Chapter Text

Jiyong was minding his own business. He was playing with Seungjae before dinner. After dinner, they play some more and get ready for bed. Everything was normal. After going to bed, he sees the picture of Sechskies' stage on Infinite Challange.

"Appa, can we visit uncles soon?" (Seungjae)

"Yes, Seungjae. We'll meet them soon." (Jiyong)

As he was sleeping, Jiyong didn't feel good. He felt like his body burning. As he woke up, we felt like something was not right.

"Jiyong. Jiyong, wake up."

"What? Who?" (Jiyong)

"You're awake. Hey everyone. Jiyong's awake." (Jiwon?)

He couldn't believe it. It was Jiwon but he looked younger. He was in panic mode. Where was he? Why is everyone in Sechskies here? And most importantly, why does everyone look younger? He tried to find his phone but couldn't find it. Then he looked at the calander. It didn't say 2021!

"Jiwon hyung. What year is it?" (Jiyong)

"It's 1997. Why?" (Jiwon?)

That made him panic even more. (1997?) Does that mean he's in the past? But when he looked in the mirror, he looked younger. That made him more confused.

"Everyone, get out! NOW!" (Jiyong) The others went out like he said.

Why was he in the hospital? Why is it 1997 again? Has he time traveled? But then why does he look younger?

"What is happening?" he whispers. 

He pinched himself to see if this was a dream. It hurt so it's not a dream. He let the others in.

"Guys, what happened?" (Jiyong)

"We were getting ready for our next schedule when you fainted." (Sunghoon?)

"We got worried and brought you here." (Jaijin?)

"We cancelled the rest of our schedule for the next few days so you can rest." (Jiwon?)

"Oh, okay..." (Jiyong)

He stayed in the hospital for 3 days before getting discharged. The fans were waiting for him outside the hospital. He never seen his fans rally around him for years.

"Wow. I never seen this is years." he said to himself. The fans didn't hear what he was talking about.

As he tried to get out, the fans kept pushing him. It escalated to the point where he tripped on his own feet and hit his head on the ground.

"AH!" (Jiyong)

"Honey. What's wrong?" (Yangim)

"I... think I had a dream. I was in 1997 again." (Jiyong)

"That's some dream you had." (Yangim)

"Yeah. But it didn't felt like a dream. It was almost like it was too real." (Jiyong)

Then he realizes something. If this was the case, wouldn't it be on the news? At work, he went to his computer to find out. He managed to find the article. It really said, "Sechskies' Ko Jiyong fainted during TV recording". It wasn't a dream. It was real. That means he was possessing his younger self from the past. But there were two questions. Why and how?

The next time he was possessing his younger self, he purchased a notebook to write to him so he can tell him what is happening. The first thing he wrote was...

'I am you from the future. 2021 to be precise. I am writing this so you can understand. Somehow I'm able to possess you and I don't want anything to change about the future. Don't show this to anyone.'

Once he returned to his own time period, past Jiyong looked at the notebook.

"So, this is what's happening? My self from the future is possessing me?" (past Jiyong)

At first he couldn't believe it but by the way he keeps having gaps in his memory, this had to be real. He wrote to his future self...

'So, you're from 2021? What's happening in the future? Is Sechskies still together? I want to know some things. Even if it's not all of them.'

He had one question. "If he's possessing me, where do I go?"

Chapter Text

It's been a month since the start of the incident. Jiyong keeps possessing his past self and he has to be a celebrity again in over 21 years. He never got used to it but has been able to do some in the last week.

He thinks to himself. (I need to find a pattern. What makes me possess him? What's the trigger and why am I possessing him in the first place?)

"You okay?" (Past Jiwon)

"... Yeah. I'm okay." (Jiyong) Even though he's not.

Hoping that nobody's watching, he starts to write in his notebook to his past self. 

'So, we're heading to our last schedule. It's a skit show where we act as students. I hope you watch this when I get back to myself.'

He's not sure if that last sentence made sense. Saying that, he realized nothing is making sense right now.

"What are you writing?" (Past Jaijin)

Jiyong quickly hides the notebook. "Nothing."

"Doesn't seem like nothing." (Past Sunghoon)

He's right. It's not nothing. He's hiding something and they shouldn't know anything about this.

After the taping was over, he quickly went to the dressing room to write in the notebook.

'It's 16:00. We finished taping for the show. I wonder how long this will last?'

Just as he was writing the last word, the others came in.

"Writing again?" (Past Suwon)

"Uh... No." (Jiyong)

"Doesn't seem like it." (Past Jaeduck)

"What in the notebook?" (Past Jiwon)

"It's nothing. I swear." (Jiyong) They looked at him suspiciously.

As they got to the van, Jiyong fell asleep. When he woke up, he was at his desk at work. He looks at the clock and only a few minutes have past. He calculates that an 30 minutes in the past is a minute in the present. That is just very confusing. Once he got home, he quickly thinks up ideas for what the trigger is.

"The first time it happened, the last thing I remember was sleeping. Then, when I woke up, I was in 1997. So does that mean everytime a sleep, I go to the past?" 

The could make sense. Saying that again, things are making any sense these days.

"Honey, we're home." (Yangim)

"Appa!" (Seungjae)

"Welcome home. Did you have a good day?" (Jiyong)

"Yes, appa. We played soccer today." (Seungjae)

"That sounds like fun." (Jiyong)

He waits until he falls asleep to make sure his hypothesis is correct. When he woke up, he was in his old apartment. So it was true. It happens everytime they fall asleep. He finds the notebook and writes in it.

'I figured out what the trigger is. It happens when we fall asleep. So try and not fall alseep during the day.'

As he wrote that, there was a knock on the door.

"Jiyong, hurry up. The others are waiting." (Manager)

"I'll be there." (Jiyong)

He quickly gets ready and goes out the door. The others were waiting for him in the van. He then writes in his notebook, saying what's in the future.

'So, you want to know the future? I won't tell you about Sechskies in the future but I can tell you what we have. We have smartphones, We can access them using the internet.' He draws a smartphone to the best of his ability. 'We also have laptops which are portable computers.' He also draws a laptop.

"First writing, now you're drawing?" (Past Jiwon)

He hides the notebook.

"Come on. You can tell us." (Past Jaijin)

"I'm not." (Jiyong) Suddenly he falls asleep.

He woke up in his bedroom with Yangim and Seungjae next to him. He was surprised that his hypothesis was right. The next day, he gets ready for work. Seungjae brings him a notebook.

"Appa, what is this?" (Seungjae)

Jiyong looks in the notebook. It's the notebook he bought in 1997.

"It's appa's notebook. I've been looking for it. Thanks, Seungjae." (Jiyong)

"You're welcome." (Seungjae)

He goes to work wondering what will happen in the past. Will things have changed or stayed the same?

Meanwhile, past Jiyong is reading through the notebook. He was surprised about how the technology was more advanced than what they have in the 90's. He was also surprised when he found out the trigger of the time slips was them sleeping at the same time.

"So, try not to sleep during work." (Past Jiyong)

He tries to not sleep during work. It was hard though. Working as an idol through day and night means that he would have insomnia. The others were starting to get worried about him. He keeps having gaps in his memories. He kept asking them what's going on or where they are when he was with them.

"What's going on with him?" (Past Sunghoon)

"I don't know but we're going to find out." (Past Jiwon)

Chapter Text

The past version of Sechskies followed Jiyong's every move. From writing in his notebook to joining them in their schedules. They found out that the notebook was the key to their investigation. But "Jiyong is very protective of it. So they come up with a plan to get it away from him. The next day, they have interviews. They will be interviewed one by one. So when it's Jiyong's turn, they look in his notebook.

"Jiyong-sshi, it's your turn." (Reporter)

"Yes, I coming." (Past Jiyong)

As Jiyong left, it's time to put their plan into action. They grab the notebook.

"Are you sure that this is a great idea?" (Past Suwon)

"It's the only thing we have as evidence so we have to." (Past Jiwon)

They open it and they see somethings that they didn't expect.

"What's this?" (Past Sunghoon)

"Looks like a journal." (Past Jaijin)

"But why does that sentence say 'I'm you from the future'?" (Past Jaeduck)

They see the first sentence in the first page of the notebook. It's the message that future Jiyong had wrote to his past self.

It said, 'I am you from the future. 2021 to be precise. I am writing this so you can understand. Somehow I'm able to possess you and I don't want anything to change about the future. Don't show this to anyone.'

"This must be a joke." (Past Jiwon)

"Or maybe not. Look. There's more." (Past Jaijin)

There was more. They looked at the next message. It was from their Jiyong. It said, 'So, you're from 2021? What's happening in the future? Is Sechskies still together? I want to know some things. Even if it's not all of them.'

That means Jiyong knows what's happening in the future. They look through the notebook to see more. There was another message saying, 'So, you want to know the future? I won't tell you about Sechskies in the future but I can tell you what we have. We have smartphones, We can access them using the internet. We also have laptops which are portable computers.' Then they see the pictures of a smartphone and laptop.

"So, this is technology they have in the future?" (Past Suwon)

"Looks pretty cool." (Past Jaijin)

"Let's see watch else is in this book." (Past Jiwon)

There were a lot of messages from present and future Jiyong. One of which saying, 'I can't say anything about future Sechskies but I can tell you that they are still active. What I mean by 'they' is that I'm retired and I'm living a quiet life with my family.'

"So he has a family in the future?" (Past Jaeduck)

"I guess so." (Past Sunghoon)

Just then, Jiyong came back. They put the notebook back in his bag.

"So... how did it went?" (Past Jiwon)

"It was fine. Just the typical idol question from fans." (Past Jiyong)

They laugh but as soon as he left, they were surprised by what they had seen.

Back in 2021, there's been something messing with the Sechskies member's memories. They remember something about Jiyong but they can't figure out what that is.

"It's that memory again." (Jiwon)

"What memory, hyung?" (Suwon)

"That memory were we looked at Jiyong's notebook." (Jiwon)

"Oh yeah, that. I don't remember what was in that notebook." (Jaeduck)

"Neither do I." (Jaijin)

Sunghoon has been having those flashbacks too. It's been 2 years since he left them but still have a connection with them. That memory of them together in 1997.

"Why am I thinking about this now?" (Sunghoon)

Why was he thinking about that? If their past self found out more about the future, there would have been bigger problems.

Chapter Text

Everything seems to be flowing in a pattern. Everytime Jiyong from both past and present sleep, the older one possess he younger one. But they want to know what the cause is. Just sleeping one day doesn't mean he can time travel.

"What caused this?" 

Jiyong wondered on. He had to keep this a secret from Yangim and Seungjae because they might not believe it. Seungjae is old enough to believe no such thing.

"What is it?"

While thinking, he took a nap. When he woke up, he realized he was in a van. He was in the past again. And the van means that he's going to other scheduled place.

"Where are we going this time?"

"What are you talking about? We're going home." (Manager)

"Oh..." He looks at the clock and sees that it's 6:00 pm.

As he went to his apartment, well, his old apartment, he saw a fortune teller's tent. He remembers there was no such thing in his old neighborhood. He goes to see what was up with this thing.

"Hello? Is anybody here?" 

"Hello there. You must be wondering why we're here."

"Yes but you don't look like a fortune teller. And also, I have a few questions."

"Go on." 

"First of all, who are you?" 

"I'm time travel agent Kim Anjun. This is my partner, agent Lee Minhwan."

"And why are you here?"

"We're here because we wanted to see you." (Minhwan)

"Because of what?"

"Because we know you're situation. You're currently your furture self, correct?" (Anjun)

"How'd you know?"

"We're the ones who cause your situation."

"What?!"

"We're from 2071. We were experimenting on astrophysical time traveling. But the expriment went awry and it's technology went to 2021." (Anjun)

"That's my time period."

"Yes. It found it's wanted host." (Anjun)

"Wanted host? Which is me?"

"Which is you. We are terribly sorry for this. We didn't expect this to happen." (Minhwan)

"It's okay. I didn't expect this either. But I need to ask you something." 

"What is it." (Anjun)

"If you're time travelers, can you bring my normal self here?" 

"I don't see why not. But why?" (Anjun)

"I need to see my past self face to face." 

"I see. Alright then." (Minhwan)

They make a time portal and bring Jiyong's normal body to the past. He was unconscious because he was sleeping.

"So... how do I get back to myself?"

"We use this." Anjun shows him a pocket watch.

"A pocket watch?"

"It's more than just a pocket watch. It's a time travel device. It can help you time travel physically or mentally." (Anjun)

"It can also switch you back." (Minhwan)

"Do it! Do it now!" 

"Alright already." (Anjun)

They used the pocket watch to bring Jiyong's consciousness back to his own body. He wakes up and see his past self right in front of him.

"What? What happened?" (Past Jiyong)

"So... This is the first time we talk face to face right?" 

"Yes..." Past Jiyong said confusingly.

"We must introduce ourselves. I'm Kim Anjun and this is Lee Minhwan. We are time travel agents." (Anjun)

"Time travel? Then that must mean..." (Past Jiyong)

"Yes. And this is your future self." (Anjun)

"My future self?" (Past Jiyong)

"Yes. I'm you from 2021."

"Wow. So this is it? We part ways here?" (Past Jiyong)

"No. We have an idea." (Minhwan)

"What idea?"

"We think you two can benefit from this. You two can time travel to each other's time periods and see what's up." (Anjun)

"But won't it mess up the future?" 

"It won't. The technology in the pocket watches will enable you two to go to the past or future without messing it up." (Minhwan)

"Okay then... I guess this is just the begining." (Past Jiyong)

"Yes. I think so too."

Chapter Text

Ever since they met the time travel agents, they've been working together to fix their technology. 2021 Jiyong has been visiting the past and 1997 Jiyong has been visiting the future. One day, Jiyong decides to tell his wife and son about his secret. They took it surprising well, seeing that Jiyong kept waking up from some kind of nightmare.

"So we can visit uncles?" (Seungjae)

"Yes but remember. We have to cover up our identities and you have to call my past self as uncle too." (Jiyong)

"Okay, appa." (Seungjae)

They get ready for time traveling.

"You ready?" (Jiyong)

"Ready." (Yangim)

Jiyong activates the pocket watch and it creates a portal. They time traveled to 1997. They went to see 1997 Jiyong.

"Hello. You must be Yangim-sshi." (Past Jiyong)

"Yes. Nice to meet you." (Yangim)

"And you must be Seungjae." (Past Jiyong)

"Yes." (Seungjae)

Just then, the other Sechskies members came through the door. 

"Hello. You must be..." (Past Jiwon)

"I'm Jiyong's cousin. I'm Ko Jiyoon. This is my wife Inah and my son Jaeha." (Jiyong)

"Nice to meet you." (Past Jaijin)

"I say, your son is cute." (Past Sunghoon)

"Thank you." (Seungjae)

"And so polite too." (Past Jaeduck)

"Why are you here?" (Past Suwon)

"We just came back from America and thought we come to see Jiyong." (Jiyong)

"Okay then. Have some quality time. We'll be out of your way." (Past Jiwon)

"Thank you." (Jiyong)

After some talking, they decide to bring past Jiyong to the future to see what it's like.

"Wow. This is 2021?" (Past Jiyong)

"Yes and wear this." Jiyong hands him a face mask.

"What's this for?" (Past Jiyong)

"Right now, the world is in a pandemic so we have to wear these." (Jiyong)

"Okay." (Past Jiyong)

He saw tall bulidings, new forms of technology and lots of people. It was more than he ever imagined. A few people recognized Jiyong but noticed a young teenager who looks exactly like him.

"He's my cousin, Jiyoon. He's visiting us." Jiyong had to lie because of the fact the young teenager is himself from the past.

They took him to their house. It was big for a family of three but it was nice. A nice yard to play in and to have a garden.

"What a beautiful home." (Past Jiyong)

"Thank you. But in retrospect, you're going to have this house." (Yangim) And he thought about it, she was right.

They chatted for a while and past Jiyong played with Seungjae. It was great. He knows he's going to have a family in the future.

"Hey. Can we try something?" (Jiyong)

"What?" (Past Jiyong)

Jiyong pressed some buttons on the pocket watch. Then he passed out.

"Appa!" Seungjae was about to cry.

"Seungjae. Appa's here." Jiyong says while possessing his past self.

"Appa?" (Seungjae)

"Yes." (Jiyong)

He goes back to his normal body. Then he tries suggests something.

"This time, how about you try to possess me?" (Jiyong)

"Me? Possess you? Is that possible?" (Past Jiyong)

"It could be." Just then Anjun and Minhwan come through a portal.

"If we try, it just might work." (Minhwan)

They pressed some buttons and past Jiyong passes out.

"What? What happened." (Past Jiyong)

"You're in your future self." (Anjun)

He looks in the mirror. "It really happened."

He goes back to his normal self. That was interesting. All this time, it was the future self that kept possessing his past self. Now the past and possess the future.

When past Jiyong goes back to his time period, he makes sure that nothing happened while he was gone. He reactivated time and everyone started to move again. He went back to his apartment and wrote in his notebook. He wrote 'Hey me from the future. I loved being there. Knowing that I have a family is the greatest thing ever. If you remember, I wasn't planning on becoming a celebrity. I was planning on retiring but didn't know when. Now I know that I will retire when Sechskies disbands in 2000. I know the disbandment is sudden but a learned to accept it.'

The others have been suspicious of Jiyong's behavior. Even since they looked in his notebook, everything changed. The found out that his future self is possess him everytime they sleep. But nowadays, he's been going to places without their consent. They deicded to look in his notebook again if they have the chance. And today might be it. The have another maganize interview and it was Jiyongs turn.

"Jiyong-sshi. It's your turn." (Reporter)

"Coming." (Past Jiyong)

Now's their chance. Once Jiyong was out, they grabbed his notebook and looked inside. There were many new messages but one of them stood out the most to them. It was from their Jiyong to his future self. It said, 'Hey me from the future. I loved being there. Knowing that I have a family is the greatest thing ever. If you remember, I wasn't planning on becoming a celebrity. I was planning on retiring but didn't know when. Now I know that I will retire when Sechskies disbands in 2000. I know the disbandment is sudden but a learned to accept it.'

"What? What does he mean?" (Past Jiwon)

"Sechskies will disband?" (Past Sunghoon)

"In 3 years?" (Past Jaijin)

"It can't be." (Past Suwon)

"But based on what we saw last time, it has to be true." (Past Jaeduck)

They hesitated for a bit and read the message again.

(He's going to have a family in the future.) Past Jiwon thought to himself

In 2021, Sechskies members felt like they were getting a headache. They keep remembering things that they do not remember. Jiwon had it worse, as he was sleeping through the whole thing. As he was dreaming, he saw one memory that he really does not remember at all.

"AH!" (Jiwon)

"Hyung, you okay?" (Suwon)

"No. I had a dream. More like a nightmare." (Jiwon)

"What was it?" (Jaeduck)

"Back in 1997, we looked in Jiyong notebook and saw the message to his future self. He said he's going to have a family and he knew about Sechskies' first disbandment." (Jiwon)

"With the family part, basing on how he looks now, he does look like his cousin, Jiyoon." (Jaijin)

"That's it. We didn't even know he had a cousin named Jiyoon." (Jiwon)

That's because Jiyoon isn't his real name and that it's a alias that 2021 Jiyong had to use in 1997 and 1997 Jiyong use in 2021.

Back in 1997, after work, past Jiyong decides to contact his future self and talk about some things. He takes out his pocket watch and pressed some buttons to form the communicator.

"So... How's it been?" (Jiyong)

"It's been great. Despite there being lots of work." (Past Jiyong)

"I bet. Idols need to work all day. Unlike an office worker." (Jiyong)

"So, how are things with your family. Is Seungjae doing well?" (Past Jiyong)

"He's doing well. He's going to elementary school." (Jiyong)

"Elementary school? Already? Time goes so fast." (Past Jiyong)

"I know, right?" (Jiyong)

"Do you mind if I possess you tonight? I would like to see what the future is like in the night." (Past Jiyong)

"Of course. Just tell me when and I'll be ready." (Jiyong)

But he did know that the others were watching and listening to their whole conversation.

"What is he...?" Possessing his future self?" (Past Jiwon)

"His son is going to elementary school in 2021. The means he's born in 2014." (Past Jaeduck)

"Then he knows what's going to happen to us in the 2021." (Past Suwon)

"Will be still be together?" (Past Jaijin)

"Or will we really disband?" (Past Sunghoon)

Again, in 2021, the Sechskies members and Sunghoon keep having flashbacks of unknown memories. They keep remembering things that didn't happen to them in the 90's or what they could remember in the 90's.

"What is going on?" (Jiwon)

"What is happening?" (Jaijin)

"Why is this going on?" (Jaeduck)

"What's the cause?" (Suwon)

"Why is it happening now?" (Sunghoon)

Ko Jiyong has been living a pretty normal life since his retirement of the entertainment industry. But for the past 6 months, that normal has shifted. He's able to possess his younger self from 1997 just by sleeping. Both 1997 and 2021 Jiyong have met the time travel agents Anjun and Minhwan and they were able to time travel to the past and future while also being able to possess each other. 

2021

Jiyong was getting ready to go to work. Suddenly, he gets a message through his pocket watch.

'Hey, future me. It's my day off and I was wondering if I could spend it with you. I know you're going to be at work but I have a plan.'

He responds, 'Fine. We'll have to do that cousin act again.'

He opens a portal and past Jiyong comes through it.

"Hey." (Past Jiyong)

"Nice to see you again." (Jiyong)

"Appa! Oh. Appa from the past." (Seungjae)

"Hey, Seungjae. Going to school I see." (Past Jiyong)

"Yeah! Where's Appas going?" (Seungjae)

"I'm taking him to my workplace. And remember, when he's here, he's your uncle. Not appa from the past." (Jiyong)

"Okay." (Seungjae)

"Well, we're heading off." (Yangim)

"See you in the evening." (Jiyong)

"So, when are we leaving?" (Past Jiyong)

1997

The others went to Jiyong's apartment to see what he was doing. But when they got to his door, they saw a note. It said, 'Off to see family. Not going to be here for 3 days.'

"Off to see family?" (Past Jiwon)

"Sounds fishy." (Past Suwon)

"Something is fishy and we're going to find out what." Past Jaijin says that as he was about to knock down the door.

"Yeah... Let's not do that." (Past Jaeduck)

"I agree. Knocking the door down will not help." (Past Sunghoon)

"So, what do we do?" (Past Jaijin)

"Come back in 3 days and see what happens." (Past Jiwon)

3 days later...

It's been 3 days since they last came to Jiyong's apartment. They wanted to see if he really has gone to see family. But as they were about to knock on the door, Jiyong appeared behind them.

"What are you doing here?" (Past Jiyong)

"We were wondering where you were." (Past Sunghoon)

"I was visiting family. My cousin and his family came too." (Past Jiyong)

"Oh yeah. Jiyoon-sshi and his family. I remember." (Past Jiwon)

"His kid was cute." (Past Jaijin)

"And looked a lot like childhood photos of Jiyong." (Past Jaeduck)

"That's because we're family. We do look alike." (Past Jiyong)

"Even so, it's too big of a coincidence." (Past Suwon)

"Guys, you're thinking about it too hard. There's nothing going on with me. Now if you will excuse me, I need to unpack my bags." Past Jiyong says as he walks into his apartment.

The others don't think there's nothing going on. Something is going on.

"Why won't he talk about it?" (Past Jiwon)

2021

Jiwon was currently filming for a TV program with his New Journey to the West castmates, Kyuhyun, Mino, and P.O. As they were taking a break, Jiwon took a little nap. While he was napping, he had another dream. More like a nightmare.

"AH!" (Jiwon)

"What is it hyung?" (Kyuhyun) The three come hurrying to their senior.

"It's... Nothing... Just a little dream. That's all." (Jiwon)

"Well, shake it off because breaks over." (Mino)

"Yeah, hyung. You'll be better when we film for the show." (P.O)

"I hope so." Jiwon can't shake the feeling of that dream. He saw that he and the others were at Jiyong's apartment and Jiyong appeared behind them like a ghost. "What was that? When did that happen? How did he do that?" There were a lot of questions that can't be answered. Or can it?

After filming, Jiwon goes back home. Everything's where they should be, except for a letter on his bookshelf. He thought that it could be from a fan who sneaked in but when he looked at it, he got surprised.

'Hey, me from the future. I'm writing this because we need to know about what Jiyong's been up to. He's been talking to himself. Literally, he's talking to himself! From the future! Your time period! We've been keeping an eye on him but can't seem to understand what he's doing. I was wondering if you can go to him and see what's going on.'

"Did I write this? I don't remember." He definetly doesn't remember writing that. What's going on?

Jiwon is currently out of his mind. He got a letter from his past self that he didn't even remember writing. What's going on with his life?

"Seriously, what's going on?"

He goes out to gets some fresh air and some answers. Then all of a sudden, everything went black.

Both 1997 and 2021 Jiwon have been in an accident regarding time technology. Jiwon's car went through a time portal, hit his past self and hit himself against a wall. Both Jiwons were brought and treated by Anjun and Minhwan. But they did something that Both Jiyongs didn't expect.

"So, you brought Jiwon hyung and put him in 1997 Jiwon hyung?" (Jiyong)

"Basically, yes. Both Jiwons have been in an accident and this was the only way to save them." (Anjun)

"Don't worry. He's memories of the future are temporarily erased for this." (Minhwan)

"Temporarily?" (Past Jiyong)

"Yes. And before you question it, your Jiwon is in future Jiwon's body until we can fix him." (Anjun) Did that sound right?

Just then, 2021 Jiwon woke up. "Where am I?"

"Hyung!" (Past Jiyong)

"Jiyong? What happened?" (Jiwon)

"You were in an accident. We brought you here." (Past Jiyong)

"We?" (Jiwon)

"Me and my cousin." (Past Jiyong)

"Hello." Jiyong couldn't keep a straight face while looking at him. It was Jiwon from his time period but in the body of his past self.

"So, I was in a car accident or something?" (Jiwon)

"Uh... yeah. Something like that." (Past Jiyong)

"What do you mean by that?" (Jiwon)

"Nothing... Anyways, you should rest." (Past Jiyong)

"I think I will." (Jiwon) 

Thankfully, he hasn't noticed anything about Jiyong's behavior or the future. The other members of Sechskies came to visit him and comforted him. But he didn't feel comforted. It was almost like he felt this was wrong and he's in a different place. A few days later, he was discharged from the hospital and his fans were waiting outside from him to come out.

"Look! Jiwon oppa's recovered!"

They all rally around the hospital until the nurses shooed them away. Jiwon's still a patient even if he's out of the hospital. But then, he starts to have a bad headache. 

"Ah... What is this?" He got a glimps of something but what was it?

"Hyung!" The others call him.

"We came to pick you up." (Past Jaeduck)

"Oh... Thanks." (Jiwon)

"You okay, hyung?" (Past Sunghoon)

"Oh yeah. Just a little headache." (Jiwon) Jiyong was worried that it might be his surpressed memories coming out.

They brought him home or to past Jiwon's home. They dropped him off and he went to his apartment but then had another headache.

"Is this my place?" He wondered. Is it his place? He's not sure.

"No... This must be it."

He goes inside and sees all the things in the living room. A TV that was suited for the 90s and old video tapes that would never be in 2021.

"What the..."

He looks into his room and sees old furniture that he doesn't recognized despite being his home. Then he gets another headache.

"AH! What is..." Then, he sees a flash image.

"Was that...?" It was an image of him and the rest of Sechskies but they looked older. And Jiyong was wearing a black suit while the others were weaering white.

Anjun and Minhwan looked into a distance.

"Looks like it didn't work properly." (Anjun)

"I think so too." (Minhwan)

Chapter Text

Jiwon couldn't understand what was going on. He keep having glimpses of moments that he doesn't remember. Or are they? Then he remembered. He got a letter from his past self and was out until everything went black. As he was about to get ready for bed, Anjun and Minhwan came throught his window.

"AH! What the..." (Jiwon)

"Hello, Jiwon-sshi. I guess we have a lot to explain." (Anjun)

"Yes. First of all, who are you and where am I?" (Jiwon)

"Well, I'm Kim Anjun and this is my partner, Lee Minhwan. And you're in your old apartment from 1997." 

"Hold on! 1997?" (Jiwon)

"Yes. You and your past self got into an accident and we are fixing your body right now." (Minhwan)

"Wait. So, my past self is in my body?" (Jiwon)

"Bascially, yes." (Anjun)

"And actually, Jiyong-sshi is involved in this." (Minhwan)

"How is Jiyong involved?" Jiwon then remembers something. The sudden flashbacks. Jiyong's supposed cousin. It all makes sense now.

Anjun called both Jiyongs to tell them that 2021 Jiwon remembers everything and that 1997 Jiwon was all fixed.

"It was a proto-type so there was a chance that it might not work as well as we thought." (Minhwan)

"So, let me get this straight. Because of your experiment, 2021 Jiyong started to possess his 1997 self and after meeting you, they were able to time travel to each other's time periods?" (Past Jiwon)

"Yes. He couldn't tell you that so that's why he introduce him as his cousin." (Anjun)

"Jiyong. You should have told us." (Past Jiwon)

"If I did, would you have believed me? I met people from 2021 and 2071!" (Past Jiyong)

"Now, now you two. Don't get too hot-headed. Everything is going to be alright." (Jiyong)

"Easy for you to say. You have more experience." (Jiwon)

"Now that you know, it's going to be harder to keep this from the others." (Jiyong)

"Don't worry about it. I can keep a secret." (Jiwon)

"I can too. If that's what you want." (Past Jiwon)

"Then I guess we have no choice but to give you these." Anjun gives them wrist watches.

"What are these for?" (Past Jiwon)

"You can use them to communicate and possess each other. Or use them to go to each other's time periods." (Anjun)

"That's so cool!" Jiwon was excited to do this. Jiyong can see the excitment on his face. "Now we can talk to each other more often."

"I guess we can now." (Jiyong)

It's been a few weeks since the incident. Both Jiwons and Jiyongs have been hanging a lot more and experienced each other's lives. 2021 Jiwon and Jiyong experience their past idol days and 1997 Jiwon and Jiyong get to experience adult life.

"Wow. I never knew we get to be idols again." (Jiwon)

"Well, we have to make sure that we don't change the future." (Jiyong)

"Hey, you two. We're up in 5." (Past Jaijin)

"Coming!" (Jiwon, Jiyong)

Sechskies finished their TV recording and Jiwon and Jiyong were ready to go back to 2021.

"Did you call them?" (Jiyong)

"Yep. They're ready too." (Jiwon)

As the others were about to get closer to them, the two fainted.

"Jiwon hyung!" (Past Sunghoon)

"Jiyong!" (Past Jaeduck)

"Ugh... We're fine." (Past Jiyong)

"Yeah... Just a little light-headed." (Past Jiwon)

They both wink at each other. The secret is still kept. But for how long can they keep it for?
