Chapter 1: Testing For The Future

"Test 197 will begin testing soon. Symbiote so far has show no sign of bonding with a test subject. Each subject has died within day's, or a matter of minutes when the bond happens. The Symbiote seems to eat the organs of said host before a bond can be formed, no matter how many nutrients we've given said symbiote. We need to find a way that teh Host and Symbiote can bond that works great, no matter what." A doctor said, using a type recorder to record the research she was gathering.
"Test subject 196 went 10 day's before he died, the longest anyone has gone, but like the other's he slowly got weaker before he couldn't live anymore." Another doctor said, looking over notes while talking to the scientist with the recorder.
"He was a 20 year old, the stronger the host is, the more likely a bond is to happen, older humans die faster, so younger might be better to continue the test's on" The female scientist said, as she stared at the tube in the testing room, it was filled with a green symbiote which moved around in the container.
"Yes, Mr. Frisk want's result's soon, 3 months of trials, and we've gotten nothing. We need to get results soon or we're never get the results we need." The male doctor said standing up, his name tag read Dr. Hernandez as he walked to the glass window. The female doctor stood up, her tag read Dr. Diego on it as she stopped the tape for a minute. Both watching the green symbiote move in the container wildly, wanting out of it's prison.
"Begin the next test" Hernandez said, as guards dragged in a 21 year old female, who was struggling, yelling and begging to be let her go as they put her in the room, locking the door behind it.
"Miss Sidgwick, don't be afraid, we're doing a test, there's nothing to worry about." Hernandez said as he glanced back to see the symbiote moving around more wild at seeing someone in the room.
"What kind of test?" Sidgwick asked, not looking behind her yet as she stared at the two doctors.
"A year ago, The Life Foundation went under, Our Boss bought it out." Diego said as she wrote something down on paper.
"Wilson Fisk?" Sidgwick asked, remembering who bought it.
"Correct, when Mr. Fisk looked through the building and it's archives, he found the Life Foundation spend a ton of time on the research of Symbiotes. One was called SYM-A01 which was a black one, a unnamed blue one, an unnamed yellow one, a grey symbiote, and a hidden one, a green one. When Carlton Drake died in that Rocket Explosion, it was revealed he had the Grey symbiote, and based on the archives, the Yellow and Blue one's died from not having a host. The black one is currently unknown, it's believed to have a host, but the Green one, it's a fighter, some of Drake's men kept it alive after he died, and now Mr. Frisk is trying to get the last Symbiote he has to bond with any host, the scientific breakthroughs can be big, and you can be a part of it." Hernandez said.
"Symbiotes?" Sidgwick asked.
"A symbiote is a creature from outer space, a planet called Klyntar, their home. A symbiotic creature that needs a host to live, like a Parasite." Diego explained.
"No need to worry about it, it needs you more then you need it, no harm." Hernandez said.
Seeing Sidgwick nod, Diego pressed a button.
"Pod will open in 90 seconds" Diego said looking at a timer that began counting down.
Hernandez saw Miss Sidgwick get uncomfortable after a few seconds, and tried comforting her.
"Miss Sidgwick, what will happen next is to see if you bond with the symbiote, if you do, you will be paid handsomely, if not...you will be set free" Hernandez said, not bringing up that she'll die if they didn't pair.
"60 seconds" Diego said, counting down more.
"Symbiotes are something the world has yet to see to the full, but when you become it's host, the whole world will change" Hernandez added as he saw the Green Symbiote getting more crazy as it heard the countdown.
"30 seconds." Diego said.
"This is a test to see what symbiotes can really do when given the resources, and in few moments, we'll see it work, yes we will" Hernandez said as he went back to the counter, sitting down to watch.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1" Diego said as the pod opened, the symbiote falling to the floor and moving slowly.
Sidgwick moved towards it slowly, scared but intrigued at the specimen she saw. When she got close the symbiote latched onto her hand, slowly traveling up her arm. Before latching to her face suddenly. Her screams being muffed as the symbiote started expanding over her, as the doctor's watched.
As the symbiote entered her, she fell to her hands and knees, her eye's went a bright green color as she let out a loud roar that was heard throughout the building.
Her body shot up and started freaking out before running against the glass door, as she fell to the ground, she became motionless, besides a few small twitches before they stopped after a few minutes.
At that point the symbiote started coming out of her mouth. Having fed on her organs to continue living.
"Test 197... failed, Symbiote killed host faster this time then last test, still no consistent evidence to decide what to do. Next test shall begin planning" Diego said, as she finished the recording.
"Mr. Frisk sir, the test failed." Hernandez said to a tv screen behind them, showing Wilson Frisk, the Kingpin watching.
"Keep trying." He growled, hitting his desk hard.
"But sir, we're almost at 200 subjects, people are gonna start noticing soon." Hernandez said.
"Leave that issue to me, it's bad enough already with that Matt Murdock trying to file a lawsuit against me, if this get's out, he'll have an easy case, just get the tests done!" Kingpin yelled as the tv shut off.
"We'll find you a compatible host soon, just wait." Diego said as she touched the glass, the symbiote jumping at the wall, sticking to it.
"Get Hal in here to clean up this mess." Hernandez said into his walkie talkie, wanting the body taking care of now.
Chapter 2: A lesson in Symbiosis
Summary:
With Eddie and Venom working on a balanced life, another symbiote is looking for freedom.

"Eddie." Venom said, coming out of Eddie's back as he looked at him. The two were currently at the table, it was a rare moment of silence with the two ever since they bonded.
"Yeah V?" Eddie asked, ignoring him while reading the newspaper, the first thing he read before he would read any mail he got.
"I need to eat something! I get food from Chocolate but since we're out, I need heads!" Venom said.
"V, we've been over this, after the whole Carlton Drake and Riot thing, we need to be careful on when or who we eat, or else people will be after us. Like The Avengers. Since eating heads would get superhero's here, Ant-Man's already located here. Apparently Deadpool also" Eddie sighed.
"But we could be an awesome hero, if we want to impress Anne and get her away from Dan to be with us, we need to impress her!" Venom said.
"It's not right for us to ruin their relationship when she's happy with Dan, plus remember what Mrs. Chang said?" Eddie asked.
"There's plenty of fish in the sea for us, but you won't let us go for fish, or chickens, or chocolate!" Venom said.
"Alright, alright, fine. We're go out in a few minutes, let me finish reading this." Eddie said, flipping to the next page as Venom read the paper.
"Life Foundation was bought?! When did this happen? This is an outrage! It should be condemned! Burned to the ground!" Venom said moving around the room in a fit.
"Relax, someone from New York called Wilson Fisk bought it. From what I heard, he's harmless, which is way better then Drake. He bought it months ago, only now did anyone find out who the owner is." Eddie said.
"Drake almost ruined your life, we made it public knowledge that he was doing illegal shit! Anyone who bought that place must be evil, who would buy a building who's previous owner was pure evil!" Venom said as Eddie closed the paper.
"As much as I want to stop another evil corporation, we don't have any reason to try and stop Fisk, as far as we know, he's not an evil man and you feeling that he's evil isn't a good reason to try and expose him or eat him, When we could go out and find bad guys that we know are bad." Eddie said.
"Fine! But I'm keeping my eyes on him." Venom said.
"I know... also are you ever gonna eat those chickens I got you?" Eddie asked, finally looking Venom in the eyes, the sound of the chickens by the sofa bawked when he brought them up.
"How dare you! I'm not gonna eat Sonny and Cher, they're our housemates!" Venom said, acting hurt and offended.
"Why and when did you make them our roommates? And why wasn't I asked about this?" Eddie asked as he grabbed his keys, not wanting Venom to break the door again after the last time he forgot his keys.
"The Ladies love cute animals! I assure you. Plus when your asleep, it's nice to have someone to talk with" Venom said, full of confidence.
"Well... that's true......Wait you talk to them?" Eddie asked.
"Yes, and I'm Glad you agree with me, now food!" Venom said, in a tone that annoyed Eddie.
"Can you stop doing that?"
"Food! Food! Food!"
"I told you in a minute. We're talking!"
"Food!"
"Goddamn it, fine!" Eddie snapped as he left the room, Venom going back into him as they left.
After they left, it took a recorded breaking 3 seconds before Venom starting talking again.
"So, what's going on in your life as a journalist?" He asked
Eddie felt a headache coming as he pulled out his phone, pretending to talk to someone while he spoke with Venom, slowly learning that over time that this made him look less crazy then he already was.
"When did you care about journalism?"
"Since it shows me who the real bad guys are."
"Well Cletus wants to meet with me again."
"That Guy? He's crazy, I wouldn't do it."
"Well if my editor wants me to do it, I have to."
"If he does anything I'm gonna eat him!"
"Not allowed to eat a prisoner in a prison, we'd get caught right away."
"Why have a prison if we can't eat the bad people in there?"
"Because they did a crime, some crimes aren't as serious, Cletus has a ton of murder crimes, but they need the bodies, something he won't give."
"If he won't do the right thing, why can't I eat him?"
"Because eating the most notorious and dangerous serial killer randomly in his cell will get us into more trouble then you can imagine."
"If you let us be the Leathal Protector we're meant to be, we could be amazing!"
"You can't be like Spider-Man"
"Why not?!"
"You eat people, and Spider-Man doesn't eat people."
"That we know of."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"Jesus. Let's just get phenethylamine so your stop whining."
"I'm not whining."
"Yes you are!"
"Your whining as much as I am."
Eddie ran his hand through his hair with a groan.
"Anyone else?"
"There's Scott Lang, he was a formal criminal, I've heard they wanted me to interview him since he seems to have his life back on track."
"What did he do?"
"He stole 4 Million from Vistacorp and gave it back to the people the company stole said money from."
"He got arrested for helping?"
"Yeah."
"and what happened to Vistacorp?"
"Still open, with Geoff Zorick still in charge."
"I don't have an issue with eating this Zorick guy!"
"Hold on, let's hear Lang's story first, then we can decide if it's worth it."
"Fine. But I'm taking that one as a maybe"
"Finally here." Eddie said as he entered Mrs. Chen's shop.
"Good Morning Mrs. Chen."
"Good morning Eddie. Venom."
"Hello Mrs. Chen" Venom said, making a tentacle come out of Eddie to wave at her.
"Alright, so If we're doing this whole sharing thing, you need to answer a question for me."
"Depends on said question."
"You said four symbiotes came to earth, you were one, Riot was the other, who were the other two?"
"Phage and Mayham. On the tier of symbiotes, they were middle of the ladder, Riot being top of the food... chain..."
"What's with the pause?"
"Nothing... Just... felt like I forgot something... From the landing."
"What could you forget, you said this Phage and Mayham couldn't find hosts and Riot died with Drake."
"Yes, but it's a feeling, us symbiotes have a lifetime of knowledge but this is bugging me!"
"Maybe chocolate will help."
"Finally!"
"Will you calm down then?"
"Yes, and whatever was on my mind isn't important."
"Whatever you say V."
"I mean who could be important to a symbiote besides you? Your the perfect host, the only other person that could be as perfect of a host is"

"Murphy?"
"What? I'm up." 10 year old Murphy said sitting up, rubbing his eye gently with a soft yawn, hearing knocking at the door.
"Breakfast is ready." His grandma said.
"Alright, thank you." he said, standing up now, hearing her walk back downstairs.
He looked over at the teddy bear by him, gently rubbing it's head.
His green eyes stared at it for a few seconds before he looked away, heading downstairs.
His grandpa was sitting in a chair, reading a newspaper, normal morning.
"Good morning Grandpa." Murphy said.
"Good morning." he heard his Grandpa said.
He went into the kitchen and sat at the table.
He was gently eating the bacon and eggs set out for him, not feeling much hungry, there wasn't much on the plate, but it was more then enough, he couldn't eat a lot of food.
"Remember Murphy, we have to pick up your Soccer stuff today." His grandma said, coming into the kitchen.
"Alright." he said, eating a bit more for a few minutes before he got up, the bus was gonna be there soon, he had to get ready.
He made sure to put the plate in the sink before heading back upstairs.
Changing into jeans, with a greyish red hoodie and matching sneakers, his grandma did say red went great with his black hair.
Brushing his hair with his hand gently, breathing gently. Starting a new grade recently was constantly making him Anxious.
He grabbed his bag, and headed downstairs, giving his grandpa a hug goodbye, and his grandma a kiss before heading outside.
Soon enough the bus was coming to the stop.
Getting on, he walked to the back, usually being the spot open to sit at.
The bus stopped about 3-4 more times, he didn't really notice kids getting on, since they took seats closer to the front.
"Hello." a voice said cheerfully, catching him off guard.
"What?" He asked, looking up when someone said hello.
"I said hello." the girl giggled, her brown eyes matched her brown hair, but the giggle made him a bit flustered since he clearly wasn't paying attention, and she noticed.
"uh...H...hi." he stuttered out.
"We're in the same class aren't we?" The girl asked, sitting next to him.
"I...think so." He said, pausing to think, he didn't talk a whole lot, so he wasn't noticed as much in class, but with school starting recently, it wasn't that big of a deal.
"Murphy right?" The girl asked then, remembering the name.
"Right, and your... Cassie?" he asked, thinking about every name the teacher called.
"Yep." She grinned happily, setting her bag on her lap, which meant she wasn't moving.
"Why haven't I seen you much? You know, since we're on the same bus?" Cassie asked.
"I usually sit in the back more, other kids save seats for friends and I'm one of the last ones on." Murphy said, gently tapping his fingers together, trying not to make it obvious, he was already flustered, which was more obvious.
"I'll be your friend." She happily said, he just noticed she didn't look away at all. She was focused on him.
"R-Really?" he asked, taken slightly aback by how confident she said it.
"Of course, why wouldn't we be friends?" she asked.
"Your one of the first people in our class to talk to me outside of it." He said.
"Your more quiet, that's not a bad thing. It means our friendship is more special." She gave another smile.
"Shouldn't we know each other first?" He asked, it was clear he was nervous, but it didn't faze Cassie slightly.
"Okay, what do you like to do Murphy?" she asked.
He wasn't sure how to respond right away, but thought of some things quickly.
"Well I play soccer... Uh... I like reading." He said, not being able to give a Smoove answer.
"I play soccer too! What books do you like reading?" she excitedly said, her energy and sweetness was starting to get to him a little, she was curious about his interests, it was helping him calm down a little.
"I've been reading Harry Potter, my parents... loved reading them." he said.
"I'm reading thought the first one right now, it's so fun! What else do you like doing?" She asked.
"Hey, I thought we were both meant to share." Murphy said, this response got another giggle from Cassie, he was getting less nervous with how he spoke.
"Alright, I love doing heists with my dad when I visit him." She said
"...Heists?" He asked, processing that statement.
"Yeah, he make a cardboard tunnel with a bunch of heist stuff, like string as laser beams, and a eye scanner made out of cardboard too!" She grinned.
"Ohh, got it." He said, realizing that it was pretend heists.
"I also love reading like you, I like to picture the character's as I read them!" Cassie said.
"Really? I do too!" Murphy said, any butterflies he felt was pretty much gone now.
"This is so fun!" Cassie said, suddenly giving him a hug, catching him by surprise.
"Yeah... super fun." He said, blushing a little now.
"Hey, I just got a great idea!" Cassie said.
"What?" Murphy asked, turning his head to her.
"We can be field trip buddies!" She said.
That's right, a field trip to the Newley named Frisk Industries. It was their field trip tomorrow, he almost forgot about them needing a buddy.
"No one's picked you yet?" Murphy asked, he figure she would have a buddy picked by now, since she had her own group of friends.
"I was the odd one out." She smiled, letting go of the hug.
"a...alright." He said, looking away to try and cover up his blushing a little.
"You didn't have a partner?" She asked, realizing that with his reply.
"I forgot about it." he said.
That was somewhat a lie. He did forget, but anyone he asked when they were told about it already had partners.
"Then it worked out in the end." Cassie said happily.
"I guess so." He said.
"Do you think we'll see anything fun?" She asked.
"Not sure, it's a science building, but there could something you wouldn't see, my grandpa says science is always evolving." Murphy laughed a little at recalling it before going quiet again, with it completely silent between the two.
"Hey, maybe we'll both be on the same soccer team. Since we live close by." she said.
"What?" He asked, looking at her, not expecting the conversation to change.
"You said you play soccer, maybe we'll be on the same team." She giggled.
"Oh...yeah...Yeah! Maybe." He said, slowly smiling as he thought about having a friend on the soccer team. Especially a new one.

"Diego, I've run tests and the symbiote is concerning me." Hernandez said, coming into the room.
"Concerning how? She asked, looking up.
"With every potential host we get, the symbiote's getting more erratic."
"Erratic how!?"
"It's killing the humans faster, it's learning, we need to tell Mr. Frisk, because if we find a host, the symbiote will cause chaos, and kill everyone." Hernandez said.
"Come on, how bad can a symbiote be?" Diego asked before turning to the glass, the exact second the symbiote lunged at the glass, banging into it and making her fall back in shock.
"God Damn that thing!" Diego yelled out before pausing to breath as she stood up.
"Alright, we'll talk to Mr. Frisk, we don't want this getting out of control." Diego said.
"Especially since it's getting mad."
"Why is that bad?"
"Because the more you piss an animal off, the more it's gonna gun for you if it's loose."
"Well the chamber keeps it alive and it can't escape without the door being open." Diego said.
"Carlton Drake got to arrogant, he tried to play god, and it ended in his death, and these creatures from another world payed the price, 5 came to earth, and 3 are dead. The black on and this one, we can't think we're save and then end up dying too." Hernandez said.
"Why are you freaking out?" Diego asked.
"I... I want this to work! We've been running test's on this thing for months with nothing to show, and it's getting more difficult the longer it takes! What doctor's are we if we can't find someone to be a matching host? We've ran every variable, and nothing's worked, if any live longer then a minute, they die within a week! I want to get pure symbiosis." Hernandez said as he sat down, hands on his head.
"We'll get it, we just have to calm and think, this creature is a one of a kind thing. After that school tour tomorrow, we'll get back into work. We will figure this out." Diego said.
"Why are we doing tours again?" Hernandez
"Mr. Frisk's legal advisors said it would be smart to show the world we want to move forward in a way that doesn't look shady." Diego said.
"At least it's just one day." Hernandez said, standing up and walking past the container and leaving the room, the janitor, Gerald walking into the room, Mr. Frisk always wanted the machines clean so nothing went wrong.
He was sweeping right now, but Diego did notice that the symbiote was moving around again, seemingly interested in Gerald. It was hungry, they fed it, but it loved using the failed hosts for food.
It was a chaotic beast, and that's what made it interesting. But it had to wait for more research till tomorrow.
"Gerald, please make sure you don't touch the buttons, it could cause something to go wrong, and we don't want that." Diego said.
Gerald tipped his hat down a little as a response before he went back to sweeping, Diego looked back at the symbiote before she left.
"Well we now have a name for you now besides numbers, your experiment name from now on is Chaos." Diego said, shutting off the light, not seeing Chaos stopped moving, just watching Gerald now.
Gerald was looking tasty, but even then, a snack has a use if you time your play right. Why kill a person when you could use their ability to walk freely around this place to escape. Chaos was playing the waiting game, and the answer was right infront of him.
Tomorrow was his play.
Chapter 3: Host To Host, Only One's Perfect.
Summary:
The Field Trip to Frisk Industries brings about a new danger.

It had to work, the hours spent alone in his tube made Chaos pissed! But it helped too, the glass wasn't made for him that well, each bang to the glass was making it crack slightly more and more.
When Gerald came in again, he could strike, he was new to this world, the doctor's wouldn't fall for his tricks, they studied him to well!
The alarms down here weren't working as far as he recalled, something about damages from a prior incident if the doctor's were right.
He had one chance to get free, it was today! That field trip was gonna have kids everywhere, one was his key to becoming free.
Once the kid was done being useful ... he couldn't kill a kid, most hosts aren't helpful, finding a host that was fun was impossible. He recalled the other symbiotes eating the organs.
He did it because he didn't want to be their lab rat, he was gonna use a kid to get free then switch to another host. After that, he wasn't sure. The symbiotes were dead, but Venom, and he was currently missing in the city.
The light made him move slightly, he wasn't ready for this to happen.
Gerald walked in to clean again, it was too early!
He started slamming on the glass harder, making it crack more.
"Little bastard, you won't be escaping that easy." Gerald said, gently tapping the glass once he got to it.
Chaos stopped and looked at him for a second. He wanted to kill him!
But that was his getaway...
Screw killing him! He was getting free!
He slammed into the glass one more time, going right through it, hitting the ground with a splat!
He was quick to move on the floor, getting under the machine as he saw Gerald quickly ran over to the broken glass.
"Where'd you go?" He asked himself as he looked around for him.
The moment he saw Gerald's hand, Chaos latched onto it, climbing it until he reached his chest.
He felt Gerald's arm go crazy.
Before Gerald could yell something out, Chaos covered his mouth, only hearing muffled screams from him now.
Before Gerald could try and get him off, Chaos managed to enter his mouth, making him his host now.
"Now let's get upstairs before they find out I'm gone." Chaos said, quickly making his head form out of Gerald's body.
"W-What are you doing?!" He asked.
"Using you. Now listen to me, or your die slowly."
"How? You need me."
"Not for long, and if I eat something important you need to live, I can't help you once I'm gone." Chaos said.
"Fine... what are we doing?"
"We're gonna find one of those kids coming, and your touch their shoulder, which will transfer me from you to them." Chaos said.
"That'll kill them!"
"You know nothing of how I work, I kill If I deem It. I won't have to if you listen to me, you won't get hurt, they won't get hurt, and I'll be free."
"alright." He said, gently leaving the lab as Chaos reentered his body.
"So what are you... or why are you doing this? Since I won't see you again once you leave."
"You humans think that we're just animals to be tested on, but in reality, we were sent as scouts."
"We?"
"More then me, yes. What for, That's not something I want to tell you. What I can do that you people don't get is more complicated. Your my puppet! I can control you, force you to do what I want, while I need a host, once I find one, it's more what I can do for you then what you can do for me, If I can't get that help, I move to a new host."
"If you can move hosts why kill all the subjects?"
"Because, If I let them be my host, this wouldn't be happening right now, I'd be trapped, and I'm tired of being in a tube, and while I want to rip your head off, your lucky you have a use, and once that use is gone, I can't kill you or else my new host is in trouble."
While he was leaving him to take the fall, the scientist will think he got out over night, they fear him, not understanding the limitless power he had. Hell, he could have used a host they gave him, and broken free, but they understood what harmed him to a degree, and the loud siren hurt!
If he saw those two again, they were dead! If Venom was alive, it would be complicated.
Venom was considered low on the symbiote hierarchy, but they didn't hate each other, Chaos didn't see a reason to demean Venom like Riot did. To be frank, Riot being dead was nice, Chaos didn't have to deal with his rules for what they were gonna do, and Chaos can do what he wants now.
Living on earth? That might not work, trying to get back to space might be a smarter start, from the waiting he had, there's a ton of heroes our there, and he wasn't gonna get out just to die or captured by them. He wouldn't allow it.
Not like he'd have a reason to stay, a kid as a host would not be an ideal place to be, they see him once, and it would be hell, they would be terrified of him, and then he'd have to go back and forth on killing them to stay quiet, and they weren't monsters yet. He was leaving with a kid today, then switching with their teacher, or their parent, which ever opportunity comes first. He had the free will to pick his host, and is choices were like candy in a candy store!
Nothing sweeter then that!
"Alright Sweetie, the bus will be back at 5, where we'll be waiting for you." Murphy's grandma said, gently messing with his hair to make it neater.
"Alright." He said, moving his head away after a few more seconds, it was the field trip, having to be at school a little early today, the bus was nearby for his class, each class got a bus which was why they had to have a buddy system.
"I know the lunch said a healthy snack, but I snuck some chocolate into your bag too, it's our little secret." His grandma smiled, which got a small laugh from him.
"Our little secret." he smiled back as gave her a hug them.
"Enjoy your field trip." she said.
"Thank you." he said as he got onto the bus, looking around, he didn't see Cassie yet. So he had to pick where they sat on the way up, bus buddies, buddies on the trip and on the way home.
He sat down around the middle of the bus, letting his head rest on the seat. It was early still, some kids had energy in the morning and some didn't. He started to close his eyes, the noise around him started to become more quiet.
"Murph!" Cassie suddenly yelled, sitting next to him made him jump up slightly from how sudden it was.
"I didn't fall asleep!" He yelled out, not processing everything yet.
The giggle from Cassie made him look at her then.
"Oh... hey." he said.
"Sleepy?" She asked, looking at his green eyes.
"Sort of, my grandparents wanted me to be up early so I wouldn't be late." He said, letting his head rest against the seat again.
"So we have a bit to go till we get to the building, what do you want to do?" She asked.
"I was gonna read the book we're currently reading, it makes it more easy to follow after reading it for me."
"Which one, superfudge?"
"No, we just finished that, the new one is Ramona Quimbly, age 8."
"Right, my friends said it was the next one."
"My grandparents want me to read a book first before seeing a movie based on the book."
She picked up slightly on him saying his grandparents a second time, but thought it would be better not to say it.
"Like what?"
"Jurassic park."
"My daddy was worried it's to mature for me to read."
"It's not a kids book, but my mom was 10 when she read it, so I'm allowed to read it, and it's not for young kids"
"How so?"
"Violent, really violent, I don't want to explain more." He said.
"Well did you bring more then one book?" she asked, smiling.
"I got Some goosebumps."
"Wasn't that a tv show?"
"Based on the books."
"Oh, got it. Didn't think you were into horror." She giggled.
"I'm not great with scary things, but Goosebumps isn't that bad."
"Which one's do you have?"
"In my bag at the moment? Night of the living dummy, monster blood and cucko clock of doom."
"That last one sounds funny."
"You can read it if you want."
"We can read it together mister expert."
"T-together?" he asked, blushing a little.
She almost giggled at how cute it was, he wasn't expecting that.
"Yeah, you know all about it, and could help if I have a question." she said.
"I guess." he said as he got the book out.
He wasn't good with girls that much.
2 hours was a long ride, yet it was super short, he didn't even realize they were their till the bus stopped.
With the bus loaded with kids, they were able to read out loud quietly, taking turns even. But he wasn't gonna admit that her leaning on his should to see better didn't make him stumble with some words.
Or make him blush.
Nether didn't happen, but no kid would admite to it happening.
"Start cleaning! Quickly! No one will see it strange." Chaos said, having being with Gerald for over 4 hours now, he wanted to just eat a kidney, but that wouldn't help, but his gambit payed off, he saw the group of kids.
"Why?" Gerald asked.
"No one will question why a janitor is cleaning around kids!" He said.
Gerald complied, as he was quick to get a broom, and started sweeping as he listened to the tour guide.
"We must act normal, it can get bad if we jump the gun. "
"Aren't you worried about being hunted once your found to be missing?"
"That's why I'm getting far away, you may not like me, but you won't let a kid get harmed, and I won't have to do that as long as you don't tell them."
The symbiote wasn't a mounter like reports say, he was... slightly messed up, but compared to the other's, he didn't want to kill anyone he wanted too.
Call it him thinking everything over, or him not being evil, the symbiote still gave him slight worry.
No one knew what he can/would do once the chain's off, it scared him.
Another worker walking by him made him almost jump, Chaos not responding made it worse, since no talking made the thought of him being gone possible.
"He's not good, it's a worker." Chaos said.
He just nodded, not wanting to poke the beast. He kept sweeping as he listened nearby.
"Frisk Industries strives to be a top provider of many things, technology being a big one. It's a tough market with Stark Industries, Pym Tech, and Oscorp, but after chaotic events lead to new management, we've built a new path." The tour guide explained as they kept walking.
"Something the life foundation did work on that we can talk about, is work with alien life." that got all the kids interested now.
"First fully discovered in 2012 when aliens attacked New York, the life foundation found unknown life forms, spending time experimenting on them. The creatures seemed to be parasitic, needed a host to live and feeding off of them, But when founder Carlton Drake was killed, he died with any parasitic creatures that was left. Yes?" She asked as she pointed to a kid who raised his had.
"Isn't their a monster similar still alive?" The kid asked.
"Those are just faked for the news, no real person could have that appearance. The space creatures were only ever inside based on reports. We don't focus on the life growth like that, the dangers and unpredictability are to risky, and a waste of time. Now we'll take a 5 minute break before continuing on."
Murphy was zoning in and out at times, they've spent over an hour walking and hearing stuff about technology, once you hear one thing, you hear more and soon tune it out. The talk of alien life was interesting, but it was too short to be fun.
"I'm getting bored." Murphy gently mumbled to Cassie, who giggled a little when she saw him.
"You do look tired." she said.
"I know most of the stuff we heard, it's just..."
"Old?" She asked, trying to help.
"Yeah." Murphy said, rubbing his eyes a little as he tried to wake up.
"Well let's go see their reports on this alien parasite." She giggled as she grabbed his hand, pulling him towards it.
"Wa-fine." He said, deciding not to fight it as they got over to it."
"Both were a blacking color?" Murphy asked as they were reading it with security photo's of the aliens.
"One's a greyish color." She said.
"Close to black." Murphy said.
"Must be scary having something like that in you, slowly eating you and giving you feelings you normally won't feel. It would even harm you. I mean imagined if it talked to you, it would make you feel like your insane. No one would believe you had one in you, and nothing would help. I'm sorry!" Cassie said after she realized she rambled off into that speech without seeing how Murphy reacted.
"It's fine. It's an interesting thought about what they could do, but aliens are something we don't know about, anything is possible and the mindset is amazing." Murphy said, reading more about the parasitic creatures, not able to look away.
"Wait for it, when I broke free I hacked into a terminal slightly to set off a quick shutdown of power, when that happens, I'll handle the rest."
"Wait you can hack stuff?" Gerald asked, right as the light's cut off, some even screaming in shock or fear. Gerald felt himself move forward quick as he grabbed someone's shoulder, hearing the person cry out in surprise as he held the screen above them to steady himself, it was a boy.
"What!?" A girl by them asked.
"Someone's grabbing my shoulder!" The boy said, once it felt like nothing was holding his arm down, Gerald moved his arm away, and backed up, getting away right as the lights came back on.
The boy looked around, his green eyes going back and forth, still surprised at the lights, the girl beside him seemed to find it funny and cute..
"Sorry, I I though something grabbed me when the lights went out." Murphy said, looking around more, stopping for a moment at the janitor, but kept looking around.
"It's alright." Cassie said, seemingly fine.
The teacher called the class over, and the two kids left Gerald there.
"You there?" He asked himself, hearing nothing after a few seconds, he felt a weight off his shoulders, but something was still there.
"What did I just let him do?" Gerald asked himself as the class left for the lunch area.
"I'm getting a headache." Murphy mumbled as he grabbed his lunch bag.
"Don't worry, it's just a side effect."
"What?" Murphy asked, looking at Cassie.
"I didn't say anything." she said, sitting by him.
He held his head at the voices, chairs scraping on the floor, anything hitting a table, even a fork scrabing a plate was causing pain.
"Your diffrent from everyone else, I like it."
Murphy looked around again confused on where the voice came from.
"I thought we wernt allowed to bring chocolate?" Cassie asked as he opened his lunch bag.
"my grandma packed it for me." he said, trying to hide it a bit more.
"That's sweet of her." Cassie smiled as she opened hers.
"aww, she likes you."
Murphy looked around again as he started eating, I felt like his stomach was getting bigger as he felt more hungry.
Everything just slowly became fuzzy as he looked back at his food, his mind becoming a blur as he felt more hungry.
"Wow. You must be really hungry." Cassie's voice cut inti his mind as he blinked.
"huh?" he asked, tasting fruit snacks in his mouth, like the whole bag was poured into his mouth. looking down, most of his food was gone.
"What happened, everything went... fuzzy." he admitted, trying to chew the remainder of the fruit snacks, the flavors mixing.
"you suddenly just started eating fast, like nothing was stopping you." Cassie said.
"Sorry, couldn't help myself haven't been able to eat something that good in a while!"
Murphy held his head, that wasn't normal. He couldn't eat a lot of food at once, why could he now?
"Yeah, really hungry." Murphy mumbled.
He had to fight the urge to just devour the whole chocolate bar as he gently bit into it. He could feel something wanting him to eat it all at once.
