STAR WARS

EPISODE XI

DARKEST TEMPTATIONS

THE SKYWALKERS are on the run!  In a sudden and unexpected twist, SUPREME LEADER SNOKE has launched an attack on The Skywalker’s home planet of Ahch-To. Keeping the vow he made many years ago, the sacred island has been obliterated, forcing the survivors to flee to their allies in THE RESISTANCE.

However, REY SOLO, THE LAST JEDI, has lost more than a home for her students. Her young daughter, LEIA, was CAPTURED in the attack, and brought before Snoke on KAMINO…

With The Resistance supporting her, Rey vows to find her daughter and rescue her, no matter the cost. Rey travels with FINN and LYN DAMERON to CORUSCANT, where she plans to make a desperate plea to the forces of THE NEW REPUBLIC.

Unaware of the attack and danger his daughter faces, BEN SOLO travels with POE DAMERON to the remains of the SITH PLANET EXEGOL, where he hopes to find answers…

EXT – SPACE – EXEGOL

As the title crawl fades away into open space, The Redemption flies over the camera.

The camera pans downwards, showing The Redemption flying down towards Exegol.

EXT – EXEGOL – STONE DESERT – NIGHT

The Redemption lands in the stone desert of Exegol.

In the distance, the looming Sith fortress rests in complete ruin. Half of the fortress has caved in, leaving nothing but rubble.

INT – THE REDEMPTION – THE COCKPIT – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the cockpit of The Redemption, as Poe Dameron flicks a couple of switches. The ship begins to power down.

Poe turns in his seat, looking towards Ben Solo, who sits completely still, looking out the window.

Poe Dameron (Concerned): Hey, you ok?

Ben stays still.

Ben Solo (Quietly): I haven’t been back here since I buried Adibar and Ulysses…

Poe goes silent for a moment.

Poe (Comforting): Come on, let’s get this over with quickly.

Ben nods, and stands up, moving towards the back of the ship.

EXT – EXEGOL – STONE DESERT – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the desert, as Ben, Poe, and BB-8 approach the ruined fortress.

Ben activates his lightsaber, as a precaution. Lightning crashes around them.

INT – EXEGOL – SITH FORTRESS – ELEVATOR – NIGHT

The camera cuts to inside The Sith Fortress, as Poe and Ben place grappling hooks on the ground near the massive hexagon hole, that once was the elevator out of Exegol.

BB-8 watches as they clip the ropes to their belts.

INT – EXEGOL – SITH FORTRESS – CATACOMBS – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the catacombs, as Poe and Ben are lowered down through the hexagonal hole, past the massive Sith statues that guard the mazes.

Poe gazes around in both amazement and fear.

The camera cuts to the floor, as Ben and Poe both land, unclipping the rope from their belts, leaving them dangling from above.

They look at each other for a moment, and Poe nods, gesturing for Ben to lead the way.

Ben turns, and they begin to walk down the massive hallways towards the old Laboratory.

INT – EXEGOL – SITH FORTRESS – LABORATORY – NIGHT

Ben and Poe enter the Sith Laboratory.

The place is in ruins, the glass containers that once held the clones of Snoke and Rey are smashed open, and some rubble has landed on others.

We see the fate of some of these clones, their decayed skeletons scattered across the floor or hanging out of the smashed tanks.

Ben steps up towards an old console by one of the few tanks not smashed. The liquid has long ago leaked out of it, and the Snoke clones are simply skeletons sitting in the bottom of the tank.

Poe peers into the glass, looking visibly sick at the sight.

Ben starts pressing buttons on the console. Nothing happens, and he sighs in annoyance.

Ben (Annoyed): It’s dead. No one has been here in nearly nineteen years.

Poe begins to approach him.

Poe: Let me have a look.

Poe kneels before the console and opens up the compartment.

He starts pulling out a few wires. Ben looks confused.

Ben (Confused): What are you doing?

Poe: Giving it power. It’s not that different from hot-wiring an X-Wing.

Ben: Which you know how to do, how exactly?

Poe: I’m a pilot. Why do you think?

Ben: Just because you are a pilot doesn’t mean you know how to hotwire a ship.

Poe sighs and faces Ben.

Poe: Fine… before I joined The Resistance, I got in with a bad crowd. Spice runners.

Ben gives Poe a judgemental look.

Ben (Judgemental): You were a spice runner?

Poe (Defensively): Hey! I don’t think you have a right to judge Mr former overlord of the known universe.

Ben thinks for a moment, then nods.

Ben: That’s fair.

Poe smirks and finishes his task. Suddenly the console lights up. The screen is cracked, but readable.

Ben steps closer and begins to scroll through the screen.

Poe (Curious): What are you looking for?

Ben: I’m looking for files on Snoke’s creation. I need to know if Snoke was the only apprentice Palpatine had.

Ben presses a couple of buttons on the console, and suddenly a small flickering hologram appears, showing Doctor Daralex Presell, Rey’s Father.

Daralex Presell (Hologram): Entry forty-two. The Empire has fallen, and The Emperor’s body has been destroyed with it. I have heard his voice, and he has told me to move my facilities to a secret planet in the Outer-Rim, to continue my experiments. I leave with Allegiant General Pryde in the morning. This is a delicate operation, one that cannot be rushed. The DNA samples provided by Palpatine are already beginning to decay, and with the original donor deceased nearly thirty-six years ago, the possibility of new samples is impossible. End Log.

The hologram clicks off.

Poe: Skip forward a bit.

Ben nods and presses a few buttons.

The hologram appears again.

Daralex (Hologram): Entry Four-Hundred and Twenty-Three. Initial testings have concluded with promising results. The creature is sentient, but so far has shown no capability of accessing The Force. The Emperor’s spirit has instructed me to continue, we are on the verge of a breakthrough, I can feel it. What we are doing, has never been heard of before. We are creating life, capable of accessing and wielding The Force. The current subject has been scheduled for termination, but still, we hold the problem of lack of DNA. We have had to start using DNA harvested from the failed subjects, which has begun leading to… imperfections. Every clone of a clone we create, the more twisted and grotesque they become, almost as if they are decaying before my very eyes… I wonder what would happen if I used DNA of a fresh sample combined with the old samples… End log.

The hologram shuts off again.

Ben (Confused): Fresh sample?

Poe shrugs.

Poe: I don’t know man, I was never good with this science stuff. Play another one.

Ben nods, and scrolls forward more. One file catches his eye.

Ben: This one. Its name is success.

Poe nods, and Ben presses play.

Daralex appears again.

Daralex (Hologram): Entry Four-Hundred and Sixty-Six. Subject Plagueis-07 has shown a remarkable talent with The Force. He has been the first successful clone created, using both my own blood and the last original samples provided by The Emperor. Subject Plagueis is already powerful and is undergoing training by the hands of The Sith Cultists. It shows an undying loyalty to our Emperor, even going so far as to willingly kill its fellow failure clones under order. Subject Plagueis-07 shall undergo further testing, before receiving his first order from The Emperor. I have been given my next task, after using the second set of samples provided by Palpatine to allow his spirit to once more inhabit the mortal plane, I am to create a weapon powerful enough to destroy any who would stand against The Empire. My wife, Lillali has offered her own DNA to create this new weapon. Project ray of darkness begins soon… End log.

The Hologram shuts off.

Poe (Confused): Ray of darkness? Is he talking about Rey?

Ben: He must be. I think I know what subject Plagueis is as well.

Poe: What?

Ben: Rey and I shared a vision, where we saw Palpatine kill a man named Plagueis, who called Palpatine his apprentice. If I’m right, I think Palpatine took the DNA of his master to clone him and created Snoke using Daralex’s blood.

Poe nods, silent for a moment, then his eyes widen.

Poe: Wait, if Snoke was created using the blood of Daralex and DNA of Darth Plagueis, and Rey was created using the blood of Lillali and Palpatine, wouldn’t that mean that Rey and Snoke are technically siblings?  

Ben’s eyes widen in return.

Ben (Disgusted): That’s not really an idea I’d like to think about… I’m going to play the last one.

Ben begins scrolling through the list until he reaches the last file. He presses it, and the hologram of Daralex appears again.

He looks frightened and tired.

Daralex (Hologram, Voice Shaking): We’ve messed with something we never should have. I overheard Pryde speaking with The Emperor. Palpatine has infected the mind of a child named Ben Solo, the grandson of Anakin Skywalker, the most powerful Force user we have ever seen. He plans to combine the power of Ben Solo and young Rey, to create the most powerful Force user in The Galaxy. I look at this young girl, who I helped to create, and I feel guilty knowing the destiny I have forced upon her. Young Rey, who brightens this dark place. Who runs around playing with my notes and machines, who has forced her way into my heart. I know what I must do. Rey, should destiny find you again, I am sorry. I am sorry for this life I have forced upon you, and I can only pray that you will forgive me.

The hologram shuts off and Poe and Ben turn to each other with wide eyes.

Poe (Quietly): Palpatine never wanted you, or Rey.

Ben (In Shock): He wanted our child. And Daralex and Lillali smuggled Rey away, hiding her from Palpatine on Jakku, trying to protect her.

Ben suddenly goes quiet, as he turns around, an odd look on his face.

Ben (Concerned, Then Fearful): Rey? What’s wrong?!

Poe looks confused.

Poe: Uh Ben?

Ben doesn’t respond to him. Poe waves his arm in front of Ben’s face, but he doesn’t react.

Poe steps back sighing.

Ben: Hey it's ok, calm down. Tell me what happened!

Poe watches as Ben’s expression changes to fear.

Ben: I’m on my way back now. I’ll meet you at The Resistance.

A moment passes.

Ben: I love you too.

After another moment, he turns to Poe, tears in his eyes.

Ben (Fearfully): How fast can we get back to The Resistance?

Poe shrugs.

Poe: An hour or two, why?

Ben gulps.

Ben: An Army of Sith attacked Ahch-To. Poe. They’ve captured Leia.

Poe’s expression shows fear.

Poe (Fearfully): An army of Sith? Of Kriff.

Ben suddenly grabs Poe’s shirt, anger, and fear on his face.

Ben (Angrily): Are you listening! They’ve taken Leia!

Poe freezes, fearful as the ghost of Kylo Ren reappears, and Ben, sensing this fear, immediately lets him go, giving an apologetic expression.

Poe’s face hardens, then becomes supportive.

Poe (Firm): I understand. Ok. Let’s go.

Chapter Text

EXT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – HANGER BAY – MORNING

The camera cuts to the hanger bay in The Senate building on Coruscant.

Rey Solo stands beside the ramp to The Millennium Falcon, with tears in her eyes. She is still wearing her Skywalker Grandmaster attire.

Finn Dameron (Off-Screen): Rey?

Rey quickly reaches up, drying her tears on her arm. She turns to face Finn Dameron.

Finn gives a look of concern.

Finn: Vrildoxx is ready to see us.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE – MORNING

The camera cuts to the inside of Chancellor Vrildoxx’s office, as Rey, flanked by Finn and Lyn Dameron, enters the building.

Chancellor Vrildoxx sits in his chair at his desk and glances up at them with a stern glare.

Chancellor Tez Vrildoxx (Sarcastically): Rey Solo. It’s been some time since you last graced my office with your presence.  

Rey nods.

Rey Solo: Supreme Chancellor.

Vrildoxx narrows his eyes.

Vrildoxx: What brings you crawling back here?

Lyn steps forward.

Lyn Dameron: Supreme Chancellor. Ahch-To was attacked by remnants of The First Order, who have rebranded themselves into The Sith Empire. Rey, Finn, and Joshuan fought against several Sith Lords in the attack, confirming the worst. The Sith are back, and they are coming for us all. They have destroyed Ahch-To and kidnapped Rey’s daughter Leia.

Vrildoxx glances at Rey.

Vrildoxx: My condolences for your daughter, but if The Sith have indeed returned, she is likely already dead.

Rey’s expression turns to rage and goes to speak, but Lyn puts her hand on Rey’s shoulder, and Rey stays quiet.

Lyn approaches the desk.

Lyn: Because of the laws that The New Republic put in place, I cannot send The Resistance to war without first there being an attack on Republic soil or approval of The Senate. We are here to ask for that.

Vrildoxx glances at Lyn, his eyes firm.

Vrildoxx: No.

Lyn has a brief look of shock, then anger, but quickly composes herself.

Lyn (Trying To Remain Calm): May I ask why?

Vrildoxx stands, and walks towards the window, looking out towards the city.

Vrildoxx: As you said, these Sith have not attacked Republic soil-

Finn slams his hand on Vrildoxx’s desk.

Finn (Angrily, Cutting Him Off): Ahch-To was obliterated!

Vrildoxx spins around, glaring.

Vrildoxx: Ahch-To is NOT Republic Soil!

Lyn narrows her eyes at Vrildoxx.

Lyn (Angrily): The Skywalkers are allied with The Republic. An attack on them is an attack on us!

Vrildoxx faces her.

Vrildoxx: There has been no treaty signed, nothing official but the word of a woman who turned her back on us. There are rules, Mrs Dameron. Follow them. Or I will find someone who can.

Lyn goes silent at the threat. Rey glances at her, then steps forward.

Rey (Barley Hidden Anger): I never turned my back on you. I extended my help to everyone, whether or not they were a part of The New Republic.

Vrildoxx glares at her, as he approaches his desk.

Vrildoxx (Firm): And now you must pay the price of that choice.

Rey goes silent, then looks down at the ground.

Rey (Quietly): If you agree to help us… then I will bring The Skywalkers back under the jurisdiction of The Republic.

Vrildoxx shakes his head.

Vrildoxx (Firm): You betrayed The Republic and her interests for your own gain. You do not get to decide to ask for forgiveness at your convenience. The Resistance may prepare for an attack, but they are NOT to engage. The peace treaty signing with Mandalore is in three days. I will not have you jeopardise this signing by initiating war. Now if that is all, you are dismissed.

INT – MILLENNIUM FALCON – COMMON AREA – MORNING

The camera cuts to the common area of The Millennium Falcon, as Rey screams, punching the wall, denting it.

She pulls her hand away, revealing blood, dripping down her hand.

She groans in frustration and flops into a chair.

Chewbacca kneels beside her, and holds out his hand, growling softly.

Rey sighs, and extends her bleeding hand, as Chewbacca begins to carefully wrap a bandage around it. 

Rey (Quietly): I don’t know what I’m going to do Chewie. They have Leia, and she could be dead by now.

Chewbacca gives a soft growl, as R2-D2 rolls up beside her, beeping.

Rey smiles sadly at both of them.

Rey: Thanks, guys.

They look towards the ramp as Finn and Lyn step back on board.

Finn: I’m sorry Rey. We argued with him for another hour, but he isn’t budging.

Rey growls.

Rey (Barley Contained Rage): I really hate that man.

Finn snorts in amusement, and Lyn glares at him briefly. Finn rubs his head in embarrassment as Lyn turns back to Rey.

Lyn: I’d say he has the best interest of The Republic at heart, but he really doesn’t.

Lyn sits beside Rey and takes her non-bandaged hand.

Lyn: Listen, it won’t be long before The Sith make their next move, and I can nearly guarantee that it will be against The Republic. There is hardly anyone else to attack, and when they do, we’ll be there, and we can finally legally help you.

Rey gives Lyn a defeated look.

Rey (Whispering): And how many innocent people are going to die before you can help?

Lyn stays silent. She doesn’t have an answer.

Chapter Text

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

The Millennium Falcon enters the atmosphere of Ajan Kloss.

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – HANGER BAY – MIDDAY

The camera cuts to the hanger bay of The Resistance as The Millennium Falcon lands.

Joshuan Wolensum walks past the camera, approaching the ship.

The ramp lowers, and Rey, Finn, Lyn, Chewbacca, and R2 walk down the ramp.

Joshuan Wolensum (Resigned): Those aren’t “we were successful” faces.

Lyn shakes her head.

Lyn: We’re forbidden to act until Republic soil is attacked.

Joshuan sighs.

Joshuan: Well, there’s something you all need to see anyway.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE COMMAND – MIDDAY

The camera cuts to The Resistance command room, as Joshuan leads everyone inside.

Mara Jade, Admiral Kaydel Connix, Natjack Doragamb, and Rose Solo stand up from the hologram table.

Rose Solo: Mum? Did they agree to help?

Rey shakes her head, and Rose looks disappointed.

Mara growls in frustration.

Mara Jade (Frustrated): Can’t they see reason?

Finn shakes his head, as Lyn takes a seat at the table.

Finn: Vrildoxx is firm in his decision. Joshuan, what do you need to show us?

Joshuan gestures to Connix.

Joshuan: Connix knows more than I do.

Connix nods, as she presses a few buttons on the table.

Admiral Connix: While you were gone, we received this heavily encrypted message. Rey, it’s addressed to you.

Rey looks confused as she steps closer to the table.

Connix presses the last button, and a hologram of Doctor Daralex Presell appears on the table.

Rey (Quietly): Dad?

Rose glances at the hologram.

Rose (Confused): That’s our Grandpa?

Rey glances at her.

Rey: Technically.

Rose looks confused.

Rose: What does that mean?

Rey (Hesitating): I’ll… explain another time. Play it.

Connix nods and presses the play button.

Daralex (Hologram): I am sending this message to The Resistance, with the hope that it might reach Rey Solo, The Grandmaster of The Skywalkers. Rey, my light in this darkness, you must forgive me. Your daughter has been captured and brought to our home base of Kamino. I don’t know what The Supreme Leader wants with her, but it is nothing good. I must tell you. Attack Kamino, catch them unaware and destroy this threat quickly. I can only hope this message reaches you, so I might have a chance of some redemption after a lifetime of sins. I repeat. Bring The Resistance to Kamino, and destroy The Sith threat once and for all.

The hologram pauses, the message finished. Rey stays silent for a long moment, thinking. Everyone around the room watches her reaction carefully. After a moment, Rey’s face turns firm.

Rey (Firm): Kamino… I’m going.

Lyn shakes her head.

Lyn: Rey, don’t be stupid. It’s clearly a trap.

Rey snaps her head to Lyn, anger in her face.

Rey (Shouting): What reason would my father have to lie!?

Lyn (Remaining Calm): Rey, listen, you don’t know your father. Your emotions are clouding your judgement. He has been at the heart of this attack, and given what you and I both know about you, it wouldn’t surprise me if he…

She glances at Rose, Connix, and Joshuan, who looks confused.

Lyn: Well. You know exactly where I’m going with this. I will not send my forces to Kamino, until we know for certain it isn’t a trap.

Rey (Angrily): Listen to me, Lyn. They have Leia! I can’t stand by, waiting for them to kill her! I’m going, and you can’t stop me!

Lyn looks tired.

Lyn (Tired): Your right, I can’t stop you. But if you go, you go alone. The Resistance cannot help you. Not yet.

Rey growls in anger and turns storming out of the room, tears falling down her face.

Rose goes to follow her, but Finn puts a hand on her shoulder.

Finn: Don’t worry kid, I’ll talk to her.

Finn turns and follows Rey from the room.

Lyn sighs, and then clutches her head, stumbling backwards.

Connix And Joshuan (Shouting): Lyn!

Both Joshuan and Connix move, catching her before she falls backwards.

After a moment Lyn rightens herself, shaking her head.

Lyn (Tired): I’m ok, sorry.

Joshuan (Concerned): What’s wrong?

Lyn sits down.

Lyn: It’s just stress, don’t worry about it.

Joshuan smiles sadly.

Joshuan: It’s kind of my job to worry about you.

Lyn smiles at him sadly.

Lyn: It’s ok. Can you go and apologise to Rey for me? I want to help, but there are rules I must follow, even if I hate them.

Joshuan nods then shares a look with Chewbacca, who moves with him to leave the room.  

Rose and Mara Jade share a look as they watch them go.

Chapter Text

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – LAKE – MIDDAY

The camera cuts to the lake of Ajan Kloss, the same lake where General Leia Organa became one with The Force.

Rey stands on the shore, her arms crossed as she looks out into the lake. Tears fall down her face.

Finn steps up beside her, remaining silent.

Rey (Quietly): I have to go Finn.

Finn nods.

Finn: Lyn wants to help, but there are rules. All I’m asking is that you stop and think for a few moments. Maybe we go to Kamino, and it’s not a trap, and we save Leia. But it’s more likely we do go, and it’s a trap, and Leia isn’t even there.

Rey stays silent, then turns and begins to make her way up towards The Resistance. Finn follows her.

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE BASE OUTSKIRTS – MIDDAY

Rey walks back up the path, heading towards the hanger bays. Finn runs up beside her.

Finn: Rey!

Finn grabs her arm, and she spins around, rage on her face.

Rey (Angrily): Those monsters have my daughter, Finn! If there is even a chance that she’s there, I have to take it!

She pulls her arm out of his grasp and points towards The Resistance base.

Rey (Pleading): What would you do if they had taken Lyn?!

Finn goes still, and turns, looking out towards The Resistance base.

INT – RESISTANCE BASE – MIDDAY

The camera zooms in on Lyn, with a crowd of Resistance soldier’s around her, as she gives orders, preparing The Resistance for the next attack, though we can’t hear them.

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE BASE OUTSKIRTS – MIDDAY

The camera cuts back to Finn as he turns back to Rey, a guilty look on his face.

Finn (Quietly, Firm): I’d burn down the whole Galaxy to find her.

Rey nods.

Rey (Calmer): Exactly. You know I need to do this, no matter the risks.

Finn breaths in then exhales and nods.

Finn: I understand. But I’m coming with you. Leia’s my apprentice. If I’m not going to rescue her, what kind of mentor would I be?

Rey smiles, and steps forward, hugging Finn.

Rey (Whispering): Thank you.

Joshuan (Off-Screen): You’re not going alone.

Rey and Finn part, turning to see Joshuan, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 approaching them.

Joshuan: Skywalker’s lookout for one another. Lyn’s gonna be pissed, but I’m going to help you get your daughter back, Rey. I promise.

Chewbacca growls in agreement, and R2 gives a few happy beeps as he shakes in excitement.

Rey smiles and reaches up drying her tears.

Rey: Thank you. All of you.

INT – RESISTANCE BASE – MIDDAY

The camera cuts back to Lyn, as we hear the sound of a ship powering up, and people shouting.

Lyn sighs, closing her eyes. Connix, Rose, Mara, and Natjack turn around to the disturbance.

Lieutenant Gigs (Off-Screen): General!

Lyn opens her eyes and turns around to face Lieutenant Gigs.

Gigs: The Millennium Falcon has launched without clearance.

Lyn: Let them go.

Gigs (Confused): General?

Lyn (Tired): Just… let them go.

Rose turns to Mara and Natjack.

Rose: Come on, they’re going to need help!

Lyn snaps her gaze to them.

Lyn (Firm): NO!

Rose, Natjack, and Mara freeze, turning to her.

Lyn: None of you are going anywhere.

Rose glares at Lyn, stepping up to her challengingly.

Connix glances between them both.

Rose (Muttering): You don’t hold any authority over me, General.

Lyn narrows her eyes.

Lyn (Firm): Actually, I do. Without your masters or parents here, I am your legal guardian. You will remain here, and that is an order.

Rose and Lyn continue to glare at each other.

Mara steps up and taps Rose on the arm.

Mara (Quietly): Rose. Let it go. Come on, I wanted to check on Han anyway.

Rose glares at Lyn for a moment more, before she turns away, following Mara towards the med bay.

Natjack (Concerned): Lyn?

Lyn sighs, facing the young Skywalker Knight.

Lyn: I’m ok Natjack. Go with them.

Natjack nods and follows after Rose and Mara Jade.

Connix glances at Lyn in concern.

Connix (Concerned): Lyn?

Lyn faces her.

Lyn: Have I made the right decision? What’s the point of following rules if I know they’re wrong?

Connix shrugs.

Connix: You’re the boss Lyn. I can offer you advice, or my opinion, but at the end of the day, all of these people are your responsibility. It’s up to you to make the hard choices, and try and get as many people home safe as you can.

Lyn shamefully looks away.

Lyn (Frustrated, Then Depressed): Sometimes I just wish someone else could make the hard choices for me. I’ve been the leader of The Resistance for less than a couple of months, and despite my Dad’s preparing me for this my whole life… I… I just don’t know what I’m doing. I feel like I’m failing everyone.

Connix gives a warm smile and puts a hand on her shoulder.

Connix (Comforting): That’s the price of being a leader. You're always going to doubt yourself, but you need to remain strong for those who look up to you for guidance. Just remember you can always fall back on me, Poe, Finn, and Joshuan if you need us.

Lyn stays silent but nods in thanks, self-doubt still evident, but slightly more reassured. Connix smiles warmly at her.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE BASE – MED BAY – MIDDAY

The camera cuts to The Resistance medical bay, overlooking Han Solo Jr, asleep on a bed.

Suddenly his eyes open as he gasps.

Han sits upwards quickly, clutching his head, as he moves his legs trying to get out of the bed. His dizziness, however, makes him fall out of the bed, landing on the floor out of view.

His head shoots up beside the bed, as he looks around in confusion.

Han (Confused): Uh… where the Kriff am I?

He stands up, untangling himself from his bedsheets, and he glances at the bedside table, where his belt and blaster lie. He picks both up, putting the belt back around his waist and putting the blaster back in his holster.

He turns, seeing his jacket hanging over the back of a chair, and picks it up throwing it over his shoulders.

 The doors slide open behind him, and he spins pulling out his blaster.

Mara (Off-Screen): Han wait it’s me!

Han tilts his head as he slightly lowers his blaster.

Han (Confused): Mara?

Mara enters the room, with her hands held up slightly.

Mara: Easy tiger, don’t need you shooting a doctor or something.

Han chuckles and puts his blaster back in his holster.

Han: Hey, it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been knocked out and awoken being kidnapped. Do you remember the incident on Florrum with those pirates?

Mara chuckles, approaching him and giving him a quick kiss on the lips.

Mara: It’s good to see you up. How are you feeling?

Han shrugs then clutches his head.

Han (Groggily): I’ve gotta hell of a headache. Speaking of, why are you here? I haven’t seen you in almost a month?

Mara looks surprised for a brief moment.

Mara (Carefully): Han? What’s the last thing you remember?

Han shrugs.

Han (Confused): I was heading to Jakku with my dad on a secret mission. Why?

They hear something, and both turn, seeing Rose standing in the doorway, with her eyes wide.

Han (Confused): Rose?

Rose gulps.

Rose (Voice-Shaking): Han… I’m so so sorry! I didn’t mean for-

Han (Interrupting Her): Hey! It's ok, seriously! I’m not even sure what you’re talking about… wait, where even are we?

Natjack enters the room behind Rose.

Han (Confused): Natjack?

Natjack: Hey. Good to see you up.

Han looks even more confused.

Han: Aren’t you meant to be on Ajan Kloss, and Mara, what’s with the cape? Wait, where is Leia? If Rose is here, why isn’t she? I’d have thought she would be at least the second one here when I woke up. 

Mara, Rose, and Natjack all share a worried glance at each other, then turn back to Han.

Mara (Carefully): We’ve… gotta tell you some things.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE BASE – BEDROOM – MIDDAY

The camera cuts to Mara and Rose’s shared bedroom in The Resistance base.

Han is pacing nervously in front of the exit. After a moment, he turns to Rose.

Han: Ok, you’re certain that Leia is still alive?

Rose nods.

Rose (Quietly): The Dyad shattered, but I can still feel part of her on the other end, even though it's weak.

Han nods then slams his fist into his palm.

Han (Taking Charge): Great, Mum’s going to need help. Let’s go.

Rose shakes her head.

Rose: We need a ship and a pilot. We can’t leave.

Han gives an offended look.

Han (Offended): We’ve got a pilot. Me!

Rose gives Han a look. Mara looks at Han.

Mara: We still need a ship.

Han shrugs.

Han: We’ll just borrow one from The Resistance.

Natjack looks between them all, bewildered.

Natjack (Shocked): Lyn forbade us from going. You did hear her, didn’t you?

Han glances at him, then back to Rose and Mara.

Han: Alright then, we’ll just… steal a ship with the intention of returning it.

Mara smirks, standing up.

Mara: Sounds like a plan.

Rose nods.

Rose: Let’s do this.

They begin to move to the door, passing Natjack.

Natjack: Are you guys even listening to yourselves?! You’re just going to steal a ship from the guys who saved and sheltered you?!

Han shrugs.

Han: Pretty much.

Mara glances at Natjack.

Mara: Either come with us Natjack or don’t. It’s up to you.

Han, Mara, and Rose leave the room. Natjack looks at the door, then back to the beds.

Natjack (Muttering): I should just stay here, stay out of trouble.

He looks back at the door.

Natjack: Dammit.

He jogs out the door.

Natjack (Calling): Hey guys, wait for me!

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

The camera cuts to the atmosphere as a Resistance shuttle flies into space, and after a few moments, shoots off entering Hyperspace.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE COMMAND – MIDDAY

Lyn sits at the command table, with her head in one hand.

Lieutenant Gigs knocks on the door and stands to attention.

Gigs: General. The Skywalkers stole a shuttle.

Lyn looks up at him.

Lyn: How? No clearance was given, why didn’t the alarms go off?

Gigs: Maybe they disabled the alarms?

Lyn narrows her eyes.

Lyn: You mean to tell me, that a group of kids disabled the security systems with no one noticing?

Gigs pales a little.

Gigs (Questioningly): Yes General?

Lyn sighs.

Lyn: Lock down the hanger bay. I’ve had enough mutiny for one day.

Gigs nods.

Gigs: Yes General.

Lyn looks towards Connix, who stands reading screens on one of the consoles.

Connix glances at Lyn with a blank look, and gives a small shrug, before turning back to the console.

Lyn narrows her eyes in suspicion, before turning away again.

The camera cuts to in front of Connix, as she gives a small mischievous smile, still looking at the screens.

INT – THE REDEMPTION – COCKPIT – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the cockpit of The Redemption, as Poe turns to Ben.

Poe: We’re about an hour out from Ajan Kloss.

Ben doesn’t respond, his face confused.

Ben (Quietly): Rey’s not on Ajan Kloss.

Poe blinks in surprise.

Poe: What?

Ben (Confused): Kamino? Why is she going to Kamino?

Poe looks even more confused as Ben glances at him.

Poe: Is this, the whole dyad thing?

Ben: Yeah. I can sense where she is. Call Lyn. Find out what’s happening.

Poe nods and flicks a switch on the dash. 

Poe: This is Poe Dameron, hailing The Resistance. Does anyone copy?

A moment passes.

Lyn (Over-Comm, Tired): Hey Dad? Where are you guys?

Poe: Lyn? We’re on our way back now.

Lyn sighs over the comm.

Lyn (Over-Comm): Don’t bother guys. We received a transmission from Rey’s Father. Leia has supposedly been taken to Kamino.

Ben sighs, leaning back in his chair, already knowing where this is going.

Ben (Resigned): Let me guess. Rey’s gone by herself.

Lyn: Rey disobeyed orders and has headed there now. She will need backup, and I have been ordered by Vrildoxx to not interfere.

Poe and Ben glance at each other.

Poe: Of course she did.

Ben smirks.

Ben: Thanks, Lyn. We’ll head there now.

Lyn (Over-Comm): Good luck.

A beep signals the end of the transmission.

Poe: BB-8!

BB-8 rolls forward, chirping.

Ben: Set a course for Kamino. Rey’s going to need help.

EXT – SPACE – KAMINO

The Millennium Falcon leaves Hyperspace, appearing before the massive water planet of Kamino.

Seven Star Destroyers, including The Calamity, Allegiant General Pryde’s Dreadnought, hover in the Atmosphere.

INT – MILLENNIUM FALCON – COCKPIT – EVENING

The camera cuts to inside The Millennium Falcon. Chewbacca and Rey sit in the pilot seats, and Finn and Joshuan sit behind them. R2 is behind them, plugged into the wall.

Joshuan turns to R2.

Joshuan: R2? Are you cloaking our signal?

R2 gives an affirmative beep.

Joshuan: Great. Chewie, fly us low just in case.

Chewie gives a short growl and nods. He pilots the ship down towards the atmosphere, flying below The Star Destroyers in Atmosphere.

Rey is sitting silent, her eyes wide as they approach the planet.

Finn glances at her in concern.

Finn: Rey? Are you ok?

Rey slightly shakes her head.

Rey (Quietly): A planet in eternal storms. Why did it have to be storms?

Chewie growls softly, patting her shoulder for a moment, before going back to concentrating on his task. Joshuan turns to Rey in concern.

Joshuan: Rey. You can stay on the ship if you need to. Finn and I can handle this.

Rey shakes her head.

Rey (Quietly): I wasn’t strong enough to save Leia on Ahch-To. I need to do this.

Finn and Joshuan glance at each other, then Finn nods to Rey.

Finn: Alright. But we’re here for you.

Rey turns back to them, a soft smile on her face.

Rey: Thank you.

EXT – KAMINO – EVENING 

The Falcon flies down towards the Kamino laboratory, landing on one of the landing pads as the storm rages outside.

INT – MILLENNIUM FALCON – COCKPIT – EVENING

Everyone looks out the window towards the fortress.

Joshuan: Ok, we’re here. What’s the plan?

Rey shrugs.

Rey: I’m kind of winging it from here.

Joshuan turns to her in shock.

Joshuan (Exclaiming): Seriously! We’re here and we don’t even have a plan!

Finn chuckles.

Finn: Don’t worry Joshuan. Some of our best plans have been improvised. Remember the Rathtars Rey?

Rey smiles, as Chewbacca gives a low whine of annoyance.

Rey: That was a long time ago.

Joshuan shakes his head at the two friends.

Joshuan: Look, we’re here, so are we going in guns blazing and Lightsabers twirling or…

He trails off as the doors to the halls of Kamino open.

Three people begin to walk out of the door towards the Falcon, a Sith Eternal officer, and two Elite First Order Stormtroopers, wearing black and red armour.

Finn and Rey smirk at each other and turn back to Joshuan.

Joshuan shakes his head.

Joshuan (Muttering): There is no way this is going to work.

Chapter Text

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

The camera cuts to inside the white halls of Kamino, focusing just in front of the helmet of an elite Stormtrooper.

Joshuan (Muttering): I can’t believe this is working.

Rey, who wears the officer's uniform glances back at him. Her long hair has been tied up and tucked under her cap.

Rey (Hissing): Quiet!

Finn (Hissing): Shush!

Finn is wearing the other Elite First Order Stormtrooper armour.  R2-D2 trails behind them, except he has been covered in an almost black graphite, causing him to stand out against the white halls of Kamino like a menacing shade.

Joshuan’s and Finn’s Lightsabers are seen briefly, hidden in their armour. Rey’s lightsaber is nowhere to be seen.

The group passes by a patrol of two Mandalorians and Sith Troopers. The Sith Troopers nod respectfully at Rey, who nods back, and they continue down the hallways. Joshuan’s head turns, watching them carefully until they turn a corner.

Joshuan (Quietly): Do you think Chewie’s going to be ok on The Falcon?

INT – MILLENNIUM FALCON – COMMON AREA – EVENING

The camera cuts back to the common area on The Falcon. The officer, as well as the two Stormtroopers, stripped of their uniforms, are seated, tied up, and knocked out.

The officer groans, as he begins to open his eyes.

The camera cuts to Chewbacca’s face as he roars.

The camera cuts back to the officer as he screams, and Chewie backhands his head, knocking him out again.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

The camera cuts back to the trio as Rey smirks.

Rey: I’m sure he’ll be fine. Quick, in here!

They pass through a doorway.

INT – KAMINO – STORAGE ROOM – EVENING

The door seals shut behind them, revealing a small storage room. Joshuan and Finn reach up, removing their helmets. Rey turns to R2.

Rey: R2, jump on these consoles. Try and find Leia and my parents.

R2 beeps in confirmation, and approaches the console, plugging himself in. Images begin to sort through the screen, as R2 tries to find his task.

Joshuan glances at the door.

Joshuan: I’ve gotta bad feeling about this.

Finn nods in agreement, and they turn back to the console as R2 begins to beep excitedly.

They approach the console, where R2 has pulled up a map. Two bright red dots flash on the map, on opposite ends of the facilities.

Rey: The dungeons, and my parent’s lab.

Finn shakes his head.

Finn: R2, bring up the surveillance.

R2 beeps and footage of the lab appears, but the other camera is only a black screen.

In the lab, Doctor Daralex Presell sits, hunched over his workbench as he types on a computer.

Finn (Confused): Why does the prison not have any footage?

R2 gives a low whine, as he begins to flick through the different cameras in the prison. The numbers of the camera change, but all of them remain on a black screen. Joshuan shakes his head in disbelief.

Joshuan: What kind of prison has no surveillance?

Rey shrugs.

Rey: The kind where the occupants are top secret. We need to save both of them.

Finn shakes his head.

Finn: Then we need to split up. As soon it’s made aware that one of them is missing, the entire place will go on lockdown.

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: We’ll be sitting ducks.

Rey glances at the footage again.

Rey: I’ll go to the prison.

Finn shakes his head.

Finn: I don’t think that’s a good idea.

Rey turns to him in confusion.

Finn: Think about it, your parents don’t know Joshuan or me. They won’t trust us. If you want them to leave with us, then you need to be the one to rescue them.

Rey frowns.

Rey: But Leia…

Joshuan (Cutting Her Off): Knows us, she’ll come with us. Your parents won’t.

Rey goes silent for a moment.

Finn: Rey, if Leia’s there, we’ll get her. I promise.

After a moment, Rey sighs, and nods.

Rey: Thank you. We’ll meet up at The Falcon.

Joshuan and Finn nod and put back on their helmets.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

The camera cuts to Rey Solo walking through another hallway. R2 trails in front of her, guiding her to her parent’s laboratory.

They come to a door, and R2 gives a happy whistle, as he slots into the door, unlocking it. The door opens, and Rey steps inside.

INT – KAMINO – PRESELL LABORATORY – EVENING

Rey steps inside the lab, and freezes. The camera pans around, showing Daralex sitting with his back to them at the end of the room.

Daralex (Angrily): How many times must I tell you people! We are not to be disturbed!

Rey opens her mouth, closes it again, speechless. This moment she’s waited for her entire life stays still for a few moments.

Rey (Quietly): Dad?

Rey’s voice shatters the silence of the moment as Daralex angrily spins around as he speaks.

Daralex (Angrily): Who do you think you are calling me-

He goes silent, his mouth opens mid-word as his eyes widen, staring at Rey.

Rey removes her hat, letting her ponytail fall.

Rey (Quietly): Dad it’s me.

Daralex slowly stands up, his expression that of shock.

Daralex (Calling): Lillali! Get in here!

A side room opens up, as Doctor Lillali enters, with an annoyed expression.

Lillali (Annoyed): What is it now Dara-

She goes silent, seeing Rey.

Rey (Quietly): Mum?

Lillali steps towards Rey slowly, shock on her face as she slowly reaches up, cupping Rey’s cheek.

Lillali (Whispering): Is it true?

Rey smiles, leaning into her mother's touch.

Rey (Quietly): It’s me, mum.

Both women burst into tears, as Lillali pulls Rey into a hug.

Rey laughs in joy, hugging her mother.

They pull apart, and Daralex steps forward, his own tears on his face.

Daralex (In Shock): Rey?

Rey smiles.

Rey: I’m here Dad.

Daralex laughs, and steps forward, hugging Rey, who returns the hug.

After a moment he pulls back, holding her shoulders as he looks her up and down.

Daralex (Excitedly): You're so big!

Rey laughs, opens her arms, pulling both her mother and father into another hug.

The family falls to their knees, hugging and crying with each other as they are reunited.

After a long moment, Daralex pulls back, panic on his face.

Daralex (Panicking): You shouldn’t be here! How did you find us?

Rey’s joy turns to confusion.

Rey (Confused): You sent The Resistance a message, telling me that my daughter was here.

Daralex and Lillali’s eyes go wide, as they look at each other.

Daralex (Whispering): That was…

Lillali turns to Rey.

Lillali (Fearfully): Rey… listen, we are unbelievably happy to see you, but you need to understand… we didn’t send a message. We don’t even have access to any communications.

Rey pulls back in shock.

Rey: No, that’s impossible. It was you.

Daralex shakes his head.

Daralex: What did your daughter look like?

Rey: She has brown hair, and would have been wearing brown robes.

Daralex and Lillali look at each other with fear on their faces. They turn back to Rey.

Daralex: Rey, listen, the girl you're describing was here, but… I’m so sorry.

Rey (Confused): Why are you sorry?

Lillali shakes her head.

Lillali: Rey, your daughter is as good as dead. You need to leave, now. You’re in danger!

Rey shakes her head, in denial.

Rey (Yelling): No! Your wrong, Rose would have felt it if Leia were dead!

Daralex opens his mouth to respond when they hear a loud beeping.

Daralex: Quickly! You need to hide!

Rey: What why!

The three stand up, as R2 gives a loud beep in a warning. Daralex and Lillali quickly dry their tears on their capes and face the door as it opens.

Darth Chryx, The Sith Warrior with the four golden mechanical arms steps into the room.

The warrior that kidnapped Leia.

Chryx’s gaze turns to Rey, his helmet hiding his expression.

Darth Chryx: You. Who permitted you to be in here?

Daralex quickly steps forward.

Daralex: I needed a hand. Dropped my glasses under the table. She happened to be passing by.

Darth Chryx’s helmet tilts in suspicion.

Chryx: Leave us. Now.

Rey glances at her parents and begins to move to the entrance to the room.

Lillali turns to Darth Chryx.

Lillali (Respectfully): How can we help you, Lord Chryx?

Chryx stays silent for a few moments.

Chryx (Bored): Orders. It’s nothing personal.

Rey pauses behind Darth Chryx and glances at R2.

One of the hatches on R2’s head slides open, revealing the hilt of her lightsaber.

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other, then turn back to Darth Chryx.

Daralex (Quietly): Loose ends?

Darth Chryx nods.

Chryx: Just two.

Darth Chryx activates his lightsaber spear, its red blade lighting up the white room.

Suddenly, another Lightsaber is activated, as Rey swings her yellow blade at Darth Chryx’s back.

One of his extra arms swings around, activating another red blade at the end of it, blocking the blow before Rey could slice Darth Chryx in half.

Chryx spins around, Force Lightning cackling in his free hand, hitting Rey and sending her flying back out the door, hitting the wall in the hallway.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Rey gasps in pain, still injured from her battle on Ahch-To.

Darth Chryx laughs as he steps into the large hallway, his bottom arms digging into the ground, raising him, as his other arm activates another lightsaber, making three total blades.

Darth Chryx: Ah, the last Jedi. You’re here sooner than expected.

Rey growls and stands up, activating the second end of her blade.

Rey (Angrily): Where is my daughter!?

Darth Chryx chuckles.

Chryx: Ah, young Rose Solo. She was a fine fight, but she was defeated in the end.

Rey’s face turns to confusion.

Rey (Confused): Rose?

Chryx chuckles.

Chryx: Don’t worry Jedi, you’ll be reunited with her SOON!

On the last word, one of Chryx’s lightsaber arms shoots forward, and Rey ducks to the side, as the lightsaber impales itself in the wall, just where her head was.

Darth Chryx swings his other arm, which Rey deflects, before stabbing forward with his spear. Rey rolls to the side, swinging her blade at one of the arms supporting Chryx.

The yellow blade bounces off the mechanical arm, and Rey’s face turns to confusion.

Suddenly one of the other clawed arms reaches forward, grabbing her around the waist.

Chryx spins, pulling Rey with him and throwing her down the hall. Rey slides across the ground, groaning in pain as she comes to a stop.

Chryx (Smugly): Captain Vhina may be extremely annoying, and too smart for her own good, but allying with Mandalore has certainly given us some benefits, such as access to their supply of Beskar.

Rey growls, standing back up.

Chryx laughs and the two Lightsabers on his arms begin to spin as he slowly approaches her, giving the appearance of General Grievous’s iconic attack.

Rey slowly backs away, and after a few moments, stabs forward. Chryx blocks the attack with one arm, swinging down at Rey with the other.

Rey spins to the side, allowing the blade to cut through the floor, as she takes another swing at Chryx, who blocks with his spear.

Chryx takes another swing with his arm, and Rey deflects it, shattering the massive window beside them.

One of Chryx’s clawed arms quickly comes around, hitting Rey to the side, and she is knocked out the window, falling to the ocean below.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Darth Chryx steps to the window, looking down.

EXT – KAMINO – EVENING

The camera cuts to Rey as she falls towards the ocean below. She takes a deep breath when suddenly something catches her just before she hits the ocean.

She is hanging upside down, and she looks up to see one of Chryx’s claws grabbing hold of her foot.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Chryx raises her back up to eye level.

Chryx: Let’s fight on MY turf!

EXT – KAMINO – HALLWAY ROOF – EVENING

Chryx throws Rey upwards, and she spins through the air, before landing on the roof of the hallways.

She yelps as she begins to slide down the roof again, and rolls, managing to grab a hold of a ledge sticking out. She pulls herself to her feet and hears something slamming into metal.

She turns around, already soaking wet in the storm, to see Darth Chryx using his arms to climb up to the roof with her.

Darth Chryx: It would be no use killing you yet girl, The Supreme Leader wants that honour personally.

Rey reactivates her blades, roaring in rage as she runs forward.

Darth Chryx extends one of his clawed arms forward, and Rey slides on the wet roof, sliding under the arm as it clutches the roof behind her.

She slides towards him, taking a swing at his legs, but his other clawed arm lifts him upwards, so she slides under him completely.

She digs her lightsaber into the roof, cutting through it as she comes to a stop. Rey stands back up, and briefly slips again, before righting herself.

Chryx laughs again, as he rushes towards her, using his clawed arms to grab into the metal in the roof, keeping hold so he doesn’t slip.

He sends one of his arms flying at her, and Rey slips to the side, looking at it as it just barely misses her.

The camera focuses on the arm, showing that there are gaps in the plating, allowing for the exposed wires to be seen.

Rey narrows her eyes, as she brings her blade up, knocking aside the other lightsaber arm.

She begins to charge towards Darth Chryx, who sends another of his lightsaber arms at her, impaling the ground as she flips over it, and then he throws another clawed arm at her. It digs into the ground just behind her, and as it raises up again, she jumps, grabbing hold of it and also being lifted into the sky.

As the arm flings upwards, she lets go, flying upwards into the sky, and deactivating the blue side of her lightsaber.

As she falls back down, she brings her yellow blade over her head, slicing downwards through the exposed wiring on the clawed arm.

She cuts straight through, landing on the ground and rolling, sliding down the roof a little further behind Darth Chryx.

Chryx turns to face her and raises what remains of his arm. Only half of it remains, and the exposed wiring sparks dangerously.

Darth Chryx growls in annoyance and deactivates one of his other lightsaber arms, as another claw extends out of where the blade once was.

Behind him, on the curved roof of the lab, lightning hits one of the conductors, and Rey flinches at it.

Darth Chryx, noticing her reaction, laughs and begins to make his way towards the curved roof.

Rey begins to charge after him, rain and lightning clashing around her.

EXT – KAMINO – FACILITY’S ROOF – EVENING

Darth Chryx uses his arms to leap through the air, landing on the large lightning conductor.

His arms grab hold of the tower as he turns around, raising one of his hands.

Lightning flashes down, hitting the tower. Darth Chryx yells as the lightning funnels through his arms, entering his body and being fired out of his hand.

Rey leaps to the side, the lightning barely missing her.

She begins to run around the large, coned roof, as Darth Chryx follows above her. Lightning hits just before Rey, and she freezes, her eyes wide in terror.

She spins around, just as one of Chryx’s claws grabs her, lifting her upwards in a death grip. Her lightsaber drops to the roof, disarmed.

Rey is lifted towards Chryx, at eye level.

Chryx: You cannot defeat me. I am more powerful than you will ever be!

Rey growls.

Rey (Annoyed): Do you know how many people have told me that?

Chryx roars, throwing Rey downwards, into the cone-shaped roof. She begins to slide down the roof, as Darth Chryx rips two parts of the roof off with his claws.

Rey looks up just as Chryx throws them, and she reaches out with her hand, using The Force to deflect one to just below her as she slides. It digs into the roof, and she lands on it, using it as a launchpad to leap into the air, spinning as she does, grabbing the second piece of metal with The Force, and spinning it around, and launching it back at Darth Chryx.

Chryx gasps and goes to move out of the way, but his arm using a lightsaber is shredded in half, and he yells falling from the tower and sliding out of view.

Rey lands and rolls down the last bit of the cone. She quickly rolls over, looking up to where Darth Chryx was, finding him missing.

She beings to push against the ground, trying to stand up, when suddenly one of the golden claws appears, grabbing her by the wrists.

She screams in pain, as Darth Chryx lifts himself into view, having hidden on the wall.

He activates his lightsaber spear.

Chryx: This is the end of the line, Jedi!

Rey growls as she is lifted.

Rey: I’m no Jedi!

She kicks out, pushing herself off Darth Chryx’s head, causing him to drop her in surprise as he stumbles back.

She lands on the ground and reaches out her hand. Her lightsaber flies back into her hand as she charges forwards, the yellow blade glowing brightly in the dark storm.

Chryx sends another claw at her, and she spins to the side, slicing through its wiring. Chryx screams in rage, now with only one remaining arm that he can hold onto the roof with.

Rey begins to swing at him, using her advantage to beat him backwards, slicing into his Beskar armour and not giving him the opportunity to fight back.

Chryx desperately tries to fight back, but Rey’s rage is beginning to overpower him.

After a few moments, Chryx sees an opening, and punches out with his other hand, lightning hitting Rey and sending her flying backwards, back to the roof of the hallway from before.

EXT – KAMINO – HALLWAY ROOF – EVENING

Rey lies in pain, struggling to breathe as she shakes.

Darth Chryx leaps from the cone roof, landing behind her, as he begins to move towards her slowly.

Rey sits up, and a strike of lightning hits nearby. She flinches, turning to it, when another lightning strike goes off. She begins to hyperventilate, as the storm around her becomes worse. She is hardly aware of Darth Chryx approaching behind her.

More lightning crashes nearby, causing Rey to scream, her lightsaber deactivating as she drops it. It lies on the roof in front of her, as she kneels over, crying in fear.

Darth Chryx is almost upon her, as he raises his lightsaber spear.

??? (Voice, Extremely Quiet): Rey…

Rey doesn’t move, not hearing the voice.

??? (Voice, Louder): Rey!

Rey looks up.

Rey (Voice Shaking): Ben?

Ben (Voice): I’m almost at Kamino Rey! Hang on!

Rey sees the flash of red, and she turns, her eyes wide as Darth Chryx swings downwards at her.

Suddenly Chryx grunts as something hits him in the back, and he stumbles, his blow missing Rey.

EXT – KAMINO – PRESELL LABORATORY – EVENING

The camera cuts to the window of the Presell Laboratory.

Daralex leans out of the window, a sniper rifle in his hand as he aims again, and fires.

Daralex: Not my daughter!

EXT – KAMINO – HALLWAY ROOF – EVENING

The second shot also hits Chryx, who turns in annoyance, looking towards the window where Daralex takes another shot.

Chryx deflects the blaster bolt, growling, as he begins to approach the doctor.

Behind him, Rey rises, her lightsaber flying into her hand and activating.

Chryx turns around in confusion at the noise, as Rey swings. Chryx gasps in pain.

Rey (Angrily): That’s for taking my daughter.

Chryx takes a step backward before his head falls from his body. After a moment, his body falls to the side, sliding off the roof, crashing into the ocean below.

Rey, eyes still wide in panic, quickly cuts a hole in the roof of the hallway, and jumps down, landing in the corridor.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAY – NIGHT

As soon as she does, she falls to the side, huddling against the wall as she begins to hyperventilate again.

Lillali (Off-Screen): Rey!

Suddenly Lillali and Daralex are by her side, holding her.

Lillali: Rey, what’s wrong!

Rey shakes her head, unable to speak.

Daralex: She’s having a panic attack. Rey, listen to me.

Rey looks up at her father as he smiles calmly.

Daralex: It’s ok, you’ve defeated Darth Chryx. You don’t need to be afraid of him anymore.

Rey shakes her head.

Rey (Voice Shaking): Not… him. Lightning.

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other in confusion.

Ben (Voice): Rey?

Rey looks upwards.

Rey (Quietly): Ben?

INT – THE REDEMPTION – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Ben sits with his eyes closed, in the co-pilot seat.

Ben (Calmly): I’m almost there Rey. Tell me where you are.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAY – NIGHT

The camera cuts back to Rey.

Rey (Voice Shaking): I’m on Kamino… I’m with my parents.

Daralex and Lillali look confused, unable to hear Ben’s words.

Ben (Voice): You found them?

Rey (Voice Weak): I did.

Ben (Voice): Listen, Rey, you have to pull through this. You have to get them to safety. Can you do that? Can you get back to The Falcon? I can meet you there.

Rey stays silent for a moment, as she gulps, finally being able to start getting her breathing under control.

Rey (Weakly): Falcon. Ok.

INT – THE REDEMPTION – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Ben smiles to himself.

Ben: Good Rey. I’ll see you soon, I promise.

Ben opens his eyes, turning to Poe.

Poe glances at him.

Poe: Five minutes. Be ready for a quick bail.

Ben nods, standing up and stepping into the bedroom behind them.

INT – THE REDEMPTION – BEDROOM – NIGHT

He opens up a closet compartment and pulls out two large grey capes, rain cloaks. He clips one over his smuggler's coat and brings the other back into the cockpit.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAY – NIGHT

Rey shakily breathes out. Lillali puts a hand on her shoulder.

Lillali: Rey? Are you ok?

Rey nods.

Rey (Quietly): I am now. We have to get back to The Falcon. We can get out of here.

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other, then nod.

Daralex: Lead the way.

Rey smiles and stands back up. She turns to R2.

Rey: R2? Which is the fastest way back to The Falcon?

R2 beeps and begins to roll down the corridor. Rey, Daralex, and Lillali following behind him.

INT – KAMINO – CORRIDOR – NIGHT

Finn and Joshuan are walking down another hallway in Kamino.

Finn: Do you have any idea where we are going?

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: I told you, I memorized the map.

Finn (Muttering): I’m beginning to doubt it.

Both men are walking past a door, when suddenly they both freeze, groaning in pain clutching their heads as a low whining noise plays.

Finn (Straining): What the hell is this?

After a moment the noise ceases, and both men turn to look at the door.

Joshuan (Quietly): You feel that?

Finn nods. They glance at each other, and remove their helmets, pulling out their lightsaber’s from their armour.

Finn presses a button at the side of the door, and it opens, revealing a pitch-black room.

They activate their Lightsabers, stepping into the darkroom.

INT – KAMINO – DARKROOM – NIGHT

As they step into the room, the floor begins to light up in a pathway.

They glance at each other, then begin to walk down it.

Joshuan knocks something on his foot, and he glances down. Finn looks at him as he bends down, picking up a small white crystal.

Joshuan holds the crystal up to eye level.

Joshuan: A Kyber crystal?

Finn: It must be Leia’s.

They take another two steps down the path, and suddenly the big circle in the middle of the room lights up, and Finn gasps in shock.

In the centre of the room, lying in two halves is a body, wearing a mixture of armour and gold robes, with cut tubing extending out of the back and shoulders. The face is covered with metal plating

They approach the body and aim their lightsaber’s over its face, lighting it up. Finn becomes terrified.

Finn: It’s Snoke!

The dead eyes of the former Supreme Leader gaze back at them.

Joshuan (Confused): The guy who ruled The First Order before Ben?

Finn nods.

Joshuan shrugs and kneels beside the body.

Joshuan: Lightsaber cut from the right shoulder to the waist. Someone has already done our job for us.

Finn shakes his head in disbelief.

Finn: Something isn’t right here. This whole place should be on lockdown. Why were we allowed to just waltz in?

Joshuan looks to Finn, fear on his face.

Joshuan (Fearfully): Unless…

Finn breathes shakily.

Finn: Someone wanted us to see this.

Suddenly the door seals shut behind them, leaving the only light in the room their Lightsabers, and the floor circle light, the path also disappearing.

Finn and Joshuan stand up, holding their Lightsabers in the direction of the closed door in preparation.

Two glowing yellow Sith eyes appear in the darkness, as a BLACK lightsaber blade activates.

The unknown figure holds up the blade, lighting up their face, with a taunting smirk.

Leia Solo (Amused): FN-2187. What a pleasant surprise.

Finn (Shock): Leia?!

Leia Solo laughs, an evil, almost corrupted sound, as the lights in the room activate, brightening the room completely.

Leia is wearing dark grey robes under what appears to be black leather armour, with red streaks across her shoulders.

Joshuan looks confused.

Joshuan (Confused): Ok, WHAT!?

Suddenly, Leia dashes forward with inhuman speed, leaping through the air and swinging at Finn and Joshuan, who dodge to the side. Leia spins, slicing her black lightsaber at Finn’s face, who raises his own green blade to block the attack.

EXT – SPACE – KAMINO

The Redemption and the stolen Resistance shuttle both appear out of hyperspace at the same time, in front of the planet Kamino.

They both begin to descend towards the planet.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Han sits in the pilot seat, with Mara as his co-pilot. Rose and Natjack sit behind them.

Out the window, the city of Kamino fast approaches.

Mara: Han, down there! I see The Falcon!

Han nods.

Han: Bringing us down!

EXT – KAMINO – LANDING PAD – NIGHT

Alarms begin to blare, as The Resistance shuttle and The Redemption land beside The Falcon on the landing pad.

Chewbacca descends the ramp, his bow caster in his hands.

The Resistance shuttle doors open, and Rose, Mara, Natjack, and Han descend the steps, approaching Chewie.

Han: Hey Chewie!

Chewbacca roars and waves them over, as Ben Solo and Poe Dameron, cloaked in dark grey plastic capes exit The Redemption, running towards them.

Ben (Angrily): Rose, Mara, Han, and Natjack! You shouldn’t be here!

Han turns to face his dad.

Han: What, no good to see you awake Han?

Ben pauses before them and sighs.

Ben: I’m sorry, but your all-in danger here. You need to leave now!

Rose growls, stepping forward.

Rose (Angrily): No dad! My sister is trapped here! You need my help.

Ben looks to Rose and goes to speak.

Poe (Cutting Them Off): Guys! We have company!

Ben glances at him, and Poe points to the windows, as Sithtroopers, Stormtroopers and Mandalorians begin to take their places.

Ben (Shouting): Kriff! Find cover!

They begin to hide anywhere they can, behind barrels and crates or the landing gear of the ships, as The Sith Empire begin to fire upon them from the windows.

Ben, Mara, Natjack, and Rose activate their Lightsabers, deflecting shots, while Chewbacca, Poe, and Han bunker down behind cover, pulling out their own weapons and firing back.

Chewie aims, and fires, exploding a group of Sithtroopers and Stormtroopers near each other, causing them to fall from the window. Wilhelm scream moment.

Natjack stands in the middle, his double-bladed white lightsaber twirling around him, deflecting every shot that gets near him.

Rose hits back blaster shots, taking cover behind a crate near Poe, her lightsaber held backward as it twirls around.

Mara stands by Han, taking cover with him and deflecting any shots with her purple blade that come near them.

Ben leaps over a crate, landing beside Chewbacca, defecting a shot back at another Mandalorian as he takes cover. Suddenly the sounds of the battle fade away, as the area around him splits into a hallway.

Ben: Rey! We’re pinned down! Stay put until we can get to you!

Rey (Off-Screen, Shouting): Not an option!

Rey suddenly appears in front of Ben, her double-bladed weapon spinning around as she fights against four Sith warriors at once.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – NIGHT

Ben quickly throws his lightsaber, and as he does, his side of the dyad fades away, transitioning us to Rey’s side in the hallway. His Lightsaber impales itself in the head of a Sith Clone, who falls to the ground.

Rey spins around, ducking under the blade of a Sith Warrior.

Daralex hides behind a corner and aims his sniper at one of the three Sith.

He fires, hitting it in the shoulders as it yelps in pain. Rey spins, cutting it in half, before turning to the other two, twirling her blade to keep them back as they surround her.

R2 rolls up beside one of them, flicking out his taser gadget, shocking The Sith behind Rey.

The Sith growls in pain, spinning around and raising its lightsaber.

Sith Warrior (Enraged): You stupid little-

Rey (Shouting): Hey!

The Sith turns as Rey spins, decapitating him.

Rey: Thanks, R2!

R2 gives a happy beep as Rey continues to battle the last Sith clone.

She strikes out with a few quick hits, before spinning to the side, holding out her other hand. Ben’s lightsaber shoots from the first Sith Clone’s head into her hand, the white blade activating.

Rey quickly deflects the last Sith clones Lightsaber with her yellow one, then impales him through the chest with Ben’s lightsaber.

She breathes out as the clone falls to the ground, dead, and turns back to her parents.

Rey: You guys ok?!

Daralex and Lillali step out, nodding.

The sound cuts out again, as half of the hallway becomes the platform with The Millennium Falcon, Ben appearing behind some cargo.

Rey: Ben!

Rey throws his lightsaber towards him, and he reaches out, grabbing it and deflecting a laser bolt fired at him. He ducks down behind the crates, looking towards her.

Ben (Annoyed): The Force really has a wicked sense of humour!

Rey: Ben listen to me! I’m heading back to The Falcon, but you need to find Finn and Joshuan! They’re not responding, I think they’re in danger!

Ben: I need to get through the welcoming party first!

Rey nods.

Rey: I’m on my way to you!

Chapter Text

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – NIGHT

The camera cuts back to the hallway outside the darkroom, as Finn is thrown through the wall, hitting the glass window.

Leia suddenly leaps through the doorway, stabbing her lightsaber at Finn, when Joshuan appears beside her, deflecting the attack just before it impales Finn’s chest.

Leia screams in rage, spinning and slicing at Joshuan, who beings to back away, refusing to attack and only defending. He is only using one of his Lightsabers.

At the far end of the hallway, we see two of Snokes Black Elite Praetorian Guards, wielding electro-bisentos cutting off escape.

Leia swings down at him, and Joshuan moves to the side, and swings downwards, aiming for her lightsaber hilt. Leia swings her blade up into a lock on.

Joshuan (Pleading): Leia! Stop! We don’t want to hurt you!

Leia laughs, and pushes his blade up, allowing her to jump back a few steps.

Leia (Amused): I know!

She brings up her free hand, and blue lightning crackles from her fingers, hitting Joshuan’s chest and sending him flying down the hall. He lands on his back, groaning in pain. Behind him, two more Elite Praetorian Guards raise their Vibro-voulges, but not moving, only blocking their escapes.

Finn and Joshuan are surrounded.

Leia begins to approach him, holding her arms out dramatically, like she is addressing an audience.

Leia (Continued): Isn’t it marvellous!?

Finn stands back up behind her, activating his lightsaber and charging at her. Leia sees him coming in the reflection, and runs at Joshuan, jumping and hitting the wall, flipping over Finn, swinging her blade down.

Finn swings upwards, blocking the attack, and when Leia lands behind him, she spins, swinging her blade and shattering the window next to them, aiming for Finn’s back.

Finn jumps forward, as the rain and winds begin to pelter both of them, turning around to face her.

Finn (Desperately): Leia! Listen to me, whatever he’s done, we can fix it. Let us help!

Leia laughs again, as Joshuan stands up beside Finn, their Lightsabers held at the ready.

Leia (Teasing): You can’t fix me!

She glances out the window. Below them, a large landing pad awaits. She smirks, turning back to Finn and Joshuan.

Leia: I’m the best version of myself I ever have been!

She throws her hands out, using The Force to throw them up into the air. They levitate there for a moment, paralyzed, before she moves her arms, throwing them out the window.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM – NIGHT

Finn and Joshuan both land on the platform, rolling across it until they come to a stop.

The rain batters them both as they stand back up, steam from the water hisses off their Lightsabers, as they look up to see Leia standing in the window, the four Praetorian Guards standing behind her.

She jumps, softly floating down, and landing on the platform in front of them. She laughs, twirling her blade, and aiming at them, before she leaps forwards, spinning through the air with a fearsome screech.

EXT – KAMINO – LANDING PAD – NIGHT

Rose deflects another shot, when suddenly, through The Force, she hears Leia’s battle screech. She freezes, turning, and looking out into the ocean. In the distance, she can see another platform, with three figures fighting on it.

Rose (Whispering): Leia?

Suddenly Rose is hit in the arm with a blaster shot, and she screams in pain, dropping her lightsaber.

Poe turns at her cry, and ducks over, pulling her behind cover.

Poe: Rose! Are you ok?

Rose shakes her head, her eyes wide and fearful.

Ben quickly moves over to them, deflecting more shots, before kneeling beside Rose.

Ben: Rose! What’s wrong?!

Rose shakily lifts her arm that wasn’t hit, pointing towards the platform far off in the distance.

Rose (Whispering): It’s Leia.

Ben and Poe share a look of confusion, and they both turn, seeing what she is pointing at.

MACROBINOCULARS – POV – BEN SOLO

Ben pulls out his Macrobinoculars, and the camera becomes his point of view as he zooms in on the battle so far away.

We see Leia flip over Finn, spinning around and using Force Lightning to knock him backwards. Leia turns, giving Ben a good look at her face as she swings at Joshuan.

EXT – KAMINO – LANDING PAD – NIGHT

Ben lowers his Macrobinoculars, shock on his face.

Ben (Fearfully): Leia…

Behind him, Chewbacca roars as Natjack and Mara cheer, unaware of the problem.

Han (Cheering): Yes! Go, mum!

Ben sits up and notices that they are no longer being fired upon.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the hallway, following Rey as she slices through a Mandalorian, spinning and slicing through the weapon of a Stormtrooper, lifting him with The Force and sending him flying at another group of Mandalorians.

She throws her lightsaber at the group, and in their confusion, they are unable to see the blades coming, decapitating all of them.

The lightsaber flies back to Rey, who beings to twirl it in front of her, deflecting blaster bolts back at their senders, striking down Stormtroopers and Sithtroopers.

She kills many of them, the last remaining is a Sithtrooper, who is shot in the leg. He attempts to stumble to his feet, aiming his blaster, and Rey makes a fist with her hand. The Sithtrooper begins to choke, as he raises above the floor, grasping at his throat with his hand.

His armour begins to crush inwards, impaling him, before he falls to the ground, dead.

Daralex and Lillali step into the corridor behind her, as they begin to approach the exit.

Ben (Shouting): Rey!

Rey pauses, looking at Ben through the window, and he aims his lightsaber towards the platform with Finn and Joshuan.

Rey turns, and through the storm can see the small Lightsabers waving around, but not much else.

Rey: Mum, Dad, get to The Falcon. They’ll take care of you.

Rey turns and begins to run down the hallway, towards where the battle is taking place.

EXT – KAMINO – LANDING PAD – NIGHT

Ben freezes as he sees Rey begin to run in the direction of the fight.

He turns back to Poe.

Ben (Shouting): Poe! Get everyone on The Falcon and get out of here!

Ben begins to run out towards the entrance when he pauses at a loud roar.

He turns as Chewbacca steps up beside him, holding up his bow-caster.

Chewbacca roars, and beckons for Ben to lead the way. Ben smiles.

Ben: Thank you, Uncle.

Chewbacca nods, and together they begin to run across the bridge, passing Daralex, Lillali, and R2 as they do.

Poe turns to everyone.

Poe: Everyone! Into The Falcon, now! Han, you’re my co-pilot! We need to be ready to pick Ben and the others up!

Everyone begins to board the ramp of The Falcon, Han, and Poe first.

INT – THE MILLENNIUM FALCON – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Poe and Han both jump into the pilot seats, as Poe begins the start-up sequence. Mara Jade and Rose move into the seats behind them.

Poe (Muttering): Come on old girl, don’t fail me now.

INT – THE MILLENNIUM FALCON – COMMON AREA – NIGHT

Daralex and Lillali stand in the middle of the common area, looking unsure of themselves. Natjack glances at them before he approaches them.

Natjack: I’m Natjack. Are you Rey’s parents?

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other, before turning back to Natjack with soft smiles on their faces.

Daralex: It’s good to meet you Natjack. I guess we are.

Natjack nods and smiles welcomingly.

Natjack: Good to meet you too.

Chapter Text

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM – NIGHT

Leia spins around, cackling madly as she fights against both Finn and Joshuan.

Joshuan takes a swing at her, and she cartwheels backwards, away from them.

Finn charges forward, as Leia punches out at Joshuan, hitting him with The Force and sending him flying off the platform.

EXT – KAMINO – LOWER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Joshuan lands on his back on a platform below them, tired, and defeated.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM – NIGHT

Finn swings at Leia, who ducks around him, moving like some kind of phantom as she swings back.

Finn blocks the attack, and Leia spins around him again, slicing downwards.

Finn screams out in pain as he drops to the ground, his leg sliced open.

Leia laughs darkly and raises her blade towards him.

Leia: Do you know what the price of desertion is, FN-2187?

She raises her blade above her, ready to swing down.

Leia (Shouting): EXECUTION!

Rey (Off-Screen, Shocked): Leia?

Leia pauses and lowers her blade. Finn takes the moment of opportunity to roll away from her, off the platform, and landing on the one below next to Joshuan.

Leia turns around to face Rey on the bridge extending out to the platform.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

She steps onto the bridge in front of her mother. The storm blows around them both, and the ocean below crashes against the facility.

Leia: Rey Solo. I have been waiting for this day for a long time.

Rey stays silent for a long moment. She begins to walk forward, almost in a shocked trance.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – NIGHT

Ben Solo runs down the hallways, Chewbacca by his side.

A Mandalorian steps out into the hallway and Chewbacca quickly shoots it, sending it flying backwards.

More Mandalorians, Stormtroopers, and Sithtroopers filter into their path, aiming their blasters and beginning to fire.

Ben roars, activating his lightsaber as he deflects the shots, covering Chewbacca who stands behind him, firing on The Sith Empire.

A little further away, he can see Rey and Leia on the bridge.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Rey steps closer to her daughter.

Rey (Quietly): Leia, what are you doing?

Leia tilts her head in confusion.

Leia (Confused): Leia?

Then she growls.

Leia (Frustrated): Chryx you fool!

Rey pauses in her advance, a confused look on her face.

Rey: Leia, please. It’s not too late! Whatever they’ve done to you, let me help-

Leia cuts her off as she chuckles.

Rey’s expression turns hurt, as Leia then begins to full-on laugh.

INT – KAMINO – HALLWAYS – NIGHT

Ben turns, noticing a door to the outside beside them.

Ben (Shouting): Chewie!

Chewie nods, and together they move to the door, rushing outside and ducking under blaster fire.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

They stand on another platform, higher than the one where Rey and Leia stand.

Ben turns to the wall and sees several ledges that he can use to get to Rey.

Ben: Watch your step!

Chewbacca growls, and begins to move, when they both freeze, hearing a loud demonic screech.

Chewbacca cries out in pain as lightning hits his body, sending him flying backwards and hitting a crate near the edge of the platform.

Darth Zyph lands in the middle of the platform in his signature superhero pose his massive wings outstretched behind him. He looks up towards Ben.

Zyph (Taunting): Not yet, Solo. Let’s not ruin their moment!

Ben gets in a defensive position as Zyph activates his own lightsaber, shooting forward with inhuman speed.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Leia finally stops laughing, as she faces Rey, an evil smirk on her face.

Leia: It is good to see Rey, that after all these years, you still hold that fiery spit of hope in you.

Rey pauses, as recognition crosses her fearful face, then shock, then hatred as the dreadful truth dawns on her.

Rey (With Hatred): Snoke.

Snoke laughs, holding open her arms, Leia’s arms.

Snoke (Amused): At last, the scavenger has figured it out.

Rey steps closer to her.

Rey: Snoke, listen to me. I’ll do whatever you want, just let my family go.

Snoke smirks.

Snoke (Amused): Family. What a dreadful and disgusting bond.

Rey has tears in her eyes.

Rey (Angrily): Then what do you want from me!

Snoke looks annoyed.

Snoke (Annoyed): Why does everything have to be about you?

Rey’s eyes widen in surprise, as Snoke smirks evilly.

Snoke (Continued, Evilly): And you have delivered.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Ben ducks to the side, avoiding a blow from Darth Zyph. He tries to run for the ledges again, but Darth Zyph grabs him with The Force, pulling him backwards. He rolls, jumping up to his feet.

Ben spins around, only to be backhanded by Darth Zyph, causing him to stumble.

Zyph swings his lightsaber, knocking Ben’s weapon from his hand.

He jumps forward, grabbing Ben and throwing him into the railing.

Darth Zyph walks forward as Ben groans, and he grabs Ben’s head, forcing him to look down at Rey and Snoke.

Zyph (Taunting): You will watch this.

Ben stays silent, fear in his eyes.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Rey steps closer to Snoke, gazing into her daughter’s face. Sith eyes glare back at her.

Rey: I can’t raise my blade to you, Leia. Please, if you’re in there-

Snoke growls, cutting her off.

Snoke: Leia may hear you, but she cannot help you!

EXT – KAMINO – LOWER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Joshuan helps Finn to stand up.

They both look up towards the bridge, where they can see Rey and Snoke.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Ben pants heavily, as Darth Zyph clutches the back of his head with his claws.

Suddenly, Darth Zyph screams in pain, as Chewie fires a bolt into his wing. Zyph lets Ben go, and he spins around, Force pushing Zyph backwards, causing him to fall off the platform.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Rey steps closer to Snoke.

Rey (Quietly, In Shock): Leia… Please…

Snoke rolls her eyes, growling in annoyance, and in one swift movement, stabs her black blade forward, impaling Rey through the stomach.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Ben gasps in pain as he clutches his stomach.

He turns, his eyes are wide and fearful as he gazes down at Rey and Leia, the black blade still impaled in Rey’s stomach.

Chewbacca screams in anguish.

EXT – KAMINO – LOWER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Finn’s face contorts with fear and shock.

Finn (Screaming): REY!

Joshuan’s mouth opens, unable to say anything.

INT – THE MILLENNIUM FALCON – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Rose stumbles backwards, her mouth open in horror before she slowly falls into her seat.

Tears fill her eyes.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Rey gazes down at the blade, before looking back into Leia’s face again.

Snoke silently pulls the blade out, smiling as Rey falls to her knees.

After a moment, Rey shakily raises her hand, and Snoke’s eyes narrow in confusion. Rey’s hand lightly touches her cheek. A mother’s embrace.

Rey (Deathly Quiet): It’s… ok…

Rey’s hand falls, as she falls forward, lying on the bridge.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Ben is frozen in shock.

Ben (In Shock): No…

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

The camera cuts to Rey’s body, lifeless.

After a moment, she fades into The Force, leaving nothing but the Sith Eternal uniform, and her Lightsaber.

The camera focuses on Snoke’s face, as she looks down at where Rey’s clothes remain with a blank look. 

A single tear drops from her eye and rolls down her cheek.

Snoke’s face goes still, as she carefully lifts a hand, catching the tear on her finger.

Snoke gazes at it in confusion, before her expression turns to rage.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Chewbacca screams again and aims his bow caster. He fires at Snoke.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Snoke quickly spins her blade, sending the shot flying harmlessly away, as she gazes up at Ben, and her rageful expression turns to a taunting smirk.

EXT – KAMINO – HIGHER PLATFORM – NIGHT

Ben growls in rage, as he holds out his hand, his lightsaber flies into it, and he activates it.

Rey (Voice Echoing): No Ben! Run!

Ben pauses as he hears his wife’s voice, and turns to see The Millennium Falcon hovering slightly over the platform.

Chewie nods at him, and they run, leaping up onto the open ramp.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

The doors to the facilities open, as Allegiant General Pryde and Admiral Griss, flanked by Pryde’s Sithtrooper guard, and all eight of Snoke’s Elite Praetorian Guard exit them.

They watch as The Falcon lowers to the platform below them.

Pryde: What are your orders, Supreme Leader?

Snoke narrows her eyes.

EXT – KAMINO – LOWER PLATFORM– NIGHT

Ben steps out onto the platform, taking one of Finn’s arms around his shoulders and helping Joshuan carry him onto The Millennium Falcon.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Snoke: Let them go.

She turns back to Pryde.

Snoke: Where’s the fun if we kill them all too quickly.

Pryde smirks, as in the background The Millennium Falcon flies up towards the atmosphere.

Snoke kneels beside what remains of Rey.

She picks up Rey’s lightsaber, studying it, before clipping it to her belt.

Then she notices a small device, with an armband.

Snoke picks it up, studying it. After a moment, she places it on her wrist and stands up.

Snoke angrily turns to Pryde.

Snoke: The girl is fighting me! Where is Darth Chryx? The fool brought me the wrong heir!

Darth Zyph lands heavily behind Snoke, unable to fly properly because of the rain.

Snoke turns to face him.

Zyph: Chryx is dead, sire.

Snoke snarls.

Snoke (Enraged): Then he is lucky to have escaped my wrath. Are Captain Vhina and Craggonus ready for the next stage in the plan?

Pryde nods.

Pryde: They are, Supreme Leader.

Snoke smiles.

Snoke: Excellent. The next stage is upon us, it is almost time to finish-

She gasps in pain, as she reaches up a hand to her head.

UNKNOWN

We suddenly see a flash of a vision, of a hooded figure, kneeling before a massive pool of lava, as a massive humanoid creature with a head shaped like a hammerhead shark, an almost corrupted looking version of the ancient Zeffo species, rises out of the lava, overshadowing the unknown figure.

EXT – KAMINO – PLATFORM BRIDGE – NIGHT

Snoke gasps, as she stumbles back a step. Pryde tilts his head in confusion.

Pryde: You are still experiencing memory flashes?

Snoke growls as she stands up straight.

Snoke: A side effect of the cloning process, and nothing more. The time to follow my ancestor will come soon, but for now, the destruction of The Republic and The Resistance awaits!

Snoke turns to Pryde.

Snoke: Ready your forces. We move immediately.

Pryde nods.

Pryde: Shall I leave a garrison to protect Kamino?

Snoke shakes her head.

Snoke: No. We will not be returning. Sink it.

With her final word, she begins to leave the platform, her loyal guards following.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the bridge of The Calamity, as Allegiant General Pryde, followed by Admiral Griss and his Sithtrooper guard enter.

Darth Chror and Darth Zyph enter from behind them.

Through the front window, we see the storm still raging around the city of Kamino.

Pryde narrows his eyes.

Pryde: Are our forces evacuated?

Admiral Griss nods.

Admiral Griss: They are Sir.

Pryde: Then you may fire when ready.

Darth Chror and Darth Zyph glance at each other, then step toward the front window to watch the destruction of their home, their helmets betraying nothing of their feelings on the matter.

EXT – KAMINO – ATMOSPHERE – NIGHT

The Calamity’s cannons aim for the city.

A moment passes as we hear the sounds of the cannon charging, before BOOM!

The Calamity fires its cannons, a constant heavy barrage of red laser fire that cuts straight through the buildings and walkways.

The city begins to splinter, smashing into several parts as it begins to sink into the ocean below, the laser fire never ceasing.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – NIGHT

The camera cuts back to The Calamity bridge as Pryde smirks in almost insane glee, the power of his weapon never failing to impress him.

Zyph and Chror remain silent, their helmets lighting up red from the laser fire.

After a moment, they both turn, and leave the bridge, no longer interested in watching.

EXT – KAMINO – OCEAN FLOOR – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the ocean floor as what little of the once massive city hits the sand, smaller pieces of rubble smashing down around it.

After a moment, the wreckage of The Redemption, smashed in half, hits the ocean floor in front of the destroyed city, before more rubble collapses down on top of it, hiding it from view.

It is done. Kamino is no more.

An end of an era.

Chapter Text

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – HANGER BAY – MIDNIGHT

The camera cuts to the hanger bay on Ajan Kloss.

Despite it being midnight, the base is alive with activity as people rush around, restless.

The Millennium Falcon lands in the hanger bay, and people immediately begin to yell.

Lyn, who is seated on a bench turns, gazing out at The Falcon as she stands up.

INT – THE MILLENNIUM FALCON – COCKPIT – MIDNIGHT

Ben sits in the pilot seat of The Falcon, as he slumps forward, putting his head in his hands.

Chewbacca, Han, Rose, and Mara sit around him, tears in their eyes.

Ben (Quietly): Get out.

Han steps closer to his dad.

Han: Dad… I.

Ben sits up, spinning around in his chair.

Ben (Screaming): I SAID GET OUT!

Han recoils in hurt. After a moment he wordlessly turns, stepping out of the cockpit. Mara gives Ben a sorrowful gaze, then turns and leaves after Han, followed by Chewbacca.

Rose lingers for a moment, and Ben turns his angry gaze to her.

Ben (Coldly): Now.

Rose blinks tears away, then turns and leaves.

Ben turns back to the dash.

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – HANGER BAY – MIDNIGHT

The camera cuts back to the hanger bay, as Finn is carried down by Joshuan and Natjack.

Lyn pauses, staring at them in shock.

Lyn: Dad?

Finn looks at her but doesn’t answer, as Resistance medics rush over with a bed, helping Joshuan and Natjack place him on it.

They quickly wheel Finn away, as Chewbacca, Rose, Mara, Han, R2-D2, Daralex, and Lillali step down the ramp.

As soon as they do, the ramp closes, and The Falcon’s engines start again as it lifts into the air, speeding out of the hanger and hitting a tree as it goes.

Lyn looks at everyone’s tear-filled faces, as her face begins to take a look of horror.

Lyn (Fearfully): What happened?

Joshuan, with tears in his eyes steps towards her, and pulls her into a hug, crying into her hair. The Resistance base around them has gone completely silent.

Joshuan (Voice Breaking): Rey… She’s…

Lyn’s eyes go wide before they fill with tears. She sobs, her and Joshuan falling to the floor, not taking their hug apart.

Around them, The Resistance starts to react with tears and gasps of their own.

Connix opens her mouth slightly in shock, as she sits on a bench, her own tears beginning to fall.

Resistance members look at each other, and after a few moments, some of them start to place a fist over their hearts, while others who wear hats or helmets remove them, placing them over their hearts.

Rose, Mara, and Han take each other’s hands, as they look around, seeing everyone affected by their mother’s death.

Chewbacca gives one loud cry of grief, falling to his knees, inconsolable.

Lillali and Daralex look around, seeing the way that Rey has touched everyone in their lives, their own tears forming.

Lillali (Voice Shaking): We just got her back…

Daralex wordlessly pulls his wife into a hug, taking comfort in each other.

R2 gives a low whine. C3-PO places a hand on R2’s head.

C3-PO: Oh dear…

BB-8’s head lowers, silent.

The three Skywalker younglings, Arilnala, Olisha, and Zatee stand nearby.

Mara sees them, and after giving Han’s hand a quick squeeze, approaches them, before kneeling before them.

Arilnala (Quietly): Where is Master Rey? 

Fresh tears appear in Mara’s eyes, as she holds open her arms. The kids step forward, hugging her, as they begin to cry. They already know.

Olisha (Sobbing): I want to go home!

Mara closes her eyes, as she pulls the three children closer.

The sounds of crying and sobs stay with us as the camera fades to black, overlooking the entire Resistance before the cries fade away.

Rey Solo, The Last Jedi, The First Skywalker, a mother, a daughter, a hero, a friend, is gone.

EXT – TAKODANA – DESTROYED CLEARING – MORNING

The camera cuts to Ben Solo on Takodana as he pants.

The forest around him lies in ruin, trees and boulders are sliced in half by his lightsaber.

Ben looks up into the sky, screaming as he falls to his knees. A Force shockwave sends debris flying around him, leaving the area even more destroyed.

Ben sobs, and leans forward, placing his head on the ground as his lightsaber deactivates.

He begins to cry. It’s a heart-breaking sight.

Rey (Quietly, Voice Echoing): Ben…

Ben bolts upright, looking around.

Ben (Tearfully, Hopeful): Rey?

Rey (Voice-Echoing): Why did you come here, Ben?

Ben looks around, distraught.

Ben: This was the place I met you, Rey! Where are you!?

Rey (Voice Echoing): I’m with you Ben… I’ll always be with you.

Ben shakes his head.

Ben (Screaming): But you’re not! You’re just another voice in my head! I don’t even know if you're real!

Rey (Comforting): Oh Ben…

Rey appears in front of Ben, wearing her Skywalker Grandmaster attire. Her translucent blue form is weak, almost completely see-through.

Ben closes his eyes.

Rey (Comforting): Ben… please, look at me.

Ben waits a moment before he opens his tear-filled eyes.

Ben (Distraught): I can’t do this without you! What if I fall again!

Rey smiles sadly, her own eyes full of tears.

Rey (Comforting): You won’t. You must be strong, for our family. For Leia.

Ben shakes his head.

Ben (Angrily): Leia killed you!

Rey shakes her head.

Rey (Tearfully): She didn’t. Snoke did.

Ben looks confused, then fearful.

Ben (Quietly): Snoke…?

Rey nods sadly.

Rey: I don’t know how, but Snoke has taken over her mind and body, but she is still in there. Ben, you need to save her, just like I needed to save you.

Rey tries to place her hand on Ben’s but she phases straight through, and she looks more upset as she returns her hand to her lap.

Rey (Distraught): Please Ben, promise me you will save her!

Ben gulps, and then he shakes his head.

Ben (Quietly): I can’t defeat Snoke. They’re too powerful. 

Rey smiles sadly.

Rey (Comforting): You can’t alone… but there are friends closer than you think.

She goes silent for a moment.

Rey (Quietly): Please, be strong, Ben. I know you’ll do the right thing.

She slowly fades away, leaving Ben kneeling by himself in the destroyed forest.

He lowers his head.

Ben (Quietly): I love you. I promise I’ll save Leia, even if it kills me.

He goes silent for another long moment, then turns his head when he hears a branch snap.

He turns, seeing that at the edge of his destruction is Poe Dameron.

Poe has tears staining his cheeks, but he gives a tearful smile.

Poe (Voice-Breaking): Come on, let’s get a drink.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ENTRANCE – MORNING

Ben and Poe step into the entrance of Maz Kanata’s castle.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – MORNING

The camera cuts around, showing that the palace has been completely rebuilt, and is thriving with smugglers, bandits, pirates, and just people passing through.

Upbeat music plays from a band in the corner.

One person, wearing a crimson red bodysuit, and a golden helmet with a black visor over her eyes, is seated at a table. She looks up towards the entrance and tilts her head.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ENTRANCE – MORNING

The camera cuts back to the entrance, focusing on Poe.

Poe: Alright Ben, what would you like? 

He turns, seeing Ben gone.

Poe (Confused): Ben?

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – BAR – MORNING

The camera cuts to Ben Solo, approaching the bar.

His eyes are fixed on a woman, with long brown hair, and a dark grey smuggler's coat. She holds a bottle in one hand, tapping her finger to the beat of the band on the bottle, with her legs up on the bar.

Ben (Voice Breaking): Jaina?

Jaina, the former Vicrul Ren freezes, then spins around, standing up in front of Ben, growling.

She points at him, with a glare in her eye.

Jaina (Angrily): You can’t take a hint, can you Solo?! You’ve chased me around the entire kriffing Galaxy for over twenty years! Go back to your wifey and leave me alone!

Ben stays silent for a moment as fresh tears enter his eyes.

Ben (Voice Breaking): Rey’s dead.

Jaina pauses and lowers her hand. Her eyes go wide in shock.

Her expression returns to neutral as she looks past him.

Jaina (Quietly): Can we… put a hold on this conversation? I think my second in command is about to shoot your friend.

Ben (Confused, Still Upset): What?

Jaina steps past him, and he turns following her back towards the entrance.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ENTRANCE – MORNING

Poe steps down a step, looking around in confusion when suddenly he hears a click and freezes.

He sighs.

Poe (Muttering): Only one gun has that kind of safety.

The camera pans to show the woman wearing the red bodysuit and large golden helmet, pointing what looks like an old pirate’s pistol at the back of Poe’s head.

???: You got a lot of guts showing up here Dameron.

Poe sighs, as he slowly raises his arms.

Poe: Hey Zorii, how you-

Zorii Bliss (Cutting Him Off): I could pull this trigger, right now.

Poe: And get a lifetime ban from Maz’s.

Zorii: Small price to pay for a lifetime of satisfaction.

Ben and Jaina approach them both.

Ben: Uh Poe? Who’s this?

Poe: Ah, Ben, this is Zorii Bliss, Zorii, Ben-

Zorii pushes the blaster closer to Poe’s head, pressing it into the back of his skull, and Poe goes silent.

Zorii (Angrily): Give me one good reason not to shoot you right now.

Poe: Cause my husband and daughter would be really upset?

Zorii: You don’t get to play the gay card right now. I’m going to shoot you.

Poe shrugs.

Poe: You’ve done a lot worse.

Zorii: For a lot less.

Poe: Can we please just, talk about this?

Zorii: I want to see your brains splattered against the wall.

Poe sighs, then spins around, knocking Zorii’s blaster out of her hand, pulling out his own, while Zorii immediately pulls out her second blaster, as they aim them at each other.

The castle around them goes silent, as they watch.

Poe: So, you still mad?

Zorii tilts her head. Obviously, she is.

Poe: Zorii, please, I really can’t deal with this today-

Zorii growls in rage, cutting him off.

Zorii: You know, I’m still digging out of the hole that YOU put me in when you ran off to join The Resistance.

Ben glances at Poe in confusion.

Ben: Is this…

Poe nods.

Poe: Yeah, Zorii was part of the old crew.

Zorii growls.

Zorii: You were our leader, then you kriffed off, leaving me to deal with the mess!

One of the aliens around them slams his hand on the desk.

Alien (Voice Slurring): Enough of this! Fight!

Suddenly, like a cheer, the other people in the castle begin to chant.

People (Together): FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

Ben turns to Jaina.

Ben: Are you going to do something about this?

Jaina shrugs.

Jaina: I’m just enjoying the show.

Ben turns back to Zorii.

Ben: Listen, Zorii is it? I’ve had a really bad day, and I’d appreciate it if you could put the gun down.

Zorii: Not gonna happen! Not while he’s holding his.

Ben sighs, then turns to Poe.

Ben: Poe, put the gun down.

Poe turns to him.

Poe (Annoyed): Seriously?

Ben (Snapping): Yes seriously! There’s been enough death for one day, don’t you think?!

Poe’s face turns sad as he sighs, then puts his blaster in his holster.

Zorii growls and keeps her blaster up. Jaina turns to Zorii.

Jaina (Questioning, Warning): Zorii?

Zorii glances at Jaina, then back to Poe.

Jaina (Firm): Zorii!

Zorii sighs then lowers her blaster.

The crowd groans in disappointment.

??? (Off-Screen, Shouting): WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!

Like the red sea, the crowd immediately parts as Maz Kanata, The Pirate Queen, storms past them. She comes to stop before Ben, Poe, Zorii, and Jaina.

Maz looks up to Ben and seeing his tear-stained face and expression, her face falls.

Maz (Fearfully): Is it true?

Ben wordlessly nods.

Maz looks as old as she is, as she turns to the other people.

Maz (Quietly): Get out.

The aliens glance at each other in confusion.

Alien (Shocked): Maz, you never close the bar!

Rage flashes across Maz’s face.

Maz (Shouting): OUT!

Everyone immediately stands and begins shuffling to the door. Ben, Poe, Jaina, and Zorii step to the side, letting them pass in silence.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – BAR – MORNING

The camera cuts to the bar of Maz’s castle. The castle is now completely empty.

Ben and Poe sit next to each other, and Maz sits on a stool behind the bar.

Jaina sits a couple of stools down from them, her legs back on the bar. Zorii is nowhere to be seen.

Maz (Angrily): That beast. Corrupting the mind of an innocent girl like that for his own benefit… it’s disgusting.

Ben nods, silently, as he takes a sip of his bottle. Maz rubs her eyes, tired.

Maz (Quietly): I felt The Force cry out in horror, but… I didn’t want it to believe it.

Maz looks at Ben.

Maz: I’m sorry for your loss, Ben. Rey was a bright spark in this otherwise dark and cruel place.

Ben nods in thanks, silent again.

Jaina is starring at Ben, and he turns in his seat to face her.

Ben (Voice Hard): You’ve been silent this whole time. Don’t you have anything to say?

Jaina glances away.

Jaina (Quietly): I’m thinking.

Ben scoffs, and turns back to his drink, frustration on his face.

Poe sighs, taking a swig of his own bottle. Ben glances at him.

Ben (Quietly): So, Zorii Bliss. What’s the story there?

Poe sighs, looking down.

Poe: I wasn’t supposed to date anyone in the crew, but Zorii and I were kids, and we had a thing.

He stays silent for a moment, looking into his bottle.

Poe: I’m pretty sure I broke her heart.

Jaina (Immediately, Voice Hard): You did.

Poe glances at Jaina with a neutral expression.

Poe (Resigned): Yeah… I know.

He turns away from her.

Poe (Quietly): I need to contact The Resistance. Check up on Finn.

Ben nods as Poe stands, and doesn’t turn as Poe walks from the room.

Ben takes another drink from the bottle, only to find it empty. Maz wordlessly slides down another one to him.

Ben nods in thanks, removing the cap and taking another drink.

The three sit in silence for a long moment.

Jaina (Quietly, Almost Fearfully): Is he really back?

Ben turns to her.

Ben (Quietly): He is.

Jaina nods and goes silent again.

Maz looks between the both of them, they’re history together laid bare to her old eyes.

Maz (Quietly): What matters now… is what you decide to do about it. If you both can’t put aside your differences and work together, Snoke’s evil will reign over The Galaxy, and that poor girl is going to suffer because of it.

Jaina stays silent for a long moment, before she finally takes her legs off the bar, sitting up straight.

Jaina: Ben?

Ben turns to her.

Jaina: I’m sorry for your loss. You didn’t deserve that.

Ben stays silent a moment.

Ben: Neither did she.

Jaina nods.

Jaina: No. She didn’t. The Galaxy’s a darker place without her here.

She goes silent for another long moment.

Jaina: I’m going to help you.

Ben smiles sadly, and goes to speak, but Jaina holds up one hand, silencing him.

Jaina: I’m going to help you, but only because Snoke needs to be killed, and I don’t think you’re up for that.

Ben stays silent, as the camera fades to black.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the outside of the massive oval Senate building on Coruscant. It is late at night, almost midnight.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – NIGHT

The camera cuts inside to a massive room, as two occupants click a glass together.

Senators and representatives stand around the room, all chatting with one another.

At the end of the room, up some steps, is a massive, long table. In the centre of the table sits Chancellor Vrildoxx, and to his left, with her feet up on the table and spinning a dinner knife in her hand is Mandalord Vhina.

Commander Vha Leng stands just behind Vhina, and two Coruscant guards stand behind the chancellor.

Vhina and Vha Leng are the only visible Mandalorians in the room.

Vrildoxx: Tonight, is a historic night. The clock is almost to midnight, and at last, peace will be celebrated between The Republic and Mandalore.

Vhina’s helmet turns slightly as she glances at him.

Vhina: Indeed, the dawning of a new era. It will certainly be a night for the history books.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SNIPER BUILDING – NIGHT

The camera cuts to outside, on the top of a building as a Mandalorian, wearing dark orange armour, and an orange cape, with a light brown scarf, lies down on his stomach.

The Mandalorian, Tix Garo, The Sniper, a member of Vhina’s Shadow Council, pulls out a large sniper rifle, setting it up, and aiming towards The Senate building.

Tix Garo: I’m in position.

EXT – CORUSCANT – BUILDING – NIGHT

On another building, several Mandalorians wearing different coloured armours and jetpacks, await on the roof.

At the head of them is another member of Vhina’s Shadow council, Rinn Barret, The Armoury.

Rinn Barret is a female-heavy infantry Mandalorian, with dark green and blood-red armour. Her entire body is covered with weapons, but attached to her jetpack is her signature minigun for mowing down large waves of enemies.

A large double-bladed Mandalorian Executioner axe is strapped to her back.

Rinn Barret holds up a small telescope, peering down towards the building.

Rinn Barret: And the clock is about to strike.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SNIPER BUILDING – NIGHT

The camera cuts back to Tix Garo, as he aims down towards the entrance of The Senate building.

SNIPER POV - TIX GARO

The camera cuts to the point of view of the scope, as it zooms in on a cloaked and hooded figure.

The man’s identity is hidden, and the only other clothing we can see is the red spiked shoulder armour usually seen on Pryde’s Sithtrooper Guard.

Tix Garo (Voice): Understood. I have Craggonus in my sight.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – NIGHT

Vrildoxx turns to Vhina.

Vrildoxx: I understand you have a respect for the history of The Galaxy.

Vhina shrugs, still playing with the knife.

Vhina (Bored): I’ve dabbled.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – ENTRANCE – NIGHT

The hooded figure approaches the entrance to The Senate building.

Three Coruscant guards turn to him in confusion and hold up their blasters.

Guard: Halt! This area is off-limits to civilians. Turn around.

The hooded figure continues approaching them.

Two guards move to the side of him, as he stops walking. The lead guard stands in front of the hooded figure. Suddenly his face turns to fear.

Guard (Fearfully) What are you?

Suddenly, a red lightsaber activates, as the hooded figure twirls it, slicing through the lead guard and the one to the left, then one green arm with reptilian scales flies out, hitting the one to the right with a brief shot of lightning, sending him flying into a wall.

The figure lowers his lightsaber, never once facing the camera.

The hilt is curved, coming out to a sort of Y shape, with a single cross guard attachment sticking out on an angle on one side of the red blade. At the end of the hilt is a brown Rancor tooth.

The hand that holds it is dark green, with three fingers and a thumb, coming to sharp curved claws.

??? (Amused): Death.

The voice sounds almost insane like it relishes in chaos and destruction.

The lightsaber deactivates and is placed back under the cape and out of view. The person enters through the doors to the building.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – ENTRANCE – NIGHT

The figure approaches the elevator, as three more guards run out, aiming their blasters.

Without even lifting their hand, the guards begin to choke, grasping at their throats before falling forward, dead.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SNIPER BUILDING – NIGHT

Tix Garo watches through the sniper in a point of view shot as the person, still unable to be seen past the cape and hood walks past the bodies of the dead guards.

Tix (Voice): Craggonus is in the building.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – MIDNIGHT

Vrildoxx sits back in his seat.

Vrildoxx: Then certainly you must agree, that looking back on our history, the time of peace that continues to now is far better than the constant wars and fighting that have plagued our Galaxy for nearly a century.

Vhina turns in her seat to face him, taking her legs off the table and sitting up straight, putting down the knife.

Vhina: History is something to learn from. But how can we trust it if history is written on lies?

Vrildoxx tilts his head and opens his mouth to speak when a loud chiming of a clock echo’s around the room.

The entire room goes silent, as everyone looks towards Vrildoxx and Vhina.

Vhina chuckles.

Vhina: Saved by the bell Chancellor. Come now… let’s make history.

Vhina and Vrildoxx stand and make their way down the steps.

In the centre of the room lies another circular table, where a massive document sits upon it.

Vrildoxx and Vhina stand before it, Commander Vha Leng stands beside Vhina, and Vrildoxx’s two guards stand behind him.

Vrildoxx: My friends from all worlds. I welcome you to this historic event!

EXT – CORUSCANT – SNIPER BUILDING – NIGHT

The camera cuts back to Tix Garo, as he speaks into his comm.

Tix Garo: It’s time. Go!

EXT – CORUSCANT – BUILDING – NIGHT

Rinn Barret leads the charge forward, leaping from the roof of the building, the rest of The Mandalorians following.

They fall for a moment, before activating their jetpacks, shooting towards The Senate building.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – WALL – NIGHT

The jetpack Mandalorians slow their descent, hitting the walls of The Senate building. Their gloves light up, as well as their boots, using some kind of technology to stick them to the wall. 

Vrildoxx (Off-Screen): Long has Mandalore and The Republic been brutal enemies!

Rinn makes a hand gesture to her followers, and the Mandalorians begin to scale silently up the wall.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – MIDNIGHT

The camera cuts back to Vrildoxx.

Vrildoxx: But that endless war ends today! With the signing of this treaty, Mandalore will officially be integrated into the democratic system of The New Republic!

Vrildoxx steps to the papers and picks up a pen holding it up for all to see. A few people clap politely.

EXT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – WALL – NIGHT

The Mandalorians reach the ledge of the window.

In almost perfect synchronisation, they reach into their belts, pulling out a small circular device, with a flat base.

They press the button on it, and carefully reach up, placing the device on the bottom of the windows, keeping out of sight of the occupants.

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – MIDNIGHT

Vrildoxx opens the cover of the document and after a moment, signs the first page.

The people around them clap, as Vrildoxx places the pen back onto the desk, stepping backwards, and holding out an arm to the document, turning to Vhina.

Vhina steps forward, and after a moment of tense silence, picks up the pen.

Vhina: I think it’s only fair that I too, give a speech.

Vhina turns to Vrildoxx.

Vhina: Many moons ago, my father taught me a lesson, one I have never forgotten. He told me, that the pen… is mightier than the sword.

Vhina turns back to the documents. A long moment passes.

Vhina: I disagree.

Suddenly Vhina activates The Darksaber for the first time, slicing upwards through the table and cutting the peace treaty in half.

People scream in shock. Vrildoxx turns to Vhina in a rage.

Vrildoxx (Enraged): You dare!

Vhina turns to him.

Vhina (Amused): You were right, Chancellor. Tonight is going to be very historic.

Vrildoxx growls, as his guards step forward.

Vrildoxx: Guards! Arrest her.

The guards behind him aim their weapons at Vhina and Vha Leng.

After a moment, they grunt in pain, as blood begins to leak from a sudden cut to their throats.

Vrildoxx turns around quickly, seeing his guards fall to the ground.

Vrildoxx (Confused): Wha-

Vrildoxx freezes as something presses against his throat.

People gasp and back away from them, as Zemmai Dryc, The Shadow, materialises in front of Vrildoxx, her Beskar katana held at his throat.

Zemmai nods to Vhina.

Zemmai (Respectfully): Mandalord.

Vhina nods her head to Zemmai.

Vhina: Excellent timing as always, Zemmai.

Zemmai: Want me to slit his throat, Mandalord?

Vhina chuckles and shakes her head.

Vhina: No need. That honour belongs to another.

Suddenly, the windows overlooking the city shatter from several small explosions causing people to scream.

Rinn Barret is the first into the room, removing her battle axe from her back and slicing through a stunned guard. The rest of The Mandalorians from the wall fly upwards and through the windows, aiming their blasters at the guards around the room, firing on them and killing them all.

Then they land, surround the frightened senators as they all group together in a large circle.

Rinn Barret places her axe on her back, chuckling, and pulling out two blasters from her great many weapons, aiming them at the crowd. She nods to Vhina.

Rinn: They’re all yours, Mandalord.

The Senators begin to plead for mercy, shouting over one another.

Vhina jumps up into the middle of the table that once held the documents, the Darksaber still active in her hand.

Vhina (Shouting): Silence!

Everyone goes silent, fear in their eyes, as they look at Vhina, who chuckles.

Vhina: Tonight, is not the signing of a peace treaty. Tonight, I give you all a promise. A promise of war. The Republic will burn, as Mandalore once again proves that WE are the most fearsome warriors The Galaxy has EVER seen!

She stays silent for a moment.

Vhina: This is the way. The way of the Mandalore.

The other Mandalorians around the room echo the words.

Mandalorians (Together): This is the way.

Vrildoxx growls in rage and goes to approach her, but Zemmai presses her Katana into his throat harder, and he pauses.

Vrildoxx (Angrily): We have spent months working on this treaty! Why not just declare war at the start. Why this show!

Vhina turns to face him, shrugging.

Vhina (Amused): What can I say? I like to be dramatic.

Vrildoxx growls at her.

Commander Vha Leng: Mandalord?

Vhina turns to her second in command.

Vhina: Yes Vha?

Vha: He’s here.

Everyone goes deathly silent, as they hear a voice begin to slowly laugh, a menacing voice.

??? (Slowly, Creepily): Ha… ha… hah!

Suddenly lightning hits, the roof of the room, as people scream, spinning to the elevators, as the caped figure appears on the screen.

Chapter Text

INT – CORUSCANT – SENATE BUILDING – PARTY ROOM – MIDNIGHT

The camera follows the cloaked figure’s feet as he approaches the crowd of people.

The people gasp in fear, backing away a few steps, but unable to go any further.

???: Good evening ladies and gentlemen.

The camera raises as the figure pauses, and we see his hood is lowered, revealing a dark green reptilian head, with eight small silver horns placed randomly around his head.

The camera pans around the front of the creature, and the sight is horrifying. The creature has a long crocodile-like snout, with razor-sharp teeth. He has one Sith eye, while his left eye is pale white, with two blood-red scars running through it.

The Sith wears no clothes, except for the Sithtrooper spiked shoulder armour and black cape. A brown leather strap extends from the Sithtrooper armour down the front of his chest, connecting to a belt that holds a shredded scarlet skirt, that extends down to his knees.

His feet are bare and look like some kind of prehistoric dinosaur, with three large toes extending to claws.

???: Are you all enjoying your night?

He steps closer to one of the senators, who holds a martini. 

The Sith looks down at it briefly as he moves past.

???: Ooh, grape!

He plucks the olive from the fearful Senators glass, chucking it into the air.

He snaps his jaws at it but misses, and the olive falls to the floor.

He shrugs, then turns back to the group.

???: We… are tonight’s entertainment, and we have a special show lined up for you all! Now tell me…

He claps his clawed hands together, turning in a circle.

???: Where is the guest of honour, where is Chancellor Tez?!

Immediately, the crowd steps to the side, showing Vrildoxx standing next to Zemmai, who still holds her katana to his throat.

???: Ah, excellent!

He turns to Vhina, still standing on the table.

???: Vhina, I’m a little nervous. This is my first BIG event; do I look ok? Do I smell?

Vhina chuckles and shakes her head.

Vhina (Amused): You're fine my friend. Please, continue.  

The Sith laughs.

???: Magnificent!

Vrildoxx growls at him.

Vrildoxx: Who the hell do you think you are!

The Sith turns to him.

???: My my, how rude of me! I haven’t even introduced myself!

He holds up his arms, waving them theatrically as he speaks the next sentence.

??? (Dramatically): I am Darth… Craggonus!

The people glance at each other as Vrildoxx looks confused.

Vrildoxx: Never heard of you.

Darth Craggonus deadpans, as he drops his arms.

Darth Craggonus (Annoyed): Well of course you’ve never heard of me. I was a secret Sith lord! I can’t exactly be a secret Sith lord if everyone knows my name!

Vrildoxx glares again.

Vrildoxx: What do you want from us!

Craggonus begins to approach Chancellor Vrildoxx, cackling madly.

Craggonus: Want from you? Absolutely nothing. I need you to… do something. Or more specifically, I need THEM-

He points to the crowd of onlookers.

Craggonus (Continued): To do what they do best… gossip.

He turns to the crowd.

Craggonus: I won’t lie, most of you are going to die tonight.

People immediately begin yelling, begging for mercy, or screaming to be let go.

Craggonus looks annoyed as he rolls his one remaining eye, nodding to Vhina.

Vhina swings The Darksaber upwards, and The Mandalorians around the room all shoot one shot into the crowd. The people scream, then go silent in fear, as the bodies hit the ground.

Craggonus: As I was saying, I need the rest of you to spread the story, the truth so to speak. It shouldn’t be too hard, you’ve already laid the groundwork after all.

He pauses, smiling madly.

Craggonus (Continue): For you see, Rey Solo, The Skywalker Grandmaster, and your last hope against The Sith like me, is ACTUALLY a Sith herself!

People begin to mutter amongst themselves with disgust.

Craggonus shrugs.

Craggonus: Well actually… she’s a clone of Palpatine, created and designed by Empire loyalists Doctor Daralex and Lillali Presell! Rey was created to become the most powerful Sith Lord to ever exist! Congratulations, your rumours, and petty gossips ended up being true. The Skywalkers are your enemies, as is The Sith! You have no allies, and you are doomed to fall as the final battle fast approaches! Now!

He claps his hands together.

Craggonus: Do with that information what you will, but know this! War is coming to The Republic. The Resistance and The Skywalkers cannot save you-

Vrildoxx (Interrupting Him): You fool!

Craggonus pauses, turning around to face Vrildoxx.

Vrildoxx (Continuing): The Republic has faced worse threats than you, and we ALWAYS come back, stronger than before. If you believe that we will roll over and show our stomachs while you step over us, you are greatly mistaken!

Craggonus chuckles, and takes three steps towards Vrildoxx, reaching forward and grabbing him by the throat as Zemmai removes the katana.

Vrildoxx gasps as he is lifted from the ground, Craggonus’s strength not even faulting. Vrildoxx reaches up, grasping Craggonus's hand as he tries to pull himself free.

Craggonus smiles.

Craggonus (Amused): You would know all about stepping over people, wouldn’t you Chancellor? Tell me, Tezzy, do you think you’re a hero?

Vrildoxx doesn’t answer, and Craggonus chuckles, opening his mouth, allowing a long snake-like tongue to lick up the side of Vrildoxx’s face, who tries to move his face out of the way, disgust in his expression.

Craggonus shuts his mouth, and turns back to the crowd, still hold Vrildoxx by the throat.

Craggonus: Do you think any of you are heroes!

He smiles madly.

Craggonus (Shouting): Then DIE LIKE ONE!

Craggonus suddenly spins around, his jaws opening as he bites into Chancellor Vrildoxx’s face.

The camera immediately cuts towards the people as they scream.

The camera cuts back to Craggonus as he drops Vrildoxx’s body to the floor, dead.

Craggonus turns to the crowd, his long tongue licking around his snout, cleaning the blood.

Craggonus: In two days, The Republic falls.

Craggonus laughs, as Vhina once more slices the Darksaber upwards. The Mandalorians around the room aim their weapons, firing several shots.

Then, they turn, leaping out the windows, activating their jetpacks, and flying away, Vhina, Zemmai and Vha Leng following.

Craggonus runs to the window and leaps out of it, disappearing out of view, his cackling laugher haunting those left behind.

The camera cuts back to the remaining survivors.

Over three hundred bodies lie on the ground. Only fifty people remain alive.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – LYN’S ROOM – NIGHT

The camera cuts to Lyn’s bedroom on Ajan Kloss, where she sits on the bed. Tears are in her eyes, as she stares blankly at the wall.

She hears a soft knock on the door and turns to see Connix.

Connix (Quietly): Lyn. You need to see this.

Lyn nods and stands up.

INT – AJAN KLOSS – RESISTANCE COMMAND – NIGHT

Lyn and Connix step into The Resistance command. Joshuan, Chewie, and Finn are already in there.

Chewbacca sits in a chair in the corner of the room with his head in his hands, next to R2-D2, BB-8, and C3-PO, all four of them unusually quiet, mourning the death of Rey.

Finn is using crutches, and his leg is in a cast. His eyes look lost, unable to shed any more tears.

Lyn (Quietly): Hey dad. How are you feeling?

Finn looks up at her. He quietly shrugs.

Finn (Quietly): I’m shocked… and I’m angry.

Lyn nods and glances at Joshuan, who seems to be in the same condition emotionally.

Joshuan (Muttering): Something good has come of today at least.

Joshuan glances up at Lyn.

Joshuan: Chancellor Vrildoxx is dead, killed by a Sith lord. The Resistance can finally act.

Lyn blinks in surprise, but then she nods.

Lyn: Is there anything else?

Connix nods and steps forward, pressing a button.

A hologram of Darth Craggonus appears.

Craggonus (Hologram): Well actually… she’s a clone of Palpatine, created and designed by Empire loyalists Doctor Daralex and Lillali Presell! Rey was created to become the most powerful Sith Lord to ever-

Lyn (Interrupting It): Shut it off.

Connix pauses the hologram.

Lyn: Who else knows about this?

Joshuan sighs, rubbing his head.

Joshuan: The senators left alive did their job well. It’s been played everywhere.

Lyn sighs, and grabs a chair, sitting down. She puts her head in her hands.

Lyn (Voice Breaking): We have to make sure the kids don’t find out about this.

Rose (Off-Screen, Quietly): Too late.

Everyone turns to see Rose, Han, and Mara Jade standing in the doorway. Han shrugs.

Han (Quietly): Sorry. I tried to stop her.

Rose narrows her eyes at them all, clutching her bandaged arm in pain.

Rose (Quietly, But Angrily): Our mother, just died, killed by my own sister, and no one has been bothered to tell us ANYTHING, and now I find you all sitting here, planning to keep more secrets from us. Where do the lies stop?

Everyone remains silent. Finn looks apologetic.

Finn (Quietly): Kid, listen-

Rose (Interrupting): Don’t call me kid.

Finn stays silent for a moment.

Finn: Rose. Rey’s past is not something she wanted to share, and she hated anyone talking about it. We were respecting her wishes.

Rose stays silent for a long moment until finally, she turns her head away.

Rose (Muttering): It hardly matters now.

She goes silent again.

Han sighs and steps forward.

Han: Can you at least tell us that there is some kind of plan? Please, give us something to do, let us help!

Everyone stays silent.

Lyn sighs.

Lyn (Quietly): There is no plan. Not yet.

Han looks disappointed, and he turns away from them.

Han (Muttering): Then I’ll give you a plan.

Mara (Quietly): Han…

Han glances at Mara, and his look softens. He nods, then turns back to the group.

Han: There are three crystals still out there. A war is coming to The Republic, and The Resistance needs to be there to stop it. I say, that Chewie, and Finn, should try and track down my dad and Poe, and destroy these crystals, so we can stop whatever it is that our sister is trying to do, while The Resistance goes to Coruscant to protect it.

Everyone stays silent.

Connix: Han, I get where you’re coming from, but it’s not your job to give orders. You can give suggestions, but NOT orders. Besides, we don’t even know where Poe and Ben are.

Finn (Quietly): Takodana. Poe sent me a message when they arrived.

Finn stays silent for a moment, as everyone glances at him.

Finn (Quietly): I’ll do it.

Everyone glances at Finn. Chewbacca gives a growl of approval, and Finn gives a thankful look at the Wookie.

Rose: I’ll come with you. Dad’s going to need help, and I know that Leia is going to be attacking Coruscant…

She goes silent for a moment.

Rose (Quietly): I can’t face her.

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: We get it ki-… Rose. Han, Mara, what do you want to do?

Han and Mara glance at each other, and something passes between them before they turn back to the group.

Han nods to Lyn.

Han: My blaster’s yours General. Just tell me where to point it.

Mara nods.

Mara: As is my blade. I will stand with my fellow Skywalkers against this threat, just as Rey taught us.

Lyn smiles softly at them and nods.

Lyn: Then welcome to The Resistance, Commander Solo, and Skywalker Jade.

Han and Mara nod in thanks.

Chapter Text

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – HANGER BAY – MORNING

The camera cuts to The Resistance hanger bay, as Rose puts a bag into a Resistance shuttle. She turns around and sees Daralex and Lillali.

She glances over at Han, who nods at her, then they approach the two.

Rose: Daralex, Lillali, right?

Daralex and Lillali glance at her.

Daralex: Yes. You were at Kamino, weren’t you?

Rose nods.

Rose: I’m Rose. I’m… Rey’s daughter.

Han: And I’m Han. I’m the son.

Rose: I’m guessing that makes you our Grandparents?

Lillali and Daralex glance at each other, then smile. They turn back to Rose and Han.

Lillali: I guess it does. It’s very nice to meet you, Rose, Han.

Rose smiles.

Rose: You too. I’m sorry, I’ve gotta go…

Daralex nods.

Daralex: We understand Rose. Good luck with your mission.

Rose nods.

Rose: Thank you. When it’s finished… can we talk? I’d… like to get to know my grandparents.

Lillali and Daralex smile.

Lillali: We’re looking forward to getting to know you too.

Rose turns to Han.

Rose: So…

Han smirks.

Han: So…

Rose: This is where our paths separate.

Han shrugs.

Han: Well, I figured it was about time you got to have a trip with dad.

Rose smiles and steps forward hugging her brother.

Han freezes in shock, unused to any affection from Rose before he hugs her back.

They stay still for a moment.

Rose: Ok, ten seconds are up.

Han laughs and lets her go.

Han: Good luck.

Rose: There’s no such thing as luck.

Han (Annoyed, Then Respectful): You know what I… May The Force be with you.

Rose gives a small smile.

Rose: And with you. We’ll certainly need it.

Rose steps back from her brother and grandparents, gives them one last small smile and then turns towards the ship. She takes a few steps before she turns back around.

Rose: Hey Pop, Nan? Don’t let Han have any sugar after dark. It makes him go crazy.

Daralex and Lillali chuckle, while Han gives an exasperated look.

Han: I’m older than you Rose. I’ll have sugar whenever I damn well feel like it. 

Rose smiles and continues towards the shuttle.

Joshuan steps up to her.

Joshuan: Rose?

Rose pauses to look at him. He extends his hand, holding Leia’s white Kyber crystal.

Joshuan: Finn and I found this on Kamino. I think you should hold onto it, so when we get her back, you can give it to her.

Rose (Quietly): She killed our mother. I don’t think she’s coming back.

Joshuan gives her a sad expression.

Joshuan (Sadly): Don’t give up hope Rose. If you do, then she truly is gone.

Rose looks down at the crystal for a long moment, then nods, picking it up.

Rose (Quietly): Thank you Joshuan.

Joshuan nods, and steps aside, letting her pass.

Mara Jade steps beside the ramp.

Rose pauses beside her as they face each other.

They share a quick sad smile, and Mara bows slightly to Rose. Rose bows back, then they both rise again.

Mara steps away, letting Rose board.

The camera cuts to Lyn, as Chewie hugs her. She laughs as the Wookie gives a growl.

Lyn: I’ll be alright Chewie. I’ll see you when this is done.

Chewbacca pulls away, keeping a hand on her shoulder before he turns and approaches the shuttle Rose just boarded.

Lyn smiles softly, then turns to Finn, who stands with the support of crutches.

Lyn: Dad?

Finn: You’ll do good kid. This’ll be over in no time.  I love you.

Lyn: I love you too. Stay safe.

Lyn smiles, and Finn kisses her head, then begins to slowly make his way towards the shuttle.

Han, Mara Jade, Daralex, and Lillali approach her.

Lyn: Come on, let’s get to The Olympus.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – MORNING

Rose sits in the co-pilot seat with Chewbacca, and Finn sits behind them.

Rose: Ok, Chewie. This is all on you, I have no idea how to fly.

Chewbacca growls something, as he begins to flick switches, glancing back at Finn.

Finn chuckles.

Finn: Don’t ask me, I’m in no condition to fly, and besides, I’m not much better than she is.

Chewbacca growls to himself in annoyance.

BB-8 rolls into the cockpit, chirping excitedly.

Rose: Great! BB-8 can be your co-pilot!

Chewbacca whines in response.

Everyone goes silent, as in the distance, a soft BOOM is heard.

Rose pales immediately, recognising the horrifying sound.

Rose (Fearfully): They’ve found us.

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

Allegiant General Pryde’s Dreadnought, The Calamity, hovers in the atmosphere of Ajan Kloss.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Three more Star-Destroyers appear beside The Calamity.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – MORNING

Admiral Griss and Allegiant General Pryde stand in the middle of the bridge window.

Admiral Griss looks out the window.

Griss (Surprised): They haven’t even left planet fall yet.

Pryde smirks.

Pryde (Confident): Their morale is completely shattered. They know they have no chance of winning this war… are the cannons primed?

Admiral Griss nods.

Admiral Griss: Yes sir.

Pryde: Then you may fire when ready.

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

The Calamity’s cannons take aim and begin to fire down towards the planet.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – MORNING

Lyn stumbles into the command bridge of The Olympus as the ground shakes from the blasts. R2 gives a loud shrill whine.

C3-PO waves to her.

C3-PO: General! Our shields cannot take much more!

Lyn stumbles to the command table.

Lyn: Tell me something I don’t know 3-PO! Connix! Get us out of here!

Connix spins in her seat.

Connix: Yes General! All hands, prepare for take-off-

BOOM! Another shot hits the shields, The Olympus rattles.

Connix (Continued): It’s going to be bumpy!

Connix takes one last look at the base. Another home, stolen from her.

After a moment, she turns back to her controls.

Connix pulls back a lever, and The Olympus begins to rise.

Lyn stumbles from a moment of nausea, and trips.

Joshuan appears beside her, grabbing her and pulling her upright.

Joshuan (Concerned): You ok?

Lyn nods, breathless, looking green.

Joshuan helps her into a seat.

On a bench on the wall in the room, Natjack buckles in the three Skywalker younglings, who remain quiet, their eyes wide and fearful as the ship shakes.

Lieutenant Gigs stumbles to his console.

Gigs: General! Do you want us to prime the cannons!

Lyn shakes her head.

Lyn: Focus all power on the shields and Hyperdrive!

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – HANGER BAY – MORNING

The Resistance shuttle that belongs to Finn and Chewbacca speeds out of the hangar bay, just as another shot collides with the ancient temple.

The shields are beginning to falter, rubble smashes down upon ships, leaving them buried and trapped. 

The Olympus rises from its landing pad, several smaller ships, including the Tantive IV, begin to rise.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – MORNING

Officer: Sir! Resistance ships are taking off!

Pryde growls.

Pryde: Send in The Daggers and Gauntlets to pick off the smaller ones. The fewer ships that make it to Coruscant, the easier the battle will be.

The officer nods and turns to his console.

Officer: All fighters, deploy! Crush the opposition!

INT – THE CALAMITY – HANGER BAY – MORNING

The camera cuts to the hanger bay, as Mandalorians and Sithtroopers board their ships.

We see a familiar black and red ship, shaped like an arrowhead, begin to lift from its holding station, shooting out into space.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – MORNING

Connix: Shields are at eight per cent General. We can’t hold any longer!

Lyn nods.

Lyn: Punch it, Admiral!

Lieutenant Gigs grips his console fearfully.

Gigs (Fearfully): May The Force be with us!

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – MORNING

The Olympus begins to gain speed, flying for the atmosphere, the jungle below them is on fire, decimated.

Tie Daggers and Mandalorian Gauntlets begin to dive-bomb into the Atmosphere, firing on the X-Wings trying to defend The Olympus.

Another shot fires from The Calamity, and it hits the Tantive IV, destroying it immediately. The ship that once belonged to General Leia Organa is gone. Nothing remains.

Another small Resistance ship explodes beside The Olympus, and another, and another.

Half of The Resistance fleet has been destroyed, and they haven’t even left the planet’s atmosphere.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – MORNING

Admiral Griss: Sir, primary weapon is primed!

Pryde smiles.

Pryde (Eagerly): Decimate them!

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

The Calamity’s main weapon aims, and fires, a massive red super laser that collides with The Resistance base on the planet’s surface.

EXT – AJAN KLOSS – MORNING

The base shields finally give way, the super lasers blast hits the temple, obliterating it instantly.

EXT – SPACE – AJAN KLOSS

Pieces of planet fly up, smashing into the side of The Olympus as it breaks the atmosphere.

Before any real damage can be taken, The Olympus escapes the atmosphere and vanishes into Hyperspace.

The remaining ships beside it are not so lucky and explode after crashing into the debris or each other.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – MORNING

In The Resistance shuttle, Rose closes her eyes in pain, feeling the deaths of all the souls left behind.

Chewbacca roars, as he manoeuvres the ship through the planet’s rubble. Finn looks out the window in panic.

Finn (Panicking): We can’t jump with this debris!

Rose looks out the window towards The Calamity, seeing that several parts of the planet are battering the massive dreadnought.

Rose: Neither can they! So long as we get out of here before they do, we’re home free!

BOOM!

The ship shutters, damage alarms begin to sound.

Finn: Chewie! What are you doing!

Chewbacca roars.

Finn: Don’t worry about worsening my condition! Do what you do best!

Chewbacca pauses, turning back to Finn, and smirks.

He turns back to the console, punching forward the accelerator.

Finn and Rose hit the back of their seats with a thwack as The Resistance shuttle speeds forward suddenly, perfectly manoeuvring around the debris of the exploded planet.

BB-8 comically screams as he goes flying backwards, out of the cockpit and into the room behind them.

Rose laughs, while Finn looks like he is going to be sick.

Rose (Excited): Chewie! Where did you learn to fly like this?!

Chewbacca roars in excitement. (Before she was born).

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

They swerve and dodge through chunks of the destroyed planet, some pieces still intact with mountains, jungle valleys, and waterfalls frozen by the cold of space.

The ship ducks under another part of the land, where a part of the temple remains when suddenly they are pelted by laser fire, as The Phantom Shard materializes behind them.

INT – THE PHANTOM SHARD – COCKPIT – MORNING

Zemmai Dryc is out the helm, expertly manoeuvring the arrow-head-shaped craft around the chunks of the planet, keeping The Resistance shuttle insight.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – MORNING

Finn looks out the window in surprise.

Finn: Who the hell is this!

Rose looks back out the window and gets an annoyed look on her face.

Rose (Annoyed): One of the ships that attacked us on Ahch-To. I thought Mara shot it down!

Finn: Well clearly she didn’t do a very good job!

Chewbacca roars at them both in annoyance. (Let me concentrate!)

Rose (Shouting): Ok!

Finn (Shouting): Shutting up!

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

The Phantom Shard continues to pursue The Resistance shuttle through the debris of Ajan Kloss, trying desperately to avoid collision, without losing its target.

Chewie spins the shuttle towards one of the planetary fragments with the remains of a massive mountain on the top.

The ship scraps across the surface of the mountain as it flies upwards, weaving from side to side, avoiding the shots from The Phantom Shard.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COMMON AREA – MORNING

As the shuttle ducks and weaves through the trees on the mountain, BB-8 rolls around the room, hitting the walls and knocking over everything not bolted down.

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

The Resistance shuttle flips downwards, spinning through the debris as it flies into the remains of a cave.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COMMON AREA – MORNING

As the ship flips upside down, BB-8 falls downwards, but quickly shoots out his wires, grappling onto the walls and roof, holding himself in place like a spider’s web.

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

The shuttle burst through the cave wall, still flying upwards full speed at the jagged mountain peak, The Phantom Shard close behind.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – MORNING

Finn’s eyes widen in fear.

Finn: Chewie! What are you doing!

Chewbacca roars again. (Let me work!)

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

The Resistance shuttle reaches the top of the jagged mountain peak and begins to fire on it.

The mountain peak explodes, sending projectiles spinning into the path of The Phantom Shard.

The Phantom Shard is hit by a massive piece of frozen landmass, knocking it spiralling off course.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – MORNING

Chewbacca roars, smugly.

Rose laughs, while Finn grabs at a nearby bucket.

Rose: Great job Chewie! Now let’s get out of here!

Chewbacca roars in agreement and pulls down the lever for the Hyperdrive.

EXT – SPACE – PLANET DEBRIS FIELD

The Resistance shuttle blasts into hyperspace, leaving the destroyed remains of Ajan Kloss behind them.

INT – THE PHANTOM SHARD – COCKPIT – MORNING

Zemmai is desperately flicking switches, and after a few tense moments, manages to stop The Phantom Shard from spinning out of control. Alarms blare in the background, but she pays them no mind and begins to fly towards The Calamity, still avoiding planetary debris.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – MORNING

The camera cuts back to the bridge of The Calamity. Griss glances at Pryde.

Griss: Allegiant General. They have escaped.

Pryde smirks.

Pryde (Calmly): It matters not.

He turns to look out the window, into the blackness of space.

Pryde: Their morale is shattered. They can run, but they can no longer hide. We will chase them until they can no longer outrun us.

He turns back to his crew.

Pryde: Set a course to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet. The countdown to the final battle has begun.

INT – THE MILLENNIUM FALCON – COMMON AREA – MIDDAY

Poe steps up the ramp to The Millennium Falcon into the common area. He sighs, and leans against the wall, holding a hand over his eyes. A soft sob is let out, as he breathes shakily.

After a long moment, he stands back up and turns towards the cockpit. He takes a step, then pauses as he notices something in the corner of the frame.

He turns and approaches it.

There is a tiny gadget stuck to a pipe, with a steady, red blinking light.

His eyes widen in surprise as he plucks it from the dash.

Poe (Realisation): Oh no…

He crushes the dot between his fingers and runs to the cockpit.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – MIDDAY 

The camera cuts to the bridge of The Olympus, as Lyn sighs in relief.

She turns to the command table, putting her head in her hands. She hears a beeping, and she looks up.

The display shows the status of the deployed Resistance fleet.

Only The Olympus and Finn’s Resistance shuttle remain. The rest are crossed out with large X’s.

Lyn looks saddened, as fresh tears appear in her eyes.

Joshuan (Concerned): Lyn?

Lyn quickly wipes her tears and looks up at Joshuan. The entire bridge is looking at her.

Connix turns in her seat.

Connix (Sternly): Back to work!

The bridge turns back to their tasks as Connix stands up from her seat, approaching Lyn.

Lyn glances at Connix and Joshuan.

Lyn (Quietly): I’m fine.

Joshuan and Connix glance at each other.

Joshuan (Concerned): Lyn, listen-

A loud beeping from the command deck interrupts him.

Lyn presses a button, and Poe appears as a hologram.

Poe (Panicking): Lyn, sweetheart, listen. There was a tracker on The Falcon, The Resistance is in danger, you need to evacuate NOW!

Everyone remains silent.

After a long moment, Lyn lets out a sound that’s somewhere between a laugh and a sob.

Lyn (Crying): It’s all gone dad. Most of the fleet has been destroyed, and the base was hit so hard the side of the planet exploded. I failed you!

Poe looks defeated.

Poe (Weakly): Lyn… you didn’t fail me. It was my fault. I should have kept checking The Falcon for trackers. I’m sorry.

Lyn sighs.

Lyn (Quietly): Let’s just agree to each take half the blame.

Poe smiles sadly.

Poe: That’s a deal I can make. What’s happening?

Lyn: Rose, Chewie, and Dad are on their way to you. They’re going to help you and Ben find the last three crystals so you can destroy them. Vrildoxx is dead, so we can finally make a stand against The Sith.

Poe nods.

Poe: Sounds like a good plan. Also, there is something you need to know, about Leia.

Lyn’s breathing hitches and Joshuan frowns beside her.

Poe: It wasn’t her. We don’t know how, but we suspect that Snoke somehow used the crystals to transfer his spirit into Leia’s body.

Joshuan and Lyn share a look of surprise.

Joshuan (Shocked): So… it wasn’t Leia that… killed Rey.

Poe shakes his head.

Poe: It wasn’t. There may be a chance to save her if we can act quickly.

Lyn nods, a large weight seems to have been lifted from her shoulders.

Lyn (In Relief): Leia’s a good kid. When I was told… I couldn’t believe she would do something like that. I’m glad I was wrong. I’ll make sure to tell Han and Mara.

Poe: Thank you. Can you let Rey’s parents know as well?

Lyn silently nods, and both stay quiet for a moment.

Lyn: Dad… good luck on the mission, ok. Please, keep both of yourselves safe. I don’t know what I would do without either of you.

Poe: I’ll do my best, General. I won’t fail you. We’ll find the last crystals, and end this thing, quickly.

Lyn smiles.

Lyn: Thanks, Dad. I love you.

Poe smiles at his daughter.

Poe: I’m so proud of you, Lyn. We’ll get through this. I love you too. Stay safe.

Lyn: You too.

Poe gives one last smile, and the hologram deactivates.

Lyn turns when they hear a door opening. Han, Mara Jade, Daralex and Lillali enter the bridge.

Joshuan glances at all of them.

Joshuan: Good, you’re all here. Lyn, Natjack, Mara, Han, Daralex, and Lillali, I need to talk to you all privately.

Lyn looks at him, then nods.

Lyn: Connix, we’ll be in my quarters if you need us.

Connix nods.

Connix: Understood General.

EXT – TAKODANA – FORREST PATH – MIDDAY

The camera cuts back to Takodana, as Poe jogs towards Ben and Jaina, who walk along a path.

Poe: Ben!

Ben and Jaina pause, and turn to Poe.

Poe: The Sith Empire attacked The Resistance. Ajan Kloss has been destroyed. Lyn and the others managed to escape, and are headed to Coruscant to make a last stand. Finn, Rose, and Chewie are coming here to meet up with us, so we can go and find the last of these crystals and destroy them. Also…

He pauses for a moment.

Poe: They know where we are. There was a tracker on The Falcon. They’ll be coming for us.

Ben stays still a moment.

Ben (Resigned): Then we’ll deal with them. What about Han and Mara?

Poe: They’re staying with The Resistance, to help out however they can.

Ben sighs and nods sadly. Jaina raises an eyebrow.

Jaina: What’s wrong Solo?

Ben (Quietly): I hurt Han’s feelings. I wanted to apologise in person.

Jaina shrugs.

Jaina: What’s the point of apologising?

Ben glares at her.

Ben (Anger): He’s my son.

Jaina (Bored): And?

Ben opens his mouth to speak, then closes it again.

Just how much Jaina has changed over the last twenty years is a shock to him. She almost seems… meaner. Angrier.

Ben (Quietly): He deserves an apology.

Jaina shrugs, and turns away, continuing to walk down the path.

Jaina: It happened. It’s in the past. Didn’t you want to, and I quote, ‘Kill the past’?

Ben’s look turns sour.

Ben (Muttering): A lot changed since then.

EXT – TAKODANA – SHIP LANDING AREAS – MIDDAY

Jaina laughs, as they step into a courtyard, revealing The Knight Buzzard.

Ben stops in shock, the ship brings back old memories.

Ben (Surprised): You’ve still got it?

Jaina shrugs as the ramp lowers.

Jaina: You’ve still got the Junkium Eagle.

Poe glances at her.

Poe: Don’t let Chewie hear you call it that. He was sour for days.

Jaina laughs, as she boards The Knight Buzzard.

Jaina: Why would I care what someone’s mood is?

Poe: Because that someone can rip you in half with their bare hands.

Jaina: Really? I look forward to that challenge.

Poe and Ben step up The Knight Buzzards ramp behind her.

INT – THE KNIGHT BUZZARD – WEAPONS SMITH – MIDDAY

Jaina leads them into the weapons smith on The Knight Buzzard, the same place that Cardo had repaired Kylo Ren’s helmet so long ago.

A loud banging is heard, as the camera pans to show a small, monkey-looking alien, with a black hood covering his head. Large, sensitive ears like an elf point out from under his hood and large silver goggles cover his eyes.

Some kind of gadget is held in front of him, held up by small metal arms.

Jaina: Albrekh! We have guests!

Albrekh looks up, screeching in rage as he begins shouting in an alien language.

Jaina shouts back in the same language, as Ben and Poe look between them in amazement.

After a moment, Albrekh stops shouting, muttering as he jumps off his stool, storming away. Jaina turns back to Ben and Poe.

Jaina: Sorry about that, Albrekh has a rather rude tongue, but he’s a good weapons smith. Almost as good as Cardo.

Ben glances at her.

Ben: His name was Cyrumos.

Jaina narrows her eyes.

Jaina (Firm): His name was Cardo. He, Kuruk, and Trudgen didn’t get to choose their side, so I’ll call them what they wanted in their last moments.

Ben doesn’t respond, as he steps closer to a bench.

Lying on the bench, are the helmets of The Knights of Ren, Kylo Ren’s helmet still glowing with the orange marks rests in the middle of them.

He picks it, a troubled look on his face.

Ben (Quietly): Is this mine?

Jaina steps closer to him.

Jaina: Yeah. The others I had to reconstruct, based on Cardo’s designs, but that one is yours. After everything, I went back to Endor to find it.

Ben turns to her.

Ben: Why?

Jaina shrugs.

Jaina: Because they remind me of a time that was-

Ben (Cutting her off): Better?

Jaina stays silent for a moment.

Jaina (Continued): Simpler.

Ben nods, and places the helmet back into its place, turning away from it, uneasy with being faced by it.

Poe stands behind them both, looking lost and out of place.

Zorii Bliss steps into the room, a small alien sits on her shoulder.

Alien: Hey Hey!

Poe turns them, joy on his face.

Poe (Happily): Babu?!

The little alien, named Babu Frik laughs.

Babu Frik: Dameron!

Poe laughs, stepping towards them.

Poe: Hey man, how have you been-

Zorii growls, cutting him off as she turns to Jaina.

Zorii (Anger): Why are they here?

Jaina sighs.

Jaina: I’ve agreed to help them with their Sith problem.

Zorii (Surprised): The Sith!

She turns to Poe.

Zorii (Frightened): Who are you hanging out with to be involved with The Sith?

Poe raises an eyebrow, and gestures to Ben. Ben glares at Poe as Zorii turns to him, angry at having been thrown under the bus.

Zorii (Angrily): And who the hell are you, anyway!

Ben (Quietly): My name is Ben Solo.

Zorii goes silent.

Zorii (Shocked): Oh.

Jaina rolls her eyes.

Jaina (Bored): Trust me, he’s not that impressive.

She smirks at Ben’s annoyed look, then steps to Zorii.

Jaina: Zorii, listen. You remember that guy I told you about, the person I used to serve.

Zorii nods.

Jaina: He’s back, and I can’t rest easy knowing he is. I’ve gotta finish this job.

Zorii sighs.

Zorii: There’s no talking you out of this, is there?

Jaina shakes her head.

Jaina: There isn’t, but you, Babu, and Albrekh don’t need to be a part of this. I’m more than happy to drop you on Kef Bir.

Babu Frik raises his hands.

Babu: Together! Yup Yup!

Jaina smiles, and Zorii sighs.

Zorii: Jannah’s gonna hate me if I get you killed. You’re the boss Jaina, but the next high-end job we take, you don’t get ANY of the cut.

Jaina smirks.

Jaina (Amused): Twenty per cent.

Zorii (Firm): Five.

Jaina (Questioning): Ten?

Zorii (Firm): Seven, and not any higher.

Jaina smirks and holds out her hand.

Jaina (Amused): Do we have an accord?

Zorii takes her hand.

Zorii: Agreed.

Jaina turns back to Ben and Poe.

Jaina: Congratulations, you have your crew!

She gives an almost frightening smile.

Jaina (Evilly): Now let's make em hurt.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – LYN’S QUARTERS – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to Lyn’s quarters, where Lyn, Joshuan, Natjack, Mara, Han, Lillali, and Daralex all sit around the table.

Han looks a mixture of troubled and relieved.

Han: I knew Leia couldn’t have been responsible. She was always the closest to mum, there’s no way she could have done something like that.

Mara nods in agreement.

Mara: There’s a hope to save her, right?

Joshuan sighs.

Joshuan: We don’t know. We’re hoping that by destroying the crystals, Snoke’s spirit will be destroyed and save Leia… until then, however, there is the matter of right now.

Joshuan glances at Lyn, who nods, looking towards Daralex and Lillali, still dressed in their Sith Empire Uniforms.

Lyn: We need to know about the both of you. Where do you stand in all of this? It's about time we get some answers, and you had better share them.

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other, then sigh. Daralex nods towards Lyn.

Daralex: We will tell you everything you want to know. You need only ask.

Lyn stays silent for a long moment, suspicion in her eyes. Han, Mara, and Natjack share uneasy looks.

Lyn: What is your relation to Snoke? Why serve him?

Daralex looks uneasy but then steadies his breath.

Daralex: Snoke… was the first successful clone that we created while we served Emperor Palpatine, created using my blood and the DNA samples of a secret Sith Lord known as Darth Plagueis.

Lillali nods.

Lillali: While… Rey was created using samples of Palpatine’s DNA and my blood.

Daralex sighs, and takes his wife’s hand, taking comfort in each other.

Daralex (Uneasy): If you consider Rey to be our daughter, then Snoke is our son, though he would hardly recognise that. As for why we served him, we were hostages. Years ago, when we smuggled Rey away from Palpatine and left her on Jakku, Snoke had just been given the reigns to The First Order and was sent after us.

Lillali sighs.

Lillali: We struck a deal with him. We promised that so long as he never went after Rey, and kept her from The Emperor, then we would put our skills under his instruction.

Daralex gives a serious look to those gathered around the table.

Daralex: Those skills… allowed for the cloning of a Sith army, under the code name Project Craggonus, using samples that an Inquisitor gathered from Force Sensitive Children around the galaxy.

Mara Jade's breath hitches.

Mara (Fearfully): I know what you’re talking about.

Daralex and Lillali glance at her.

Mara (Angrily): I was one of those children. The First Order kidnapped me and killed my parents. They would have killed me as well if Ben and Han hadn’t found me, and taken me in. You mean to tell me, that all of that torture I experienced, was because of your sick experiments!?

Daralex sighs in frustration.

Daralex: I know of our sins, and I am more than ready to be judged for them. You don’t have to trust me, but I am willing to help you stop the Sith Empire. I am not an idiot. Did you really think I would create an army, without a way to destroy it?

Mara narrows her eyes at him. After a moment Han steps forward and takes her hand, and she relaxes.

Joshuan coughs awkwardly and glances at Lyn.

Joshuan: They’ve been telling the truth. Rather arrogantly, but it’s the truth.

Daralex glances at him.

Daralex (Angrily): I’m a scientist. It’s my job to push the limits of what reality can do, and I’m damn proud of what I have accomplished, even if it has been used for the wrong reasons. I am proud of my skills, and what I have created. I am not proud of what my creations have been used for.

Lillali shakes her head.

Lillali (Quietly): Except for Rey.

Daralex pauses then sighs.

Daralex: Except for Rey… I’m… proud of the life she made for herself.

He glances at Han.

Daralex (Quietly): And the family she has made.

Lyn nods.

Lyn: I don’t trust you. Not yet. But I know all about being forced to play the wrong side, so, I’m going to give you a chance to prove yourselves. I don’t care if you join The Resistance, but if you are willing to help us in the coming battle, then I’ll ensure that you get a fair trial for your crimes and that you will be looked on favourably.

Daralex and Lillali glance at each other, then nod.

Lillali: That is all we can ask. Where do you want us to begin?

Lyn smiles softly, then her face hardens again. 

Lyn (Firm): How do we destroy the Sith army?

Daralex sighs.

Daralex: Every time throughout history, The Sith Empire has seldom been toppled by its enemies, but has rather collapsed from within due to infighting. I devised a plan, that each clone would be outfitted with a chip in the base of their neck that would be rigged to explode should the detonator be activated, thus ensuring loyalty without the downfalls of the inhibitor chips used in The Clones of The Republic. The Sith have free will so that they aren’t glorified droids, but if they show any signs of treasonous thoughts, they can be extinguished. Snoke agreed with my plan, but…

He trails off. Lyn narrows her eyes.

Lyn: But?

Lillali glances at Daralex then sighs.

Lillali: Snoke didn’t trust us. We were a tool to be used, a tool without free will. He believed that this was our attempt at undermining him. So, he put restrictions on us. We were kept under continuous surveillance, even while we slept. This way he could ensure that only one detonator was ever created…

Daralex sighs and takes off his glasses, rubbing his eyes.

Daralex: The detonator that never leaves Snoke's person.

Joshuan chuckles.

Joshuan: Well, it’s never easy. But I do have a way we might make it easier.

Joshuan reaches out his hand, pulling out a small device from his wrist, and placing it in the centre of the table, in view of everyone.

It is the same device that Snoke stole from Rey. Han looks at it in confusion.

Han: What is that?

Joshuan glances at him.

Joshuan: Rey gave them to everyone who was knighted as a Master. It’s a Skywalker beacon.

He glances at Mara.

Joshuan: You were supposed to be given one when you finished your trials.

Natjack stares at it.

Natjack (Confused): There’s no button. How does it work?

Joshuan smiles at his apprentice.

Joshuan: The button is inside the device. You can only activate it using The Force.

He smirks at Lyn. 

Joshuan (Amused): Your dad accidentally rolled over in his sleep and activated it, causing the whole lot of us to panic. Rey changed the design afterwards.

Lyn chuckles.

Joshuan turns back to the group.

Joshuan: Whoever discovers the return of The Sith, was meant to send word to Rey, and she was going to activate the beacons, calling The Skywalkers across The Galaxy to war.

He turns to Lyn.

Joshuan (Sadly): Because she’s no longer here, and Ben and Finn are currently unavailable, if you believe it’s time, then I’m the one responsible for activating the beacon.

Lyn stays silent for a long moment.

Lyn (Quietly): It’s time.

Joshuan nods, and closes his eyes, reaching his hand out towards the beacon.

The camera focuses on the beacon, as it stays silent for a long moment before it clicks. A steady red blinking light begins to blink.

EXT – SHILI – VILLAGE HUTS – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the Togruta’s home planet of Shili, overlooking several huts, built to look like the Togruta’s Lekku.

EXT – SHILI – VILLAGE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the ground, as we see a young human man, rushing through the crowd of Togruta’s that step to the side.

The man is named Temiri Blagg, grown up since we last saw him at the end of The Rise of Skywalker.

He wears brown robes with several straps, buckles, and pieces of cloth fashioned for him by the Togruta village. Over the top of his robes, he wears a long dark brown coat, and on his left shoulder is a silver pauldron, where a long strip of brown fabric is attached, the remains of his Skywalker master cloak ripped and torn by the harsh environment.

He carries his lightsaber, a long black staff-like weapon, with a large silver axe connected near the emitter of the blade, used for hunting and cutting obstacles without burning them.

He doesn’t stop as he reaches a hut, pulling aside the curtain and entering.

INT – SHILI – TEMIRI AND ALETTAN’S HUT – AFTERNOON

Temiri Blagg (Shouting): Alettan!

Alettan Darual enters the room.

Alettan Darual is a pink female Togruta, with white tattoos and green Lekku.

She wears a short brown crop top, showing off her tattoos on her stomach and bear arms, except for the silver pauldron on her left shoulder, matching her husband's, and silver armour on her forearms.

Her Brown Skywalker cloak is attached to her belt, acting as a sort of skirt.

Attached to her belt are two tonfa-shaped Lightsabers, a perpendicular-gripped type of short lightsaber, with a second handle extending from the main hilt at ninety degrees.

In her hand, she is holding her Skywalker Beacon, its red light blinking softly.

She has a sad look on her face, as Temiri holds up his own blinking beacon.

EXT – DATHOMIR – VILLAGE CENTRE – EVENING

The camera cuts to Dathomir, as two Zabrak’s clash into each other, holding their hands as they push against the other. Around them, the rest of the village cheers one of them on.

One of the Zabrak’s, named Tubru, has dark green, with black tribal tattoos. He is shirtless, except for a spiked pauldron on his left shoulder. A small dark red Skywalker cloak, more of a rag, is attached to the pauldron, only covering his upper left arm and shoulder.

A brown strap covers his chest, extending from his pauldron to his skirt piece, which is a mixture of red, grey, and silver, and a black double-bladed lightsaber hangs from his skirt.

On his forearms are two armoured gauntlets, with six spikes extending from them, and his hands are bare.

Two bright green scars extend down his left eye, but his bright green eyes have not been affected by the old wound.

Above them, seated on a throne, a Nightsister sits, watching the two Zabrak’s wrestle with a bored expression.

The Nightsister, named Konsoz, has pale white skin, with short grey hair, covered by a blood-red hood and robes. Her eyes are yellow, but not Sith yellow. She wears a black Skywalker Master cloak around her waist, and a gold lightsaber with a curved spike at the emitter is clipped to her belt.

Suddenly, she hears a beeping, and her eyes widen in surprise as she sits up, pulling the left sleeve of her robe down, revealing The Skywalker beacon, blinking red.

Below her, Tubru slams his opponent into the ground with a warrior’s roar, holding the other Zabrak in place.

He pauses, hearing a loud beeping, and the cheering village goes silent.

Tubru stands up straight, allowing his opponent to sit up, as he pulls the Skywalker beacon off a string around his neck.

He turns, looking up to Konsoz, with a surprised look.

EXT – RYLOTH – MESA PLATEAU – EVENING

The camera cuts to the Twi’lek home planet of Ryloth, in the middle of a large desert. In the centre of the desert is a massive mesa plateau, where two people are seen.

One of them, a young female Chiss named Sor’edaet, with glowing red eyes, bright blue skin, and long flowing dark blue hair, trains with her lightsaber, going through her combat stances.

Her lightsaber blade is white, showing that she is only a Skywalker Knight, but her lightsaber hilt is a mixture of blue, silver, and black.

She wears a short dark grey coat that only extends a little past her hips, a short light grey shirt, leaving a small amount of her stomach exposed, dark brown long pants, and black boots.

The other person is a purple male Twi’lek named Apabparor, who sits cross-legged, with his eyes closed. He wears black robes, with two large dark brown leather strips creating a sort of armour over them. On his hilt is a short black and silver lightsaber hilt, and a large black Skywalker cloak covers his shoulders.

The beeping starts, and Apabparor opens his eyes, pulling out the Skywalker beacon.

Sor’edaet pauses mid-stance, turning to her master.

Sor’edaet: Master?

A look of acceptance flashes across Apabparor’s face.

Apabparor: Come here Sor’edaet. Fate has called upon us.

INT – RODIA – PALACE HALLS – EVENING

The camera cuts to Rodia, inside the palace where a Rodian male strolls through its halls.

The Rodian, named Zois Zsagong, wears light brown Skywalkers robes, with black boots, and a large black Skywalkers cloak, sown onto the shoulders of his robes.

He pauses, as he hears the beacon, and sighs, turning around and beginning to walk back the way he came, pulling the beacon out as he walks.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – EVENING

The camera cuts to Rose and Finn on The Resistance shuttle. Both of them hear the beeping, and pull out their beacons, with an accepting look.

Chewbacca glances at them, with a soft growl.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – EVENING

The camera cuts to the bridge of The Calamity.

Snoke stands at the front of the bridge, gazing out into the blue lines of Hyperspace.

She pauses, as she hears a beeping, and pulls down her sleeve, revealing The Skywalker beacon that she stole from Rey.

She smirks.

INT – THE KNIGHT BUZZARD – WEAPONS SMITH – EVENING

Ben Solo pulls out his own Skywalker beacon, looking at the flashing light.

Suddenly the light stops, and after a few moments of silence, a small hologram of Rey appears.

Rey (Hologram): This is Skywalker Grandmaster Rey Solo. If this beacon has been activated-

EXT – RYLOTH – MESA PLATEAU – EVENING

The camera cuts back to Ryloth, as Apabparor and Sor’edaet both gaze at the hologram, with sad looks.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): -then it means the worst has happened. The Sith have returned.

EXT – DATHOMIR – VILLAGE CENTRE – EVENING

The camera cuts to Konsoz and Tubru on Dathomir.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): Our darkest hour and greatest fear is upon us.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – EVENING

The camera cuts back to The Resistance shuttle, as both Finn and Rose look at their holograms.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): If you are receiving this pre-recorded message, it means… I have failed you.

Rose closes her eyes in pain.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – LYN’S QUARTERS – AFTERNOON

Cut back to Lyn’s quarters on The Olympus, as the group glances at Han with sad looks. Han has tears in his eyes, as he listens to his mother’s voice for the last time.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): I am no longer here to guide you in the coming battle.

Mara Jade, with her own tear-filled eyes, takes Han’s hand, and he gives her a soft squeeze.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – EVENING

Snoke gazes down at the hologram with an amused smirk.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): I can only offer you this. Trust… in The Force.

A single tear drops down her face, and Snoke reaches up, catching it. Her gaze turns to rage.

INT – SHILI – TEMIRI AND ALETTAN’S HUT – AFTERNOON

Temiri and Alettan take each other’s hands in comfort.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): Trust in each other.

INT – RODIA – PALACE HANGER BAY – EVENING

The camera cuts back to Rodia, as Zois enters the palace hangar bay, watching the hologram as he does.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): The Galaxy needs you now more than ever.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – EVENING

Chewbacca gives a low whine of sadness. Tears begin to fall from Rose’s and Finn’s eyes.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): Unless it is unsafe to do so, in which I hope whoever activates this beacon will guide you to somewhere else, head to The Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

INT – THE KNIGHT BUZZARD – WEAPONS SMITH – EVENING

The camera cuts back to Ben Solo, as his tears begin to fall again.

Rey (Hologram, Continued): Stay safe… and may The Force be with you, always…

The hologram lingers for a few moments, before disappearing.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – EVENING

Pryde glances at Snoke.

Pryde: Supreme Leader?

Snoke puts the device back under her sleeve and turns to him.

Snoke: Prepare our forces for the attack, and set course for Coruscant.

Pryde smirks.

Pryde: As you wish, Supreme Leader.

INT – THE KNIGHT BUZZARD – WEAPONS SMITH – EVENING

Jaina and Poe step closer to Ben.

Jaina (Confused): What was that?

Ben turns to face them.

Ben: The Skywalkers have been called to war.

Chapter Text

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

The camera cuts to the command bridge of The Olympus, as Lyn, Joshuan, Mara, Han, Daralex, Lillali and Natjack enter.

They approach the window, standing beside Connix, as the blue streaks of Hyperspace disappear.

Coruscant looms before them.

The air on the bridge is tense. Everyone knows that the quiet will not last long.

After a few long moments, Joshuan turns to Lyn.

Joshuan: I need to head to the temple, and meet the other Skywalkers.

Lyn nods. Mara steps forward.

Mara: I’m coming with you.

Joshuan turns to Mara, shaking his head.

Joshuan (Quietly): I can’t let you. You’re not a master yet, Mara. I couldn’t in good conscious bring you to what may be your death.

Mara smiles softly.

Mara: Actually, I passed the test. I just wasn’t knighted because… well, you know.

Joshuan looks surprised for a brief moment.

Joshuan: Show me.

Mara stays still a moment, then reaches to her belt, unclipping her lightsaber, and activating it. The bridge of The Olympus lights up with a soft purple glow.

Mara: And I’m wearing the cape.

Connix chuckles.

Connix: That’ll do it.

Joshuan smiles.

Joshuan (Proud): Then Skywalker Knight Mara Jade, kneel before me.

Mara blinks in surprise and glances at Han, who grins and nods.

She deactivates her lightsaber, and kneels before Joshuan, in the centre of the bridge. Coruscant looms behind her, as Joshuan activates one of his Lightsabers.

He then holds it upwards, separating him and Mara with the blade. The entire bridge is silent as they watch on.

Joshuan: It’s been a while since this was last done, but I think I’ve got the gist of it.

His expression turns serious.

Joshuan: Mara Jade, you kneel before me having passed the last stage of your training. There is but one last test. Do you understand this?

Mara nods.

Mara: I do.

Joshuan’s face remains blank.

Joshuan: Do you, Mara Jade, accept the responsibility The Galaxy has bestowed upon you? Think carefully, as there is no going back.

Mara: I do.

Joshuan: Do you swear to be brave, to protect the innocent, even at the risk of your own life?

Mara: I do.

Joshuan: And do you swear, to uphold the peace and values of The Galaxy as they are today?

Mara: I do.

Joshuan: And do you swear to uphold the values of love, friendship, and forgiveness?

Mara looks at Han, who smiles and flashes her a thumbs up.

She smiles back at him, before lowering her head again.

Mara: I do.

Joshuan: And do you swear, that should an opportunity comes, where you can make peace without harm, that you will take it?

Mara: I do.

Joshuan smiles and motions his lightsaber in a knighting gesture across her shoulders.

Joshuan: Then arise, Skywalker Master Mara Jade, Protector of Coruscant.

Mara smiles as she stands, and both she and Joshuan bow to one another as everyone on the bridge beings to applaud and cheer for her.

Once she straightens herself, her face breaks out in a wide grin, as the three Skywalker younglings rush forward, tackling her into a hug, knocking her onto the ground.

She laughs as she hugs them back.

Joshuan and Lyn watch with proud smiles on their faces, as they take each other’s hands.

The Skywalker younglings allow Mara to stand up, as Han approaches her.

Han: See. Told you that you’d get there.

Mara smirks, and reaches forward, hugging him.

After a moment, they share a quick kiss, then separate.

Natjack approaches Joshuan.

Natjack: Master?

Joshuan turns to his apprentice.

Natjack: I’m coming as well. Master’s and Apprentices are always meant to have each other’s backs. Besides, you’re going to need all of us if we want a chance to win.

Joshuan opens his mouth to speak, then closest it again, seeing the determination in the young boy's face.

Joshuan (Quietly): Ok.

He turns to Mara Jade.

Joshuan: Mara, get the kids ready to head to the temple. We can hide them away until after the battle.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – HANGER BAY – NIGHT

The camera cuts to The Resistance hanger bay, as Joshuan picks up Olisha, helping her into The Resistance shuttle.

Lyn (Off-Screen): Joshuan?

Joshuan turns around to face Lyn.

Joshuan: Yes dear?

Lyn smiles.

Lyn: Can I talk to you for a moment?

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: Sure. Natjack?

Natjack sticks his head out of the door.

Joshuan: Help Mara finish loading the kids and supplies.

Natjack: Yes Master.

Joshuan turns, and he and Lyn walk over to an empty part of the hanger, where they can speak in private.

Joshuan (Concerned): Lyn, are you ok? You’re trembling.

Lyn nods quickly.

Lyn: Listen… I just need you to promise that you will come back.

Joshuan shrugs.

Joshuan: You know I hate to make promises, but I’ll do my best.

Lyn shakes her head.

Lyn: No. I NEED you to come back. There is someone who needs to meet you.

She places a hand on her stomach.

Joshuan glances down at it and tilts his head in confusion. Suddenly his eyes widen in surprise.

Joshuan (Stuttering): Are… are you?!

Lyn smiles.

Lyn (Cheerfully): Yep!

Joshuan looks even more shocked.

Joshuan (Confused): Mine?

Lyn looks unimpressed as she rolls her eyes in annoyance.

Lyn (Deadpan): Who else would it have been?

Joshuan laughs.

Joshuan: Right, sorry.

He kneels in front of her and places a hand on her stomach.

He shakes his head in disbelief.

Joshuan: I can’t believe I didn’t sense it. Hey, little one. It’s good to meet you.

Lyn smiles at him, as he stands back up.

Joshuan: Wait, so the nausea, headaches?

Lyn (Cutting Him Off): Yeah.

Joshuan: Wow. I mean… I thought you were sick. I was worried!

Lyn: I know, but I wasn’t sure how you would react, so I didn’t want to tell you yet.

Joshuan nods in understanding.

Joshuan: Don’t worry. I’m unbelievably happy… who else knows?

Lyn shrugs.

Lyn: Connix, the medics, Chewie figured it out a while ago, and I told Leia that night on the island.

Joshuan (Confused): You haven’t told your dads?

Lyn: I wasn’t sure how they would react.

Joshuan (Amused): Finn would probably slap me on the back while Poe tries to shoot me.

Lyn laughs, and Joshuan smiles, as he pulls her into a hug.

After a moment, Lyn’s face falls.

Lyn: Please Joshuan. Promise me that you will come back.

Joshuan sighs, and lets her go.

After a moment, he reaches into his sleeve, pulling out his emergency beacon.

Joshuan: Lyn… when I became a Skywalker, other than the people I chose to love and am charged to protect, I made the choice to give up all worldly possessions. Other than my Lightsabers, this is the most important thing I own.

He goes silent for a moment, as he reaches forward, taking Lyn’s hand, and holding it.

He places the beacon in her palm, and closes her fingers around it, holding her hand with both of his.

Joshuan: Take it, and remember my promise… I’ll always be with you.

Lyn stays silent for a long moment before she nods.

Lyn: I love you.

Joshuan smiles, and reaches down, kissing her again. When he pulls away, he cups her head with his hands.

Joshuan: I love you too. Never forget that.

Lyn smiles, and Joshuan turns, heading back towards the ship.

The camera cuts to Mara and Han, near the ship, watching as Joshuan begins to make his way back to them.

Mara: Called it. You owe me twenty credits.

Han laughs.

Han: I’ll accept defeat this time. But I’ll have to pay you another time…

Mara playfully glares at him.

Mara: You don’t have any money, do you?

Han smirks.

Han: You wouldn’t be willing to give me a loan, would you?

Mara raises an eyebrow.

Mara: You want me to give you a loan so you can pay me back?

Han: Yep, pretty much.

Mara chuckles.

Mara: Good luck Han.

Han smiles.

Han: You too. You’ve got this. I’ll see you when it’s over with.

Mara nods, and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, before turning and boarding The Resistance shuttle.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Mara steps into the cockpit, and after a moment, Joshuan steps in as well.

Mara smirks at him.

Mara (Teasing): So, have you got a name?

Joshuan glances at her with an amused expression.

Joshuan (Amused): Don’t know what you’re talking about.

Mara (Teasing): Come on Joshuan. You weren’t exactly subtle.

Joshuan chuckles, and sits in the pilot seat, as he begins powering the ship on.

Outside the window, Lyn and Han stand together.

Joshuan waves at them quickly, and they wave back.

He turns in his seat.

Joshuan: We all strapped in back there?

Natjack (Off-Screen): We’re good!

Joshuan turns back to the controls and begins to pilot the ship out of the hangar bay, and down towards the planet below.

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

The camera cuts to outside The Olympus, as The Resistance shuttle begins to fly towards the planet.

In the background, four small ships appear from hyperspace.

INT – RESISTANCE SHUTTLE – COCKPIT – NIGHT

Mara: Joshuan? They’ve come.

Joshuan glances out the window, seeing the four ships flying behind them down towards the planet.

Joshuan: The Skywalkers.

He smiles to himself.

Joshuan: Let’s do this.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCE WAY – NIGHT

The camera cuts to The Jedi Temple entranceway.

Joshuan, Mara, Natjack, and the three Skywalker younglings Zatee, Arilnala, and Olisha stand waiting.

After a few moments, the first of the Skywalkers appears, Alettan Darual and Temiri Blagg.

Zatee: Mum! Dad!

Zatee runs forward in excitement, as Alettan laughs, leaning down and opening her arms. Zatee runs into them, hugging his mother with excitement.

Temiri kneels beside him, as the family talks just out of ear-shot.

Next up the steps are Konsoz and Tubru, who approach the remaining group.

Nightsister Konsoz: Wolensum. You’re still alive?

Joshuan smirks.

Joshuan: I am. It’s good to see you Konsoz, Tubru. Thank you for coming.

Tubru shrugs.

Tubru: We nearly didn’t. We told Rey all those years ago we weren’t interested in a fight against The Sith but… they’ve made it personal now.

Tubru glances at Mara Jade.

Tubru: Your Solo’s girl, am I right? It’s been some time kid. Last time I saw you, you were tiny.

Mara nods.

Mara: It has. I’m a master now Tubru.

Tubru smirks.

Tubru: Excellent. Oh, by the way, my condolences about Rey. I’ll make sure to kick The Sith’s ar-

Konsoz lightly hits his chest, cutting him off.

Konsoz: Tubru. Children.

Tubru glances from Konsoz to Arilnala and Olisha, who are hiding behind Natjack fearfully.

Tubru smiles, which seems to scare them even more given his frightening appearance.

Tubru: Ah, right. Don’t worry little ones. I don’t bite… much.

The kids back away again, and Konsoz sighs.

Konsoz (Annoyed): Stop it.

Alettan Darual (Off-Screen): Mara Jade?

Mara turns to where Alettan, Temiri, and Zatee have approached.

Alettan: Zatee told us that you saved his life on Ahch-To. Thank you, for saving my son.

Mara smiles.

Mara: It wasn’t just me. Rose, Natjack, and Leia helped too.

Temiri Blagg smiles.

Temiri: Then we must thank them as well.

Konsoz looks around.

Konsoz: And where is young Rose? It’s been too long since I saw my old apprentice.

Mara sighs.

Mara: It’s a bit of a long story, but she’s gone to find her dad.

Konsoz looks a little disappointed, but nods.

They turn when they hear a soft cough.

Zois Zsagong, Apabparor, and Sor’edaet approach them.

Zois: You’ve summoned us here Joshuan. Give us the situation.

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: As you wish Zois. Apabparor, Sor’edaet. Thank you for coming. Mara?

Joshuan turns to Mara.

Joshuan: Do me a favour, and take the kids deeper into the temple, hide them away. I want you to ensure that only you know where they are, in case something goes wrong. I’ll fill everyone in on what’s happened.  

Mara nods and takes both Olisha’s and Arilnala hands.

Zatee gives one last quick hug to his parents, then runs after them.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – LIBRARY RUINS – NIGHT

The camera cuts to the ruins of The Jedi Temple library. What once housed the grandest source of information and knowledge has long since fallen into disarray.

Whatever books were not seized or destroyed by The Empire have long been stolen by scavengers and thieves, leaving the shelves empty, and toppled over.

Bits of paper and rubble cover the floors.

Mara Jade steps inside, and ushers the three kids to where the rubble has created a bit of a hiding place.

The kids enter, then turn around to her with frightened eyes.

Olisha (Fearfully): Are you leaving us here?

Mara sighs, and kneels in front of them.

Mara: I have to, but I promise, I will come back for you.

Arilnala shakes her head.

Arilnala: Leia made promises too.

Mara pauses, looking conflicted.

Mara (Carefully): I’m going to make sure I keep this one. But I need you all to promise me something as well.

The kids nod.

Mara: No matter what you hear, you do not leave this place, ok. Not until either I or one of the other Skywalkers comes for you. Do you understand? Promise me.

The kids nod.

Zatee: We promise Mara. We will stay here.

Mara smiles warmly at them.

Mara: Good. I’ll be back soon… May The Force be with you.

The Kids (Together): And with you.

Mara stands up and begins to make her way back to the entrance, leaving the children behind in safety.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCE WAY – NIGHT

Mara steps back into the entranceway, where the group of Skywalkers waits.

Joshuan looks up at her.

Joshuan: They safe?

Mara: They are.

Joshuan nods.

Joshuan: Guard that information carefully.

Mara nods, as they turn to the entranceway, looking out into the vast city.

A few moments pass in silence as they look at the city lights in the darkness.

Natjack: What do we do now?

Joshuan stays silent for a long moment.

Joshuan: We wait. We don’t know when the attack will arrive, but it is coming.

He steps forward, and turns, looking at all of his fellow Skywalkers.

Joshuan: Rey brought us together. Let’s finish this for her. Let’s save Leia, for her.

Chapter Text

EXT – TAKODANA – SHIP LANDING AREAS – DAWN

The camera cuts to Takodana as Finn, still using crutches, Rose, BB-8, and Chewbacca exit The Resistance shuttle.

The sky is dark, but the first rays of light from the dawn are beginning to peak over the horizon.

Poe approaches them from the path, with a tired expression. BB-8 rolls forward, chirping sadly, and bumping his owner's leg.

Poe smiles sadly at his droid and pats his head. He looks up at the small group.

Poe (Quietly): Hey guys.

He steps closer to Finn, looking down at his bandaged leg.

Poe: Are you ok?

Finn shakes his head.

Finn: No. Are you?

Poe shakes his head.

Poe: I don’t think any of us are.

Rose steps closer to Poe.

Rose: Where’s my dad?

Poe glances at her.

Poe: In the castle. Come on, we’ve been going at it for a few hours now.

Poe begins to lead the three towards Maz’s castle.

Poe: Also… I’ve gotta tell you all something, about Leia.

Rose, Finn, and Chewbacca share worried looks.

Finn: Ok, what?

Poe sighs as he keeps walking.

Poe: I don’t know how… but Snoke has somehow managed to transfer himself into Leia’s body, taking control of her mind.

Rose looks extremely fearful at the mention of Snoke.

Rose (Whispering): Snoke?

No one seems to notice the extra layer of fear in her voice.

Chewbacca growls a question, and Poe sighs.

Poe: I don’t know, Chewie. I don’t know if we can save her.

Finn glances at Rose in concern.

Finn: Don’t worry, Rose. We’ll do our best.

Rose remains silent, her expression fearful as they approach the entrance to Maz’s castle.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – BAR – DAWN

The camera cuts to the bar in Maz’s castle.

One of the larger tables has been dragged over, and it is covered in maps and holograms of planets.

Ben, Maz, and Jaina stand around the table, and all look up as Poe, Chewbacca, Finn, BB-8, and Rose enter the room.

Ben looks at his daughter as she approaches the bar table.

Ben (Quietly): Rose… I’m sorry.

Rose nods.

Rose: I know dad. It’s ok.

Ben nods in thanks.

Finn immediately sees Jaina, and his eyes narrow.

Finn (Venomously): You.

Jaina raises an eyebrow.

Jaina: FN-2187. How… nice to see you again.

Finn ignores the use of his code, using his crutch to walk forward, as he holds out his hand.

Finn: Give it to me.

Jaina (Confused): Give what to you?

Finn (Angrily): The medallion! It belonged to Rose.

Rose looks confused.

Rose (Confused): It’s not mine.

Finn shakes his head.

Finn: The Rose you’re named after. Give it to me. You don’t deserve it.

Jaina tilts her head, considering something.

Jaina: No.

Finn blinks in surprise.

Finn: Why.

Jaina shrugs.

Jaina: I stole it fair and square. I’ve looked after it for twenty years. It’s mine.

Finn’s face turns to rage, as he reaches for his belt, grabbing his lightsaber, and activating it.

Maz looks up in anger.

Maz (Angrily): I only just finished repairing this place! You are not breaking it again!

Jaina smirks, ignoring her, and stepping closer to Finn. She reaches a hand into her belt, resting it on the lightsaber she stole from Rey on Exegol all those years ago.

Jaina (Amused): You sure you want to do this? I’m perfectly willing to beat up a cripple.

Finn (Angrily): Give… it… back.

Jaina rolls her eyes and groans in annoyance.

Jaina (Whining): You’re so boring. I told you, no.

Ben (Warning): Jaina.

She turns to Ben, her expression feigning innocence as she batters her eyelids.

Jaina (Innocently): Yes?

Ben: Give it back.

Jaina smirks.

Jaina (Amused): Hmmm… no.

Ben looks surprised, and goes to speak, but is silenced when Jaina lifts a hand.

Jaina: You see Ben, you’re not my leader anymore. I don’t follow your orders. Get used to it. In fact, let's get a few things straight!

She turns to the entire group.

Jaina: I have two priorities. Keeping my crew safe, and stabbing my blade into Snoke’s heart. I don’t care about anything else. That second priority is the ONLY reason I am helping you. I owe none of you anything. Remember that.

Rose narrows her eyes.

Rose: Snoke has stolen my sister's body. No one is going to be killing her.

Jaina turns to her.

Jaina (Confused): Sorry, who let the kid in here? Who even are you?

Rage flashes across Rose’s face.

Rose: I’m not a kid. I’m Rose Solo.

Jaina pauses, then chuckles.

Jaina: Ah, you’re the offspring of him. Must get your looks from your mother. Anyway, as I was saying…

She goes silent for a moment.

Jaina (Softly): I understand this is difficult for you. I know the pain of losing family, blood or not. But I am not going to risk the safety of the entire Galaxy for the sake of one girl.

Ben (Muttering): That one girl is my daughter.

Jaina turns to him, staying silent for a few long moments.

Jaina: Ok… I’ll give you ONE chance to save her… but if you can’t, I WILL deal the final blow. Snoke is a parasite that cannot continue to exist. If he does, the entire Galaxy could be at stake.

Poe steps forward.

Poe: We don’t have time for this debate. The Sith Empire knows where we are. They’ll be coming any moment, and we don’t even know what Snoke’s plan is!

Everyone remains silent for a long moment. Maz gazes around at them all with her old eyes. After a moment, she nods.

Maz: Then begin with what we do know. Yes, The Sith Empire is coming for you, yes, they know where you are. But THEY don’t know that you know that. That gives YOU the advantage. Survive this battle, survive until tomorrow, and you can make the next step.

Maz goes silent for a moment, as everyone looks at her, taking in her words.

Maz: Either way, that next step leads to finding The Conduits. Do you have any idea where they may be?

Chewbacca gives a soft growl, and Finn nods in agreement.

Finn: Chewie’s right. One of the leaders of Snoke’s forces is a Mandalorian. I think we need to start there.

Poe nods in agreement.

Poe: Mandalore. That’s a possibility. That leaves two crystals unaccounted for. Ben, Jaina, you both knew him best, do you have any ideas?

Ben and Jaina stay very quiet. They both seem to be thinking the same thing.

Ben (Quietly): I think I know where one might be…

He glances at Jaina.

Ben (Fearfully): A little trip down memory lane…

Jaina returns his fearful gaze.

Jaina (Uneasy): Are you sure?

Poe looks between them both.

Poe: Let’s just assume for a moment that everyone else in the room has no idea what you’re talking about… what are you talking about?

Ben turns back to the group.

Ben: Snoke called it his Garden. It was an artificial planet built inside of a Dark Side Nexus. It was the place that we met Snoke, after what happened at Luke’s temple.

Jaina nods.

Jaina: It’s also where we truly experienced the horrors that were his “training”. If there is going to be a place for one, it’s there.

Poe nods.

Poe: Great. That only leaves one to find. Any ideas?

No one speaks up.

Maz: Then perhaps you should start with what you know. Go to Mandalore, and begin your search from there.

Everyone stays silent, nodding. After a moment, Jaina smirks.

Jaina: Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m not about to attack a planet without the proper preparations. I’ll help you defend Takodana, but then, I’m going home to prepare. Besides, I need to let my caretaker know what’s going on.

Finn looks confused.

Finn: Caretaker?

Jaina smiles in an almost fond way, thinking about this mysterious caretaker.  

Jaina: Yes, Jannah. Or you might know her as TZ-1719.

Finn frowns.

Finn: I don’t know every single Stormtrooper across The Galaxy.

Jaina shrugs.

Jaina: Huh. I thought you all knew each other. Whatever, I’m sure you’ll get along.

She gives a knowing smirk.

Jaina (Knowingly): You’ve got a lot in common.

She turns back to the group.

Jaina: I’ll be leaving for Kef Bir soon. If you’ve got nothing better to do, you’re welcome to come with. Probably better that you do, so we can make proper preparations and plans for Mandalore.

Maz nods.

Maz: A good plan. I can only wish you luck.

Poe gives an odd look.

Poe: You’re not going to help us?

Maz shakes her head.

Maz: My old bones aren’t what they use to be kiddo. I’ve fought my battles. I’ll defend my home, but my fight’s over now. I’ll call in some favours from the pirates who like to use my bar to support you for this fight, however.

Poe: Thank you for helping us anyway.

Maz: It was my pleasure. May The Force be with you all.

The camera fades to black.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – LYN’S QUARTERS – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to Lyn’s quarters on The Olympus, where she sits at a table with her hand on her stomach, and her eyes closed.

A soft knocking is heard, and she turns to the door.

Lyn: Come in.

The door opens, as Han enters.

Lyn: Han? Are you alright?

Han smirks.

Han (Teasing): I’m in peak physical condition.

Lyn stays silent for a moment.

Lyn (Comforting): You’ve lost a lot, Han. If you need someone to talk to-

Han (Cutting Her Off): It’s fine. I’d really much rather not think about it until after the battle. Thanks anyway, Aunt Lyn.

Lyn smiles sadly.

Lyn: Of course.

Both turn when they hear another knock.

Lieutenant Gigs stands at the door.

Gigs (Concerned): General. It’s time.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the bridge of The Olympus as Lyn and Han arrive.

Lyn and Han make their way to the command table.

Everyone is silent. The air is tense.

After a few moments, a light begins to beep on Connix’s command chair.

Connix: General.

Connix turns back to Lyn.

Connix: They’re here.

Lyn nods and turns to the command table.

Lyn: Scramble our fighters! Protect the city!

BOOM!

They turn to look out the window as in the distance, The Calamity appears.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Three Star Destroyers appear. Then another four. Then another five. Then ten more.

Connix’s eyes widen in surprise.

Connix (Shocked): We’re completely outnumbered.

INT – THE CALAMITY – BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

Allegiant General Pryde stares out the window at The Olympus. He smirks.

Pryde: Admiral Griss. Prepare your forces. No quarter. No bargaining. No mercy.

He turns to face Admiral Griss beside him.

Pryde: Kill them all.

Admiral Griss nods.

Griss: As you wish, Sir.

Griss and Pryde both turn around, and Griss begins to walk towards the exit of the room, while Pryde looks to his crew.

Pryde: Let’s finish this meddlesome Resistance once and for all.

Pryde turns back to the window.

Pryde: Begin the attack!

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

The camera cuts to outside The Calamity, as Tie Daggers and Mandalorian Gauntlets swarm from the hangers of The Star Destroyers.

The camera cuts to The Olympus, as what remains of The Resistance fleet, X-Wings, Y-Wings, and A-Wings fly from the hangers without fear, facing down the enemy.

Several ships from The Sith Empire, including a large black one, begin to fly towards the planet of Coruscant.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

Lyn presses a button on her command table.

Lyn: Orange Squadron! Do not let them reach planetfall!

INT – ORANGE SQUADRON LEADER’S X-WING – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the X-Wing of Orange Squadron leader.

Orange Leader: Understood General! Making an attack run now!

The camera stays inside the cockpit, as they fly at the fleet of ships including the large black one headed for Coruscant.

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

The camera follows behind Orange Squadron as they begin to fire on the ships, causing them to explode. Only the large black one remains.

INT – ORANGE SQUADRON LEADER’S X-WING – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to Orange Leader’s cockpit.

Orange Leader: Alright boys, one more to-

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

BOOM!

Orange Squadron Leader’s X-Wing suddenly explodes, as laser fire begins to attack the remainders of Orange Squadron from an unseen ship.

Two more of the squadron explode from the unseen laser fire, and finally The Phantom Shard de-cloaks, giving chase to the last X-Wing, before shooting it down as well.

The Large Black Ship continues to Coruscant, entering the Atmosphere.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

Lyn watches with wide eyes as the entirety of Orange Squadron is crossed out with a large red X on her screen.

Han growls and turns to the door.

Han: I’m going to help! R2!

Lyn nods as Han runs from the bridge, R2 rolling as fast as he can behind him.

C3-PO turns to watch them go.

C3-PO (Calling): R2! Good luck old friend!

Doctor Lillali and Daralex watch him go from the bridge with concerned expressions, before they turn back to the windows, watching the battle.

Chapter Text

EXT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

The large black ship that made it through The Resistance blockade lands on the bridge leading to The Jedi Temple.

The ramp lowers, and Snoke, wearing her hood over her head, exits the ship, followed closely by Darth Zyph, and the eight Elite Praetorian Guards.

Snoke turns to her guards.

Snoke: Fan out. Ensure nothing leaves the temple.

The guards separate into two groups of four and begin to walk away as Snoke turns back towards The Jedi Temple.

They begin to walk across the bridge towards The Jedi Temple.

EXT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – STATUES – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the shoulder of one of the large stone statues, as we see Darth Craggonus standing on it, watching Snoke and Zyph approach.

After a moment, he jumps, landing on the ground in front of Snoke and Zyph, who pause.

Craggonus narrows his eye at Snoke in suspicion.

Craggonus (Confused): Lord Sycophant?

Snoke: It is I, Craggonus.

Craggonus chuckles.

Craggonus: I must say you are looking very good.

Craggonus holds his arm out towards The Jedi Temple.

Craggonus: Shall we?

Snoke steps past him and continues towards the stairs.

Craggonus smirks at Darth Zyph, who pushes past him in annoyance.

Craggonus chuckles and follows his master.

Craggonus (Chanting): Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory…

INT – CORUSCANT – POWER PLANT – HALLWAY – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to a hallway inside of a building.

Vhina strolls through the hallway, her blaster rifle with the thermal detonator launcher slung over her back. The Sith Empire emblem is painted onto her shoulder pauldrons.

Ahead she can see two guards standing by a door.

Vhina (Amused): Hello boys.

The guards hold their blasters up fearfully.

Vhina: Mind stepping aside?

The guards quickly fire and Vhina activates the Darksaber, deflecting both shots and spinning to the side, pulling out her blaster pistol and quickly shooting both men.

They fall to the ground dead, as Vhina steps over their bodies, deactivating the Darksaber.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCE – AFTERNOON

Snoke, Zyph, and Craggonus step into the entranceway of The Jedi Temple.

The camera pans, to show Joshuan kneeling in the middle of the massive path, Mara Jade and Natjack at his side.

Joshuan remains still, his eyes closed, meditating.

Craggonus laughs.

Craggonus: Is this it?!

Joshuan smirks, his eyes still shut.

Joshuan: Oh, on the contrary…

As the other Skywalkers appear from behind pillars, activating their Lightsabers.

Apabparor uses a green lightsaber, Sor’edaet uses a white one, Alettan Darual uses two light blue tonfa’s, Temiri Blagg uses a blue staff, Tubru uses a double-bladed orange, and Zois uses a blue single blade. Konsoz does not activate her lightsaber, but holds up her hands, green flames igniting over them.

Joshuan opens his eyes, and rises, Mara and Natjack standing beside him.

Joshuan: Skywalkers are never alone. The Force is with us…

Beside Joshuan, Mara activates her purple blade, while Natjack activates both ends of his white.

Joshuan (Continued): And we are one with The Force.

INT – CORUSCANT – POWER PLANT – AFTERNOON

The doors open, and Vhina steps inside the main control room of the power plant.

She quickly pulls out her assault rifle from her back, aims, and fires several shots around the room, killing the few workers in the room. Not a single shot misses.

She chuckles, and lowers her blaster, moving to the window to see the energy reactor down below her.

She hears a beeping sound and lifts her gauntlet.

A hologram appears on it, of a Mandalorian trooper transport with a countdown.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to The Jedi Temple, overlooking Snoke’s shoulder at Joshuan’s face.

No one has moved. Joshuan narrows his eyes at Snoke, then tilts his head up slightly, his eyes widening in surprise.

The camera cuts to the front of Snoke, her face still hidden by the hood, as we see something in the distance fast approaching the temple behind her.

EXT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – BRIDGE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to outside, as the Mandalorian troop transport speeds past the bridge to The Jedi Temple.

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCE – AFTERNOON

The ship speeds forward, before smashing into the entrance of The Jedi Temple, ripping columns from their foundations as the ship comes to a screeching halt just behind Snoke, Craggonus, and Zyph.

The wind from the ship lightly blows their capes.

The camera cuts to Snoke’s front again, as she finally lifts her head, allowing her Sith Yellow eyes to shine brightly under the dark hood.

She smirks, as we hear a hissing sound.

The camera cuts to the ship as the door opens, and the ramp lowers. The interior is completely hidden in shadow, when suddenly, a red lightsaber blade appears, illuminating Darth Chror in the darkness.

A moment passes, and suddenly several more blades appear, showing the Sith Clones. There are over forty crowded in the ship.

The Skywalkers are outnumbered.

The camera cuts back to Joshuan as he steps backward, his hands reaching out like he is about to hug someone. His lightsaber hilts fly from their clips on his back to his hands.

Snoke smiles widely, and activates her black blade, raising it, and pointing it at Joshuan.

With a roar, Darth Chror charges forward, activating his second blade and using his inquisitor’s lightsaber to hover into the air.

The Sith Clones charge from the ship, rushing past Snoke with their blades raised, Craggonus leading them as he cackles madly while Darth Zyph shoots into the air.

Darth Chror deactivates one blade, falling through the air and aiming for Joshuan’s head.

Joshuan activates both of his Lightsabers, bringing them up in an X to block the attack.

INT – CORUSCANT – POWER PLANT – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to Vhina as she smashes the window to the reactor.

She loads a thermal detonator into its launcher, aims through the window, and fires.

It falls to the reactor below.

Windows behind her and around her have been smashed as well, showing that she has shot the bombs into different parts of the reactor.

She pulls out the detonator and begins to walk from the room.

She presses the button.

INT – CORUSCANT – POWER PLANT – REACTOR – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to where one of the detonators has landed, as it begins to beep. Others around them also being to beep, a fast-blinking red light.

INT – CORUSCANT – POWER PLANT – HALLWAYS – AFTERNOON

Vhina steps through the doors to the reactor room, and as they slide shut behind her, we hear the sound of the beeping get faster…

EXT – CORUSCANT – CITY– EVENING

The camera cuts to outside the power plant.

A moment passes.

BOOOOM!

The building explodes into a mess of fire and smoke. The buildings around it lose electricity, as suddenly the once bright city begins to become dark.

People begin to scream.

EXT – CORUSCANT – CITY STREETS – EVENING

The camera cuts to the city streets, following behind three people wearing cloaks. The night is beginning to set, turning the skies black.

People around them scream as the lights go out.

The people reach up, taking off their hoods, and the camera pans to reveal three Mandalorians, Commander Vha Leng, now with The Sith Empire symbol adorning the entirety of her helmet’s forehead, Tix Garo, The Sniper, and Rinn Barret, The Armoury.

Vha Leng, Rinn Barret and Tix Garo aim their blasters and begin to fire into the crowds of Coruscant, slaughtering any they see.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

The camera cuts to The Olympus, as through the window, we start to see the normally bright city of Coruscant begin to go completely dark.

Lyn steps to the window, her mouth open in horror.

In the distance, she can see something fast approaching.

Her eyes widen, as she spins to her crew.

Lyn: Prepare for boarding!

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

The camera cuts to outside as First Order troop transports fly towards The Olympus.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Han and R2 run down a hallway on The Olympus and turn at a door, hitting the button to open it to the hanger bay.

Han (Exclaiming): Oh Kriff!

INT – THE OLYMPUS – HANGER BAY – EVENING

The First Order troop transports crash into the hanger bay, flattening people and other ships as they do.

The ship shakes as more and more pile in, the ramps lower, and First Order Stormtroopers storm out of the ramps.

A few Resistance Soldiers try to pick themselves up, but the Stormtroopers aim their blasters, firing and killing them.

One of the ramps to the shuttles lowers, and Admiral Griss steps out, escorted by six black and red First Order Elite Stormtroopers.

Admiral Griss: Capture the bridge and destroy the escape pods!

Elite Commander: Yes Sir!

The Stormtroopers begin to make their way towards the doors.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Han quickly turns, running from the door, R2 rolling behind him.

He grabs his communicator.

Han (Screaming): LYN! THEY’RE ON THE SHIP! THEY’VE DESTROYED THE HANGER BAYS!

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

The camera cuts back to the command table.

Han (Over-Comm): They’re going to destroy the escape pods!

Lyn stays silent, her eyes wide in fear.

Lyn (In Shock): There’s too many of them.

Connix turns to Lyn and takes her hand.

Connix: General. You need to leave, now!

Lyn shakes her head, still in shock, not facing Connix.

Connix: Lyn! Lyn! Listen to me.

Lyn finally faces her.

Connix smiles sadly.

Connix: Lyn. You’re the daughter I never got to have. I’m not going to allow you or your child to die today.

Lyn weakly shakes her head.

Lyn (Weakly): I don’t. I can’t... we can still win this.

Connix: No Lyn! They’ve taken most of the ship. If you don’t leave now, they will kill you, and they will kill your child. Do you want that?!

Lyn goes silent, tears in her eyes. She turns to C3-PO.

Lyn: 3PO! What are the odds of holding the ship?

C3-PO lowers his head.

C3-PO (Sadly): They’re not good General.

Lyn turns back to Connix, shaking her head in disbelief.

Connix gives a comforting smile, like a mother to her daughter when she’s had a bad day at school.

Connix (Comforting): Lyn, listen. The Resistance is not a ship. It’s not a planet. We’re a people. And we fight, so that the generations of tomorrow don’t have to.  But we can’t do that if we’re all dead. You MUST lead us to tomorrow.

Lyn stays silent for a long moment, then finally turns to the command table.

She presses a button, activating the comm.

Lyn: All personal! Abandon ship or abandon hope! This is a direct order! Head to Coruscant and go into hiding! This is a fight we must win another day!

Lyn turns back to Connix, who gives a proud smile.

Lyn: What are you going to do?

Connix: The captain goes down with her ship.

Lyn (Confused): What does that mean?

Connix smirks.

Connix: Something dramatic I hope. Now go, and may The Force be with you… always.

Lyn stays still for a moment, as tears fill her eyes. After a moment, she turns and begins to run from the bridge.

Daralex and Lillali follow behind her, as well as the rest of the bridge officers.

Lieutenant Gigs pauses at the doors and turns back to Connix.

They look at each other for a moment, before Gigs salutes Connix, then turns and runs after the fleeing officers.

Connix watches them go with a smile.

Connix (Quietly): Godspeed, Rebels.

She turns to the command deck and pulls out her blaster as she begins to press buttons.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – ESCAPE PODS – EVENING

Han and R2 rush into the escape pod holding bay.

Han: R2! Unlock the escape pods! Hurry!

R2 gives a confirming beep, and makes his way to the doors, inserting his unlocking device and spinning it around, unlocking one of the doors.

Han turns to the wall and aims his mother’s blaster.

He fires at the bolts, and the wall panel becomes loose.

He rips it off the wall and places it in front of the door leading to the halls. He kneels behind it, and aims his blaster, breathing out deeply.

EXT – SPACE – TAKODANA

The camera cuts to open space, as suddenly, A Star Destroyer appears, and less than a moment later begins to fire eleven coffin shaped pods from Episode 10 downwards, the camera panning and following the pods down towards Takodana.

Mandalorian Trooper Transports begin to fly down with the pods.

EXT – TAKODANA – FOREST – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the forest floor as Rose Solo looks up, seeing the pods and ships flying down through the sky. She lifts a communicator to her mouth.

Rose: They’re here.

EXT – TAKODANA – DESTROYED CLEARING – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to the same clearing that Ben Solo had destroyed in his grief earlier, as the pods hit the ground.

After a few moments, they hiss as they begin to open, ten regular Sith Clones stepping out.

The last pod hisses open, and Darth Reph, a new Sith we have not seen before steps out.

Darth Reph wears the same helmet as his brothers, but the rest of his body is only lightly armoured, or not wearing armour at all. He has silver Beskar armour on his chest, but his stomach is clothed with black robes, leading to a silver and red belt that extends to a red skirt piece. Only his knees and lower legs are armoured, his feet bare revealing twisted light grey skin and sharp nails. His arms are bare as well, except for Beskar armour on his forearms, with two Lightsabers built onto them, giving the appearance of some kind of hidden blade.

Reph turns to his troops as The Mandalorian shuttles land behind them. The ramps hiss as they lower, revealing Mandalorians and Sithtroopers, who begin to descend the ramps.

Reph: We have our orders! Spread out and surround the castle. Find them!

Reph turns around and begins to lead the troops into the forest.

EXT – TAKODANA – CLIFF FACE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts to a small cliff face, overlooking where the Sith Empire is walking through.

Zorii Bliss, Poe Dameron, Albrekh, Jaina, and a small group of pirates and thieves, hired by Maz Kanata, are standing behind trees, loading their weapons.

Jaina inputs a cartridge into an arm cannon, the same that Cardo Ren used to wear, then glances behind her down at the small army. She smirks, then nods to Albrekh, who gives an evil smirk, holding up a detonator.

Albrekh presses the button.

Boom!

The ground around The Sith Empire explodes, knocking them off their feet.

Jaina spins around from her tree, aiming her arm cannon and firing, obliterating a group of them.

With a roar, she leaps into the fray, activating her blue lightsaber as she falls, impaling a stunned Sith Clone through the back.

Zorii, Albrekh, and Poe leap down after her, firing at the confused Mandalorians and Sithtroopers, some of the pirates joining them and others remaining on the cliff face, providing cover fire.

Pirate: FOR THE PIRATE QUEEN!

The other pirates give their own war cries as they fire on The Sith Empire.

The Sith Empire is scattered, some attempt to retreat, while some begin to try and fire back. The Sith clones activate their lightsaber’s, deflecting blaster shots.

Jaina laughs wickedly, running towards two of the disorientated clones and hitting them both with her signature black Force Lightning, seeming to find some delight in their screams as she cuts them both down, before spinning to the side and throwing her lightsaber at a Mandalorian.

The lightsaber hits the Mandalorian’s leg, and he screams as it is cut off, Jaina’s lightsaber returning to her.

The Mandalorian begins to beg as Jaina approaches.

Mandalorian: No! No! Please!

Jaina laughs, stabbing forward and impaling the man in the chest, then slicing upwards straight through his head.

Poe sees Jaina do this, and looks absolutely horrified. Jaina turns to him, her eyes mad, as she raises her arm cannon and fires at more of the troops.

Poe turns away from her, using his own rifle to fire on the enemies, but still clearly troubled.

Suddenly one of the Pirates screams as he is flung through the air, past Zorii, Poe, and Jaina, before getting sliced in half.

Darth Reph stands there, his two Lightsabers on his arms activated.

Jaina laughs and begins to approach, but two clones’ step in front of Reph, holding their lightsaber’s ready.

Darth Reph turns and runs into the forest away from the battle.

Jaina presses her commlink.

Jaina: Ben! Rose! Their leader is headed to the castle! We’ll deal with the others!

Jaina lowers her arm and then rushes towards the two Sith clones, spinning her blade.

EXT – TAKODANA – FOREST FLOOR – AFTERNOON

Rose lifts her communicator.

Rose: Copy that, I’m going after him!

Rose looks upwards and sees Darth Reph leap up into a tree, not noticing her, as he begins to run along the thick branches towards the castle, like some kind of ninja.

Rose begins to give chase on the forest ground, activating her orange lightsaber as she does.

EXT – TAKODANA – TREE TOPS – AFTERNOON

Reph continues to jump along each tree branch, Rose following just behind him on the ground, with the massive castle lake to the side of them.

Rose leaps over a boulder and throws her lightsaber at the branch as Reph lands on it.

It slices through, and Reph falls forward, grabbing a hold of a vine, using it to swing around the tree back towards Rose.

Lightning flies from his free hand, hitting Rose in the chest and knocking her backwards.

EXT – TAKODANA – LAKE SHORE – AFTERNOON

Rose lands on her back, and quickly rolls over as Reph lands, impaling the ground with his lightsaber where her head used to be. She quickly punches out with The Force, and Reph is sent flying backwards, hitting the trunk of a tree, then landing on his knees.

He chuckles as Rose stands back up, her lightsaber returning to her.

Darth Reph (Amused): Rose Solo…

Rose steadies her guard, her lightsaber held in reverse.

Rose: You know me?

Reph laughs as he stands, activating the second lightsaber on his other arm.

Reph (Taunting): I do young one. Tell me, Rose, why did you abandon your own sister to die? You didn’t bother to save her from us, and sadly, you could have.

Rage crosses Rose as she screams, running forward and attacking Reph, who dodges, using his acrobatic skills in The Force and the terrain to stay out of harm's way, cackling evilly as he does so.

Rose, in her rage accidentally gets her foot stuck, and stumbles. Reph spins out of her way, then punches out with The Force, sending her flying into the massive lake nearby and out of sight.

He laughs, then turns, seeing the castle just a little further away, and begins to walk towards it.

Chapter Text

INT – THE OLYMPUS – ESCAPE PODS – EVENING

Han: R2! Where we at with those escape pods?!

R2 whines as he moves to the next door. Halfway.

Han turns back as he hears footsteps. He aims his blaster.

Stormtroopers begin to filter into the hallways, and Han opens fire, killing three of them.

Stormtrooper: Taking fire!

The Stormtroopers begin to fire back, and Han ducks under his barricade, but it isn’t doing much, shots are beginning to melt through the metal.

He quickly rolls to the side behind the wall and stands up.

Stormtrooper: Careful! He’s still here somewhere!

Han stays silent as the troopers begin to approach.

He sees the barrel of one of the rifles appear in the room, and he spins put, grabbing the blaster and pushing it downwards. He quickly fires his pistol into the trooper, sending him flying backwards, then spins to avoid another shot, punching the other trooper nearby, while kicking out at the third, causing them to miss their shots.

He shoots both of them, then leans down, grabbing one of the pistols hanging off their waists.

Now, dual-wielding blasters, he rushes down the hallway, firing on Stormtroopers as soon as they appear.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

The camera cuts to the bridge of The Olympus, where Connix is still pressing buttons.

She hears the door slide open, and she raises her arm, firing her blaster without even looking and killing the Stormtrooper who had entered.

She quickly ducks behind the command table, as shots begin to be fired into the room.

She reaches up, and types in the last few digits of the sequence.

A bright red button on the screen appears.

INITIATE SELF-DESTRUCT?

Connix smirks then aims her blaster at the door again as the blaster fire stops.

Several cylinders are thrown into the room, exploding into smoke, covering the entrance.

Connix narrows her eyes in concentration as she lifts a part of her jacket, covering her mouth and nose.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – HALLWAYS – EVENING

Lyn leads what remains of The Resistance down a hallway.

She comes to a door and presses a button. The door opens, and Han spins around, aiming his two blasters at them.

Lyn: Han!

Han pauses, then lowers his blasters, sighing in relief.

Lyn steps out and turns to see the hallway littered with Stormtrooper bodies.

Han: Into the escape pods! Quickly!

The Resistance begins to rush past Lyn and Han towards the escape pods, now unlocked by R2.

Daralex pauses at Han.

Daralex: You’re a good shot kid.

Han smirks.

Han: Had to get something from my mother.

Daralex smiles and follows his wife towards the escape pods.

Lyn and Han glance at each other as everyone passes, then begin to make their way to the pods. The last to board.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

Two black armoured Elite Stormtroopers storm into the bridge, firing at Connix.

Connix fires back, hitting one of them and killing him.

She glances at the monitor beside her, showing the escape pods being jettisoned one by one.

Another three troopers enter the room, and Connix ducks down, blindly firing behind her.

It’s her last stand. The command table is being melted by the laser shots.

INT – ESCAPE POD – EVENING

The camera cuts to inside Han and Lyn’s escape pod. The last to leave.

We watch as it fires from The Olympus, leaving The Olympus behind, as the massive ship quickly becomes smaller and smaller.

Han reaches out and takes Lyn’s hand, who only stays silent, watching as The Olympus gets smaller.

INT – THE OLYMPUS – COMMAND BRIDGE – EVENING

Connix sees the symbol for the last escape pod to leave, and she smiles.

Suddenly she cries out as a shot hits her arm in her distraction, causing her to drop her blaster.

An elite Stormtrooper Commander walks forward, picking her up by the back of her jacket, and slamming her head into the command console.

She falls to the ground groaning in pain. The Commander who hit her gestures to her and two more Elite Stormtroopers step forward, grabbing her by the arms and hoisting her up.

Elite Commander: Room secured Sir.

Connix groans, lifting her head as Admiral Griss steps into the room from the smoke.

He smirks.

Admiral Griss: Admiral Kaydel Connix. How nice to finally meet you again.

Connix spits out blood.

Connix (Weakly): Wish I could say the same. I thought you died on Siphus Prime, Griss. You should have fallen with The First Order.

Griss smirks, and steps closer to her.

Griss: The First Order is still very much alive. Three factions make up The Sith Empire. Mandalore, The Sith Eternal, and The First Order. Together, we shall finally wipe your filth from The Galaxy.

Connix rolls her eyes.

Connix: Sure. Whatever you say, Frantis.

Griss glares at her.

Griss: It has taken me years to find the scraps leftover from our defeat. Years to recover all of The First Order loyalists.

He smirks.

Griss: I thought it fitting that they all be here to bring your ship to the ground.

Connix stays silent for a moment, a look of confusion, then realisation on her face.

Connix: Wait… you mean the entirety of the remaining First Order is on this ship?

Griss nods.

Griss: Indeed. I was told to destroy the vessel, but I have other plans. Pryde has The Calamity. Vhina has Mandalore. I’m taking your ship, what was once the final hope of The Resistance will now become the very vessel that destroys them!

Connix smirks.

Connix: Sure. You can have what’s left.

She quickly kicks the guard closest to her, causing him to grunt, and release his hold on her.

She spins around, slamming her hand on the button.

EXT – SPACE – CORUSCANT

The camera cuts to show The Olympus.

A moment passes in silence.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The Olympus explodes, killing everyone on board, and sending debris flying through space.

INT – ESCAPE POD – EVENING

The escape pod is rocked by the force of the explosion.

Lyn closes her eyes as tears fall from them.

Lyn (Whispering): Goodbye… Mum.

EXT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ENTRANCE – AFTERNOON

A group of Mandalorians is approaching the entrance way to Maz Kanata’s castle.

Behind two pillars, Chewbacca and Maz Kanata await.

Suddenly they both spin out, firing on the Mandalorians who duck for cover. Chewbacca roars, and he and Maz rush inside of the castle.

After a few moments, The Mandalorians begin to rush in after them.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ENTRANCE – AFTERNOON

Mandalorians enter inside Maz Kanata’s castle, aiming their weapons around.

The castle is dark, all the lights are out.

They carefully creep into the diner. One of the Mandalorians steps on a small device, that begins to blink red.

The Mando looks down at it.

Mandalorian: Huh?

Suddenly electricity courses through the Mandalorian, bouncing off the Beskar armour to the two Mandalorians around near him, the three of them screaming in pain.

A few others also step into the trap, the electricity shooting through their armour and killing the people inside, the corpses falling to the ground, twitching.

One of the Mandalorians backs into a pillar and freezes when it hears a soft menacing growl.

The Mandalorian turns around slowly, as Chewbacca emerges, roaring. The Mandalorian screams as Chewbacca backhands him, knocking him out. A Mandalorian fires at Chewbacca who ducks, firing his bow caster and blowing the Mando backwards.

With a battle roar, Chewbacca runs forward, tackling two Mandalorians and lifting them into the air, using them like rag dolls to hit any of the other Mandalorians that come near. The Mandalorians scream.

INT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – ROOM – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts as the Mandalorians scream in fear to a room where Finn is hiding. He looks around, worry on his face, unable to help because of his injury.

He pauses, hearing a noise. Footsteps. Dust falls from the roof, lightly covering him.

He slowly looks upwards.

JUMP SCARE!

Darth Reph leaps down from the rafters with a screech, his arm with the lightsaber active held out. Finn yelps and ducks out of the way as Reph hits the floor, but Finn stumbles, his leg giving out from underneath him, causing him to fall to the floor, his crutch scattering away.

He quickly does his best to roll over, activating his green lightsaber, but Reph leaps forward, grabbing Finn’s arm and pressing his knee into Finn’s chest, pinning him in place.

Reph digs his sharp claws into Finn’s arm, who screams in pain as his hand opens, his lightsaber deactivating and falling to the ground.

Reph: Trying to run, little cripple? The fun’s only just begun!

Finn punches Reph in the side, causing the Sith to grunt, then growl in annoyance.

Reph: I was going to have my fun with you, but if THAT’S how you’ll be!

Finn growls in pain and anger.

Finn (Angrily): Piss off!

Reph laughs, and grabs Finn by the throat, lifting him.

Reph (Taunting): Why don’t YOU!

Reph throws Finn out the window.

EXT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – COURTYARD – AFTERNOON

Finn hits the ground with a thud, and groans from the pain. He begins to try and crawl towards a bolder.

Darth Reph begins to walk through the hole in the wall, activating the lightsaber on his right arm.

Reph (Taunting): Run, run, little cripple. You won’t get far.

Finn reaches the bolder and uses it to try and stand up.

Reph laughs, and dashes forward, backhanding Finn with his left hand, causing him to fall to the ground with a cry.

Reph: Caught you.

Reph aims his right arm, preparing to stab downwards into Finns back. Everything slows down… rushed footsteps can be heard… Suddenly, a white blade swings into the frame and Darth Reph screams as his right arm is sliced off from his shoulder, before he is blasted with The Force, being sent flying backwards into a wall.

He goes to stand up, when Ben Solo tackles him, causing them both to roll down a hill away from Finn and towards the waters shore.

EXT – TAKODANA – LAKE SHORE – AFTERNOON

Ben growls standing back up as Darth Reph stumbles to his feet, activating his left arm's lightsaber.

Reph: If you think that injury is going to stop me, then you know nothing of The Dark Side.

Ben raises his blade to eye level, pointing it at Reph.

Ben (Angrily): I know enough.

With a roar, they charge one another, with Reph leaping into the air, trying to impale Ben as he falls.

Ben swings his lightsaber to the side, blocking the attack, then begins to heavily beat into Darth Reph with his lightsaber, not giving him any moment to attack back.

A little further away, Rose stumbles to her feet, soaking wet, but alive. She looks down the beach to see her father battling Reph and beating down on him.

She activates her Orange Lightsaber and moves to go help him when she sees three Mandalorians begin to approach where Finn is lying unconscious.

She looks back to her father, fear on her face, then back to Finn, back to her father, then back to Finn. She begins to run up towards the hill.

EXT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – COURTYARD – AFTERNOON

The Mandalorians are standing around the unconscious Finn, and aim their blasters.

Rose screams, drawing their attention as she leaps at them, swinging downwards and slicing straight through the barrels of their weapons.

She lands, spinning around and punching out her hands, sending the three Mandalorians flying backwards.

She glances back at Finn, then turns around as she hears more footsteps. Mandalorians and Sithtroopers begin to appear from the treeline, aiming their weapons at her.

She breathes out, focusing. The Sith Empire begin to fire at her, and she twirls her lightsaber with grace and mastery, deflecting the shots back and away from herself and Finn.

Rose (Straining): Can anyone hear me! I need reinforcements now!

Poe (Over Comm): Hold on!

Shots ring out from the forest, as Poe, Zorii, and Albrekh run out, firing on the Mandalorians and Sithtroopers, taking the fire away from Rose.

Rose sighs in relief, then glances back at Finn as he groans, trying to sit up.

She steps forward and begins to help him climb to his feet as Poe approaches, and Finn puts an arm over each of their shoulders.

They pause to look down at the beach where Ben and Reph are still fighting as Zorii and Albrekh step up beside them.

EXT – TAKODANA – LAKESHORE – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to Ben as he hits Reph again, who can only hold up his arm, defending himself. Ben roars with rage as he keeps striking Reph’s arm, again and again, and again, when suddenly, he is hit with a blast of Force energy, sending him backwards.

Two Sith Clones run from the forest onto the shore. One of them grabs Reph by his arm and pulls him to his feet.

Reph (Fearfully): We need to retreat, now!

He freezes, hearing laughter, and he turns as Jaina walks from the forest. Her coat is stained with spots of red blood.

Jaina: Going so soon? I’m sorry if I’ve bored you!

Ben and Jaina begin to circle Reph and the two Sith clones, who gaze around at both of them.

Reph (Fearfully): You aren’t supposed to do this! Your Jedi! You're supposed to be merciful!

Jaina laughs as Ben growls.

Ben (Chilling): Merciful? Were you merciful when you killed Rey?

Reph fearfully shakes his head.

Reph (Fearfully): I had nothing to do with that! Please! Let us go, and we’ll leave you in peace!

Jaina laughs even harder.

Jaina: Let you go, little cripple? Why should we, when your fear is just so delightful!

Jaina rushes forward, swinging her blade. Reph sees her coming, and ducks to the side, grabbing one of the clones and pushing him into her attack. The clone screams as he is cut down, while Ben leaps forward, attacking the other clone.

Reph turns and runs towards the forest.

Ben deflects the last Sith Clones blade, then reaches out with the Force, clenching his hand into a fist and lifting it into the air. The clone gasps for breath as it grabs at its throat.

Ben’s eyes are filled with nothing but hatred, as the creature's gasps start to soften, then go quiet as the Sith goes limp.

Ben tosses him aside like a rag doll and looks to see Reph retreating into the forest.

He glances at Jaina who smirks, then they both give chase.

EXT – TAKODANA – MAZ KANATA’S CASTLE – COURTYARD – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back up to Poe, Finn, Rose, and Zorii as they watch Ben and Jaina run after Reph. Chewbacca steps up beside them.

Zorii scoffs.

Zorii (Harshly): Didn’t take much for them to fall back into old habits.

Poe and Finn share frightened looks. Kylo Ren may not be as dead as Ben would like them to believe.

Rose glances at them.

Rose (Frightened): Do… Do we help them?

Poe stays still in shocked silence for a long moment.

Poe (Quietly): Zorii, Albrekh, cover Finn. Chewie, Rose, with me.

Zorii takes one of Finn’s arms as Poe, Chewbacca, and Rose begin to chase Ben and Jaina back into the forest.

EXT – TAKODANA – CLIFF FACE – EVENING

The camera cuts to Reph as he runs over the bodies of his fallen soldiers through the valley where Jaina had laid the original ambush.

The camera cuts to just a little behind him, as Ben runs, stabbing a fleeing Sithtrooper through the back.

Jaina is beside him, cackling madly as she fires black Force lightning at a group of fleeing Mandalorians.

Ben slices through another fleeing enemy with a scream of rage, then turns to see Reph nearing the clearing with the pods.

He begins to give chase.

EXT – TAKODANA – DESTROYED CLEARING – EVENING

Reph runs into the destroyed clearing and then stumbles into the coffin shaped pod he arrived in. He turns around as it beings to seal.

Ben Solo runs into the clearing, raising his lightsaber to cut through it. He is almost at the pod. He leaps forward… and the pod rockets into the sky, Ben’s blade missing it by just inches.

He pants heavily, looking up into the sky as the pod quickly gets further and further away.

INT – SITH ETERNAL ATTACK POD – EVENING

Inside the pod, Darth Reph breaths a sigh of relief as the sky begins to fade to black.

Darth Reph has escaped.

EXT – TAKODANA – DESTROYED CLEARING – EVENING

Ben remains still. A few Mandalorians and Sithtroopers run past him, but he doesn’t react, still looking into the sky. He hears the transports begin to power up but still doesn’t move as they begin to lift into the sky.

The Mandalorian trooper transport begins to fly into the atmosphere when suddenly, BLACK LIGHTING collides with it from off-screen. The Transport explodes.

Jaina walks into the clearing with a satisfied smirk.

Jaina (Sarcastically): Well, that was enjoyable. Almost like old times, huh Ben.

Behind her, Poe, Rose and Chewbacca run into the clearing, but then stay still, looking towards Ben, who still hasn’t moved.

Jaina notices Ben’s lack of reply and glances at him.

Jaina (Confused): Ben?

Ben doesn’t react but finally looks down at his hands.

He begins to shake, as it occurs to him just exactly what he has done. Tears fill his eyes, before he looks back to the sky, screaming in grief, rage, and guilt as he falls to his knees, unleashing force energy that sends forest debris flying around him.

Poe, Rose, and Chewbacca cover their faces, then when it settles, they give a frightened look to each other, the only noise in the forest being Ben’s quiet sobs.

The camera rests on Jaina, as she looks at Ben with an unreadable expression.

The camera cuts to overlook all of them, as the sky above begins to turn into night.

Ben had fallen, though momentarily, he had fallen to his Darkest Temptations.

Chapter Text

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCEWAY – EVENING

Joshuan blocks an attack from Darth Chror, rolling to the side and slicing through the side of two Sith clones, while Chror spins raising his other arm and catching Natjack’s downward attack on his Beskar gauntlets.

Chror laughs, and swings at Natjack who jumps back out of the way, twirling his double white blades defensively.

A little further away from them, Darth Craggonus swings his blade at Mara Jade, who blocks it, spinning away from him.

Zois Zsagong leaps through the air, swinging down at Craggonus who dances to the side, laughing madly as he beings to fight both Mara and Zois at the same time, deflecting both of their attacks with ease.

Temiri Blagg and Alettan Dural fight back-to-back, killing Sith clones left and right.

Suddenly, with a demonic screech, Darth Zyph appears from the sky, kicking Alettan in the side, sending her flying.

Temiri spins his staff around, and Zyph blocks with his own lightsaber, before jumping backwards and using his wings to lift himself into the air again, flying up into the roof and out of sight.

Temiri spins to the side, dodging a blow from another Sith clone, and swings his sabre-spear, using the hunting axe part to slice through the clone’s neck, decapitating it.

Temiri turns back as four more Sith Warriors approach him. Alettan steps up beside him, twirling her tonfa’s.

They glance at each other, nod, then charge towards the clones with a battle cry.

Konsoz spins around, her eyes glowing bright green as she chants in an unknown language.

Green spikes rip themselves from the floor, impaling three Sith Warriors.

Konsoz turns to the next group, raising her hands as green Force lightning erupts from her fingertips, while Tubru leaps over her, bringing his blade down on the head of another Sith Warrior, slicing him in half.

Snoke is duelling against both Apabparor and his apprentice Sor’edaet.

She spins, kicking Apabparor, while flinging out her other hand, Force pushing Sor’edaet backwards into a pillar, before turning back to Apabparor and sending blue force lighting at him.

Apabparor raises his green lightsaber, blocking the lightning as Snoke begins to approach.

Suddenly Apabparor spins, swinging his blade at Snoke’s neck unexpectedly.

A yellow blade activates, blocking the attack before it can harm Snoke, and Snoke spins her other lightsaber, the one she stole from Rey.

Snoke begins to fight against Apabparor, using both her own black blade and Rey’s yellow one, the two fighters striking as hard as they can with quick strokes.

Sor’edaet stumbles to her feet, and seeing her master being attacked, gives a war cry, charging towards Snoke and reactivating her white lightsaber, leaping into the air and swinging her blade upwards to strike Snoke on the downward swing.

Snoke blocks Apabparor’s attack and only has a moment to react, spinning to the side and dodging both Sor’edaet’s attack and Apabparor’s.

Sor’edaet stumbles when she hits the ground, and Snoke quickly spins, lowering herself to the ground, and activating the blue side of Rey’s lightsaber, impaling Sor’edaet on it.

The Chiss teen gasps in pain and surprise, as she drops her lightsaber. Snoke pulls her blade from her stomach, and she falls to her knees.

Apabparor watches in horror.

Apabparor (Screaming): Sor’edaet!

Snoke ducks to the side, avoiding Apabparor’s rage-filled swing, and brings her blade up, slicing through his back.

He falls to the ground, his lightsaber rolling away from him as he lies paralyzed, dying.

Snoke smirks, her eyes glowing brighter, and turns away from him.

A little further away, Tubru spins his double orange blade, fighting against Sith Clones, outnumbered, but easily holding his own.

Snoke begins to walk towards him when suddenly, Konsoz appears in front of him in an explosion of green smoke.

Konsoz smirks, her eyes glow bright green as she begins to chant, lifting into the air as green flame dances around her hands. The rubble around her begins to lift with her.

Snoke grows, twirls her black blade, and charges forward.

Konsoz beckons her hand forward, and a piece of rubble flies towards Snoke, who leaps onto it, then uses it as a launchpad to leap towards Konsoz. Snoke extends her blade but is then hit by the second piece of rubble, knocking her backwards through the air and hitting a pillar, before sliding to the ground and sitting there for a moment. 

Konsoz flies forward, hitting the ground and throwing her green flaming ball of energy at Snoke, who swings her black blade as she raises to her knee, deflecting it.

Konsoz quickly throws three more flaming balls, but Snoke deflects them all, so Konsoz fires a continuous stream of green lightning at Snoke.

Snoke raises her black blade, the lightning bouncing off it, before stepping to the side and swinging her yellow blade.

Konsoz sidesteps it, extending her arm out, her golden-handled lightsaber flies into her hand from her belt, activating its purple blade as she spins, swinging at Snoke, who re-activates her blue blade behind her back to block the attack.

Snoke quickly attempts to slice through Konsoz with her black blade, but just before the attack hits, Konsoz explodes into green mist.

Snoke swings widely into the mist, then has a brief look of confusion as Konsoz raises from the ground behind her, unnoticed, raising her arms and hitting Snoke in the back with green Force lightning.

Snoke yells out as she stumbles forward, and spins around just in time to be hit by a green spell.

Green smoke wraps itself around Snoke’s body, holding her still and beginning to raise her into the air, forcing her to drop her lightsaber hilts, where they hit the ground and deactivate.

Konsoz steps forward.

Konsoz (Calmly): Do not be afraid Leia. I’ll remove this parasite from you.

Konsoz eyes seem to have green flames dance from them as she begins to chant, green mist and mystic ruins hovering the air around her as she begins to levitate up towards Snoke.

Snoke screams in anger and agony, as we start to see the green mist be combined with a strange red and black one.

Slowly, Snoke’s angered scream begins to merge with one of a young frightened girl, as the red and black mist appears to take the appearance of Snoke’s actual face over Leia’s.

In desperation, Snoke uses The Force to summon an object from her belt to her hand, a small device and presses the button.

The camera cuts back to Konsoz in confusion as she hears several soft BOOMS in the distance.

Suddenly, a coffin-shaped pod smashes through the roof of the Jedi temple, and Konsoz is forced to leap backwards as it smashes into the ground, losing her grip on Snoke and disappearing from view as the rubble smashes down on top of her.

Snoke drops to the ground, groaning in agony as more pods smash through the roof, and begin to hiss as they open, even more Sith Clones emerging.

Snoke pants in pain, as the black and red mist swirls back into her body, before standing up again, and lightly shaking her head.

She turns to see Temiri Blagg and Alettan Dural, fighting against the Sith Reinforcements, and screams in rage, charging towards them, holding her hands out allowing her blades to return to them.

Alettan and Temiri hear Snoke’s scream and spin around to see Snoke charging towards them, raising their weapons just in time to block Snoke’s swinging blades.

Chapter Text

INT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – ENTRANCEWAY – EVENING

Tubru ducks to the side of a swinging lightsaber, spinning his orange blades to deflect the Sith Warriors away from him.

He then quickly jumps back from them, landing on the base of a pillar and using it to launch himself into the air, swinging his blade downwards at the warriors.

Before he lands, however, Darth Zyph flies past, knocking him through the air and sending him crashing into another pillar a little further away.

Darth Zyph screeches, and spins downwards, aiming for the kill.

Tubru hits the ground heavily, and only just manages to bring his blade up to block Zyph’s attack, rolling to the side and jumping to his feet.

Zyph spins around throwing his blade towards Tubru, who deflects it, sending it back towards Zyph who leaps into the air, bringing his lightsaber over his head and swinging down at Tubru as he lands.

Tubru brings his lightsaber up to defend himself, and Zyph flaps his wings in mid-air, giving him the moment he needs to change his strike, and slice straight through the middle of Tubru’s lightsaber hilt.

The blades deactivate as Zyph hits the ground, and Tubru doesn’t have an opportunity to react as he is hit by Force Lightning from Zyph’s outstretched hand.

Tubru hits another pillar, grunting in pain. A Sith Clone charges him, and he quickly jumps to his feet, dodging the attack and punching The Sith Clone in the head so hard that its helmet cracks, bending its neck at an odd angle and falling backwards.

He turns, seeing Zyph land in front of a group of Sith Clones.

Tubru growls, turns his head to the side to spit out blood, then holds up his hands, smirking. With a berserker’s roar, he charges towards the group of Sith’s with no fear.

Joshuan and Natjack stand near each other, as Darth Chror uses his spinning lightsaber to keep them both at bay.

Natjack rolls to the side, going for Chror’s legs, who steps away, bringing his spinning weapon towards him.

Joshuan runs forward, and Chror spins around, throwing his spinning lightsaber at Joshuan, who jumps to a pillar, avoiding the spinning blade, then leaps from the pillar, bringing his blade down on Chror, trying to impale him through the chest.

The blade bounces harmlessly off the Beskar armour, and Chror laughs, backhanding Joshuan and causing him to stumble backwards.

Chror punches out his hand, hitting Joshuan with lightning and sending him flying backwards and hitting a wall.

Joshuan sits up and looks back just in time to see Chror’s lightsaber return to him and stab Natjack through the chest.

Joshuan (Shocked): Natjack!

Joshuan pauses, standing up and looking around the room at the chaos.

A little further away, he sees Alettan Dural and Temiri Blagg lying on the ground.

Alettan’s eyes are wide open, but her body is still.

Temiri coughs weakly and reaches out a hand to his wife, tears in his eyes.

Snoke steps to him, and impales him in the back with her lightsaber, turning her head to look at Joshuan and giving a taunting smirk.

Joshuan breaths out then turns to see Mara Jade and Zois battling Darth Craggonus.

He turns again, just in time to see Darth Zyph snap Tubru’s neck, letting his body drop to the floor.

He turns back to Mara.

Joshuan (Screaming): Mara!

Mara jumps back from Craggonus’s swing, as Zois rushes forward, attacking Craggonus.

She turns to Joshuan, fear on her face.

Joshuan (Yelling): Mara! Get the younglings, and run!

Mara’s eyes go wide.

Mara: No! I made a vow to protect Coruscant-

Joshuan (Cutting Her Off): And you can’t do that if you’re dead! GO!

Joshuan turns away, charging towards Snoke.

Zois jumps backwards towards Mara.

Zois: Go, Mara! I will cover your escape!

Craggonus laughs.

Craggonus (Taunting): Yes girl! Run! Run in terror! I’ll enjoy the hunt!

Zois roars and charges Craggonus again.

Mara stays still for a moment, then turns and begins to run deeper into The Jedi Temple.

Joshuan continues his charge at Snoke, who throws her black lightsaber at him.

Joshuan leaps over it, but before he lands, Snoke hits him with lighting, sending him flying backwards and through some rubble back towards the entrance.

His Lightsabers are gone, and he looks upwards just in time to see Snoke fly through the air, her lightsaber returning to her mid-jump.

She roars in a rage, as Joshuan rolls to the side, slashing the ground where Joshuan had just been lying.

Joshuan jumps to his feet, stepping back to avoid another swing, before rolling under another attack, coming up behind Snoke and kicking her in the back.

Joshuan spins around, seeing one of his Lightsabers and pulling it towards him.

He grabs it, activating it, and spinning around, blocking another attack.

It’s his short lightsaber. 

Joshuan and Snoke begin to duel each other in perfect sync, as the last bit of daylight shines through the entrance.

After a moment of fast swinging, Joshuan backhands Snoke, knocking her a step to the side, then bringing his lightsaber down on her head.

Snoke quickly raises her hand, using Force lightning to hold the Lightsaber in place mid-swing. She roars, pushing upwards, and Joshuan’s blade gets pushed into the air, leaving him open.

He tries spinning to the side, but Snoke also spins, and they come to face each other as Joshuan gasps in pain.

The camera cuts to the floor as Joshuan’s lightsaber hits the ground.

The camera cuts back to Joshuan and Snoke, looking into the eyes of each other.

Snoke smirks.

Snoke (Whispering): You’ve failed.

Snoke pulls her black blade from Joshuan’s stomach.

Joshuan stays still for a moment, before he slumps to his knees, gazing out the entrance of The Jedi Temple as Mandalorian Gauntlets and Tie-Daggers fly overhead, firing on the city of Coruscant.

Joshuan falls forward, out of view of the camera.

EXT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – NIGHT

As the night falls, we cut to a wide shot of the city around The Jedi Temple, as the buildings around them crumble and explode.

The ships continue their attacks.

The city burns from fire.

EXT – CORUSCANT – JEDI TEMPLE – STATUES – AFTERNOON

The camera cuts back to The Jedi Temple, as Snoke walks past the statues of the ancient Jedi outside the entrance.

One of the statues crumbles and falls to the ground behind her, as the eight Elite Praetorian Guards fall into line, walking with her along the bridge.

The camera cuts closer to Snoke as she lifts her hood, her Sith Yellow eyes glowing brightly under the darkness…
