Two Sides to the Same Coin

Summary:

You have been Ladybug for a year now and the akumatizations are surprisingly dying down. The lack of akumas mean that you aren't spending as much time with Chat as Ladybug, which is making him turn to your alter ego for companionship. You had never considered Chat as a romantic partner, but your troubles with Adrien lead you closer to trusting him. You have been keeping your identities a secret from each other, but will your time spent together clue you into the boy behind the mask?

***********************************************************************

I have always wanted a story that included good plots for romance with smut later on. I could never find the perfect story that balanced both, heightening the tension between the two characters that the reader would feel. So, I decided to make one. This will be a long story, but one worth waiting for.

Within, you are replacing the role of Marinette, but you will be using your own name. Alya is your best friend, Adrien has friend-zoned you and you have it out for Chloe and Lila. To give more context, this story takes place after Season 2. However, you and all the main characters are around 18 and older.

Chapter 1: A Sweet Surprise

Chapter Text

"Careful there, these look too tasty to lose!" Chat exclaimed, handing (Y/N) her box back. "Could I perhaps...have one of those?" He asked hesitantly, staring down at the box of deliciously baked cookies.

(Y/N) had watched helplessly as he caught them just in the nick of time while he was flying across Paris. Thank god for that too, those cookies were made to celebrate (Y/N) and Tikki's one year together. She was trying to keep them away from Tikki as a surprise, but ended up being her clumsy self and dropping the whole damn thing over the ledge.

"Oh?" (Y/N) said teasingly. "You mean one of these cookies you so bravely saved just now?" She looked at the box in her hands, a gorgeous gold symbol with the letters "TS" shining on top.
Chat sniffed the air expectantly, the sweet scent of the sugar cookies enveloping his nose. "If it wasn't for me, they would all be on the ground...I think one is a fair price to pay in exchange for the rest," he teased back.
(Y/N) smirked and opened the gold box, pulling one out. "Alright..." she sighed, handing it over. "I guess everyone is going to be dying to try this new recipe."

Chat munched away happily, finishing the cookie off, but didn't look like he was inclined to leave. He walked around the balcony, looking at the arrangement of seats and lights.
"Can I help you?" (Y/N) asked, slightly irritated. Typical Chat, overstaying his welcome.
Chat sat down in one of (Y/N)'s reclining lawn chairs, resting his hands behind his head and placing his foot on his other knee. "Tell me about your day, (Y/N). Saving those cookies was the highlight of mine, which is not saying much."

There haven't been many akumatizations lately. None at all, actually, in the past week. (Y/N) wasn't sure if it was because Hawkmoth was lying low, or because the Parisians were on their best behaviour, but she wasn't complaining. Her grades had risen and her teachers were happy with the lack of absences. It also meant that she had more time to spend with Adrien, or more like, time to stare at Adrien.

(Y/N) sighed and sank onto one of the stools across from him. "Well, I spent my Saturday waking up at 8 and baking these cookies, then sketching out some ideas for the dress I want to wear to the Garden Dance. And then I nearly destroyed my cookies," she laughed softly, relaxing her grip on the box.
Chat raised his eyebrows and she prayed that he wouldn't ask who the cookies were for. She would obviously lie, but she knew she wasn't that good.
"The Garden Dance?" Chat asked curiously. He didn't know that (Y/N) was going to go. He was thankful that she would be able to cancel out the chaotic energies of Lila and Chloe.
"Yeah...It's this prestigious party hosted by the Mayor. It's meant to celebrate the beauty of nature and dance. Showing that we are a part of nature, no matter how much we distance ourselves from it."
Chat smiled softly, hearing her speak.
(Y/N) blushed at Chat's silence. "I'm going because my family will be supplying the pastries, like always, so I'll be working more than dancing," she explained quickly. "Still, I want to look nice."
Chat eyed her figure, wondering what kinds of dresses would look best for the Garden Dance. "Can I see your sketches?"
(Y/N) furrowed her brows as she wasn't expecting him to actually show interest in her designs. "What? Why would you want to look at them?"
The inquisitive cat curled the corner of his lip in a look of intrigue, sitting up in the recliner. "A second opinion couldn't hurt, right? Besides, if you couldn't tell already, I'm a pretty stylish person myself."
(Y/N)'s impulse reaction was to roll her eyes and laugh. But, she decided against it. After all, was she really a designer if she couldn't handle the general public's criticism?
"Fine, but my notebook is in my room," she said, standing up and walking over to her trap door.

She jumped through and landed on her bed, making her way down the ladder and over to her table. She then heard Chat jump down onto her bed and her eyes widened. She wasn't expecting him to follow her, she was just about to head back up. She blushed a little, feeling weird at the fact that he was in her room. After all, she did have countless pictures of Adrien littered everywhere.

Instead of taking the ladder, Chat swiftly jumped down from her bed onto the floor, almost making no sound in the process. "Nice room, I like the aesthetic," he said, walking over to her. Chat rested his hand down on the desk and leaned over her shoulder. Heat radiated from his chest, slightly warming her back. She hadn't really noticed it before, but he was an inch taller and it somehow made her heart skip.

(Y/N) cleared her throat and opened her sketchbook, the hairs on her arms slightly standing up from the tingles. She ignored the goosebumps and flipped to the last few pages, showing Chat her three sketches.
"So, um...I like the simplicity of the first one because it looks elegant, but the way the flower is the centrepiece for the second one makes it look like it would be a real piece of art. And the third one..." She frowned, thinking of the last sketch. "I love the mesh but I don't know if I could pull it off."

Chat picked up the sketchbook and flipped through the pages. Damn, she really was talented, he thought. Not only that, but to make these dresses a reality? It was amazing that she could create such masterpieces with just her hands and her mind. Chat took a couple steps back, assessing her figure and flipped through the pages once more. (Y/N) fiddled with the pencil in her hands, looking away shyly as she let him think.
"So, each design has a very distinct style and they're all great in their own way," he said, smiling to himself. "But if I had to choose..."
Chat took a moment and then flipped to the last page. "You would definitely pull off dress number 3."
(Y/N) tilted her head skeptically, taking the book back from him. "Really? You think so?"
"Yeah! The second one is rather flashy, and people would be looking at it more than the girl who was wearing the dress. After all, you're the one attending the event and bringing the dress, don't let it look like the other way around. And the third one with...I dunno...a hair bun or something? Because the mesh is supposed to show off your skin right? And you'd look great showing...skin..." He said, realizing what he was implying. Chat's face suddenly reddened and he scratched the back of his head. "I mean...you know what I mean right?" He laughed awkwardly.
"Yeah...Yeah I think you're right," she smiled, paying no mind to his embarrassment. "I suppose it would be a nice change."

Chat took a couple steps back. "Great! I'm glad I was able to help you out," he said, pointing to the trap door and pulling out his metal stick. "Right...well I best be going now...Parisian's to save...am I right?" He chuckled, still feeling a bit flustered from his words. "Whatever you choose, I'm sure it would look great."
(Y/N) smiled genuinely and nodded "Thanks Chat, I appreciate it."
And like that, he was gone.

************************************************************************************************

(Y/N) wasn't quite sure why he came back a couple days after that, and neither was Chat himself. Maybe it was the freshly baked cookies that she had placed on her table, cracking the window open just enough so that the smell would escape outside. Or maybe it was Chat's curiosity of how (Y/N)'s dress was coming along. Or, maybe it was just boredom. But Chat knew one thing, he enjoyed bouncing off (Y/N)'s words. It reminded him of how him and his lady used to tease each other. He actually felt quite sad that there were no akumatizations lately, he hasn't seen Ladybug in over a week now. Perhaps (Y/N) could take his mind off of her, at least until there was another akuma.

As (Y/N) was listening to Jagged Stone and sewing some fake flowers onto a piece of fabric, she heard a faint knock on her trap door.

(Y/N) stood on her bed and opened the door, poking her head through the space. The cat was standing outside on her balcony, looking sheepish.
"Chat!" She exclaimed, looking at him in surprise. "I knew you liked cookies, but I had no idea they were your catnip!" She said, chuckling softly.
Chat looked down in playful shame. "I was in the area...and come on, everyone knows you have the best pastries in town. I was just making my rounds for patrol and it was almost like they were made for me. I couldn't resist!" He laughed.
"Well, they were. I made them for you as a thank you for helping me choose my dress," (Y/N) admitted, smiling softly at him.
"So you were expecting me?" Chat asked, raising his eyebrow. This girl baked something just for him? Ladybug, watch out...he thought, then chuckled the thought away.
(Y/N) looked up at him playfully. "Yeah, come in."

(Y/N) got off the bed to let Chat in and made her way down. Chat closed the trap door and she sat down in her seat, pulling the fabric back onto her lap. As Chat made his way over to the plate of cookies, she bit her lip.
"So...the cookies are a thank you, but also a way for me to get some more of your ideas on my dress. I have the whole thing laid out, but I just wanted a second opinion on a couple things."
"Oh, I see how it is. So this was a trap, huh?" He asked playfully and sat down across from her. "That's fine, I like this kind of trap!" He chuckled and bit into a cookie. He looked over at her sketch pad and smiled. "You'll look amazing in a dress like that, it looks like something a princess would wear. I can't wait to see what it looks like when you wear it."
(Y/N) blushed and looked down to hide her face. "Well, you probably won't. Unless you're going to the Garden Dance. In which case you shouldn't tell me, to keep your identity a secret and all that."
"Or if I come visit you again," he responded, making her heart skip a beat.

After she asked her questions and got Chat's opinions, he started to become very curious and began walking around her room. "So, lots of pictures of this guy...Adrien, is it? You got some kind of crush?"
(Y/N) suddenly choked on a cookie crumb and started coughing, reaching for her bottle of water. "What??" She croaked, taking a sip. "You're hilarious!! He's just a friend, it's for...for fashion, you know?"
Chat nodded knowingly and continued to walk around, looking around her room. As (Y/N) composed herself, she moved the fabric aside and slumped in her chair, a bit exhausted. She'd been going at her dress for hours now.
"Do you need to go? To save the Parisians and all that?" She said, yawning slightly. She was hoping that he would get the hint so that she could go to bed. It was already 9.
"Mm...not really," Chat said, continuing to look around her room. "Akumatizations usually happen during the day, not as many during the night. Could be from kids not wanting to go to sleep, or if someone had a nightmare..." He said, looking over at her. Then he tilted his head playfully and smirked. "You know, I would be able to protect you from a nightmare akuma if I stayed with you."
(Y/N) couldn't tell if he was being playful, or serious. The longer they stood there, the more she began to realize that he meant it.
(Y/N) laughed awkwardly. "Uhh, that's alright...I think I'll be okay."

Chat smiled and pulled out his metal staff. "Whatever you say then. Goodnight...Princess," he winked, leaving a blushing mess of (Y/N) down below.

Chapter 2: A Not-So-Simple Question

Chapter Text

The next morning, (Y/N) rested her elbows on the metal fence as she stood on her balcony, silently cursing herself. She still didn't understand why she got flustered from Chat's presence yesterday. This was Chat, for goodness sakes! They have been crime fighting partners for a year now and he's always made advances on her as Ladybug. It never made her feel anything because her heart belonged to Adrien. Why now?

"You okay (Y/N)?" Tikki asked, flying up from (Y/N)'s purse to look at her.
The flustered girl sighed. "Yeah, just..." she turned to look at her little kwami. "Did Chat Noir seem almost bearable to you yesterday?" She asked, leaning more of her weight on the edge of the balcony.
Tikki laughed a little. "I guess you could say that. Plagg is always very flirtatious, but sometimes he can be surprising like that too."
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows. "Really? So you could say that Chat Noir is the way that he is because of Plagg's personality?" She asked curiously.
"Kind of. But Chat Noir still has the choice to act however he wants. I guess it might be more natural to him when the suit is on," Tikki's high voice twinkled.

(Y/N) checked her phone and almost dropped it over the balcony. "Shit!!! Class starts in 3 minutes!!" She cried, grabbing her bag and hurrying down the steps of her house.

***************************************************************************************************************

(Y/N) wheezed as she ran into the classroom, the school bell letting out a chime right on time.
"Woah! Easy there girl!" Alya laughed and patted (Y/N)'s back. "I knew your one week streak wouldn't last. It was too good to be true."
(Y/N) hid a smile and gently punched her best friend on the shoulder. They made their way to their seats as they passed Adrien and Nino's desk.
"How was your weekend Adrien? Were you up to anything super fun?" Alya asked, resting her chin into her hand.

Being the best wingwoman that she was, Alya would always be including Adrien in their conversations. (Y/N)'s cheeks reddened as Adrien turned his attention to the two girls.
Of course, he couldn't say that he visited (Y/N) twice over the weekend, so he had to make up the most boring weekend ever. Those days were a regular for him before he had friends, so he was sadly used to it.
"Uh...nothing really," he laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "I practiced piano on Saturday and had a whole day of photo-shooting on Sunday," he replied.
"Wow, what a bummer...Next time we'll be sure to invite you to the movies or something," Alya responded.
"What were you guys up to?" Adrien asked, turning his attention to the girl that was as red as a tomato.
(Y/N) felt her throat constrict as he looked into her eyes. She was definitely not telling the love of her life that a superhero came to visit her to help out with her dress. Plus, Alya would never forgive her for missing an interview opportunity. "Well, (Y/N) here declined going to see the new Granger movie with me and Nino because she had better things to do," Alya teased.
(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she waved her hands. "No! I'm sorry I just really needed to get a start on that dress!" (Y/N) pouted. "You know how much I wanted to come Alya..."
Her best friend chuckled and patted (Y/N)'s back. "I know girl. I'm just teasing you."
"A dress?" Adrien asked, raising his eyebrows. He obviously knew what she was talking about, but he needed to act like it was the first time he was hearing about it. Even though he literally helped her choose the best one, he had to act naive. He was curious though, why wasn't she mentioning that the super charismatic Chat Noir came to see her? He usually had fangirls wrapped around his finger, but she wasn't saying a thing.
"Yeah! For the Garden Dance..." She smiled and fiddled with her fingers, building up her courage. "I've been meaning to ask you, would y-"
(Y/N) was suddenly cut off as Mrs. Bustier clapped her hands "Okay everybody! Settle down. Let's begin with some attendance..."

***************************************************************************************************************

The Garden Dance was going to be this upcoming Saturday and (Y/N) was dead set on asking Adrien to go with her, no matter what it took. Alya was in on the plan as well, already having a Plan A, B, C, all throughout to Z. Both girls agreed that it had to come up naturally. Plan A didn't work this morning, as the class started right as she was in the middle of asking him. It was now lunch time and on to Plan B, where they would all sit together and try to bring it up casually. (Nino was in on the plan too, but (Y/N) didn't need to know that).

(Y/N) walked through the lunch line with Alya.
"Alya..."  (Y/N) whined softly. "Did you tell Nino? He's acting like he knows."
"No girl! You're just paranoid because he's his best friend. I swear I didn't," she comforted, sending Nino a death glare. Nino noticed and gulped, hoping that he wouldn't screw this plan up.

The two boys sat down at their usual table, placing their food trays down. Adrien started telling Nino of this time he got near a pigeon during a photo shoot and ruined so many shots.

(Y/N) and Alya started walking in the direction of the two boys, preparing to execute Plan B.
"What do I say??" (Y/N) whispered nervously as they neared.
"Just be yourself, girl! You know I'm an expert at these things and I'm helping you out," Alya whispered back.
The two girls held onto their trays as they walked up to the table. Alya sat down next to Nino, leaving a bare seat beside Adrien. (Y/N) felt like her insides were bubbling as she tried to sit down, but fate had another idea in mind. She hit her leg on the seat and bit her lip in pain, trying not to cry out. Her food tray wobbled out of her hands and her eyes widened, the food leaning dangerously close to the love of her life. She leaned down to catch her balance but realized that it was over, there was nothing she could do.

With cat-like reflexes, Adrien stood up and stuck out his hands at the perfect angle to catch her tray and balance it back upright. The relief that (Y/N) felt at that moment was too big to even to describe, and then she started to come to the realization that his hand was holding hers under the tray, keeping it steady. Her cheeks turned pink as she slowly looked up, seeing the most handsome boy looking down at her. Nino sat there, frozen at the image as his girlfriend sipped her juice, watching the two lovebirds.

"O-oh my gosh I-I'm so sorry Adrien I-"
Adrien smiled down at her and placed the tray onto the table, taking her arms and helping her sit down. "Wow...that could have been a cat-tastrophy," he said passingly and blushed a little, realizing that no one would really understand his pun. "It's good that we're friends, I've been able to save your things more than once," he laughed, scratching the back of his head. He was tiptoeing against the line of revealing his identity way too much, but he was thankful that the others were clueless.
"Yeah, it almost seems like she needs you in her life," Alya butted in, stabbing a piece of broccoli on her plate. "Speaking of, maybe it would be best if you and (Y/N) went to that Garden Dance together. Then you could ensure that (Y/N) wouldn't drop anything...like some tasty macaroons?" Alya said slyly, putting the piece of broccoli in her mouth.
(Y/N)'s face reddened as she realized what Alya was doing. No way was she going to get Adrien to go with her out of pity. And this was her chance to get out of the friend-zone, not have him take her as a favour. "N-no! Haha...Alya," she said, shooting Alya a death glare, "I don't need Adrien. I'm not that incapable that I need someone to help me. I can go to the Garden Dance perfectly by myself," she said confidently, suddenly realizing that she might have gone too far. She might have just ruined the idea of them going together at all...dammit.
"Whatever you say (Y/N), just let me know if you do need help and I'll be there for you. I'd always help a very good friend," he smiled and began to eat his food.
Alya shot a look at (Y/N) saying "Are you serious right now? Tell him YES." While (Y/N) shot another look saying "How could you make me look like a charity case! I can't ask him now!" Meanwhile, Nino sat there confused and uncomfortable before putting on his headphones and focusing on his food below. They all ate and occasionally made jokes, but (Y/N) kicked herself all the way throughout lunch at how stupid she was. Her stupid clumsiness, her stupid rambling, ugh! She just couldn't take it anymore.

As the day went on, (Y/N) and Alya went down the list of plans, the next one a bigger fail than the last. When she tried talking with him in the hallway, Lila faked an ankle injury and grabbed onto Adrien's arm, inserting herself into the conversation. When (Y/N) was explaining her transportation to the dance, Chloe would overhear and start bragging how her "daddy bought the most expensive limo," making fun of (Y/N) in the process.

(Y/N) sat at her desk with Alya, twiddling with her pencil as her head rested in her hand. She was counting down the seconds until the end of class which was the last of the day. As the bell chimed, (Y/N) grabbed her notes and stuffed them into her bag, hurrying out of the classroom. Alya sent a silent a silent prayer to (Y/N) as she knew that they were now on Plan P.

(Y/N) stood at the top of the steps, holding her school bag and breathing slowly to calm down. Her heart was fluttering nonstop today, she just wanted to get over it already, this was her last chance today. Her foot tapped anxiously as she bit her lip. The Gorilla would be here any minute now to drive Adrien home, so she needed to ask Adrien before that happened.

As he walked out, (Y/N) almost fell over in nervousness. "Adrien!" She waved over at him. Adrien noticed (Y/N) and smiled, walking over. "Hey (Y/N), you okay? I'm sorry I don't have much time-" he smiled nervously, his voice getting cut off by the annoying blare of the car horn as his bodyguard pulled up.

"That's okay, I'm just-"
HONK
"wondering if-"
HONK
"you would like to-"
HONK
"go to the dance with me?!" She screamed, at precisely the same moment that the Gorilla let out the longest, most annoying blare of that horn she could ever imagine.

"Ugh, (Y/N), I'm sorry I couldn't hear you." Adrien apologized, walking away from her and down the steps. "I'm sorry! Tell me tomorrow, okay?" He called out and ran to the car, giving her a wave and climbing inside.

(Y/N) withered down onto the ledge behind her, letting out a frustrated sigh. Are you fucking kidding me? Her luck today was worse than she could ever imagine. And she was the superhero called Lady Luck? What a joke...

Tikki saw (Y/N) and frowned, wishing that (Y/N) would be repaid for all her hard work. Alya ran out and joined her best friend, hoping that she would finally have some good news, but saw the defeated looking girl in front of her.

"Aw...I'm sorry girl, at least there's tomorrow?"
"Yeah, at least," the poor girl sighed.

***************************************************************************************************************

"Argh!!! What the hell Tikki? I can't believe this whole day was a bust! And it wasn't even mostly me!" She cried, as she came up into her room.

The worked up (Y/N) had been agonizing over the whole day for an hour now and Tikki could only feel bad for her.

"Don't give up (Y/N)! There's a whole day tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that! At the pace you're going now, you're bound to succeed one of these days. Maybe you can try catching Adrien before he goes into school? Alya and Nino seem to be on your side, maybe they can guard the doors or something?" Her high voice squeaked as she flew over her owner. "You'll do just great!"

(Y/N) sighed and headed up to her bed, falling down face first into her pillows. "I guess," she mumbled into the fabric.

Suddenly, (Y/N) heard a knock above her and her eyes widened. "Quick! Hide Tikki!" She whispered and stood up on her bed. (Y/N) slowly opened her glass trap door and was surprised to see a confident Chat Noir standing there, for the third day in a row.

"Hi there, Princess. May I come in?"
(Y/N) stood there and blinked in surprise. "Chat? But what are you doing here?"

Chat retracted his metal stick and placed it behind his back, tilting his head. "You sounded in trouble. Are you okay?"

Sure, he was concerned for (Y/N) that something was indeed wrong, but he actually came to her house because he was curious as to what she was wanting to tell Adrien. He was too curious to even wait until the next day, so he came to find out. Thankfully, he was only able to discern (Y/N)'s voice, as Tikki made sure to stay quiet.

"Oh! I, um..." she stuttered, wondering how much he had actually heard. She was about to lie, but honestly, the company could be nice. She sighed and looked away. "Okay, you can come in Chat."

(Y/N) stepped aside and sat down on her bed. The agile cat slipped in and sat down beside her after closing the trap door.

"I'm sorry, I don't have any pastries at the minute," she said, wondering if he would be disappointed.
"That's okay, I came here for you," he said gently.
"Y-you did?" She blushed as his bright green eyes peered at her.
"It sounded like you were upset. I wanted to help," he said, grabbing a pen and notebook that was beside the bed. "Now, Miss (Y/N). When did your problem first begin?" He asked in a fake therapist voice, crossing his legs.

(Y/N) snorted and then laughed, pushing his arm to make him stop. "Can we talk about something else for now? This feels a bit too formal."
Chat smiled and tossed the pen and notebook aside. "Is this better?" He asked, sitting cross-legged. "Or this?" He laid down in front of her, his face upside down. "Just want to make sure you're comfortable, purrincess," he purred and gave a slight smirk. He liked playing with her while he was Chat Noir. His Lady never liked it and (Y/N) doesn't seem as comfortable with him when he's Adrien.

(Y/N) sighed and laid down opposite of him, their heads the only parts that were close to each other. They both looked up at the ceiling and (Y/N) bit her lip, a bit shy to be telling Chat Noir, her partner, about her boy troubles. Maybe she could fudge it? Tell him but not tell him who? Chat Noir will never know, right?

"There's this guy...I really like," she blushed. Chat looked over at her in surprise and (Y/N) continued to stare up at the ceiling, avoiding Chat's gaze. "He's uh..." she carried on, looking over at her ladybug doll laying on her desk below. "He's got red hair, and he's really sweet. He's honestly the most amazing person I have ever met." As (Y/N) stared up at the ceiling, it was almost as if a picture of Adrien was projected onto there. His blonde, shining hair, his beautiful green eyes...(Y/N) closed her own eyes and smiled, getting lost in her train of thought. Meanwhile, Chat raised his eyebrows curiously, watching (Y/N) as she fell into her own daydream. "And I want to ask him to the dance...but I have been struggling a lot. Like SO MUCH. Today was a fail of a day and there's still tomorrow, but I feel beaten up over it."

Chat peered at (Y/N) thoughtfully. He hadn't known that she liked someone, how could he have not noticed? He was her friend after all, how could he be so blind? He pursed his lips to the side, thinking. Who could it be? He would have to look out for a red-haired boy the next day. Without her knowing, he could even help her out as Adrien!

(Y/N) looked over at the quiet cat as he lay there thinking, her face turning red as she started to grow really embarrassed from the silence. Why in the world would she tell him? He didn't know that she was Ladybug, so she was basically a stranger  to him. "N-never mind, forget it, it's not a big deal-"
"No no! I wanna help!" He said back, realizing how quiet he'd become. "That's really cute, I wanna help you with your crush."

(Y/N) looked away shyly as her fingers fiddled with the bedsheets. "It's not a crush. Crush makes it sound so childish. I love him Chat, he's the sweetest person I've ever met."
Chat's eyes widened as a small blush formed on his cheeks. She was declaring her love for this guy just like he would for Ladybug. If only his Lady would say it back...
Chat's ears drooped slightly, thinking about his love for Ladybug. Maybe he should just move on? She's told him countless times that she didn't return the feelings, that there was someone else. Maybe he should be going for someone who's able to tell him how much he means to them, someone like...
Chat looked at (Y/N), the light from downstairs illuminating her face. He smiled and sat up, resting backwards on his arms. He smirked and moved a hand over to his chin in contemplation.
"Alright, the smooth Chat Noir will help you out! So, here's what you gotta do..." he began, (Y/N) eagerly sitting up to face him.

Chapter 3: Dancing In the Dark

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The next morning, (Y/N) was up early in the school's art room with Alix, Nathaniel and Marc. She was getting some more input on her dress, wanting more of an artist's perspective (no offence to Chat). She was making sure to keep a watchful eye on the clock, as school was starting in 35 minutes and Adrien was usually dropped off 10 minutes before the bell.

The night before, Chat had given (Y/N) a bunch of tips on how she could ask her love out to the dance. She was surprised to hear his strategies, although it was clear that he derived inspiration from the tactics he used on Ladybug. He advised her to make jokes, puns, anything to make her crush laugh, as well as using some soft physical touches. She had practiced on Chat, letting him guide her hand so she would learn how to "express interest through physical touches," as Chat Noir explained it.

"So, suppose we're sitting like this, right?" Chat said the night before, sitting beside her.
(Y/N) nodded and straightened her back, trying to hide a smile at how silly this was.
"Are you laughing?" Chat asked, bringing his face closer to hers. "This is serious business, (Y/N). This is no time to be foolish," he teased, making her laugh and push his chest away.
Chat smiled and moved away, clearing his throat. "Right, okay. So you guys are sitting like this and you suddenly remember something you wanted to tell him. You put your hand on his arm like this," he said, taking her hand and placing it onto his bicep. (Y/N)'s cheeks flushed as she felt his arm. Did he always have those muscles? That black suit camouflaged it well...
Shaking her out of her thoughts, he continued. "And then you've gotta say something, like 'Oh! I forgot to tell you! I'm designing my own dress for the dance this Saturday!" He said in a high voice, trying to mimic hers.
(Y/N) laughed softly. "I do not sound like that..."
Ignoring her, he went on. "And then, you keep your hand on his arm and slide it down like this," Chat said, sliding her hand down to his forearm. "And say something else, like 'I can't wait to go!" He chuckled and let her go.
(Y/N) slowly moved her hand away. "You really think that will work?" She asked shyly. She felt nervous even thinking of touching Adrien like that, but she had to try.

That night, she had a really saucy dream of Chat. After spending time with him like that, she couldn't help it. (Y/N) woke up at 3 am to herself throbbing down there. She couldn't get back to sleep and she refused to fulfill that little fantasy that popped into her head. So, she decided to work on her dress until 7 am, and then met the usual art students in the art room. She didn't really need help with her dress, she really just wanted her mind off of Chat Noir.

"Maybe you could add some mesh gloves? With small flowers on them?" Marc considered, looking at (Y/N)'s drawings.
(Y/N) tilted her head and thought about it. She really didn't think her design needed gloves, but she couldn't turn down all their ideas. "Yeah! Maybe...I'll see if I can work it in."
"No matter what (Y/N), you definitely have an eye for style," Nathaniel spoke up, walking over. "In some ways, you're lucky that you're a girl. I feel like there's more things to do with girl's clothing."
(Y/N) looked at Nathaniel in surprise. "You're going to the dance on Saturday?" (Y/N) asked curiously. She wasn't completely sure, as she only knew of the famous and rich who were invited.
"Yeah, I am! I painted the mural right where the event is being held. It'll be a great way to get discovered," he smiled, moving a bit of red hair out of his eyes.
"Oh wow, congratulations! I'm really excited to see it," (Y/N) smiled and closed her book. "Well, maybe I could give you some ideas on how to spruce up your suit? We can't have our star artist looking like everyone else," she chuckled, making him raise his eyebrows.
"You would help? Seriously?"
(Y/N) smiled. "Yeah, sure. I've made great progress on my dress so I can work on a little something for you," she offered. Honestly, if it wasn't for her waking up at 3 am today, she wouldn't have mentioned it.

(Y/N) looked at the clock and noticed that there was now 12 minutes before the starting bell. She stood up from her stool and started tucking her notebook into her bag. "Right...well I better be-" she began, just as Alix's fingers fumbled with the paint can on the top shelf.
"Oh no no no no-" Alix began to cry out.

It was almost as if the students were watching the heavy paint can fall in slow motion. The tin can slowly crashed onto the floor and globs of blue paint exploded on Marc, Nathaniel and (Y/N).

"-no..." Alix whispered, leaving her the only one dry. "Oh no guys, I'm so sorry...who puts an open paint can on the top shelf??" She cried, her moods changing quickly.
The art teacher walked in and gasped in horror. "I leave for one minute. ONE MINUTE ALIX."
Alix crossed her arms. "The fault's in one of your freshman's, Mister Monlataing. They obviously don't know where to store open cans of paint. I'm surprised it wasn't as dry as bone," she huffed.

(Y/N) looked down at her clothes to assess the damage, but seeing how the other two boys looked didn't give her much hope. She closed her eyes and giggled. Was it a pitiful laugh, or was the scene actually funny, she had no idea. All she knew was that she should not have gotten her hopes up for today, given her luck.

Seeing (Y/N)'s reaction brightened up the room and Marc snorted, making Nathaniel let out a laugh.
"God damn it Alix," Nathaniel chuckled quietly and walked over to the sink, picking up paper towels.
"Well, we better hurry and get cleaned up before class starts," (Y/N) sighed and walked over to Nathaniel. The three started to help each other wipe up the wet paint from their clothes. They only had time to dab away the paint, but their clothes were stained for the day.
"I might as well give you some ideas for your suit then," (Y/N) offered, starting to discuss the options Nathaniel could go for.

The two walked into their first class of the day, all of the students already sitting and waiting in their seats for Mrs. Bustier. Adrien raised his eyebrows in surprise as he watched a messy (Y/N) and Nathaniel walk in, their clothes and faces stained with blue paint.
"-and if you are trying to go for the one-of-a-kind look, you could try sewing an embroidered flower onto your suit. It'll be perfect for the theme," (Y/N) spoke with Nathaniel as they entered the class.
"Wow, I hadn't realized how many options there really were! Thanks (Y/N), but I'll leave the paintbrush in your hands," Nathaniel smiled at her, resting his hand on her shoulder. "I trust you."
(Y/N) nodded happily and they parted their ways to head to their seats. (Y/N) sat down to a surprised looking Alya.
"What was it today, (Y/N)?" Her best friend asked, ready for the story.

Meanwhile, Adrien sat in his front seat listening in on the conversation. For a moment yesterday, he had actually considered that (Y/N) was speaking about him. That he was the guy she was hoping to go to the dance with. He didn't know how he felt about that, he had always considered her a really good friend. If it was him, he was sure that she would have taken Chat Noir's advice and met him outside after he was dropped off. However, she was inside...with Nathaniel. Which means that she was telling the truth and Nathaniel was the red-haired guy that she liked! After all, they were just talking about his suit so she must have asked him already! He was so glad that he was able to help his friend.

Mrs. Bustier walked into the classroom and gasped at her blue students. "Goodness!! What happened to you two?"
(Y/N) and Nathaniel both looked at each other and smiled. "Alix," they both said in unison and laughed, making the teacher sigh from understanding.

Later that day, the students were sitting in science class and Ms. Mendeleiev had just placed everyone in pairs. Adrien grabbed his book bag and headed over to Nathaniel, his new lab partner.
"It looks like I missed a crazy morning today," Adrien chuckled, pointing at Nathaniel's clothes.
Nathaniel smirked and rolled his eyes. "Ah yes, the sacrifices you make to be an artist," he joked, sliding his chair aside to make room for his partner.
"But, you had a good morning today, right?" Adrien prodded, leaning forward. He wanted to hear about how (Y/N) asked him to the dance.
"Uh...I guess," Nathaniel shrugged, turning to the paper assignment.
Adrien sighed frustratingly. "I can't wait to go to the dance on Saturday," he tried, deciding to be direct. "You must be even more excited because you're going with someone."
"I am?" Nathaniel asked, confused.
"You aren't?" Adrien furrowed his brows, wondering what was going on. Jeez, why was this so hard? "You mean you're not going with (Y/N)?"
Nathaniel looked to the side awkwardly. "Uh, no...what makes you think that?"

Nathaniel used to have a crush on (Y/N), that is, until she rejected him when he was Evillustrator. After that, he found inspiration in Ladybug, and he also felt really embarrassed at what he did while he was akumatized. He realized that they were really good friends and it seemed like they were both happier that way. It seemed like she was head over heels for Adrien anyways.

"I think you should ask her. I can tell that she wants to go with you," Adrien smirked, making Nathaniel look at (Y/N) across the room. Nathaniel looked away and blushed, considering Adrien's words. Did (Y/N) really start developing feelings for him?
"Okay...I'll think about it," he said quietly, hiding a smile.
Adrien grinned confidently, looking over at the paper. "Right then, what's this assignment asking us to do?"

***************************************************************************************************************

"I don't care that you're a smurf. You have to do it today," Alya said, pushing (Y/N) through the lunch line. "Preferably, right now. No matter what."
(Y/N) bit her lip as she contemplated it. She didn't want to ask Adrien like this, but that would mean two days of failure, and she couldn't have that. (Y/N) flared her nostrils and handed her lunch tray to Alya. Preparing herself, she faced Adrien and took a few deep breaths in.
"Okay. I'm going to do it," she said, and she meant it.

Meanwhile, Adrien was sitting with Nino at their usual lunch table while discussing the most recent movies that came to the theatre. Lila sauntered over to them and sat down beside the model. She smirked a little as she saw (Y/N) from the corner of her eye.
"Adrien! Oh I'm so glad I found you..." she called out and extended her leg out carefully. "Ugh...my ankle injury is not getting any better since yesterday," she whimpered, resting her hand on his bicep. "I'm scared that I wont be all healed up for the dance on Saturday, can you believe it?" She said in a sad voice, leaning in. "Would it be too much to ask for us to go to the dance together? It would really help to have someone to hold onto so I don't get hurt even more..." she asked him in an annoyingly sweet voice, her hand sliding down his bicep to rest on his forearm.

Adrien looked down at her hand in surprise and then back up at her. He could tell that Lila liked him, and he knew she was faking her injury, but everyone had noticed the two speaking and started gazing at them. To everyone else, there was nothing wrong with Lila and she was good friends with Adrien. There was no real reason why he would reject her, not in their eyes anyways.
Adrien looked away awkwardly and laughed a little, scratching the back of his head. "Uh...yeah, okay. I can help you."

(Y/N) stopped in her tracks as her worst nightmare was unfolding in front of her eyes. It's like she literally felt her heart breaking into pieces. He said yes to Lila?? LILA of all people???
(Y/N)'s face started to crumble and she quickly turned around, not wanting her classmates to see. Alya had witnessed the horror as well and put down the two food trays, walking over to her friend and helping her out of the cafeteria. Alya sent a sad look over to Nino and he closed his eyes, realizing that the mission had failed.
As the two girls were out of earshot of the cafeteria, tears started rolling down (Y/N)'s face at an alarming rate. She was struggling to breathe through the sadness and her friend could only hold her body to comfort her.
"Let it out girl....let it out..."

***************************************************************************************************************

After an agonizing rest of the day of putting on a fake smile, (Y/N) made her way up into her bedroom and sat on the floor. The tears came but she made no sound, only trying to focus on her breathing. She couldn't think straight. All she could think about was how much time she had spent on plans to ask Adrien to the dance. How much effort she had put in, and how much of that was destroyed as he said yes to Lila. She had dreamed of Saturday night. His reaction when he saw her in her dress, the connection they would feel when they would dance together. It was all gone now. Tikki flew up and tried to hug her owner's cheek.
"Oh (Y/N)," she squeaked sadly.

After a while, when (Y/N)'s tears had dried up, she dusted off her clothes and headed up to her balcony.
"If you don't mind, Tikki, I'd like to be alone for a bit," she croaked. It was already dark outside and the stars had come out. She was hoping that she would feel better while gazing at the stars. Watching at how those balls of light dotted the darkness. She needed to get some light back in her.

Tikki was nervous. (Y/N) had already spent a lot of time expressing negative emotions, it was a wonder why Hawkmoth hadn't decided to take advantage of that. But, her kwami knew that she had to respect (Y/N)'s boundaries. As if reading Tikki's mind, (Y/N) smiled sadly and took off her earrings.
"Here, take care of these for me, Tikki. Just in case."

(Y/N) headed up to her balcony and laid down on her reclining lawn chair. She sighed, staring up into the darkness and watching the twinkling of the stars. What was she doing, going after Adrien? He was way out of her league and would probably end up with someone rich and famous. If not Lila, then maybe Kagami. This was probably for the best, maybe it'll help her get over him now. Despite her thoughts, her eyes started to well up with even more tears.

Suddenly, she heard a small thump ahead of her and she sat up in a fright.
"(Y/N)!" The superhero exclaimed, happy to see her. His night vision helped him focus on her face and he furrowed his brows, seeing her eyes glisten.
"(Y/N)...what's wrong?" He asked and hurried to her, kneeling down beside the upset girl.
"I....I.." she choked out, not knowing what to say. Suddenly, her tears started falling again as her mouth curled down into a frown. She began to sob and wrapped her arms around Chat, needing his warmth. He quickly pulled her into a hug and began to rub her back, wondering what could have made her this way.

As they held each other, (Y/N) managed to speak through a few sobs and Chat understood what she was trying to say. Nathaniel was going with someone else. He held her tight as his brows furrowed, his hatred for Nathaniel growing. How could he do something like this to her?? Sweet (Y/N), she didn't deserve this. Today, it looked like Nathaniel was interested in her and then he went on and asked someone else?
"Oh (Y/N), he doesn't deserve you. You're wonderful, creative, sweet and beautiful. Don't give your heart to someone who treats it like this..." he whispered, holding her close and shutting his eyes.

(Y/N)'s sobs started to subside as Chat's comforting scent enveloped her. It was a mixture of cinnamon and spice, she deducted. The girl began to shiver, uncertain if it was from the cold or from her overwhelming emotions bouncing throughout her body. Noticing this, Chat moved one of his arms so that it hooked under her knees, picking her up.
"Let's head inside, yeah? It's a bit chilly out here," he spoke to her gently.
(Y/N) nodded silently and rested her head onto his shoulder, burrowing her nose into his neck. He chuckled quietly, feeling her cold nose tickle his skin.

Chat opened the trap door with his foot and carefully jumped down onto her bed. He slowly placed her down onto her comfy mattress and pulled the covers over her shivering body. He then laid down on top of the blanket beside her, moving a piece of hair out of her eyes.
"(Y/N), you're wonderful. I know you're hurt from this guy but he's nothing if he makes you feel like this," he said softly, wiping her tear-streaked cheek with his thumb.
(Y/N) nodded quietly and frowned, closing her eyes as another tear rolled down. He was right, but the pain was too fresh, it would only take time to heal.

Chat looked at this beautiful girl that he's known for years. She was the happiest, most positive person he's ever met. To see her like this tore his heart in two. Without thinking, Chat moved closer to her and kissed her cheek, kissing her fresh tear away. (Y/N) opened her glistening eyes and looked at Chat in surprise, not knowing what to say. He smiled softly at her and pulled her head down into his chest.
"I'll be here for you, (Y/N). For as long as you need."

Chapter Text

The rays of sun shone through the cracks of the blinds the next morning, illuminating the room. Adrien woke up to a numbness in his left arm and tried to move it to regain consciousness. Yet, in his half-asleep state, he failed to notice that the weight on his arm was not an object, but a person. Specifically, his friend (Y/N). Adrien opened his eyes in confusion only to see that he had fallen asleep in his Chat Noir suit.

Did he really stay the night? Chat quietly told himself off. Nathalie would knock on his door every morning at 7 to make sure he was awake for breakfast, so he didn't have much time in the morning to do whatever he wanted. Falling asleep was definitely not what he planned to do, but the more he laid in (Y/N)'s bed pondering it, the more he started to realize how good this felt.

His senses were heightened when he was Chat Noir, so he was not used to waking up with them on full blast. Chat's left ear twitched as he heard (Y/N)'s soft breath escape her slightly agape mouth and his nose quickly caught on to the scent of fresh croissants baking downstairs. Maybe this wasn't so bad, he thought, feeling her soft breasts press against his chest and-

Chat's eyes widened as he caught his thoughts. Why was he thinking of that?? He quickly pulled out his metal rod and checked the time: 6:52. He needed to hurry back before Nathalie thought he was missing. Chat slowly started to pull his dead arm out from under (Y/N), trying not to wake her up. He was hoping he could sneak out quietly so that she could continue to sleep. After all that crying she did yesterday, she needed the rest.

As soon as he freed his arm, (Y/N) stirred and sleepily started to open her eyes. "Mmm...Chat..?" She murmured, wondering if this was a dream.
"Shh...It's okay (Y/N), I just have to go now," he whispered, smiling at how he's never seen her this relaxed before.
"You...stayed?" She asked slowly, struggling to speak as she was so groggy from her slumber.
"I-…of course I did," he decided to say, realizing that he was glad he did. "I hope I made you feel better," he whispered. He climbed out of the bed and pulled the blanket up to (Y/N)'s shoulders.
"Mmm...you did," she murmured and closed her eyes, resting her head back down on the pillow.
Chat turned to leave and suddenly felt a tug on his tail. He turned to look at her and she smiled at him "Thanks Chat," she said quietly and he smiled, nodding at her.

Chat hurried out and (Y/N) closed her eyes, except now she was feeling wide awake. Did that really happen? She blushed and unconsciously hugged a pillow close to her chest. It had a faint scent of Chat, a sort of spice? (Y/N)'s cheeks deepened their red as she realized what she was doing.

"I can't believe he spent the night," Tikki squeaked, flying up from her hiding spot down below. The little kwami was holding onto the pair of earrings (Y/N) had taken off last night and given to the kwami for safekeeping. "Can I give these to you now?" Tikki asked, flying closer to her owner.
(Y/N) took the earrings and started to put them on her ears. "Thanks Tikki," she said. She was still processing what she had just witnessed, so she tried to avoid the Chat Noir subject for now.
"So is that it then?" Tikki asked, flying to sit on the pillow (Y/N) was holding. "Are you over Adrien?"
(Y/N) sighed as the events of yesterday came rushing back. "It's never that easy Tikki, but I'm trying."

***************************************************************************************************************

It was now Wednesday, and (Y/N) was sitting in her usual seat at school. There was still around 20 minutes before class started. She had wanted to get some more sleep this morning but she couldn't seem to relax. The comfort of Chat and the pain of Adrien was all too much for her brain. She decided to work on her dress while also texting Alya, who just so happened to let it slip that she got a present for her. (Y/N)'s curiosity was killing her so she recommended that they meet before class so that she could find out what it was.

Alya walked in and smiled mysteriously as she saw (Y/N). She slowly walked up to her seat. "So, how was your morning?" Alya asked, purposefully delaying the inevitable.
"Cut to the chase already, c'mon I wanna know what you got me!" (Y/N) laughed and Alya chuckled.
"Are you sure? I think it's best that I give it to you after school, now that I think about it."
(Y/N)'s jaw dropped and she laughed. "Don't do this to me, Alya," she said and reached for her best friend's bag.
Alya pulled her bag away and jokingly smacked (Y/N)'s hand. "Alright alright, but you have to promise not to freak out," she said, reaching inside her backpack and pulling out a small paper bag.
(Y/N) eyed the bag curiously. "Why would I freak out?" She asked carefully.
Alya placed the bag on the table and kept her hand on it. "It's just for fun...I went to this store with Nino yesterday..." she paused, thinking of her words "and I just thought this might help you get your mind off of things and make you happier in another way," she chuckled shyly.
(Y/N) furrowed her brows in confusion and took the bag, pulling out the gift from within. As soon as she saw what the object was, her eyes widened as she stuffed it back into the bag.
"What the fuck? You got me a vibrator?!?" She screamed in a whisper, her mouth opening as she could barely hold in her laugh. "Wait, you went to that kind of a store with Nino yesterday? What else did you get??"
Alya laughed and looked away. "I also got one...and some other stuff that's not important. But all you need to know is that this bad boy...it's good," she nodded knowingly like she was a drug dealer recommending a new type of crack.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes. "Alright, we'll see."

Suddenly, the door opened and Adrien and Nino walked in.
"-and you know that I've got your back dude. Always have, always will," Nino finished, earning a fist bump from Adrien.
The blonde boy smiled as he saw (Y/N) and Alya sitting at their table. "Oh, hey guys!" He greeted them, walking up to his seat.

(Y/N) scrambled while Alya tried to play it cool. "Hey Adrien, how's your morning?" Alya asked casually. Meanwhile, (Y/N)'s attempt to grab the paper bag caused it to slip off the table and onto the floor. She died inside as Adrien saw this and reached down to pick it up. She only prayed that the vibrator hadn't fallen out of the bag that was concealing it.
"No! I got it don't worry about it!" (Y/N) squeaked and Alya covered her eyes, unable to witness the scene before her.
"It's fine, I don't mind," Adrien smiled and picked it up, handing the bag over to (Y/N). His fingers felt the general outline of what was inside but he was clueless as to what it might be. Why did she seem so on edge this morning?
"Thanks," (Y/N) said quickly and snatched it from his hand, stuffing it into her bag.
"Sure," he nodded and sat down. She was acting a lot differently to how she acted with him this morning. He knew that Adrien and Chat Noir were different people in her eyes, but he couldn't help but wonder why the difference in attitude was so great. Maybe he would ask her subtly next time he visited her as Chat Noir.

The rest of the students started to pile into the room and (Y/N)'s heart began to slow down. Although the situation was a close call, a part of her wanted to act cold towards Adrien. He had always acted so nice to her, more than anyone else she knew for that matter. She fell for him, hard, but she also felt like he was leading her on. Now that he was going to the Garden Dance with Lila, she started to wonder if that was always going to happen in his mind. Maybe he was just a person that flirted with others for fun. (Y/N) couldn't get these thoughts out of her head, though it actually helped her in some way. She wanted to get over Adrien, so maybe it was best to paint such a bad image of him in her mind. The rest of the school day went on with her barely speaking to Adrien and moving far away from him so that she wouldn't get flustered by his "niceness."

Meanwhile, Adrien noticed (Y/N)'s strange behaviour and searched through his mind to try and explain it. He was warming up to (Y/N) in a way that he didn't fully understand and it seemed like she was only comfortable with him when he was Chat Noir. Did she dislike him as Adrien? Had something happened? He was so confused but dead set on figuring out what was wrong.

***************************************************************************************************************

Just like clockwork, (Y/N) heard a tap on her trap door later that evening and called out for Chat to come in. He had a mission today, to find out where (Y/N) stood with Adrien.

"Hey," she smiled, looking up from her sewing machine. She was just finishing some of the last touches on her dress. She was actually proud of her progress, given that she would always be finishing her projects at the last second.

Chat's ears perked up as he heard the warmth in (Y/N)'s tone. She was so cold and distant with him today; he was scared that she would be the same with him as his alter ego. Though, maybe this was even worse. If she acted irritated with both of his sides then he would know that the problem was not him unless she knew his identity. But now he was pretty certain that the problem was her friendship with Adrien.
"Hey, are you feeling okay?" He asked walking up to her.
Thinking that he was referencing to how she felt yesterday, she shrugged. "I guess a bit better. I'm still pretty heartbroken though," she sighed and pulled the cloth out from her sewing machine, checking the stitches.
Chat almost kicked himself for not thinking of this sooner. Of course, she was going through a heartbreak. The only people that knew about this was himself and probably Alya. She wasn't acting cold with Adrien because she was mad at him, but because she didn't think that he knew what she was going through. He relaxed at this thought, feeling somewhat content, though oblivious to the manic screaming of an audience somewhere criticizing his naivety.

"Hey, come on," he said, taking her hand. He wanted to get her mind off of this heartbreak and onto more beautiful things. "Let's go watch the sunset and you can tell me all about your day." He was hoping that he could make her feel better by taking her to his special spot.
(Y/N) blushed softly and placed her dress down. That was kind of romantic, did he mean it to come across that way? She pushed the thought aside and stood up. "Okay, but give me a second," she smiled and grabbed a bag, heading downstairs to her kitchen. Chat stood there, wondering what she went downstairs for but decided to not question it. When she returned a minute later, she grabbed a sweater and put it on. "Okay, let's go."

They both climbed up onto her balcony and Chat picked (Y/N) up bridal style, preparing to carry her. "Where are we going?" She asked curiously, making him smirk.
"To the best place I know," he replied, jumping from the balcony with her in his arms.

***************************************************************************************************************

As they both reached Chat's secret spot, (Y/N) realized that it was the same rooftop that she would sit on with him when she was Ladybug. The sun was already setting so only a portion of the sun was visible. She could admit, it was one of her favourite spots too as it overlooked the Eiffel Tower.

Chat Noir helped (Y/N) down so that she could stand by herself. As if reading her thoughts, he collapsed his staff and sat down.
"I would usually come here with Ladybug," he said quietly, looking at the view. "But I haven't seen her in weeks now."

(Y/N) sat down next to Chat and looked over at him. "There haven't been any akumas for a while now," she said softly, remembering now that he loved her as her alter ego. She hadn't considered what her absence as Ladybug might make him feel.
"I miss her," he sighed, looking down at his hands. Tears dotted (Y/N)'s eyes as she saw his pain. "She misses you too. She's probably just getting wrapped up in her civilian life," (Y/N) tried to reassure him.
He nodded and moved his hands behind his body, keeping himself up. "I really miss her and a big part of it is because I have feelings for her. But she's never reciprocated them…and I feel like I should move on."
(Y/N) smiled softly. "So I guess we're in the same boat, huh," she said, looking over at him and he chuckled softly.
"Yeah, I guess so."

(Y/N) looked back at the view and beamed. "Wow...I didn't think it would be this beautiful," she said, the sun now completely gone. The sky began to paint itself in pink and orange shades, a gorgeous view with the Eiffel Tower in the front.
Remembering her bag, (Y/N) reached inside to pull out a container.
"Oh, I brought some croissants!" She said, opening the lid. "Freshly baked this morning," she smiled.
Chat smiled gleefully. "Yeah, I recognize that scent. It was pleasant to wake up to this morning,” he said, happily taking one out of the container. "You know me all too well, (Y/N)."

They both took one and started to eat. The scenery was so beautiful, the Eiffel Tower, the sky, the croissants...she wanted to remember this moment forever. He really did know how to make her happy, she thought. She never reciprocated Chat's feelings before because she was so hung up on trying to get Adrien, but that didn't seem like it was ever going to happen. Maybe Chat would know best. Should she move on from Adrien, or keep trying?
(Y/N) turned to Chat. "Do you think-" she began, though she was cut off by feeling the warmth of Chat's closeness and then his lips on hers.

After a beat, Chat pulled away and opened his eyes, seeing (Y/N)'s surprised expression. "I…I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me," he said softly. And truthfully, he didn't. She was his friend, both as Adrien and Chat Noir, but he couldn’t deny that he was getting comfortable with her and starting to act like something more, not to mention that she also wasn't asking him to stop.

(Y/N)'s eyes darted away in shyness and she blushed. She had kissed Chat Noir before but that was as Ladybug to save him from the akumatized villain. That kiss was so bland and he was trying to escape her the whole time. But this one, this one was so full of passion and specifically directed for her.

"It's okay, I really didn't mind-" she started, only for him to lean in again and kiss her even deeper than before, his actions clearly hanging on what her reaction would be. (Y/N) relaxed and closed her eyes, leaning in to feel his warmth even more. Sensing her willingness, Chat rested his hand on her waist, gently pulling her closer to him. Her scent enveloped his senses and he tasted the sweetness of the pastry on her lips.

After what felt like the longest minute ever, (Y/N) pulled away slowly as they both opened their eyes again. "So I guess you really liked that croissant," she joked quietly and Chat softly chuckled, looking down.

As the sun's light began to disappear and the night approached, Chat carried (Y/N) back to her home and dropped her off on her balcony. They said their farewells and (Y/N) made her way back inside. She fell onto her bed and smashed a pillow to her face, hiding her reddening cheeks.

Chapter Text

Adrien paced around his room next Thursday morning while Plagg was sitting on the couch. His kwami was relishing a gooey piece of camembert as his owner muttered to himself.

"I didn't make you do anything," Plagg said as he sniffed his cheese. "That was all you."
"Yeah, but you must have influenced me. (Y/N) is just a friend and I don't really see her that way," Adrien pushed on, feeling conflicted with his love for Ladybug.
"Maybe you just lose yourself when you're with her," Plagg said, letting out an exasperated sigh.
Flashes of (Y/N)'s features crossed Adrien's mind. Her hair, her lips, her eyes...goddamn, her eyes. Adrien shook his head. "No, I think I was just lonely and she was nice. Ladybug has my heart."
Plagg secretly rolled his eyes. "If only you knew..." he whispered and threw the chunk of cheese in his mouth.
A knock suddenly reverberated off of Adrien's bedroom door and Plagg quickly flew into his owner's shirt. "Adrien?" Nathalie called out. "It's time for school."
"Coming!" Adrien called out and grabbed his school bag, heading out of the room.

***************************************************************************************************

That school day was one of the most agonizing days Adrien had ever gone through. (Y/N) barely spoke with him, and when she did, he couldn't resist looking down at her lips. But, it was even more agonizing to remind himself that he was visiting her tonight to set things straight. He would explain that he lost himself and he would apologize. He loved Ladybug and he couldn't let go of that.

(Y/N) continued to try and ignore Adrien. She was trying to move on and the best way to do that was to not act "friendly." Yet, Adrien barely noticed this as he was lost in his own brain. To him, (Y/N) was still going through a heartbreak with Nathaniel and so he thought it would be best to give her some space.

***************************************************************************************************************

That night, Adrien kept checking the clock. He was running out of time and it was getting too late. Before he knew it, it was 11:00 pm and he still couldn't muster up the courage to go to (Y/N)'s tonight. Any way he practiced his speech made it sound like he was being an asshole. Fuck, maybe he was one.

Adrien rolled over in his bed and watched the clock strike 11:14pm. Visiting (Y/N) and giving her the speech was less of an asshole move than not showing up at all, he realized. His heart pounded as he sat up in his bed, his day clothes still on. "Plagg, claws out."

Leaping through the streets didn't give him as much adrenaline as he was feeling right that moment. As he passed street after street, it was like he felt several jolts jump through his body. As he reached (Y/N)'s place, he gently landed on the balcony. He realized that no matter how much he practiced his speech, nothing could prepare him for this moment. His planned words seemed to have just evaporated from his brain. Whatever, he hoped that they would somehow come back to him when (Y/N) was in front of him.

Chat looked at the glass trap door and he was almost relieved. It seemed like there were no lights on. That meant that (Y/N) was probably sleeping or not in her room. He sighed and turned around, about to head back home.

Suddenly, a faint sound caught his ear and he furrowed his brows. What was that? He cocked his head as his ear twitched. Was that coming from?-
He swivelled back around and leaned forward onto his front hands, quietly making his way to (Y/N)'s trap door like a stealthy cat. Chat slowly peered through the glass and his night vision kicked in. As Chat's eyes fell on the figure in front of him, he drew in a breath.

***************************************************************************************************************

At 10:00 pm earlier that night, (Y/N) let out a huge sigh as her chin rested in her hand. She was trying to finish her history assignment but all that she could think of was the night she had with Chat. The way he kissed her, twice. She didn't want to admit that she was falling for Chat, but she knew it. She could see how much he loved Ladybug and yet, he kissed her anyways. Maybe it was because her assumptions were right and he was a playboy, or maybe it was because he felt close with her in that moment.

(Y/N) kept looking over at the clock, the minutes ticking away any hope she had for tonight. She wanted to see him again, but it seemed like he wasn't coming. Her dress was ready for the dance on Saturday, much to her surprise, so she was using the time to catch up on her schoolwork.
"Do you think he changed his mind Tikki?" (Y/N) asked, fiddling with her pencil. "That he thinks last night was a mistake?"
Tikki flew over and sat on (Y/N)'s notebook, only a few words scribbled on the page. "Who knows (Y/N), it could be because he had something to do?"
Unsatisfied with her Kwami's answer, (Y/N) sighed and unhappily tapped her pencil against the table.
"(Y/N)...the point is that you can't know what someone is thinking and what their true purpose is for their actions. All you know is what you are thinking. And did you have a good time yesterday?"
(Y/N) blushed softly and looked down. "Yes."
"And did you feel happy when you were with Chat?"
(Y/N) hid a smile. "Yes."
"And did Chat kiss you last night? Twice?"
(Y/N) raised her finger to massage Tikki's cheek. "Alright, alright. Yes, I understand. I just...kinda want it to happen again." (Y/N) let out a breath as she stood up from the table. "I'm gonna go get ready for bed and if he doesn't come tonight then I won't take it personally. After all, I don't know his identity and I have no idea what his commitments are. I'm just going to head to bed early."

After her night routine, (Y/N) climbed up her stairs and padded over to her desk, wearing her pyjamas. She opened a drawer and bit her lip. "Tikki? Can I have the room to myself tonight?" She asked.
Tikki nodded. Being as old as time, the kwami was pretty accepting of human nature.

(Y/N) slowly pulled out the brown bag, it crinkling against her fingers as she pulled out the small vibrator, her cheeks turning pink. She'd never used one before so it was a bit funny to have something like this in her room. She looked at the tag, trying to find instructions but to no avail. It only said: "Good Vibes - Waterproof." (Y/N) snorted, thank goodness it was waterproof. She listened out for her parents and when she was sure they were sleeping, she flicked off the lights and headed up to her bed.

She sat on her bed and the vibrator rested in her hand, making her curious. She suddenly breathed in and held her breath, pressing on the button. Nothing.
She furrowed her brows and clicked again. Still nothing.
(Y/N) let out her breath in confusion. Why wasn't it working? Did it need to charge or something? (Y/N) frustratingly pressed and held the button, it suddenly whirring to life in her hand before (Y/N) squeaked and dropped it onto her bed. She would laugh as she watched the dancing toy for a moment, then quickly turned it off and laid down, taking a deep breath.

She slid the black toy under her panties and pressed it against her pussy, making sure to press and hold the button to turn it on. As it buzzed on, (Y/N)'s eyes widened "OH FUCK" she said loudly, swinging her other hand over to clamp down on her mouth. She was NOT expecting it to feel like that. Fuck, that was so powerful. She giggled as she shook her head. Oh Alya, I guess you were right, she thought.

(Y/N) laid there and tried to stay quiet, her breath escaping her multiple times as the device buzzed against her clitoris. Soft moans occasionally escaped her lips but she wasn't worried, her parent's room wasn't close by and they were sleeping.

She suddenly heard a quiet "thump" sound and she quickly turned off the toy, her heart pounding. Did she really hear that or was it in her mind? She listened carefully for a few seconds, not hearing a sound. Maybe it was just a pigeon, she decided, her heart returning to its normal rhythm.

She bit her lip and pressed on the button again, feeling it become revitalized. She drew in a breath and pulled one of her pillows into a hug, bursts of contained pleasure shooting throughout her crotch. One of the straps of her tank top slid down off her shoulder but she didn't care. If anything, it made her feel sexier. She moved the vibrator against her folds, learning about where it felt good. She sighed, maybe it would feel even better if she thought of something? Her mind instantly flashed to images of Adrien but she furrowed her brows. Not him, someone else. Someone like...

Her lips suddenly remembered the soft feeling of Chat. The way he held her as his lips moved with hers. She also remembered the way he held her, like she was delicate. He was so gentle...but she would love it if he was rougher with her. Her superhero identity might have stimulated something inside her where she loved a bit of roughness. Suddenly, something clicked inside her and she couldn't hold back anymore, imagining Chat pinning her down and driving his hips into hers. Her orgasm erupted and shot throughout her body. "Oh fuck! Chat...ah...Chat...more!" She moaned softly, her hips bucking against the buzzing vibrator.

As (Y/N)'s orgasm finished, her weak fingers turned off the toy and she laid there, closing her eyes. Damn, that was the most pleasure she had ever felt. She rested on her bed as her crotch tingled. Her legs occasionally twitched and she giggled softly, excited to have learned about this toy.

(Y/N) suddenly heard a crash above her and her heart beat sped up. What was that?! (Y/N) pulled the vibrator out of her pants and hid it in her bed, standing up and opening the trap door. A breeze of cold air greeted her bare shoulders and she shivered. It was hard to see in the darkness, but she could make out a pigeon sitting above one of her broken flower pots, the plant lying helplessly on the floor. "Ah...shoo!" She said, waving her hands at the pigeon. It flew away in irritation and (Y/N) grabbed another empty flower pot that was close by, scooping up the dirt and replanting the fallen plant.

The floor was still covered in dirt but she would clean it tomorrow. Believe it or not, she was too relaxed to care about cleaning it up tonight.

***************************************************************************************************************

Chat drew in a breath as his brain made sense of the image before him. It was (Y/N)...with her hand down her pants...and his ears could pick up the faint buzzing sound of a vibrator. He knew he was supposed to look away, to forget he ever saw this, but he just couldn't tear himself away from the scene before him.

His reason for coming to her place suddenly escaped him as he watched, feeling increasingly guilty. Chat bit his lip as he felt his cock grow, seeing how sexy she lay there, pleasuring herself. Chat's hands trembled as he avoided touching himself, his bulge throbbing. He heard (Y/N)'s breathy moans and watched her as she stimulated herself to her climax.
"Oh fuck! Chat...ah...Chat...more!" She moaned, his eyes suddenly widening. She was imagining him? "Fuck..." he whispered, his eyebrows raising as his control started to slip away.

His hand reached down to stroke himself and he suddenly caught a glimpse of a shadow beside his face.

Startled, Chat jumped up and whipped around, his metal rod accidentally hitting a flower pot over and making it crash to the ground. The pigeon that scared him just jumped over on the balcony, looking down at the flower pot as if assessing the damage. Looking like a frightened cat, Chat extended his stick and jumped off (Y/N)'s balcony and onto the roof behind it. He quickly hid himself behind the chimney, his heart racing a million miles a second.

He heard (Y/N) open her trap door and shoo the pigeon away. So...she hadn't seen him? Chat peeked out from the edge of the chimney and watched (Y/N) as she cleaned up the soil. Her skin seemed to glisten in the moonlight, and one of the straps of her tank top had slid off her shoulder, giving him an idea of how smooth her skin really was. Despite the scare, his boner was still active but he chose to ignore it. Chat hid behind the chimney and sighed, resting his head on the bricks. Shit, he was falling hard.

***************************************************************************************************************

Chat jumped back into his room and closed his window.
"Claws in," Adrien said, his kwami flying out of his ring and far away from the bed. He's been with his owner long enough to know what he was feeling.
"No...I'm not going to-" he said, stopping himself because he really didn't know if he would.

Adrien headed over to his bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face. He was going to set the record straight tonight...and instead, he watched the girl that he accidentally kissed (twice) masturbate to him. What's even worse, he was about to touch himself before that pigeon came out of nowhere. What was he doing??

Adrien pressed a towel to his face and patted away the water. No, this doesn't change anything, he thought to himself. He crawled into his bed and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep.

5...20...60 minutes passed as he laid there awake. His cock only hardened as time went by, images of (Y/N) flashing through his mind. He gritted his teeth and turned over onto his back, stuffing his hand down his pants. His cock throbbed as he touched it, as if happy to have persuaded him.

Soft groans escaped his mouth as he pumped himself, his tip oozing with precum almost instantly. He let out some ragged breaths as he pumped himself faster, imagining himself inside of (Y/N). Adrien swiftly grabbed a sock from the floor and flipped onto his front, his left arm supporting him. He would never masturbate in this position, but this was the best way to recreate what was going on in his mind. He imagined (Y/N) on her back, her legs opening just like they had when she was pleasing herself. He pictured himself above her, inside her. He then remembered how she moaned out his name as she climaxed, his eyebrows furrowing and making his hips twitch. Her hips had bucked as she said his name, he remembered, feeling himself lose control. The sudden burst of pleasure surprised him as he wasn't expecting it to be so much. "Fuck...(Y/N)..." he groaned as he came, imagining her legs wrapping around his hips.

His arm suddenly gave out from under him and he face-planted the pillow. He lay there for a minute, breathing heavily against the pillowcase and feeling his cock throb from happiness.

Yup, he thought. There was no turning back now.

***************************************************************************************************************

"What do you think, Adrien?"
Adrien blinked rapidly to bring himself back to reality. He suddenly saw (Y/N)'s big eyes looking up at him innocently. After Mrs. Bustier assigned (Y/N) and Adrien as partners, much to Lila and Chloe's disapproval, he was walking up to (Y/N)'s desk before his fantasies started to kick in.

"What do I think about...what?" He asked, feeling himself fall into her beautiful eyes.
(Y/N) blinked and looked away. "The idea...of doing our presentation on ancient Egypt?" She said slowly, trying to avoid his eyes. She was trying to get over him, she reminded herself.
"Oh!" Adrien said and quickly sat down next to her. "Yeah, that sounds great." He was letting his fantasies creep into his school life today, and he had to learn to distract himself. Especially now that he was working with (Y/N).

"We could-" he started, his gaze falling on the way she was holding that pencil. That same hand that held the vibrator which pleased her the night before.
"We could try doing a-" he trailed off again, watching her glossy lips open slightly. He remembered how they opened last night as she moaned his name.
"-PowerPoint..." he tried, feeling his jeans tighten. Fuck.
"Hold that thought, I'm gonna go to the bathroom," he excused himself quickly, trying to get out of there as fast as possible before anyone noticed.
(Y/N) watched him hurry away and she turned back to her paper. Move on, she urged herself. She hated how her heart fluttered every time Adrien looked at her. She was trying to keep her distance and now the teacher made them partners? The one time when she'd chosen to move on?

"Where'd your partner run off to?" She heard a voice ask from the desk behind hers. She turned and saw Nathaniel, making her sigh.
"The bathroom, he should be back soon though."
"Well hey, can I ask you something?"

***************************************************************************************************************

(Y/N) was up in her bedroom that following night when Chat came to visit her. She jumped a little as she heard the trap door open but she smiled, happy to see him. She was working on the homework she neglected to do yesterday. Plus, Adrien had spent a lot of time in the bathroom so they couldn't come up with more ideas for their presentation. They hadn't discussed meeting up over the weekend so she was trying to research the material now.

"Are you seriously doing homework on a Friday night?" Chat asked, walking over and standing behind her. He rested his left hand on the desk and leaned forward, hovering over her shoulder and looking at her computer screen.

(Y/N) felt his body gently press against hers, her heart skipping a beat but not letting it show. "Yup! The Garden Dance is tomorrow and it'll probably take the whole day, so I'm trying to get something done tonight."
"Mmm, ancient Egypt?" He murmured quietly, reading what she had on her screen.
"It's for a group project. I've been paired up with Adrien. You know, the model?" She said, trying to act casual as her insides were bubbling from the proximity of his body to hers.

Chat secretly winced. Is that all she saw him as? "You mean the guy plastered on your walls? Yeah I think I've heard of him," he joked in a sarcastic tone, making (Y/N) gently punch his shoulder.

Right, (Y/N) thought. That's enough of that. (Y/N) stood up from her chair and moved over to her mannequin which was displaying her dress, checking it over. She really didn't need to, it looked perfect. She just needed to get away from the closeness of Chat.

Not getting the hint, Chat walked back over to (Y/N) and stood behind her again, giving her goosebumps. "The dress is beautiful," he said, his breath landing on her neck. He internally gulped as he hoped he wasn't being too forward with her. He gently rested his hands on her waist. "Will you put it on for me, princess?"

(Y/N) almost fell over from the tingles that shot throughout her body. She wanted to give in...so...badly. But she couldn't. She turned around and took a step back. "Chat...I don't think we should do this," she said nervously, her willpower hanging by a thread.
As if sensing that she was holding back, Chat stepped forward and leaned his arm on the wall behind her. "Why not?"
(Y/N)'s eyes looked up at him again. "We kissed, and it was sweet...but I don't feel that way towards you," she said, gulping softly.
Their eyes locked, an infinite amount of messages being sent through just their eyes alone.
I know you want me, Chat thought.
I really want you, (Y/N)'s eyes seemed to respond.
Chat's green eyes matched hers as he stared down at her. Images of her pleasing herself flashed back into his mind. "Be honest," he said lowly.
"I am," she said back, not pulling her gaze away.
After a beat, his lips curled into up a smirk. "You're a terrible liar."
(Y/N) blinked. Shit. She had to keep going, she had to do this. "I'm not lying. We're just friends."
"Oh? Is that why you were calling my name last night?"

It took (Y/N) a moment to realize what he was talking about.

Was he fucking here? (Y/N)'s cheeks began to redden but she decided to stand her ground. "Sorry, I must have said it in my sleep."
"So you're dreaming about me too? I thought it was just me," he smiled.

They both stayed quiet for a moment and (Y/N) looked away. "Nathaniel asked me to the dance," she said quietly, realizing that it was inevitable, Chat would find out eventually.
Chat's smile disappeared. "And you said..."
"Yes," (Y/N) answered. Chat's arm fell down to his side.

Chat looked away for a moment. He then smiled softly and looked back at her. "That's great. I'm happy for you. I know how much you love him."
(Y/N) furrowed her brows. "Love him? I mean, I think he's a good friend but I wouldn't go so far as to say that I love him."
"But isn't he the guy you've been pining over for years? The one you told me about?"
(Y/N) sighed, realizing why he thought she liked Nathaniel. She walked back over to her desk and sat down, leaning back. "I'm sorry, I kind of lied...the guy I love...-d" she remembered, putting it in past tense. "-doesn't have red hair," she sighed, twisting her chair so that she wouldn't have to look at Chat's reaction. "It was Adrien."

Chat's ears stood up as he heard his name. Did she really..?
"I did, and then Lila asked him out and I thought he knew she was a liar but then he said yes to her anyways and after all those attempts to ask him..." (Y/N) trailed off, trying to stay strong as she knew she shed enough tears for him.

Chat couldn't believe his ears. He had fallen in love with her and she fell out of love with him. He couldn't even justify going to the dance with Lila because how would he do that as Chat?
"Oh...I...I'm sorry. Maybe you could try and ask him out after the dance..?" He suggested, realizing what she was trying to do when she had tried talking to him.
"Chat. I've been trying to ask him out for YEARS. I'm done, I can't. I don't have it in me anymore. Fate doesn't want us to be together and I've got to respect that. Or, it's trying to save me from the ultimate rejection he's going to give me."

"I thought...we shared something?" The poor cat asked softly, sitting down on the floor.
(Y/N) looked over at him and her heart melted. She stood up and headed over to him, sitting down beside him on the floor. "Chat, we did. I really like you and I love spending time with you. But I have to be honest with myself. Having a midnight rendezvous with a superhero? C'mon, we're not living in some smut book. I want to go on dates around other people, not hide. And if Hawkmoth ever finds out about me, he could use me to get to you. I don't want to risk that. It's best if we're just friends, nothing more."
Adrien felt like the stupidest person in the world. He could take her out on normal dates as Adrien, but she's over him now. He's lost (Y/N), as Adrien and Chat. He suddenly felt a huge burst of jealousy towards Nathaniel. Shit, he lost her both ways AND encouraged a guy to go after her, what was wrong with him?

"It's probably best if you don't visit me every night...just to stay safe," she smiled sadly and Chat nodded, hugging her one last time.

On the outside, he seemed to have given up, but he was going to do whatever it took as Adrien to get her back.

Chapter Text

(Y/N) stood in front of her full-length mirror, turning to the side as she looked at the stitching on her dress. She had been working on it for weeks and she was excited to finally wear it. The Garden Dance was here at last and she couldn't wait to show off her creation. She had just finished putting her hair up in an elegant looking bun that had locks falling down on either side of her cheeks. It was the perfect hairstyle because it didn't take the attention away from the dress. She apprehended her masterpiece and smiled to herself, hoping Nathaniel would like it.

The dress had a light pink corset top with mesh drapes that rested just below her shoulders. Her favourite touch were the roses she sewed on down the middle of the front of the corset and onto the mesh cloth. Although her collarbone and shoulders were revealed, she felt comforted knowing that the rest of her body was concealed. A long, dark green skirt covered her legs, starting from her waist and ending at the floor.

Despite feeling beautiful, (Y/N) took in a jagged breath as she looked at the heels next to the mirror. Since the dress reached all the way to the ground, she was fully expecting to wear her flats. That was, until her mother found out. Since it was such a beautiful dress, she just "had" to wear her mother's heels. She supposed that, to her mother, beauty was more important than walking. Originally, the heels were white and had a strap that wrapped around the ankle. Fuck it, she thought. If she had to wear those, then she had to go all out. She dyed the heels a light pink, similar to her corset, and glued tiny flowers and leaves to the straps to make them look like vines. No one was going to see them, but it made her feel that much more in love with her outfit. She even found the time to paint her toenails white.

The doorbell rang and (Y/N) sighed. Her parents had already left to set up the pastries at the dance, so it was probably Nathaniel coming to pick her up.
"I'll be down in a sec!" (Y/N) called out and sat down in her chair, quickly trying to slip on her heels.
After a moment, (Y/N) heard footsteps up the stairs and her door opened. "I'm coming in!" Nathaniel called out and gave her a moment, making sure that she was dressed before he entered. After a few seconds, Nathaniel climbed up into her room and froze when he saw his date.
"Wow.." he said and cleared his throat. "You look...your dress is beautiful," he said, his eyes scanning the artistry of her dress. Realizing where he was, he shook his head. "The door was open and I heard you call," he said sheepishly, making (Y/N) smile.
She looked back down at her shoes as she fiddled with the straps. "Thank you for the compliment," she responded, feeling honoured. Nathaniel was a talented artist and she only hoped that he would appreciate her works of art as much as she did his.
(Y/N) noticed that he was dressed in a tailcoat that had gold flowers down the lapel of the jacket.
"I see you took my advice and added a bit to your jacket! It looks really good," she said happily.
Nathaniel looked down at the gold flowers embroidered on his lapel. "Yes, I am so glad I went with your idea, I feel ready to represent my art."

(Y/N) struggled with the heels for a moment before securing them onto her feet, attempting to stand up. As soon as she was upright, however, her clumsiness started to get the best of her and she stuck out her arms, wobbling and trying to find her balance.

Seeing her struggle, Nathaniel hurried over to (Y/N) and let her take his arm. "Here, maybe this will help. I'll just make sure to stick by your side throughout the night," he chuckled and she smiled gratefully. "Thanks Nathaniel, hopefully I'll get a hang of these shoes. I want the dress to be the focus of attention...not the clumsy girl wearing it."

They both chuckled as they made their way downstairs and into the backseat of Nathaniel's car. His mom sat there waiting for them as she was going to be the one driving the couple to the dance.

*********************************************************************************************************

"On one of my many trips to Italy, I actually learned how to shape glass! I made a horse that was sold in an auction for $50,000 and I donated it to charity to help fight cruelty against animals."
Lila was being her usual self and winning the hearts of everyone through lies. Currently, Lila was beaming at a couple of strangers who approached her and Adrien. The man and woman both oohed and aahed at Lila's accomplishments while Adrien looked at everything but her. He obviously knew she was lying, but he was not in the mood to tell her off on it. He was mainly focused on scanning the great hall and trying to find (Y/N). What he hadn't noticed was that he had been nervously fiddling with his cuffs, straightening his tie and checking his watch throughout the night. Had she come yet and he didn't see her? Was she going to come at all? It was already an hour and a half into the event and he noticed that (Y/N)'s parents were here, so where was she?

The Garden Dance was being hosted by Mayor Bourgeois at the Hôtel de Ville. Many of the guests chose to stay inside and mingle, but the true beauty of the Garden Dance was the garden behind the hotel. For the event, the decorators placed a fountain outside and made a small maze around it using truckloads of flowers. The garden was the perfect place to walk through, but it was mainly intended for people to dance in. That's why the Mayor hired 3 violinists and a cellist to play there throughout the night. As soon as Adrien arrived, he had done a quick walk through to note where the best places in the garden would be to bring (Y/N).

As Adrien's eyes scanned the crowd once more, they squinted as they caught sight of a familiar figure emerging from the entrance of the hotel. Was that..? He sucked in a breath as he recognized the dress. It was as if his vision started to play in slow motion as he saw the most elegant looking lady in the hall. Her dress was even more beautiful on her than it was in her sketches. As if forgetting who he was with, he immediately started cutting through the crowd away from Lila and towards this beauty.

As he finally reached (Y/N), he was breathless and couldn't find his words. "You came..." Adrien managed to say, smiling bashfully.
(Y/N) looked over at Adrien and blinked, giving him a soft smile. "Y-yeah...my parents are providing the pastries so..." she said a little shyly.
"I know," he said quickly. "I was just confused when I didn't see you with them." He was suddenly feeling the butterflies in his stomach. Getting her back as Adrien was his only hope in being with her, so he needed to do this right. Tonight was the most romantic night he could ever hope for, it was the night to win her over.
(Y/N) looked down as she didn't know what to say. Was he waiting for her? Surely as just a friend, right? That's what he wanted all this time, so that's all they were.
Seeing her expression, he knew exactly what was going through her mind. He gently took her hand and leaned down, kissing the top of it and looking back up at her with his green eyes. "I'm glad you-"

"Sorry (Y/N), I just needed to speak to my mom," Nathaniel said breathlessly, interrupting the two as he sidled up next to his date.
Adrien's heart plummeted into his stomach as he remembered this detail. He gently let go of (Y/N)'s hand and gave Nathaniel a tight smile. "Hi, Nathaniel. It's great that you both could make it."
Nathaniel smiled and gave (Y/N) his arm again. To Adrien's dismay, she took it.
"Let's get something to eat? I really want to try the croissants your parents brought," Nathaniel said to (Y/N), leading her away from a quiet Adrien.

As he sadly watched them leave, he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder which almost made him jump like a cat. He swivelled around only to see a frowning Lila. She quickly faked a smile and tilted her head.
"Oh, so I guess they're just letting anyone in here. Oh well, it's nice that your friend (Y/N) could make it," she said sweetly, trying to hide the secret bitterness in her voice.
Adrien clenched his fists as he tried to hold back his annoyance. (Y/N) didn't deserve to be spoken about like that, but he wasn't going to cause a scene. His father emphasized that he had to put on a professional look tonight to represent the Agreste family, even though his own father neglected to come represent this "brand." Whatever, he thought, he was used to his father being absent from his life. Adrien was about to walk away but Lila gave out a small whine and touched her leg, reminding him about her fake injury and why he was with her tonight. He rolled his eyes and held out his arm for her, making her smile happily and snuggle up to him as they walked through the crowd to mingle with the guests.

Throughout the entire night, Adrien couldn't help but look for (Y/N) and look at what she was up to. If this was the night to win her over, he had to get to her while Nathaniel was away. Yet, just like Lila was glued to his side, Nathaniel would never leave (Y/N)'s. They were currently over at the mural that Nathaniel painted, talking with a few people who seemed really interested with his artwork. (Y/N) was standing next to him still holding his arm, though barely clinging on; Nathaniel was rather animated with his hands as he spoke about his art.

Adrien peered through the vines that covered the exit to the garden. He had to get (Y/N) in there for a dance, then he could tell her how he really felt about her.  Lila noticed Adrien looking at the entrance to the garden and bit her lip. "Do you want to go outside?" She asked, wanting him to ask her to dance. Adrien cleared his throat and looked away.
"No- I..." he trailed off, catching sight of a figure weaving her way through the crowd and towards the pastry table.

Finally! He let go of Lila and weaved through the crowd towards (Y/N). He had exactly one minute with her before Lila would catch up with her fake limping.

"Sweetheart, we can deal with the pastries, you go have fun," Sabine urged (Y/N).
"It's okay mom, I can stay and help," (Y/N) said and started gathering up a couple of empty plates.
Sabine caught sight of Adrien and beamed, seeing him before her daughter even noticed. "Hi Adrien, how are you?"
He smiled at (Y/N)'s mother. "I am well, thank you Mrs. (Y/LN)."
As he caught the attention of (Y/N), he had to pull himself away from those big beautiful eyes to look at her father. "I was wondering if I could ask your daughter for a dance?" He asked, standing up straight.
Tom looked at Sabine and raised his eyebrows, making her smile back at her husband. "Uh, yes...that would be okay."
Adrien's heart fluttered as he looked back at the glowing beauty in front of him. He stuck out his hand and looked into her deep eyes.
"May I have you for a dance?" He asked softly and (Y/N) looked at him in surprise.
The moment of silence between them was excruciating as he knew that Lila was about 10 seconds away by now.
Fuck, please...I know I messed up, but please...he thought to himself, looking at the most beautiful girl at this ball.
(Y/N) looked at her mother who nodded eagerly, urging her on. "Don't worry dear, we have everything handled here. You go have fun!"
The girl then looked at Adrien's hand, lowering her own as she took it hesitantly. He almost fainted from happiness but managed to stay composed. He started walking with her towards the garden, away from a seething Lila.

Music for Reading (2/2): https://youtu.be/uC2pz8WHsQE

They both walked through the vines and outside, where the garden was lit up in thousands of twinkling lights. The full moon shone above, fireflies flying from one flower to the next. The musicians were playing a musical composition named "Gabriel's Oboe" as they walked in and (Y/N) gasped at the lovely scene before her. Adrien smiled at her; although there were thousands of lights around them, nothing could amount to the light behind this girl's eyes.

(Y/N) blushed shyly as she came back to herself.
"I can barely walk in these shoes, I don't know if I'll be any good with dancing."
Adrien chuckled. "Ah, is that why you're hanging on to me for dear life?" He said and pressed her arm closer to his body. "Don't worry, I'll be here to catch you."
He slowly walked them around the fountain and towards the outskirts of the maze, dozens of red roses sprouting from the walls. He wanted them to be surrounded by these roses as they danced, flowers were one of the ways he could show (Y/N) how he felt about her. The fountain covered their view of the crowd in the hall and its streams of water ensured that the chatter inside evaporated into the air.

Adrien let go of (Y/N)'s hand and stepped back, leaning down and taking a bow.
(Y/N) looked at the handsome boy in front of her. God, getting over him was the hardest thing she ever had to do, and that included fighting Hawkmoth. Why did she even agree to this dance? Nathaniel was probably finished speaking to those art collectors and looking for her, and she was here, not moving on. (Y/N) sucked in a breath as her hands grasped her skirt, taking a step to the side and bowing as well. Just one dance, she figured, then she was out of here and on to her new life with Nathaniel.

Adrien pulled her into him with a soft smile. Despite what she was telling herself, she was feeling wobbly, and it wasn't because of the shoes.
The boy rested his right hand on (Y/N)'s waist and she looked up at him with her big, beautiful eyes. "I wont let you fall, (Y/N)," he said to her softly and gently pulled on her to start their dance.

They slowly waltzed around the fountain and (Y/N) found herself forgetting the turmoil she was going through. This was so romantic, and he was so handsome... She was losing herself to his touch and she felt so high.

"You look beautiful in that dress (Y/N), I'm amazed that you designed it," Adrien looked down at her with his green eyes.
"Thank you...How did you know that I made it?" (Y/N) asked curiously.
Fuck. This was something Chat Noir would know, not Adrien. He tried his best not to panic as he scrambled for a something.
Adrien's fingers gently ran over the fabric on her waist and he remembered when she designed the Derby hat for him. "Because you like to sign your designs, and I noticed the stitching on your dress."

(Y/N) smiled softly, feeling happy that he noticed. She looked down at his suit and her eyebrows furrowed. "Hey...that's-"
Adrien smirked as he looked away, knowing that she would notice this subtle detail.
On the light pink pocket square tucked into Adrien's breast pocket, there was a red embroidered flower that was almost identical to the flowers on (Y/N)'s dress. (Y/N)'s fingers ran across the handkerchief as she chuckled. "That's funny...that's the exact same flower that I used for my dress. What a coincidence!"
Adrien raised his eyebrows in mock surprise. "Oh wow! I hadn't even noticed."

As (Y/N) was distracted, her heal twisted and she let out a peep, falling onto Adrien. He chuckled and held her tighter. "Don't worry, I got you," he whispered into her ear and helped her gain her footing. She laughed softly at her clumsiness but decided to stay close to him. Even though they were just friends, she couldn't deny that she felt incredibly comfortable with him like this. They continued to dance and she gently hugged him, resting her chin on his shoulder. Her plump breasts pressed against Adrien's chest, causing him to clench his jaw in surprise. He wasn't expecting her to be so comfortable with him right away, but he was glad that she felt she could lean against him like this. Their bodies moved slow as Adrien's hot breath landed on (Y/N)'s neck. Her soft skin gleamed under the moonlight, taking all of Adrien's willpower not to cover her exposed skin in kisses. Goosebumps shot up (Y/N)'s arm as if she sensed his desire.

Maybe this was the time to tell her? "(Y/N)...I-"
"I'm so glad we're friends Adrien. I like spending time with you," (Y/N) said peacefully.
Adrien's face dropped as he looked to the heavens. Fine, maybe he deserved this, but he still wasn't giving up.
"Sorry, I interrupted you. What were you going to say?" She asked curiously.

He gently moved his face away from (Y/N)'s ear and looked down at her.
"Let's sit down for a moment," he said softly and stopped dancing.
(Y/N) looked a little surprised but nodded, "Yeah, sure. Are you tired?"
"No," Adrien shook his head. "I just want to talk to you," he sat down, tapping the stone fountain seating next to him.
(Y/N) looked at the seating. "Okay..." She said carefully and sat down next to him.

They had danced around the fountain to the point where they could see the entrance to the inside and the many people chatting about. However, the music from the quartet and water from the fountain still managed to drown out the many conversations.

"Do you want to be with Nathaniel?" Adrien asked, deciding to dive right in.
(Y/N) stared back at him and furrowed her brows. "Sorry...are you asking if I want to date Nathaniel?" She asked in confusion.
Adrien stared back into her eyes. "Yes...is he the one you want to be with?"
(Y/N)'s eyes darted away, "Why are you asking me that?"
"Because..." he hesitated. "Because I see the way you look at him. And I remember the way you...used to look at me. And it's much different," he said, his heart pounding in his chest. Adrien looked at the beauty in front of him and he lowered his voice.
"You look at Nathaniel like he's a friend..." he said and gently cupped the girl's cheek, tilting her head back up so that their eyes could meet. "I want you to look at me like you used to." Adrien said softly, his green eyes resting on hers.

(Y/N) didn't know what was happening, but she felt like she was under his spell again. Everything tingled as his hand rested against her cheek. She didn't know what to say, but she felt herself slowly falling closer to him. Adrien tucked a lock of (Y/N)'s hair behind her ear as he moved closer to her glossy lips. Her eyes fluttered closed as she slowly felt his warm lips begin to touch hers.

Her mind was screaming as she couldn't believe that this was happening.

Wait...

The music abruptly stopped as (Y/N) quickly pulled away, looking inside the hall. That wasn't her mind, that was real! People started to yell as dishes crashed to the ground. (Y/N) quickly stood up as she realized what she was looking at.

A familiar voice yelled just loud enough for the couple to hear over the sound of the fountain. "(Y/N)! You left me for some filthy rich boy who you think is better than me. But now, I can give you everything!" the Evillustrator yelled, furiously drawing on his tablet.

"Nathaniel?" (Y/N) asked quietly, realizing that he had seen everything that had happened, and was about to happen.

A glass cage suddenly fell around (Y/N) as Adrien cursed himself under his breath. Did he really think that Hawkmoth was gone? Of course he would have used this party to his advantage! And this time, it was his own fault that someone got akumatized. He knew that he was supposed to feel guilt, but in all honesty, he was mad that he didn't get to kiss (Y/N). All his work was now undone because of Nathaniel's fragile ego.

Adrien pushed those thoughts aside and looked at a frightened (Y/N). "I'll get you out (Y/N)! Don't worry!" Adrien yelled out frantically.
"Oh don't you worry!" The Evillustrator yelled out maniacally. "I have something special for you, rich boy!"

Chapter 7: Lights Out

Chapter Text

Adrien's eyes widened as the Evillustrator turned his attention over to him. The night had taken a dark turn when Nathaniel saw Adrien making a move on his date, (Y/N). He was now akumatized and ready to destroy his competition.

The Evillustrator drew on his pad and chains appeared from all directions, dashing across the floor and heading straight for Adrien. Thankfully being athletic enough without his suit on, Adrien jumped over the fountain and sprinted further into the maze, promising that he would transform as Chat Noir and save (Y/N) from that glass cage.

Earlier on his walk tonight, he remembered seeing an exit door that led out of the maze and to the back of the hotel. He heard the clanging of the chains as they followed him, close to his feet. He thrust his body against the door with a grunt and quickly shut it, the chains hitting the metal door and falling to the ground.

Adrien stood there, breathing hard as he took a moment to compose himself. Great...what a beautiful end to a beautiful night, he thought sarcastically. Adrien slid down the door and sat on the ground as Plagg flew out of his jacket.
"C'mon Adrien, you gotta transform and save (Y/N), remember?"
"I know...I'm just-argh! Why did he have to ruin it all?" He asked in frustration.
"Well, you are the one who egged on Nathaniel to ask (Y/N) to the dance," Plagg reminded his owner. "Then you go on and steal her for a dance and a kiss? Friend of the year, everybody!" His kwami quipped.
Adrien sighed and rested his head on the door. "Fuck...you’re right. I messed up," he said in defeat and closed his eyes. "I know it's my fault...but I still want her. She was about to kiss me, Plagg. I know she's still not over me."

"COME OUT ADRIEN, AND LET ME GIVE YOU WHAT YOU DESERVE," a yell erupted from the maze.

Adrien quickly stood up and transformed into Chat Noir. He needed to save (Y/N) and get her out of here. Ladybug could deal with the villain as he got (Y/N) somewhere safe.

His heart jumped as he thought of Ladybug. He hadn't seen her in weeks...he hoped everything was okay with her and that she would make it.

The cat pulled out his metal rod and dialed Ladybug's number as he ran back to the entrance of the hall. The call went straight to voicemail so he left a message, hoping that she would hear it soon.

Chat Noir burst into the hall and saw (Y/N) in the glass cage, propped up on the stage. The Evillustrator was nowhere to be seen, so he assumed he was still looking for Adrien in the garden. He didn't have much time before the villain would give up, so he rushed to (Y/N).

"(Y/N)! Are you okay?" Chat asked worriedly, placing his hand on the glass.
(Y/N) smiled sadly and rested her hand against the glass as well, wishing that she could touch him. "Please get me out kitty...It's getting a little hard to breathe," she said nervously, her breath fogging up the glass.
"Don't worry, Ladybug will be here any moment and fix all this," he said hopefully, making (Y/N) nod nervously.
"For now, stand back," he said, backing up. He aimed his rod at the glass cage as far from (Y/N) as he could get and extended his stick. Hopefully, the force would shatter the glass and he wouldn't have to use his cataclysm. Ladybug might need his power for her plan.

The stick hit the glass and made him jump back from the force. Damn, the glass was too thick. He had to use his power to free her, so he raised his hand to summon his ability.

"CHAT!!" (Y/N) screamed as an intense force knocked into him and made him fly across the room. His body suddenly crashed into a wall, leaving an indentation.

"So the cat has come to play..." The Evillustrator chuckled, walking towards the superhero. Chat peeled off the wall and collapsed onto one knee in front of the Evillustrator. He reached his hand over to Chat's, wanting his ring. Finding a surge of energy, Chat pounced at the villain and pushed him down. The Evillustrator's pen flew away from his hand as they wrestled on the ground. Chat couldn't break the pencil yet because Ladybug needed to catch the akuma, but maybe he could hold onto it and hide it.

As the two fought, (Y/N) was starting to get woozy. The oxygen in the cage was depleting, and she felt like she was choking. She was the only one who could de-evilize the akumas so she had to get out of here, no matter what.
"Tikki...Spot-" she choked out, her head becoming fuzzy. Fear started to cave in as (Y/N) realized that she had waited too long. Darkness clouded her vision as (Y/N) suddenly collapsed to the ground.

Chat and the Evillustrator were still fighting to reach the pen when they heard the crowd gasp. Chat looked up, his heart stopping as he saw the scene before him.
"(Y/N)??" He cried in disbelief, standing up from the ground. When the figure didn’t respond, he pushed off the villain and bolted to the girl. "(Y/N)!!!" He yelled, Chat’s voice cracking. "CATACLYSM!" He yelled, destroying the glass cage and letting the pieces fall all around the unconscious girl.

The akumatized Nathaniel grabbed his pen and stood there, frozen. "(Y/N)?" He asked quietly, scared to know.

Chat leaned over (Y/N)’s body as he listened closely, holding his breath as he listened for hers. After several painfully long seconds, he heard a soft, raggedy breath escape (Y/N)’s mouth, making his whole body release the tension it was holding. "I need to get her to the hospital," he said worriedly, scooping her up into his arms and running out of the hall.

The villain stood there, unable to comprehend what he should do. He couldn't believe what he'd done to the girl he loved. He needed to set things right, he needed to take care of her. The Evillustrator’s eyebrows furrowed as he drew himself a flying platform and jumped on top. He needed to be the one to help (Y/N), not Chat.

He flew out the same way that Chat left and ascended into the sky, getting a good view of Paris to track them down.

******************************************************************************************************************

(Y/N) coughed in Chat's arms as he jumped through the city. "Don't worry (Y/N), I'm getting you some help."
"I'm-" she croaked out and cleared her throat. "I'm okay Chat, really. Just hide me somewhere away from him."
Chat furrowed his brows as his ring beeped, indicating that he only had a couple minutes before he de-transformed. "No. You're getting checked by a doctor. I need to make sure that you're okay," he said, a mix of worry and frustration in his voice.
"Chat, he's going to follow you. He'll find the both of us and then I wont be at the doctor anymore. You have to hide me. You can take me to the doctor after you've captured the akuma," she emphasized.

Chat frowned and stopped jumping, resting on a rooftop. "I'm just so mad that he put you in danger like that."
(Y/N) smiled softly and reached her hand up to cup Chat's cheek. "Don't worry kitty, I'll be alright," she said gently. His eyes closed as he felt the warmth of her hand, he loved it when she touched him.
After a moment, he regained his focus to the task at hand and continued jumping from roof to roof.
"You're right, I do need to hide you," he said, looking around. He spotted the movie theatre and hurried in, still carrying her. "Hide somewhere here. I'll come get you when Ladybug gets the akuma."
Chat gently set (Y/N) back down onto the floor. "You sure you're okay? I can bring a doctor or-" he tried, his words getting cut off from (Y/N)'s finger on his lips.
"I'm okay Chat. I'll be here," she nodded and he gave her a tight smile. He wished he could stay and protect her here, but he also couldn't leave Ladybug alone in defeating the Evillustrator.
He pulled (Y/N) closer by her shoulder and gently kissed her forehead. "I'll be back before you know it, Princess."
And with that, he hurried out to catch the Evillustrator.

Tikki flew out in front of (Y/N)'s face. "Are you okay?" The kwami asked worriedly. "You fainted...thank goodness Chat Noir was there to save you!"
"I'm okay Tikki," (Y/N) said calmly. "I have to transform now and help Nathaniel. Hopefully Adrien is safe..." she said nervously. "Tikki? Spots on!"

******************************************************************************************************************

Ladybug appeared above the movie theatre, hearing a commotion on the street.

"LET ME THROUGH!" An akumatized Nathaniel yelled, frantically scribbling and summoning swarms of arrows towards Chat Noir. "I need to get to (Y/N)!"
"Over my dead body!" Chat yelled, his eyebrows furrowing as he spun his rod in front of him, deflecting the arrows that were being sent his way. His ring was beeping, indicating that he had less than a minute left before he de-transformed.
"We can arrange that!" Nathaniel yelled, increasing the size of the arrows. One headed straight for Chat as Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around her partner's body and pulled him up onto the rooftop. As Chat suddenly realized who it was, his cheeks flushed.

"My Lady-" he said in surprise and cleared his throat, trying not to let his past feelings overthrow his focus."We can't let him get into the movie theatre! A girl named (Y/N) is there and-"
"Don't worry. I saw that he was following you when you brought her in there and then I took her somewhere else to safety. He'll never find her," she said, pulling the string back into her yo-yo as Nathaniel ran inside the theatre.

"Good thinking m-...Ladybug," he caught himself and smiled. "It's been quite a while..."
"I know, its been such a vacation!" She exclaimed. "I almost thought that Hawkmoth gave up."
Chat's ears drooped a little. Sure, it was nice not having to worry about any akumas, but he did miss her. He guessed that she didn't feel the same way. He shook his head, trying not to brood in such a dire situation. "I'm about to de-transform. I have to recharge," he said and hurried behind a chimney.

As Adrien fed his kwami, he let Ladybug in on the details of the situation.
"The akuma is in his pencil again. He is in love with that girl, (Y/N), and has it out for a guy named Adrien."
Ladybug nodded and threw her yo-yo into the sky. "Lucky charm!"
A bag of marbles suddenly appeared in the air and fell into Ladybug's hand, leaving her to ponder for a few seconds. Chat walked back around the chimney and joined his partner.
"He's definitely going to lose his marbles when he finds out that (Y/N) isn't in there," Chat punned, feeling back to his own self.
Ignoring him, Ladybug bit the inside of her cheek. "Hmm, if this is anything like last time, we need to get rid of all the lights. Evillustrator can't draw in the dark," she said, pulling out a marble.

"WHERE IS SHE YOU MANGY CAT?!" The Evillustrator yelled as he ran back outside.
"Distract him!" Ladybug whispered to Chat. "Once I hit all the lights, you can grab his pen."
Chat nodded and jumped down onto the sidewalk, revealing himself.
"I'll never let you find her. I don't want you to hurt her again!" He yelled, running at the Evillustrator and beginning to fight him.
Ladybug started throwing marbles at the lights with an impeccable aim, smashing them one by one until there were none left. The Evillustrator yelled in frustration as he searched for a light, but Chat was able to use his night vision to snatch the pen.
Chat always enjoyed his power of destruction, but he needed to check on (Y/N) afterwards, so instead of using it, he snapped the pen in half to break Hawkmoth’s spell. An akuma flew out of the pen and into the sky, there being just enough light for Ladybug to catch and de-evilize the dark butterfly.

"Bye bye little butterfly," Ladybug said with a smile, watching the white wings flutter back into the sky. After fixing all the wreck that the Evillustrator caused with his chaotic creations, Ladybug jumped down onto the street and rested her hand on Nathaniel's back.

"Hey Nathaniel...are you okay?"
Nathaniel sniffled sadly and looked down. "I thought that I really had a shot with this one girl, but it turns out that I never did."
Ladybug frowned as Chat Noir walked back up to the two of them.
"Maybe it's because she's not the one for you?" Chat said softly. "After all, you deserve a girl that's head over heels for you and nothing less. And she's out there looking for you while you chase another girl. Trust me, you'll find the one," Chat smiled and extended his hand out to help Nathaniel onto his feet. "Maybe she's at that dance where I found you?"
Ladybug smiled up at Chat as Nathaniel took his hand. "Thanks guys, I'm sorry about this," he said awkwardly.
The two superheroes did a fist bump and smiled at each other. Another akuma was taken care of.

"Right then," Ladybug said and sighed. "Chat, can you take Nathaniel back to the dance?" She asked, getting her yo-yo ready.
"Actually..." Chat tilted his head. "Can you take him back? I told (Y/N) I would be back as soon as we finished."
Ladybug blinked as she looked away. Dammit, how was she going to play this through? "Well, I know where she is so I can just pick her up..."
"But you could just tell me and I'll go right now," Chat insisted. Ladybug touched her ear as she heard her earring beep, indicating that she only had 2 minutes left. She sighed in frustration and pulled Nathaniel close to her. "Fine, I dropped her at...at her house," she said quickly, listing off the first thing that came to her mind.
"Her house?" Chat asked and furrowed his brows in confusion. "Isn't that a little obvious, M'Lady? That doesn't seem like a good place to hide someone..."
Ladybug was trying her best not to scream. "It was her idea. She said it was so obvious that he wouldn't consider it," she justified and threw her yo-yo, wrapping it around the top of a building and flying up into the night sky.

Chat stood there, thinking for a moment before he shrugged. "Yeah, I guess she’s right," he said to himself.
He then held out his stick and extended it, propelling himself towards (Y/N)'s home.

Chapter Text

What a night it was...Chat thought to himself as he jumped through the city towards (Y/N)'s house. The two superheroes managed to return Nathaniel back to his normal self and Chat was now heading over to (Y/N)'s home to check on her. To everyone's surprise, the glass cage that (Y/N) was trapped in ran out of oxygen and the girl fainted right before she was able to transform into Ladybug. Thank goodness Chat was able to use his power and free her, taking her away from Nathaniel and giving her the opportunity to secretly transform. In order to keep Chat from finding out her identity, Ladybug said that she took (Y/N) to an even more secret location, later revealing that it was back to her house.

Chat thought of the countless times Ladybug would put herself in harm's way, only to figure out that it was her plan. He remembered those moments when he felt like he had lost her right then, his soul almost leaving his body as the thought of her gone was excruciating. He had felt that way tonight, but this time it was towards (Y/N). Ladybug still held a place in his heart, but as he spent more time with (Y/N), he realized that she held the other part of it. Seeing how she collapsed today, almost taken from him...he realized how much she really meant to him, and how he was going to protect her using everything that he had. If he had to just be her friend, so be it.

As he jumped on (Y/N)'s balcony, he looked through her glass trap door and knocked. "(Y/N)? (Y/N), are you in there?"
He sat there for a moment, listening out for any sound coming from within the house, but he heard nothing. He suddenly started to feel a tightness in his chest as flashes of (Y/N) trapped in the glass cage clouded his vision. Maybe she was downstairs, he hoped.
He hurried around the building and descended, reaching the door to her home and knocking quickly. He reached the door to her home and knocked quickly. "(Y/N)? (Y/N)??"
He tried to listen out for any sounds but all he could hear was his pounding heart. What if she had passed out inside? What if she needed help right now?? Chat rested his hand on the wooden door and furrowed his brows. "CATA-"

The door suddenly opened and there stood (Y/N), breathing heavily. "Chat! Hey!" She said lightly. As she saw his expression, she looked at him in worry. "Is everything alright?"
Chat dropped his arm to his side as all his negative thoughts dissipated into the air. "(Y/N)!" He said breathlessly himself, not realizing that he was holding his breath. Chat wrapped his arms around the girl and held her close. "I'm...I'm so glad you're okay, you have no idea..."
(Y/N) stood there in surprise, feeling touched that he cared so much about her. He was the reason why she was rushing through Paris tonight, trying to drop off Nathaniel at the hotel and making it to her room before Chat got there first, but it wasn't his fault.
She wrapped her arms around him as well and closed her eyes. "I'm okay...I'm sorry to have scared you..."

After a moment, Chat pulled away and laughed nervously. "Right then...sorry about that. Should we be going then?"
(Y/N) tilted her head in confusion. "Where..?"
Chat looked at her funny. "To the Garden Dance, silly. Remember?" He said, moving his hand up and down, directing her attention to her dress. "Beautiful dress by the way. I knew it would look amazing on you, Princess," he said with a side smile.
"Oh!" (Y/N) remembered and bit her lip. "Um.." she avoided Chat’s eyes and placed her hand on the back of her neck. "I don't know...I don't think I should go back."
"What? Why not?"
"I just...I hurt Nathaniel...and I'll be there all alone." She then lifted her dress a little to show her shoes. "And these dang heels are just so uncomfortable, I can't bear to take another step, let alone try and dance in them."
Chat chuckled as he tilted his head. "I was wondering why you looked taller than usual. No matter what though, I'll still be taller than you," he winked at her. Then, without warning, he leaned down and wrapped his arms around her, picking her up bridal style.
(Y/N) let out an peep as she was swept off her feet. "Chat! What are you doing??" She said a little nervously.
"Taking you to your room," he said smugly, carrying her to the stairs. "You just said you couldn't take another step so..."
(Y/N) rolled her eyes as she hid a smile. "It was just an expression, you silly cat. Plus, I could have sat down there and taken them off on the floor."
"My Princess? On the floor? Like I would let that happen," he smirked, opening her trap door with a slight grunt.

She blushed and watched the bell around his neck jingle as he walked up the steps to her room, feeling relaxed in his arms as he took care of her. Sure, they were just friends, but Chat really did know how to make a girl feel special. She thought back to the fight and remembered how he stood outside the movie theatre, guarding the entrance with every second he had left so that the Evillustrator wouldn't get inside.

He gently placed her at her desk's chair and he sat down on the floor, taking her foot and looking up at her. "Can you lift your dress a little, princess?"
(Y/N) sat there shyly, her cheeks turning pink. If she were to say anything, it would only come out as a jumbled mess so she grabbed the skirt and slid it up her leg to reveal her feet.
Chat looked down at her shoes and hid a smile. Of course she would decorate these shoes too, he loved how much she paid attention to details. He fiddled with the strap and eventually started sliding her foot out of the shoe. As he started on the other one, (Y/N) looked away and tried not to think of the tingles that were shooting up through her legs.
"There," he said and gently pulled her skirt back down, but not before helplessly sneaking a glance at the beauty of (Y/N)’s calves, her skin so soft that it almost distracted him from the task at hand. Chat stood up and leaned over (Y/N), giving her forehead a soft kiss. "Good night, (Y/N)," he said and pulled out his staff from behind his back.

(Y/N)'s heart dropped as she looked up at him. "You're leaving?" She asked sadly.
He raised his eyebrows as he looked at her. "Do you want me to stay?" He asked curiously.
(Y/N) averted her eyes shyly. "I kind of miss hanging out with you...unless you have to go?"
Chat shook his head as he placed his rod back behind his back. "No...no I can stay," he smiled. Screw Lila and her fake injury. (Y/N) needed him, and he wasn't going to let her down. After all, it was sort of his fault for getting Nathaniel akumatized.

(Y/N) stood up and headed over to her chaise lounge, sitting down and resting her back on the backrest. She pulled her feet up to make room for Chat and smiled, patting the empty seat for him.
Chat sat down next to her and rested one foot on his knee. "Aren't you going to change clothes? Isn't it a big no-no to crease your dress?"
(Y/N) shrugged and hugged her knees to her chest. "I really like this dress. I guess I'm not ready to take it off just yet," she laughed softly. "I don't know if I'll ever get to wear it again. Plus, I think I already wrinkled it a bunch from when I fell."
Chat's face slowly returned to a visage of grief as he remembered seeing her unconscious body laying on the ground. "Right. I can't help but feeling that it was my fault."
(Y/N) furrowed her brows. "Chat, you did your best. No one guessed that I wouldn't be able to breathe, not even Nathaniel."
Chat looked away, not going to correct her as to why exactly it was his fault.
(Y/N) saw how quiet Chat became and she reached out her hand to take his. "Point is...I'm alright. See?" She said, squeezing his hand and giving him a smile.
He looked down at her hand in his and he nodded, giving her a soft smile. "And thank god for that."
Wanting to get his mind off of tonight, she decided to distract him. "Hey, now that my shoes are off, I'm feeling like I'm in a dancing mood," she said with a silly smile, standing up and pulling on his arm to join her. "Will you dance with me, Mr. Noir?"
Chat chuckled and stood up. "Mr. Noir? Now that I could get used to," he said smugly. "Alright then, but we need some music," he said and walked over to (Y/N)'s computer, leaning over and clicking on the mouse to wake up the screen. As the desktop came to life, his eyes widened as he saw a collage of his alter ego plastered all over (Y/N)'s screen. Chat couldn't help but smirk as he looked over at a blushing mess of the girl.
"Oh, this is truly art," he said teasingly, unable to hide his shit-eating grin.
(Y/N) dashed to her computer and quickly opened YouTube. "I'm not into him anymore I promise I just haven't gotten around to changing it and-" she said in a huge ramble of words, almost convincing Chat that she was speaking a whole different language. Avoiding his gaze, she eventually found a classical music playlist.
Chat rested his hand on her desk and leaned into her side. "It's okay, you don't have to explain yourself. After all, Nathaniel told me why he got akumatized," he said, gently taking her hand and walking her over to the middle of the room. She continued to avoid his eyes as if she was a puppy in trouble. "Seems like this Adrien guy has a thing for you too," he said, pulling her into him. (Y/N) wrapped her arm around Chat's neck as they started a slow dance. A long moment of silence stretched out as the two were lost in their own thoughts.

This was perfect, Chat thought to himself. He was going to win her over, whether it was as Adrien or Chat Noir. It was cute that she was stringing him along, he didn't know which identity he would get her as, but he didn't care.

"I don't know Chat..." (Y/N) said quietly, breaking the silence. "I still have feelings, but I also can't forget about all the pain I've had from him. I'm scared I'll fall again and find myself even more broken than before."
Chat nodded and held (Y/N) closer, almost as if he was hugging her.
"What about you and Ladybug?" (Y/N) asked, resting against his body. "I bet you were really happy seeing her again after all this time?"
Chat shrugged slightly. "Yeah, it was nice seeing her again." Ladybug was out of the picture, he needed to make her realize that.
"And..?"
"And...nothing. That's it."
"But I thought you were in love with her?" (Y/N) pushed on. He was obsessed with Ladybug as much as she was obsessed with Adrien, it was hard to believe that he had moved on.
Chat sighed. "I was. But then I started spending time with this other wonderful girl..." he said, pulling away slightly to look into her big beautiful eyes. "And then she friend-zoned me too," he chuckled a little, sighing and pulling (Y/N) back against his body. "I guess I have a type, huh?"
(Y/N) blushed as they continued to dance. "But...if Ladybug came up to you and said she was ready to be with you, would you accept?"
After a moment of silence, Chat shrugged again. "I don't know."

(Y/N) didn't blame him, she was going through the same thing. One person could love two people and still choose, right?
Chat took her hand and stepped away, making her spin around and come back into him. "What about you and Adrien?" He asked.
(Y/N) followed his lead and rested her body against him. "I think he tried to tonight...that's why Nathaniel got mad."
Chat looked down at her. He wanted to win her over as Adrien and give her the life she wanted, but she was completely honest with him when he wore the suit. He needed her, his body aching from not being able to touch her the way he wanted to.
"It seems like he likes you too then...so why don't you want to go back?"
(Y/N) looked up into Chat's green eyes, her heart pounding. They both had their hearts torn between people, she thought to herself. Yet, he acted differently with her than he did with Ladybug. She saw a new side to him, and she supposed she showed a different side to him too.

(Y/N) gently ran her fingers through Chat's hair and pulled his head down, locking their lips together. Chat's tail froze as he felt her warm embrace. Her sweet smell of pastries encompassed his nose but he pulled away.
"I...thought you wanted to just be friends," he said, his green eyes scanning hers. Her lips were slightly parted from the kiss as she stared back up at him silently. She had no idea what to say.

As if in a hungry daze, he moved his head forward and pressed his lips against hers again. Her mouth tasted sweet as their lips moved together, (Y/N)'s eyes fluttering closed at the contact. Fuck...she tasted so good. Chat gently pushed (Y/N) so she would walk backwards, her back gently hitting her bedroom wall. His mouth slowly moved off her lips and trailed down to her neck, leading down to her collarbone. (Y/N)'s mouth dropped open slightly as his kisses shot tingles all throughout her body.
"You're so gorgeous, Princess," he murmured, moving his lips over to her bare shoulder. He's been wanting to pepper her soft skin with kisses all night, so it felt like a sweet release. His nose picked up a faint scent of the body wash she used today, making her skin smell like flowers.
"Chat..." (Y/N) moaned, feeling like she was about to melt. Her hand reached up to his head and she gave him small scratches, playing with his cat ears as if she was petting a kitten.
Chat's eyes rolled up as he wasn't expecting her caresses to have such an effect on him. Chat stood back up again and rested his body against hers, his eyes closing as his forehead rested against the wall. "You drive me crazy," he said lowly, a purr erupting throughout his body and vibrating against (Y/N)'s chest.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she felt the soft vibration against her body. "I didn't know you could do that! That's so cute..." She whispered, breathing in his musky scent.

Chat's cheeks turned pink as he wasn't expecting it either. He quickly leaned down and grabbed her legs, making her wrap them on either side of his waist and lock her arms around his neck. (Y/N) squealed shyly as she didn't know he was going to react this way. Chat carried her over to her chaise lounge and gently placed her down on her back. His body loomed over her own as his hips gently rested on hers, making her feel his hard bulge. (Y/N)'s cheeks pinked in response, realizing his excitement.

"I want to make your fantasies come true, (Y/N)," he said, his lips gently moving against her ear. "I heard you calling my name...how you wanted more. Don't worry Princess, I'll give you more," he murmured lowly into her ear as she shivered from the tingles.
"Chat..uh!" (Y/N) whimpered, feeling his hard rod press against her clit, despite all the fabric.

"Speaking of...where is it?" He asked curiously, standing up from her and heading to her stairs.
Dazed, (Y/N) lifted herself up onto her arms. "Where is what?"
"Your toy," he responded, searching around her bed and finding it tucked near her big cat pillow.
(Y/N)'s cheeks reddened even more from his answer. He walked back over to her and climbed onto the chaise lounge on top of her, locking his lips with hers once more. His hand slowly moved down and slid under her skirt, touching her bare leg and sliding up to her thigh.
(Y/N) felt a bit shy, never experiencing this before. But, she felt comfortable with Chat, he had always been there for her and she wanted him now.
Chat's fingers fiddled with the button and the vibrator whirred to life, making them both jump from surprise. They giggled softly and he moved his lips down to her neck, wanting to inhale her scent as he was going to take care of her. He gently pressed the buzzing vibrator against her clothed pussy and she breathed in, opening her legs slowly. Chat gently started sucking on her neck as he pressed the vibrator harder against her clit, wondering how he was so collected. This was the first time he was doing something like this and it felt so surreal. He was finally acting upon his fantasies and she was letting him do this. After that night when he caught (Y/N) with the vibrator, he started researching; how to use a vibrator, what specifically it was for...He obviously cleared his history after but he was glad that he knew what to do with it.

The pressure caused (Y/N)'s body to jolt as her mouth opened in surprise. "Ah! Chat!" She whimpered, her eyebrows raising as her hands felt around for something to grasp. Her hand suddenly found his tail and she pulled on it, bringing him closer to her.
He chuckled against her skin as he started to move the vibrator in a circular fashion around her clit. Yes, he definitely wasn't regretting his researching session.
(Y/N) gasped as her back arched. "Fuck!"
Chat moved up and rested his forehead against (Y/N). She looked so goddamn vulnerable, he couldn't believe she was letting him make her this way.
(Y/N) wrapped her other hand around Chat's neck as he positioned the vibrator between their crotches. He bit her lip gently as his hips grinded against hers, letting her feel the buzz on her clit as well as how hard she was making him.

She was feeling pure ecstasy now as his scent enveloped her. Chat was focusing on her pleasure, wanting to see her body succumb to the feelings. He leaned down to her ear and let her listen to his heavy breathing, moving against her. Her body shivered at his quiet grunts, knowing damn well how restricting that suit was for him.

"It's okay, Princess," he whispered against her ear, starting to move faster. "I've got you."
Something suddenly erupted inside of (Y/N) as his hot breath tickled her ear. "Ah! Fuck...Chat.... I'm...I'm-" she whimpered, her body slightly jolting against him. Surges of pleasure shot through (Y/N)'s legs, her body occasionally seizing as she rode the wave. Masturbating felt so good, but having someone else please you was another level.

(Y/N)'s body slowly relaxed on the seat and Chat removed the vibrator between their legs. He kissed her lips gently as she smiled goofily. "D-damn...you...you do this often?" She asked dazedly, struggling to speak.
He smirked softly and leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "No."
They both laid there for a minute as he tried to think of anything but his throbbing cock. Yes, he wanted her, but he wanted to focus on her tonight. Plus, there was no way he could without de-transforming, and that was off the table.
"Chat?" He heard her ask softly.
"Yes?"
"Can you stay for a little longer?"
Chat smiled into her hair, so happy that she didn't want him to leave. He really didn't want to go.
"Yes, of course. But let's hang out in your bed? It's a little cramped here," he said, making her nod as they slowly got up.
(Y/N) headed over to her mirror and looked back at Chat. "Can you help me with the zipper?" She asked shyly.
Chat nodded quickly as he tried to remain composed. "Of-" he squeaked and then cleared his throat. "Of course."
He walked up behind (Y/N) and took her zipper, slowly sliding it down her dress. (Y/N) watched Chat through the mirror, thinking of how cute he looked as he tried to stay composed.
"There," he said, leaning forward and giving her a gentle kiss on her bare shoulder. "Let me know if there's anything else you need help with."

(Y/N) watched Chat as he walked up her stairs to get to her bed. She was surprised but grateful that he was such a gentleman. She started slipping out of her dress as Chat laid down in her bed. He rested his hands behind his head and stared up at the ceiling. He really wanted to look at her, to see her beautiful body underneath...but he held back. His horny brain was saying one thing, but he knew what the right thing to do was. Nonetheless, there was nothing wrong about him thinking about it...

After a minute, (Y/N) had finished changing into a tank top and shorts and walked up the stairs to join Chat. As she saw Chat there, staring up at the ceiling, her eyes landed on the big bulge that protruded out from suit. (Y/N) averted her eyes as she bit her lip.
"I'm sorry...that I can't help you with that," she said shyly, never experiencing this before.
"Huh?" Chat asked looking over at her and then down at his bulging cock. "Shit-" he said, grabbing a pillow nearby and covering his crotch. "Don't worry about it, it'll go away soon."
(Y/N)'s cheeks pinked as she carefully crawled into the bed beside him. She slowly cuddled close to him and he smiled, wrapping his arms around her. (Y/N)'s face nuzzled into his neck as she closed her eyes.

So...he managed to win her over, but it was against his plan as he wanted to get her as Adrien. Maybe he would have achieved if he'd been able to control himself as Chat. He closed his eyes and nuzzled his nose into her hair, wanting to be engulfed in her sweet scent.

Chat's ears suddenly picked up the front door opening downstairs. "(Y/N)?" (Y/N)'s mom called, footsteps starting up the stairs. "Are you okay? I tried calling you..."
(Y/N)'s eyes shot open as she realized she was about to get caught. She quickly sat up, threw a blanket over Chat and stuffed her cat body pillow on top of him as his yelp of surprise became muffled. Her trap door opened suddenly as Sabine poked her head in. "I'm okay mom!" (Y/N) said loudly, waving to her mom. "I'm sorry, my phone died...and I couldn't bear to see Nathaniel again."
Sabine nodded. "Oh I know sweetheart. I'm just glad you're okay, I'll be heading back over to the dance now to finish helping with your father. Charge your phone and call me if you need anything!" She said, waving goodbye and closing the trap door.
(Y/N) breathed out as she fell back into her bed, so thankful that she wasn't caught.
"Can I come out now?" Chat asked, his voice muffled by the blanket and pillow.
(Y/N) giggled as she pulled the layers off of his face, seeing his frazzled hair. "Sorry kitty," she said, hiding a smile as she kissed Chat's nose.
"You actually look really cozy in there, I think I'll join you," the girl chuckled and crawled under the covers, cuddling up to him and relaxing in his arms.

Chapter 9: Risk

Chapter Text

Going to school during the day, pleasuring (Y/N) at night, Adrien almost felt like he was living the dream. But that was the thing...almost. It had been about two weeks since the night of the Garden Dance and Adrien was dealing with two problems. Of course, Adrien felt so happy that he managed to land (Y/N), even if it was as Chat Noir, but he was starting to grow more discontent by the day.

The first problem was that he was severely backed up and horny. Sure, he could hurry home in his spare time and whack one out, but it was severely displeasing after spending an hour making (Y/N) feel good. She had attempted touching him during their sessions, kissing his neck and rubbing his cock over his suit, but he would always pull her hand away. It would just be torture, considering that she couldn't follow through with him and help him finish. He had no choice; his Chat Noir suit stood in the way.

He was happy about one thing though. The more he pleased her, the better he got. He could make her cum in as little as 10 minutes now, figuring out exactly what her sweet spots were and what words turned her on the most. Yet, he preferred to take it slow; he loved watching her eyes plead for him to quicken his hand. He never slid his fingers inside of her because of his claws, but she also told him that she wasn't ready for that step yet. So, he just got really good at playing with her clit.

His second problem was much harder to deal with than the first. She was so goddamn sexy and he wanted her all to himself, night and day. As his sexual dissatisfaction grew, so did his possessiveness. Sure, he was glad that he got to be with her at all, but how could he treat her like a friend as Adrien while he was secretly making her wildest fantasies come true as Chat Noir? After seeing how her vulnerable body trembled in pleasure from his hands, it was agony acting like she was just a friend at school. Not to mention how irritated he was getting from Lila and Chloe. They were constantly cockblocking him whenever he would try to get (Y/N) all to himself. They would always be overstepping Adrien's boundaries and draping their arms over him, giving (Y/N) the wrong idea and pushing her away.

All of Adrien's hopes were riding on the presentation he had to do with (Y/N). They had two weekends left before their project was due so he was hoping that would be enough time to get her to fall in love with him again...that is, in his civilian form this time. Currently, his visits were limited to nights because he couldn't be Chat Noir at school, but Adrien would be able to spend time with (Y/N) whenever he wanted. Albeit that it would be outside of his Chinese lessons, piano lessons, fencing and modelling.

Chat woke up Friday morning with (Y/N) snuggled up into his chest. He looked down at his suppressed morning wood and moved his hips a little, trying to get comfortable. After a while of trying to ignore it, he sighed and pulled out his metal rod, checking the time: 6:29am. If he left now, he would have a little under 30 minutes to himself to get rid of this raging boner. Not that he needed that much time; picturing (Y/N)'s face full of pleasure and remembering her scent was enough to make him cum in under 5. Still, it would be good to be back a little early so that he could work on some homework. He had gotten so wrapped up in pleasing (Y/N) during the night that he started slacking in his studies. He still had to finish his half of the research for his presentation with (Y/N); he couldn't afford to make her any more annoyed with his civilian form for not contributing to the project. But, he also couldn't tell her that he had to leave for homework. He couldn’t risk her picking up on the fact that they could be going to the same school. He hated keeping all these secrets, but it was too late now.

Chat slowly started moving his arm out from behind (Y/N)'s head and began to get up from the bed.
"Mm.." (Y/N) stirred and sleepily began to open her eyes. "Chat? You're leaving now?" She croaked in her morning voice, rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah...I have to go now," he said softly, reaching his hand over to move (Y/N)'s bangs out of her eyes.
"What time is it?" She mustered, looking around for her phone as he stood up off the bed.
Chat looked at the time on his rod again, feeling guilty for leaving so early. "6:31..."
(Y/N) furrowed her brows as that was much earlier than she expected. "But you usually leave around 6:55," she said and sat up, looking at him. "Why are you leaving earlier?"
Chat looked away as he scratched the back of his head. "Um..I.."
(Y/N)'s gaze fell down on his crotch and her cheeks pinked, seeing the bulge from beneath his suit. "Oh...I understand," she said, laughing shyly. "I never see you take care of it so I kind of forgot you did that," she said, biting her lip.
Chat's cheeks reddened as well as she hit the bullseye. "Sorry, I wish I didn't have to. Then I could stay longer..." he said and leaned down to kiss her forehead again.
(Y/N) closed her eyes at the kiss and smiled sleepily. Before Chat was able to pull away, however, her hand grabbed his bell and she looked up at him. "I want to help you."
Chat's eyes widened, caught off guard from her words. He then laughed off his surprise and stood back up. "God, I wish you could. But remember, this suit-"
"-You can take the suit off..." (Y/N) said, looking up at him lustfully.
Chat met her statement with a pause, as if he were considering it. All of the blood had rushed down to his dick, so he was not in a state to make such difficult choices.

Eventually, Chat pulled out is metal stick and sighed. "You know I can't. It would put you in danger...and Ladybug would kill me."
(Y/N) raised herself up onto the bed, balancing on her knees as she locked her lips onto Chat's. She started feeling his hesitancy melt into passion and so she gently tugged on his bell, pulling him down and eventually getting him to lie down onto his back.
"(Y/N)-" Chat said nervously, his lips muffled by hers.
(Y/N) moved over to his cat ear and gently kissed it. "Relax..." she whispered, making it twitch from the tingles.
Chat wanted to...he wanted to so fucking badly that it hurt. But he couldn't. This is exactly the reason why he needed to get her as Adrien, so that they could be together and do intimate things for the both of them.

Right before he was able to stop her, he watched (Y/N) lean over the edge of the bed and open a drawer. He looked at her curiously as she pulled out a long piece of black silk fabric. She carefully started to tie it around her head and Chat raised his eyebrows. "What are you doing?"
"I am going to please you while keeping your identity a secret."
"What? I- um-" Chat stuttered as (Y/N) crawled up and sat on his crotch. She rested her finger on his lips to hush him for a second, moving it over to then cup his cheek.
"Chat...I want to make you feel good. You've done so much for me and I can see that you want it too," she said, looking deeply into his eyes. "I promise...I wont be able to see a thing," (Y/N) said softly, hoping that he would believe her. She was Ladybug after all and knew they had to keep their identities a secret, but she couldn't tell him that.

After a moment of contemplation, Chat breathed out shakily. "Okay."
(Y/N) smiled excitedly as she kissed his lips, feeling honoured that he could trust her. She pulled down the fabric over her eyes and adjusted it, making sure that she wouldn't be able to see a thing. Then, she felt his chest with her hand and leaned her head down, beginning to kiss his neck. She felt him begin to relax and her heart fluttered, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. She had never done anything like this before, and now she was going to do it blindfolded.

(Y/N) moved down slowly and rested her hand on Chat's bulge, beginning to rub it. Chat breathed in slowly as he couldn't believe that they were really doing this, it was so risky, but also the sexiest thing he could imagine. He had been wanting her so bad and he didn't know what to do.
"Come on Chat...don't be shy..." (Y/N) said lustfully, her hand rubbing the bulge on his suit.

Chat's cheeks reddened and he was glad that she couldn't see his face. He quickly checked the time again on his metal rod: 6:36am; they still had time. With a shaky breath, Chat looked up at the ceiling. "Claws in."

(Y/N) gasped softly as the leather under her fingers suddenly turned into denim. They were really doing this, this was actually happening... Her hand felt around for his zipper and once she found it, she started to slowly pull it down.
(Y/N) frowned suddenly as she touched him over his boxers. "You've become softer."

Adrien hid his face in his hands from embarrassment. "I'm just nervous," Adrien said quietly, his hands muffling his voice. "I'm detransformed and I've never had a girl touch me like this before," he said, suddenly regretting it as he realized how much of a virgin he sounded right now.
(Y/N) smirked as she tilted her head. "Oh? No girl has touched you like this..?" She asked, feeling good that she was the only one. When she realized that her teasing was making it worse, she carefully stood up off the bed and started to wiggle out of her pajama pants. From the way he touched her, she concluded that he was an ass guy, which meant that she knew exactly what to do.

Before he could ask questions, she crawled back over to Chat and slowly sat down onto his chest, facing away from him. His breath quickened as her plump ass sat right in front of him, her red lacy thong covering just enough to make him wonder.

(Y/N) slid her fingers under his boxers and the two slightly gasped at the contact. As she slowly wrapped her fingers around his shaft, she felt him get harder in her hand and she smiled, starting to move her hand up and down. "Touch me, Chat," she whispered, wanting his hands on her. Her words were quickly met with his hands on her cheeks, his cock growing in her pumping hand. "Chat..." (Y/N) whispered breathlessly, "You're getting bigger..."
Adrien smirked as he squeezed her juicy cheeks, playing with her. "You didn't think that was all of me, now did you, Princess?"

(Y/N) bit her lip as her hand began to quicken, feeling herself start to become wet. Fuck, she did think that it was all of him, so she was pleasantly surprised. Feeling an overwhelming urge to please him, she moved down and gently licked his tip, her hand holding his base so that his cock would stay steady. This boy has pleased her every day for two weeks and she felt like she wanted to do the same for him. Her lips wrapped around his tip as she slowly took him in her mouth, earning a groan from him.

Adrien couldn't believe that this girl, the one he adored, was sucking his cock right now. To think, he could have been at home in this moment, finishing himself off and missing this. "(Y/N)..." he said lowly, the visual of her ass and the feeling of her mouth giving him total ecstasy.

As he finished growing and (Y/N) started to get used to his size, (Y/N) began to speed up, her head bobbing as he felt her tongue run across his shaft. Adrien's head fell back on the pillow as he started up at her ceiling, feeling her worship his cock. "Fuck...(Y/N)..." Adrien whispered lowly, he never thought it would feel like this.
In an attempt to do something, his fingers gently ran across the lace on her panties, outlining her beautiful curves.
"Put them in," (Y/N) whimpered, giving her mouth a break as her hand started to pump him.

Adrien widened his eyes as he realized that she had never asked that of him before. Not needing to be told twice, he ran his fingers down between her cheeks and then pulled the strap aside, exposing her to him. His cock suddenly throbbed as he saw her cute pussy, already wet from what she was doing to him. Fuck...he wanted to take her right now, but all in due time, he thought. His fingers gently teased her folds and moved over to her entrance. Remembering about the clit, he moved his thumb over to it while slowly starting to slide one finger inside of her. (Y/N) let out a small moan as Adrien started to feel her walls relax, opening up and letting him slide in. He slowly started sliding in a second finger as his thumb moved over her clit, feeling entranced by her flower. He listened to her sweet moans as his fingers slowly moved inside of her, his fingers coated in her nectar.

(Y/N) had moved down again to continue sucking him, licking up the precum that was coming from his tip. The lewd sounds that she was making while pleasing his shaft was only adding to the pleasure. Remembering the time, he gently pulled his fingers out of her and squeezed her cheeks once more. "Turn around," he ordered. "I want to see your face, Princess. I'm going to watch you suck me."

(Y/N)'s body melted as she felt herself become even wetter. She was a sucker for when he took control, literally. She wasn't expecting him to still dominate her while she pleased him. Damn, she was going to have to take care of herself later.

(Y/N) turned around so that she was now facing him, the only thing between them was the blindfold that was covering her eyes. She placed his tip right back into her mouth and he breathed out, watching his pulsing cock slide between her pretty lips. Suddenly, she felt his strong hand slide through her hair and gently pushed her head down, moving her head rhythmically so that he could come closer to the edge. Adrien's breathing started to get heavier as he moved her, wishing that he could just tear that blindfold off and stare into her innocent eyes as his cock slid in and out of her mouth. As he moved her head down as deep as she could go, she felt him gently push her even lower, feeling his cock slip into her throat. Adrien let go and (Y/N) pulled away coughing a little as she had never gone that deep before. Adrien looked down at her as he smirked, his thumb gently running across her bottom lip. "We'll get there one day, Princess."

(Y/N)'s heart fluttered as she heard his words. Fuck, why was he making her so wet...She couldn't go to school like this, she was going to be all hot and bothered.
Shit, the time, she remembered. She had to hurry up. She leaned her face down again and rest his tip on her glossy lips, kissing it and occasionally running her tongue around it.

"Ah...fuck...I'm getting close (Y/N)..." he said breathlessly, watching her mouth move as she played with his sensitive tip. (Y/N) smiled as she loved being the one that was taking him to the edge this time. Her hand started to pump his cock as she stuck out her tongue, letting his tip rest on it. Adrien's eyebrows raised in pleasure as he watched her prepare for his cum, did she really want this? Ah shit...he couldn't think, he was-

"-cumming..!" Adrien groaned, bolts of pleasure shooting throughout his body. His eyes glued onto (Y/N) as jets of his warm cum started shooting from his tip and landing on her face. Adrien breathed heavily as he watched her pump the cum out of him, her tongue slowly swirling around his tip. "Fuck...." He breathed out, his head falling back on the pillow as he revelled in the pleasure.

"Uh...Chat?" He heard her call him, causing him to smile goofily over at her.
"Yeah, Princess?" He purred, feeling out of it.
"I need a towel...but I can't see..." she said, sitting there shyly.
"Oh, right!" Adrien said, blinking quickly as he tucked himself back into his jeans. He was still so sensitive so just touching himself shot waves of pleasure throughout his legs. "Plagg, claws out!"
As he transformed into Chat Noir quickly jumped over the balcony and headed over to her sink. Opening a drawer and pulling out a towel, he wet it and hurried back up to her.

Chat sat down in front of (Y/N) and carefully undid her blindfold. He then started cleaning her face as she finally looked at him with her beautiful eyes.
"Why did you do that?" He asked shyly, cleaning her up. "I could have just done it in a sock and avoided this mess..."
She hid a smile as she looked away. "I don't know. I kind of wanted to."
As he finished cleaning her face, he leaned over and gave her a gentle and longing kiss. As he pulled away, he looked deeply into her eyes and smiled, wanting to remember this moment. "Well it was really good. Thank you."
(Y/N) smiled in response and then looked over at his metal rod. "What time is it?" She asked curiously.
Chat quickly opened the stick and his eyes widened at the time. "6:57, FUCK," he said, quickly getting up and opening the trap door. Before leaving, however, he leaned down close to (Y/N)'s ear. "I don't want you pleasing yourself, Princess," he said lowly, sending chills down her body. "I want you to spend the whole day thinking of what I'm going to do to you tonight."

Chapter 10: Movies

Chapter Text

Mrs. Bustier's voice droned on in the background as (Y/N)'s attention was elsewhere, her eyes staring off into the distance. Her chin was resting in the palm of her hand as she daydreamed of this morning. She couldn't stop thinking about the way Chat groaned as she sucked him. How his hands moved her head, pushing her down and taking all of him in...
But the thing that sent shivers down her spine were the words he whispered in her ear before leaving: "I want you to spend the whole day thinking of what I'm going to do to you tonight."

(Y/N) shivered slightly as she replayed his voice in her mind, fuck...she couldn't wait. She was so hot and bothered this morning that she struggled to pay attention in class, more so than usual. Chat was becoming her addiction.

Alya gently elbowed (Y/N)'s arm, bringing the girl back to life. That's when she realized that everyone was staring at her, including Mrs. Bustier.
"Um-sorry...what?" (Y/N) blinked as she looked around the room.
The other students snickered as Mrs. Bustier hid a smile. "What is the topic of your presentation with Adrien? The one that is due later this month...?"
Adrien piped up to save (Y/N) from further embarrassment. "Ancient Egypt, Mrs. Bustier." He would have answered earlier, but he also was in the middle of a daydream.

Mrs. Bustier nodded as she wrote on her clipboard and moved on to the next student. Meanwhile, (Y/N)'s cheeks burned as she looked down at the desk. She was so fucking out of it, she had to get it together.

Alya leaned over, a worried expression on her face.
"Are you alright?" She whispered, looking at the girl who had a face as red as a tomato. "You've been acting weird lately. Is something wrong?"
(Y/N) shook her head as she smiled at her best friend. "I'm alright, I just have a lot to think about."
"Like what? Maybe talking about it could help?" Alya asked curiously.
The girl fiddled with the pen in her hand, trying to come up with something believable. "Just...things like the presentation and...the new clothes I'm designing," she said, hoping Alya would stop asking questions. (Y/N) wanted to tell her, but she knew that it would only put everyone in danger. What they were doing was risky and had to be kept a secret.

Alya gave (Y/N) a pitiful look. "You need to get out girl, we haven't hung out in ages."
At the sound of a hangout, Nino turned around to face the girls. "Alya and I have been meaning to watch that new Ladybug action movie that just came out. What are you guys doing this week?"
Adrien's eyebrows raised as he considered the invitation. Meanwhile, Alya brightened as she jumped on the chance. "That's a great idea! Let's go to the movies tonight, get your mind off of what's stressing you for a bit."
(Y/N) smiled at her friend, internally cringing as she didn't know what to say. It's true, she hadn't hung out with Alya in weeks since she's been spending time with Chat...but she really wanted him tonight. His words had been keeping her in suspense all day that it was hard to focus on anything else. No, she couldn't go tonight, she would just make up a lame excuse.
"I don't know Alya..." (Y/N) started, looking over at Adrien for confirmation. "Adrien has such a busy schedule. I don't think he could plan something so last minute-" (Y/N) started, trying to find some sort of reason.
Adrien smiled over at her. "I'm actually free tonight. I would love to come," Adrien said, thankful that Alya was moving them in the right direction. He had to start winning (Y/N) over as his civilian form, and this was the first step. Pretending to be just friends was so painful when all he wanted was to hold her. Of course, he wanted to keep his word and come please (Y/N) tonight, but his whole plan was to get her to fall in love with him as Adrien. This was the perfect opportunity to spend some time with her without it being too awkward.

(Y/N) winced internally as she looked away, on the brink of screaming out that she had plans. But she couldn't, Alya would ask questions and it would be all downhill from there.
"Yay...okay.." she said unhappily as Mrs. Bustier started to call the class's attention back to her.

(Y/N) has told Alya repeatedly that she was no longer interested in Adrien, but her best friend wasn't buying it. Despite the countless times Alya has tried to get (Y/N) to spend time with Adrien, her mind would always float to Chat. She felt so wanted by him, and she wondered if he thought of her the same way that she dreamed of him. She thought of the way he studied her every moment they would spend together, as if he was looking for new ways to please her. Not to mention that his sexual frustration just made him touch her more. It only made her hornier thinking of what he did to satisfy his lust when he would go home.

Although she was head-over-heels for Chat, she couldn't deny the butterflies she still felt with Adrien. It still stung every time Lila and Chloe would try and pull Adrien away, but she learned to just ignore it. Still, she couldn't deny that something had happened between the two of them at the Garden Dance. (Y/N) always wondered how things would have turned out if Nathaniel didn't get akumatized.

******************************************************************************************************************

Later that night, Adrien had finished getting ready for the movies and planned on giving (Y/N) a visit as his alter ego. He had to act like he didn't know that she had plans tonight so she would continue to think that his two personas were different people.

As he transformed, he grabbed his stick to check the time: 5:35. Whilst staring at the screen, Chat's brows furrowed. Something felt different... He raised his hands to look at them, suddenly realizing what was missing.
"Wha-? Where are my claws?" He said aloud, feeling weird that they were suddenly missing. Chat's eyes caught a glint of something on his crotch and he hurried to the bathroom to look in the mirror. As the light caught his suit, a zipper glinted as it rested on his crotch. Chat's cheeks reddened as he curiously tugged on it, quickly realizing that it led straight to his dick. There wasn't even a pair of underwear to conceal it, despite him clearly remembering to put a pair on today. "FUCK..." Chat said in embarrassment, covering his eyes. "Claws in."
Plagg flew out of Adrien's ring and saw his shameful owner, offering a bemused expression.
"What the fuck was that Plagg?" Adrien asked, hoping that there was a way to reverse it.
"What?" Plagg replied teasingly. "The suit adapts to your personality and your needs..."
"I don't need this!" Adrien cried out, nervously running his fingers through his hair.
"From your most recent endeavours, it seems like you might..." Plagg continued, flying around his owner. "I don't know why you're mad at me Adrien. It's not like I have a say in how your suit is supposed to fit you."
Ignoring his annoying kwami, Adrien sighed and transformed again, unwilling to discuss it any further. Hopefully (Y/N) wouldn't notice despite her immaculate attention to detail. He quickly hopped out of his window and started making his way over to (Y/N), planning to be back in about 10 minutes for the movies.

******************************************************************************************************************

That night, (Y/N) was standing in the mirror as she was fixing her hair for the movies. She would be leaving soon and had already written a note for Chat in case he came while she was gone. She hoped that he would come now though, she really wanted to see him before she left.

As if willing him into existence, (Y/N) suddenly heard the roof trap door open as the cat slunk in, resting on (Y/N)'s bed.
"Oh hey! You're just in time," (Y/N) said as she walked over to the stairs. "I'm about to go."
Chat tilted his head in mock surprise. "Oh? Where are you going?"
(Y/N) headed up the stairs and fell down onto her bed beside Chat, letting out a sigh. "To the movies. Alya reeled me into it and I couldn't find an excuse."
Chat laid down as well and looked into the girl's eyes. "You should go. You haven't gone out in so long."
(Y/N) frowned. "Adrien's going to be there."
"Oh? Is this a double date?" Chat teased, resting a hand on her hip.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes as she turned over onto her back. "No. We'll just get through this night and then I'll be all yours again."

Chat lay in silence as he chewed on the inside of his cheek. What could he possibly do to win her over tonight? Or at least start the process...
(Y/N) looked over at Chat and furrowed her eyebrows, wondering why he wasn't responding. "What? I thought you would be happy. I'm choosing you over Adrien. You know? The guy who I've had a crush on for years is now just a friend to me."

Chat diverted his gaze. "(Y/N)...I love being with you, but I can't bear to stand in between you and your happiness."
"What do you mean?" (Y/N) asked and sat up, looking at him as she frowned. "I'm happy with you," she emphasized. "You were always there for me. Especially when he broke my heart."
"I just mean...the night of the Garden Dance, you chose me when it could have been him. The way I-” Chat said and quickly cleared his throat. “The way Nathaniel described it, it seemed like he kissed you. That doesn’t sound like he wanted to be just a friend to you.”
(Y/N) looked down at her fingers, fidgeting with them as she wasn’t expecting this type of conversation. “He almost kissed me. But that doesn’t change the fact that you were there to pick me up when I was broken. I fell in love with you.”

“But-” Chat began, also sitting up. “Wouldn’t you be happier with someone you could do normal things with? I can’t take you out on dates and treat you the way you deserve.”
(Y/N) breathed out in frustration. "Don't say such silly things," she finished, standing up from the bed and walking down the stairs. “I don’t want to talk about this anymore because I am very happy. Now…” Chat watched as she grabbed her purse and walked over to her desk, seeing her tap the drawer with her hand. "I've made something for you," (Y/N) said with a small smile, watching him sit up in the bed with intrigue.

"What is it?" He asked, jumping over the balcony and walking up to her. He rarely got gifts, so the curiosity was killing him already.
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow as she saw his reaction, playing it off in a teasing manner. "You can look now if you want…Or perhaps you would prefer to see it tomorrow night...on me?" She asked, looking up at him with innocent eyes, resting her hand on his chest.
Chat's ears twitched as he only imagined what she meant. She raised herself on her toes to kiss his warm cheek and smiled, leaving him wondering as she left to go to the movies.

Chat's gaze rested on the closed drawer, imagining what could be in there. Should he look? Or should he keep it a surprise? He quickly checked the time, noting that he didn't have much time to stall. He had to be back at his place in a couple of minutes so that his bodyguard could drive him. He had to hurry up...

Chat started to walk away, thinking that he could wait and be surprised tomorrow. After all, he would rather wait until he could see her in it. But as he reached the stairs, he realized he could not spend the whole night hanging out with her and not know. He would be so distracted wondering what it could be. Chat quickly turned back and jerked the drawer open, needing to know. As his gaze fell upon what was inside, Chat bit his lip. He really needed to stop underestimating this girl.

Chapter Text

(Y/N) hid a smile as she fastened her choker necklace around her neck. Fiddling with it, she walked up to Alya who was waiting outside the theatre.

"Hey girl! Oh...cute! Did you make that?" Alya smiled, lifting her finger up and ringing the golden bell that hung from the black choker.
(Y/N) nodded, wondering if Chat had opened her drawer. Alya raised an eyebrow and tilted her head. "Is it for Adrien? Cuz it does look pretty hot..."
"No!" She proclaimed immediately, breathing out a sigh. "Alya...I said I was over Adrien, didn't I?" (Y/N) said, receiving an eye roll from her best friend.
"Alright, alright. If you truly mean it..." She said in disbelief.
The girls were cut off from their argument as a silver car pulled up to a stop in front of them. As Nino and Adrien got out, they offered big smiles to the girls. A little too big, maybe? (Y/N) thought it looked kind of goofy, but maybe Adrien was just excited to get out for once.
"Hey guys! I'm really excited to watch...this-"Adrien started, his voice fading as his eyes landed on (Y/N)'s neck. Was that a bell on a choker?
(Y/N) looked up at Adrien with her innocent eyes and smiled "This...movie?" She finished for him, making him flash a nervous smile and nod.

Chat would have never anticipated what was inside the drawer. His cheeks turned red as his eyes scanned the note: "Theatre hallway, 7:00. Can't wait for you to see it on me ;)".
Chat had to carefully close the drawer and pace around the room. This was so risky, and stupid and...hot. He wanted to, so fucking badly. How could he do it though? If they both leave in the middle of the movie then Alya and Nino would surely notice. He couldn't leave before (Y/N) because then she would ask questions. He would have to leave after (Y/N), transform somewhere private, then detransform and come back before she would even know that Adrien left. But what would he even do about the Nino and Alya equation?

FUCK...this girl was going to be the death of him. Someone was going to piece it all together and Ladybug was going to kill him. But he couldn't leave (Y/N) all alone...well, maybe he could if he claimed he never saw the note...

Chat bit his lip as he stopped pacing. Maybe that was the solution, he was just going to pretend that he never saw her note and play it safe. Chat drew in a shaky breath as he nodded. Yeah, he had to play it safe, it was the right thing to do.

The four of them walked into the theatre as (Y/N) started fiddling with her credit card, looking at the different snack options.
"How about Nino and I share a popcorn and you can share one with Adrien?" Alya offered, raising an eyebrow at (Y/N). (Y/N) breathed out unhappily as she knew what her best friend was doing. Despite all her protesting, Alya just wouldn't believe her. She couldn't even tell her that she was in love with someone else, so she had to put up with this annoyance.
"I kind of want some candy tonight babe...sorry," Nino said awkwardly, earning an elbow in his side from his girl.
"Great!" (Y/N) piped up, glad that this plan failed. "Then I'll just share with you Alya," she said, jumping at the idea and hooking her arm with Alya's. (Y/N) started pulling her mischievous friend to the counter before she was able to come up with any new ideas, ordering a large popcorn with two cokes. Reaching in her purse to pay, (Y/N)’s fingers fumbled and accidentally dropped her card on the carpeted floor. As Adrien moved to help, his eyes suddenly fixated on the sight before him and he froze, watching her lean down to pick it up.

Everything seemed to slow for Adrien as his eyes landed on (Y/N)'s ass. He knew he should look away as Adrien, but the Chat in him continued to watch as (Y/N)'s jeans slightly moved to reveal a black lacy thong. He had checked out her chest of drawers...and that was new. His heart pounded as he felt his jeans start to tighten, the world suddenly speeding up again as (Y/N) stood up and started talking to the worker behind the counter. So it wasn't just the choker, she was actually wearing something for him. A wave of possessiveness came over him, wanting to take her right here right now on that counter.

Not thinking clearly, Adrien scrapped his play-it-safe plan as he pulled Nino aside, away from the girls.
"Woah! What are you-"
"Listen Nino," Adrien said lowly, lust on his mind as he tried to keep himself composed. "I need to leave sometime in the middle of the movie, but I don't want Alya to know."
Nino furrowed his brows as he looked at his best friend. They were bros for life, but he couldn't imagine keeping secrets from his girlfriend. Not only because there were no secrets between them, but also because she was terribly good at finding out when he was lying. "Why does it have to be a secret?" He asked nervously.
"I'm…having stomach problems," Adrien decided to lie, hoping that his friend could keep his fake bowels a secret. "I'm embarrassed, I just don't want anyone to know."
"But what about (Y/N)? She'll notice you leaving."
Adrien sighed as he should have thought this through. "She knows, I just don't want anyone else to know. Please, when I give you the signal, I would appreciate it if you distract her with something so I can leave without her noticing."
Nino sighed and nodded, he supposed this was a good secret to keep. "Alright, you got my word bro. But if she starts asking questions, I don't know how long I can last."
Adrien nodded as the two girls were grabbing their popcorn and drinks and the boys joined them at the counter. Adrien ordered a small bag of popcorn and some water while Nino grabbed a bag of skittles.

The four of them carried their snacks as they headed into the theatre. While walking, Adrien made a mental note of all the exits, figuring out how he was going to pull such a plan. As Alya and Nino sat down, (Y/N) immediately joined her best friend, sitting next to her. Adrien's heart began to sink as he realized that he had to make the hardest choice of tonight. He could sit beside Nino and easily give him the signal, or he could sit beside (Y/N) and start winning her over as Adrien.

The dilemma was killing him as his eyes darted to the two empty seats. Continue the Chat Noir rendezvous nights, or attempt to get her as Adrien...

"Do you want to sit beside (Y/N)?" Alya piped up, looking up at Adrien curiously as her friend poked her to be quiet.
Adrien flashed a smile and nodded. "Of course," he said, heading over to her and sitting down.
Alya leaned over (Y/N), flashing a smile at the boy. "I'm actually not wanting a lot of popcorn, is it okay if we switch, Adrien? You don't mind sharing with (Y/N), right?" Alya asked sweetly, knowing damn well that this sweet, naive boy would accept.

(Y/N)'s gaze shot daggers at her friend as Adrien agreed to the switch.
"What the hell, Alya?" (Y/N) whispered angrily.
"Come on...like I don't remember you fantasizing over sharing your popcorn with him for years..." Alya whispered back sarcastically.

As Adrien overheard, he smirked to himself and looked away. She really had it bad for him...or at least, did. He grabbed some popcorn and kept his gaze aloof, pretending not to hear them.
"What's going on girl? Why are you acting like this?" Alya persisted, looking at her best friend.

As they finished their whispers, (Y/N) turned back to face the screen with an indignant sigh. Adrien bit his lip as he wondered what to say next. Holding out the bag to her, he smiled shyly. "I've already had a lot, you can have the rest."

(Y/N) looked over at Adrien and her anger melted, realizing that she was actually being pretty rude. "No...I'm sorry, we can share. Alya's just pushy, it's nothing to do with you," she said, reaching over to grab a handful and giving him a soft smile.

Trying to move past the awkward silence, Adrien cleared his throat. "We should probably start meeting up to work on our presentation," he said, looking over at her.
"Yeah. We can this weekend? I'm free during the day," (Y/N) said, avoiding eye contact as her heart fluttered at the thought of them alone together. Yes she was with Chat now, but she couldn't control her bodily responses to Adrien.
The boy internally cringed as he knew why she was reserving her nights. In order to actually win her over, he had to start minimizing the amount of time he spent with her as Chat Noir. "Is there any way we could meet during the evening? I have lessons during the day..."

(Y/N) blinked as she recalled his schedule. She had it committed to memory from when she was obsessed with him, so why was he lying?

(Y/N) chewed the inside of her cheek as Adrien studied her, did she know he was bluffing?
"I started playing basketball so I play a bit throughout the weekend afternoons..."
(Y/N) nodded as she diverted her gaze and looked at the screen ahead. "Yeah, alright. I'll make some time for the weekends."

Adrien silently released a breath he didn’t known he was holding. Now that that was out of the way, it was time to start winning her over.
"So-" he began, right as the lights started to dim. Adrien rolled his eyes, of course.
"What?" (Y/N) whispered, looking over at him.
Adrien leaned in close to her ear as the speakers around them became louder. "I was just wondering if you wanted to get some food before we start on our nightly journey of homework," he whispered back.
Tingles shot throughout (Y/N)'s body as the warmth of his breath tickled her ear. Nonetheless, it wasn't changing her mind. If he had asked her a couple weeks ago, she would have been head over heels. Now though, it was just annoying. Sure, he got her body still tingling, but it seemed like he was just playing with her at this point.
"I'm not quite sure of my dinner plans just yet..." she said uncertainly. "I'll let you know?"
Adrien nodded, looking back up at the screen.

They both sat there, watching the moving pictures as they ate their snacks. How was he possibly going to pull this off? She was so distant. It annoyed him as much as it made him love her more. She was so loyal to him as Chat and so she wouldn't even give Adrien the wrong idea. He was even trying to do that stupid thing where their hands touch as they both reach for the popcorn, but it seemed like she was intentionally timing it so that wouldn’t happen.

"(Y/N)...I...I know what you've been doing," he said, looking over at her. His whole being was screaming at him to stop, but he knew it would work. If there was any way to get her closer to him, he needed her to open up.
(Y/N) blinked in confusion as she looked over at him. "I'm sorry?"
"I was shopping by your bakery the other night. I...saw him on your balcony. And then another night I was coming by to work on the project with you and I saw him in your window."
(Y/N)'s heart slowed as she felt her world crumbling around her. If he said something, Hawkmoth would instantly find out and use her to get to Chat. It would be a lose-lose situation since she's also Ladybug.
Adrien rested his hand on her arm as he saw the fear flash across her eyes. "I'm not going to tell anyone. I promise. I just want to make sure that you're okay."
(Y/N) breathed out as she tried to get rid of the shakiness that was spreading throughout her body. "I'm fine. Please don't tell anyone."
"I won't, I swear. I just-...seeing a superhero on a regular basis, that could be risky. I don't want anything to happen to you," he said in concern. Hopefully this will invite her to open up.
(Y/N) give him a little smile as his words started to comfort her. "I'll be okay, thanks Adrien."
Adrien nodded and sat back in the chair, looking back up at the screen. They watched the movie in silence but all he could think about was how the minutes were counting down until the time she had written on the note. Before he knew it, (Y/N) secretly looked down at her phone to check the time, and then moved her arms onto the armrests, about to stand up.

Without thinking, Adrien placed his hand on hers, holding her back. She looked over at him curiously and he gently squeezed her hand.
"Don't go."
(Y/N) blinked in surprise and looked away bashfully. No way did he know what she was getting up for, so why was he acting this way?
"I...have to use the restroom."
Adrien's hand lingered on hers, making her wonder what had gotten into him.
"Right...of course," he said, flustered. He quickly moved his hand away as the other gripped his armrest.

(Y/N) got up from her seat and exited the theatre, leaving Adrien to anxiously jiggle his leg. He checked the time on his phone and quickly turned down the brightness so that the people behind him wouldn't notice. 6:58. He wasn't going, it was too risky. And it would be easier to charm her as Adrien if he didn't show up so much as Chat Noir.

Adrien bit the inside of his cheek as he watched the movie, trying to distract himself.

He checked the time again. 7:03. But she wanted him...

He could pretend he never saw the note.

He checked again. 7:07. She designed herself lingerie, for him...

Adrien rested back into his seat and kept his eyes trained on the screen, watching the action unfold. His jaw tensed.

Fuck it. Adrenaline suddenly shot throughout his body as he grabbed his phone and sent Nino a text. "Now."

As Nino felt the buzz in his pocket, he peeked at the screen and sighed, looking over at Alya lovingly. He kissed her cheek gently which made her turn to him and smile. Pressing his lips to hers, Nino then gave a wave of his hand to Adrien, as if shooing him away. Adrien slid his phone back into his pocket and snuck out of the theatre, looking for a place to transform.

Chapter Text

(Y/N) should have been inside the movie theatre, watching the Ladybug movie with Adrien. Instead, she was standing outside in the hallway, leaning her shoulder up against the wall as she waited for Chat. The girl glanced at her phone again and sighed: 7:12. She was pretty sure that she knew Chat’s personality, so when she left that message, she thought for certain that Chat would read it. Maybe she was wrong.

Her fingers impatiently tapped her phone as the seconds rolled by. If Chat wasn't here in the next few minutes, she would have to go back in, pretending like she actually did go to the bathroom. She’d be a little disappointed though, wanting to finally let loose with Chat. Keeping up this secret was really taking a toll on (Y/N), she felt like she couldn’t be herself anymore with her friends. Now that Adrien knew though, maybe that was about to change. Nevertheless, If Chat actually did end up showing, she wouldn't be able to explain why she was gone for 30 minutes. Even worse, if Adrien wanted to check up on her, she wouldn't know whether to be truthful or not.

An arm suddenly snaked around her waist, pulling her backwards into a warm body. "You called for me, Princess?" A low voice asked, making her tingle from where he touched her.
She turned around and looked at him in a mock angry expression. "You took a very long time...I don't know how I'll be able to explain my disappearance to-" (Y/N) started, her voice suddenly cutting off from Chat's lips on hers. He pulled her behind a corner, hiding them away from any prying eyes. Without a fuss, (Y/N) went along willingly with Chat, relaxing into him.

"You're adorable when you're mad," he smirked, pulling away to gaze longingly into her eyes. Man, he missed this. If he looked at her like this as Adrien, it would just make her squirm in her seat. But as Chat, she returned that gaze, making him feel like he landed the most beautiful girl in the world.

Before she was able to say a word, Chat grabbed the handle to a door that lead to another movie, pulling them inside. As (Y/N) was about to protest, she noticed how empty the theatre was, realizing that it would give them the opportunity to do whatever they wanted. The movie was an action-based one as well, so the multiple scenes of car chases would drown out any sounds.

Chat grabbed (Y/N)’s hand and pulled her up to the seats just above the staircase. If anyone were to come into the theatre, Chat would see them first, which would give them enough time to straighten up.

As Chat sat down in one of the seats, he pulled (Y/N) onto his lap and gently flicked the bell that was hanging from her choker.
"What's this?" He asked, a devilish look gleaming in his eyes.
(Y/N) bit her lip and started unbuttoning her shirt. "I made you something...”
“Oh?” Chat’s eyebrow raised as his hands gently squeezed her hips. He couldn’t keep his hands off of her, wanting to remind her that she was his.
“But it's so dark in here…" she said, frowning slightly.
Chat gently pulled on her shirt to bring her closer, his lips tickling her ear. "Don’t you remember Princess? I can see in the dark.”
(Y/N) shivered slightly as his breath shot tingles down her neck. “Show me,” he almost growled, the lust evident in his voice.
(Y/N) slowly opened her shirt, revealing black, see-through lingerie covering her breasts. The mesh material was coupled with black straps crossing over her stomach, creating an hourglass shape as her sides were exposed. It was as if she had designed the sexiest bodysuit he had ever seen, and being the son of designer, he’d seen many.
“Do you like it?” She asked with a shy smile, knowing damn well what the answer was going to be. “I may have gotten some inspiration from someone special…” she whispered with a smirk, ringing his bell back.
“You’re fucking gorgeous,” Chat whispered to her as his eyes moved over her front, drinking up the view. It was taking a lot of willpower not to rip those jeans off of her hips and see the full beauty of her body encompassed by her designs. Chat’s hands slowly moved down her waist and slid under her waistband, wanting to play with the thong he noticed earlier. Now that he didn't have any claws, he didn't have to worry about squeezing her too hard. The previously innocent girl let out a small moan, the gentle tug of her thong moving against her sensitive clit.
"Shit...(Y/N)," Chat groaned, basking in her scent, beauty and softness. She bounced softly on him, needing to satisfy her throbbing pussy. Her bouncing gave him a good view of her bouncing tits, making him notice her slightly darker nipples through her dark lingerie. His thumb moved over to her right nipple, feeling the stiffness under the fabric. As he played with it, he could feel his stiff shaft press up into her, showing his arousal. Seeing her dressed up in a piece that was meant to represent his suit just got him. He wondered just how sexy she would look if she wore his miraculous.

(Y/N) giggled softly at his wandering hands and moved her own hand down to his crotch to stroke him. Her hand stopped as she felt his suit, realizing that it felt different. "Is this..?" She asked, laughing softly.
Chat blushed hard as he looked away. "I honestly have no idea how it got there."
(Y/N) smiled as she leaned in, her soft breasts pushing up against his chest. He felt her slowly unzip him and pull out his cock, gently stroking him as she looked into his eyes lustfully.
Chat bit his lip as he looked up at her, feeling vulnerable like this. She was actually looking at him while she pumped him, seeing his face as well as his cock. Sure, she had his cock in her mouth before, but this was different…more intimate.

As erotic as this all was, Chat nervously fiddled with his metal staff looped in his belt, wanting to check how long they had been gone for. "-Ngh. (Y/N)...the time..." he groaned, his eyes darting to her tits to get another look.

Without an answer, (Y/N)’s thumb moved over his tip, making Chat stiffen from pleasure. His hand dropped the grip on his staff, unable to function while she was in control of him. She heard his staggered breathing as her thumb circled his tip; she loved bringing him to the edge.
"I was supposed to please you tonight, Princess," he whimpered out. His cock was throbbing as he felt his cum begin to stir up inside him, trying to hold himself back.
(Y/N) moved in close to his ear as he felt her hard nipples push against his chest, her lips gently moving against his ear. "Then please me, Chat. Your kitty's in heat and she needs you to fill her up."

Chat's ears twitched as he heard her words. "Wh-what?" His breath was staggering as he felt her pumping start to bring him to the edge, his load about to explode from his cock.

Just as he wasn't able to hold back anymore, he felt (Y/N) release him from her grasp, making him breathe in shakily as some pre-cum dribbled down his member. He groaned softly as his head fell back on the seat, his cock throbbing in the air as he tried to regain his strength after her little tease. “You…little vixen,” he said lowly, looking back up at her with half-lidded eyes.

Climbing off of him and leaning over the handrail, (Y/N) slightly moved her jeans down to reveal her ass to him, wiggling it slightly as she waited for his warmth.
"You're-you're serious?" Chat asked drunkenly, his eyes landing on her gorgeous ass presenting itself to him.
"Please, fill me Chat," she moaned, looking back at him with the most innocent eyes he’d ever seen.
Chat gulped softly as he stood up from his seat, his hands grasping her hips as he pulled her closer to him. As if he was under her spell, he moved the thong covering her wet pussy aside, watching her entrance ache for him.

Chat squeezed (Y/N)'s ass as his cock throbbed, seeing himself lift slightly as he tensed from the pleasure. He rested his tip to her entrance as he breathed in another shaky breath, trying so hard to keep himself under control.
"Are...are you sure?" He whispered, almost as if it was to himself. He wanted to...so fucking badly, but it felt like there was one thing holding him back, and it was a really strong one.

"Please do it Chat…I need you," she whimpered, her hips slightly moving back on him and causing him to move away.

Before she turned around in confusion, she felt his hands gently pull her hips down, making her sit on his face. "Chat!" She whispered in surprise, feeling his tongue start to move against her folds. Her mouth opened in pleasure as her fingers moved through his hair, stroking his head.
"Good kitty..." she whispered, her eyebrows raising as she felt his tongue move with a steady pressure over her clit.

As she relaxed into him, she felt two of his fingers slide inside of her, making her walls adjust around him. She looked down to occasionally glance into his eyes, feeling so open for him.

With incredible patience and consistency, Chat’s tongue flicked against her pearl until (Y/N) was ready. He was bringing her to the edge just as another car chase scene started on screen. Chat's fingers gently stroked her inside as her knees buckled from beneath her. "I'm...I'm cumming!" She moaned loudly, gripping the handrail as she trembled on top of him.

Chat’s eyes closed as he felt her explode all over him. He didn’t know if his senses were heightened here as well, but god, did she smell good. He was in love with everything about her, and her smell alone could get him hard. It’s like she had unlocked a new kink for him.

"God...Chat..." she said weakly, feeling him move from under her and hold her up beside him.
"You good?" He asked, quickly wiping off his mouth and giving her a playful smile.
"Yeah..." she said, giggling as if she was drunk. "But...I thought-...I thought you wanted me?" She asked, a sudden sadness in her voice.
Chat's ears drooped as he looked into her sad eyes. "I do...I really do. You're so beautiful, (Y/N). I just can't do it here. Our first time? Not...not like this," he said, his eyes averting her gaze as he realized he wasn't telling her the whole truth.
"Oh, okay," she said weakly, slowly pulling her pants back on. Chat had already managed to tuck himself away and by now, his throbbing cock had started to settle.

‘He wanted to be with her, but not like this,’ he had said. And by this, he meant not in his suit. Sure, it was extremely erotic to do things while he was in it, but he wanted their first time to be a connection. He really wanted (Y/N) to know who he truly was and accept him, but since he could never tell her his identity, at least, he figured, he wanted to be with her as Adrien. He could be in a real relationship with her as Adrien, so he wanted their first time to be something real too.

(Y/N)’s eyes almost popped out as her phone began to ring. "Shit! Alya's calling me!" (Y/N) said worriedly, shaking Chat out of his thoughts. "See you, Princess," he said as he left her with a kiss on her forehead.

As he was off, (Y/N) quickly buttoned up her shirt and hurried out of the theatre, answering the call. "Hey! Alya...everything okay?"
She heard her best friend sigh on the other end. "You tell me girl! You've been gone for ages and I got worried! Where did you go?"
(Y/N) decided to stick to her original story, hoping it was believable enough. "I was..uh…I was in the bathroom?"
"No....I checked in the bathroom. You weren't in there," Alya said walking around the corner and finally spying (Y/N). The girls hung up as Alya joined her frazzled friend with an inquisitive look.
(Y/N) blinked as she tried to come up with another excuse. "I mean...I was in the men's bathroom! Silly me, I got all confused," she said, giggling awkwardly at her two friends in front of her. Her brain was barely functioning after that orgasm, her skin still sizzling from Chat’s touch.
As if on cue, Adrien walked out of the men's bathroom and his eyes widened, seeing them all standing out in the hallway staring at him. So much for his disappearance being a secret. "Is...everything okay?" He asked slowly, joining them.
"Yeah!" Alya said, glancing over at (Y/N). "We just found out that (Y/N) mistook the men's bathroom for the lady's," she said, eyeing Adrien's reaction.
Adrien glanced over at (Y/N), knowing exactly what was going down. Little did she know that he was in on it. "Umm....yeah. When I saw her washing her hands, I thought I was the one in the lady’s bathroom!" He joked, making her force out a laugh as well. (Y/N) was too on edge to wonder why he was lying for her, deciding to revisit it later.

Alya sighed as she threw her eaten bag of popcorn into the garbage. "Well, the movie was great. It's a shame you guys missed the ending. The spy ended up being-"
"No!" Both (Y/N) and Adrien cried, stopping Alya. Despite never being able to finish watching a movie, they did not want the ending to be spoiled.

Alya smirked and rolled her eyes, turning to walk out of the theatre with Nino. “Those two are seriously made for each other," she chuckled, making Nino laugh.
“Why are you acting so high and mighty?” Nino smiled devilishly, looking over at Alya. “We were too distracted to even hear who the spy was!” He chuckled, earning a friendly punch from his girl.

Chapter Text

When Adrien woke up in his bed the next morning, there was no denying it. He felt like utter shit. But it was a feeling that he couldn't let go of, no matter how he looked at it. He was so close to feeling (Y/N)'s walls clamp around him yesterday, feeling her warmth surround him as his ears picked up on her moaning his name. Part of him regretted not going in, not living a little and just feeling her. God, his name on her lips was enough to bring him to the edge. She designed and wore an outfit just for him, and he went on and basically rejected her yesterday. Every time he thought back to that moment in the cinema, how her hard nipples were evident through her body suit, it made his cock throb.

But every time he started touching himself, another wave of guilt crashed over him. How could he take advantage of (Y/N) like that? Where she was giving her whole self to him and he couldn't do the same for her? She could never know his identity so how could he touch her like a lover when she didn't even know who he was?

Adrien padded over to his bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face, his mind a swirling vortex. What to do, what to do? He couldn't give her everything, and giving her half of him was like giving her nothing at all.
His head hung over the bathroom sink, the faucet still running. His fisted hand slammed down onto the counter as the vibration caused his toothbrush holder to fall over. He cried out in frustration as his hand swung out forcefully and shut off the faucet. He grabbed a towel and slapped his face dry, throwing the towel onto the ground as he walked out of the bathroom, breathing in frustration.

Sensing his owner's distressed thoughts, Plagg flew out in front of Adrien's face with an empathetic look. "What's wrong?" He asked quietly.
"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!" Adrien yelled out, his back hitting the wall as he slid down, his hands covering his face.
"Can't do what?" Plagg flew over, sitting on his owner's knee and looking up at his covered face.
"I cant-..." His voice cracked as he looked at his kwami with tearful eyes. "I can't be with her as Chat. I can't be with her as Adrien. I can't be with her at all," Adrien breathed out, biting the inside of his cheek. "I'm always hiding something and she doesn't deserve someone who can't tell her the whole truth."
Plagg looked up at his owner in remorse. Unfortunately, that's just what the owners of the kwamis had to go through. Complete secrecy to ensure that nothing could be used against the super heroes.
"I thought that trying to get her as Adrien would fix the problem, but it won't. I'll still have secrets," Adrien said, resting his head back on the wall. "At least as Chat she understands that I have to keep my identity a secret. As Adrien, she won't know why I would be late to hang out with her, or completely disappear on our dates. I would have to lie to her, just like I lie to everyone else."
Plagg looked down, not knowing what to say. This is the biggest sacrifice of all. "Why can't you keep being with her as Chat Noir then? She seem's okay with that."
"But shes not! I know she's not," he let out in frustration. "Maybe at first she was okay with it. But she can't live a normal life while seeing Chat Noir. She needs to go out and be with her friends and instead I'm forcing her to stay inside at night while she's lying to everyone around her."
"So what are you going to do?" Plagg asked, not even sure what to advise. "You could keep seeing her as Chat, or you could see her as Adrien."
"I could tell her," Adrien said simply, causing the kwami's eyes to widen.
"You can't do that!!"
"Why not?" Adrien's head fell forward to look at his kwami, defeat in his eyes. "I'm tired of all these secrets Plagg. I feel like I can trust her."
"You can't tell her!" The Kwami screeched and flailed his tiny hands. "Anything could happen! Someone could overhear, see, she could tell someone. If word gets to Hawkmoth then-"
"No one's going to find out, Plagg. I'll tell her in her room and it'll be just between me and her."

The two were suddenly interrupted by a knock on Adrien's door. "Adrien, breakfast is ready," he heard Nathalie's voice call out, and he responded, letting her know that he would be down there soon.

So then he was going to do it then, he told himself. After school, he would meet with (Y/N) in her room and show her the truth.

*************************************************

“Do you…think that’s a good idea?” (Y/N) asked hesitantly.
Adrien quickly shook himself out of his thoughts, realizing that he was basically staring into (Y/N)’s eyes this whole time.
“Uh…yeah. Yeah, that sounds good,” he mustered, looking away.
“Are you sure?” (Y/N) tilted her head, looking at him inquisitively. The nervous tapping of her pen stopped as she studied the lost boy in front of her.
He nodded and looked down at the paper assignment on his desk. That’s when he recalled that the teacher had given them class time to work on this project. The deadline was coming up pretty soon as they were going to present next week. Essentially, they had the weekend and few week days.
“So…Egypt!” Adrien reminded himself, blowing out a breath and looking at the first question.
(Y/N) looked at him in confusion and set down her own clipboard, half of the responses already filled in. Damn, how long had he been out for?
“Something’s going on. And you obviously can’t focus so go on Adrien, tell me what’s wrong,” (Y/N) urged, looking at him.

Adrien sighed and rubbed his eye. “I’m sorry, my head hasn’t been in it today. I promise I’ll stay focused. You don’t deserve a partner who can’t put in half the work.”
“Adrien…” (Y/N) said, searching his green eyes. “Just tell me, what’s going on?”
Looking into those eyes was like looking into the ocean. It was the most beautiful part about her, he realized. “I…” he stuttered, the secret playing on his lips. “I think it’s really dangerous that you keep seeing Chat Noir,” he decided to say. Maybe he could convince her that a life with a guy that has secrets is not so great after all.
(Y/N)’s eyes teared off of his and she looked away. “I thought you weren’t going to tell anyone,” she answered quietly.
“I’m not. I just think you deserve to have a normal life,” he responded, his lips thin.
(Y/N)’s nostrils flared as she fidgeted with her pen. “Yeah, well sometimes life gives us happy things wrapped up in ugly realities.”
Adrien blinked, wondering where this was coming from.
(Y/N) brought her gaze back to his, her eyes not giving him the comfort they once were. “What I’m trying to say is that I understand what situation I’m putting myself in. And if I choose that it’s too much then that’ll be my decision,” she responded, putting her pen down.
“But wouldn’t you want to be with someone that wouldn’t be hiding anything from you? You’re basically trusting a stranger.”
“He’s not-!” (Y/N) said in a raised voice, suddenly realizing her noise level and bringing her voice down. “He’s not a stranger. Just because I can’t know everything about him, doesn’t mean that I can’t love the parts of him that I do know.”

Adrien looked down at the questions on the table. Love? She loved his Chat Noir side? His heart jumped as he felt more sure of his decision.
“I’m sorry if I made you upset. I just wanted to make sure you’re okay,” Adrien said quietly, giving her a reassuring smile.
(Y/N) nodded gently and brought her attention back to the paper. “Okay so for question 1 I said…”

*********************************

“I still don’t think you should do this Adrien…” Plagg said worriedly. Adrien was standing in front of his mirror at home, mustering up the courage to tell his love who he truly was. “If it was okay for other’s to know, then I would be able to say your name to other people!”
“I can trust her, I know I can,” Adrien said to Plagg, a bit to himself as well. “Claws out.”

As (Y/N) heard the gentle tap come from above, she was almost overjoyed. That conversation with Adrien today psyched her out and she was just looking forward to feeling Chat’s comfort. Plus, now with his new zipper, who knew what kind of spicy things they would get up to.
“Come in!” (Y/N) called out, taking her hair out of her ponytail and running a brush through. She suddenly felt warm hands rest on her hips and she hummed happily, turning around and looking up at Chat.
“Hey,” she said happily, lifting herself up on her toes and giving his nose a small kiss.

Chat smiled softly, almost sadly, but he was able to bring himself back. “I…needed to talk to you.” He said, his voice husky. “But I need you to sit down first.”
(Y/N) nodded and stepped back, sitting down onto her chaise lounge. “What is it?”
“I’ve been…thinking. And it’s been really hard to figure things out, but I think I’ve got it.”
(Y/N) tilted her head as she looked at Chat inquisitively.
“Can I trust you?”
(Y/N) blinked, taken aback by the question. “If you need to tell me something, I promise it’ll stay between just the two of us. I haven’t told anyone about this. Well, Adrien knows but that wasn’t my fault! He just-” she began to ramble, getting cut off by Chat’s soft chuckle.
“(Y/N)…I want to show you who I am beneath the mask.”
(Y/N)’s eyes widened as her mouth fell open, unable to speak.
“It’s okay (Y/N),” Chat said with a soft smile. “I trust you and I know you would never tell anyone. I want to be honest with you because I want to be with you, beyond this, beyond just your bedroom.”
(Y/N) was still mute as her head shook from disbelief, not knowing what to do. “No-…I- I can’t,” she tried to say, her eyes wild as her thoughts felt like scrambled eggs in her head.
“Plagg, claws in,” Chat uttered, closing his eyes as his suit suddenly vanished.

Adrien was too scared to look. Would she be happy? Sad? Hopefully not disgusted…
His ears picked up on a shuddering breath, a gentle sob emanating in front of him. He opened his eyes to see (Y/N) still sitting, with her hands plastered over her eyes.
He hurried towards her and knelt down, his warm hands holding her arms. His warmth didn’t seem to calm her, actually causing her to become rigid.
“(Y/N), what’s wrong?” He asked worriedly, scared to hear about her thoughts.
“I can’t,” (Y/N) whispered, keeping her hands over her eyes.
“What do you mean?” Adrien asked, watching her face as her hands didn’t budge.
“I can’t know! Dammit Chat, you can’t show me!!” She cried out, her voice cracking as he noticed a tear drip onto her lap.
“But I want to be with you. I trust you!” Adrien urged, gently pulling on her arm.
Her hand faltered, and then they both fell down, but the stubborn girl kept her eyes shut, tears streaming down her face.
“You…you don’t want to know who I am?” Adrien asked sadly, pulling his hands away.
“We don’t get to know,” (Y/N) said angrily, the salty taste of her tears dancing on her lips. She was partly mad at him for putting her in this situation, but mainly mad at the world. If she wasn’t Ladybug, she definitely would have looked. But being Ladybug and knowing her partner’s identity was a very dangerous game, and she’s already been stupid enough.

There was a long silence between them, long enough that it made (Y/N) wonder if he was still there.
“I can’t do this anymore,” she heard Chat say, causing her heart to break. “I want to be with you, and showing you was the only way I knew how. But you don’t want to know, or…can’t know.”
More silence. And with every beat, (Y/N) felt her shattering heart pounding in her ears.
“I can’t keep taking you away from your life, (Y/N). I have you lying to your friends and family just to spend time with me holed up in your room.”
“Don’t I get a say in this??” (Y/N) burst out, her chin wobbling as she realized what he was doing.
“Yes. But I do too. And I can’t do this to myself either.”
A breath escaped (Y/N)’s mouth as she felt a gentle kiss on her forehead, causing her tears to spill down her cheeks.
“I’ll always be with you,” she heard him say, and then he was gone.

Chapter Text

Adrien straightened the lapels on his jacket, the red lights flashing across his face as his hard eyes scanned the crowd. He had tracked (Y/N) down to "Whisper Club," which was arguably the sluttiest club in Paris. There were women in fishnet tights and 8-inch heels pole dancing on the stage above. A crowd of horny people danced, or more so, grinded below.
"You didn't think twice when your girlfriend told you they'd be here tonight?" Adrien yelled over the music, looking over at Nino furiously.
"I didn't know about the reputation, man! If I had, I obviously wouldn't have let Alya go," he called back, warranting an eye roll from Adrien. Nino had as much control over Alya as Adrien had over (Y/N).
He sighed frustratedly, the people in the crowd so erotically close. "They might as well be having an orgy," he called out angrily, his eyes scanning the crowd as he searched for the girls.

The music suddenly switched over to Rihanna's "Breakin' Dishes," and the girls squealed as the DJ released foam from the ceiling, coating the crowd in shiny bubbles. That's when Adrien caught sight of two figures dancing infuriatingly close next to the bar. There (Y/N) was, grinding up on a stranger as his hands were gripping her waist. Alya danced on the sidelines and was cheering on her best friend.

Adrien's pupils dilated as he watched the scene unfold in front of him. His dark eyes were a premonition to the dark thoughts that suddenly started swirling around his head, most of which ended with that man no longer existing.
His lips tightened as he suddenly realized what (Y/N) was wearing; black high-heel boots, dark jean shorts which barely covered her ass, and her top was enveloped by a black body suit, more specifically, the body suit that she had modelled after his alter ego.

Without a word to Nino, he cut across the crowd, walking straight through as the people seemed to jump out of his way. As he reached the other male that was letting his girl grind up against him, his hand instinctively reached for his throat, pushing the guy up against the wall behind him. As the man’s gaze fell on the one and only Adrien Agreste, his eyes bugged and he lifted his hands up in surrender.
"Got anything better to do than take advantage of my-" Adrien cut himself off, his eyes blinking slowly. "friend?" he drawled out slowly.
"Oh calm down Adrien!" (Y/N) hiccuped and giggled, grabbing another shot from the bar and throwing it back with a gulp. "Didn't you want me to find someone else?" She called over the loud music.
"Someone else?" Alya called out in drunken confusion.
Adrien's eyes gave the guy a quick once over and then released him, causing the guy to quickly hurry away. "This is not what I meant, and you know it," he yelled out at her, looking at her tipsy self. Thank fuck he was here. She was wearing lingerie to the most provocative nightclub in Paris, it was so easy to confuse her with one of the actual dancers here. Who knows how many guys she would have left with looking like that?

"Oh...did you mean yourself?" She asked slowly, resting her arms on his shoulders and looking up at him innocently. Her usual soulful eyes were outlined in a dark, smoky eyeshadow and her hair swept over which gave her a dark, sexy glow. She brought herself closer to him and her lips gently brushed against his ear, her breasts pressing up against his chest and making his body stiffen.
"Because I don't know if I'd be able to control myself with you," she whispered lustfully, nipping at his earlobe.
Adrien breathed in through his teeth as the scent from her hair enveloped his senses. This was not the time to get hard from her, she was obviously hurting from the breakup.
"I'm taking you home," he responded gruffly.
"Oh one song! Please!" She called out giddily, pulling him onto the dance floor before he was able to reject her. Although he wanted to let loose and have some fun, he knew that she was hurting. She was here to forget Chat Noir. How could he have fun after that breakup? Although it wasn’t a goodbye, she didn’t know that. It was because she was too stubborn, and he had to find her tonight because he was scared of where her stubbornness would take her.

Adrien stood on the dance floor as (Y/N) closed her eyes and seemed to lose herself to the beat. Her hips swayed with the bass as she raised her arms above her head, almost as if she was teasing him. The lights flickered across her bodysuit, hinting at her nipples underneath and Adrien attempted to look away, and failed, while her goddess-like body tempted him.
He tore his gaze away as he realized he was only torturing himself, and instead focused on the people around them, making sure that everyone was keeping their eyes to themselves. That's when he felt her plump ass find itself right on his crotch and her back rested on his front, the beat of the music pulsing against their skin.
Adrien’s eyes drifted over her shoulder and he couldn’t help but look down her bodysuit, his body naturally responding to his senses. He started to get high from the feeling of her soft ass against him, the scent of her erotic perfume engulfing his senses.

Suddenly, he caught sight of another guy tugging (Y/N)'s hand, wanting to get her to dance with him too. Adrien wasn't much of a sharer, so it wasn't a surprise when he grabbed the guy’s shirt and pulled him out of (Y/N)'s grasp, staring him down before the guy sulked away.
"I really gotta take you-"Adrien said, turning back to now an empty space that only held (Y/N) a second ago.
"(Y/N))?!" He called out angrily, whipping his head around to look for her. "Fuck!"
He pushed his way through the crowd, trying to find her head of hair. It was like she was an escape artist, she was nowhere to be seen.

After a while of searching, he finally spied Nino and rushed over. "I lost her! Have you found Alya?"
"Yeah I did! Then she said she was going to the bathroom...but that was like 15 minutes ago." He said nervously, just now realizing that 15 minutes was kind of a long time to be in a bathroom.
Adrien let out a frustrated sigh as he made his way over to the bathrooms with Nino. That girl was going to be in big trouble when he found her.

****************************

The girls giggled as they ran out of the club, their heels clicking on the cement. "Girl, he is totally into you," Alya teased (Y/N), earning a raspberry from her best friend.
"Alright, but anyone would be if you grind up on them at the club," she giggled, weaving her arm through her best friend's as they practically skipped down the street.
"Where should we hit next?" Alya hiccuped, looking around at the shining night life around her. She tugged at her leather skirt, feeling it ride up her thighs and making her realize that it truly was just a size too short.
(Y/N) bit her lip as her eyes spotted the couple of motorcycles parked across from them, one a vibrant orange and the other a radiating red. The colours sparkled, almost like they were begging to be touched. (Y/N) walked up to the red one with a smirk and kicked her leg over the seat, sitting down.
"How do I look?" (Y/N) asked, flipping her hair over to one side.
"Fucking hot.”
"I agree," came a low voice from behind Alya, startling them both.
Behind her, a tall, dark-haired guy stood with a charming smile and a biker's helmet under his arm. "You want a ride?"
(Y/N) exchanged an interested look with Alya as her best friend furrowed her brows.
"(Y/N)...I don't know..."
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow at the handsome stranger. This was 100% a terrible idea, but it was so terrible that if Chat Noir was still keeping tabs on her, he would definitely show up.

Adrien and Nino hurried out of the nightclub as they looked around the bustling street. There were so many people dressed up and going out tonight, but Adrien knew that Alya's orange hair would stick out of the crowd. As the girls were nowhere to be seen, he pulled out his phone and speed dialed (Y/N), the chatter around them sending him through a loop. As it hit voicemail, a loud engine suddenly erupted from around the corner and an excited scream radiated from the street. His jaw dropped as the scene in front of him seemed to play out in slow motion: a man on a shining red motorcycle, and (Y/N) clinging onto him.
"No....fucking...way," he seethed, the sound of click-clacking beside him as Alya ran up to the boys, her eyes wide.
"I tried to stop her!" She cried out worriedly, grabbing Nino's hand. "That girl's got a death wish tonight!"
As the motorcycle roared away, Adrien quickly looked around for a place to transform, but there were too many people everywhere. His driver wouldn’t get here fast enough, so what could he do? Thoughts started to plague his mind of how he had failed (Y/N). Not only did he break her heart, but now she could get seriously hurt because of him.
How could he save her as himself? He couldn’t save her as Chat Noir because he’s gone from her life. He needed to step up as Adrien and figure this out.
As he caught sight of a man climbing onto an orange motorcycle, he ran over and handed him a business card.
“Listen, I gotta borrow your bike to save a friend. I’ll return it in better condition than it is. Just please, I need it right NOW!”
Although the man was hesitant, he recognized Adrien’s reputation and nodded, handing him the helmet and climbing off.
With a quick start of the engine, Adrien sent a small prayer that (Y/N) would be okay and that he could catch up to her. And with that, he veered off.

Chapter Text

The wind whipped at (Y/N)'s hair against the night sky, the speed making her feel alive again. Becoming Ladybug had changed her; she loved speed, heights, and just about any daring thing now that she had the power to swing from building to building. But being in her costume was safe. Falls didn't hurt her as she was able to recover quickly. Chasing those thrills in person was more risky, but also more exciting.

(Y/N) tightened her arms around the man's body as he pressed on the gas pedal, speeding through a yellow light. She squealed in excitement and watched the night lights whiz by them.
"You having fun?!" The guy called out, smirking at her tight grip around him.
"Yeah!" She called out, the air rushing past her so fast it was leaving her breathless.
This is exactly what she needed to get her mind off the break up with Chat. And if he happened to show up tonight, she wouldn’t mind giving him a piece of her mind. He had left so suddenly that night, leaving her all alone with her tears. She had so much to say and he didn’t give her a chance to speak, to try and figure things out. That’s when she had called Alya and planned a night out to distract herself. She couldn’t tell her best friend much, so she was relying on the drinks to numb her feelings.

The man turned his head to say something to her, but that's when (Y/N) noticed a black cat suddenly scurry across the road.
"WATCH OUT!!!" She shrieked, and with a jolt of the motorcycle's handles, the man narrowly missed the animal. It let out a screech as it ran back across the road, and (Y/N) let out a shaky breath, her heart pounding out of her chest.
The guy managed to quickly regain control of the motorcycle, but (Y/N) had had enough. She screamed for him to stop, demanding to get off.
"Aw come on...did that scare you?" He chuckled, earning a hateful look from the frazzled girl.
He rolled his eyes and started up the engine, speeding away as he left her alone in the street.
“Fucking asshole,” she mumbled after him.

(Y/N) hugged her body and squeezed her eyes shut, realizing how cold the night had suddenly become. So Chat wasn’t coming, she thought to herself. He was truly done with her, and she was never going to get that back. Sure, she would see him as Ladybug, but she could never say all the things she wanted to say to him as (Y/N).
"(Y/N)!" She heard a familiar voice call out and her heart lifted. Did he..? Was she wrong?
She twirled around, ready to embrace the warmth she'd been craving. "Cha-"
"-How could you be so stupid? Are you trying to get in trouble??" Adrien caught up with her and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "Are you..." he said, panting and out of breath "Are you okay?"
Her gaze adjusted to see Adrien, not Chat, in front of her. A wave of confusion and anger splashed over her like a tidal wave as she shook her head, taking a step back.
"No...I thought…” Angry tears dotted the corners of her eyes as she whipped her head to look at him. "You're not supposed to be here!" She said with a frown, trying to keep the shattered pieces of her heart together. "I..." her voice cracked, looking around. "He should be here. Where is he??"
"(Y/N)..." Adrien said softly, taking a step towards the girl. "It's going to be okay..."
"He should have been here!" She yelled, tears falling down her cheeks.
With slow movements, Adrien stepped forward and encompassed her with his arms again, quieting her sobs as he held her.

After a while of holding her, Adrien realized that she had seemed to calm down.
"Let me call my driver, we'll get you home, (Y/N)."
"No," she said shakily and stepped back. "I don't want to go home. Everything there reminds me of him...I can't."
With a nod, he sent a text off and pocketed the phone. "Alright. I'll take you back to my place."
(Y/N) looked down at herself and sighed. Getting out of these clothes and taking a shower would feel so good right now.

The rest of the night was such a blur for (Y/N), probably because of the alcohol. One moment she was standing in the alley with Adrien, then she was in the back of his car leaning her head on his shoulder, and then they were in his room as he was rummaging through his drawers. He handed her one of his clean white shirts to cover up her top and she headed into the shower.
She felt like she was finally sobering up when the hot water hit her skin, almost as if the steam was bringing her back to herself. She let out a breath, her tears mixing with the water and giving her a chance to be embraced by the warmth.

Adrien paced his room as (Y/N) showered, rubbing his neck. He had already changed into his night pajamas and fired off a text to Alya and Nino, letting them know of the situation and that she would be staying with him tonight. He also asked Alya to let (Y/N)'s parents know of her whereabouts.
He didn't know what to feel. He obviously wanted her to transition into a relationship with him as Adrien, but he forgot about the extremely ugly breakup stage. He also hated himself for what he had done to her. Her poor heart was being wrung out as he was figuring out how to balance this whole situation with him being a superhero. If he had just asked her to the Garden Dance from the start, everything would have turned out the way it was supposed to and she wouldn’t have had to go through any of this. He didn’t deserve her, it was as simple as that. But he knew more than anything that he was going to make it up to her.
His thoughts were interrupted when (Y/N) padded out of the shower, her hair in a bun, her eyes tired while she wore-
Adrien's cheeks reddened as he instantly looked away, finding his foosball table very interesting. "Uh...ha-" he stuttered. "I thought you were just gonna wear the shirt and jeans."
(Y/N) looked down at herself, the white shirt hanging loosely over her crotch, but short enough to expose everything if she bent over.
"Well I can't sleep with my jeans on..." she said, curling her bare toes on the cold tiles.
"Right...sorry.." he stammered, rushing over to his drawers and grabbing her some pajama pants.
"It's fine, I don't even need them," she said sleepily, padding over to his bed and crawling under the covers.
Adrien blinked as he remained speechless, unsure of what to do. The bed was big enough for the two of them, or...would that be too weird? Should he take the couch?
"I'm cold," (Y/N) said with a shiver, pulling the thin sheets around her.
Adrien smiled and grabbed a warmer blanket, laying it on top of her to cover her up.
"Well, if you were wearing some pants, then maybe you wouldn't be so cold," he said with a chuckle, noticing her drowsy eyes looking up at him.
"Can you keep me warm?"
A slow warmth started creeping into his chest as he looked at her. She was inviting him in, she wanted him here. Maybe..maybe this would work out after all.
"I..guess I can," he replied softly.
(Y/N) smiled and moved over, opening the sheets up so that he could climb in. He knew that she was still tipsy, but the fact that she was letting him be this close was a good start.
(Y/N) missed the comfortable cuddles that Chat used to give her while she slept. Instinctively, she turned her back to him and pushed herself back into his chest, her ass cushioning his crotch. Adrien gasped quietly as he bit his lip, trying to remain calm.
"Fuck...uh..." he whispered, his cheeks red as he slowly moved his crotch away from her ass. He was still wearing boxers and some pajama pants, but he couldn’t hide what was growing down there.
"(Y/N)?" He whispered, not knowing where to put his hands.
But she was already sound asleep, her breaths deep and laboured. He smiled softly at her and kissed the back of her head, enveloping in her scent one more time. He was going to make it up to her, he kept telling himself. She deserved love, safety and happiness, and he was going to give that to her.
"Good night, princess."

Chapter Text

The next morning, (Y/N) woke up in the comfiest position she had ever been in. The bed was so incredibly soft, the sheets around her smelled so familiar, and there was an eminating heat surrounding her backside. Her sleepy brain remained in a half-asleep state, that is, until she moved up against the source of the heat. A wave of confusion washed over her as something long and solid pulsed against her, her eyes slowly opening as the realization dawned on her.
As she gathered her surroundings and made sense of the foreign room around her, the events of the night before starting washing over her like a crash of cold water. If she was in Adrien's room, then the source of the heat must be...
(Y/N)'s cheeks went red as she felt his cock pulse once more. Although she had spent the night with Chat many times before, his suit did a wonderful job of hiding how big he really was. So waking up to Adrien literally pressed up against her asshole was a whole new experience that she did not know how to handle.
Slowly, (Y/N) started to shuffle her hips forward. She needed to find a subtle way to get out of this before-
The grip around her waist tightened and she was pulled back with a suprising strength, right onto Adrien’s lap.
She heard him take in her scent and groan against her hair, another pulse emanating from down there.
"Adrien..?" (Y/N) said gently, her heart skipping in her chest as she attempted to stay calm.
Adrien’s hips shifted against her, making her gasp at his growth. "Adrien..." she whispered, her legs tightening to try and stop the pleasure from spreading. Unfortunately, that just brought more tension to the area. Her body was acting against her, but she knew that if they were in this situation a few months ago, she would have literally died.
"Can you let me go?" she choked, feeling Adrien's head shuffle on the pillow.
"Hm..?"
"Please?…I- have to use the bathroom."
And with that, the boy who was only half-asleep a second ago, was jumping out of bed and abashedly stumbling over his words.
"I..I'm so sorry....I thought you were..." he stumbled, finally noticing his rock-hard cock. He quickly turned his back to the girl and searched the floor for his pajama pants. It was so hot that night that he had stripped them off, only leaving himself in boxers, but now he couldn't find the goddamn things.
(Y/N) sat up on her knees and looked down at her hands.
"You thought I was someone else, I get it."
"No! I thought..." Adrien said frustratingly, finding his pants and hurriedly putting them on. What could he say? Because he honestly thought she was part of a dream, but that it was still her.
"I thought you were just my sheets..." he mustered. "Sometimes my pillows get thrown around while I sleep and it feels good to-"
-STOP-
-ABORT-
-ABORT-
Her face was bright red as her mind wandered to what he was going to say. "Can I please have some pants?" She asked shyly, avoiding his eyes.
"Yes of course," he said quickly, grabbing a clean pair for her and giving her some privacy as she hurried to the bathroom.
Adrien had nothing to say as Plagg flew out from around the corner, having watched that whole disastrous scene.
"Nice save," Plagg chuckled, flying around his owner's head.
"Oh fuck off," Adrien irritatingly swatted him away like a fly.
"No, seriously! At least now she'll know that you were hoping that she was a pillow," he chuckled again. The kwami nearly missed the sudden flying pillow that was aimed directly for it, but he managed to dodge it just in time and hide as the bathroom door suddenly clicked open. Adrien straightened up as (Y/N) looked at the pillow on the floor.
"Are you wanting a pillow fight?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
Adrien chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Listen...I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. I'm just not used to waking up with a girl in my bed," he said a littly shyly.
(Y/N) watched the embarrased Adrien and hid a smile. "You mean you've never had a girl sleep over?"
"No, you're the first one."
(Y/N)'s heart seemed to melt a little at that thought. She was glad that Chloe and Lila had never made it that far.
"It's okay, let's start the day over."
Adrien smiled as a pillow was suddenly flying back in his direction.

After the both of them decided that it would be best to head to (Y/N)'s place to focus on the project they've been procrastinating, (Y/N) lay on the chaise lounge while Adrien was sitting at her desk. According to the instructions, they still had to do research, create a slideshow and find an innovative way to present their findings.
They were casually writing out notes and bouncing ideas back and forth all throughout the afternoon, realizing that they only had a couple days left before the presentation.
"It says right here that the pyramids were not built by slaves! Apparently, they found new archaeological evidence that says everyone was paid and about 20,000 men were temporary and free, chosen under the corvée system of national service," Adrien recited off the computer.
"Huh!" (Y/N) nodded, a croissant half in her mouth as she wrote that down.
"I bet Chloe would have something to say about that," Adrien mumbled.
"Should I write that into our presentation? Wait for Chloe's comment?" (Y/N) joked, earning a smirk from Adrien.

The two worked hard, getting through the bulk of the presentation before reaching a small lull. Adrien breathed out and swivelled in his chair to look over at (Y/N), needing to ask her a question that was burning on his mind. "You never told me why you acted out so dangerously last night."
(Y/N)'s pencil froze and she let it drop onto the page. "I'm sure you can figure out why."
"Was it about Chat Noir?"
(Y/N) sighed as she pulled apart her croissant.
"It's dangerous hanging out with a superhero," he said, trying to remain as naive as possible.
"Yeah...I know."
"Are you okay, though?"
(Y/N) was silent as she looked down, tears starting to dot her eyelashes.
Adrien's eyebrows raised and he moved over to sit beside her on the chaise lounge. He brought her into a quiet hug and the tension in her shoulders relaxed.
"It doesn't matter anymore," (Y/N) managed out shakily. "I'm not wasting any more time on letdowns and…and heartbreaks."
Adrien continued to hold onto her as he realized that both of those things were about him. He was the letdown, letting her constantly love him unconditionally as Adrien while completely ignoring all the signs. Then letting her fall in love with his other side, and ultimately breaking her heart, again. But he just needed one more chance. One more chance to get her to fall for him as Adrien, and then he would never let her go.

He pulled away from her and held onto her shoulders gently, brushing her bangs out of her eyes. "Let's go out. Let's get out of here and give you a breather."
"What?"
"We've been at this project for a while, we need some fresh air."
(Y/N) blinked and looked around. "Where..?"
"I'll call my driver," He persisted, a smile creeping up on his face. "Let me take you to my favourite spot."
(Y/N) gave a shaky smile. "Where are we going?"
"Le Charme Français."
"Le-" (Y/N) nearly choked, "Le Charme Français??"
"Oui," Adrien smiled with a radiating charm.
"But...but I don't have anything to wear to a place like that! At least, it's not done yet!" She said and stood up hastily, her eyes darting to her mannequin and half-finished sequinned dresses all hanging next to it.
He took her hand and stood up to meet her. “We can stop at Agreste Boutique, I’m sure there’s something in there that you’ll like.”
(Y/N) almost fainted. “Agreste Boutique??? But I don’t have the money for-”
Adrien rolled his eyes. “It’s my dad’s line of fashion, I’m sure he won’t mind us borrowing a couple things.”

Your comments have given me the motivation I needed to keep going! Love all your comments and it gives me the kick up the butt that I need haha.

I’ll be honest with you all, I struggle with writing intricate details about scenery. ChatGPT has been a real help with explaining what I’m visualizing, so I hope the writing style is not too jarring from the story.

Love you all!

Chapter Text

(Y/N) twirled, her dress—a masterpiece of elegance—fluttering gracefully around her knees. The peach material hugged her curves and opened near her knees like the petals of a rose. She giggled excitedly as she looked down at the beautiful Gabriel Agreste fashion piece that was premiered in his 2007 collection labelled "Warmth." Her dizzy vision suddenly caught up to her as she looked down at Adrien, who was sporting a suit as he sat on one of the black cushioned seats. They had been at his father's elite clothing store for almost an hour now. After settling on the second suit he tried on, Adrien had been mainly sitting across from the dressing rooms, watching (Y/N) come out in over a dozen of his father's pieces. And she looked good in every. single. one.

"Are you sure you want to be a designer?" He had asked her semi-jokingly. Her beauty was so unique that she could command all the attention in the room if she were to become a model. He had thought perhaps the beautiful dress she had designed for the Garden Dance would be her signature piece, but seeing her in each and every one of his father's pieces just brought out a new side of her that was equally just as beautiful as the last. This one, for example, brought out her rosy cheeks and bright smile, making her look young and carefree.
"I love it!" He smiled, looking at the soft fabric enveloping her.
"You said that the last 5 dresses I tried on," she laughed.
"7 actually," he chuckled and shrugged "I don't know what to tell you, it's going to be a hard choice because they're all gorgeous."
"Let me try on one more, and then we might just have to pick randomly, because I love them all."

(Y/N) disappeared behind the door and Adrien sighed, looking over at his reflection. This whole thing was just a jumbled mess. She was originally in love with Adrien Agreste, but that ended her with a broken heart. She rebounded with him as Chat Noir, which ended her in another broken heart. Now, Adrien was attempting to console her in his civilian form, wishing that not all hope was lost.

It all started because he was an idiot who didn't know his own feelings. He acted when he shouldn't have, and it ended in him ending their secret relationship and breaking her heart. He definitely accepts that he was stupid for most of this mess, but he knows that he needed to stop things with her as Chat Noir. He couldn't continue that, it was draining himself as well as her, even if she wouldn't admit it.

His thoughts faded as the dressing room door clicked, and he finally understood why his father had named this piece "Midnight Serenity." She was enveloped in dark blue velvety material, the sparkles on the fine material glittering in the light as she elegantly strode towards him. It reminded him of the countless nights he had spent with Ladybug, the night sky sparkling above them as they were on patrol. Her dark blue hair accented the colour of the dress, almost as if it was made for her.

"You're-"
"I think I'm in love" she beamed into the mirror.
"Me too," he whispered.
"Hm?"
He blinked and looked at her eyes through the mirror, catching himself. "Me too, I think that's the best one."

"So...what's next for our night?" She asked, bringing her hair down from her ponytail and letting it cascade down her shoulders.

"It is time for Le Charme Français" he grinned, extending his hand out to hers.
"Don't we need a reservation? I tried to get in once and they said the waitlist was like a year," she said nervously.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of it."
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows as a wave of interest washed over her features. "Don't we need to..pay..? Or something?" She asked, looking back at the two standing ladies behind the booth of designer shoes she could not even imagine the price of.
"We'll return everything at the end of the night," he smiled. "If anything, I should be paying you for how gorgeous you look."
(Y/N) looked down embarrassingly and he reddened.
"I'm sorry. That was weird. I'm just a bit nervous," he confessed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Nervous?"
"I just...want you to have a good time," he looked at her, somehow making her heart skip. She curiously took his hand and followed, wondering where this night would take her.

Adrien's silver car pulled up to them as the gorilla peered through the tinted glass. Adrien leaned over and opened the door for (Y/N), letting her climb inside as any gentleman would do. This was his night, he told himself. This was his night to prove to her that he could be her friend. Tonight was not about winning her over, it was going to be about helping her heal. Of course he wanted more, but that wasn't up to him. That was up to her, if she was ready.

As he climbed in, the gorilla grunted and began driving, knowing where their destination was.

"I've never been to Le Charme Français before" (Y/N) said, fidgeting with her fingers.
"It's...like a club but fancier."
"Like a rich club."
"Anyone can go to Le Charme Français," he countered and (Y/N) raised an eyebrow, silently calling him out on his bullshit.
"But you're right, it is much easier for rich people to book a reservation," he confessed, chuckling softly.

As they pulled up to Le Charme Français, the soft glow of twinkling lights cast a dreamy haze over the cobblestone street. Her heart pounded as her eyes traced the elegant, cursive pink lettering that spelled out the restaurant's name across the building's front. The entrance was shrouded in an air of mystery, an arched passageway of shadowed stone, similar to a hidden cave, beckoned them inside. The building itself was a masterpiece, a fusion of old-world charm and quiet grandeur. It rose three stories high, its design was anything but rigid. A discreet balcony peeked from the back, barely visible from the street, as if waiting to be discovered.

It was only until her door opened did she realize that it was time to go inside. She took in a quick breath and slowly moved out of the car. If she wanted to be perceived as one who belonged, she was going to have to act the part. She needed to look wealthy, and the wealthy do not rush.

She had completely let herself go that night she went to the club, and honestly she had regretted it the next morning. Adrien had seen her in her most destructive state. Even though he didn't know that she wore that bodysuit as a big "Fuck You" to Chat Noir, she realized afterwards that she didn't want him to see her that way, regardless of whether she had feelings for him or not. This night was her chance to prove to him that she could be elegant too.

Her arm slid into his, a warm grin spreading across his lips. He merely only needed to nod at the guard standing outside the entrance, to which the man nodded back, recognizing Adrien immediately. No hesitation, no need to use his name...damn, (Y/N) thought. The guard hadn't even needed to ask about his guest.
"Do you regularly bring guests here?" She asked, fighting for her voice to stay nonchalant.
"You're the first."

As the couple stepped through the cave-like entrance, the world outside melted away, swallowed by the opulent mystery of Le Charme Français. The hallway stretched before them, long and enveloping, its high ceilings adorned with delicate golden filigree that shimmered beneath the glow of crystal chandeliers. The walls, lined with intricate moldings and rich, velvet drapery, exuded a quiet grandeur, their deep hues of midnight blue and burgundy whispering of untold secrets.

Lining the corridor, a series of heavy, gilded doors stood like silent sentinels, each concealing its own clandestine world. Some bore only small, enigmatic engravings, while others had ornate brass knockers, polished to a gleam. A faint pulse of music throbbed behind one—its bass deep and rhythmic, promising a hidden nightclub just beyond. Yet, despite its presence, the hallway remained a sanctuary of stillness, the thick walls absorbing sound like a well-kept secret.

At the far end, a grand staircase of marble and dark mahogany awaited, splitting into two sweeping directions, like diverging paths in a story yet to be told. The polished banisters gleamed under the dim lighting, curving upward toward the unknown, enticing them deeper into the labyrinth of luxury and intrigue that Le Charme Français so effortlessly embodied.

As they walked through, (Y/N) was surprised to see that it did not immediately take them to the pumping music. In fact, it was almost completely silent, save the slight bass vibrations through the wooden door. The second thing that surprised her, was how beautiful the hallway was. It had marble flooring with white marble pillars reaching the ceiling. There was red plush carpet down the center, leading to a marble staircase at the end of the hallway, splitting off into two as they led to complete opposite directions.

"I never knew inside would look so...elegant," she said breathlessly, her curiosity almost taking over as she wondered where all the doors led to.
"I knew you would love it" he said with a smile, holding her close. "Don't worry, we'll get to explore. I'll take you to the music first."

With a deliberate turn of the handle, he pushed open the first door, and in an instant, the hushed elegance of the hallway was shattered. A surge of pulsing music spilled out, wrapping around them like an intoxicating embrace. Bright pink and violet lights flashed in rhythmic bursts, casting fleeting shadows across their faces as the energy of the room swallowed them whole.

At the center of it all stood a grand piano, glossy and untouched, a silent witness to the revelry that unfolded around it. People gathered around, some perched on its polished surface, sipping cocktails and exchanging knowing glances. It was unclear if the instrument was ever played or if it simply existed as an aesthetic statement—an anchor of refinement amidst the electric chaos.

To the side, a sleek, mirrored bar gleamed under the ambient glow. Behind it, a bartender in a sharp, tailored suit moved with effortless precision, shaking up a cocktail—perhaps a martini, judging by the crisp clink of ice against glass. Shelves of crystal decanters and gilded bottles framed him like an artful display, their contents shimmering under the ever-shifting lights.

A staircase curled upward to a second-floor balcony, offering a bird's-eye view of the scene below. From there, guests leaned over the railing, their laughter mixing with the music, their eyes flickering between the dancers and their own private conversations.

At the back of the room, an arresting display of cascading lights draped the wall like a luminous waterfall, shifting in time with the music. Their hues ebbed and flowed, a hypnotic ballet of color that set the tone for the space. And within this glowing expanse, two small, elevated stages stood—one in the upper right, the other in the middle left.

There, poised like muses bathed in neon, women danced—not in a way that sought attention, but as though they had become one with the music itself. Their movements were elegant, fluid, exuding a confidence that was neither provocative nor restrained. They let the rhythm guide them, their bodies swaying with an effortless grace, their eyes half-closed as if they could feel the bass reverberate through their very bones.

It was a world unto itself—refined yet electric, seductive yet sophisticated. And as the door hung open behind them, the music beckoned, daring them to step further inside.

(Y/N) was speechless, this was so much more different than the nightclubs she knew about. This is how the rich had fun.

"Can I get you a drink?" Adrien called beside her, pulling her back to her senses.
"Yes! Uh....can I get a peach sangria?"
Adrien bit his lip and it almost seemed like he was holding back a smile. "I can get you that...or..."
He gently pulled her over to the opposite side of the room next to the staircase, where she noticed that there was an illuminating black door with reddish lights stringing around the frame. An aura of mystery seemed to emanate from within, making (Y/N) feel both nervous and excited to explore what was inside.
"There is a special bartender in this room. You can tell the bartender anything, and he'll make you a drink from what you say."
(Y/N) tilted her head curiously as he continued. "I like to tell him a story, but you can say anything you feel that you want to."
Surprise struck her features as she had never heard of something so unique. "He makes your drink based off of a story?"
"Would you like to try?"
She nodded eagerly.
He gripped the brass handle but stopped himself, glancing over at her. His lips parted as if to explain, but he faltered, shifting uncomfortably.
"I should probably warn you..." he began, his eyes darting around the room as if searching for the right words.  "It's a little... well, it's..."
She raised an eyebrow. "It's what?"
Adrien exhaled, giving up on an explanation.
“You’ll see.”

Chapter Text

Adrien pushed open the black door, and a hush of intrigue settled over them as they stepped inside. The room was bathed in deep shadows, broken only by the smoldering glow of dim red lights, which cast a sultry warmth over polished mahogany floors. Ornate shelves lined with gleaming decanters, and sleek, intimate tables tucked into dark corners. The air was thick with an unspoken energy—an alluring blend of mystery and indulgence.

“It’s…” (Y/N) started, her voice trailing off as her gaze flickered toward the far corner. There, nestled in a velvet booth, a couple was lost in each other, their lips fused in a slow, lingering kiss. The way they moved, unhurried and uninhibited, made the space feel even more intimate, as if every indulgence here was meant to be savored.

“—cozy,” she finished, though the word hardly seemed to capture the quiet seduction of the room.

Adrien’s fingers slid gently around hers, his touch a reassuring contrast to the charged atmosphere. He led her toward the counter, where a man in a sharp, impeccably tailored suit stood behind the bar. His presence was striking, but it was the mask he wore—smooth, black, featureless—that sent a subtle shiver down her spine. The way it concealed his face entirely, revealing nothing, felt both ominous and perfectly suited to the room’s air of secrecy.

Even in the dim lighting, the glint of crystal glassware caught her eye, the bottles behind the bar reflecting the soft glow like liquid rubies and gold. Every detail, from the slow jazz humming through hidden speakers to the low murmur of conversation, seemed curated to draw its guests into something deeper—something intoxicating, where time blurred, and inhibitions faded into the darkness.

“Let me show you,” Adrien smiled comfortingly, turning to the masked bartender. He pondered for a moment, then spoke in a hushed tone, not wanting to disturb the aura of the room. “I am stargazing on the night of the full moon. The moon is so bright, yet the stars still manage to hold my gaze with their shine.” Then he leaned over the counter, the masked man leaning closer as he listened to Adrien’s whisper. (Y/N) watched in complete curiosity as the masked man nodded and leaned down, pulling out a couple of bottles out of the shelf below.

The two watched in fascination as the masked man shook the drink and added a pinch of something from a small jar. After a minute of working his craft, he set down a dark blue drink, sparkles glinting through the glass as he stirred the concoction. Lastly, he gracefully placed a beautiful small blue rose, letting it float above the liquid.

(Y/N) was speechless. The creativity and knowledge of drinks that went into this art was incredible. Adrien took a sip and then nodded, seemingly pleased with his choice. “Want to try?” He asked her, and she nodded, eager to see what his story would taste like.

Adrien couldn’t help but feel his heart leap when she moved her lips over to the straw. He tried not to think about how much he was looking forward to sipping from that drink again.

As the cold liquid hit her tongue, (Y/N) couldn’t help herself as she took another sip. Liquorice, gin and a hint of something warm she could not discern hit her tongue. The smell of the flower also seemed to alter the taste of it as well, giving the drink an almost floral after-taste.
“That’s beautiful. That is really good,” she said, moving the drink over to him. “I really want to try as well.”
He smiled at her and nodded, grabbing the drink and looking over the room. ‘I’ll give you a bit of privacy and grab us a table.”

And with that, (Y/N) turned back to the bartender, heaving a big breath. A story…something….anything…
Her eyes danced around the room as she thought. The thought that was niggling in her brain was something she kept pushing away, but it seemed to consume her thoughts the more she tried to get rid of it. Finally surrendering, she gazed over the expressionless, masked man and began.

“I want to feel like everybody else. I want to live a normal life, but every time I try, something keeps getting in the way.” She swallowed as her heart thrummed. She had never been able to tell someone this, someone who would listen, and not ask questions.
“It’s something I can’t tell anyone else. But my thoughts are stained with these thoughts. They are every where I go.” She looked down at the sleek wooden counter, “one may say that it is beautiful to be different, but they never say how difficult it is to be so alone.”

With the end of her confession, the masked bartender nodded and reached into a top cabinet, pulling out a dark jar. She watched him artistically drop the ice cubes in a tall glass and place dark balls all around, all of them hanging in place around the ice. As he skillfully blended several ingredients, he poured the final concoction into a tall glass. The moment the liquid settled, a gasp escaped her lips—a vibrant red drink sat before her, striking and bold, adorned with deep black spots.

She blinked, frozen in place as she felt both astonishment and fear. She looked at him, trying to remain unmoved. “What does this mean?” she asked.

He stood there, unmoving as if his job was done. His mask covered his whole face, so she couldn’t even try to guess from his expression.

“I don’t understand what this means,” she persisted.
“You decide,” a low french voice emanated from under the mask.

(Y/N) faked a smile. “Thank you.”
She grabbed her drink and began walking through the room, searching for Adrien. She couldn’t help her heart, it was pounding in her chest. What did this mean? Did he know? Did he guess? Is it just a drink based off her story? Her mind was reeling and she hadn’t even taken her first sip yet. Would Adrien connect the dots? Should she hurry to the washroom and flush it?

But before she could create a plan, she saw Adrien wave from across the room in one of the dark red velvety booths. She steadied her breath as she strode toward him, her grip tightening around the cool glass. The condensation slicked against her fingers, threatening to slip through her grasp.

(Y/N) plastered on a smile as she sat across from him, setting the drink down.
He looked at her in concern, “Do you feel uncomfortable here? We can head out-” he began, standing up.
(Y/N) grabbed his arm to stop him. “No,” She whispered quickly. “No, I’m okay.”
He paused for a moment, sensing something was off, but sat down. “Have you tried your drink yet? I didn’t know they had boba here.”

She exhaled softly, bracing herself as she lifted the straw to her lips. The cool liquid met her tongue, and she gave an automatic nod, murmuring a quick, approving “Mmm.” It was the reaction he was waiting for, the one she knew he wanted.

But then—her brows flickered upward. The taste bloomed across her palate, unexpected yet intriguing. Before she could stop herself, she leaned in again, taking a second sip, slower this time, letting the flavors unravel. Whatever she had anticipated, this was something entirely different.

The drink itself was sweet, but as one of the black pearls landed on her tongue, she popped it and a slightly sour liquid coated her tastebuds. She was awestruck. Not only did it taste good, but it embodied what she had said to him. Everyone looks at her as Ladybug and thinks that she’s perfect. But her life is so secretive, that it’s almost a dark side to the perceived beauty.
“Would you like to try?” She offered, sliding the drink over to him.

He took a sip, and tilted his head in thought. As the pearl popped in his mouth, his eyebrows rose in surprise.
“May I ask…?” He began, a smooth jazz playing through the speakers.
She smiled and slid the drink back in front of her.
“You may not,” she said sweetly and he snorted, making her giggle.
“And you? What did you whisper to the bartender?” She asked, taking another sip.
“Ah, well if you’re not telling…then I can’t either.”
Her mouth opened in surprise, a soft laugh coming out.
“Well, fine. I told him how amazing it would be to embody someone so smart and strong, like Ladybug.”
“I was going to say, it does have a Ladybug aesthetic to it.”
“And you?” She asked as he took another sip from his dark drink.
“Hm?” He responded, feigning confusion.
“What did you tell him?”
“Tell him about what?” He asked with a grin, earning a gentle punch from (Y/N).
“About the drink you charming little liar!”
That earned a chuckle from Adrien as he winked, “it’s a secret.”

(Y/N) pouted playfully, then shuffled closer, slipping to his left side until her warmth pressed softly against his arm. The sudden intimacy sent a quiet thrill through the air. “I know how to keep a secret,” she said slowly, her voice so soft, so velvety, that only he could hear.

His eyes glazed as he turned to look at her, the buzz of the alcohol suddenly thrumming in his chest.
“Do you, now?” He responded lowly.
(Y/N) leaned in closer, her soft lips gently brushing up his left ear as a strand of her dark hair caressed his cheek.
“I do,” she whispered, her hot breath tickling his skin.
He moved over to her ear, his bottom lip gently caressing up the side of her neck. “I’ll tell you one day,” he murmured back to her.

(Y/N) could not help but feel electricity all down her right side. Goosebumps prickled the skin on her arms and she moved them off the table, not wanting him to see the effect he had on her. It reminded her, it was so similar to how-

(Y/N) caught her breath and brought herself back to her sense. No. He was gone now. She did not need him ruining this night.

Sensing the change in her body, Adrien moved back. “I’m sorry, that was too forward.”
“No…no it’s not you. I just-“ (Y/N) looked down. A beat of silence moved between them as her shoulders slumped. “He really broke my heart, Adrien.”

Torture moved over Adrien’s features as his eyes fixed on one of the black spots in (Y/N)’s drink. “I’m sorry.”
She shrugged and tears started to dot the corners of her eyes. “It’s not your fault, you’re just being left to pick up the pieces.”

He closed his eyes as he considered for a moment. His gaze then fell on her again and he touched her hand. “Let’s get some air, what do you think?”

She nodded and grabbed her drink, letting Adrien’s warm hand embrace hers as she followed him out of the room.
