Summary
Mr Michelson answered his phone almost immediately, before Bruce had had time to think about what he was doing and what he was supposed to start with.
So he just blurted out: “How do you adopt someone?”
That was followed by a surprised silence and Bruce thought he could hear the lawyer readjusting his mental gear to deal with the question and its implications. Then, slowly and carefully he asked, with a hint of suspicion in his voice: “Mister Wayne, are you by any chance planning on adopting someone?”Or, Bruce was about to become a lonesome vigilante but suddenly there is a child clinging to him and he can't just leave the kid alone.
