      I knew the moment I read it that I had to record it, it was such a great look at Tom Riddle. Harry Potter was my gateway fandom, I can't imagine not coming back to it periodically :)

   I'd like to read more Harry Potter but with 250,000 entries it's impossible to know what to choose. Can you recommend authors or works you'd recommend? How do you choose what to record? This is a very old fic. Thank you.

      Ah man, I can't remember half the stuff I've read. Mostly it's Harry/Draco or gen or offbeat rarepairs. Off the top of my head, I like most fic by waspabi, firethesound, aideomai, lettered, faithwood, saras_girl, femmequixotic. (I think these are all Harry/Draco authors actually lol)

      As for picking fic, I'm always open to the idea of podficcing something as I read it. If it hits the right notes of a) length I can record, b) fic that strikes a chord then I add it to a ridiculously long list. This one I came across because I was going through lanna's backlog (they've written some really neat worldbuilding stuff for other fandoms I'm in) and they have blanket permission. If I find a fic I like by an author who has blanket permission I will usually go through everything they've written in fandoms I recognize for more stuff to record :)

         Thanks! I think one way I can find HP fics is to look at whom you record and see if I like other things by that author! Yes, I enjoyed the podfic; just the right amount of emphasis on how Tom is going to be better than them. Repeated over and over until he decides he can never die and the madness begins.

   I've just relistened to this and Forty Points and they're still very creepy. I have indeed found the best HP fics to read by searching podfic, and am glad to have found them. I've been listening to All Roads Lead Me Back to You almost daily for a couple of weeks, because it's a fix-it I love. Thanks again!
