Howdy everyone! PoppyTea333 or Tea here and welcome to my one-shots book! 

Here you can request any friendship dramatic you think might work and a scenario for me to work with and I will write it! 

Now, here are the rules.

Rules

1: No NSFW requests (Please, this is a friendship one-shots book and not a shipping one-shot book).

2: No shipping requests.

3: Try and be patience as I have a life outside the screen.

4: If I hit to 10 chapters I may take a hiatus from the book and focus on other things.

5: No crossovers.

And that is about it! I will be posting on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. I also do not have a beta so if I get anything wrong please let me know and if you've got any criticisms or tips about my writing skills please put it in the comments! Just please be nice about it and don't be rude as that would make me stop writing.

Chapter Text

Henry stumbled over towards the blue chair and leaned on it as his cybernetic spine glitched out from being shot at by Reginald who had a hidden pistol in his grey and dark grey top hat.

“Looks like we will be sharing this last ride together!” Reginald exclaimed and laughter echoing in the room along with red lights blaring and an alarm going off as the airship fell and crashed into the Toppat Clan Orbital Space Station and then it went black.

He opened his eyes slowly and then gasped when he saw that he was in a different place and not crashing with the airship. He looks at his hands and they weren’t metal like before and then he finally took notice of where he was,

He was inside an escape pod that was traveling towards Earth in space and he saw the Toppat Clan’s Orbital Space Station and widened his eyes. He started hitting the window of the Escape Pod when he heard the familiar and pained voice of his friend Charles in the communicator. 

“H-Henry? You there? Ugh man that roughed me up, got them though. Gotta be another space pod around here somewhere. Ugh, we did it though we got em. Ugh, pretty good plan, you could say it was great-” Charles' voice was cut off when the space station exploded and he cried out as he slid down to the ground, tears streaming down his face as the space pod entered Earth’s Atmosphere. 

As the pod landed somewhere he was helped by a couple of military men who were asking what happened and where Charles was, he couldn’t answer them as he was overwhelmed with all different types of emotions at once. As they took him to the government base in Dogobogo Jungle and towards General Galefore’s tent who looked up from the papers and smiled, the man next to him told them that the Toppat Clan was defeated.

“Excellent news!” Galeforce said with a smile and then he noticed him with a sad and defeated look on his face and Galeforce widened his eyes. “What happened?” Galeforce asked, and finally noticed that Charles wasn’t there.

The scenery faded away and as he was about to sign to Galeforce on what happened. He felt the wind in his snowy white hair and felt a top hat on top of his head. He suddenly looks up to see a red head girl with sky blue eyes staring at him with hatred. 

Reginald was in front of him along with Right Hand Man and was telling him and the others that he was officially dethroned from being the leader of the Toppat Clan. He growled when Reginald stepped over towards him “I’m gonna want that hat back” Reginald said, reaching for his top hat. That is when he grasped the wrist of Reginald and threw him overboard and then Right Hand Man put his legs in rocket mode and dived towards Reginald.

One of the toppats threw a gun at Ellie who loaded it and pointed it at his chest. “Jump or I’ll make you jump.” Ellie said and he growled at the girl and then suddenly, three options showed up in front of him.

They were Chainsaw, Save State, Helicopter Hat, and Plead.

He chose the helicopter hat and saluted at the toppats then fell backwards off the plank. As he fell he quickly put his hat in Helicopter mode and he rammed himself into the brig and he crashed into one of the cell doors, leaving a hole in front of it and crashing into the guard which was now unconscious.

He groaned in pain and then he stood up as he rubbed his head. That is when he hears a familiar voice in the middle cell. “Henry? We’re with you Henry! Get us outta here!” Geoffrey said and he nodded, then suddenly the guard started to wake up and he flinched. Three more options showed up once again. 

Toppy, Mind Crystal, and Dave.

He chose Dave who escaped his cell and grabbed a hold of the guard from behind before the guard grabbed him and flipped him over and threw him at the door. He went over towards the guard and hit him over on the head, knocking him out. 

“Good, Good team work.” Dave choked out and he nodded and started picking the guard’s pockets to find the keys for the other cells. Once he finally did he unlocked both of the cells and both Thomas and Geoffrey walked out of the small rooms. “Thanks Henry, it’s not right of what they did to ya.” Geoffrey said then an announcement played on the speakers. “The denouncement ceremony has been completed, Henry is no longer the leader of the Toppat Clan.” The voice said and then it ended. 

They all looked at each other and then Geoffrey spoke up “How do you want to proceed boss? I got a few ideas.” Geoffrey said as he pointed to himself and three options came up that were The Good Gents, Midnight Surprise, and Deuces!

He chose the Deuces option and Geoffrey quickly found an escape pod and hit the golden yellow button that went down and it opened with a hiss. Geoffrey then looks to all three of them “Quick everyone! Get into the escape pod.” Geoffrey ordered and everyone filed inside. 

As they went inside, Dave noticed how tight it was in the pod as they escaped the airship. Henry closed his eyes and then everything went black.

Henry woke up screaming as sweat trickled down his face. His breathing was rapid as he placed his hands on his forehead as panic etched his mind. That is when he hears muffled sounds of two sets of footsteps running up the stairs in a hurry and then the door towards his bedroom slammed open and in came Charles and Ellie whose eyes were filled with worry and fear.

Ellie ran over towards him and gently placed her two hands on his shoulders. “Calm down Henry, breath alright? It was just a nightmare.” Ellie said gently, her blue eyes filled with concern and fear not like her Civil Warfare counterpart whose eyes were so filled with betrayal and hatred that he was afraid of her. 

“Yeah man, just follow what we do. Breath in and out.” Charles said as he kneels by the bed and places a hand on his bed. He started following what his friends said and breathed in and out, his eyes closed as he tried to focus on his breathing. 

“That’s it, you're doing great!” Charles said and after a couple of minutes his breathing was finally normal and he opened his eyes to see the kind green and blue eyes of both of his friends. He wipes away his tears that were falling down his face and sighed shakily. 

“Henry, was it one of the timeline nightmares again?” Ellie asked and Henry hesitated before he nodded, almost forgetting that he told both Charles and Ellie about the other timeline visions before. “What was it this time?” Charles asked as he sat on the edge of the bed while Ellie sat down on the grayish blue carpeted floor after she let go of his shoulders. He hesitated again, he could tell them about Revenged but how is he going to talk about Civil Warfare and Valiant Hero?

“Henry?” Ellie’s concerned voice broke through his thoughts and he looked up, not realizing that he was staring at his hands and let out another sigh and started signing. “I had a nightmare about another timeline that I dubbed Revenged.” He hesitantly started, his hands moving swiftly and a bit slowly for the other two to understand. “I guess I shall start from the beginning. I was the leader of the Toppat Clan and I was kidnapped silently by the wall who was looking to arrest me for a while.” Henry signed “As I woke up in an interrogation room with Dmitri sitting in front of me, he explained to me that they were looking forward to arresting me due to all of the robberies I have done in the past.” Henry said with sadness and winced when he saw Charles and Ellie’s eyes widened even though they knew about his past it was still shocking to them.

“Dmitri then said that I would be there at the wall for a very long time and ordered his right hand man Grigori to take me to the holding cell to wait for my own cell. As he threw me into the holding place with my hands cuffed he told me to wait there until my cell was found.” He signed “I decided to wait for a transfer and Ellie had gone first towards her cell and then I had my cell. When I finally got into my cell, I used a Laser Plane which cut a circle underneath me and crushed a guard that was underneath my cell.” He said and then he stopped to take a breather and both Charles and Ellie were looking at each other before they looked at him.

“What happened next?” Charles asked and Henry sighed and started signing again. “The crushed guard had a phone and I called Reginald to come and rescue me and it took him two hours to get to the complex. I walked out of the room and stumbled onto a cafeteria full of guards and other staff members. A drill pod crashes into the cafeteria with Wilhelm Krieghaus, Sureshot Sherman and Ahnoldt Schwarz.” He said and he moved upwards and leaned back on the headboard of his bed and closed his eyes as he remembered the timeline.

“Wilhelm and Sureshot waged battle with the wall staff and Ahnoldt gave me some items to help me escape. I picked up my old scooter and used it but it only went halfway and I had to jump off the scooter. Reginald caught me but then he decided to not pull me up. He goes on and then reveals that he had the Airship set course for The Wall and confronted me to take his position back as the leader of the Toppat Clan.” Henry signed and he let out a shaky breath. He sees Charles tense and Ellie clenches her fist out of anger.

“Reginald then lets go of me, causing me to fall off the airship and towards my death in the cold waters far below.” He finished and Ellie growled “That son of a bitch! When I see him again I will beat the shit out of him!” Ellie shouted and Charles sighed “We dealt with them remember? They are at the wall now.” Charles said to Ellie to calm her down. “Thank fucking god.” Ellie said and Henry sighed making the two look at him. “But that isn’t all of the story ain’t it?” Charles asked with a raised eyebrow and he nodded and started signing again.

“No it isn’t and before you go and try to kill Reginald, think about it from his perspective. I came bursting into the Airship with the intent of turning him to the government along with the other toppats. So as I had him by his necklace and was about to jump off the airship with him he decided to give up his title for leadership to me for the safety of himself and the other toppats which I accepted.” Henry explained and both Charles and Ellie looked at each other before looking back at him and sighed. “Still that doesn’t mean he should’ve dropped you and killed you.” Charles said and Henry nodded “Anyways as I floated in the cold waters, a boat came by and picked me up. This lady named Dr. Vinschpinsilstien or Dr. V revived and patched me up. I woke up thinking I was dead only to see that I had a cybernetic right arm and spine.” He signed with a shiver “Dr. V explained to me how she found me and that she dealt with the Toppat Clan before and I stumbled out of the bed and outside of the room on the boat, she told me to take it easy and also said that the toppats left a couple of minutes ago in the north.” Henry signed with a sigh and then narrowed his eyes as he rubbed his arms.

“What happens next?” Ellie asked and he was silent for a moment before he let out a breath and started signing again. “I activated my rockets that were in my spine and flew over towards the airship and crashed into the cockpit and into Reginald who ordered his Right Hand Man to attack me. We fought for a couple of hours and I destroyed Right Hand Man with an energy blast and killed Right Hand Man. Afterwards I landed back into the cockpit and started fighting Reginald.” Henry explained “As I lifted him up in the air I stapled him to the walls and he said to me “So that’s it then, you're just going to leave me here to go down the ship?” and then I walked away and suddenly a bullet entered my spine and heard Reginald -who pulled a secret pistol out of his hat- say “Looks like we will be sharing this last ride together!” and then the airship crashed into the docked space station and destroyed both of the vehicles.” Henry signed with a shiver.

“Did you survive?” Charles asked with worry and Henry nodded “I did somehow and when I woke up in wreckage and saw a very mortally wounded Reginald who woke up as well and asked me if everything was worth it and passed on.” Henry said with sadness in his eyes “My life sustaining cybernetics were useless thanks to Reginald’s actions and I crawled out of the wreckage, weakened and unstable. I used a stick to go to the hillside of the jungle and rested alongside a boulder and passed away.” Henry signed and everyone was silent for a while.

After a couple of agonizing minutes, Charles finally spoke up “That isn’t all ain’t it? There is more to your dream.” Charles asked and he hesitated for a moment before he nodded his head slowly. “What else is there?” Ellie asked and he took a deep breath before he started signing again. “I guess you can say that, the other parts of the dreams were about you two in different timelines.” He signed, making both of his friends widened their eyes out of shock and confusion. “What do you mean?” Ellie asked as she crossed her arms and he sighed.

“That wasn’t the only timeline that was shown to me in my dream. There were two other ones that I dubbed the Valiant Hero and Toppat Civil Warfare.” He started with a deep breath. “Valiant started after I the wall by faking my death I went to a tavern and saw Alice Hamilton’s BCC news which was about how Toppat Orbital Station was now in-orbit and heard a noise outside only to see three toppat members getting beamed up by the station and Charles arrived just too late to stop them.” He explained hesitantly. 

“We reunited and Charles explained that he thought that I was dead along with everyone else at the government base. We both agreed that we should go into space and take down the space station together since Charles now considers the fight against the toppats something personal.” Henry signed and he shakily took a deep breath and let it out. “We rode up into space in a Government Prototype Spaceship and used a trash ball to get up and close to the station undetected. Charles drives the spaceship head-on into the station and penetrates through the exterior of the station and into said station’s core which was critically damaged from the crash. Me and Charles went into another room with a jammed door and we went through a vent that led to an escape pod room.” Henry continued and Charles looked at him with a worried expression on his face while Ellie had a look of concern and fear etched in her face .

“We went over towards the cracked escape pod and I opened it with a it of difficulty and when we entered the pod, Charles commented on how he can’t wait to get home and then suddenly one of the toppat members named Jacked Hughman forced me out of the pod which made Charles attack Hughman and threw me back inside.” Henry signed as tears gathered in his eyes. “But before Charles could get back inside the pod himself, Hughman tackled him down and the escape pod closed leaving me inside. I scrambled up to the door and Charles said that he would find another way but he was cut off when the pod launched and was heading straight for Earth.” Henry said and then tears started to fall down his face as he rubbed his arms together after he finished signing. 

He looked up to see Charles with sorrow in his eyes and saw Ellie with tears glistening in her eyes as she had her hands covering her mouth out of shock. He took a deep breath and then shakily continued signing “I was very worried and then Charles connected me through the small headset that Charles gave me at the beginning of the mission and informed me that he was able to overpower Hughman and that there should be a spare escape pod nearby, he said “Henry you there? Ugh man that rough me up, we got em though. There’s gotta be another space pod somewhere. Ugh, we did it though we got them. Ugh you could say it was the greatest-” and the line cut off as the space station exploded.” Henry signed, not stopping the tears that were flowing down his cheeks.

He hears Ellie gasp and let out a small little sob. “I broke down in the pod which landed on Earth, military men found me and took me to Galeforce who received the word from Paul Ascott who took me to the general in the first place. That is when Galeforce finally noticed that you were gone Charles and I started to explain everything that happened and we had a funeral for you on top of a hill in a couple of days.” Henry finished as he was now sobbing along with Ellie who stood up and hugged both him and Charles who was silently throughout the story.

Charles hugged them both tightly, he had small tears gathering in his eyes and Henry buried his head in his best friend’s shoulder as he tried to calm himself down. After crying and saying things towards each other, they all calmed down and Ellie let go of the both of them, wiping away her tears. Henry let go of Charles and took a deep breath shakily before he two, wiped away his tears as well. “Now that was over with, Henry would you like to finish your story? You said there were three timelines right?” Charles asked and Henry hesitantly nodded his head and started signing again.

“Yes… but I have to warn you about this timeline, this is before I discovered this timeline and didn’t know that I can work with someone and not ditch them.” Henry signed and Ellie raised an eyebrow as Henry leaned back on his headboard. He sighed “This timeline is called Toppat Civil Warfare, it is where I am the leader of the Toppat Clan and helped the clan escape the government.” He explained as he saw Ellie sit down back on the floor.

“In this timeline, I was caught again by the wall and this time as they threw me into the holding cell and asked Ellie to help me get to the vent above us and she did. This Ellie helped me get to the vent which I opened with my feet and once I got inside I used a rock to free myself from the cuffs.” Henry said and he looked away from his two friends.

“As I stood, trying to figure out what to do I went to the left. Leaving behind that Ellie to go into my own path which would eventually lead me towards my own destruction.” Henry stated and he heard Ellie gasp and he flinched. He stopped looking away from his friends and looked over at Ellie who had a shock expression on her face. “I made my way to the storage room and spotted Isaac Binderson and Heath Stone talking about some video game and then used a whoopee cushion tied to a rock and threw it at the guards who then started fighting with one another about who farted.” Henry signed with a sigh.

“After that I ran past them, I went down the hallway that led to a security office. The door at the end was locked and I saw a hatch in the ceiling in order to reach the office and I super jumped which landed perfectly on the ceiling and went through the hatch.” He signed “Inside the office, I reached towards an elevator shaft and jumped into the shaft with a balloon which I started to inflate which slowed me down once it got big enough and I hopped out of the shaft.” He explained as he looked away from Ellie’s stare.

“I looked around and saw a pipe leading towards a vent that led outside. I found a helium tank and used it to allow me to float towards the vent and crawled outside, finding myself at the docks with two guards I had to pass.” Henry signed “I climbed up a couple of boxes and used a leaf which transformed me into a raccoon and I used my tail to fly pass the two guards and landed behind even more boxes.” He said and he looked back at Ellie who had her arms crossed and he sighed tiredly.

“As I stood back up on my two feet, three vehicles. One was an Rocket, one was a ship named S.S. Annie, and one is a small rubber boat that I decided to use and sailed away towards where the last time I saw the Toppat Clan Airship.” Henry signed and he narrowed his eyes and placed his hand on his right shoulder as he finished signing.

“Why did you leave me?” Ellie asked, her voice calm and filled with anger. It went silent for a minute, only breathing and the soft breeze from the outside could be heard and then he sighed and started signing again. “Like I said before, I did not know that this timeline existed and I was also only thinking about myself and the Toppat Clan at the time.” He explained, and Ellie sighed. “Alright, that still didn’t mean you had to leave me er that timeline me all alone.” Ellie said and he nodded solemnly.

“I’m sorry, I really wish I could take it all back but after everything that has happened to me I really didn’t trust a lot of people, including the people in my clan though I only had a few people that I could trust.” Henry said and then he started explaining the next part of the story. “It was three days after my escape from the wall undetected and unbeknownst to me, Ellie escaped as well and hitched a ride on my vehicle that I was riding back to the airship to resume my duties.” Henry explained, looking at the window above his desk and noticed that it was still midnight as the moon was shining above in the night sky. 

He sighed and continued signing a bit slowly. “As I entered the cockpit both Reginald and his Right Hand Man were surprised to see me, which hurt me a lot.” Henry started with a sad expression on his face. “Ellie then surprised me when she entered the cockpit of the airship as well and introduced herself towards the clan and explained how I had abandoned her to rot in prison after I had exploited her own trust for my gain…” Henry signed as he narrowed his eyes. “Reginald spotted an opportunity to reclaim power in the clan and called me out for my lack of honor at the time and began to rally his clanmates to the effort of overthrowing me from the clan leadership.” Henry said.

“Just like the Revenge Ending.” Charles commented and Ellie widened her eyes as if her mind just had everything clicked into place. “I guess you can say that.” He commented “Anyways, Thomas Chestershire and Geoffrey Plumb thought I was a pretty good leader to the clan and voiced their opposition to the change of leadership only for Right Hand Man to order any of my loyalists to be sent to the brig.” Henry continued with sadness in his eyes as he signed slowly again for his friend’s to understand him.

“I was sent to the plank during the denouncement ceremony and Reginald started talking about me being dethroned and was about to go for my top hat and I threw him overboard and forced Right Hand Man to fly from the airship to catch him.” Henry signed “Ellie and the other toppats quickly responded and one of them handed Ellie an assault rifle and told me to jump, I jumped off the airship to Ellie’s delight and then used an helicopter rotor in my hat and used it to head back into the airship and crashed into Dave’s cell in the brig which left an huge hole in the cell door.” Henry said and then cracked his knuckles as his hands were getting tired from signing all night.

“Wait, Dave was there?” Ellie asked and Henry nodded his head. “Remember Ellie, this is a timeline where Dave was still captured by the Toppat Clan before Henry saved him from the clan.” Charles said and Ellie nodded. “I see.” She said her voice going quiet as she rubbed the bridge of her nose. 

“As I crawled out of the cell door, I saw Floyd Winters, the brig guard, knocked out due to my crash landing and heard Geoffrey calling my name and assuring me that he and Thomas were with me and asked me to free them from their cell.” Henry continued “Then Floyd began to wake up and I asked Dave to help me out in which he attempted to charge at Floyd and immediately got overpowered but I saw an opening to knock Floyd out again and robbed him of his brig keys.” Henry signed and he took a couple of deep breaths and continued signing again.

“With the keys, I free both Geoffrey and Thomas from their prison and then we hear over the intercom that I was officially denounced as the Toppat Leader. Geoffrey asked me how we should continue from here and then Geoffrey found an Escape Pod and we used that to get out of the airship. On our way to the ground we collide with Reginald and Right Hand Man, unknowingly killing them both.” Henry signed with sadness in his eyes.

“As we landed safely but are now left stranded in a wasteland now on our own while Ellie takes control of the rest of the Toppat Clan, which became her squad. Since then, the clan has been split into two with both sides engaged in a civil war.” He finished and then everyone was silent and all they could hear was the wind blowing outside softly and the crickets chirping.

“Well…. That was… quite the story Henry.” Charles said as he sat on his bed and he rubbed his forehead. “Even though you explained why you left Ellie that was still a sucky move that ya made Henry.” Charles said and he flinched a bit and nodded. “I-I know it was, that is why I don’t wanna make that mistake ever again.” He signed and Ellie bit her lip silently which made Charles raise an eyebrow at her.

“Is everything alright Ellie?” Charles asked softly and he looked over at his best friend who then sighed. “I am trying to understand why you left me or that other Ellie back at the wall to suffer but I am also trying to understand why you did it.” Ellie commented and he hesitated for a moment before he huffed out some air and started signing again. “Like I said at the beginning of the Toppat Civil Warfare ending, I was alone for the most of my life up until now and I only trusted some of my clanmates like Thomas and Geoffrey with my life.” He signed.

“So when I left Ellie, I did feel some guilt in my heart but I pushed it down because it was me and me alone to get back to my clan.” He signed “But I had to go and I already made my decision and left her and I am sorry.” He signed and he looked away from his friends for the fear of seeing their faces and closed his eyes. He feared rejection and that they don’t wanna be friends anymore.

That is when he heard the shuffling of feet and he flinched when all of the sudden, he felt another body against his and he opened his eyes to see Ellie hugging him tightly and he made a confused sound. Ellie let go of her friend and sat down on the bed with Charles. “I completely understand now why you have done it my friend, even though I didn’t like what you did I can sort of understand why you did it.” Ellie said as she placed a hand on his shoulder and he smiled softly and started signing again.

“So… Do you forgive me?” He asked and Ellie sighed “I don’t know yet, even though I know it has not happened in this timeline it still confuses me at times but me learning this doesn’t make us not friends anymore. You two are still my lovable idiots that I would protect.” Ellie said with her signature grin and she hugged both of them again as he started to cry tears of acceptance and joy.  

He stopped crying again and wiped away the tears as he pulled away from the hug and then he yawned. Charles chuckled and patted his shoulder “We should get back to bed and we will definitely be talking more about this in the morning once everyone rested and got control of their emotions better.” Charles said and everyone nodded. “Yeah we should, well goodnight you two.” Ellie said with a smile as she got up and walked over towards the door along with Charles who looked back at him with a smile. 

“Goodnight bro.” Charles said while turning off the lights that he didn’t even know were on. He smiled and then frowned a bit, despite them knowing the worst of his timelines he still doesn’t know if he can talk to them about the others and he sighed softly. He looked over at his nightstand and opened the top door and started digging into it and grabbed something and took it out.

It was a beautiful carved silver locket that has a diamond with blue jay wings on each side of it carved on the top which he followed the carving with his finger and a silver chain was connected to the locket. He opened it and a soft ticking sound was heard as the clock ticked towards the hours of the night. It currently read ‘12:35 PM’ and there were cracks on the side of it as if someone threw it on something hard.

He looked at it with frustration and placed it back in the door and pushed it back closed. He then ran a hand through his snow white hair and went back into his covers and closed his eyes to return to the realm of sleep, no dreams or nightmares interrupting it as the comfort from his friends voices kept him safe and he finally went to sleep with a small smile on his face. 

Chapter Text

The Toppat Orbital Space Station or TOSS for short floated around the Earth’s atmosphere, inside the space station the toppat-members were traveling throughout the station, talking to each other or walking alone.

A young man with skin so white and so scarred with a mop of snow white hair on top of his head braided in the back with striking cyan blue eyes walked in the hallways of the station, wearing his royal blue suit with his royal blue top-hat that has a golden yellow H shaped brooch on it with golden yellow beads circling around the tophat.

This man is named Henry Stickmin, the newest recruit along with his friend Ellie Rose of Toppat-Clan. They were recruited into the clan because they helped stall the government and the wall from capturing the entire Toppat-Clan so now they were members of said clan and he smiled a bit as he remembered the day he was recruited which seemed like so long ago even though it was two years since that day.

Once the space station launched into space, Ellie was taken to the medical bay for her head wound she gained from Dmitri when he attacked them. 

As Ellie healed, he explained to Reginald about how he had gotten to the wall and how he met Ellie. Reginald exclaimed that he heard the wall had a break out which hasn’t happened in over fifty years and now he completely understood why Dmitri was angry with him and Ellie.

Once Ellie was healed up enough, Reginald held a ceremony and explained to all of the toppat clan-members which were crowded in a room as both he and Ellie were kneeling in front of Reginald with suits on, Ellie with a pink and red suit that have a very light pink top-hat with a lavender rose on the left side of the top hat and he wore a royal blue suit with a royal blue top-hat that has a golden yellow H shaped brooch with golden yellow beads circling the top hat on the top of their heads.

“Everyone! I’d like to welcome our new members, they really showed their guts there when it counted and also they promised to return the ruby.” Reginald announced to the clan and he let out a nervous chuckle and rubbed the back of his neck when the leader mentioned the ruby. Ellie punched his shoulder playfully and gave him a large smile. 

And so, they were faithful members of the Toppat Clan. Surprisingly, he liked this ending better then the others because nobody besides Dmitri and Grigori has died, at least he hopes that they have died. 

He let out a sigh and went into one of the suits pockets and reached for an object which he pulled out and it was the silver pocket watch which glimmered in the light from the station. He stared at it for a while, his mind going someplace else when he collided into another body and they both fell to the ground with a thud and then an ‘oof.’

His pocket watch fell to the ground and hit it with a clang, he rubbed his bottom and groaned a bit as he looked up to see Right Hand Man also on the ground with a hand on his forehead and was rubbing it with irritation. The man’s ginger hair flowing a bit behind him as he opens up his green eyes to look at the floor and then up to him.

“Ah, sorry kid.” Right Hand Man said as he stood up and dusted off his brown suit then reached out his hand and he took it. Standing up, he too also dusted off his suit and grabbed his pocket watch and placed it in his pocket. He looked up at Right Hand Man with a forgiving smile and started signing slowly.

“It’s alright Right, what is going on?” He asked with a curious raised eyebrow and Right chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. “I was actually looking for you kid, I was thinking about giving both you and Ellie some training lessons and so I was going to look for you since I know Ellie is already at the training room practicing her force and such.” Right explained and he nodded his head.

“Sure, I need to start practicing my fighting skills anyways.” He signed and Right grinned and pointed down the hallway and then placed his hand on his shoulder. “Come on then, we don’t wanna keep Ellie waiting then do we?” Right asked and then he led him towards the direction of the training room, he looked at the window which led to the beautiful sparkling stars outside of the station and he relaxed a bit with a smile and then he continued following Right in front of a large door which opened with a hiss and they walked inside. 

He marveled at the sight of the training room, which he always did whenever he entered the room. The room has beautiful marble walls with marble flooring, there was a large window at the back of the room showing the abyss that is space. Training equipment was scattered about and he sees a red headed girl with red lipstick that is wearing a pink and white suit. Her top-hat was a pretty and very light pink top-hat with a lavender rose on it. 

“Hey guys!” Ellie greeted, dusting off her suit as she stopped punching a punching-bag. “Hey there Rose, found Stickmin here and I wanna start training you guys on fighting.” Right said and Ellie nodded with a smile and gave them both a thumbs up. “Of course! Well let’s get started!” Ellie said and they all came together in a circle. 

Right coughed twice and clapped his hands together. “Alright, we should get started now. I want you two to work together and try to fight me.” Right spoke and he nodded and went into a fighting stance as did Ellie. He went in and started kicking and punching Right who kept blocking his attack, Ellie ran and slid on the ground to kick Right off of his feet before Right jumped up in the air and landed behind the now on the ground Ellie. Then suddenly, a memory from a different timeline resurfaced in his mind.

He was running in the cafeteria of the Toppat Orbital Space Station, he hit the button for the door close with a Pew Pew Gun and sighed softly. He turned around and saw Right Hand Man was upgraded with cyborganics on the right side of his face, his left arm has cyborganics and so does his two legs.

Right turned around and growled, he was about to shoot his gun when Right stretched out his left arm and grabbed his chest which made him panic as Right lifted him up in the air and threw him onto the ground which made him gasp in pain.

Right placed his legs on his chest and he started to get an idea and went to sweep the cyborg’s legs but he had completely forgotten that the legs were made out of metal and he grunted in pain.

“Aw, how cute.” Right mocked and punched his face in a very fast moment.

The flashback finished and he went in to sweep the legs of Right who fell on his back and grunted then he looked at him with a smirk. “Good job Rose and Stickmin, I see that you’ve been practicing.” Right said and he helped the other man off the floor and then helped Ellie who started getting off the floor but she was struggling a bit. 

“Thanks Henry, where did you learn that move?” Ellie asked him as she dusted off her suit and he shrugged his shoulders and started signing. “I used to fight big guys when I was just a starting thief so I picked up on some things.” He said in a halved lie, as it was technically true since he used to fight really large men like Right. 

“Huh, well kid you seem to have some skill Stickmin and you too Rose.” Right said and he gave a smug grin towards the two. Ellie rolled her eyes and laughed.  “You’re one strange person Henry, though that is what I like about you.” Ellie said and Right nodded his head and crossed his arms. “Hey, we’re all a little strange.” He signed and everyone laughed which echoed throughout the training room.

Hey yall! Tea here and I am so sorry for not posting in a while, a lot of things has come up in my life that is making me a bit busy to work on the ones shots that I promise that I would do.

I am working on the third one shot but it is going to be a bit a while so I am so sorry for the delay and I hope you all can forgive me.

With that said, I also do have another announcement to make! I will be getting a story out that involves my Henry's backstory and what that pocket watch that I have referenced in the other two one shots means and why he hates it show much.

He was talking with both Ellie and Charles in the government base, they were sitting at a round table and he was drinking some black coffee while Ellie was drinking some green tea and Charles was drinking some soda. 

They were talking about the next mission they were going to do when General Galeforce, Rupert Price, Dave Panpa, Calvin Bukowski and Konrad Bukowski walked inside the base with snow on top of them. Charles leaned on the back of his chair and waved at the group with a friendly smile.

“Heya boss! How did the mission go?” Charles asked General Galeforce who sighed and rubbed his nose. “It didn’t go well kid, the mafia did us dirty.” Galeforce said and he looked at his coffee with anger, Ellie grunted and also leaned back in her chair and folded her arms behind her head. “God, it seems like they are always one step ahead of us.” She said and Charles moved forward in her seat and drank his soda. “They are the Gem Steelers Mafia, they are always going to be one step ahead of us.” Charles said with a sigh.

He narrowed his eyes on the floor before he heard seats being moved to their table and he looked up to see the group sitting down with them, all with disappointing expressions on their faces. Just as the group sat down, the power went out and the snow storm turned into a blizzard outside.

“Oh that is just great.” Rupert said as he hit his head on the table with an exaggerated sigh. The others groaned, thankfully the secondary power source turned on and got the air conditioning on which warmed the place up.  

He looked at his friends and boss, then started to think for a moment and got an idea in which he dug through his pockets and found the cards he stole back in the day and placed them on the table.

“Where did you get those Henry?” Galeforce asked and he nervously rubbed the back of his head then started signing. “Uh, I found them?” He signed and both Ellie and Charles started giggling until Galeforce gave them a death glare with a raised eyebrow which made them shut up.

He coughed a bit before he started signing again “I was thinking about how we could play a game while we waited out in the storm called the King’s Court.” He signed “The rules are simple, we will only use the cards of the king and the ones from the ace to the number seven. When the cards get mixed and everyone takes a card, the person with the King’s card can order anyone with the ace and or the number cards to do any kind of stuff.” He explained, signing slowly so that everyone can read what he is saying.

Everyone looked at each other before they looked back at him. “That sounds like fun!” Charles said and Rupert sighed “Yeah, I guess I am up for a game, since we are snowed in.” Rupert said and everyone else nodded their heads and he smiled brightly.

He starts shuffling the cards and then passes the cards to everyone who had their eyes closed and then everyone opened their eyes and took a look at their cards.

He huffed as he got a number card and looked at the others. “Sweet! I’ve gotten the King card!” Calvin said with a smirk and his twin brother Konrad face-palmed and said “Oh no.” with a groan and Calvin tapped his fingers on the table and it seemed that he got an idea as he gasped and pointed at the general who raised an eyebrow at him with curiosity.

“General Galeforce, I order you to tell us the stupidest thing that you have done in your younger days in the military.” Calvin said and Galeforce sighed and then placed a hand on his cheek. “The stupidest thing I have ever done was trying to do a handstand on one of the tables in a government base and then falling on my ass in front of my mates.” Galeforce said with a rub on his nose and everyone laughed including himself. 

“Can you do a handstand for us?” Calvin asked and Galeforce smiled before getting up then went onto the floor, the general lifted up his entire body with a hand on the floor into the air and used his one finger. Konrad whistles “Damn” Konrad said and Galeforce goes back on his two feet then stretches out his arms. The general then sat back down on his chair and he started to collect the cards, shuffled them and then passed them to everyone again.

He sighed as he looked at the ace card he had gotten and then looked at the others and saw Charles had a mischievous expression on his face and started to sign to him “Charles… What card do you have?” He asked with nervousness and Charles flipped his card around and it was a King’s card. Everyone around the table collectively groaned as Charles cackled manically.

“I order Henry to use this.” Charles said as he got out the old teleporter that he thought he threw it out and he widened his eyes with fear then he started to sign frantically. “Charles, where did you get that? I thought I threw it out!” He said and Charles gave him a smirk and slid it to where he was. “I found it in the trash and was confused as to why it was in there, I started messing with it and I figured out what it was used for. So I order you to use it and see where it takes ya.” Charles said and he sighed before he took it, he looked at the others before he looked back at the teleporter and took a deep breath.

He pressed the buttons that were on the teleporter in the correct order and then he was suddenly teleported in a white light which made him close his eyes for a moment and then he suddenly felt grass underneath his shoes and he cracks open his cyan blue eyes to see that he was on a strange planet and he saw a strange red two legged creature standing over a pair of legs with a bone sticking out of it and the creature looked at him with it’s strange tongue sticking out and they both stared at each other in a moment of silence.

“Urk!” He said and then he started frantically pressing the buttons on the teleporter as the creature launched at him and he closed his eyes as a bright white light entered his vision and he felt himself back on his chair at the government base and he threw the teleporter onto the table. 

“What did you see?” Charles asked and he started signing “You don’t wanna know.” He said and he took a deep breath before he collected the cards and started shuffling them, reminding himself to never give Charles any King’s Card and passed them to the others again. 

They all looked at their cards and he got the ace card in which he sighed disappointingly and then Dave showed his card in which it was a king’s card and he looked at Ellie. “E-Ellie, I order y-you to tell us your most embarrassing memory of ch-childhood.” Dave said and Ellie blushed a bit before she responded.

“Alright, well when I was young me and Jacob would always climb trees in the local forests in our town. So one day, me, him, and a group of friends went to the forest to hang out and I dared a friend of mine to climb a really large tree in a race and we did, though when my friend almost gotten to the top of the tree I used a sling shot and shot a rock at her ass and then she screamed a bit which made the birds scatter out of the tree.” She explained and everyone laughed “What happened next?” Dave asked and Ellie slid a hand down on her face.

“After we both reached the top of the tree and climbed down, my brother scolded me and both me and my apologized to each other and we all went home.” She finished and he started signing “I had a similar thing happen to me and my family before so I completely understand.” He said with a small blush on his face and Ellie smiled at him.

He collects the cards once again and he passes the new ones after shuffling them. Once again, everyone looked at the cards then flipped them over for everyone to see. He saw that Konrad had the king’s card and everyone else had either numbers or the ace cards. 

Konrad tapped his fingers on his chin before he punched his brother playfully on his shoulder with a smile. “I order you to tell us what is your most embarrassing high school memory.” Konrad said and Calvin looked at his brother with widened eyes before they fell and he groaned, sliding his hand down his face “Do I have to?” Calvin asked and Konrad smiled brightly. “Well, I do have the king’s card.” Konrad said with an assumed smile and his brother sighed with some annoyance in his voice.

“Fine.” Calvin said “When we were in high school, I used to be the class clown, the one who pranks everyone. So one day, I decided to prank one of the teachers at the school and created a plan where I would put a bucket of water on top of the classroom door the next day when everyone is at P.E.” Calvin started, a little blush appeared on his cheeks.

“What happened next?” Ellie asked with an raised eyebrow and crossed arms. “Well, it turns out that the teacher knew of my plans and when I got a bucket full of water and tried to set up my prank, the teacher had a bucket full of milk and put it at the classroom entrance. So when I entered the room, the bucket fell on top of my head creating a large mess and my clothes were drenched with milk.” Calvin said and he put his hands on his face as everyone laughed.

“Not your brightest moment huh Calvin?” Rupert said with a smirk and Calvin sighed before rubbing the back of his neck as he laughed nervously. “Yeah, it turns out the teacher knew of my prank because of one of my friends who snitched on me and told the teacher ahead of time. So yeah, it wasn’t my brightest moment.” Calvin said and Ellie giggled.

“Well, at least you tried.” Ellie said with a grin and he nodded his head and then signed “Yeah, if it were me I would’ve not done it since I was the quiet kid in high school.” He said then he grabbed the cards, shuffled them, and then passed them around again.

He looked at his card and noticed that he had the king’s card this time and he smiled. They all showed their cards and everyone looked at him and he started signing “Charles, I order you to use this.” He said with a smirk as he dug through his pockets and found a super leaf and tossed it onto the table. “What is it?” Charles asked with a raised eyebrow.

“It is a super leaf, whenever you use it the leaf transforms you into a raccoon in which you gain the ears and tail.” He explained and Charles widened his eyes. “What?! How is that even possible?” Charles questioned and he shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know, some kind of transformation magic of shorts. It doesn’t hurt you when you use it.” He signed and then Charles sighed.

“Fine, I’ll use it.” Charles said and he reached out to touch the super leaf when suddenly bright light entered their vision and then when it dimmed down Charles was in his chair with arms crossed and had raccoon ears and tail which was swishing back and forth in annoyance.

Everyone was trying not to laugh at Charles' predicament and Charles glared at everyone before he glared at him angrily. “I hate you.” Charles said and he just grinned. Then everyone passed their cards once again and he started shuffling them and passed them around. 

Everyone took a look at the cards and he got an ace card while Rupert got a king’s card which the man shrugged his shoulders and leaned on the back of his chair. “I order…. I order Dave to sing.” Rupert said with a smirk and Dave started to stutter.

“W-What? Yo-You know I am n-not good at s-singing!” Dave said with a blush and one of Charles raccoon ears twitched. “Really? I’ve heard you sing before and it was pretty good.” Charles said and then Galeforce came in and said “It will be alright kiddo, we won’t tell anybody. Right guys?” Galeforce said and glared at both Konrad and Calvin who started nodding their heads. “Yup, our lips are sealed, right Calvin?” Konrad said as he punched his brother in the shoulder. “Mmhm, we won’t tell a soul.” Calvin stated and Dave looked at all of us before sighing.

“O-Okay.” Dave said and he took a deep breath before he started singing. “Bum, bum, bum-ba-da, ba-da, bum, bum, bum-ba-da-ah” Dave started as he started drumming on the table and everyone started clapping and both Charles and Ellie started singing along. “Bum, bum, bum-ba-da, ba-da (Oh, ah-ah-ah-ah). Bum, bum, bum-ba-da, ba-da (Oh, ah-ah-ah-ah). Bum-ba-da,ba-da (Oh, ah-ah-ah-ah). Bum. bum, bum-ba-da, ba-da (Oh, ah-ah-ah-ah).” The three said and he started bobbing his head towards the music.

“Walk outside and you see the sunshine, something's in the air today. Sky is clear and your feelin’ so fine, everything’s going to be a-okay.” Dave sang with a smile and both Ellie and Charles started singing “If you listen carefully, on every corner there’s a rhythm playing.” They said together and then both Charles and Konrad started singing together “Then it happens suddenly, the music takes you over and you’ll-” They said and then everyone started singing.

“Find you’ve got the music in you (Ellie: Fiiiiiiiiind the music), got the music in you (Ellie: Oh, you), find you’ve got the music in you (Ellie: Fiiiiiiiind the music), got the music in you!” They all said together and he smiled happily, even though he couldn’t sing he always loved it when someone did.

“Oh, o-o-oh. Everybody’s sayin’ you should learn to express your voice but if talk doesn’t seem like the answer, luckily you have a choice.” Dave said as he continued the beat with his hands on the table then everyone started singing once again, their voices matching in harmony. “When you find you’ve got the music (Ellie: Fiiiiiiind the music), got the music in you (Ellie: Oh, you), Find you’ve got the music (Ellie: Fiiiiiiiiind the music), got the music in you, got the music, got the music in you!” They said and then everyone started laughing and Calvin nudged Dave’s shoulder gently with a wide grin.

“Good job Dave! Where did you learn to sing like that?” Calvin asked and Dave rubbed his neck nervously “I-I used to be in chorus and band when I was young and for a past time I s-sing a lot because I am b-bored.” Dave answered.

“Well you sing amazingly Dave, you all do.” He signed with a smile and then everyone passed their cards to him and he started shuffling them and once he finished he passed them over to his friends once again. Galeforce showed his card and it was a king’s card and Rupert groaned which made Galeforce chuckle. “Now, Konrad. How about you tell us who is your crush in the base?” Galeforce asked with an raised eyebrow and Konrad blushed a deep red.

“W-What?! I don’t have a crush on anybody here, hehehe.” Konrad said and he rolled his eyes and started signing. “Really? I saw you looking at Amelia with a love-sick expression on your face whenever she comes to the base.” He signed and Konrad started to shake his head and hands. “What? No! I don’t have a crush on her, she probably has a boyfriend or girlfriend back at home anyways.” Konrad said and Galeforce sighed.

“From my understanding, she doesn’t. In her files she is a single girl so you can ask her out.” Galeforce said with a wink which made Konrad blush even more than he thought possible. “S-She doesn’t have a lover?” Konrad asked and Galeforce nodded his head and Konrad seemed to be in thought before he shook his head. “Nah, I shouldn’t ask her. Plus it just seems like she is always busy and doesn’t have time for a lover.” Konrad said softly and Calvin sighed with annoyance and rolled his eyes.

“Come on bro, we’re always busy with the type of job that we have. You just have to have time off and ask her out for lunch or something.” Calvin said and Konrad looked at his brother before sighing. “Fine, I’ll ask her out.” Konrad said and everyone at the table cheered at him then suddenly, the lights and air conditioners turned on and everyone clapped as the blizzard outside finally stopped.

“Wow, that was an amazing game Henry. We should play it again sometime!” Ellie said with a smile and he smiled back and started to collect all of the cards. After he was finished he placed them back in his pocket and Charles turned back into a human. “Yeah! Though I would like to do it when there isn't a blizzard going on.” Charles commented and everyone nodded their heads in agreement as they stood up from the table and started to head outside.

“Yeah same, well I gotta get going. See ya later everyone!” Konrad said with a wave and they waved back as he left with Calvin. “I-I have to go and check up on the dogs at the house and make sure t-their safe.” Dave said and he nodded his head as the man left with Rupert.

Then Galeforce tapped his shoulder and he looked at him. “Kid, I know that you took my playing cards that were at my desk. Can I have them back?” Galeforce asked with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms, he started to laugh nervously before he started running and Galeforce yelled.

“HENRY!!!!”

Bright sunbeams went through the windows of the airship and onto the floor, creating a soft glow into the airship.

Though all is not well in the Toppat-Clan airship as chaos reigns through it’s hallways. A young man that goes by the name of Henry Stickmin was running through the hallways to get to the current Toppat-Clan leader named Reginald Copperbottom who was holding onto his two hats as he ran.

You’re not getting away from me, Copperbottom. Henry thought as he ran, then he saw Reginald pressing some buttons on a remote and then he heard a loud bang behind him and he looked over his shoulder to see large doors closing in on him as he ran.

He looks back at Reginald with determination and he started to dig through his pockets to feel a can of beans and he takes it out then opens it, in which he eats the beans and he farts which gives him the momentum he needs to make it past the door in time but he goes too fast and breaks through a walkway and falls onto the brig below. 

He groans and lifts up his head to see Reginald getting through the doors above the brig and escaping him again. He growls in annoyance and stands up. He then hears a distinctive “Woah” from one of the cells and he looks to see his friend Dave Panpa, who has been missing for a couple of months only to be here in the Toppat-Clan’s airship brig.

His eyes widened with shock and he walked up to the cell and started signing in front of the window. “Dave, is that you? What are you doing here?” He asked with a worried expression on his face and Dave started to explain “I was just trying to explain to the museum’s manger on what happened after you robbed the place when a band of Toppat-Clan’s members came in and attacked us, thinking that the diamond was still there. So when they saw that it wasn’t, they captured me and put me in this cell for information on who stole the diamond before them.” Dave said and Henry nodded his head then used a key in his pocket and released his friend from the cell.

Once Dave got out, he hugged him and he hugged back tightly. Then his earpiece turned on and Charles was on the other line. “Woah, is that Dave Panpa? The guy that Rupert said was missing?” Charles said and gave an earpiece to Dave who turned his on and put it in his ear.

“Y-Yeah, that’s me and who is this?” Dave asked and Charles yelled in the earpiece. “The name is Charles Calvin! I am with the government and we’re trying to catch the Toppat-Clan’s current leader, Reginald Copperbottom. Speaking of which, we need to get to him now.” Charles said and both of them nodded their heads.

Henry nodded his head and looked up at the broken bridge to the door and grabbed out a rocket launcher and put it on. He signs to Dave “Get on!” He said and Dave nodded and walked up towards him. He wraps his arms around his friend and activates the rocket launcher, once he does they are by the door and it surprisingly opens.

Once they were on the other side they were stopped by the Right Hand Man who yelled “Now I’ve got ya.” Right said and he protects Dave as a fight begins, he takes out a multi-bottle rocket and kills Right immediately and he does feel a bit guilty but he shook it off and threw the rocket to the side and went after Reginald as he held Dave’s hand.

As they entered the next room, a large gap before them and Reginald opened the door and escaped them once again. He looked around the area and Dave said “What do we do now?” Dave asked and he thought about it for a moment before he took out a glider.

“Where do you keep on getting this stuff?” Dave asked and he shrugged his shoulders and put the glider on. He made a noise for Dave to get on his back and once he did, he went to the edge of the ledge and jumped off it.

The glider gently flew on top of the other ledge and he threw the glider away once Dave got off of him and they continued their chase after the clan leader.

They were in the cargo bay and both him and Dave captured the leader, he was holding Reginald by his necklace while Dave held him by his arms tightly. Toppat members surrounded them as he pressed the open button for the bay doors.

“Listen, listen. You’ve defeated my Right Hand Man, and you’ve defeated me. I surrender the airship to you.” Reginald said and his eyes widened along with Dave’s but then he glared at the leader and shook his head in no motion.

Then the helicopter was by the entrance of the cargo bay and Galeforce yelled over the speakers. “Good work Henry and Dave! Now just get him back to us and both of you will get your life back!” Galeforce said and both of them nodded their heads in which Reginald widened his eyes with fear.

Dave looked around in the cargo bay and saw a tank nearby, he pointed towards it and shouted to him. “We can use that to escape the airship!” Dave said and he nodded his hand and they both went over towards the tank, Dave opened the hatch and he threw Reginald in there and both him and Dave went into the tank, closing the hatch.

A Toppat member shoots at the tank as they go backwards. They started falling towards the ground which made all three of them float in the tank for a bit and Dave screamed as he held onto him by his face and Reginald did the same.

They crashed to the ground and they all stopped floating. They exited out of the tank and saw the helicopter go onto the ground as Galeforce, Charles, and Rupert exited out of the helicopter. He hands Reginald over to Galeforce who hands him a pardon.

Rupert stared at Dave with tears glistening in his ears and he ran up to him and they both went into a tackle hug. He smiles at his two friends and crosses his arms as they comfort each other.

Galeforce walked up to him and patted his shoulder. “You did a good job Henry, you know. Both you and Charles work well with each other, would you like to join the military son?” The general asked and he nodded his head with a smile and started to sign to him.

“Yeah, I am honestly tired of doing crime and it was fun working with the good guys for once.” He said and Galeforce smiled back at him. “Well, welcome to the military Henry.” Galeforce said and Charles whooped and put his arms around him. “We make a great team! I can see us completing many more missions in the future.” Charles said with a toothy smile and everyone laughed.

Both Rupert and Dave got off the ground and Rupert looked at him with a small smile as he wiped away his tears. “Thank you for rescuing Dave, Henry.” Rupert said and he gave him a thumbs up.

Dave walked up to him and gave him a hug. “Yeah, thank you my friend. I hated being in that cell.” Dave spoke and he hugged him back tightly then let him go.

“It was not a problem, we should get going and go home.” He said and everyone nodded their heads except for Reginald who rolled his eyes as they all went into the helicopter and Charles walked up to the cockpit and the engines started. 

The helicopter went into the skies and towards a nearby government base.

Chapter Text

Charles found himself staring at the invitation in his hands. He had only received this mysterious letter a few days ago while he was out on a mission. The mission in question involved rounding up a few Toppats that had escaped custody and then bringing them back to prison. He found the letter waiting for him on his desk when he returned from that mission and, curiosity grabbing a hold on him, opened the letter to discover the invitation. 

“Whoever sent me the invitation knew exactly where to send it.” He mused “There’s no other explanation for how it got here.”

The only person he could think of that knew where he worked, other than one of his fellow soldiers, was Henry Stickmin. The only problem was that Henry had gone rogue during the airship mission and hadn’t been seen since he took off with a large ruby. He would not have the time to tell Henry where exactly he was stationed before the thief flew off into the distance. Still, that wasn’t the biggest question on his mind. 

What he was really wondering about was the destination listed on the invitation.

You are hereby cordially invited to attend a black tie charity ball in celebration of the Stickmin Space Resort’s recent grand opening!’ The invitation read ‘Please RSVP as soon as possible if you would like to join us. Dress Code: formal wear.’

A space resort? Surely, this can’t be a real thing, can it? He had seen some pretty strange invitations from other sketchy places, but this one took the cake. Yet the more he looked at the invitation in his hand, the more he felt like it was legitimate. “Well, there’s only one way to find out for sure if it’s true.” He muttered “I’ll have to ask the General for permission to go to this ball.” He said and sighed.

He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and went to call the General who answered immediately. “Charles, is everything alright?” The general asked “Well not really, when I got home there was a mysterious invitation to go to Stickmin’s Space Resort Ball and I was wondering if I could go and get some information.” He said and he heard the general hummed on the other side before he responded.

“Hmm, you should probably go and get some inlet on what is going on as we both probably know who sent you that letter.” The general said and he nodded his head. “Thanks boss, I’ll get dressed and head to the space resort. Cya later.” He said and the general said his goodbye and then he hung up.

He sighed and ran his hand down his face. “Looks like I gotta get dressed and head to space.” He said as he went to his room and started to get dressed in his suit, though as he dressed he can’t help but think how Henry would be when he meets him again, would he be the same person he met or would he be someone else?

He runs his hand through his hair and lets out a breath of air. Well, I will find out soon. He thought and started to tie his well tie and looked in the mirror to see himself all dressed up nicely and he smiled to himself. Looking good Charles, looking good. He thought and then he left his room and called the number that was in the letter and told the resort that he would come to the ball and that he would arrive there in a couple of hours. He hung up the phone and put it in his pocket then headed off.

Time-skip

Stars twinkled against the vastness of space as he travels to the Space Resort. From what he learned from the other passengers on the spaceship, Henry stole the station from the Toppat-Clan when they were going to head to space. The remaining Toppat-Clan members that were on the station reformed and started working with Henry as they turned the station into a space resort.

He sighed once he entered the station, feeling a bit weightless as it was strange to travel in space. He ran his fingers through his hair and started exploring the station, he found the cafeteria which was turned into a ballroom and his eyes widened at the sight of the large window at the edge of the room looking out into space. A lot of the old Toppat-Clan members were talking with each other and were just eating some food at the tables. There were also other people as well that weren't Toppat-Clan members.

Hm, it seems that everyone is enjoying themselves and aren’t in any sort of danger. He thought then he let out a breath of relief. Good, that means I won’t have to call the general for any back up. He thought as he went over towards a table where there is a lot of food and started to grab some as he was quite hungry.

That is when he heard footsteps behind him and he looked over his shoulder to see none other than Henry Stickmin himself, the man was wearing a royal blue suit with a bright red tie and his hair was tied up in the back. He turns around, almost dropping his food out of shock. “H-Henry! You’re here! O-Of course you're here, this is your station after all hehehe….” He said, rubbing the back of his neck as he chuckled nervously.

Things went silent for a bit before he coughed and smiled nervously. “So, how are you doing?” He asked and Henry stared at him before he started to sign. “Good, honestly I didn’t think you would come.” He said and he gave him a small smile. “Well, me either but I was wondering where you went after you left us.” He said with a small glare and Henry rubbed his neck and signed again.

“Heh, sorry about that but I do have an explanation for that.” Henry said and he rolled his eyes “Oh do tell.” He said as he went over towards an empty table and started eating his food, the other man followed him and sat in the chair next to him. “It’s a bit difficult to explain but here we go….” Henry started, then he explained how he got the station and how he helped change the lives of the former Toppat-Clan members.

After Henry finished his story he looked at him and he was conflicted, he thought that Henry had betrayed the government and in a way he did but since he helped a lot of troubled people that had difficult pasts he wondered if they were bad people anyways. He sighed and placed his fork that he was using to eat his steak and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

“I’ll be honest with you Henry, I am a bit conflicted about your story. At first I understood why you were untrustful with the government but at the same time I still don’t understand as well.” He admitted and Henry nodded “I understand and Charles…. I’m sorry.” Henry said with honesty in his voice and eyes. He sighed again and placed a hand on Henry’s shoulder. 

“I know you are Henry, just try not to betray anyone else again this time alright?” He asked and Henry nodded his head and gave him a thumbs up and he smiled. “Now let’s enjoy the ball shall we?” He asked.

Howdy everyone! Tea here and I just want to say thank you for all of your requests! I am trying to get them done slowly but surely.

But right now this one-shot book is going to be on hiatus for a while because I have lots of things going on in real life at the moment that I need to focus on and I hope that is alright.

Also at the moment I am currently on a Legend of Zelda kick so I will be focusing on that fandom a lot in a couple of months. I will get back into the Henry Stickmin soon I just need a bit of a break from it and I hope you all understand!

I will be back around January 1-13 of 2022 if I remember.
