the Yautja's Slytherin

Summary:

He thought that it was his imagination. He was sure of it, but for the past few weeks he was stalked by something huge. Severus knew it was bigger than him by a few feet as he would see a shadow of it in the corner of his eye.

The warrior watched his choice constantly. Seeing that yes he was a good canidate and that yes he was sexually arousing. He had cleaned all his armor, the trophies, and made his temporary den livable and comfortable.

The Yautja shook his head, and decided it was time to show the ooman his prized trophies.

Chapter 1: It begins: a very short prologue

Summary:

A hunt of a different kind

Chapter Text

There were many hunts. Some were coming of age, others for mating rights, a few for criminals. I have hunted them all each one different from the last. Time changes and as one grows older, knowledge is earned.

This hunt however, is different. One that is possibly the most important only other would be a Chiva. I am hunting for a life-mate. I have sired many suckling over my 1900 years. My forefathers have done the same in their thousands of years. I want to settle down, with my other soul.

I have traveled the known galaxies and some parts unknown and have returned with no other. Trophies sie-i, but not the one. I have no care for gender or anything frivolous as that. My mate must be able to fight, be strong of mind and will, but also I want a companion and someone to talk sense to me if I stray.

Looking out the view port and a small green and blue marble is coming within sight. Lar’ja thei-de looks upon the ooman planet that held a species both abhorred and held in esteem. He flexed his large fingers as he researched on the ooman’s. So many kinds and so many places. He was indifferent to the oomans himself, finding them both interesting to hunt and to watch in peace.

A species of contradiction. Having a truce on a winter festival in trenches (The Christmas Truce). Running back to save another from a fire (Firefighters), and then waging war because of expansion, color, creed, religion or hurt pride (every single conflict in history mostly).

He shook his massive tendrils lightly moving away from the screen. It was time to find a starting point. Lar’ja thei-de chose a small place location in a place called Europe within it a country called Scotland. He would try this Isle of islands first (British Isles). They did have some amazing warriors the last time he was at that country.

He sat back down in the pilot seat and maneuvered to his destination, hopefully it would bear fruit.

A souvenir from better days

Chapter Text

Severus POV

The war has ended thankfully, I can now feel a bit of peace that I do not have to spy anymore. I was surprised it ended during the summer before Potter’s 6th year. Albus and I expected it to go on for longer but with a few ministry officials thinking for once we were ready. I also talked and smacked some sense into my godson Draco and he was able to convince his parents to aid me. They would not touch the Order but for their son they would do anything. Having another on the inside proved valuable and he and Narcissa were granted mercy when it all ended. I was just glad Draco didn’t get marked (but it was close).

The battle took place at Hogwarts and truth be told I expected to die as Nagini struck my throat. But, Fawkes saved me and brought me to the infirmary. Albus clued me in on what happened when I was out.

Long and convoluted but Potter and his friends succeeded. Time and many trials came but everything seemed to be going alright again…. well as good as having Potter and his group for two more years.

Gathering my errant thoughts, I stared at the innocent looking box that was in front of me. I told not a soul about this nor its origin…or the story that came with it. Who would believe me? I never even told Lily, even though it was before the incident.

I sighed and sank deeper into the tall-backed chair. I remember. Who could forget something like this? Or want to? I let myself go back into my memories…...

I got lost in the Forbidden Forest. It was during my 3rd year and I wanted to find some fresh ingredients for some potions to experiment with. I did not plan or think to bring anything with me (such a Gryffindor thing to do). In the end being lost in that forest is not pleasant. I was scared and found a place to hide and wait. My mother always said to find a place to stay and not to move or no one will find you.

I waited. And waited. I had no idea on the time as the forest is mostly dark anyway. I did know that it was getting colder and I had to find somewhere to hunker down just to be out of the wind. Find something I did. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen, magical or muggle. It looked like a ship of some kind. It looked safe too.

In another Gryffindor move I decided to go inside and wait there. As soon as I stepped into the odd vessel, I felt the heat. It was wonderful. After the chill of the forest and with the weather turning to fall it was getting cold.

I walked in, walking through the thick layer of fog. I kept my head down wandering aimlessly for a person to help. I cannot recall how I ended up there but there was a room that opened for me and inside was a massive circle bed that as covered in furs, blankets and pillows. I yawned and pulled myself up onto the bed, for I could not get up. Crawling underneath the multitude of blankets and furs, I easily fell asleep not even realizing what called that ship home.

I had no idea how long I slept but I heard a low growl and massive footsteps, I thought it was Hagrid and wiggled myself from underneath the fur pile, letting myself smile sleepily I looked up expectingly but shrinking back in fear at what I saw.

A massive, muscular being. Dark green skin with black leopard spots and a lighter green tint on the front with fewer spots. Scars covered the uncovered skin, a loin cloth in the front, and fishnets around the legs and arms, covering the skin that was not covered by shiny copper like metal and various weapons and decorations. The being's head was large and had tendrils with golden bands flowing down its skull and a mask covered the face.

The being abruptly stopped growling and slowly got down to walk closer, gently approaching me. A large, clawed hand came forward; I scooted back, the hand stopped then came closer. I watched the hand as it came but no pain, just a gentle touch from roughened skin. It touched my cheek first and then moved to my head, lightly tickling my neck, causing me to giggle. The being huffed, its tendrils moving slightly.

Then it slowly stood up from its crouch and lifted me up in its huge, muscled arms. The being cradled him gently touching his head, arms and whole body. I had no idea why at that time but now I know she was looking for injuries. Yes, She. I did not find that out until later. But I digress.

She carried me to another room, and it looked to be like the infirmary or something close to it. She set me down and soon with various interesting looking tools seemed to be getting what I expect was information about myself.

It took maybe a few minutes, but she set me down off the large infirmary bed and put everything away. Looking at me again, she picked me up and carried me out of the ship. I knew it was a spaceship. The Americans sent one to the moon a few years ago but it doesn’t look as cool as this one.

She cradled me to her chest as she walked in the forest. I started to touch her tendrils and mask out of curiosity and amazingly enough she let me. She did however give a warning growl when I found a clasp on the edges of the mask.

With her massive strides we were on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. I looked at the sky and the sun was just about set. She placed me down on the ground, knelt on one knee in front of me, pointed a finger at me and then at the castle, saying with multiple voices, ‘Go home, suckling. Not safe, out here, for you.”

I nodded giving her a hug quickly and then running as fast as I could to the castle, I could actually hear the professors voices as I got closer to the normal paths.

I did stop once and turned around, she was still there watching me.

I found the teachers and was fussily looked over, given detention and sent to the Great Hall. As we all walked to the main paths that were closest to the castle, I glanced back. She was gone.

I got out of my memories and placed the box back in its hiding place. I threw on some robes and proceeded to the great hall for dinner, the staff was having to get together this last week before school started.

I pray it is going to be a calm year.

____________

Not a chance Severus lol. What did you all think?

Chapter 3: Landing in a truly different world

Summary:

Our Yautja lands in the Forbidden Forest

Chapter Text

Lar'ja thei-de found a massive dark forest and just knew it was the best place to land. Letting out a drone for a couple of minutes to find a large open space, while he gathered some supplies to venture out quickly.

--SKIP---

The drone had returned and in the images was a massive glen, surrounded by the seemingly infinite forest and there was even a decent sized creek nearby. With a shake of his head the metal bands on his tendrils clicking together, he maneuvered his ship to land at the far edge of the glen, hidden by shadows and just a few yards from the creek. Satisfied with the location and turning on his camouflage he ventured out into this new forest.

Summersaulting over the treetops, Lar'ja thei-de couldn't help but feel a tingling over his skin. It went to his very mind and soul. 'There is something strange about this forest.' he thought to himself as he slowed down a top a beautiful oak. Switching his head gear to see better, he turned the vision into each one he had and only when he went into night vision did, he see these black eight-legged monstrosity's. His head moved back in astonishment; he has never seen creatures like these before in his entire life. Treading the tree carefully, he made his way towards them, keeping back while observing them scurry away.

The webs they left behind however, he grabbed a few and placed them in a speciman container for study later.

The Yautja Elder decided to move on. He could hunt them later, he must scout this new forest.

---Deeper into the Forest---

There were many creatures he has observed, creatures as black as night, skeletal, winged creatures (Thestrals), a solid white and etheral creature with a horn on its head (Unicorn), the eight-legged things (Acromantula), a strange combination of flying bird and a hooved creature (Hippogriff), green twig things (bowtruckles), and oddly enough an Ooman vehicle that was driving on its own.

He didn't dare get closer to the creatures he has seen. He knew he could win a fight but a smart warrior gathered information first and then made a decision on if was wise or not.

The Yautja couldn't help but feel that this was going to be where he met his life mate.

----Hogwarts---

Severus Snape made his way through the halls and past the scores of idiots (sorry children). He was heading up to the headmasters office in regards to making a trip into the Forbidden Forest in 3 days. The Potions Master had to make sure nothing would get in his way of a quiet weekend.

(oh, if only that were true)
