My swtor fic I have been working on for a while using my ocs from my blog https://chubbyooo.tumblr.com
The war against the eternal empire is over and with the war between the empire and the republic returning new threats arise in the galaxy. The leader of the Alliance is plagued with a familiar sith while trying to reconcile a broken friendship. A Jedi finds a path to further knowledge and must follow it. A smuggler and a ex republic trooper deal with a world where they no longer fit and go searching for their past. And two young force users help a mysterious benefactor return to her former glory. Their adventures will test their resolve and teach them the force is not black and white, there's always going to be blurred lines.

Chapter Text

Kyradia didn’t want to get up, her messy hair covered her eyes as she tried to check the time. She had a hard time finding her clock in the dark room, 4:00 AM wow well there’s an excuse. She laid down on what she thought was her bed but what she quickly realised was the sofa and stared at the ceiling. She frowned, there was a blanket on this bed, she smiled thanks Ands of course he brought her one the romantic butthead. There was no use in staying awake so she turned over and tried to get to sleep.

Well that was clearly not going to happen 30 minutes later and she still couldn’t sleep, she sat up looking around sat the dusty and empty engine room in her ship the Fury a slow hum still echoing from the engine. Her holocom was on the table, her heart sank as she tried to remember who she was trying to call, many people came to mind. Well given the location it was likely she was trying to build up the confidence to call Ashara. Kyradia let out a big yawn as she stood up no use in staying here to do nothing but stare at technology.

Kyradia went to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror, she could hardly see herself behind that forest of red she called hair. She began to try and untangle it, same clothes as yesterday seems about right, parting her hair to stare back at herself. Kyradia wasn't too tall only 5'6'' but her form was imposing nonetheless, Kyradia's crimson skin was covered head to toe in traditional Dathomiran Tattoos, not every zabrak would be as adorned in them as Kyradia was but she'd done plenty to earn them. She pulled the last strands of hair out of a tangle around her horns and began to brush it, she didn't know many people with hair that matched their skin colour but she guessed it really depended on the species.

Kyradia let her mind wonder while waking up, everything seemed so wrong right now, she kept messing up. She was the alliance commander, she knew she had to make these tough decisions but why was it all so hard. Kyradia knew she had messed up with Ashara and wouldn’t be surprised if she never wanted to see her again. But still this was bigger than that Kyradia knew she’d made the right call choosing the transparent empire over the republics unpredictable corruption but what that meant for her alliance she wasn't sure. There was no winning for her right now and she kept driving people away as a result of her impulse decisions, first Ashara and now…

Kyradia continued to spiral for a couple minutes then quickly snapped out of it as she sensed Andronikos, he was already dressed, he was so much better at life than her

“hey Ky, you alright? you fell asleep in the engine room”

“oh yeah sorry I couldn’t sleep” hopefully that was enough she didn’t want to talk about it

“does it have anything to do with the holocom” his eyebrows were raised he clearly knew something was up

Kyradia looked away holding her arm “maybe a bit”

“don’t worry about it too much you can take all the time you need to handle it, I don’t like seeing you be anxious it’s not a good look on you” Kyradia raised an eyebrow

“so what would you prefer” she said putting on an evil grin messing with a little bit of lightning in her hands

Andronikos turned red “uh ah well... you know i would ah…” Kyradias grin only broadened “I would just prefer you to be okay you know” aw that’s sweet guess this wasn’t the time for flirting

“thanks Ands I know... rugged space pirate my ass” she teased

“hey shut up i’m plenty tough” Andronikous said trying to hold in a smile

“uh huh sure” Kyradia smirked

With that he left her alone, she was about halfway through finishing her hair, her horns could be clearly seen and Her face wasn’t completely covered in hair now for the back. She felt a little better now, she smiled warmly i don’t think i could ever push him away so that’s something.

Kyradia knew she’d have to call Ashara eventually, even just as a last favour to Kavaraa maybe to make up for things. She sighed there it was again her mistakes her stupid stupid mistakes, others not understanding what was necessary and Kyradia getting the blame for it when she was just trying to… she winced. Kyradia had been running the brush through her hair harder than she thought and looked at the red hair on the brush she accidentally ripped out, oops gotta stay calm don’t fall back into old habits you know where that leads. Kyradia wished things were simpler then she could please everyone but she knew without her guidance the galaxy would just go back to an endless pointless war.

Kyradia went back to the engine room and stared at the holocom for about 10 minutes her leg jittered as she stared at it. Kyradia never used to be anxious, all these attachments made her a worrier. But nonetheless she knew this would plague her until she did something about it, Kyradia dialed the number and the holocom flickered to life with the blue transparent form of a togruta, orange skin, calm expression, Ashara…
