"All the two of you do is bicker...that can't be normal in a healthy relationship," Jack says. He managed to catch Andy on her way out after
shift, probably on her way to meet Sullivan, who's now Battalion Chief of Battalion 4.
"All you and I did was bicker," she counters.
"OK...fair point. But the...what was that about 'maybe it was lust rather than love' you said, about getting married? At the reception?"
"Anger and frustration, Jack," Andy sighs. "Look...I was wrong to run to you to complain about my relationship-it's disrespectful to my
husband, and not fair to you. I know that you have feelings for me still, and my talking to you about another man must hurts. I won't
do that again, and I apologize. The best thing for both of us at this point is to go home to our partners. Inara must be spinning out, and
I owe Robert a home-cooked meal. I'm going to make this work with him, Jack. No matter what it takes...sorry but that's how it is."
"Y'know...I won't always be here if something goes wrong with you two," he warns.
"I'm forewarned", Andy says. The ring tone signaling a specific tone from Sullivan chimed. "Hey...'bye Jack. Be good."
"Yeah...'bye."

Thirty minutes later an excited Marcus charges Jack the minute the light they've mounted on the wall above the tv flashes, announcing the
arrival of the 'man of the house' nearly toppling Jack off of his feet.
"Where've you been?" he signs rapidly, a little exasperated.
"Sorry, Little Man," Jack signs contritely. "But I brought Butter Pecan Ice Cream."
Coming over,, Inara signs 'OK, Marcus...Dad is going to be late sometimes...' To Jack, she physically says "Talk later?"
"Yeah...'course", he smiled. The smile is a bit strained, though...
