January Crossover Prompts challenge

Chapter 29: 29. Trust - Sean Renard/ Harry Potter (Grimm) continuation of 20 and 25

Chapter Text

Sean knew he had made a mistake in just sending Harry outside of his apartment. Not only had the Brit been nice to him, but he had also felt incredible in their short-lived relationship. But of course, he had to blew it, for himself, and for Harry.

When the Brit, who hadn’t looked or felt like a Wesen, had suddenly told him it was alright for him to Woge in bed, he had freaked out. For so long there had been agents send by his brother or cousins, who had tried to get close to him, only to betray him to the Royals in an effort to put him out of the game.

Never mind that Portland was known as a safe-heaven for Wesen, especially once Nick came into his own and approached all of this from a cop perspective instead of a Grimm one.

Sighing, he rested his head into his hands, looking up when said Grimm and his partner entered his office, the look Nick and Hank exchanged letting him know he wasn’t doing a great job of keeping it hidden that he felt like crap.

“You alright, Captain.”

Sean sighed again, “I made a huge mistake last night.”

Both of his best detectives took a seat and invited him to spill his story, which he did, happy to have people around him that were willing to listen, and who knew everything that was going on behind the scenes.

Nick hummed, “I think you overreacted a little bit, but I think if you were to approach him, he’d be open to talk this out. This man seemed really smitten with you, Sean.”

Sean sighed again, “I think you’re right, but I can’t just leave the precinct like this.”

Nick grinned, “sure you can, leave everything in our hands, and Wu’s, we’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, while you take the time to get everything right with your lover.”

Sean gave a small smile, before he nodded, knowing that between Nick, Hank and Wu, everything would be going as it always did. Not only that, but the three men had proven themselves capable of handling everything he did – even if it took the three of them to do so.

“Wish me luck then.”

Hank smiled, “I don’t think you need luck, Captain, you just need to trust in this, that it will be alright.”
