Tuesday, October 25th, 20--
10:13 a.m.

A crisp fall morning in a nondescript suburban town... the sky is gray, leaves are showing their autumnal hues and all is peaceful.

Cut To: a tall blonde woman in her early thirties (we don't see her face until later) carrying a stack of purple envelopes holding invitations to the mailbox across the street. The intro to Dead Man's Party begins to play when she's halfway across the street to when she puts the cards into the mailbox and lifts the flag on the side.

(All dressed up with nowhere to go...
Walking with a dead man over my shoulder)

She makes her way back across the street to her black Hyundai sonata. Reaching into her navy jacket, she pulls out a copper keyring, unlocking the doors with her keyfob.

She opens the driver side of her car and gets inside. Fastening her seatbelt, she turns the key in the ignition and leaves her driveway, heading to a local pumpkin and apple orchard.
