Sticky situation

Summary:

Quackity needs to get work done. But Slimecicle wants to cuddle.

Work Text:

Quackity woke up on a warm summer morning with his beloved Slimecicle in his arms. They've been together for two months now, and Quackity can't be thankful enough that he met him. He's been happier. Still cold in a way. But when he was around Slimecicle, all he felt was happiness. He still couldn't believe he fell in love with a slime.

 

Quackity had some work to get done, though, so he had to get up. He began to snake his way out of Slimecicles grasp and get out of the bed. The sudden hit of cold made him shiver. Right as he was about the get out of the bed, he felt arms wrap around him.

 

"Where you going?" Slimecicle asked.

 

"I have to go do some work." Quackity said, "can you let go? I have to get ready."

 

Slimecicle frowned, "I don't want you to leave!" he said, strengthening his grip on Quackity.

 

Quackity tried to get Slimecicle to let go. "I know and I'm sorry. But work is important."

 

"Can't you just not work today? Or come in late? I wanna keep cuddling! It's cold without you Quackity from Las Nevadas." Slimecicle said, pulling him back into the bed and holding him.

 

Quackity huffed, "Really? You need me that badly?"

 

"Mhm!" Slimecicle said, wrapping a leg around Quackity.

 

Quackity sighed with a smile. "Fine- I'll go in late."

 

"Yay!" Slimecicle replied. "Dap me up!"
