Reading 'Fed Up'

Summary:

Toman leaders plus Emma read Fed Up by Heather_Mitsuri

Notes:

All the characters are from the day where Draken and Mikey first met Takemichi also it wasn't Baji and Kazutora that tried to rob the bike so it wasn't Kazutora who killed Shinichiro.

This isn't as good as the other two but I hope you enjoy reading it<3

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

It had been a pretty normal day for everyone in Tokyo Revengers since there weren't any near deaths. Everyone was just enjoying this calm day that was pretty rare for those who are part of gangs or in some cases linked to some who were in one.

 

As I said everything was normal until some people simply disappeared from where they were only to find themselves in a somewhat big reading room.

 

"Welcome to this place and please just sit and read this short story" said a voice out of nowhere "I brought you here and no you can't leave until you have read it" it added before anyone could say anything

 

“WTF!” shouted Baji when he noticed that he wasn’t in his room playing a game with Kazutora

 

“Where are we, Kenchin?” whined Mikey while eating taiyaki

 

“How should I know?” said Draken growling

 

“Mikey, Draken!” said Emma surprised to see the two of them

 

“Someone better explain to me what is happening” muttered Sanzu not happy since he was lucky have had time to wear some pants before he suddenly appeared here

 

“As I said before you will be reading something about someone that Draken and Mikey recently met and than you can leave” said the same voice and  with grumblings and cursing everyone sat down while the little book appeared in Chifuyu’s lap who opened it to start reading it

 

'Please, save me... Takemitchy...'

 

  “Oh! It’s the guy who got beaten up by Kiyomasa!” said Mikey smiling while everyone looked at him curiously but didn’t say anything

 

That's the last words Takemichi heard from Mikey who jumped off while he dragged his bloody body to grab his hand preventing the white-haired male to completely fell from the tall building.

 

  “Mikey’s last words?” murmured Emma confused

 

“It can’t be out Mikey since he has blonde hair and wasn’t suicidal” said Pah-chin and the others nodded their heads

 

“And not forgetting that this idiot doesn’t ask for help” added Draken sighing

 

He was shot three times. He was bleeding to death. But nothing compared the look on Mikey's face. Miserable and tired. Those are written on his face.

 

  “Oh my god!” muttered Hakkai terrified by the unknown boy

 

“How the fuck is he still alive?” asked Kazutora because he was sure that if someone had shot him three time he would have died and not have the strength to stop someone from falling down a building

 

“The look on my face?” murmured Mikey curious

 

No words can explain Takemichi felt as he tried his very best on holding Mikey's hand despite the consciousness slipping off of him. He is definitely sure that he is about to die but he prevented himself to die. Not yet. He can't die yet or else Mikey will fall.

 

  “He must really love Mikey” thought Mitsuya out loud

 

“His will is really strong if he can do this” added Chifuyu

 

“My question is were we are” said Sanzu not liking that his king had tried to kill himself

 

He felt terrible. There's a burning and throbbing sensation on his chest.

 

Because no matter how much effort he put into saving everyone's lives, the future is still fucked up. Although, Takemichi regrets nothing from getting stabbed, punched, kicked, shot, and almost bleed to death just to save everyone, he regrets nothing.

 

  “What does he mean with that?” asked Peh-yan confused

 

‘That boy is really something else’ thought Draken seeing what he suffered to see those he loved happy ‘I wouldn’t mind being one of the people he loved if he would do anything to save them’

 

So why does the world seems to be so cruel to him? To Mikey? He understands nothing. He doesn't know why. Why can't be the world let the people he treasured the most live happily just as he wished to.

 

  “Is my future that bad?” asked Mikey with a blank look that made everyone wince since the last time they saw that look was after Shinichiro died

 

“It might be other person named Mikey” said Smiley trying to cheer up is commander

 

“Yeah” agreed the rest

 

‘But I know it’s me’ thought Mikey but didn’t say it out loud

 

And then, Takemichi's eyes snapped open and found himself in an empty dark of his room. He felt tears streaming down his face as he let his deep ocean blue eyes to scan the empty and silent room. He slowly sat up as he thought about what happened earlier.

 

  “Did Mikey die?” whispered Angry

 

“It probably was only a strange nightmare” said Mucho trying to make himself believe it

 

Painful sobs escaped from his mouth as more tears fell from his eyes. He felt suffocated as his heart was heavily wrenching in pain.

 

  “He must be really close to Mikey to be suffering like that” whispered Emma sad with how bad the boy must feel like

 

He needs to see Mikey. He needs to save him. He wants Mikey to have the best future. He has to. He has to save Mikey.

 

  “It must be bad to want to save someone but not be able to do it” said Hakkai feeling bad for the boy

 

‘Why does Takemitchy cherish me so much?’ thought Mikey ‘When we first met he seemed scared did something change that? And even then why does he want to save me?’

 

However, his own body and heart seems betraying him. He felt completely tired. Exhaustion whacked through his senses,drowning and suffocating him.

 

  “He must be depressed and not even know it” cursed Kazutora feeling the need to go and hug that boy and tell him everything would be okay

 

This is the first time he ever felt this tired. He didn't even know that he was this tired. Was he tired all this time? Since when did this tiredness started seeping through his soul?

 

  “I will punch him to make that tiredness disappear!” murmured Baji also feeling protective of the boy

 

“Baji-san you can’t just punch depression out of someone” sighed Chifuyu but he really wished that was possible because in his heart he already felt that Takemichi was important to him

 

He laid back on his bed to take deep breaths. Then out of a sudden, memories of the future came back to him full force the memories he once saw before he decided to changed it. The painful memories of his friends dying in front of him and the memories of fucked up future he went even though he changed the past.

 

  “He must be suffering a lot if he saw his friends dying in front of him” said Draken not liking how bad Takemichi had it

 

“But what does it mean with a fucked up future?” asked Pah-chin

 

“Hanagaki Takemichi in his first life died at 26 after being pushed into a train track and discovered that he could time travel when he woke up in his past self. That was the one Mikey and Draken have met but in the future he will come to and from the future to save all of you and some other people he loved” the voice answered “I will give you some time to digest this and then someone may continued reading” it added

 

Silence preencher the room until some started sobbing or cursing seeing how much Takemichi was doing for them and what that made him suffer while neither of them could be there with him since if it wasn’t because of being transported here they would never believe that was possible. It took sometime but once they had digested all the information and calmed down Mucho picked the book and continued reading in Chifuyu’s place.

 

The memories rushing through his brain, making his head ache painfully. He felt he is falling into the pit of darkness as those memories kept on flashing on his mind, especially the memories of Mikey and his future.

 

Tears stopped falling minutes ago. But he felt his heart wailing painfully upon witnessing those memories.

 

  “I want to hug him and tell him we will help him” murmured Emma

 

He is weak. He is not as strong as Mikey nor Chifuyu. But he knows he is will is as strong as the strongest steel because of his desire to save everyone.

 

  “But even the strongest will can start to weaken after so much” said Peh-yan sad

 

But he can't feel those strong will now. It's like there's a huge void on his chest that he didn't know that existed. All he felt was exhaustion and the feeling of wanting to forget everything. The pain. The memories. Everything. Just for a day.

 

  “Once we are back we will help him to accomplish that we and everyone else are happy so he doesn’t to ever feel like this” declared Mitsuya and no one disagreed

 

He is everyone's hero because he saved them. Hanagaki Takemichi is their crybaby hero.

 

  “It fits him” said Draken remember how the boy even if he was beaten up wouldn’t give up to protect his friends

 

“Yeah” agreed Mikey

 

How about him? Is he a hero to himself? Why he didn't realise that he needs help?

 

  “Because he worries more about the others than himself” whispered Chifuyu

 

Do I also need saving? Since when? Does heroes need saving?

 

  “They do and we will save you” said Sanzu that even if Mikey would always be first to him he could tell that this boy would make his king happy and for that he would protect him

 

Slowly but surely extreme tiredness invaded crept him physically, mentally and emotionally. He is yearning for comfort and warmth but there's no one but him in his room. His curled like a ball, wanting to feel small as much as possible as he stared into nothingness.

 

  “We will be there for you from now on” murmured Smiley and Angry nodded his head in agreement since even if none beside Mikey and Draken had met him they all felt in their hearts that he was important to them and because of that they would protect him

 

Exhaustion and tiredness are all he truly felt. Wanting to selfish for the first time he said...

 

  “He deserved to be selfish” said Baji

 

"For once in my life, can I have the opportunity to give up?"

 

“It ends here” said Mucho and silence invaded the room again

 

“We will be there for him and I will bring him to Toman” declared Mikey knowing he couldn’t lose the boy or otherwise he would go down a way he didn’t like but also he didn’t want to see those blue eyes empty

 

“Once you see him again bring him to our home” said Emma “He shouldn't live alone while he is trying to save us” she added at everyone’s curious looks

 

“We can try to convince him to stay at each of our home like one week he is with the Sanos and the next with us” said Angry and everyone but Kazutora nodded

 

“It’s better if he doesn’t some to mine” said Kazutora knowing his mother could have a sudden attack and terrorise the boy and make him panic

 

“It’s okay” murmured Baji to his friend “How about we reunite this night at the temple after gathering more information about the boy before doing anything?” he asked and everyone nodded before Chifuyu giggel making everyone look at him curious but it was Sanzu who answered

 

“I’m surprised that you have a brain inside your head, Baji” said the white haired boy making the other grumbled

 

After that everyone started laughing and one by one started to disappear back to where they had been before. Once back they get themselves ready to collect information about Takemichi and once done they all diriged themselves to the shrine where it was shared. The next time Takemichi came back he was welcome to the Toman leaders and Emma who promised themselves to also make him happy.

Hi!

So I have wrote something like this in the notes of one of fics of this series but it still happens. I appreciate all the recommendations(some of them are from fics I adore even) but right now I only plan to do a Characters Reading with fics that inspire me to do it. I love all your comments but comments only asking or recommendating fanfictions for me to do makes me lose motivation to do them.

I'm really sorry for this since it makes me feel bad having to write it in all of the fics of thise serie but I hope you guys understand me.
