and instantly their playful mood diminished. Jeongguk looked down at him, Taehyung staring at his eyes. They held the eye contact for at least ten seconds before the latter looked away.
“It was longer this time.” Jeongguk noted, loving the way Taehyung flushed. “Hush up,” He mumbled. “Are you starting to trust me now?” Jeongguk questioned, pressing his hands beside Taehyung’s head, closing him in as he leaned down slightly.
“Y-yeah,” Taehyung said, “unfortunately.” He mocked Jeongguk, and the other smiled, bunny teeth showing and eyes crinkling.
Taehyung brought his hands up and held Jeongguk’s face in his big hands. “You have bunny teeth.” Taehyung pointed out, his thumb near the corner of Jeongguk’s lips. “I know, my friends always tease me.” Jeongguk replied.
“You have friends?” Taehyung teased, and Jeongguk rolled his eyes. “More than you,” And Taehyung smiled, not a small smile, but a big boxy grin and Jeongguk really wanted to kiss him right then and there. He gulped, looking over Taehyung’s features. “Tae, I-”
Suddenly, Jeongguk was bucked off and Taehyung climbed on top of Jeongguk, only when he was on him, realized that the towel had fallen off. Taehyung shrieked and fell off, covering his eyes. “Oh be quiet, it’s just a dick.” Jeongguk said, upset.
He stood up and walked to his closet to get some clothes. “You should change.” Jeongguk said, throwing some blue jeans and a blue long sleeve. Taehyung thanked him, trying not to look at his nicely sculpted ass. Jeongguk threw on some clothes, a white shirt, sleeves long enough to cover his tattoo, and some ripped blue jeans.
“Go change,” Jeongguk shooed him into the bathroom and Taehyung changed, trying to do something with his hair. “I need a toothbrush!” Taehyung yelled out. Jeongguk walked in, and looked through the drawers, before finding a brush that wasn’t used.
“Here, you want to eat something before we go? I’m kinda hungry.” Jeongguk said, watching Taehyung in the mirror as the younger brushed his teeth.
“Sure, I’m hungry too. McDonalds?” Taehyung suggested. “Definitely.” Jeongguk agreed, eyeing Taehyung’s hair. He grabbed his brush and showed it to Taehyung in the mirror, letting him know that he was going to brush, and to not freak out. Taehyung nodded and Jeongguk stood behind him, combing it. There wasn’t any tangles, but it still felt good.
Taehyung bent down, ass nearly touching Jeongguk’s crotch as he spit out the paste. Jeongguk gulped, the image of Taehyung bent over making his cock twitch in the pants. Taehyung stood up and walked out, waiting for Jeongguk. “You coming or what?” Jeongguk turned his head to see Taehyung’s confused face, eyebrow raised, staring right at Jeongguk. He smiled, “Yeah,”
-
They picked up McDonald’s, eating it on the drive. They were driving out of town to go to this market place where they sell really good food. Jeongguk bought only organic meat, but he didn’t mind eating organic or not. They were going at least 200 km/h, but Taehyung didn’t really care, as he was eating the fries. Jeongguk had a mouthful of a big mac, and sipped his drink, swerving around another car.
Taehyung took a bite out of Jeongguk’s burger, he didn’t order one. He ordered some chicken nuggets and fries. Jeongguk, surprisingly, ordered a big mac, nuggets, large fries, a drink and a pastry.
“I thought you couldn’t eat unhealthy foods.” Taehyung said as Jeongguk took another bite. “What, you mean?” Jeongguk asked with a mouthful. “Well like, because you work out or whatever. I dunno.” Taehyung gestured to Jeongguk’s body.
“Yeah, I can. I’ll just need to work out twice as much tomorrow.” He shrugged and told Taehyung to give him some fries. He dipped them in barbecue sauce, and held it to Jeongguk’s mouth. He took the whole fry, Taehyung pushing the rest in, his fingers brushing against his lips.
Jeongguk unconsciously licked his lips, and Taehyung’s fingers, in the process Taehyung blushed and pulled his hand back, eating another nugget. “Jeongguk, we’re not going to make it.” Taehyung whined as he looked at the time.
“Trust me. They let me in. They’re not stupid.” Jeongguk grinned at the other. Taehyung rolled his eyes and looked out the window, watching the trees and farmhouses go by. He sighed and looked at Jeongguk, who was relaxed, smiling softly.
“Can I hold your hand?” Taehyung asked suddenly, making the latter look at him in shock. “Ye, yeah sure.” Jeongguk said, switching hands on the wheel and holding his hand out for Taehyung.
He smiled and linked their fingers together, Taehyung loving the feeling of his warm hand against his own. They sat in peaceful silence, Jeongguk letting Taehyung fed him because he didn’t have the heart to let go.
-
Taehyung ran into the store, Jeongguk close behind him with the cart. “Let’s restock on everything. Meat, bread, veggies and fruit, snacks.” Jeongguk told him, going to go get some meat before it closed. Taehyung was looking over the vegetables, trying to pick something when a hand snaked around his thin waist.
“Hey pretty, whatcha doing here?” The man asked, bringing Taehyung close to his body. “Ok first of all, fuck off this is a damn grocery store, not a bar. And second I’m with someone yes, so take you’re disgusting hands off me.” Taehyung growled, looking behind him for Jeongguk. “Oh yeah? Bet he’s not as good as me.” The man ignored Taehyung’s earlier comments.
“I’m with fucking Golden Boy don’t fucking touch me.” Taehyung snarled, trying to break free. “Golden Boy huh? Yeah try to find something more believable.” The man rolled his eyes.
“Look behind you, fucktard.” Jeongguk’s voice came from behind him.
The man stiffened and looked behind him, along with Taehyung. Jeongguk stood there with his arms crossed, his biceps bulging, purposefully raised the sleeve to show his tattoo. His face was smug at the man's expression.
“Come Tae, we still need to get other things.” Taehyung tried to go, but the man held his grip, making Taehyung wince as it tightened. “How do I know that’s even real huh?” The man was scared, but tried to tuff it out.
Jeongguk stepped forward, taking his gun from behind his back. “You see this here? It’s a glock 17 with 19 rounds. I could tell you much more about this gun, but I don’t see the point, cause you're going to die. And you see those people around there? They might called the police, but I won’t go to jail, hell I won’t even get fined, and they know there would be no point in calling.” Jeongguk smirked and clocked the gun. “What’s it gonna be?” The man let Taehyung go, and spun around, running out the doors.
Jeongguk rolled his eyes and put the gun back behind his back. Taehyung hugged Jeongguk, giggling. “I could’ve handled him.”
“Oh yeah, because you’re not as harmless as a kitten, right?” Jeongguk teased, wrinkling his nose at Taehyung. Taehyung scoffed and hit his chest, leaving Jeongguk to grab some vegetables. Jeongguk gave the cart to Taehyung, who played around with it like a child would. Jeongguk laughed at him as he slide across the floor, on the cart.
They did some shopping, getting all that was needed before heading in the snack aisle. Taehyung squealed when Jeongguk arms lifted him off the cart, spinning him around a few times before setting the younger down. “What was that?” Taehyung asked, a blush spreading across his face. “I don’t know. I’m just really happy for some reason.” Jeongguk shook his head, staring at each other. Taehyung was getting more and more used to make eye contact with Jeongguk, and it was quite amusing when his gaze made Jeongguk flush.
“Let’s get some snacks!” Taehyung yelled excited. They got almost every chip bag and sweet thing they could find, ramen also. Their cart was nearly overflowing from all the food, Taehyung couldn’t wait to make food with it. They reached the cash registers, and she wasn’t impressed from the amount of food they were getting.
Jeongguk paid, obviously, and Taehyung tried not to look at the price, but he knew it was well over $600. Taehyung helped Jeongguk load the food in the car, before running back to returned the cart.
Jeongguk had the car started and once he got in, they were driving off. Taehyung smiled as he looked at Jeongguk, who was also smiling. Taehyung had never felt happier in his life before.

Every night, they would cuddle at night because for some reason Taehyung was able to not have the worst nightmares when he was near Jeongguk. It’s been three days since he moved with Jeongguk, and they fought over the most dumbest thing.
Jeongguk was horny and he wanted to the club to relieve his stress. He liked Taehyung but he couldn’t fuck him, and he hasn’t had a good fuck in weeks.
“Tae, I’m going out. Don’t wait for me, I probably won’t be back until morning.” Jeongguk said, looking in the mirror to make sure that he looked hot. Taehyung gulped as he looked over Jeongguk before turning his head back to the tv.
“Where are you going?” He asked.
“Out.” Was all Jeongguk said as he put his shoes on. “But where?” Taehyung pressed.
“Out Taehyung. To a fucking strip club because I haven't gotten a good fuck in a while and I’m horny.” Jeongguk groaned.
“Could you come back before I go to bed?” Taehyung asked, playing with his fingers. “Why? You’re a big boy.” Jeongguk was starting to get pissed off.
“Whatever, it doesn’t matter. Go fuck some sluts.” Taehyung’s cold voice hit him hard. “Now what’s wrong?” Jeongguk snapped and regretted it when Taehyung flinched.
“Fuck off.” Taehyung exhaled sharply, and Jeongguk fucking lost it.
“What the fuck is your problem. I want to go to the club. What the fuck is wrong with that? Do you need me to hold your hand when you go to bed? Is that the fucking problem?” Jeongguk asked it rhetorically but Taehyung answered anyways.
“Actually yes, I do, because whenever I sleep with you, my nightmares aren’t as vivid. I don’t know about you, but dreaming that you were fucking raped as a child is something you would want to avoid seeing. Whatever Jeongguk, it doesn’t matter. I just don’t care. Go fuck whoever you want.” Taehyung barked out, shaking his head while mumbling some random words, getting up and going upstairs.
Jeongguk was shocked to say the least, but yelled out ‘fuck you’ and slammed the front door shut.
-
He drove back home two hours later, frustrated.
He couldn't get hard.
He couldn’t get fucking hard because he felt guilty .
So he didn’t fuck anyone, because all he could think about how the girl wasn't Taehyung. It wasn’t Taehyung kissing his neck and it wasn’t Taehyung who tried to stroke his cock to full hardness. He felt guilty, like he was cheating on him or something and all he wanted to do was let out some stress.
He hit the steering wheel, making it honk of a brief second. He groaned and slammed the door shut, opening the door to the house. It was quite, and all lights were off. Jeongguk immediately heard screaming, and he knew it was Taehyung. He ran upstairs, not taking his shoes off, and ran into his bedroom.
Taehyung was thrashing around, gasping for air. “I-I’m a good boy. I’m a good boy, I’m sorry.” Taehyung begged and Jeongguk rushed over, picking Taehyung up and rocking his back and forth, leading his head to his neck.
Taehyung awoke quickly, sniffling. Taehyung stiffened before relaxing before stiffening and pushed him away. “How was your fuck? Worth it?” Taehyung huffed, laying back down.
“I couldn’t get hard.” Jeongguk blurted and Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
“Don’t laugh.” Jeongguk scowled at Taehyung, who had started laughing. “You couldn’t get hard? Were they that bad?” Taehyung scoffed.
“Yeah, whatever. I’m going to jack off in the shower and then I’m coming back.” Jeongguk lied, stripping his clothes. “Okay ew . I don’t want to even know, and second, stop stripping in front of me.” Taehyung said, rolling onto his side.
Jeongguk was in his boxers, and he paused for a moment to look at Taehyung’s back. He walked to his shower and took the rest of his clothing off. True to his word, he did jerk off, and came back feeling slightly better. He dropped the towel from around his waist and put on normal boxers before jumping into bed.
Taehyung immediately rolled over a pressed his cheek against Jeongguk’s bare chest. “I’m still mad at you.” Taehyung mumbled.
“I’m sorry. I was out of line and I shouldn't have said the things I said.” Jeongguk apologized. Taehyung was silent and Jeongguk thought that he had fallen asleep. “It’s fine. I pushed too. Where you go shouldn’t be my problem. But, when am I going back to my apartment?” Taehyung asked, and Jeongguk really didn’t want to answer.
“It’s still unsafe. A few men showed up at your door a couple days ago.” Jeongguk said truthfully. Taehyung nodded.
The day that Yoongi was over, they had delivered the dead body of Taemin to Wiheom as a warning to stay away from Taehyung. It didn’t really work, seeing that they came to the house yesterday. But Taehyung was here and not there, and he was fine. Taehyung started, pulling Jeongguk from his thoughts.
He smiled and brought his arms to hold him tight. Taehyung didn’t have any nightmares that night.
--
“When am I going back home?” Taehyung asked from the couch, looking up at Jeongguk, who was setting up a movie. “Do you want to go home?” Jeongguk replied, looking back at Taehyung’s expression.
“No,” Taehyung mumbled, feeling embarrassed for some reason.
“Then you don’t need to go home.” Jeongguk smiled and came over to sit beside Taehyung. The younger leaned on him, and Jeongguk wrapped his arm around Taehyung’s shoulders, bringing him close.
--
It’s been a month since Taehyung moved to Jeongguk’s. He didn’t mind, he enjoyed doing things with Jeongguk. Whether it was going out to eat, or cooking dinner. Staying at home and binge watch animes, or take the dogs out for a walk. Taehyung didn’t mind.
What he did mind what being kicked out of school, it was expected, but Jeongguk didn’t need to know. He didn’t need to know and he really didn’t have to find out. But he did.
“Taehyung! I went to go pay for your college, and I learn that you’ve been kicked out for good! What the fuck?” Jeongguk asked, clearly upset.
Taehyung shrugged and mumbled something that Jeongguk couldn’t hear. “What?” Jeongguk frowned.
“I said, I don’t even want to go to school that badly. Jeongguk you don’t understand how much stress I had. I wouldn't sleep for days . Now, it’s so nice. I don’t need to go to work, I can make whatever food I want, I can paint whenever I want too. I’m not pressured by giving the money to Wiheom. I, I’m not pressured anymore. I didn’t like going to school because I hated it. Yes, it was an art school, but deadlines and projects just weren’t and will never be my thing.” Taehyung said, tears building up in his eyes.
Jeongguk looked down at the younger with a fond expression and sat beside him on the couch. “Okay, you know how you said that you hate deadlines?” Taehyung nodded, frowning in confusion.
“Well, there’s this very rich art gallery that I go to from time to time. We could put your art up there. That way you can get money by doing something you like.” Jeongguk smiled. “But what does deadlines have to do with this?” Taehyung asked.
“It’s in three days. So if you could make some paintings by then, we can put them in. Trust me, you’ll get in. From there, it’s up to the buyers. I could threatened them, but I know you would want to play fair.” Jeongguk chuckled at Taehyung shocked expression.
“Are-are you serious?” Taehyung gasped. “Fuck yeah baby.” Jeongguk laughed as Taehyung ran upstairs to go start. “We can put a total of six of your paintings!” Jeongguk yelled. Taehyung screamed back, and Jeongguk sat there, laughing.
-
Taehyung had been working on paint for 12 hours, not taking too many breaks. Taehyung was 100% sure that he was going to put in those three paintings from when he met Jeongguk, and that he was going to paint the next three.
He’s already done one, and Taehyung was pretty impressed with himself. It was a six men at a table, all of them dressed in white and raised a glass. Each had a single apple on their plate, and the head of the table, the man was standing up. The background was pink and yellow, with black trees. ( Here )
The next one, the one he was working on, was seven men with their back to the viewers, staring up at a multicoloured globe, swirling with all the colours. The background was the same as the globe. Not his best work, but he didn’t have time to start over. ( Here )
The one that he was going to work on, was going to be a man with pink hair, emptying out water from shoes. He’ll be by the ocean, it will be quite simple, but simple is sometimes the best way to go. Taehyung already had a quick sketch of the third one, but he still needed to finish with the second one.
He was almost done, touching up some parts, making sure that everything was perfect. Jeongguk was in the room with him, and he could tell that the latter was tired. He sighed and got up, walking over to him.
“You should get some sleep, Tae. We still have tomorrow. Plus it’s like, three in the morning.” Jeongguk said, taking the paint brush from his hand and setting it down. Taehyung sighed, and relaxed, happy to take a break, but he really wanted to finish the painting.
“But-”
“No, I won’t accept this. You are going to stop now, eat some food and recharge. Come, let’s go eat.” Jeongguk said firmly, massaging Taehyung’s shoulders. Taehyung sighed again and nodded his head.
“Carry me~” Taehyung whined, leaning back against Jeongguk’s front. Jeongguk rolled his eyes, but did as he said. “I thought you didn’t like being picked up,” Jeongguk teased playfully, picking him up bridal style. Taehyung yawned and shrugged.
“I know you now.” He said, and Jeongguk looked down at Taehyung for much too long to be normal. “What?” Taehyung laughed, flustered. Jeongguk shook his head and smiled. “Nothing.”
-
They ended up eating ramen, but Taehyung was almost asleep, but Jeongguk refused to let him sleep in the bed if he didn’t take a shower. Taehyung said that he could sleep on the couch and Jeongguk made sure he took a shower.
What Taehyung didn’t eat, Jeongguk did. He shouted the younger into the shower, and made sure to hear if Taehyung slipped on something. He didn’t and came out of the in one piece. Jeongguk was reading through someone’s file when he came in to the room.
“What’s that?” Taehyung asked as he fell on the bed, and rolled over to the hitman. Jeongguk snorted at Taehyung, before putting the file down on the drawer beside the bed. “Just my next victim. He’s a special one.” Jeongguk said, and it was clear he didn’t want to talk about it.
Taehyung sighed and wrapped his limbs around Jeongguk, pulling him close. “Oh my god Tae.” Jeongguk groaned, but wrapped his arms around Taehyung too. He giggled and snuggled in his neck, Jeongguk shutting the light off, and both were asleep moments later.
-
“I’m done!” Taehyung said, running down the stairs, and thank god Jeongguk was at the bottom, because Taehyung tripped and Jeongguk literally caught him like a movie. Granted, Jeongguk’s knees buckled at the sudden weight, but he held his ground. “Tae,” He moaned, letting him go.
Taehyung smiled and pulled Jeongguk’s hand, now his wrist is covered in paint damn it, and brought him to the room where Taehyung was painting. He had touched up the second painting, and finished painting the last one. ( Here )
“That’s amazing Tae, I love it.” Jeongguk gasped, and it was true. It really was beautiful, the amount of detail was gorgeous. Taehyung giggled, and Jeongguk realized that he had paint on his cheek and nose.
“You have paint all over yourself.” Jeongguk laughed, wiping it with his finger, but it only made it worse, smudging it all over the place. Taehyung smiled widely, looking in Jeongguk’s eyes.
There was a brief moment where his eyes left his, and went down to his lips. Jeongguk watched Taehyung lick his lips, and made eye contact again. “Guk, can I call you Guk?” Taehyung whispered, leaning into Jeongguk’s palm. “You can,” Jeongguk hated when his friends called him that, but if it was Taehyung, he really couldn’t care less.
Taehyung bit his lip playfully, trying to hold his laughter in. “What?” Jeongguk snorted, Taehyung looked in awe at how flustered the hitman could get when they made eye contact. “You’re blushing.” He giggled.
“Am not!” Jeongguk retorted, now turning a darker red from being called out on. “Yes, you are. It’s cute.” Taehyung snickered. “You think I’m cute?” Jeongguk gushed, the way he looked made Taehyung forget about the amount of people he killed.
“How can I not think bunnies are cute? That would just be cruel.” Taehyung said, watching Jeongguk roll his eyes and pushed him away. He huffed and jumped on the bed playfully. Taehyung watched him, a fond smile placed on his lips.
The doorbell rang, and Taehyung jumped while Jeongguk frowned. He wasn’t expecting anyone, and if it was one of his friends, they would come in because they had the fingerprint set in memory. Jeongguk grabbed the gun from underneath the bed, and cautiously walked downstairs, Taehyung at his heels.
Jeongguk looked at the camera that was at the gates and frowned. It was a normal looking man, and it made Jeongguk even more confused.
“Wait with the dogs.” He ordered Taehyung, and the other didn’t argue. He went to go sit with the dogs, nervous for some reason. The dogs whined, and suddenly their heads were raised along with their ears, growling at something.
Taehyung looked around to see what they were looking at, but when he looked out the window, he couldn’t see anything. “Tae!” He heard Jeongguk yell, and he was about to respond when he felt a sharp pain in his neck. He turned his head, just enough to see who it was before he blacked out.
Jinsoo.
-
Jeongguk had no idea what happened.
He didn’t one second they were fine, they were fucking fine . And the next, he was gone, he was all gone and Jeongguk couldn’t do anything. He punched a hole through the wall, looking at where Taehyung was. He was there a second ago, and now he wasn't.
Jeongguk yelled out, pulling his gun out an shooting at the window. It shattered, and the dogs and cats scurried away from the loud noise. “Fuck!” Jeongguk yelled out. He called his hyungs and told them the situation. They were all going to be there in a couple of minutes.
Jeongguk didn’t even know what happened. He went to go answer the com, and all they said was, better watch out for your slut, before he heard glass breaking.
But when he went to the living room, he was gone, the back door wide open. He was gone as if he didn’t even exist in the first place. He fell to his knees, feeling tears prick at his eyes. He curled into a ball, sobbing, and didn’t move even when his hyungs came.
Jimin ran over to comfort him, but it wasn’t Taehyung, only Taehyung knew how to calm him down. Most of the group had never seen Jeongguk cry, but they would never point it out. Jeongguk cried out Taehyung’s name, wailing it as if he would come back if he yelled loud enough.
Yoongi walked over to him and gripped his hair, pulling him up. “Get a fucking grip of yourself. The more you cry like a bitch, the faster they’re getting away.” Yoongi ordered and almost immediately Jeongguk’s face turned blank, no expression. “Sorry,” He gruff voice said, and he sniffed telling his hyung what happened.
“I’ll get my people on the road.” Hoseok said, going out of the room to give his word. “I’ll look around for any cameras that caught sight of him.” Yoongi explained, taking his computer out of his purse. “There was a man at my door. Did you see him?” Jeongguk gasped, looking at anyone. They all shook their heads. Jeongguk hissed and punched the wall again.
-
Taehyung groaned as he came to. It was dark, and he was gagged, and his arms were tied on the armrest of a chair. He was sitting down in one, and it felt like his legs were tied down too. He didn’t panic, panicking would only make it worse. He took in deep breaths and tried to concentrate.
He was taken by Jinsoo, the leader of Wiheom, and he was with Jeongguk. Was Jeongguk okay? He was probably looking for him, and so he was safe. He would be fine. Taehyung stiffened as he heard heavy footsteps coming towards him. The bag on his head was ripped off, and he winced at the brightlight.
“Hello Taehyung, long time no see, huh?” Jinsoo said, smiling disgustingly. Taehyung refused to look at him. “Wow, he really made you his bitch, didn’t he? Golden Boy, out of all people, who just had to choose him, really? I mean, he’s quite pretty, I wonder what sounds he would make if I fucked him.” He grinned as Taehyung glared at him.
“Oh, did I hit a spot?” Taehyung growled at him like an animal. “Guess he didn’t tame you after all. Don’t worry though, I’ll just have to break you all over again.” He laughed at how scared Taehyung looked.
He caressed Taehyung cheek, grabbing his chin when Taehyung tried to pull away. “Now sweet, don’t make this difficult.” He cooed as he took of Taehyung’s gag. “I like to hear you.” He said as he unbuckled his belt. Taehyung said nothing, closing his eyes, and tried to think of something else.
He tried to think it was Jeongguk who was unbuckling his belt, smiling at him, telling him how much he loved him.
He imagined it was Jeongguk who entered him.
He tried to imagine it was Jeongguk, but it wasn’t.
It wasn’t Jeongguk, and they weren’t having sex. No, it was Jinsoo, and he was raping him.
It wasn’t Jeongguk, and Taehyung started to cry as the pain hit him.
He just wanted this to be over already, but deep down he knew it would be a while.
--
Two weeks, two fucking week and they haven’t got a damn lead on Taehyung yet.
Jeongguk hadn’t been sleeping at all, running on cocaine and coffee to keep him awake. Seokjin, being the mother that he was, made sure that he got some sleep by hitting him at the back of his head. Probably not the best way, but he needed to rest and any other way he wouldn’t do. So Seokjin had knocked him out.
A bing echoed through the room, and Yoongi squinted at Taehyung’s phone. He unlocked it, and checked who it was. “It’s from an unknown number. There’s a video with a text message saying ‘have fun, try not to have nightmares’.” Yoongi looked up at Seokjin. He walked over and sat down as Yoongi started to video.
It started out with a pitch black room, then the lights turned on. The camera took a second to adjust to the light, but when it did, the two gasped. Taehyung was curled up in a corner, a long chain attached to his neck was bolted to the cement ground.
He was naked, his arms above his head, all his toes were bruised, and some were sticking out awkwardly. It didn’t take an idiot to realize his toes were broken. His body was black and blue all over the place.
“Taehyungie, dinner time~” The man behind the camera sung. Taehyung was skinny, too skinny, ribs and hip bones poking out. His head looked up, his sunken eyes, and dark circles underneath, chapped lips and hickeys on his neck. The man threw a human hand at Taehyung, who stared at it before looking at the camera.
“Aren’t you gonna eat Taehyungie?” The man asked, coming closer to Taehyung. He flinched when the man pulled his hair and shoved his face to the ground. Taehyung cried out in pain, trying to jerk away from the hand. “Come now, I don’t need to bring the dogs, do I?” The man said, and Taehyung shook his head.
“N-no,” He whispered, tears falling from his eyes. “Aw, you’re so pretty when you cry.” The man said, caressing Taehyung cheek. “But eat .” The man said, and Taehyung shook his head. Another man with a mask on, came and gripped Taehyung’s hair, and pried his jaw open.
Taehyung shrieked, the camera man holding his hands down. He shoved the hand into his mouth and forced Taehyung to eat it. Yoongi watched as Seokjin ran to the sink to throw up. Yoongi skipped the part, feeling sick himself.
There was a part where the man was raping Taehyung, but Yoongi didn’t want to watch that. The video ended with the sounds of Taehyung screaming in pain. Yoongi gulped and set the phone down, trying to calm his stomach.
Seokjin came back, wiping his mouth. “Did you watch the whole thing?” He asked, leaning on the wall. “No, I’ll do some research on the house and watch the whole thing later. It’s pretty gruesome.” Yoongi sighed.
“I’ll try to hack into the number. See if I can find a location, but something tells me that it’ll be difficult.” Yoongi sighed, putting his hands on his face.
“But hyung, just imagine, if we can’t even watch the whole video, imagine going through that. I gotta give my respect to him, he seemed like such a good kid.” Yoongi felt so upset, and he knew that he wouldn’t get any sleep tonight.
-
Taehyung knew that it was a camera, and he knew that he was recording. He knew that he would send it to Jeongguk. He knew, and he wish he didn’t.
Taehyung lifted his head up, before dropping it back down. He didn’t have the strength to keep it up. He laid his head back down, and hoped to god that Jeongguk would find him soon.
-
Jeongguk woke up from his “nap”, and walked to the living room where everyone was standing around a phone, listening to something, or someone scream. “What’s going on?” He asked, rubbing his eyes and frowning. “Nothing.” Hoseok said, trying to hide the phone. Jeongguk got a better look and saw that it was Taehyung’s phone.
“Why do you have Taehyung’s phone?” Jeongguk stepped closer, and the others backed off, knowing that Jeongguk wasn’t in the mood to guess. “An unknown number texted a video. Good news is that the kids is alive. Bad news, I think he would be better off dead.” Yoongi sighed and told Hoseok to pass the phone to Jeongguk. He gulped and replayed the video.
He watched it, and as the lights turned on, he yelled. “Oh Taehyung!” Jeongguk sobbed, dropping to his knees. He continued to watch, crying. He watched the whole thing, crying the whole time, as if he could feel Taehyung’s pain. The video ended and he leaned forward, screaming at the ground.
Jeongguk was so unstable, mentally, no one really wanted to say anything. “I’m trying to hack into the number, and so far I have, but they’ve got a fucking good hacker and they’re not letting me through. I’ll keep trying, but don’t count on it.” Yoongi explained, glancing at his computer. Jeongguk hugged himself as he rocked back and forth on his heels, he had sat up while Yoongi was explaining.
Jeongguk nodded, “O-okay, keep, keep searching.” And left the room, leaving the phone there. Jimin sighed as he looked at Yoongi, the younger nodding, and Jimin running off to comfort him.
Namjoon sighed and hugged his lover tightly, feeling sorry for Taehyung and Jeongguk. “He’s going to break it we didn't find Taehyung.” Seokjin sighed, no one has ever seen Jeongguk cry so much.
“Yeah, Yoongi, go take a power nap, eat, shower, take a shit, and come back. You’ll be at this for days so best to rest up quickly.” Hoseok said, setting a hand on the hacker. Yoongi nodded and went to go take a warm bath and to take a nap after. “This is a mess.” Seokjin groaned, resting his head on Namjoon’s shoulder. “It is, but we can only hope that Taehyung will survive this.”
-
Taehyung really wanted to die, all he knew was pain pain pain. It hurt so badly, he just wanted it to end already. He had no idea how long its been, there were no windows, and Taehyung really wanted it to end. He was hungry, his whole body was screaming in pain, and he just wanted to cry.
He would throw up whatever human meat he would eat, and so he was starving constantly. Taehyung was going through the exact same thing like he did 10 years ago. Only then, he didn’t know what was happening. But now he did.
He really didn’t know why he wanted Jeongguk so badly, and most of the time he thought about the other. Taehyung whimpered as a different man came through the doors. He just wanted to die.
-
It’s been 14 hours, and Yoongi had been fighting with the other hacker. Everyone was lounging around, Hoseok’s, Namjoon, and Jeongguk men scattered around the city, waiting for an order. “Fuck.” Yoongi hissed, his hands flying over the keyboard, barely noticing the other men in the room. Jeongguk was on the couch, holding his head in his hands, waiting and hoping that Yoongi would be able to break through.
Yoongi’s lips twitched upwards. A good sign. Yoongi’s hands flew quicker. “Ok, I’m in!” Yoongi screamed, reading over the green print.
“1034 rouge street!” He yelled out suddenly.
Namjoon and Hoseok immediately called their men and told them to go to said address. Jeongguk only lifted his head and stared at Yoongi in shock. “What?” He whispered. “I found the address. We’re going to get your Taehyung back.” Yoongi smiled, watching as Jeongguk process the new information, before shoot up and running to his garage.
The sound of a motorcycle was sounded seconds later before it went off in the distance. “We should go too.” Namjoon said. “Clear the streets.” He ordered Hoseok, and the other nodded.
-
“Fuck! We need to leave, now!” Jinsoo screamed. Taehyung looked up to see what was happening. “Why boss?” One of the men asked. “They fucking found our location, we need to go now.” He hissed, helping Taehyung to his feet, but Taehyung fell down, unable to walk on broken toes. He whimpered, and looked at the ground. “Who?”
“Fucking Golden Boy! We need to get-” He didn’t continue, stopping short as the door flung open.
“Well boys, I think you have something dearest to me.” Jeongguk voice rang through his head.
Was he hallucinating? That couldn’t be Jeongguk, because that would mean he was here to save him.
Taehyung whipped his head up as he stared at the man walking down the stairs, no one having the guts to even lift a gun at the hitman. His eyes were glowing with rage, the smile on his lips was dark, before landing his eyes on Taehyung. Taehyung whined and his eyes shined with tears.
“Hold on a little longer Tae. We’re going home.” Jeongguk said, loading his gun. Jinsoo was furious, he grabbed Taehyung, or tried to, but Taehyung bit his hand, making the man yell. “On the ground!” A deeper voice said, and Taehyung saw a well dressed man, but it seemed like stress was getting the best of him. He was carrying a gun, beside Jeongguk.
The men in the room dropped to the floor, except for a few, which were dead on the spot. Jeongguk blew on the gun, smirking at Jinsoo. “Let him go,” Jeongguk said too sweetly, walking down the stairs dramatically.
The other man shot every man on the ground, all dead instantly. “No one’s going to protect you now.” Jeongguk smirked, taking a slow step towards them.
Jinsoo hissed grabbing Taehyung’s neck tightly. Taehyung groaned as he tried to stand on his heels. He was naked, but that was the least of his worries.
“No.” Jinsoo said, and almost immediately a bullet flew by him, grazing his ear. “Once more, and I won’t miss.” Jeongguk threatened, walking closer. Jinsoo stepped back, hitting the wall. Taehyung looked up at him, loving the look of fear on his face.
Jinsoo pulled his own gun out, pressing it to Taehyung’s head. “I’ll fucking shoot him if you get any closer.” Jinsoo’s voice shook. Jeongguk stopped and looked at Taehyung before looking at the man.
“You kill him, I swear to fuck, I’ll make you want death.” Jeongguk said lowly, shooting one of the men on the ground, in the head, without looking. Jinsoo flinched, and his hand shook. They all knew that Jinsoo was going to die either way. It was his choice to have a fast death, or a slow one.
Taehyung stared at Jeongguk, smiling at him. He smiled back, stepping closer to them. “I will do it. I’ll do it and then I’ll shoot myself.” Jinsoo promised. Suddenly something hit Jinsoo’s shoulder, and he yelped in pain, letting Taehyung go.
Taehyung fell to his knees, Jeongguk catching him by the waist. “Hey,” Jeongguk said, smiling at him, forgetting the world around him. Taehyung smiled back. “Hi,” He whispered back, his arms around Jeongguk’s shoulder.
There was something happening behind him, and suddenly Jeongguk spun them around, and Taehyung could hear a gun go off. Taehyung stiffened, looking at Jeongguk’s face, watching blood drip from Jeongguk’s mouth.
“Guk?” Taehyung asked, as they fell. Jeongguk nearly landed on Taehyung, but all Taehyung could do was grab the gun from Jeongguk’s hand and shooting Jinsoo on the shoulder. He didn’t want to kill him, no, he didn’t deserve that.
Taehyung crawled over to him, and elbowed him in the nose, breaking it, and Jinsoo smacking his head on the walls, unconscious. Taehyung glared at him before remembering Jeongguk.
“No, no no.” Taehyung as he crawled towards Jeongguk’s body, shaking his shoulders. “You came this fucking far you cannot die. ” Taehyung hissed, slapping Jeongguk’s face to keep him awake.
“Taehyung, you’re okay,” Jeongguk smiled softly, lifting his hand to hold Taehyung’s cheek., and Taehyung covered the hand with his own.
“I’m okay, and you’re going to be okay, you hear me? We’re going home and we’re going to live together. Understand?” Taehyung’s voice shook as tears spilled over his cheeks. “Of course. I still have to do so many things with you.” Jeongguk coughed, moaning in pain.
“Stay with me. The ambulance is going to be here, so don't you fucking dare die on me.” Taehyung hissed, his lip wobbling from trying to keep his tears in.
“Come here.” Jeongguk gasped wet, and Taehyung let out a sob as he leaned down closer to Jeongguk’s face. “Yes, what is it?” Taehyung cried, looking into Jeongguk’s eyes. “Closer?” He asked, and Taehyung did just that.
He leaned even closer, and with whatever strength Jeongguk had left, lifted his head and pressed his lips against Taehyung’s. Taehyung’s eyes widened, and was going to kiss him back, but he fell limp.
Taehyung looked down at Jeongguk beneath him. His breathing was slowing down, and Taehyung’s world stopped. “No, no, no, no. ” Taehyung cried out.
“You are not fucking leaving me!” Taehyung screamed as he tried his best to pump Jeongguk’s chest.
“This isn’t happening.” Taehyung hissed as he heard screams. Taehyung leaned down and pressed his ear against Jeongguk’s chest, barely feeling any beat. It used to be so strong.
“Oh god please don’t.” Taehyung begged. “Please let this one good thing stay in my life.” Taehyung felt someone go behind him, and tried to pull him away. “ NO!” Taehyung screamed as a paramedic came and lifted Jeongguk away in a stretcher.
“No! He's mine! Don't take him!” Taehyung shouted, ignoring all the pain in his body and tried to get up. “Fuck, just relaxed kid.” A familiar voice behind him said, but Taehyung didn’t listen, and kept screaming until he felt a needle prick in his hand.
“Sorry, but it’s for the best.” The paramedic smiled sadly and caught Taehyung as he fell forward. “Jeongguk,” Taehyung whispered before blacking out.
--
When Taehyung woke up, everything hurt. And there was annoying beeping sound. Taehyung gasped in pain as he remembered everything.
“Jeongguk!” He yelled out, the beeping sound going quicker and quicker.
“Be quiet Tae, you’ll wake someone.” A voice said. His voice. Jeongguk’s voice.
Taehyung gasped and sat up, ignoring the pain in his backside and hips, and looked around the white room to set eyes on him .
Their beds were pressed against one anothers, wrapped up at the legs to make sure it didn’t separate. “Oh my god.” Taehyung whispered, looking over Jeongguk’s features. His pale skin and dark circles wasn’t any better than Taehyung.
“Are, are you real?” Taehyung gasped, reaching a hand out to touch Jeongguk. He smiled and grabbed Taehyung’s hand free of IV needles, and brought it up to his face.
Taehyung gasped as he felt the warm skin underneath his palm. His fingers curled before splaying out on his face.
“Oh my god,” Taehyung said again, Jeongguk moving his face to the side so Taehyung’s hand covered his mouth. Taehyung lip wobbled, as the tears sprung into his eyes.
“I thought, I thought you died. You’re heart was barely beating, oh god! You fucking left me!” Taehyung cried out, slapping Jeongguk’s face. Everything was silent except for the beeping of the heart monitors.
“Okay, I deserve that.” Jeongugk jokes, rubbing his red cheek, but the stinging pain in his cheek was gone as soon as Taehyung pressed his lips against his.
Both their monitors sped up, and Taehyung cried softly as he kissed Jeongguk softly. He kissed back passionately, their kiss full of love and passion.
“You never let me kiss you back.” Taehyung cried, letting his head fall onto Jeongguk’s shoulder. “I’m sorry.” Jeongguk whispered, petting Taehyung hair, careful not to pull too hard on the IV stuck to his hand.
A nurse came in, but rushed over to Taehyung, trying to pull him away. “Honey, you got some major injuries. You gotta sit back and not do anything to harm your wounds.” The female nurse said gently.
Taehyung scowled at her, not making any signs to move from Jeongguk’s side. “Alright, just hold on for a second.” She sighed and placed a pillow underneath his hips, and another one under his feet so they rested comfortably on the soft pillow. Taehyung winced in pain, but stayed by Jeongguk’s side, the older wrapping his arm around him, bringing him closer.
“Okay you two, don’t do anything that involves raising your heart too much. Especially you Jeon. You’re heart can’t take too much blood at once, so try to calm down and just cuddle. And sleep.” The nurse said, more friendly than professional.
“Okay Rose, we’ll be fine.” Jeongguk rolled his eyes and looked down at the boy in his arms. Taehyung smiled back and pecked his lips, still crying softly. The nurse left, and Taehyung sniffed in the quiet room, or somewhat quiet.
Yoongi was snoring in a chair, Jimin in his lap, curled up like a cat, both sleeping. Taehyung recognized Jimin briefly, but he didn’t know where, but Taehyung didn’t mind, all he cared about what Jeongguk.
“I thought you died,” Taehyung whispered, taking Jeongguk’s hand in his own. “You can’t get rid of me that easily.” Jeongguk joked, but he knew Taehyung wouldn’t be able to sleep without him anymore. “You kissed me, and then you went limp. I don’t remember feeling anything.” Taehyung sobbed, very emotional.
Jeongguk kissed his forehead, breathing in the scent of Taehyung, even though it smelt gross from the lack of care in his hair for the last few weeks. Taehyung’s shoulders shook as he tried to hold everything in, trying to focus on Jeongguk.
Taehyung sighed and snuggled down, trying to calm down. “How long was I asleep for?” Taehyung asked, closing his eyes and listened to the beat of Jeongguk’s heart. “About a week. You’re body kinda shut down, and you slipped into a small coma. But you’re fine now.” Jeongguk explained and Taehyung nodded.
“What about you?” Taehyung asked, drawing small patterns on Jeongguk’s chest. “I was shot right above the heart, the bullet grazing a major artery. I barely survived, but I’m not done with you just yet.” Jeongguk spoke in a soft tone, rubbing his cheek against Taehyung’s hair. Taehyung stayed silent, before asking, “What about me?”
“You suffer malnourishment, and pretty bad injuries near your ass. The rim was torn in multiple places, multiple times. You're neck and wrist have some heavy bruising and your toes are broken. They can’t really do anything about that, but make sure that you don’t walk on them until they heal somewhat.” Jeongguk sighed, swallowing his own lump in his throat.
“Oh, that’s nothing.” Taehyung scoffed, and Jeongguk made a sound of surprised.
“What do you mean? You have some major injuries Tae.” Jeongguk argued back.
“I do, but this isn’t anything compared to what happened to me the first time. I was really skinny, like drop dead skinny, and I had a major concussion. I had the worse slashes wounds on my back and the back of my thighs, they didn’t think they had enough skin to stitch up the really deep ones. My fingers and toes were broken and I had bad lacerations on my wrists and ankles. My rim was torn and the inside was too.
Jeongguk I had fucking maggots in my leg when they found me. They were eating my skin alive, and not to mention I had the worse bladder problems. I wasn’t allowed to go pee a lot, so the muscle that was keeping my pee in was so loose that I couldn’t control it. Even now, I still have to go every hour to make sure I don’t piss myself.
I was going through hell back then, and I didn’t know how to speak proper korean because I was taken when I was a child. I could only say things like ‘I’m a good boy’ and ‘it feels so good’ and ‘I’m a good slut’. Things like that, things that they would make me say. I was a cannibal as a child, sometimes they would throw a child’s body in the room, and it would be ripped apart. Dead and alive.” Taehyung laughed as he looked at Jeongguk’s expression.
“I told you my past was dark, but that’s not all.” He smiled sadly and continued.
“I was their favourite, so if I was good, they would reward me. Food and water, not blood and guts. I learned to draw by asking for a pencil and paper sometimes. But when I wasn’t good, the worse things would happen to me. They raped me until I blacked out, and continued even when I was unconscious. If I threw up or pissed myself, I would need to eat or drink it.
They would put me in dog mating stands and tie me up, stretching me out enough to take a dog’s cock . They would rub a female dog scent in heat all over me and then the dog would knot me and they would try to pull me away and it would hurt like a bitch, ha, no pun intended.” Taehyung snorted as if it was a funny story.
“They would cut me up so badly, in some places they went down to the bone. I needed to fucking rape enfants in order to survive, Jeongguk. The look the their eyes, once so soft and innocent was wailing for their mommy. I hurt them and I hate myself for it.” Taehyung stopped when he heard Jeongguk choke on a sob.
He looked up and saw his red face, trying not to cry. Taehyung cooed and comforted him as he cried softly. “I told you my past wasn’t good. And you kept insisting, I fucking knew this was going to happen.” Taehyung said, knowing that he was disgusting.
“I-Im sorry. I didn’t know.” Jeongguk whimpered, hugging Taehyung tightly.
“I didn’t want to tell you because I knew this would happen. So when I say this is nothing, it really means this is nothing . I’ve gone through worse for years, Guk.” Taehyung whispered softly, rubbing their noses together.
Jeongguk sniffed and Taehyung smiled at the innocent look on his face. “You really don’t look like the worlds most feared hitman.” Taehyung giggled and Jeongguk scoffed.
“I was a mess while you were gone. I wouldn’t sleep or eat or anything. And then those sick fucks sent a video, and I was happy that you were alive, but some part of me wish you were dead so you didn’t need to suffer anymore.” Jeongguk said truthfully, and Taehyung wasn’t mad at all.
“I get that.” Taehyung reassured, and Jeongguk nodded his head. “Okay.” He whispered, closing his eyes as he tried not to cry anymore.
“Also, what does the kiss mean?” Taehyung asked, confused in the slightest. “I, I like you? Like a lot.” Jeongguk blushed, his bunny teeth showing. “I think I like you too. I’ve never had time to like someone.” Jeongguk opened his eyes and raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah, I know. I’ve fucked plenty of people, but I don’t really have time for feelings and whatever. I’ve never dated either.” Taehyung added smiling at Jeongguk.
“But I know that I want to date you. You make my stomach feel all weird.” Jeongguk crinkled his nose. “Okay, then, Kim Taehyung will you be my boyfriend?” Taehyung laughed and rolled his eyes. “Why of course. Jeon Jeongguk, I will become your boyfriend.” Taehyung joked and kissed Jeongguk, moving their lips gently against each others.
“But no sex for now.” Taehyung said seriously and Jeongguk nodded immediately. “I’m 100% okay with that. We don’t need to rush anything. And I get if you don’t want sex in our relationship at all.” Jeongguk added after a moment of silence.
“No, I want to, just, give me some time.” Taehyung yawned, feeling his eyelids drift closed. Jeongguk watched fondly as Taehyung fell asleep. He stayed awake for a few for minutes, making sure that Taehyung was comfortable.
“I’ll wait for you, forever.” Jeongguk whispered, kissing his forehead and snuggling down, falling asleep.
--
The next few weeks was plain recovery, not doing anything but watching movies and cuddling. Taehyung was finally allowed to eat solid foods. He wasn’t allowed to have solids until today because the doctors were afraid Taehyung wouldn’t be able to handle solids. They’ve been feeding him through a tube, giving him the needed vitamins and nutrition to survive.
Taehyung was still really weak, and couldn’t walk yet, especially on his toes, so Jeongguk had to spoon feed him. Jeongguk looked at the food Taehyung was going to eat, it was nothing special. Plain rice and a few vegetables, no seasoning whatsoever, and Taehyung couldn’t be more disgusted.
“I’d rather fucking starve than eat food with any fucking falour.” He was pissed, he wanted to have ice cream and pizza and everything beside this. Jeongguk rolled his eyes and brought a chunk on rice towards Taehyung’s lip.
“I’ll kiss you after.” Jeongguk tried and Taehyung eat the rice so quickly that Jeongguk thought he bit some of the chopsticks off too. Jeongguk laughed, his chest hurting from doing so, but Taehyung was too funny.
Taehyung smiled with a mouthful of rice, and Jeongguk groaned. “You’re special,” Jeongguk mumbled, and Taehyung giggled. Yoongi walked in and immediately cringed.
“Ew, nasty.” Yoongi said, although he wasn’t actually grossed out. “Hey hyung, what’s up?” Jeongguk greeted, feeding Taehyung a carrot.
“Nothing much. You really gave everyone a scare though. Hyung’s gonna kill you.” Yoongi smiled, eating the chips he got from the vending machine. Jeongguk nodded, not even looking at Yoongi.
“Okay,” He said, Taehyung laughing. Yoongi smiled and shook his head, never seen Jeongguk so happy before. The way he looked at Taehyung was something else. He left the room and the two didn’t even notice, too caught up in each other.
--
Taehyung looked over at Jeongguk, who was sweating. He had gotten a really high fever, and the bullet wound got infected. He would be fine, just like he promised. Taehyung wasn’t allowed to be too close, so he stayed on his side of the bed, holding his warm hand.
Jeongguk swallowed and opened his eyes, but was still asleep, in a way. His eyes were glazed over, and he didn’t respond to anything in front of him.
A nurse came in to check his temperature, the worried look on her face was enough for Taehyung to know that the fever had gone even higher. “Is there anything you can do?” Taehyung begged, looking over at Jeongguk who had a glazed look in his eyes. His skin was shiney with a layer of sweat, and his face was flushed red but he was pale.
“We’re giving him everything we can. We just need to hope that the fever will go down.” Rose smiled, checking Taehyung’s reflexes, making sure everything was okay with him.
“But what if it doesn’t go down?” Taehyung asked, looking scared as he stared at the hand he was holding.
“It will.” Rose promised, and Taehyung hoped it would be true.
-
It was true, Jeongguk’s fever went down in the next few days, and Taehyung couldn’t be happier. After that, it was back on recovery. “This is fucking pathetic.” Jeongguk scowled as he tried to sit up, wincing in pain. Taehyung rolled his eyes, and helped Jeongguk sit up. It was part of the exercise, to try and sit up every so often.
“What is?” “The fact that I’ve been bed ridden, I’m putting on weight and I fucking can’t get up. I’m so vulnerable, it’s not even funny.” Taehyung laughed. “You’re growing a stubble too.” Taehyung grinned, rubbing Jeongguk’s chin, feeling it prick his hands. Jeongguk groaned and flopped back down.
Taehyung had started to walk, his toes healing quickly, but it still hurt from time to time. Taehyung was still skinny, and so they allowed him to eat whatever he wanted until he put on some weight. Taehyung was recovering quickly, while Jeongguk wasn’t.
At least, not as fast as he wanted.
All the things he said was true, and it pissed him off. Taehyung could tell the older was getting upset, and he pressed a kiss to his lips. “I wonder what you’d look like with a bread.” Taehyung giggled, kissing his chin. “Want me to shave you?” He asked, getting the supplies because he knew that Jeongguk wanted to. “Sure.” Jeongguk sighed as Taehyung went to the bathroom and filled a small cup with warm water.
He set the needed things on the small table beside the bed, and climbed over him, straddling Jeongguk’s hips, and grabbed the bottle of shaving cream. He put some in his hands, giggling as he touched it with his other hand before bringing it to Jeongguk’s face.
He applied it evenly, all on the lower half of his face and on his neck too. Jeongguk sighed again, closing his eyes and resting his head on the pillow, letting Taehyung do whatever. Taehyung wiggled around trying to get comfortable and Jeongguk’s hands went to his hips to still him.
“God dammit you fucking tease.” Jeongguk groaned and let Taehyung go as Taehyung blushed and apologized, but he wasn’t sorry as all. Taehyung grabbed the razor and began steady strokes down Jeongguk’s face. Jeongguk really like the feeling of it, his stomach warm.
Taehyung was careful not to cut him, sticking his tongue out in concentration. Every so often he would dip the razor in the water to clean it form the cream, and continue. “Tilt your head back.” Taehyung whispered, and Jeongguk did just that to help him with the underside.
Taehyung finished, rubbing a damp cloth over his face. Jeongguk looked at him and smiled, bringing him close to kiss. Their lips moved against one another, testing the limits. Taehyung opened his mouth slightly, feeling Jeongguk’s tongue slip in meet Taehyung.
Taehyung groaned softly as their tongues battled for dominance, Jeongguk winning and Taehyung him do whatever he wanted. Taehyung brought his arms to let them rest on his shoulders, pressing closer.
Jeongguk snaked a hand around his waist, securing him. Taehyung rubbed his tongue against his before pulling away. There was a string of saliva between their lips, and Jeongguk followed it back to the red and swollen lip of Taehyung, sucking on his.
He let Taehyung go, panting along with Taehyung. Taehyung had a nice blush along his cheeks, while Jeongguk had a light flush. He smiled and Taehyung smiled back, hugging him, and resting his head on his shoulders after he took down his arms. They didn’t say anything, just stayed silent, embracing each others warmth.
--
“How long was I gone for?” Taehyung asked, sitting by the window as he watched tear drops slide down the glass as it rained heavily.
“A little over two weeks. Why?” Jeongguk asked from his bed, still not feeling well enough to get up with help. Taehyung shrugged, tracing his finger down the window. “I dunno. It seemed like forever, you know? But at the same time it didn’t because I blanked out a lot, thinking of you.” Taehyung looked over when he said that.
“I thought about what I would do when you found me. I thought about the art show and how we were going to celebrate with someone buying my paintings. And even if I didn't get anything, we’d still go out and drink expensive wine, because you made me. You’d be all happy and whatever.” Taehyung sniffed, and Jeongguk gestured for him to come to the bed.
“I, I thought about getting another dog, maybe a cat. I’ve always wanted to have snakes, but you seemed to be the badass person to be afraid of snakes. And I would beg you until you finally gave in and got me a snake.” They both laughed as Taehyung sat on the bed, looking at Jeongguk’s eyes. “And I would chase you with the snake you would scream like a little girl, running to the kitchen and pointing knives at me.” Jeongguk snorted, he wasn’t that afraid of snakes. “Am I right?” Taehyung giggled as he leaned down to press his forehead against Jeongguk’s.
“50%.” And Taehyung threw his head back to shout out a yes. Jeongguk watched him fondly, trying to not think about the things Taehyung went through for two weeks.
He seemed okay, and he didn’t want to ruin it. So Jeongguk smiled and kissed Taehyung.
--
“Guk! You’re cleared to go home!” Taehyung yelled, excited, hugged Jeongguk. “Yay,” Jeongguk grumbled, getting into a wheelchair. “Oh come on! We’ll do so much fun things.” Taehyung smirked and Jeongguk knew what he meant.
They talked about sex, and agreed to not do anything until Taehyung is healed mentally and physically, but Taehyung suggested that they could do other things depending on his day.
Jeongguk told him that it was fine, but he reassured Taehyung that he didn’t need to push himself. Taehyung shook his head and that he wanted to. Taehyung had been healing quite well, but his nightmares didn’t stop, even when he slept beside Jeongguk.
His toes were sore, but they healed right and the bruising had finally gone away. His rim was healing slowly, and he was on pills to soften his stool so he didn’t tear it up again.
Jeongguk had been doing well too. His wound was almost healed up, but he couldn’t do anything drastic like running or working out. He was told to move slowly and to not push himself until his physical checkup.
He lost some of his muscles, and got a little rounder in the face, but Taehyung thought that it was adorable. Jeongguk hated it though, and Taehyung knew that he would have to watch Jeongguk closer because he knew that he would Jeongguk will try to get rid of the fat by working out when he wasn’t supposed to.
Taehyung had to eat as much food as he could because his metabolism is so fucked up, he needs to eat a lot of food just to make sure he gains weight. Jeongguk loved feeding him, and couldn’t wait to cook for Taehyung.
“Come on bun, let’s go.” Taehyung huffed as he pushed the wheelchair, all of their things were already at home thanks to Yoongi. Jeongguk scoffed at the nickname, but didn’t say anything because he loved it.
Taehyung walked slowly, making his way to Jeongguk’s car. He helped him into the passenger seat and put the chair in the back, before climbing in the driver's seat and driving to Jeongguk’s place. “I want to sell my apartment.” Taehyung said, biting his lip. Jeongguk eyed him, knowing that he was nervous for some reason.
“Okay, you’ll live at my place?” Jeongguk asked and Taehyung nodded. “Yeah, I know we just started dating, but we’ve known each other for a couple of months.” Taehyung mumbled, hoping that Jeongguk would agree.
“Of course.” He agreed, thrilled to have Taehyung officially move to his place. “And I promise to take you out on a date after I get the okay.” Jeongguk promised, loving the way Taehyung’s cheeks turned red. “Uh, yeah, sure.” Taehyung stuttered, flustered. Jeongguk smiled as he pulled up at the gate.
“Put your finger there.” Jeongguk told him, and Taehyung did, confused. The gates opened when it scanned Taehyung’s thumb, and he gasped. “You got my print in the system?” Taehyung said, happy. Jeongguk nodded. “Of course, love. How couldn’t I?” Jeongguk chuckled at the other expression.
Taehyung didn’t even ask how they got it in, Jeongguk’s closest friend is a hacker, so there really wasn’t any point in asking. Taehyung opened the garage and parked the car.
He helped Jeongguk get out, and tried to get him into the wheelchair, but the older man refused. Taehyung huffed and let him do whatever he wanted, but brought the wheelchair just incase. Jeongguk was slow to get up the stairs to the front of the house, but unlocked it. The dogs sniffed Taehyung, ignoring Jeongguk, and was all over him.
“Hi, guys. Be careful with Guk, he’s hurt.” Taehyung warned, and it seemed like the dogs could understand him. “It seems like they can understand me. It’s creepy.” Taehyung grumbled, helping Jeongguk to the couch. “I know,” Jeongguk snorted as a cat came and sat on his lap. He stroked it, listening to it purr.
“Who took care of the animals while we were gone?” Taehyung asked, coming to sit down beside Jeongguk, taking the cat out of his lap and into his own. “I have caretakers that walks and feed the dogs, same with the cats.” Jeongguk explained, turning on the tv.
They relaxed, not doing anything but cuddling and eating while watching netflix for the rest of the night. And week.
--
It’s been two weeks since Jeongguk was admitted out, and he’s been healing really well. Taehyung had gotten the okay from the doctor that if Jeongguk does well on the physical, he can start working out. Jeongguk had been excited too, wanting to get up and run for hours with the amount of energy he had pent up.
Taehyung parked, and went to go help Jeongguk, but he got waved off. “Im fine baby, I can’t have you always helping me.” Jeongguk smiled, snaking his arm around Taehyung’s waist and kiss him gently.
They haven’t done anything but intense making out, but nothing drastic. Taehyung wasn’t in the okay yet for his own physical, but even if he was, he didnt want to do anything. It was too soon and even kissing sometimes freaks Taehyung out.
One time, Jeongguk tugged his hair to deepen the kiss and Taehyung screamed, kicking Jeongguk in the stomach to push him away. He apologized profusely, but Jeongguk said he deserved it, and said that he would ask next time. Taehyung felt bad, but Jeongguk understood where he was coming from, and just told him that he was fine.
“Okay, let’s go.” Taehyung said, taking Jeongguk’s hand in his and linking their fingers together. Jeongguk smiled, and walked inside. Taehyung had some trouble going out in public sometimes as well, feeling paranoid that something would happen, like the grocery store months ago.
Jeongguk reassured him that he would protect Taehyung at all costs, and no doubt would take a bullet for him again. Taehyung sorted and said jokingly that Jeongguk would protect him with all his chub.
Jeongguk hated that he gained so much weight, but if he did well, Taehyung would let him work out. He enjoyed working out as well, loved the feeling of sweating from hard work. He would go on a strict diet, and burn off all the fat, so instead of having a round face, it would be filled with high cheekbones and a sharp jawline. His squishy stomach, that Taehyung loved too much, would go back to the hard six-pack and v-line. His thighs would have grown more muscles, thick with muscle and not fat.
“Jeongguk?” The doctor asked, and they both stood up. They went to the room, and sat down on the bed while Taehyung sat in the chair, smiling at Jeongguk. He took off his short and did everything the doctor asked him. All the while the doctor was nodding, happy with the results. He sat down at his computer and looked at the screen.
“All Jeon, you are all good.” Jeongguk whooped, dancing a little with Taehyung. “Now, nothing too drastic, just simple things. No heavy lifting, but you can start with just working with your own body, if you want. Push ups, squats, sit ups, walking up and down the stairs, but no lifting. You are not cleared for that yet.” The doctor said, more to Taehyung who was actually listened.
“Of course, thank you doctor.” Taehyung said, handing Jeongguk his shirt. “Okay, and no sex as well.” The doctor warned and Taehyung flushed, telling his thank you and leaving the room with Jeongguk.
“Okay, so. We’re going tonight to celebrate.” Jeongguk smiled, and Taehyung was nervous because something about the smile meant, not dinner and wine. Taehyung gulped, and nodded.
“Okay, let's go now, actually. We don’t need to be dressed or anything.” Jeongguk smiled and got in the driver's seat. “Oh god, should I be scared?” Taehyung joked, but there was a hint of nervousness underneath his tone.
“Nope, you’ll love it.” Jeongguk smiled and pecked his cheek before driving. Taehyung held his hand, feeling his thumb brush over his hand comfortingly. When they reached the place, Taehyung knew what was happening.
“Oh my god Jeongguk. Oh my god, are you serious?” Taehyung screamed, jumping in his seat, making the car wobbles slightly. Jeongguk smirked. “I’m fucking serious.” And Taehyung screamed again, his hands flying everywhere.
They climbed out and Taehyung couldn’t contain his excitement. Taehyung shook with joy as they entered the building. The sounds of dogs barking made Taehyung melt. He loved dogs even if his past gave him chills. “I’m here for Soonshim.” Jeongguk said at the front desk, and they nodded, bringing them to a cage.
They walked down rows of dogs, before stopping at one. Inside was a adorable white and fluffy dog, who barked when Jeongguk appeared. “Oh my god, he’s so cute.” Taehyung cried, sticking his fingers through the cage, nearly crying when the dog licked them. “He’s to be euthanized today. Do you want to take him?” The man asked, and Taehyung nodded while Jeongguk affirmed.
“Okay, I’m not going to have you go through paper work again. You’ve adopt who knows how many animals from here, so just give the payment, and we’re good.” The man nodded as Jeongguk gave him cash. “We’re keeping him?” Taehyung asked, sniffling from happy tears.
“We are. His name is Soonshim.” Jeongguk said, crouching down beside Taehyung. The man unlocked the cage, and hooked Soonshim to a leash, passing to to Taehyung before leaving. The dog jumped on Taehyung, and he fell on his butt, hugging the white dog, crying softly.
“Tae you okay baby?” Jeongguk asked, seeing his tears. “Yeah,” Taehyung sobbed, running his hands through the fur. He got licked in the face and giggled wetly. “Then why are you crying?” Jeongguk laughed softly. “Happy tears, Guk. Happy tears.” Taehyung whispered, giving the dog a kiss on his wet nose.
Jeongguk smiled and helped Taehyung up, walking him to the car. “Let's go home, yeah? And I’m gonna fucking work out.” Jeongguk grumbled the last bit, helping Soonshim in the back after placing a blanket on the seats to make sure his claws didn’t rip up the expensive leather. They got in the car and drove home.
-
Soonshim was welcomed by the other dogs quickly, and didn’t have any problem. They played in the backyard for hours, leaving Taehyung alone with Jeongguk. “I’m so happy.” Taehyung smiled, hugging the other.
“Thank you.” Taehyung whispered, and Jeongguk replied by giving him a sweet kiss in the forehead. Jeongguk left to go upstairs, Taehyung following him. They went to the workout room where it had weights and bars, machines and everything else that Taehyung didn't know.
Jeongguk took his shirt off and put a tank top that was lying around. He started immediately, doing push-ups and pulls-up on the bars, and doing sit ups in the bar by hanging upside down by his legs. Taehyung’s watched him, memorized, sitting on floor, watching him workout for hours.
When Jeongguk finally stopped, panting and bent over, sweat dripping off his face and landing on the ground, Taehyung handed him a towel to wipe it off. “Thanks, it feels to finally workout.” Jeongguk smiled, his face shiney.
He went to go kiss Taehyung but the other pulled away quickly. “You smell, and you’re sweaty. Don’t even think about kissing me.” Taehyung said, and Jeongguk pouted, but Taehyung refused to break. “No. Go take a shower and make me food.” Taehyung ordered, half joking, and Jeongguk smiled.
“Yes sir,” Jeongguk said playfully, but he saw Taehyung tense up. “Please don’t say that.” His voice was small, and he looked at the ground.
Jeongguk was taken aback, not realizing that using the word ‘sir’ was bad, until now. “Yes, of course Tae. I’m sorry.” Jeongguk apologized, bending down to get in Taehyung’s vision that was rested on the ground.
Taehyung smiled slightly, Jeongguk stood up straight, pulling Taehyung closer. “I wasn’t kidding, you stink.” Taehyung mumbled against his chest, but didn’t do anything to pull away. Jeongguk’s laugh vibrated his cheek, and Taehyung closed his eyes, enjoying the arms wrapped around him for once.
“Okay, I’ll go take a shower, and then I’ll cook something for you. I’m going to need to cook separately for myself, I’m going on a diet.” Jeongguk pulled away and Taehyung nearly whined from the lack of warmth.
Taehyung nodded, and they went to Jeongguk’s bedroom, and he waited for Jeongguk to finish while he laid down on the bed, and fell asleep accidentally.
-
When Jeongguk came out, he was surprised, but didn’t wake Taehyung, knowing that sleep was something sacred these days. He got dressed and picked Taehyung up so he could tuck him in, and the younger stirred, but Jeongguk simply pressed Taehyung’s head into his neck, and immediately calmed down.
He purposefully picked his own pillow for Taehyung to make sure that could smell his scent, and hopefully wouldn’t get anymore nightmares. He went downstairs to start cooking up something for Taehyung and himself.
He sighed, as he stared at the floor, feeling his eyes start to water and the there was a lump in his throat, before breaking down at the fact that he almost died. He almost died and left Taehyung in the world alone, he almost did that.
Jeongguk’s shoulders shook, and he let out a small sob, pressing his forehead on the ground as he tried to keep his emotions in. Jeongguk sniffed and turned off the stove, there wasn’t anything on it yet, and ran upstairs. He ran to his bedroom and went straight to Taehyung. He held him in his arms, reminding himself that he was there, and he was okay. Taehyung woke up for a second, turning around to hug Jeongguk properly.
“Hey, Guk, what’s wrong?” Taehyung asked, still a little groggy, but almost fully awake upon seeing a his boyfriend crying. Jeongguk shook his head and pressed it face into Taehyung’s neck, the latter feeling wetness on his neck.
Taehyung frowned, but rubbed his back, and shushed him gently. “Baby, whats wrong? You can tell me.” Taehyung whispered, pressing soft kisses to where he could reach.
“I, I almost died.” He hiccuped, amrs tightening around Taehyung. Taehyung ignored the tightness, trying not to think of his past, and cooed softly.
“You did,”
“I-I almost left you, alone.” He sobbed, a loud and ugly sound. Taehyung whimpered, “You did, but you didn’t. You’re here now.” Taehyung reassured, running his hands through Jeongguk’s black locks. “B-but I,” Jeongguk tried but Taehyung hushed him, and simply held him back. It might’ve been minutes or hours, but they just stayed there, before falling asleep.
(Taehyung gave him quite the earful about doing that because they both went to bed starving).
--
Taehyung was going to go to his place, and pick up a few things. Jeongguk offered to come and help, but Taehyung rolled his eyes and told him that he would be fine. Jeongguk had a meeting with his group, and Taehyung didn’t want to intrude, so he left the house. He needed to get his things, so it was the perfect timing.
As he went in the elevator, he felt anxiety creep up behind him. He brought a small wagon to help him being boxes to the car. Jeongguk had bought him a new car, but Taehyung didn’t want anything fancy, just something fast and normal looking. So Jeongguk got him another car, which Taehyung sold the nice one, it was fine with Jeongguk, and gave it to charity. As he unlocked the door to his apartment, he found that it was the same after all this time, the exact same since he left it. He began going through his things, finding out what he still needed, like clothing and paints.
Jeongugk had bought him clothing, so he didn’t really need anymore clothes, but he liked cheap clothing too. So he packed most of the clothing that he had, and whatever he didn’t wear would go to donation or someplace else. He set all his clothes in the box and began with the rest of the apartment.
He had everything already in the car and was waiting for him to make up his mind. He’s been staring at it for at least an hour, twirling it around in his fingers. It was his old razor, that he used to cut with, years ago. He hasn’t done it in ages, but he wanted to. He really did, but he didn’t because he knew the outcome.
It would make him feel better for a second before the pain set in, along with the panic about what would Jeongguk think. Taehyung gulped as it shined against the lamp light. It’s gone dark outside a while ago. It looked dull, but it was very sharp, he already cut the tip of his finger by accident, but the pain felt good .
Taehyung wanted to, he wanted to so badly, but what would he do then? He wasn’t even sure if Jeongguk knew that he cut, or used to. He vaguely remembers when he was drunk that Jeongguk undressed him, but that might’ve been a dream of sorts.
Without realizing it, he had lifted his sleeve, and pressed the blade it his skin. It didn’t break the skin, but he felt the pain. Was he really going to do this? His mind seemed made up, as he quickly dragged the blade across his arm.
He gasped, cutting deeply. Blood didn’t come for a second, and when it did, it ran down his arm in thick drops. He did it again, around mid arm. He kept doing it, with his non-dominant hand, before running out of room and switching arms. He went much deeper, more strength with his dominant hand.
He was drunk on pain, too dizzy to notice he had cut too deep, right at the wrist. “Fuck!” He yelled as blood gushed out. “Fuck fuck,” Taehyung muttered grabbing a towel that was lying around and pressed it to his wrist.
He heard his phone going off, somewhere far away, but the light coming from his phone made him grab it. It was Jeongguk.
“Hey, babe, want me to come over now? You’ve been there for a while, maybe we could stop by and get some ice cream if you want.” Jeongguk sweet voice rang through his ears. “Taehyung? You there?” He heard some shuffling, and the sound of doors opening and closing.
“G-Guk, I did it too deep.” Taehyung whispered, blinking slowly as he pressed the once white towel harder against his wrist.
“What, Taehyung what?” Jeongguk asked, clearly scared. “What did you do that was too deep?” Taehyung was silent for a minute before answering.
“I cut. I cut myself too deep and it won’t stop.” Taehyung gulped, his blood seeping through. “Okay, Taehyung, it’s okay. That’s okay, I’m coming over there right now. We’re going to the hospital.” Jeongguk said, honking.
Taehyung nodded, feeling dizzy. “Taehyung, talk to me. Keep talking to me.” His voice shook, begging Taehyung to say something. “It hurts.” Taehyung whimpered, and Jeongguk slammed on the breaks and ran inside the building. “Tae, I’m here, okay? I’m coming up.” Jeongguk panted as he ran up the stairs, fearing the elevator would take too long. He nearly broke the door down to Taehyung’s apartment, running to the bedroom when he wasn’t anywhere to be found.
He found Taehyung on the bed, sitting over hunched, pressing a bloody towel to his wrist. Both sleeves were pulled up, having deep cuts on them. Jeongguk ran over, to Taehyung, hugging his waist to make sure Taehyung didn’t fall. He gasped, looking at Jeongguk with teary eyes.
“One sec.” Jeongguk said, running to the bathroom to find some spare towels and a first aid kit underneath the sink.
He ran back, and grabbed Taehyung wrist slowly, grabbing the gauze and pulling the bloody towel away. Immediately a gush of blood ran out, and it was clear that he cut an artery. It was a miracle that Taehyung was still conscious, but didn’t seem too far from passing out.
Jeongguk kept looking up at Taehyung as he tightly wrapped the gauze only around the wrist before pressing the towel when it started to soak through. Jeongguk picked up Taehyung and ran down the stairs, feeling more tired than usual, probably due to the lack of muscle, but he was running on pure adrenaline.
He set Taehyung in the car, and tied Taehyung’s hand to the handle on the ceiling, trying to slow the bleeding down. Jeongguk got in, not bothering with seatbelts, and pressed on the car. Taehyung was barely conscious, whined from time to time, and whimpered. Jeongguk kept talking to him as he sped to the hospital, trying to keep Taehyung awake.
“Tae come on, just a little more, come Tae, you'll be okay.” Jeongguk said, swallowing. Taehyung mumbled something, knowing that Jeongguk was talking to him, but he sounded so far away. So, so far away. Jeongguk reached the hospital and honked his wheel to make paramedics came out. He took Taehyung's hand down and got out, helping Taehyung out and onto the stretcher, running inside.
“He, he cut himself. I think he went through an artery. There was a lot of blood.” Jeongguk said, worried, and it showed on his face. “Okay, can you fill out some information about this man?” One of the men said, but then Rose, along with his doctor came around the corner and took things from there. Jeongguk went to go follow them, but Rose calmly put a hand on his chest.
“You know the rules, you can’t go in with us. I’ll try to keep you updated.” She smiled sadly, and Jeongguk didn’t have the strength to fight back. He just sat in the waiting room, covered in blood, crying softly, hoping that Taehyung would make it.
-
“Okay, so because I know you, I’ll let you take him home tonight. Normally I wouldn’t allow it, but he’s restless and keeps trying to pull his stitches out. I’m sending medication with you, stuff that will tire him out and make him a little dopey. If I’m being honest, a little weed would be no problem as well.” Rose explained, saying the last part quietly.
Jeongguk had Yoongi come and switch out cars, because the one he had was painted with blood. Someone had already drove Taehyung’s car to his house, so he didn’t need to worry about that either. Yoongi had brought him some new clothes, but he didn't go home. Taehyung’s only been here for eight hours, so Jeongguk didn’t need to go home yet.
“Also, you might want to consider therapy. It’s clear that Taehyung has some issues, considering his past, and it might help. With the nightmares and all.” Jeongguk nodded, considering the idea. “Okay so he’s a little dopey right now.” Rose warned as they stood outside the door.
“He got 46 stitches in the one big cut, but 153 in total. He’ll be in pain, most of the time. Make sure he doesn’t take his stitches out, but if he does, you can either do it yourself or bring him here.” Rose explained, watching Jeongguk’s eyes tear up. “Oh hon,” She cooed, wiping the tears away.
“I just, I don’t get it.” Jeongguk whimpered, knees buckling. He’s never felt so vulnerable before. “It’s okay, this happens sometimes. We should be grateful that he’s not in a coma. With all the blood he lost, it’s safe to say that because of his past he didn’t die.” Rose whispered, running a motherly hand through his hair. It had some dried pieces of blood in it, but she didn’t say anything. Jeongguk sniffed and wiped the tears away, looking up and trying to calm himself. He opened the door, and immediately was met with , “Guk!”
Taehyung grinned, clearly high. “Hey babe. You feeling better?” Jeongguk asked, coming over and sitting down. Taehyung was pale, and he looked tired, but he was smiling. His whole arm was covered in gauze, and they were by his side.
Jeongguk leaned over and kissed him softly on his lips. It was quick and sweet and left Taehyung pouting. “Yeah, now I am.” Taehyung giggled, and Jeongguk smiled softly, happy to see Taehyung awake and alive.
Jeongguk smiled and helped Taehyung into the wheelchair, and nodded his head at Rose, who smiling at them. He wheeled the Taehyung out of the hospital, and taking him to his car. Taehyung reached behind him to rest his hands on Jeongguk’s chest, giggling. Jeongguk chuckled and helped him into the front seat, closing the wheelchair up and setting it in the trunk.
“Gukkie, I’m cold.” Taehyung sighed, grabbing at his coat while he tried to buckle the high one in. It was getting cold, any day it would snow. “Yeah, so the quicker you would let me go, the quicker I can get the heat on.” Jeongguk said, reaching over Taehyung.
The latter grinned, and pulled Jeongguk in for a kiss, deep and rough. Jeongguk took in a sharp breath, but kissed him back. It was when Taehyung reached out to cup his dick was when Jeongguk pulled away with slick lips. Taehyung pouted, biting his own red and swollen lips.
“Taehyung, don’t.” Jeongguk warned when Taehyung didn’t move his hand away. “What? I want to.” Taehyung tilted his head to the side, faking innocence. Jeongguk pushed his hand off. “I’m not going to this when you’re high, injured and not ready, mentally and physically.” Jeongguk said, eyes dark. Taehyung scoffed and crossed his arms, looking away from his boyfriend.
Jeongguk stood there for a second, before going to the other side of the car. But when he tried to open the door, it was locked. Jeongguk frowned and took his keys out, trying to unlock it, but the moment he unlocked it, Taehyung locked it back.
Jeongguk, instead of being annoyed, was smiling, remember this scene from months ago when Taehyung was drunk. Jeongguk rolled his eyes and unlocked the car, moving too quickly for a very high Taehyung to follow. “I’m going to kill you someday.” Jeongguk smiled and pecked Taehyung’s lips. The younger giggled as they drove off.
-
The dogs were outside when they came home, which was good because the dogs would’ve been all over Taehyung. Jeongguk often joked that they like Taehyung more that him, which made Taeyung roll his eyes.
“Jeonggukie,” Taehyung mumbled, holding onto the latter. Jeongguk huffed and picked Taehyung up, ignoring his straining muscles, and carried him upstairs. Taehyung was barely awake, the drugs clearing off and left sleepiness and exhaustion behind. Jeongguk debated on taking a shower, but decided otherwise, not wanting to slip and die or something. Jeongguk covered Taehyung, and they both sat in silence, both knowing the question that needed to be answered.
“Why did you do it?” Jeongguk asked quietly, looking at his hands. Taehyung gulped, looking at the older who was sitting beside him, sitting off the bed and looking down into the linked hands. “I don’t know. I saw it, and I needed to. I didn’t think I would relapse.” Taehyung answered back, the words gentle and soft.
“But you did. You got 153 stitches, and who knows how many years you took off of me. You scared me so bad. So fucking bad Taehyung. That’s three times I almost lost you. Three.” Jeongguk held up three fingers and looked at Taehyung. They both had tears in their eyes, and guilty looks.
“And I couldn’t protect you.” Jeongguk sighed, frustrated. Taehyung said nothing. “I think, I think you should do therapy.” Jeongguk said, and Taehyung tensed. “No. I don’t want to.” Taehyung snapped immediately.
“Tae,-” Jeongguk started. “No, no, I’m not. I’m fine.” Taehyung yelled. “You’re fine?” Jeongguk laughed.
“You slit your fucking wrists and you have nightmares every night. You were fucking raped as a child but you’re fine? Had to eat people to survive, but you’re fine? How’s that fine?” Jeongguk retried, pissed off.
They glared at each other. “You know what? Whatever.” Jeongguk shook his head, clearly pissed off, and slammed the door shut, Taehyung flinched. There was a second door slamming shut, and Taehyung knew Jeongguk had left.
Taehyung had been trying to sleep for hours, but didn’t have any luck. It was near three in the morning when Taehyung had heard the door opening and the sound of stumbling down stairs.
He heard a crash and a ‘fuck’ before hearing Jeongguk come upstairs to his room. Taehyung didn’t move, and closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep. His back was to the door, and it wasn’t long before he felt the bed shift.
The smell of alcohol reached Taehyung’s nose, and it wasn’t hard to tell that Jeongguk was really drunk. He felt the bed shift even more, and the warm body against his back before hesitant hands wrapped around Taehyung’s waist.
Jeongguk was above the covers while Taehyung was underneath them. Taehyung still didn’t say anything, and in the silent room, he heard Jeongguk cry. Soft sobs and hiccups made Taehyung more aware. Jeongguk’s shoulders shook and he pressed his wet and red nose into the back of Taehyung’s neck, Taehyung could feel the tremble of his lips.
“I’m sorry.” Was all Jeongguk said, and was the only thing he kept saying. Taehyung gulped and turned over, bringing Jeongguk’s head to his chest and pet his hair. Jeongguk cried out, emotions getting the best of him.
“I-I can’t lose you!” Jeongguk whimpered, gripping Taehyung’s- his- shirt tightly. “I know.” Taehyung whispered, feeling the latter shaking. “I’ll try therapy.” Taehyung whispered, and Jeongguk’s looked up at his, eyes wide with tears.
“Really?” Taehyung nodded, and pressed their foreheads together. “I thought about it, and I would like to do it, but with you in the room.” Taehyung explained. “Of course. I’ll do that. Yes,” Jeongguk smiled, pecking Taehyung’s face all over. Taehyung giggled and kissed him back, tasting vodka on his tongue. Jeongguk cuddled down in Taehyung’s neck, feeling content and warm that he was getting taken care of by the one he loved.
--
One month since Taehyung started therapy, and it really was working as much as Taehyung hated to admit. It helped slightly with his nightmares, and it took about three hours of therapy to finally get his whole childhood down on paper. He went every week, sometimes with Jeongguk.
The older had finally started to look like himself, lost the weight and gained his much wanted muscles back. He had his first job in New York, and he took Taehyung to do some shopping and sightseeing before he had to leave.
It was fun and they brought back way too many things, but Taehyung loved all the little things he got. They got matching rings, both wore on the right middle finger with their initials on the inside of the ring. Taehyung had started painting too, and was waiting to the get in the next art show in the next few days.
Jeongguk was in and out of the house a lot, between handling some business. The youngers cuts have been healing nicely with no issues, and Jeongguk took the stitches out. It was busy, but Taehyung knew that the whole thing would calm down soon.
--
Two months later and Taehyung’s therapist suggested that they go to a psychiatrist. So he did, but refused any medication, which led to another fight, which led to Jeongguk leaving his house and coming back drunk to holes in the wall from Taehyung’s frustration. They both apologized, but Taehyung was not going to take any medications, and Jeongguk agreed. He only wanted to have the best for Taehyung.
Turns out, Taehyung has PTSD, which was no surprise, Social anxiety and Major depressive disorder, which was more of the main ones. He somewhat had ticks, twitching his fingers and toes often, along with small whimpers every now and then. Jeongguk never really noticed until it was pointed out. Taehyung had slight OCD about germs, liking to be as clean as possible. He would always carry around hand sanitizer, and made sure that Jeongguk and him were as clean as possible.
He had to do things with the psychiatrist, both him and Jeongguk, both becoming closer. It was first holding eye contact, and simple things like Jeongguk holding him and touching him. Taehyung eventually memorized Jeongguk’s hand, and could easily tell the difference from other people's and Jeongguk’s.
Next they had to do a trust test. Taehyung showed Jeongguk his back, letting Jeongguk run his hands over his scarred back, feeling more and more comfortable. They still hadn’t had sex yet, but they done other things, like giving Jeongguk a blowjob, or a handjob, and even Jeongguk got to touch Taehyung a bit. But it was mostly Taehyung touching Jeongguk, trying to get comfortable.
Sex was still off the table, and it would be for a while, but Jeongguk knew it would be worth the wait. Taehyung’s scars have finally healed over, leaving a deep purple scar. One of the newer things that’s been happening was Taehyung waking up from a nightmare on his own, and screaming for Jeongguk to get up, thinking he was dead. The first time it happened was horrible, and it scared both of them.
-
Taehyung woke up from his nightmare, the visions of the dead bodies piling around him still swirling in his head. He sat up, feeling Jeongguk’s hand fall down to his waist. Jeongguk. Taehyung looked over at the hitman and smiled at the sight. He looked peaceful, but it was much too peaceful.
Taehyung in his state, didn’t see Jeongguk’s moving chest, and started to shake. “Jeongguk, Jeongguk,” Taehyung trembled, waiting for Jeongguk to wake up. He didn't and Taehyung freaked out. “Jeongguk!” He screamed, shaking Jeongguk, screaming his name. Jeongguk woke up, and all he could hear was Taehyung screaming his name.
He sat up, almost too quickly, and held Taehyung’s forearms to stop him from hitting him in the chest. “Taehyung. Tae baby what’s wrong?” Jeongguk asked, trying to fight the sleep off. Taehyung’s eyes had glazed over, his mouth opened wide in a pained state. There was drool falling off his chin and tears down his cheeks.
“I thought, I thought you were dead.” Taehyung whispered, falling into Jeongguk’s arms, crying softly. Jeongguk shushed him, comforting him, telling him that he was still here, and that he was alive and breathing. Taehyung kept running his hands over his body, making sure that he was really there. His head didn’t move from his chest, listening to the hitman’s heartbeat. They didn’t sleep for the rest of the night.
--
Taehyung would be meeting Jimin and Yoongi today, they were going to see them for lunch. Jeongguk smiled at him on mirror, and held his hands. “Don’t worry. They’ll love you.” Jeongguk pecked his cheek and put his shoes on. Taehyung stood still, looking in the mirror. “Tae?” Jeongguk questioned when Taehyung never moved.
“Yeah?” He asked, moving his head in Jeongguk’s direction, but his eyes never left the mirror. “Everything okay?” Jeongguk asked, standing up.
“I think I stole 2000$ from Jimin.” Taehyung replied, looking at Jeongguk eyes directly. He raised an eyebrow. “Really?” Taehyung nodded. “The night that you first met me, I found him passed out in the bathroom, and I took his money. I looked at his ID and it said Park Jimin.” Taehyung’s voice shook.
“Don’t worry about it baby. You’ll clear things up. Jimin is very kind and has a forgiving nature. I’m sure he’ll forgive you.” Jeongguk said, kissing Taehyung’s forehead. Taehyung looked worried, and Jeongguk smiled telling him not to worry. Taehyung tried to smile back, but it turned out like a grimace.
-
Jimin smiled and kissed Jeongguk on both cheeks before hugging Taehyung, who stiffened at the unknow touch and scent surrounding him. “It’s so nice to finally meet you.” Jimin said, pulling Taehyung to sit beside him.
“Likewise,” Taehyung grunted, looking at Jeongguk and Yoongi that was sitting across from him. Jeongguk shrugged his shoulder and Taehyung glared at Jeongguk before turning back to Jimin.
“So, how have you been lately Guk?” Jimin asked, and Taehyung’s eye twitched. Why was he calling his Guk, Guk? Taehyung’s fingers twitched, and he became restless. “Oh you know, the usual.” Jeongguk shrugged, watching Taehyung’s hand.
He picked up his menu, reading the menu. Taehyung gulped, and looked at the menu, but his fingers never eased, only picking up by scratching and tapping them against the table, sometimes bringing it to his mouth to chew on the finger.
“Taehyung, finger.” Jeongguk spoke, not even looking up from his menu. Taehyung grunted and ignored the stares coming from Jimin, Yoongi understanding enough to not give him attention.
Taehyung bit one last time, before stopping, pulling his finger from his mouth, deep bite marks all over the first two fingers. Jimin gulped and looked at the fingers, before clearing his throat. “So Taehyung, what do you do for fun?” Jimin asked, trying to make small talk. Yoongi groaned, knowing that Taehyung was not one for small talks. “I paint.” Taehyung shrugged, kicking Jeongguk’s shin repeatedly. Jeongguk only caught his foot with his own, a small comfort.
“Really?” Jimin perked up. Taehyung nodded. “Yeah,” Taehyung said shortly, trying to make it clear that he didn’t want to talk dammit. Yoongi kicked Jimin and gave him a look telling him to stop it. Jimin ignored it, wanting to see how far he could push Taehyung. “So, all healed up?” Jimin asked, Yoongi and Jeongguk sharing a glance. Taehyung stomped his foot, the feeling of maggots clawing in his calf leg.
“Yep, all healed up.” Taehyung shot back, smiling fakely. “How’s your sleep? Still plagued by nightmares? Still having flashbacks?” Jimin asked, too sweet. “So, what can I get you?” The waiter came over, and everyone was ready to answer but Jimin told her, “We’re still choosing.” which made her walk away. “So, whore, how many men are you going to sleep with tonight?” Taehyung asked, smiling at Jimin, staring him right in the eyes. Jimin shrunk back slightly.
“How many dicks have you had this past week? I wonder how many kids you would have if you were a chick. Did you get my boyfriend’s cock too? You think I don't know about you Park. What about that one time, when was it? Last year when your customer kidnapped you and raped you for a week before someone found you, all tied up. How’s your nightmares? The ones where they broke your jaw and fed you cock for days? The ones where they broke your ankle? Oh, what about that time where you were passed out drunk in the bathroom and you woke up to 2000$ missing?” Taehyung laughed dryly at Jimin’s expression as he realized that it was Taehyung who took the money.
“You know what I have nightmares about, slut? About eating kids , I have dreams where they cut my leg open and put larvae in my leg as a punishment because I wasn’t a good slut. The ones where I’m raped until passed out, and the ones where I get my fingers and toes broken when I tried to escape. The ones where I would have to cut dead people’s hair, and I would need to cook the body parts. Oh, how about the one where I’m eating my leg because I’m so hungry, or where I had to fucking rape enfants while having a gun to my head. Oh, but the best one is where Jeongguk is there with me, getting shot in the head before fucking his dead body, that’s gotta be the best one. So yes, Jimin, I’m still having nightmares.” Taehyung snarled, slamming his hands on the table, and leaving.
Jeongguk closed his eyes and calmed down. Yoongi already knew about this from Taehyung's file, so Jimin was left with all this new information that made him sick. “I’m going to go check up on him, I don't think we’ll be back.” Jeongguk sighed and said his goodbyes. Yoongi looked at Jimin. “Happy now? You were so curious about Taehyung’s past and now you know.” Yoongi scoffed and left, leaving Jimin there.
Jeongguk found Taehyung in the parking lot, on his hands and knees, throwing up. He ran over to him, and made sure that he didn’t fall in his own puke. Taehyung gasped, whining out strange words. “I know, let’s go home and have take out. I’m feeling chinese.” Jeongguk explained as if Taehyung wasn't in child headspace. He rubbed Taehyung on the back, and kept talking to him about the present, talking about his paintings and Soonshim.
Taehyung grunted, kicking his legs out. Jimin came out running, and it scared Taehyung so much, he screamed and took off. Jeongguk cursed and ran after him, yelling his name. Jimin watched Jeongguk chase after Taehyung, who hid behind a tree.
“Just stop!” Yoongi yelled at Jimin. “But I want to apologize,” Jimin cried, yelling at Yoongi. “You’re only making it worse, we’ll stop by when Taehyung is… back.” Yoongi said, shifting uncomfortably, watching Jeongguk get on his knees and shifting from time to time towards Taehyung. Jimin sniffled and looked at them.
“What do you mean ‘back’?” Jimin asked. “You spooked Taehyung badly, so he kinda went into a headspace. He only knows Jeongguk and even now it hard.” Yoongi explained, watching Jimin completely regret his existence. “Taehyung, you know me, come on.” Jeongguk begged, on his knees to try and make himself smaller. Taehyung gurgled something unknown. “Come Tae.” Jeongguk whispered, opening his arms.
Taehyung crawled towards him on all fours before leaning on Jeongguk. “Yeah, you know me. You know me.” Jeongguk said, picking Taehyung up and walking to his car. He eyed Yoongi and Jimin before buckling Taehyung it, putting his coat on him. “I’ll text you when he’s better.” Jeongguk said before getting in his side, and left.
-
It’s been a couple hours, but Taehyung eventually came back, groggy and on edge, Jeongguk not being able to leave with Taehyung freaking out. It’s normally like this, Taehyung gets too scared to be alone, and the rest of the day is just cuddling.
Taehyung never liked eating when he’s like this, so Jeongguk would normally make him a hot chocolate or something like that. Jeongguk got Taehyung’s permission for Yoongi and Jimin to come over and apologizing. Taehyung didn’t know what to think of Jimin, but he liked Yoongi. He would come over aften to talk with Jeongguk, but Taehyung felt like he was close with Yoongi, and vise versa.
Yoongi’s read his file and seen those videos, and Jimin hadn’t. Taehyung could only hope that he could become friends with Jimin. Jeongguk speaks of him a lot, the two going way back. Taehyung heard a knock at the door, and Jeongguk explained to him that he would be gone a for a second to open the door. Taehyung shook his head, gripping the mug tightly as he begged for Jeongguk to stay.
Jeongguk sighed and texted Yoongi to just come in, not wanting to yell and make Taehyung scared. “I’m sorry baby,” Jeongguk sighed and Taehyung whimpered, leaning into him. He heard the door open. “No, I’m sorry that I’m such a child.” Taehyung mumbled, sipping his hot chocolate. Jeongguk shook his head and told him that he wasn’t a child. Yoongi and Jimin appeared in the doorway, they were in a different room from the cats, and shifted uncomfortably.
“Will you be okay to talk with Jimin alone? Without me?” Jeongguk asked Taehyung and surprisingly, he nodded. Jeongguk smiled and got up, kissing Taehyung’s forehead, and going to grab a drink with Yoongi while he and Jimin talked. Jimin swallowed and walked over to the couch, sitting a good length away from Taehyung.
“I’m sorry. I went too far.” Jimin started, and Taehyung simply looked at his drink. “It’s just that, Yoongi’s been coming over here a lot lately, and I knew you’re past was crazy, but he never told me. So my curiosity got the best of me, and I bit off more than I could chew. But that doesn’t excuse my behaviour and I’m sorry for that. First impressions mean a lot ot me, and I completely blew it. That was not me in the restaurant, and I want you to get to know the real me.” Jimin breathed out, waiting for a response.
It was clear that it was rehearsed, but Taehyung wanted to smile at the thought of Jimin being that sorry that he practiced how he was going to apologize. “It’s okay. I’m sorry I called you a whore, and slut. I told you things about my past that was too dark and I hope it won’t bug your sleep. And I’m sorry for stealing from you, too.” Taehyung mumbled, and Jimin nearly shouted.
“You have no reason to be sorry. You were only reacting to my bad actions.” Jimin said, in his little shout, he came a little closer to Taehyung. “Okay,” Taehyung whispered, setting his cup on the table and pulling his knees to his chest. Jimin waited like a puppy, his blonde hair falling over his eyes. “I forgive you,” Taehyung said, and Jimin smiled.
“Okay,” And then talked and talked and talked, about their lives, about why the sky is blue. They just kept talking, and talking, becoming closer and closer by the second, until Taehyung hesitantly rested his head on Jimin’s shoulder.
-
Jeongguk and Yoongi decided to check up on them, seeing why it was so quiet. Jimin was on his back, head on the armrest, and Taehyung was in his arms, face tucked in Jimin’s chest. Jeongguk smiled at the sight, and Yoongi chuckled.
Jeongguk walked over to them, Jimin opening one eye to see who it was. Jeongguk smiled and put a blanket on them, watching Jimin fall to sleep, tightening his grip on Taehyung. Taehyung stirred, and Jeongguk hoped that he didn’t have any bad nightmares.
He didn’t.
-
When Taehyung woke up, Jimin was gone, and in his place was Jeongguk. “Hey,” Taehyung mumbled, kissing his lips sleepily. Jeongguk had been awake for awhile, Taehyung could smell freshness on him.
“Where’s Jimin?” Taehyung asked, resting his head on Jeongguk’s chest, drawing little patterns on his shirt. “He left a while ago.” Jeongguk replied, playing with his hair. “Oh,” Taehyung sounded disappointed.
“He didn’t, do anything, did he?” Jeongguk asked suspiciously. Taehyung lifted his head and looked at his boyfriend. “What do you mean?” Taehyung squinted. Jeongguk tilted his head to the side.
“You know, Jimin has an interesting way of showing affection. He might try to kiss you, or something. It’s just the way he shows his feelings. Which I completely don’t mind if you do.” Jeongguk added. “But isn’t it cheating?” Taehyung questioned.
“Not if I know and I’m fine with it. But only with Jimin. I know him and I really don’t care if you fuck him either. I’ve done it before a few times.” Jeongguk shrugged, and Taehyung looked at him. “Have you fucked him while we’re together?”
“No, I haven't. I would never do that to you. And if I did, I would tell you.” Jeongguk promised and Taehyung nodded. “Okay, I’ll be sure to kiss him right in front of you next time.” Taehyung smirked, but the idea didn’t seem to make Jeongguk jealous.
-
It was Taehyung’s birthday, and the last day of the year. Jeongguk didn’t do anything big, because he knew Taehyung wouldn’t like it. So he bought a cake, and invite Jimin and Yoongi over. There would be alcohol, and pizza, but that would be about it. Taehyung even though he said he doesn’t want presents, but he knows he’ll get presents.
Jeongguk woke him up with a cupcake, singing happy birthday to him very off-pitched. And then he had pancakes and fruit because Jeongguk wanted him to eat something healthy. Next, Taehyung just laid around, while Jeongguk ran out to go get the cake- and something else.
-
After that, Jeongguk made them lunch, and they ate grilled cheese, because who doesn’t like grilled cheese, and put on some old dance music, which escalated to Jeongguk and Taehyung slow dancing in the kitchen with half eaten sandwiches.
-
Jimin and Yoongi came with wine, and a small present from Jimin. Taehyung, who kept his promise, kissed Jimin when he came in the door, right in front of Jeongguk. Jimin happily returned the kiss before pulling away and giving Taehyung his gift.
Yoongi kissed his cheek and wished him a happy birthday. He respected that Taehyung didn’t want anything for his birthday, so gave him expensive wine instead. Taehyung smiled and opened the gift from Jimin, which was something called a ‘distance bracelet’. There were two bracelets, one was all black except for a single white bead while the other was all white with a single black bead.
“It’s a symbol that we’ll always be together even at the furthest of distances.” Jimin smiled and watched Taehyung run his fingers over them. “Which one do you want?” Taehyung picked up the black one. Jimin took the white one and they both put it on the left wrist.
“I love it. Thank you.” Taehyung smiled, and Jimin pulled him close to kiss him again. Yoongi and Jeongguk were watching, no ounce of jealousy between them. “They look good together.” Yoongi expressed and Jeongguk agreed, pouring himself and Yoongi a glass of wine. “I’m gonna order the pizza.” Jeongguk said, and went to go call. Taehyung and Jimin broke apart, and went to the living room, without the cats because Jimin was allergic, and sat down on the couch, talking about more things.
Yoongi brought them glasses of wine, and watched as they talked. It seemed as if they could never stop talking. Jeongguk eventually came back, but with a big box. Taehyung stared at him, he knew Jeongguk would get him something.
“Happy birthday Taehyung.” Jeongguk smiled and Taehyung broke out into a smile, making room for the big box. Taehyung was slowly unwrapped it when a small bark came from the box. Taehyung stared at Jeongguk with a shocked expression.
“You did not.” Taehyung whispered. “Check for yourself.” Jeongguk replied. Taehyung slowly took the lid off and gasped. “Aw,” Taehyung whimpered, looking at the small dog in the box. It was brown, and light brown, with strong eyebrows. “Oh my god,” Taehyung said, picking up the small dog.
It wagged its tail, barking at Taehyung. Taehyung’s eyes had started to water, bringing the dog to his chest and cradling it. “His name is Yeontan. The owner said that he’s a pure breed pomeranian, but he wasn’t too sure.” Jeongguk said, watching Taehyung with the fluff ball.
Personally, Jeongguk wasn’t a fan of such small dogs, he liked big dogs, but anything for Taehyung. “Oh my god Jeongguk, he’s so cute.” Taehyung sobbed out, pressing his face in Yeontan’s fluff. The dog whined, and Taehyung cooed at it softly.
“Everything’s already set in in our room, but you need to potty train him.” Jeongguk said, and Taehyung nodded, fine with anything. Jimin whined at Yoongi that he wanted one too, but Yoongi said that they would think about it. Taehyung passed him to Jimin, who nearly cried at how soft and fluffy Yeontan was. He handed him to Yoongi while Taehyung jumped on Jeongguk, kissing him deeply.
“Thank you,” Taehyung sniffed, and Jeongguk simply smiled, his bunny teeth showing. “Anything for you.” The pizza came, one from a cheap place because he knew Taehyung liked greasy food, and one from an expensive place, with truffles on it. He brought the pizza out and brought Yeontan back to his room, because he was falling asleep in Yoongi’s arms. Taehyung sat in Jeongguk’s lap, eating pizza, and the latter cringing at the sight of the greasy food. “How can you eat that?” Jeongguk jokes. “How can you not?” Taehyung shot back, pecking his lips.

After they had their fill of pizza, they got a cake, and of course, they sing the happy birthday song to a very red Taehyung. It was ice cream cake, something Taehyung loved. Jimin and him sat side by side, feeding each other. They stayed until after midnight, kissing their boyfriends when the clock turned to midnight. It was officially the end of the year, and the beginning of a new one.
They left, Jimin pecking Jeongguk’s lips and Taehyung’s before leaving. Taehyung smiled and wrapped his arms around Jeongguk’s neck, kissing him softly. The kiss turned into something more, more desperate and full of want. Taehyung was gasping in his mouth as he unbuckled Jeongguk’s belt.
“Wait, Tae, wait.” Jeongguk breathed out, catching Taehyung’s hands. “What?” Taehyung asked, pulling back. “I want to do this.” Jeongguk stilled. “Are you sure? Like, 100%?” Jeongguk asked, looking at Taehyung’s eyes, making sure he wasn’t lying.
“Yeah, I feel like I’ve waited too long.” Taehyung whispered, pulling Jeongguk closer by hooking his fingers on the loops of his belt. Their cocks rubbed against each other, Jeongguk letting out a breathy moan while Taehyung breathed in sharply with pleasure. Jeongguk’s come to learn the few times he’s got to touch Taehyung, was that he wasn’t loud. So when he did moan, it was heaven to his ears.
They ran upstairs, giggling like kids, and Taehyung pushed Jeongguk onto the bed, crawling over him and kissing him again. Taehyung’s movements were hurried, and Jeongguk flipped them over. “What’s the rush baby? We got all night.” Jeongguk whispered, kissing down Taehyung’s neck, who tilted his head to the side to give him room.
Jeongguk slowly took off Taehyung’s shirt and kissed down his chest. Taehyung hummed, watching Jeongguk kiss down until he reached his pants. Jeongguk looked up and Taehyung nodded, and pulled them off. Taehyung was left in his boxers, Jeongguk taking his time to memorize Taehyung’s body. “You too,” Taehyung slurred, pulling at Jeongguk’s clothes. Jeongguk completed, pulling his shirt off, abs rippling from the stretch.
Taehyung smirked, running a hand down them, feeling the ridges. Jeongguk grabbed his wrist, pulling it to his mouth, and pressing gentle kisses to the scars on his wrist. He looked down at Taehyung, who was blushing heavily at the attention, and pecked his lips, sucking hickeys onto his neck and shoulders.
Taehyung knew that Jeongguk was kinky, but the fact that he didn’t even mention it to Taehyung because he knew Taehyung was uncomfortable about those things, made Taehyung’s heart throb. Jeongguk slowly peeled off his boxers, Taehyung whining at the exposure. His cock was half hard, laying on his stomach.
“Can I have a taste?” Jeongguk asked and Taehyung nodded. “Remember we can stop at anytime, Tae.” Jeongguk reminded him, and he rolled his eyes. “I know. I’m fine, just hurry up.” Taehyung whined, and Jeongguk fisted his cock, stroking it to full hardness before bringing it to his mouth. He sucked on the head a few times before sinking down. Jeongguk was good at giving head, Taehyung noted, small moans of pleasure escaping his mouth as his cock hit the back of his throat.
“Fuck, Gukkie,” Taehyung moaned, bringing a hand to grip the black strands and thrust in his mouth gently. Jeongguk bobbed his head, enjoying the sounds coming from Taehyung. He pulled off, his lips swollen and red, glistening from spit and precum. “Fuck, get your cock in me,” Taehyung begged, pulling Jeongguk up to kiss him. Their tongues brushed against each other, Taehyung tasting himself. Jeongguk pulled off and grabbed the lube from his drawer, coating his fingers in it. He spread Taehyung’s legs, and sat in between them on his knees, pressing a finger to his hole.
Taehyung nodded and pressed in. It was tight, and Taehyung winced. Jeongguk gave him a second before moving it in and out, feeling it relaxed. “Another. I’m not gonna break Guk.” Taehyung murmured. Jeongguk nodded and slowly pressed a second finger in. Jeongguk moved them, curling them a certain way that made Taehyung’s back arch and a broken moan fell from his lips. Jeongguk smiled and did it again before adding another finger.
Taehyung had his eyes closed and head thrown back in pleasure. He fucked Taehyung with his fingers until he felt Taehyung was ready. Taehyung nodded and Jeongguk unbuckled his belt, pulling his boxers and pants off in one go. He stroked his cock, biting his lip before looking at Taehyung. “Fuck, are you clean?” Jeongguk asked, looking down at Taehyung, who looked beautiful. Taehyung stared at him before looking away, embarrassed.
“N-no,” He mumbled and Jeongguk’s eyes widened. Taehyung sat up and closed his legs, awkward. “I’m sorry-” “God, no baby. It’s not your fault and I’m not disgusted. Okay? We can go check it out and see what we can do, but for now, I really,” Jeongguk pecked his lips, hands gently on Taehyung’s thighs. “Really, don’t want to stop.” Jeongguk finished, Taehyung nodded and Jeongguk leaning over him to grab a condom from his drawer. He put it on, coating his dick lube to make sure it would be the best for Taehyung.
Taehyung was stroking his own cock, thumbing at the slit as precum spilled over. Taehyung was looking at him with hooded eyes, and licked his lips at the sight of Jeongguk. He was beautiful, head tilted in pleasure and his lips red, leaning against the bed frame. Jeongguk came over and pulled Taehyung down and pulled his hips so he was tilted in his lap.
“It’s okay, go ahead.” Taehyung reassured, and Jeongguk slowly pressed it. It was tight and hot, Jeongguk just wanting to pound into the warmth, but he need to make sure Taehyung was okay. He was making a pain expression, and Jeongguk stopped, only about half in. “Tae baby, you ok?” Jeongguk asked, holding his face. Taehyung nodded, looking at Jeongguk.
“Yeah, just keep going until you bottom out.” Taehyung whimpered, and Jeongguk did just that. He wasn’t that long, but the girth of his cock was something else. Jeongguk was scared that Taehyung really did hate it, but just didn’t know how to say no because whenever he said no, it would be ignored by whoever.
He was pressed flush against Taehyung’s ass, and moaned softly at the feel of Taehyung trying to relax around him. Taehyung breathed, Jeongguk’s cock was pressed right on his prostate, making the pain fade slightly.
Jeongguk was thick, and adjusting would take a second. Jeongguk pumped his cock, making his hips twitch and he moaned. Jeongguk felt Taehyung relax, and Taehyung told him to move. He did, gently thrusting, testing the waters.
“Faster Guk,” Taehyung moaned, and Jeongguk sped up, gripping Taehyung’s hips tightly. He fucked Taehyung into the bed, Taehyung pulled him up to kiss him. Their teeth clashed, and it was mostly moaning into the others mouth, but the amount of pleasure was really something. Taehyung moaned out, looking at Jeongguk, who was panting, sweat dripping down from his nose.
Taehyung was no better, the feeling of Jeongguk’s thrust hitting his spot every time making sure to let him know that he wasn’t going to last long. Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jeongguk’s neck, and his legs around his waist, making him go even deeper. “Fuck, Tae, you’re beautiful.” Jeongguk groaned, kissing along his jaw as Taehyung let out a silent moan.
Jeongguk caged him in, his thrusts never letting up. Taehyung scratched at Jeongguk’s back, both knowing there would be marks. “God, fuck.” Taehyung cried out, his thigh shaking. Taehyung felt tears prick at his eyes as he stared at Jeongguk, trying to find a flaw on his face. He couldn’t find any, even the small scar on his cheek, he loved it. Taehyung gasped, tears falling from his eyes as he realized something. Jeongguk looked up and immediately stopped.
“Tae baby, you okay?” Ready to pull out. Taehyung shook his head, sobbing. He brought Jeongguk closer hugging him. “Keep going,” Taehyung whispered, swallowing. Jeongguk did just that, hesitating, Taehyung kissing him sweetly.
“I think I, I love you.” Taehyung cried, smiling up at Jeongguk, tracing his face with his fingers. Jeongguk’s thrusts stuttered, before he pulled Taehyung’s leg up and threw it over his shoulder, thrusting more rougher and quicker.
“I love you, too.” Jeongguk gasped, feeling his orgasm approach. He gripped Taehyung’s cock, and stroked it in time with his thrusts. He felt Taehyung tighten around him, and he knew that he was close. “I love you, I love you.” Taehyung repeated, going to come.
Jeongguk kissed him again, Taehyung yelling out as he came over Jeongguk’s fist and his stomach. Jeongguk spilled into the condom not too long after, groaning. Jeongguk held the condom in place as he pulled out, tying it up and throwing to the side.
He slowly put Taehyung’s legs back down, the latter groaning at his hips clicking back into place. He collapsed beside Taehyung, sweating and breathing heavily. Taehyung turned to smile at him, gripping his chin and kissing him again. Jeongguk returned it, ignoring the stickiness.
Taehyung then giggled and Jeongguk laughed, kissing his nose.
“I love you.” Taehyung whispered and Jeongguk never smiled so hard before.
“I love you too.”
