The Ten Men are on the run! The Mysterious Benedict Society has found some clues to their whereabouts, but they need you to fill in the rest of the grid and find them.

Chapter Text

McCracken, Crawlings, Garrotte, and Sharpe have been forced into a hasty retreat, but they're still armed and extremely dangerous. The clues the Society have been able to compile suggest that the Ten Men have returned to familiar locations. While their suitcase armories are rather depleted, each still carries one of their unusual weapons.

Each Ten Man needs to be found before they can regroup and resupply. Are you up to the task?

This was a really fun puzzle to solve! I love the locations and hiding places (and the seemingly innocuous weapons), and it really fits in with the tone of canon.

Oh, this was so much fun to solve! I liked the clues, and the options with the locations and the hiding places and their classic weapons, and how the little story fits in with MBS. Great work!

This was a lot of fun! For the most part I got it all right, but I was confused on one area. I’d solved everything except for Crawling’s and Garrote’s hiding place. The only available hiding places left were in the rafters and behind the door, but how was I to determine which of them hid where? I’ve been racking my brain for a while and still can’t figure it out 😅

  Oh god, I am so sorry to have left you hanging on this puzzle for months on end!!! (Got buried in my inbox.)
  Reworking it, I first eliminated behind the door as a possible hiding place for Garrotte via transposition. I had found that Garrotte was carrying the handkerchief after eliminating the other possibilities. Next, since the neither/nor clue (#3) eliminated the intersection of behind the door and handkerchief, Garrotte could not be behind the door if he had the handkerchief.
  I also found that Crawlings could not be in the rafters using transposition. I had found that the handkerchief could not be in the Salamander, behind the door, or under the table, which meant that it had to be in the rafters. I had also found that Crawlings did not have the handkerchief, which meant that he could not be in the rafters.
  I'm not sure if those explanations make any sense, or even if it makes any difference to you at this point, but I hope it's better than nothing! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzle. :)
