Taken Away From Home 2.0

Chapter Text

Sang drove away from the only home she had ever known. She looked back from the back seat with tears in her eyes as they drove away from her father. Daniel Sorenson could no longer handle his wife's infidelity and Maria Sorenson decided she no longer wanted to be married to Daniel. They had a fierce battle in the Court about their daughters, but in the end Maria got Custody of both their daughters and he was left with their Ranch and farm - if he had a choice, he would have gladly taken their daughters, because now he was all alone.

At the tender age of ten and Marie being fifteen, Sang didn’t understand why her mamma was taking her away from daddy - she wanted to stay with daddy and help him around the farm like she had always done. She loved her chores on the farm and loved doing them more with daddy around. She just wanted to know and understand why mommy was taking them away - the only thing mamma told them was that daddy didn’t want them anymore,

Marie was going to be sent to a private school  in Illinois, while Sang herself was going to be home schooled. Marie was very happy about going to the private school, while Sang was not because she was deathly afraid of their mother, because when their father wasn’t around she liked to punish Sang - but in a way that the others wouldn't notice.

Marie was allowed to go out and make friends as she wished while they lived in South Carolina, Sang herself was not allowed to set even one of her feet off of the Ranch / farm as it was her mothers rules. But in fact she had one friend that her mother never knew about, - the little boy liked to wear black and had accidentally wandered onto their Ranch / Farm and couldn’t find his way back to his home, she was about to turn seven that year.

The clever girl that Sang was had seen the way the boy now named North - as her father had asked the boy his name - flinched away from her fathers touch, how he was bruised  under his clothes and how adept he was at hiding it and acting normal as if nothing was wrong in the first place. His beautiful eyes were dull and in those pretty eyes he hid very deep and sorrowful pain. But it was none of her business and so she hadn't told her father.

In that manner time quickly went past and she and North became very good friends with each other. He told her about his father and what he did to him while Sang told him about her life on the farm / Ranch and some of the things that her mother did to her.

They stayed friends until her mother became sick, she went to the hospital and came back with many different sort of medicines. The problem wasn’t the medicines, no it was the Alcohol she drank with all of her medicines and all the men she slept with, she didn't care if they were single or married - she  slept with them all, that was what broke her father.

Months went by in this manner, her mothers punishment became worse and worse and she even forbade her from talking to North, but Sang couldn’t do that, he was her only friend and so she sneaked out to be with North and she even asked her father a few times.

Time came that Sang was meant to go to school but her mother was against it and told Daniel that Sang would be home schooled. Maria didn’t teach Sang anything even though Daniel bought her the books, so Sang decided to teach herself and what she didn’t understand, she looked up on their computer that was connected to the Internet.

Three years went by in this way, her parents were always fighting and it never stopped, it began when they woke up or was in the same room and it ended when they were in different rooms far away from each other. They no longer lived in the same room and tried avoiding each  other as much as they could.

At the end of the third year Maria Sorenson filed for divorce and too hurt Daniel more told him that Marie was never his daughter that she had affairs the whole time they were married and even though Sang was his that she would also take her just to spite Daniel.

All of those times that Daniel had went out the Auctions and selling their vegetables and grain at the markets - she was sleeping around with every one she could . Almost everyone in town knew about this, but the people that knew this didn’t want to tell him and all his friends hadn't known about this and so couldn’t tell him a thing about this.

Daniel didn’t care that Marie wasn’t his daughter and tried fighting for both girls - he had in fact watched her grow up with all his Love and care and still loved her as if she was his own daughter and wanted her to live with him and Sang, but in the end he lost to Maria Sorenson and she got custody of both girls.

Daniel stood heartbroken outside the Ranch / Farm where his happy family once lived and watched as his ex - wife drove away with his whole life in her car. His daughters, they were now gone!! He would probably never see them again or when he did - they would be grown up and he would have missed the rest of their lives!!

All that was left of his family was a broken man with a big empty family home , with no one to live in but himself.

Chapter 2: Chapter One

Chapter Text

# Age 10 - 11 #

Sangria Sorenson was 10  the year her mother forced her to learn how to play the Piano and because she had Photographic memory she only had to learn the lyrics once and then she could play them flawlessly.

Even though she had not made any mistakes her mother would punish her for a mistake her mother thought she had done, just because she could and wanted to.

Not only was Sang playing for Hours on end, with out any breaks, food or water - when she was done she had to make her mother food and made sure she drank her medicine - Sang also had to make sure that her mother was happy with what she made, because if her mother wasn’t happy she would first throw Sang with the plate of food and then make sure to punish her harshly. And when she was finished with that she had to clean the house, because her mother did not want strangers in her house.

Sang was isolated and missed her sister and father a lot, she didn’t have many friends, just the one, his name is North.

When Marie did call Sang was never allowed to speak to her, when her Father’s number showed up on the telephone her mother ignored it and she was not allowed to use the phone and even if she could she did not have North’s number to call him.

Sang’s mother forbid her from going out of the house, she was like a trapped animal in a cage - only her cage was a gilded mansion. Other times her mother would go out for days or weeks and when she came back she stank of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and men, but Sang still had to stay in the house, her mother would know if she did any thing she wasn’t allowed to do because her mother had installed many cameras in the house.

Other times her mother would bring back men and then Sang had to play for them, she just had to avoid their lust filled eyes and their filthy touches, the next day they would be gone.

At Sang’s 11 birthday finally dawned, she was gaunt, thin, pale and had dark circles beneath her once bright eyes, but now they were dull.

She was made to play the Piano late into the night, then made to clean and then she could go sleep, but when she finally could go to bed she would be awaken by terrible night terrors.

The only bad thing for Sang was - she could never forget her punishments as they were branded into her memories because of the Photographic memory.

Then I am studying and that is also a lot of work.I just found out that two of my sisters boys, both have the Corona virus.

Chapter 3: Author's Note

Chapter Text

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

I am sorry this is not a chapter.

I know I promised a chapter for all my books, but I ended up in Hospital for a few days and couldn't write and then my sister of 15 ended up in the Hospital for a week. I am struggling to find work and doesn't have time to write, I used to write for fun these days it feel like an obligation and then you get the people that criticize your work as well. And I also have 3 of my own books that I am writing and thinking of publishing.

If you don't mind give me a week to let me think about it, my books would either go on hold or might be given to someone that wants to write it or I might continue.

Chapter 4: Chapter Two

Chapter Text

# Age 11–12 #

From the age of 11 and through out the year she turned 12, young Sang was forced by her mother to learn how to play the violin.Despite having to learn how to play the violin to perfection, she would be stiff for hours. She still had to cook all three meals — which she wasn't allowed to eat, practice her piano playing, and then a new chore was added to the list: to clean the house and keep it spotless.

The violin was an easy instrument to learn, and she mastered it within a year, even though she had so many other things to do. Sang liked the violin very much; it was soothing and calmed her nerves.

Sang was mostly always tired and hungry because the night terrors kept her awake, and the only time she was fed was when her mother decided to give her some scraps of leftover food from her plate. Even then, it was not enough for a growing pre-teen.

Every so often, it would make her sleepy, and other times it would make her angrier, and Sang would receive worse punishments.

Sang was still a child, even though she was brilliant. She didn't understand what was happening all that well, and her mind couldn't function well if she was hungry and tired.

%%%%%

Sang was just delighted that her mother never knew that she could sing. She didn't know what her mother would do about it, but was sure her mother would exploit her talent in some way or another!

She knew her mother forcing her to learn how to play the piano and violin was for a reason; she just didn't know why yet!

Sang was sure that she would find out very soon!
