The announcer's countdown is briefly interrupted when without warning, Zombie bursts into flames.

"GO!"
The Fighters all charge toward one another. Some find allies and team up, while others go in straight for the K.O.s. Right out the gate, Ridley sees the tiny Olimar and Alph, and steps on them, while Mewtwo uses Psystrike to crush Yoshi.
The Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon all go together. Charizard uses Flamethrower to burn the Piranha Plant to a crisp. Bowser sees this and gets angry, using his fire breath on Ivysaur in revenge. The two start squaring off against each other. Squirtle surfs over the Inklings, who scream as they disappear, only for him to get electrocuted by Dark Pit's Electroshot Arm shortly after. Palutena uses Heavenly Light to smite Dark Samus out of existence.
Wolf grabs his gun and blasts the Duck Hunt Duo duck and dog as he bites Villager. Wii Fit Trainer and Chrom, however, are able to dodge the blasts, but in doing so, Chrom accidentally skewers Corrin with his Falchion blad. Corrin chastises him for his recklessness and then faints.
Pikachu and Pichu stand next to each other and combine their powers to use a joint-Thunder Falco, Pit, Dark Pit, and Mr. Game & Watch in rapid succession, then Greninja. Pichu knocks itself out while Dedede whacks Lucas with his hammer.
Ridley attacks Isabelle, who was just minding her own business. Everyone stops fighting to make disgusted faces at him. Byleth shoots Ridley with Failnought, defeats Young Link with Arendbhar, then King Dedede with the Sword of the Creator. She then realizes that there are no lance-wielders to defeat with Amyr and says, "Was that all?"
Bowser moves to kidnap Peach and Daisy, but they pull out Turnips to throw at him to use as defense. However, Master Hand sees them, goes down to grab the princesses, and carries them out of the arena. One of these turnips misses and hits Sonic instead. Wario hears the sound of Sonic's collection of gold rings scattering, gets "$ $" eyes, punches him in the face, and steals them, then punches him again to knock him out for good.
The Wii Fit Trainers try to engage with Incineroar but are defeated after a valiant fight by Incineroar's flashy (and fiery) attacks, slamming them into Popo in the process, KO'ing him. Then Nana faints. Meanwhile, Sephiroth stabs Mega Man, causing him to explode.
Mario, with Luigi at his side, jump-kicks Bowser Jr., who flies into the Mii Fighters knocking them over like bowling pins. Mario sees this and tells them, "Sorry!"
Wario also sees Steve using his Diamond Sword while fighting with Ike and uses a Waft behind Steve, who faints due to the horrible smell.
Wario grabs the Diamond Sword and some steak off of Steve and foolishly takes a break to eat it, but this time greed and hubris get the better of him as he gets caught in a trap set by Snake, and is defeated-cooking Wario and the steak. Dr. Mario also gets kicked in when he tries to rescue Wario.
Ganondorf gets stabbed by two Master Swords, a Light Arrow, and a kunai. "Ugh. Every time." Zelda then banishes him with the Triforce.
Meta Knight launches Little Mac into the air and uses a Mach Tornado air combo. Ken singles out Incineroar and punches him. As they fight, Min Min grabs them both with her arms. Kirby is watching all of this and gets hungry, so he sucks all three of them in. Chrom successfully counters a Falcon Punch, sending Captain Falcon flying.
Bowser and Charizard are still fighting when Charizard grabs a Mushroom and grows. In response, Bowser transforms into Giga Bowser. Then, Charizard Gigantamaxes and the two breathe fire everywhere. R.O.B. and PAC-MAN get caught in the crossfire of their ongoing battle.
The Mario Brothers swing a winded Bowser around by the tail and beat him up, leaving Gigantamax Charizard free to wreak even more havoc, K.O.'ing Lucario with a G-Max Wildfire when he tries to fight back.
Roy is also hit by the flames, but to a lesser degree. He comes at Charizard with the full power of the Binding Blade, drawing its ire. Charizard grabs Roy and uses Seismic Toss to defeat him. Robin doesn't like this and uses Elwind and a fully-charged Thoron to defeat Charizard shortly after he returns to normal.
As Banjo avoids the flames, he accidentally bumps into Jigglypuff. "Oh, sorry about that little, uh, girl." Jigglypuff fell asleep She uses Rest as he touches her, sending him and Kazooie flying.
Shulk sees an opportunity to take out Bayonetta as she is currently busy juggling Terry, but she defies the Monado's Vision using Witch Time, grabbing Terry and K.O.s Shulk with him instead.
Sephiroth summons Meteor-defeating King K. Rool, Robin, and Chrom with the subsequent Supernova, but Lucina is fine because she's the fourth-closest.
Simon is choking Devil Kazuya with his whip while Richter is holding a cross and reciting scripture. Simon sees Sephiroth and warns of the attack. The Belmonts hightail it before they can finish, leaving Devil Kazuya to die in a Flare cast by One-Winged Angel Sephiroth. He then defeats Toon Link and Zelda with a Shadow Flare.
Meta Knight Drill Rushes into Samus's Power Suit, followed by a Mach Tornado causing it to eventually crack and break. Samus, now in her Zero Suit, retaliates with a Jump Kick to kick Meta Knight in the face and stuns him with her Paralyzer before finally knocking him out by throwing him around with her Plasma Whip.
Ness uses PK Pulse to land a serious hit on Ryu. He then launches a PK Thunder toward Ryu. His target prepares a Hadouken to repel it. Mewtwo teleports behind Ness and uses Disable.
("Hmph. You call that psychic power? Here is TRUE POWER!")
Mewtwo manipulates Ness's attack to make the PK Thunder go toward Ness instead, launching him headfirst directly into Ryu's stomach. Mewtwo throws a Shadow Ball at them to make sure he finished them off.
Sheik and Snake have been taking shots at each other. Sheik dodges Snake's rockets and he avoids all of her knives. They both somersault and roll in between Cloud and Sora fighting Sephiroth. Snake tosses a Hand Grenade, while Sheik throws a Burst Grenade. The explosives take both of them out.
Diddy, Joker, Marth, and Eleven all try to take out the mildly surprised Sephiroth but he easily plows through all four of them with an Octoslash before returning his attention to his nemeses.
Ike and Lucina are in a duel. He pushes through with his sheer might and bests her, but he is soon ambushed by a Photon Edge courtesy of Mythra. She transforms into Pyra, who ultimately finishes off him and Lucina with a Flame Nova.
Link announces his presence with a very loud step and throws a boomerang at Pyra. She dodges the weapon then hits it on the way back.
Mythra scoffs. ("Looks like that poor guy didn't learn his lesson from last time.") She transforms again as he charged. "Hey Link, how about we show you an encore of our hit single, 'Nothing Can Stand in Our Way'?" The Hylian royal knight looks at them none too pleased. The two clash swords, ignoring a flying stray axe that hits Mythra. Link uses this opportunity to land an Ancient Arrow and a Spin Attack. Mythra runs toward him. However, Link anticipated this and detonates a Remote Bomb he had laid earlier just as she was close. Then, another flying axe lands on him, and a Thundaga Bolt. He looks back to examine the source: Richter has joined Cloud and Sora's battle against Sephiroth. Link backs away from them to avoid the chaos.
Simon lashes out his whip in an attempt to restrain Donkey Kong after the latter buries Pikachu with his fist, but the gorilla is just too strong and grabs the chain, pulling Simon into a formidable fistfight that he wins before the Belmont can even react. Unbeknownst to him, Bayonetta has summoned Gomorrah, and the beast is right behind him. Gomorrah then swallows him whole with one chomp. Richter spams Bayonetta with Holy Water until she fades out of existence.
Pikachu manages to get himself out of the crater, but has dizzy eyes and accidentally makes the mistake of using its Electric attacks near Fox, who reflects them back at him.
Cloud, Richter, and Sora use a combined Limit Break and Item Crash to defeat Sephiroth. Zero Suit Samus dropkicks Sora out of the way. When Cloud retaliates, she jumps in the air and fires her Paralyzer at Richter, leaving him right in the collision course for Cloud's Finishing Touch. Link throws a boomerang at Samus. He deflects most of her attacks with his Hylian Shield until he finds an opening to use a Spin Attack to knock her away.
Mario grabs Sora's Keyblade and uses it to fend off Link's strikes with the Master Sword. He and Luigi then eye each other and nod. Luigi throws a Fireball at Link, distracting him so that Mario can knock him out with a good, hard swing of the key.
Fox fires his blaster at an exhausted Mario, who faints and drops the Keyblade. Luigi gets down and holds his brother in a moment of grief, then roars like Rathalos, vacuum-grabs Fox, and beats him to a pulp. However, his temperament goes back to normal when he sees Cloud slam into the ground having been beat up by Mewtwo, who then turns to Luigi, but ignores him in favor of "actual threats" Rosalina and Palutena.
Mewtwo, Palutena, and Rosalina stare each other down in the sky while Byleth, Kirby, and a still-sleeping Jigglypuff watch. As they each exchange blows, Rosalina erects a forcefield around her and Luma. Kirby jumps and eats the forcefield with them inside.
Mewtwo blasts Kirby out of the way with Psychic, slowly realizing that he cannot crush the puffball much to his frustration-leaving Palutena a free Autoreticle. Despite this, he eventually overpowers her after Mega Evolving into Mega Mewtwo Y.
5 Fighters Remain
Mewtwo looks around for the other Fighters before he dodges an arrow from Failnought and sees Jigglypuff and Kirby joining Byleth for a tea party. He teleports down, telekinetically throwing Jigglypuff around in multiple attempts to hit them that they narrowly dodge. Byleth gets angty blasts Mewtwo with Aura. The hit makes him lose focus on Jigglypuff. She flies around, nearly hitting Luigi and crashing into the table before bouncing out of the arena. Kirby is furious and Inhales Mewtwo, along with Luigi by accident after a failed attempt to run away and cover up Kirby's mouth with a Suction Shot.
Byleth activates Divine Pulse.
Kirby defeated Luigi
Byleth attempts to attack Kirby with Amyr after he inhales Mewtwo and Luigi, but they make their move too late and get eaten by Kirby.
